Tonight, we’re off for an optional Moroccan feast… with live entertainment too. Locations Visited: Fes MA.
  • Day 6 Fes to Erfoud   Today we drive into the High Atlas Mountains, North Africa's highest mountain range as we make our way over to Erfoud. All before making base and enjoying some dinner in Erfoud, an oasis town situated in the mist of the Sahara Desert. Locations Visited: Fes MA, Erfoud MA.
  • Day 7 Erfoud to Merzouga   Erfoud, it's been a blast, but move on we must! We'll be making a charming stop for a home visit where we'll enjoy local Berber hospitality and plenty of Moroccan mint tea. Back on the road but we'll be making a stop in Rissani for a lazy lunch and maybe a cheeky swim (just what we need)! We've arrived, but we're not stopping yet. Enjoy an optional visit to the Barber Music Center for some culture. Then in the evening, we'll swap the coach out for some camels and trek into the Sahara Desert for some beautiful sunset views. For dinner you'll be treated to a traditional Berber feast inside a traditional Berber tent before settling in for the night. Locations Visited: Erfoud MA, Rissani MA, Merzouga MA.
  • Day 8 Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Todra Gorge   We're back on the road, and today it's time to unleash your inner Gladiator. After driving the iconic 1000 kasbahs and eating lunch at the beautiful oasis of Tinghir, we’ll head off to Todra Gorge. Here you’ll have the chance to do some hiking and visit a Date Palmerie. Afterwards, you can visit Tatefy, a local women’s cooperative on the edge of the Dades Valley, known for its tea and baked goods (a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experience). Once you're full and ready to go we will explore Ouarzazate - an iconic city you'll recognise from films including Kingdom of Heaven and Gladiator. • Day 9 Ouarzazate to Marrakesh   Morning! How about starting the day with some traditional treats? Back in the Red City, you’ll have the chance to take a cooking class with a local family learning all about Moroccan hospitality and even have the chance to get a traditional Hammam Spa treatment. Locations Visited: Ouarzazate MA, Marrakesh MA.
  • Day 10 Marrakesh   Rise and shine! It’s a free day, and luckily, there are a lot of ways to spend it. Choose to relax at the hotel, or hit the streets for some DIY exploration. Oh, and dinner’s on us tonight! Locations Visited: Marrakesh MA.
  • Day 11 Marrakesh to Taroudant   Goood morning! After breakfast, we’ll hit the road to our next stop – passing by changing landscapes of plains, argan tree forests and rolling hills. We'll roll into Taroudant and waste no time heading out for lunch. Join the crew or do your own thing and tap into the local food scene. Don’t stress if it feels brief — we’ll be back later to explore properly. Welcome to paradise! Today we’ll explore this peaceful oasis at the foot of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Expect lush palm groves, trickling water, local Berber life, and a historic kasbah overlooking the valley. Back in Taroudant, you're free to wander the medina, browse the souks for silver jewellery, leather goods, and spices. • Day 12 Taroudant to Essaouira   This morning, we’ll drive along the Anti-Atlas mountains as we say goodbye to Taroudant. You’ve got the Atlantic ocean on one side and historic Berber towns on the other. Soak in all the views while you can. Welcome to Morocco's hidden coastal gem! Souks, cafes, terraces, fishing villages - there’s plenty to see here. End the night chilling by the beach (drink in hand - possibly local mint tea!) that’s across the road from our hotel. Locations Visited: Taroudant MA, Essaouira MA.
  • Day 13 Essaouira to Agafay Desert   It’s a DIY morning today, with plenty of time to explore the town at your pace. In the afternoon, we’ll make our way to a tranquil hidden gem in the wilderness of Morocco. The endless dusky red panorama in front of you isn’t your typical desert. It’s all rock! After we check into our luxurious tents, you’ll have the chance to cool off with a dip in the pool. Or even better - take a camel ride through the desert. Locations Visited: Essaouira MA, Agafay Desert MA.
  • Day 14 Agafay Desert to Marrakesh   Noooo, it’s the last day already! Worry not, there’s one more included meal to feast on before we head back to the city where it all began. All good things come to an end. But there are plenty more good things on the horizon. (Like another epic adventure? Somewhere in Asia next time?). So bid your farewells, exchange your deets and hop on for an airport transfer! Locations Visited: Agafay Desert MA, Marrakesh MA.

  • Highlights

    • Dining Summary - 7 Dinner (D). 12 Breakfast (B). 2 Lunch (L).
    • FAQs - Marrakesh: A modular trip means fellow travellers will join and leave at various locations. There’ll be some goodbyes, sure, but there’ll also be plenty of hellos with new like-minded travellers.. Marrakesh: Tipping’s a big deal in Morocco - it's part of the culture and helps support locals (especially those working in tourism). During your trip, you’ll be expected to tip people like hotel staff, local guides, porters, and restaurant crews. To keep it simple (and avoid the awkward maths), your Trip Manager will organise a tipping kitty. On Day 1, they’ll collect $100 USD (or local equivalent in MAD), to cover group service tips along the way. Heads-up: this doesn’t include a tip for your Trip Manager..
    • Included Experience - Rabat: Stroll around the Moroccan capital and check out the Hassan Tower and Dar al-Makhzen: the official royal palace. (entry not included) . Chefchaouen: Morocco’s ‘blue pearl’ is one of the world’s most Instagrammable places. Marvel at the medina of turquoise, azure and sky blue.   . Volubilis: See another side to colourful Morocco, as you explore the Ancient Roman ruins at this archaeological site. . Fes: Get to know the city through the eyes of a local. See the Medina, Royal Palace, and visit a co-operative for handmade carpets. . Erfoud: Stay at an authentic Moroccan hotel that’s like an oasis in the desert, with a pool, aircon, and sun loungers. . Merzouga: Stay at a luxury desert camp, equipped with a pool, hot showers, air con, and a lounge area inside tents.  . Ouarzazate: Enjoy a traditional tea ritual with a nomad family. It’s a hallmark of Moroccan hospitality.   . Merzouga: Saddle up and get ready for a sand-filled adventure atop an actual camel. A total bucket list moment! . Todra Gorge: Nestled in the divine beauty of the Dades Valley, we'll meet the women of Tatefy to listen to their stories and enjoy their tea and cakes.. Ouarzazate: Get to know the local women behind the production of Morocco’s ‘liquid gold’ and see the work being done by this social enterprise. . Marrakesh: Step into the heart of the action in this bustling square. Get a taste of local life and do a bit of people watching. .
