When is the best time to go?

North Carolina offers a humid, subtropical climate. Winters tend to be short and mild in the state, while summers are humid. Overall, temperatures rarely rise above 38C or fall below -12C. In January, temperatures generally range between 9C and 21C. Meanwhile, July temperatures generally range between 20C and 27C.
