Why go on a Florida tour?

A sun-lover's paradise situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico, it is no wonder that going on a Florida tour is a travel fancy for many. Its blissful beaches, inventive amusement parks, and fabulous shopping centres make it a perfect destination for travellers of all sorts – whether for families, couples, seniors, or solo travellers.

Start your journey in Orlando and see the magical world of Disney come to life. There’s something about being in a kingdom where dreams really do come true that will spark any traveller’s dream. Then discover what inspires a city built on imagination by visiting nearby local museums and galleries. After, travel south and spend some time in Miami and immerse yourself in the vibrant mix of Cuban, Haitian, and Columbian cultures. While there, take some time to explore the beaches and seaside nightlife. Canoe in the Everglades, and discover its unsung wildlife and landscape. Travellers that get to experience its beautiful subtropical landscape will argue that it is one of Florida’s best kept secrets.  Just north of Orlando, why not venture into America’s oldest city, St. Augustine known for its rich Native American heritage. There is so much to do and see in a Florida tour that travellers will come home with many exciting stories.

When is the best time to go?

Florida has a mild climate throughout the year, so you can go on a Florida tour anytime. The peak season runs from June to August when school is out. Peaks also occur during major holidays and around Easter time. The month of January up until February, on the other hand, is generally quieter. Weather from the months of February to April is pleasant, with temperatures averaging between 21C and 27C in the day and 10C to 16C at night. The best time to visit is February when there is pleasant weather and fewer tourists.
