Why go on a Nepal Tour?

Nestled between China and India is the magnificent country of Nepal.  The opportunity for mountain adventures on Mt Everest attracts tourists from all over the world who want to trek through the trails.  The vast national parks, incredible wildlife and bungee jumping, rafting, kayaking, and mountain-biking activities (to name a few) is a definite point of attraction. In Royal Chitwan National Park, you can explore the forest and grasslands and spot tigers, leopards, and rhinos roaming around.  You can also embark on a game viewing tour on an elephant!  In Patan, the “City of Beauty,” you may visit Durbar Square to discover the artistic heritage, elegant architecture, temples, and monuments.  In Kathmandu, you may visit Bouddhanath, the sacred Buddhist spot; Hanuman Dhoka, the royal palace; and the Temple of Kumari, dedicated to the goddess Durga. With so much to see, travellers ache to return to this destination to soak up more of the culture.

When is the best time to go?

Nepal’s climate varies depending on location. Summer temperatures can exceed 35°C in some areas and 25°C in milder areas like Kathmandu.  Winters range from 7°C to 23°C while mountainous areas are generally cooler. Trekkers must be prepared to encounter snow at higher altitudes in the winter.  The wet season takes place from June to September, so September and November are good times for a Nepal Tour, when the air is clean, making way for nice views, lush grasslands, and comfortably warm temperatures.
