  • City Highlights
  • Day 1 Start Copenhagen   Good afternoon globe-roamers and welcome to your first stop of memory-making magic. After a bit of a mingle with the new squad we'll be getting into the spirit of our imminent adventures in Copenhagen. We've got all day tomorrow to suss out the city, so after a drive out to the Little Mermaid Statue for a group photo, tonight can stay reserved for Contiki hangs if you're feeling social. Locations Visited: Copenhagen DK.
  • Day 2 Copenhagen   Locals on bicycles, Danish pastries in cute cafe windows, Renaissance architecture - welcome to Copenhagen. First things first, we'll take an orientation tour of this wonderful city's old town. Then you have the option to explore it even further on a bike tour (just like the locals!), and check-out Tivoli Gardens Amusement Park in the evening. Locations Visited: Copenhagen DK.
  • Day 3 Copenhagen to Oslo   Before you go bursting out of your travel clothes thanks to your new-found pastry dependency, we're bailing on Denmark. Next stop: Norway! To the call of castles, fresh seafood, & pretty parks, we respond! Today we're taking on Norway. Locations Visited: Copenhagen DK, Oslo NO.
  • Day 4 Oslo   Oslo, both the capital and biggest city of Norway, is a riverside metropolis back-dropped by mountains of greenery and filled with easy-going culture. We'll get to know Oslo this morning on an orientation tour and then can potter around museums and pretty buildings for the rest of the day. You also have the option to go on a fjord cruise - from the forest to the fjord! Locations Visited: Oslo NO.
  • Day 5 Oslo to Elverum   Today, we'll head to the traditional city of Elverum - but not without a stop at the world's largest single artist sculpture park on the way. Hey hey, Lillehammer! Upon arrival we can check out the ski jump, take a stroll through the city and then find a spot for dinner.  With plenty of churches and lakes, things are bound to feel authentically Scandinavian here in Elverum, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Locations Visited: Oslo NO, Lillehammer NO, Elverum NO.
  • Day 6 Elverum to Torgås   Rise and shine! More adventures await us today. We're crossing the border from Norway to Sweden, so keep an eye out for the famous Vasaloppet start line. We’ll head out for a hike during the day (with snowshoes if there’s snow). We’ll also be joined by some huskies…so be prepared for a cuteness overload. You also have the option to unwind at a Swedish sauna this evening. For dinner tonight, we’ll tuck into a traditional Norwegian speciality – reindeer stew served with mashed potatoes and lingonberry. It’s enough to warm the cockles of your heart. Locations Visited: Elverum NO, Torgås SE.
  • Day 7 Torgås   Today you'll wake up in Torgåsgården - a Contiki Special Stay renowned for its jaw-dropping natural beauty. Skiing, anyone? How about snowboarding? Maybe indoor swimming and high-speed water slides sound good? Whatever you fancy, you can choose to do it here! Locations Visited: Torgås SE.
  • Day 8 Torgås to Stockholm   Leaving Dalarna behind and bidding farewell to the orange Dala horse (Sweden's national symbol), we're headed to the capital today. Stockholm, here we come! After an orientation tour of the city, it's time to check into our stylish Generator accommodation and then find a good spot for dinner. Locations Visited: Torgås SE, Stockholm SE.
  • Day 9 Stockholm   Morning folks. Feeling a bit adventurous this morning? How 'bout an optional kayaking tour? Then you're free to wander the quaint medieval streets of Gamla Stan & try to catch the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace. All that ground covered will earn you some Swedish salmon & an Absolut on the rocks – but don’t forget to save room for your evening meatballs…. Locations Visited: Stockholm SE.
  • Day 10 End Stockholm   Our trip finishes after breakfast today but Scandinavia will live on in our memories for years to come. Swap contact details and start planning your next adventure! Locations Visited: Stockholm SE.

    • FAQs - London: A modular trip means fellow travellers will join and leave at various locations. There’ll be some goodbyes, sure, but there’ll also be plenty of hellos with new like-minded travellers.. Oslo: Scandinavia can be extremely cold during the winter (we’re talking 0°C or 32°F). Heads up! On rare occasions your Trip Manager might be forced to alter the itinerary due to adverse weather conditions.. Oslo: Pack warm! We suggest bringing a warm waterproof jacket, gloves, thermals, hat, and sunglasses. Plus, a good pair of sturdy shoes for walking across snow or ice.. Oslo: Scandinavian weather can be extremely varied. In the shoulder season (May and October) you can expect single-digit temperature and warm sunny days. From June until September, temperatures can reach well above 30° C (86° F).. Oslo: It’s always a good idea to bring a warm windproof jacket cuz it can get quite cool at night especially outside of the cities.. Oslo: Hopefully! The Northern Lights (AKA the Aurora Borealis) are a natural display of coloured lights in the night sky of the northern hemisphere. They’re a natural phenomenon, so it can never be guaranteed. But you’ll have a higher chance of seeing them the further up north you go & if the sky’s clear. (Fingers crossed...). Oslo: The currencies of the countries we visit on this trip are the Danish Krone (DKK), the Norwegian Krone (NOK), and the Swedish Krone (SEK). Need cash? ATMs are readily available, and most places accept credit/debit cards..
    • Included Experience - Copenhagen: Kick off your trip with a visit to the Little Mermaid state, the Gefion Fountain and the Royal Palace. Let the photo ops begin.... Copenhagen: Get your bearings in the coolest way possible - with a TM-led walking tour through the heart of Copenhagen. From the buzzing Town Hall Square to the iconic Stork Fountain, we’ll stroll past historic hotspots like the Round Tower, Copenhagen Uni, and the city’s oldest square. It’s culture, cobblestones and all the Scandi charm, served fresh.. Oslo: Take an orientation around the friendly Norwegian capital. Soak up the Viking and maritime legacy, see city highlights and discover where to get the best seafood.. Oslo: Get your sculpture culture on! It’s hard to believe that one artist created all of these masterpieces.. Torgås: Stay in a small, family-owned hotel for a cute, homely vibe. You’ll also get to explore the local area.. Stockholm (Solna): Wanna get a feel for Sweden's stunning capital? Come discover the historic sites of Stockholm, from the kaleidoscopic buildings of Gamla Stan (the old town) to the stunning waterfront views..
