When is the best time to go?

By far one of the best times to go on a Washington tour is in the spring, when the cherry blossoms are in season. A photographer’s paradise, the Cherry Blossom Festival is one of the most picturesque times of the year to travel to Washington. From December to January, the weather may get surprisingly cold with temperatures dropping to just below freezing point. While, April to May with the weather averaging between 10C and 16C, is an ideal time for travelers looking to beat the summer crowds and the winter cold.
