Rooms were clean, staff very helpful. wonderful location. You didn't feel like you were staying in a very large complex, staff seemed to appreciate your business. Maid service was excellent. Elevator service very efficient and never crowded and no long waits.

We want to thank the Grand Hyatt for their hospitality during our stay. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We loved the added bonus of having money to spend in the market everyday! We will definitely stay again.

Staff was extremely unfriendly, it was odd and disappointing. Wifi is NOT FREE. The reception told us it was, and then there was a charge each day when you signed on. We had to argue to have it removed. Clean hotel though, family acceptable. Small rooms. They decorated for Christmas while we were there though and it was beautiful and festive.

Our stay at Crowne Plaza ran without a hitch. My daughter & myself stayed 5 nights & enjoyed our stay, room always done up while we were out, everything supplied, friendly staff in hotel. We enjoyed using lounge area, lots of security around, especially in the evening. Check in desk answered any of our questions, doorman got our cabs right away. So close to walk to Broadway shows & restaurants.

Great location, exceptionally clean, would definitely recommend. The Grand Hyatt was likely one of he best hotel experiences that I have ever had. Within walking distance of all the main attractions in NYC.

Very clean comfortable beds, very friedly and hepfull staff, overall a great experience. Walking distance from time square and everything else, very accessible, it really played a big part on our great time and experience on mine and my daughter mini vacation, we felt very safe and welcomed

The Hotel Edison was quite nice. The rooms were a bit dated and could use an update but suited our purpose! The location is excellent and was quiet for sleeping. Getting around from this hotel was quite easy. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The doorman was amazing! He got us back to the airport swiftly and easily during the UN Summit that made getting around a nightmare! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We had a great experience with our stay at the doubletree hilton hotel. Right at check in John I believe who helped us out ay front desk informed us that our tv was down. Not thinking anything of it or even making a fuss (we were thinking we are in nyc to explore the city not watch tv) he gave us a voucher for a free breakfast for the following day. ( super impressed already with the hotel not even there for 10 mins). At our breakfast the wait staff were all amazing polite smiling helpful plus breakfast was delicious. Our room was a basic hotel room but we didnt need anything fancy as we were exploring the city. We just put a do bot disturb sign on our door so the maids didnt need to bother but even when we walked to our room in the hall they offered us fresh towels for our room. Another shock how great the staff were. All the door men were amazing smiling helpful with getting us a cab. Helping us with the subway trains to take to get to our destination wanted. Aldo was one name that stuck out to us he helped us out that afternoon with directions resturant recommendations etc but we didnt arrive back until much later. After all the faces that man sees everyday as soon as we walked up he truely genuinely wanted to hear about our evening adventures in the city. High fived us and everything 😀 All and all amazing vacation and experience for our first time in NYC the hotel is in a great location. When we do return to the city we will be staying at the Doubletree again.

This place was great, our travel agent helped us tremendously in finding this new york city gem, we loved our stay and tg the hotel upgraded us to a balcony room with free champagne bottle and snacks to congratulate us on our honeymoon, great location and great time, thanks for helpling us book our stay,

We booked thru trip advisor and we were really excited as it was for our 20th wedding anniversary. We booked a king room with fridge and microwave. We had contacted the hotel and made sure that if we paid in full with tripcentral before we arrive there would be no other fees. Upon arrival the hotel looked fantastic ! It's big clean and beautiful. Concerige helpful perfect location to go anywhere. However we did not get a fridge or microwave and we were told we had to pay $25 US per day for a destination fee. This seems like a scam but they say it's mandatory in NYC ?? They should advertise this on tripcentral when we book that we will have to pay extra fees in $US upon check out.

This hotel's best feature is its location ... just steps away from Times Square. We were very pleased with our room, ease of checking in/out, concierge services, and the friendliness of the staff. The only suggestion I have to the hotel to improve our stay is to equip our room with a small fridge.

Hotel was amazing! The Service was excellent. Also room very spacious. The dining was to die for! We where right in the middle of Times Square perfect for shopping and site viewing... And the late night dessert @ Carlos Bakery...

The room was smaller than expected with no view, but can expected with an old hotel in mid-town. Everything was clean, comfortable bed and the staff was pleasant. We were only in the room to sleep anyways, so the small room really didn't have any impact. Overall good experience and would return to the hotel.

Excellent service, clean rooms and friendly staff. Concierge and hotel security were very helpful and had great tips for touring and transportation. There were 3 of us staying in a room and the hotel was aware but only 1 set of bathroom amenities. Had to ask each day for extra shampoo. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

This is my 2nd review. I just went on the website The Roosevelt and it reads "Free" wifi. We were told it was a cost!!!This is my 2nd review so most of my characters are in the first review. Would stay there again great location.

We had checked our baggage for a late departure. One of bags had a fragile sticker on it and we asked them to please be careful with it. When we retrieved our bags one of our pieces of luggage had a wheel broken off of it and the bag marked fragile had another heavy piece of luggage on top of it. We were quite upset that our item was damaged. The baggage guy took our name and room number and said we would receive extra points (whatever that means) but that was the only thing that was said. No apology was given and we did not see any sort of resolution. Our item was damaged but it didn't seem to matter. We did have a great stay and loved the location but was disappointed in how this matter was handled. Thank you.

Nice hotel, great location, 1 block from Times Square, centrally located to lots of attractions! Room was clean and chambermaidb service was great! Never tried the restaurant but looked nice! only complaint would be that a fridge in the room would be nice, no where to keep drinks cold and if you have leftover food which we did no where to keep it! There is bar fridge fully loaded but you can't take anything out of it or you will be charged! Staff was friendly and helpful if you had questions! Oh and a pool would be nice after walking around New York in the hot weather! But no big deal!

Our stay at the Roosevelt hotel was great no issues at all, staff was nice helped you get directions around the city, room was clean and tidy. Small but that is expected for a hotel in nyc. Never ate at the hotel so can't say about the hotels restaurant.

Beautiful hotel, clean, stylish ,staff super friendly and helpful . Location excellent , close to grand central station. Park avenue location quieter than other hotels on busier streets. Had a view of Empire State Building. Room nice size . Wine hour and flavoured water that's available really nice . Coffee shop had great coffee (free in morning)!!! Tavern had nice atmosphere and good drinks!! Would stay again in a heartbeat!!!

We had some trouble with the room, but the roosevelt gave us all a free breakfast. Everyone was friendly and the resort was clean. Close to everything on Madison ave. Everyone had a great time and we want to go back.

This hotel is great for anyone who wants to be close to Midtown attractions. It's located just blocks from Times Square and 5th Ave. shopping and within walking distance to the best NYC sightseeing. It's also connected to Grand Central Station for travellers arriving by train. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant within the hotel offers delicious food!

It was a very nice hotel but our needs were not met due to the fact that we called months in advance to request a higher floor away from the street since I have sleeping problems - only to find out when we got there that we were placed on the lowest floor right above the street. When we asked the front desk worker why our request was not met she said "we take requests very lightly at this hotel." I couldn't believe what I was hearing! They said there was no chance of us being able to move rooms. This really ruined our entire trip. I'm sure if our requests had been taken into consideration we would have had a great stay.

Great location but this hotel could use some help. Concierge was never around and the hotel restaurant was absolutely atrocious. They did "last call" at 10:30 on Friday night, despite the fact the place was packed and guests from the hotel were still coming in. Come on guys - its NYC ! Especially funny all the staff at the hotel suggested we go to O'Hara's across the street, which was excellent. The Marriott Sr Management need to take a look at the contract with this restaurant and get a new owner that caters to the guests. Room was okay but put fans in the bathrooms.

The hotel was great. they found out it was my milestone birthday and that night when we returned from a beautiful day of sightseeing and a show, there was a chocolate piece of cake (delicious BTW) and a bottle of red wine with a note from the operations manager wishing me a Happy Birthday. Very nice touch. We did have difficulty with the TV set (which was quickly repaired by a technician) and there was no Hair dryer in the bathroom when we arrived, but they quickly sent one up when we called the desk. Location was great, walking distance from everything and public transit close by. All in all a truly great first impression of New York City. More than I expected.

The hotel was very clean and friendly service. Just our floor for the whole 4 days did not have ice in the main ice machine area. I complained and nothing was done. I had to go on the floor below to get ice. Also, our room pass/key magnetic strip was canceled after three days at the hotel. The night Manager was trying to fix the problem. Thank God we had adjoining rooms with our friends.

We visited New York for Five nights and six days using the Marmara Manhattan as our base. It was our first trip to New York so we planned a lot of sightseeing and Broadway shows. We had an apartment with one bedroom,full kitchen,living room and bathroom. You could have made all of your meals there. The staff cleaned everyday,made the bed, loaded the dishwasher and replenished basic supplies like tea,coffee,soap,shampoo etc. I forgot my phone charger and the front desk staff loaned me their personal charger and then found one for me to use the next day. It was a $30taxi fare from LaGuardia airport by yellow cab..took maybe 10minutes. Doorman met us and took care of our bags, concierge and front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. There were three laptops in the foyer to use and we had no problem getting wifi on our iPad in our room. It's located on the Upper East Side and is a few short blocks from the subway at 104 and Lexington. We bought a $30 ..7 day pass and travelled by subway day and night. We are in our late 50's and we had no problem with this. Also , everyone was very helpful often offering advice if we looked confused and when asked we always got a great response from everyone. We were pleasantly surprised by this. We often got back to the hotel late at night after a show and walked the few blocks back to the hotel and were met with the doorman and front desk staff. We ate at Nicks Resaturant across the street and enjoyed it. We also bought breakfast foods at the place across the street as well as beer,milk ,water etc.they were working on the street in front of the hotel when we arrived on a Monday afternoon but we never again witnessed any work and were never awakened by work noise or road noise. We were only on the fifth floor and didn't use our balcony. I think higher floors would have a great view but we did not spend any time sitting still....unless we were sleeping. It was close to Central Park,Museum of Modern Art etc..easy walking distance. We purchased a package which included our return airfare from Our local airport in Nova Scotia Canada and five nights and were happy with what we paid through trip central. We enjoy staying outside the central city area and this was a quiet neighbourhood with lots of shops and nice restaurants with seating inside and outside, local pubs and was not crowded like uptown, downtown and Times Square. We loved those areas but also loved getting away at the end of the night. In fact, at 11pm they were using jackhammers in Times Square!! What a racket!! Had an excellent stay at the Marmara Manhattan!

Definitely worth staying at this hotel. Staff were very accommodating upgraded us to a higher floor for waiting for our room. Concierge was helpful in selecting a restaurant. Rooms were sleek and clean. Would stay there again next time I'm in new York. Right at times square.

Located three blocks from the Empire State, this hotel is perfect for all the tourist stuff to see and do in Manhattan. Rooms have been renovated and are small, but well appointed- Starbucks is out the door and around the corner on Park Avenue for morning cafe. Great Irish pub directly across the street with great food and happy hour specials -wine $5 as opposed to $15 per glass

First time staying at Yotel, very easy to find. Bright purple sign that illuminates the street as you get close. A robot to stow away your luggage if you need to wait for your room. Self check in and out, and a common room for coffee/tea. Comfortable storage spots in every room, and a heated towel rack for after the shower, amazing.

Room, service and bar were fantastic. The location is amazing. The service was quick and friendly. Pablo at the bar is magnificent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The value is great and we will be returning.

Everything has been in order since day one of our stay. Wifey and I were treated respectfully by the staff and the breakfast was really good. Room service was excellent too..Will definitely stay again in this hotel when i get to visit New York again. Everything is just a walk away from the hotel..

Our room was charming, clean and well appointed. Good staff. Piano bar was fun and breakfest in old tea room was very good. Prices reasonable. Easy walk to Central Park, subway, and anywhere in Times Square. Will go back again.
