When is the best time to go?
When to go on an Africa tour really depends on the type of excursion you would like to have. Generally, there are regional variations in Africa. East Africa has two dry seasons which goes from December to February or March and June to October. Southern Africa, on the other hand, is dry from May or June, gets hot in October, and rains from November until April or May. In West Africa, the dry season is October or November until April or May. In Central Africa, June to September is the dry time.
