Greece Vacation Packages with Flights from Toronto

Greece is a natural fit for Toronto travellers looking for a European trip that goes beyond one city. Our Greece packages from Toronto are built for independent travellers: you get flights, hotels, transfers and a checked bag in one straightforward package, but you set your own daily pace. Many multi-city options also include intercity transportation by ferry or domestic flight, and some include sightseeing components such as a guided Acropolis visit.

Departure airports: Toronto (YYZ) is the primary departure gateway for these packages. Most Greece itineraries from Toronto connect through a European hub such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam or London, with total travel times typically ranging from 12 to 16 hours depending on the connection and routing. If you are travelling from a nearby Ontario city, please call us as we can price connecting options.

Popular itineraries

Athens works well as a standalone city trip or as a starting point for island hopping. The most popular two-centre combinations from Toronto are Athens + Santorini, Athens + Mykonos, and Athens + Crete. For travellers with more time, the Athens + Mykonos + Santorini three-stop itinerary is consistently one of our most-booked Greece packages.

Where to stay (examples)

You will see packages grouped by area:

  • Athens: Plaka/Monastiraki (historic core, walkable to the Acropolis), Syntagma (central, near parliament), Kolonaki (upscale neighbourhood), Piraeus (port area, convenient for ferry connections)
  • Santorini: Fira (main town, caldera views), Oia (famous for sunsets, quieter pace), Kamari/Perissa (black sand beach villages)
  • Mykonos: Mykonos Town/Chora (windmills, central, lively), Ornos/Platis Gialos (beach-focused, more relaxed)
  • Crete: Heraklion (capital, near Knossos), Chania (Venetian harbour), Rethymno (smaller town with a good atmosphere)

Weather and when to go

Spring (April to early June) and fall (September and October) offer warm temperatures, smaller crowds and better hotel rates than peak season. Summer (July and August) is the busiest period, with Athens reaching 32 to 34C. Ocean temperatures in the Aegean peak at around 24 to 25C in August and September.

If the goal is sightseeing in Athens, May and October are ideal. If the focus is beaches and island life, mid-June through September is the right window.
