It is imperative that you read the following conditions carefully before making your reservation. The clauses contained in these conditions and obligations are an integral part of the commitment you make with tripcentral Tours (hereinafter referred to as TC Tours). Your registration for one of our packages implies knowledge and acceptance of them and the clauses contained in this site constitute your contract.
1. Services
All services (hotels, flights, transfers, tours, excursions...) included in our packages were confirmed or available at the time of printing. If changes were to occur between now and the departure date, we would replace the benefit with a similar one or it would take place on a different date. No compensation will be paid in return.
2. Prices shown
Prices are based on service providers, exchange rates, fuel costs, taxes and other fees in effect at the time of program preparation. The prices indicated in the brochure/website may increase in the event of an increase in taxes, fees or fees authorized by a competent public authority. The customer acknowledges that the price of the contract may be modified in the event of an increase in the price of fuel imposed by the carrier, an increase in airport taxes, an increase in port taxes or an increase in the exchange rate, to the extent that the exchange rate applicable 45 days prior to departure has increased by more than 5% since the date of purchase.
If the change results in a price increase equal to or greater than 7%, excluding GST and QST, the customer may choose between (1) the cancellation of this contract including a full refund, or (2) the acceptance of the replacement services that may be offered by the travel agent. However, no price changes can take place less than 30 days before departure.
All prices listed in this brochure are in Canadian dollars. For Quebec residents, the contribution to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents (FICAV) has been free since January 1, 2024 and is included in the prices. This notice is subject to change without notice.
Insufficient numbers of participants can be a very valid reason for cancelling trips. If any changes need to be made, we will be sure to notify you as soon as possible.
3. Deposit and final payment
PACKAGES – LAND PORTIONS
Deposit:
Less than $500: Total amount of the trip
$500 AND MORE: 30% of the total amount.
Final payment must be received at our offices no later than 60 days prior to departure or as per the date indicated on your invoice, depending on the trip chosen.
Until the required deposit is received, TC Tours has no obligation to confirm reservations and some promotions may be cancelled.
FLIGHT TICKET
Deposit and final payment required at the time of booking or according to the airline's conditions.
For all travel, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Note:
Some products with special conditions may have special booking requirements. They will be communicated to you when booking.
4. Cancellation fees
The cancellation of your file must be notified to us in writing only.
If you cancel your trip, a cancellation fee based on the amount of your trip will be retained for each person and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds during the trip.
Any cancellation of a reservation, at the request of a traveller, regardless of the reason given (personal reasons, acts of terrorism, unrest or fear of political unrest, natural disaster, pandemic, government advisory, etc.), will automatically result in the loss of the amounts on file. The cancellation fee that applies per person for any cancellation before the date of the final payment = the amount of the deposit; after the date of final payment = 100% of the total cost including taxes and service fees. In the event of a cancellation made by TC Tours other than force majeure such as acts of terrorism, disturbances or fears of political unrest, natural disaster, pandemic, government notice, border closure, strike, etc., the customer will be refunded or credited the full amount paid on the date of cancellation. At the customer's request, another package may be offered and the amount previously paid can be transferred to their new choice. TC Tours thus disclaims any other liability.
Car Rental / Buy-Back

Driver Name Change: $75
3 days or less before departure: 100% non-refundable
5. Service not used
No refunds will be made for any service not used during the trip.
6. Credit card payment
The traveller, by allowing the use of his credit card number by the travel agent, undertakes to comply with the booking conditions even if he has not signed the appropriate form. Verbal authorization is sufficient to confirm the reservation. However, at the request of the travel professional, the traveller will be required to stipulate in writing that he or she agrees to the use of his or her card without a signature.
7. Air, sea or land transport
The customer acknowledges and agrees that: TC Tours is not a carrier and has no control or obligation with respect to the schedules, air, sea or land routes, or the type of aircraft, vessel or vehicle chosen by the relevant carriers or receptives.
Air Transportation: Passengers have the duty and responsibility to present themselves at the check-in counter at the time indicated on the voucher or for an international flight at the air carrier's counter at least 3 hours before departure. It is the responsibility of travelers to reconfirm your flight dates and times at least 24 hours before departure, regardless of the country or airport involved. Depending on the load factor of the aircraft, the airline reserves the right, at any time, to change the flight itinerary and to make a connection or stopover on the outbound and/or return journey.
Flight schedules: Airline schedules are for information purposes only and are subject to change without notice. TC Tours cannot be held responsible for any delays, changes or cancellations of flights. In addition, the seats on the plane are assigned at the airport by the agent at the airline counter and we have no control over them. TC Tours accepts no responsibility for changes in seat assignments, schedules, aircraft, or carrier(s).
The land transport offered is carried out in accordance with the various regulations of the bodies managing drivers' driving hours.
Changes: Consolidations and changes to schedules, aircraft or vehicle type, days of operation, transportation company and routes may be affected at any time without notice. We reserve the right to adapt the size of the vehicle according to the number of participants. During ground transport, seats are not reserved, except for that of the guide and/or the accompanying person. They are instructed to rotate seats and demand that there be no exceptions, otherwise they will be penalized.
8. Accommodation
All the accommodations listed on this site are quality establishments, with different classes depending on the location and country. There are major reasons why we may change those in the program, but always for a similar or higher category. Rooms are usually composed of one or two double beds, two twin beds or a single bed with private bathroom (unless otherwise specified). You will receive the list of accommodation places and their contact details with your documents. Please note that rooms can be of different sizes and configurations in the same hotel.
9. Rooms
In the majority of the establishments chosen, a room in triple or quadruple occupancy is composed of two double beds, the same size as a room in double occupancy, which is not recommended for long trips. In Europe and in many other countries, there is no triple or quadruple occupancy. In addition, the rooms are smaller compared to North American standards.
10. Hotel (international practice)
The client acknowledges and agrees to take possession of his room around 4 p.m. and to vacate it before noon.
11. Distribution of rooms and/or cabins
TC Tours acts as an intermediary between you and the various service providers. It is therefore impossible for us to guarantee you a special location, a floor or a particular view, as only hoteliers and/or cruise passengers have the privilege of distributing rooms to passengers. For cruises, any cabin upgrades are beyond our control and are the result of the shipping company's decision.
12. Photographs or images
All photos or images are reproduced for illustrative purposes only. Room décor can also vary.
13. Baggage
Luggage is limited to one suitcase per person, with a travel bag if required. The latter will be under the surveillance of the passenger. All baggage is carried at the traveller's risk and must comply with the airline's instructions if a part of the journey is made by air. You will receive luggage tags with your travel documents. We kindly ask you to complete them and attach them to your luggage before departure. Proper identification of these will facilitate their handling (when included only). It may happen that the coach or the transport company cannot park in front of the hotel. In this case, you will have to walk a few meters with your luggage if handling is not included. We assume no responsibility for loss, theft or damage caused to your luggage and personal belongings. We strongly recommend that you purchase baggage insurance. Please note that all passengers are subject to the baggage rules of the various airlines.
14. Tips
Tips to guides and driver are not included (unless otherwise stated). We recommend that you base yourself on international standards, i.e.: $5 per day per person for the guide and $3 per day per person for the driver, in America. In Europe, the standard is 5 euros per day per person for the guide and 3 euros per day per person for the driver. For all other destinations, ask your travel agent for more information.
15. Habits and customs
The habits, customs, housing, food and lifestyle of the countries concerned are different from those of Canada. You cannot therefore expect to find in the countries visited infrastructure, transportation, housing, food, habits, customs and lifestyle habits identical or even similar to those prevailing in Canada. The classifications of accommodations and facilities are not the same as in North America. Please note that any complaints or claims related to the habits and customs of the country visited will be automatically refused.
16. Travel insurance
In order to travel with peace of mind, we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance for your trips in Quebec and a comprehensive package insurance for all your trips outside Quebec. If your trip is insured by your credit card or any other personal insurance, it is your responsibility to check the coverage amounts and the number of days covered by it and, if necessary, to take out additional insurance.
In the context of travel: Sports and Adventures and World Experiences, it is important to validate the coverage with your insurer.
17. Required documents and entry requirements
It is the sole responsibility of the client to obtain in a timely manner and at his/her own expense, passports, visas, private authorizations or other documents that are mandatory for travel and that are required by government authorities for his/her travel. These documents may vary depending on citizenship status and destination. For some destinations, the passport must be valid for a period beyond the intended date of return to Canada. If you do not have these documents, the carrier or the competent authorities may refuse you access to or entry into a country and you will not be able to obtain any refund. TC Tours assumes no responsibility for passports, visas, private authorizations or other documents necessary for entry or exit from the countries concerned, including the country(ies) where the carrier stops. It is our sole responsibility to consult and obtain information and documentation specific to your situation from the competent authorities, such as embassies, consulates or ministries. You are strongly encouraged to consult the www.voyage.gc.ca website in order to inform yourself and comply with the entry and exit requirements of your destination(s) and any stopover(s). Some countries require proof of vaccination. Please ensure that you comply with the health requirements of your destination(s) and any stopover(s).
A parent travelling alone with a child under the age of 18 may be required to submit a written affidavit signed by the other parent authorizing the child to travel.
18. Travel documents
Approximately 10 days before your departure date, you will receive your travel documents including the time and place of your departure, the program, the list of hotels, general documentation provided that the full payment is received.
Make sure the name on your travel documents is the name on your passport. The traveler is solely responsible for having all the necessary and compliant documents to travel. Please carefully check all the information contained in your travel documents, i.e. airline tickets, vouchers and other documents provided. Please report any errors or discrepancies on the travel documents received immediately. Fees may apply to change your travel documents.
Travel documents are non-transferable and are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer and the suppliers of products and services involved in the delivery of the services.
19. Confidentiality
The travel agent observes confidentiality principles regarding the personal information provided by the customer.
20. Change and/or correction of occupancy and/or name and/or destination
Change in occupancy: If changes to room occupancy are made by one or more guests, prices will be adjusted to reflect the actual occupancy of the room. For any changes made, please refer to the "cancellation fees" section. It is the responsibility of the traveller to provide the information as indicated on his/her passport (first and last name), at the time of booking.
Name Change: A name change will be treated as a cancellation and will be subject to applicable fees.
21. Responsibility of the traveller
Any passenger who signs up for one of our trips accepts TC Tours's terms and policies. In the event that a passenger conducts that is detrimental to other travelers or service providers and despite a formal warning from one of our representatives he persists in his conduct, that passenger will be automatically expelled from the trip. All his costs and losses occasioned by his conduct will not be reimbursed. In addition, travellers are responsible for being healthy and self-sufficient enough to undertake their journey and bring a sufficient supply of all necessary medications and carry them with them at all times. We reserve the right to ask passengers about their physical condition. We also reserve the right to refuse registration in certain packages where a good physical condition is a prerequisite. 23. Complaint Resolution
If your trip does not go quite as planned, you must first refer to your local guide, tour leader or representative at the destination who will have to note and confirm the dissatisfaction.
