- Day 3 Madrid to Granada Via Toledo Leave Madrid behind for Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city famed for its sword-making heritage. With a Local Specialist, visit the Church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco’s masterpiece ‘The Burial of the Count of Orgaz’, and explore a historic synagogue. With a Local Specialist, follow in the footsteps of Matisse, Jack Kerouac and Cézanne, uncovering the city’s rich history and striking blend of Moroccan and Spanish influences—from lively souks to grand colonial architecture in this gateway to North Africa. - Day 7 Explore the Blue City Venture into the Rif Mountains to explore Chefchaouen, the famed Blue City.
