Why go on an India Tour?

India is the second most populous country in the world and has many intriguing sights for tourists to discover.  You may visit Delhi and take in all of its attractions. Walk the narrow streets of Old Delhi and visit the Chandni Chowk bazaar and the Jama Masjid, India`s largest mosque.  In New Delhi, view important monuments like the India Gate, the President`s House, and the ancient Qutub Minar.  The architecturally beautiful Humayun`s Tomb built in 1570 inspired the construction of the Taj Mahal.  Visit the stunning Taj Mahal in Agra that is globally regarded as an artistic and historic masterpiece.  This marble monument was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife. Aboard a tonga (horse-carriage), you will continue your journey in Agra and drive past the red sandstone fortress, the Agra Fort, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar.  Discover the palaces in Jaipur and the temple architecture in Khajuraho.  Watch the crocodiles, hyenas, and tigers as you drive through Ranthambore National Park and visit the site where Buddha gave his first sermon in 6th century BC in Varanasai.  You may also participate in a yoga class in Udaipur, learn some fragments of the native language in New Delhi, participate in a cooking demonstration in Ranthambore, and try your hand at turban and sari tying and henna tattooing in Jaipur, all on an exciting India Tour!

When is the best time to go?

The coldest months of the year are December and January and temperatures range between 10C and 15C.  Summer temperatures range between 32C-40C during April to July. The monsoon, or rainy season, spans between June and September.  While the summer heat may be overwhelming in some areas, summer is the time for wildlife-spotting and exploring national parks.  The winter season is popular for visiting the sandy beaches in Goa and the deserts in Rajasthan.
