The place is very nice, clean, and well-suited for a family vacation. I would suggest that the hotel consider including breakfast for guests, as many hotels typically do. It can be inconvenient for guests to wake up and be faced with an unexpectedly high cost for breakfast.

My husband and I, both seniors, just spent two weeks at this resort and highly recommend it. Although it is not new it is very well maintained. Our condo was roomy, beautiful acacia furniture and lovely ocean view. The location is perfect. There is a major grocery store across the street, 2 bakeries a short walk away and a large food truck park (12) next door open nightly so need to cook, great variety of choices and reasonably priced. The resort was quiet and peaceful and staff were very helpful and always friendly.

The immediate impression of the hotel is very nice but once in our room I was very disappointed. The Diamond Tower is in much need of updating. The room was also disappointing especially the bathroom. For the money that was spent I imagined a much better room. The $50.00 a day resort fee plus taxes was excessive for not getting anything. $100.00 to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for the beach again excessive. Meals were expensive and mediocre at best. They had a band at the Tapas Bar that played nightly from 7- 10 pm every night and it was loud and quite frankly not very good , especially when you are trying to get some sleep at that time. Rented a car for two days and had to pay parking of $70.00 for one night. We felt like it was a money grab every where we turned on the resort. Definitely would not recommend this hotel for vacationing.

You hear screaming at all hours of the night from bums and tourists. Hotel itself is ridiculous we were charged a smoking fee when we were not even in the room and had to show picture proof to reverse the charge.

Ground public, close to the beach. The personnel is is kind. The dining area is clean. The view is great. The service is great. In fact, there is not much to complain. We had found some little bugs on the first day, but they switch us to another suite right away. it's amazing!

It's a very good hotel. The service was good.The only thing, one of the beds had thermites. But the service came and change the hotel room for us right away and issued a credit. Besides, everything was clean. About the breakfast, the only problem is they gave the same food everyday. There was no variety.

Employees take pride in their workplace and take good care of it. The pool and patio have lots of sitting and lounging chairs, towels are plentiful and continually replenished. The attached restaurant offered a good variety of food and made sure that food was not taken to the pool area. Pleasant open sitting area with specialty coffee shop in lobby.

This was our first stay at the Aston Waikiki Sunset. When looking for an affordable condo hotel in the heart of Waikiki, look no further than the Aston. We had an amazing view from our 33rd Floor oceanfront, one bedroom suite and a fully stocked kitchen. This hotel offers the amenities of having a full kitchen to prepare your own meals while enjoying all the rest that Waikiki and Honolulu have to offer. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of surf while enjoying our coffee on our lanai where we ate all of our meals. The suites are spacious and clean. Yes, there are waits for the elevators at times, particularly when you are on a higher floor and the common areas and hallway carpeting are starting to show their age but the rental units, such as our's, are fine. They are clean and well kept with housekeeping offered every 3 days. Definitely this is a good choice for those who want to stay in Waikiki at a reasonable price. Plus the resort fee is relatively lower than other hotels in Waikiki.

What a fabulous value for money. Great location a block from the eastern edge of Waikiki beach -perfect for swimming in the breakwater area! Walking distance to all Waikiki attractions and gorgeous view of diamond head.

We loved everything about the resort.The ground were amazing The room was comfortable and well apointed. We enjoyed our time very much and can't find any thing negative to say. It was definitely a five-star experience.

We had such a good time at this hotel, this is a village as you can tell by the name so it’s full of shops and restaurant around the hotel and the atmosphere is very inviting. Staff are great, beds are super comfortable. The beach is beautiful and the location is perfect. The only downside is that the rooms are a little outdated, but in this case I didn’t mind at all as everything else was perfect.

The hotel staff were very nice but the carpets are old and don’t look clean. I found cockroaches on my bed.Not too happy about it and came home and found one in my suitcase.We were not told that the room gets cleaned every 3days.The water sometimes in the shower was not hot enough

The Hotel was very clean, great breakfast every day and a very helpful staff at every level. The pool was closed but we were given beach chairs and beach towels to use free of charge. Melanie at Tripcentral was a great help for us since this was our first time going to Hawaii. She is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She made some great suggestions which we did follow. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with kitchen and lanai. The suite was spacious, clean and had everything you would need. The bedroom and lanai faced the ocean where we often saw Humpback calves breaching. There are several BBQs in a covered area by the pool which were cleaned daily. The staff were courteous and helpful. We had only two issues. We had reserved this suite 7 months prior through our strip Central agent. We were suppose to get a king bed which we never received. They stated we could have one but no sheets guaranteed. Odd so we declined. We said that we made the reservation months ago and couldn’t understand why we didn’t get a king. The other issue was the hefty cleaning fees. Over $600 CDN. I don’t understand this cleaning fee now that COVID isn’t such an issue and that the fees should be worked into the pricing. This wasn’t an inexpensive stay. We didn’t receive a deal. Our agent was excellent and managed to have the fees reimbursed. We did t get overly upset. We loved the resort. We just didn’t feel that these fees should be extra. As well, our agent and ourselves were not aware of these fees prior to booking. We new a few Resort taxes would need to be paid. Other than that, be aware and ask questions prior to booking. It is a fantastic resort and Maui was beautiful to explore.

We had a lovely, relaxing seven nights at the Alohilani at the end of February. Wow, was it a windy week, but otherwise it was delightful. The pool bar area is spacious and comfortable, and we spent more time there than at the beach (remember: windy!). Like a lot of Waikiki, food and drink can be a bit pricey, and the resort fee is also fairly steep (US$48 a day). But the rooms, services and amenities are all very good, and the huge lobby oceanarium is a great touch. We ate lunch twice at Momosan downstairs, and it has as good a poké and ramen as anywhere on the strip.

We debated between the Monarch with kitchen and a regular hotel set-up. Having been to Maui, we knew eating out is very expensive so we chose the Monarch. We were hugely disappointed with the room they first assigned us (terrible!) and got a new room the next morning luckily with little fuss. The second suite was still dated and the mattress literally on springs but the kitchen was functional and less scary. If not for the fabulous view and nice staff, this place would barely rate a star! The windows are cheap so you hear everything even 28 floors up and there is a lot going on all the time. Location is only a couple blocks from the beach so that was good. We would NOT return!

We were happy with our stay at this hotel! Staff were helpful and our room was perfect for us. Staff wore masks at all times. Hotel is on busy avenue close to restaurants, bus stops and within walking distance to the beach. We would stay here again.

Great location, with walking distance to Waikiki Beach. Very clean rooms, Very helpful employees. After checking out, we got an hour access to the room, to refresh and get ready for a night flight. We didn’t use the hotel’s bar or close by Ihop restaurant, because there are so many other places to choose to eat. We didn’t use the swimming pool/jacuzzi- too small and we preferred the beach. Nice hotel, a little bit expensive.

The hotel is in good location. Clean and excellent service! Close to restaurants, shopping Center and bus stop. Walking distance to Waikiki beach. I would recommend this hotel even though the unit’s bathroom is a little bit small.

We stayed in Waikiki Malia by Outrigger for a week. It is an amazing resort. It is clean and quiet. Location is so convenient. It can reach to all parts of the city by taking the buses. The bus stops are close by. The people in the resort is very helpful and friendly. We will come back and stay for sure.

Staff at hotel were super friendly and went out of there way to help with any issues, was located in a very central location, busses and trolly's right on the side street, shopping and food everywhere, just a short walk to beach. Can't be more central than that, also streets were all kept very clean.

This hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location being at the end of the hotel strip on Waikiki beach and across from the Zoo. Right across the street from the beach and has 3 rentals at the beach shop each day included with the hotel fee. The rooms were average but the front desk staff were fantastic. It is a bit noisy due to being on the corner of two roads, but mostly on the weekend. The housekeeping on the other hand... When we arrived in our hotel room late at night, the faucets around the sink had not been cleaned of the beard hair shavings from the previous occupant and remained all over the back of the sink, into the sink and on the soap dish. It was immediately obvious so how it was missed by housekeeping, I do not know. As it was late, I cleaned up what I could with a tissue (gross) and first thing in the morning alerted the front desk. The front desk person was rightfully appalled and contacted the housekeeping department immediately. We went out for the day and when when we returned late afternoon, the bathroom had still not been cleaned. I had to go down to the front desk once again to request a cleaning of which it was eventually done. As you have pay an additional $50 a day on hotel fees once you arrive, this was pretty unacceptable. No compensation was offered.

Easy stay. Rooms are updated and clean, hotel has great location. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Staff were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again. You get free entrance to the museums for staying here. Parking is $30 a day.

The hotel grounds,lobby,restaurants were very good. The hotel room was very tired. There were numerous paint chips out of the wall that were very visible. Considering the premium you pay at the resort the room should reflect the price/value . The bathroom door handle and light switch by the bathroom were also loose. The sliding door to the ocean view also scraped as it opened and closed. These all are easy fixes with normal care and maintenance. If this reflects other rooms, the rooms need an upgrade. While the room was below average, we did enjoy the stay at the resort.

This hotel was quiet. Rooms were clean and pleasant. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It uh s centrally located, across from a mall and a block and a half from a grocery store. Rates were reasonable and parking rates were very decent. The pool was clean and had plenty of sun. The grounds were very well kept and not too busy. We would stay there again.

Hotel is a small village with lots of opportunities to spend non sense money In it! And starts from the check in with an unusual resort fee!!! Which nobody tells u in advance even your travel agent and that is somewhere between 35 to 50$ USD pernight per room and that covers nothing other than WiFi!!! Which is also fairly slow but usable. Restaurants are so pricey and junk. You will not get any good food with a fair price in hotel area. The rest of the stuff obviously are expensive! Like liquor ! You buy drinks in groceries in village with the price of Bars! Hotel is old and dated but clean enough. Service is okay, customer service is fine like Hilton but no room service for food or drinks. Beach towels are included in your rooms but the umbrellas and beach chairs! Wow 50 to 70$ a day!!! Unbelievable.

We really enjoyed our 11-day stay at Kaanapali Beach Hotel in Maui in December 2019. The hotel, the grounds, and the staff were wonderful. The location was excellent—right on the beach, close to Black Rock, Whaler’s Village, and a short distance to Lahaina. We regularly used the walking path along the shore. At this hotel, we experienced warm Hawaiian culture and nightly hula entertainment. However, the food prices were a bit high there and throughout Hawaii, It would be a good idea to include a simple breakfast plan, even a continental type of breakfast. We enjoyed the luau, whale watching, and a Hawaiian Airlines trip to Pearl Harbour. Thanks to Our travel agent, Tina, for advising us that a week wouldn’t be long enough.

Pool, tiki bar, right on the beach. What could you complain about? The front desk staffer responded all very friendly and helpful. They helped us upgrade to the 24th floor with a great view all the way to the Hilton lagoon. We could watch the sunset from our balcony every night. Happy hour every day from 2:00 - 5:00 with $5 margaritas. Again, can’t complain!

We visited at a time when renovations were underway, so elevators were not working, dining options limited and some construction could be heard. There wasn't anything done for guests to compensate - reduced rate, perks, etc. however. This resort is beautifully situated, but a bit tired and really needs the upgrade. Staff were friendly, and room was very clean. Grounds and landscaping also needs an upgrade considering the price. We found the $34USD per day parking fee high, and added $31USD daily "resort fee" frustrating - at least the resort fee should have been taken off due to the renovations. The cost of renting a beach chair and umbrella daily was more than $40 USD per person. We have stayed at Hyatt and Fairmont resorts in the past and thought we'd give this a try, but it didn't measure up. Next time we would choose a different hotel.

This hotel is well located just a 5 minute walk to the beach. My room was large and well kept. Public areas were very nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming. There are three restaurants and an Aloha Coffee. There is also a convenience store with a friendly staff. Around the corner is a public laundromat. Bus stop is one block going Diamond Head and to Ala Moana Shopping Center. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is great for anyone wanting to be close to everything! Rooms are a bit small all have a balcony, coffee maker microwave, and fridge. Hotel staff very friendly and always willing to help. Pool is small but not crowded and Great to cool off in. Continental breakfast is included as well as a safe in your room. The hotel offers free beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards to take to the beach.Very expensive to rent at the beach 30 dollars for 2 hours. Hotel also offers free shuttle to the shopping centre. You can also book your excursions here which we did and had no problems getting what we wanted. We would stay here again in a minute!

We stayed at the ilikai hotel and suites for the second year. We love that the resort is close to a lot things. Catching the bus or trolley is right outside the door. The beach is beautiful and not overcrowded like Waikiki beach. We will definitely come back here again. Thanks to Karol for his help in booking and providing information that we need to know.

It was very cozy and enclosed and the fields were spacious. Service was nice and Golf carts were always on time! I don't have anything more to say because the hotel was so perfect! (Also the beach cabana had everything you need)

This resort was a quick drive from the airport in the luxurious town of Wailea! The resort was spacious and clean and very family oriented! Lots of indoor and outdoor space in the condo. We loved how quick it was to the beaches and dining! We would highly recommend this resort and would return!!

Have stayed at this hotel many times now and find it affordable with all the comforts of home. Staff are friendly and helpful! There isn't a restaurant on site, but many in the area. The only thing I am not happy about is the amenity fee, but all the hotels seem to charge for this. I look forward to returning in the not too far future.

Loved our stay. Upgraded to deluxe ocean front with view of Diamond Head as our room with 2 beds was unavailable so they put us in a king room - we were thrilled. Infinity pool is phenomenal and every staff member that we interacted with in the hotel was friendly and courteous. We would definitely return.

hotel room was nice size with king bed and full modern kitchen. would stay again in tower 1 room 2504. the toto toilet seat was a surprising bonus. warm when seated and washed everything. lobby a little dated but clean

Hotel was very clean. Rooms may be a bit dated but had everything needed and were well taken care of. I would stay there again. Kitchenette was great. The staff at the front were friendly and helpful.

The resort was nice for the most part. We had a loud air conditioner outside our window but you get what you pay for!! Breakfast buffet was not good. Hotel that we were booked into for our layover was a smoking room we did not have a pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location across street from Waikiki Beach. Clean everything worked well in the room. We were given an upgrade to select ocean view room and a later checkout as our flight was late at night. It could use a bit of freshening up, but all in all we love it and the staff as well.

Very central to beach, shopping stores etc. Wonderful hotel with great free breakfast. Rooms were clean comfortable,very generous would stay there again. Had a great experience at Hawaii for my first time with my two little kids and the hotel was a big part of it.

We stayed at the Aqua Bamboo for a week while exploring the island. The location was perfect. A short stroll to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The building is small but quaint with all the basic amenities: comfortable beds, a pool, hot tub, beach towels, beach chairs, and coffee in the lobby. Great value! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Oahu! Can’t say enough about the staff, they were wonderful!!!

We loved it here! The grounds are beautiful,scenic,lots of birds in trees ,clean.Lots of shops in it to suit all needs.Staff is so friendly ,helpful.We had baggage not show up for days and staff was always updating us and watching for it .When it did come they let us know immediately. We booked a tour and golf through them and PJ was very helpful.He handled it all and it was great.We were warned about erosion taking much of the beach area which was true.However most beaches on the island had the same issue.We did see huge amount of whales on this beach tho and enjoyed great sunsets etc. There are stores and grocery store across from resort and bus access so great if no car.We had a condo with fully equipped kitchen so great if wanted meals,cold drinks ,etc Rooms perfect,huge king size bed.Housekeeping was spot on. When we had to check out they let us know since not leaving until transfer that eve that we could hang out there,use pool,showers etc until we left.Left bags there while we spent the day ,until transfer time .Wehad a great experience and would def return to this resort!!

Hotel was older but clean. Great location to everything. Initial room was a bit on the small size but we upgraded to a larger room at a small cost that suited our needs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was provided with the room. the breakfast was the exactly the same everything single day. After 10 days it got to be a bit much. Some variety would have been nice.

The room we were in had such an amazing view, like wow! Each morning, around 7, we watched whales come in and out of water. We also saw turtles from the living room sofa. The room itself is very spacious and was kept clean by the friendly cleaning staff. They also gave us a video card so we were able to watch new movies at night. I absolutely loved the experience my hubby and I had when we were there.

The beach in this area is very nice and it has a great boardwalk to walk along the coast. I'd recommend a car to be able to see other areas of the island as most things are quite far and uber is pricey. Unfortunately there is no gym on-site and everything in the area / on Maui is expensive, but the staff were very friendly.

Our family just spent 7 wonderful days at the Disney Resort in Hawaii and it was amazing, everyone was so happy and helpful there, and our ocean view room was amazing. I would recommend this resort to any family who is thinking of going.

The washrooms are quite disgusting. Broken tiles, missing grout. Scared to stand on the floor. The Westjet vacation people are put in the worst possible rooms. You cannot open the so called balcony window as they look directly onto the next door hotel large fans. They sound like a jest taking off. Pillows are rock hard. Management did not care.

The whole experience was very nice, staffs are friendly and facilities are accessible. Premium location and nice view of the beach. the rooms are bit out dated, need renovating, not dirty but just old interiors.

Very clean and lovely hotel, perfect location for all our endeavors around Honolulu and beyond . We loved the Wednesday receptions in the lobby, Getting free rentals of movies or games to occupy the more chill days. clean pool that was fun to swim in. Great room with a beautiful view of diamond head and the ocean.

Aulani Disney Resort was a wonderful experience staff was excellent . Enjoyed our visit and met with family members. The scenery was amazing we had a wonderful view from our room . The food was good and catered to your dietary needs .A wonderful resort for all ages will definitely go back in the future

We stayed at Ilikai Hotel and Suites for our Honeymoon, the view was amazing from our room, it had a full wall to wall Oceanview through huge sliding doors to a big balcony) and had a primo view of Duke's lagoon and the Friday night fireworks. The Ilikai is great value for its reasonable cost, fully updated modern rooms with full kitchen, resort is beautifully taken care of, nice lobby and general store. Free shuttle service was a great addition to this place. They made our stay special by having champagne brought to our room on arrival and helped us with any questions we had about Oahu, super friendly staff. Maid service was also amazing, rooms are always clean and refreshed. So happy we didn't stay at the Hilton next door, very pricey and very pushy with their timeshares. You can't even get through the Hilton's lobby without being harassed, it felt like a cheesy place to be. So glad we chose the Ilikai instead, it has great history in Waikiki and has a classy timeless and homey feel, with a very relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful Resort, well kept. The staff were very friendly. The checking process was very quick. The Resort was about a 10 minute walk to the busy Waikiki beach and to the main shopping area. The resort fee was high.

We enjoyed our stay at Royal Kahana, it is an older building but suit our needs. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, grounds are clean and well kept. Our unit was clean and worked for us. Would definitely return.

Everything was amazing! Food, accommodation, grounds, pools, beach!!! The Disney experiences were magical & not overdone !! We truly enjoyed the resort & everything it had to offer! Some pluses - The Menehune experience. The lazy river, water slides, lagoon, The luau was magic - food was fabulous & the talent was AMAZING!! The staff - EVERY ONE- was so guenuinely happy & truly expressed Aloha!! We will be back!

The room had a view of both the ocean and the volcano. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. The grounds were beautiful. Hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. Very enjoyable visit.

resort was clean, everything you needed was right there, step out the open hallway right onto the beach, good food and drink, either poolside or beach side, nightly entertainment, well staffed with friendly helpful people, nice atmosphere to relax, or starting point for excursions, walking distance to shopping, off resort dining etc, when asked to join their discovery club, do it, the dining discounts alone are worth it and it's no cost to join

Great resort. Close to everything. Breakfast buffet was well done and fresh every morning. I would recommend this hotel/resort to anyone. The resort was doing a elevator modernization project and often times the wait for an elevator could be ten mins. Despite this. Everything else was fantastic.

The rooms were spacious with a full kitchen complete (with virtually all utensils, cooking basics, pots, and pans), pullout sofa, two bathrooms, and a seperate bedroom. Our particular room on the second floor had an extra spacious balcony. The hotel has two sets of pools though we really only used the main one you see in the pictures and the beach. It was great to be able to head each morning and hit the beach directly from the hotel (which provides fresh beach towels for you everyday.) After the day we were able to take the trolley to Whalers Village to entertain our kids (plus it's free). A few times we caught the short bus ride from there into Lahaina (only $2 per person) to enjoy the parks, shopping and eats.

The room we took was a partial view of the ocean room 593 but we had a spectacular view of Waikiki Beach and surrounding hotels. The rooms and balcony were just right for 2 people. Everyone is friendly, helpful and anxious to please. My mother and I stayed there for a week. The food in the dining areas are a bit pricey but good and plentiful. There are other restaurants nearby more reasonably priced for inexpensive dining, breakfast or lunch. I hope to come back to Hawaii again only in November next time when the trade winds and surfing competitions are on. We came in April had lovely weather at Waikiki Beach. How would I rate this hotel, 5 star all the way. By the way we booked with tripcentrall.ca and got an excellent package deal.

Everything was clean, very nice grounds, well kept. Very close to beach, shopping etc.. Good news and bad news, good family spot. Way too many screaming brats. Complex was very clean and easy to find your way around. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Complex was built in early 80's and is in need of major renos, in and out.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Kamaole Sands and we like it for its location as well as the grounds. Its located between Lahiana and Kahului so its in the middle of everywhere you can go on the island. Everything at Kamaole Sands is very clean, lots of barbecues for people to use, pool, hot tubs, and you walk across the road and can lay on the beach or snorkel with the fish and turtles. We have stayed in other places on Maui but this is the best and we will be back again.

We thought the room we had was good and the Wednesday evening with drinks and food was enjoyable. The coffee in the morning was also good. The only problem I had was that I did not get my messages when my cousins and also my friend's nephew phoned several times and my friend in Vancouver called 3 or more times until finally she told the front desk to put a note under my door.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, located on the beach right at the break walls. Close walk to the Zoo, bus stops right at the hotel. Very nice view from the balcony. Complementary chocolates at check-in a nice touch. Check-out is at 11:00am, and with our flight at 10:50pm, bell hop services will hold your bag for the day, and hotel offered us their complementary hospitality room which offers TV, computer, a washroom and shower facilities to freshen up before our flight. This allowed us to visit the zoo on our final day, and walk the strip one more time after checking out of our room.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Luana in Waikiki February 28 till March 7, 2018. I will stay there was absolutely amazing we could not have been any happier. Upon arrival we were greeted with many aloha’s as well as a very quick check in. We stayed on the ninth floor our room was very clean and the maid service was outstanding we had a mini kitchen suite which was absolutely fantastic so we could cook our own meals and not spend so much money in restaurants. Our hotel have a pool which was nice to take a dip in on those hot days that we did not want to spend time at the beach, we also had a laundry facility there which was also great so that I could get our laundry done before packing up and coming home. Overall I would most definitely stay at this hotel again and I would recommend it to anybody with family or without family even seniors would have a good time at this hotel. I think everybody for their generous hospitality while we stayed there. Mahalo new friends and hope to see you again

The hotel staff were fantastic. We arrived after hours and they were accommodating and very welcoming. The concierge desk was helpful in setting up shuttles and renting a car. The grounds on the hotel were so well kept, clean and inviting. There was a balance of lush tropics with the beachfront which was also very clean and well maintained. The resort was family friendly as well and our 2 year old daughter had a blast swimming and looking at the fish. We ate at a couple restaurants in site which were really good, but be prepared to pay! They aren't cheap. Overall great experience!!

Through tripcentral.ca, I and my wife just came back from Honolulu, Ohana Waikiki Malia Hotel. The location must be one of the best in that area. Waikiki beach is right there, all tourist spots there in walking distance, all kinds restaurants around there. Ala Moana Beach Park and shopping Center can be reached by Trolly Pink, which is free by the card of Ohana Hotel. About the room we occupied, it was a right size clean suite room. the kitchenette and a mini refrigerator wored well. Bath room things were in a good condition. we drank tap water directly, whose taste was great. Working personnel there were all kind and quick responses in all cases. But one thing during a sleeping night, there were sudden noises, which were big enough to wake you up. those seemed to come from upstairs. If we come back to Honolulu, we will choose this hotel, and would like to recommend this hotel to others.

We really enjoyed our recent family vacation at Disney Aulani. The hotel is very well kept and every staff we encountered was very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. As far as dining, Ama Ama was a nice restaurant with a great view, but it was pricey and we weren't happy to pay the automatic gratuity with our party of 8. While our server was friendly, she was not very attentive and it was disappointing given we were there celebrating my daughter's birthday. Makahiki was fun for the character dinner, but we felt it was overpriced at $52/person (including my 10 year old), we just didn't feel the value was there. Ulu Cafe was great for a quick grab and go breakfast and lunch and the poolside cafe was decent. We would have liked to have a "middle of the road" dining option for dinner. Thankfully, there are a few options outside of the resort within walking distance. The pools were fun and we spent a lot of time on the lazy river. The beach was beautiful and it was a nice surprise to be able to borrow sand toys and boogie boards for free! Our favorite feature of the hotel, hands down, would have to be the scavenger hunt...what a fun interactive activity! We hope to visit the resort again in the future.

The Ilikai hotel was great! We stayed in a luxury junior suite with ocean view and it was definitely worth it! We enjoyed our large balcony the most but the kitchen was handy to have. The grounds were pretty and the hotel was very clean! There’s a great coffee shop right in the hotel and a restaurant with great breakfast! The only complaint would be that the pool area could have more chairs available. Each time we went to the pool there were no chairs left so you wonder around until someone leaves which doesn’t always happen a few times my husband and I sat apart at the pool because of the lack of chairs. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and things to do! Would definitely recommend this place to stay!

The resort was very family friendly, well laid out and the room was excellent. The food at the restaurants was very good and we enjoyed having lots of lunch options. The beach toys and boogie boards were a great bonus for the kids.

Overall Average Likes: Our room was very spacious and included a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen was amazing for making breakfasts and snacks. The hotel includes facilities to rent cars, book tours, rent dvds and video games, a coffee shop, a restaraunt (not that good), and a convenience store with basic necessities, some food items and souvenirs. The beach is accessible within a 5 minute walk. Dislikes: Booking tours at the hotel was a disaster. Each booking agent that we consulted with gave us conflicting information and did not provide a high level of customer service. The location of this hotel was so-so. After walking around, I wish the location was more central on Waikiki beach. Instead, this hotel is situated more on the end.

Spent a week at this resort. Our first time in Maui. Loved loved loved it! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our whole family enjoyed the on resort classes (lei making, hula classes etc). The evening hula shows were also wonderful and a much better choice for our young kids vs an expensive luau. The kids loved the pool, played checkers every day and swam from the beach out front. We found the 10 minute walk to Whalers Village perfect for breakfasts and dinners. Nothing but great things to say! Feel like we were truly immersed in Hawaiian culture and will recommend this hotel to everyone. It isn’t the Ritz but has a warm family vibe that can’t be beat

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maui Eldarado resort. The condos were very spacious and was well equipped with all the utilities and well maintained. The view to the garden and the ocean was very scenic. Special thanks to the resort staff who are very polite & courteous. We were very happy with our stay at the resort and will surely recommend it.

Hotel view of the ocean was great, location was central and close to the beautiful town of Lahaina, service was great and staff were very friendly and helpful, beaches were fabulous and lots to do in the area

Beach front hotel is centrally located with the beautiful private sandy beach and perfect little cove where snorkeling is one of the must thinks to do. Hotel is very nice and the staff very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and a daily swim in the swimming pool. We will come back again in the future.

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and very helpful, the lobby was very clean and had a warm feeling as you enter the building. It was bright clean and more than enough staff to help you feel as family. There was laundry room on the Sixth and The Thirteen floor which also were very clean, Our experience was very good and we would defiantly stay there again.

My wife and I have been to Waikiki a number of times - most recently this past July ( 2017). While there are other hotels that sit directly on the beach, in our opinion, there is no other hotel that gives you grater value for your money than the Park Shore. It has an ideal location across the street from the beach and beside the Honolulu zoo and Kapiolani park. There are lots of amenities next to the hotel like the pool, Starbucks, Lulu's and a Japanese restaurant and of course the ubiquitous ABC stores. The hotel also features a surf shop as well. My wife and I really enjoyed going for walks at nearby Kapiolani park and having supper at the Barefoot Beach bar café where you can breathe in the salty air of the ocean and watch the amazing tropical sunsets. The hotel itself is very clean and very well kept. The lobby has nice tropical flower displays and we really liked the openness of the space and floor to ceiling windows that let in so much light. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly both at the front desk and the cleaning staff. A nice touch since we were last there is the free wifi in your rooms and the beach towel and chairs the Park Shore makes available. We will be returning to admire the views of Diamond Head and the vistas of the blue Pacific ocean you can see from your room. We recommend the "ocean front" rooms - well worth the extra dollars. All in all a great tropical bang for your buck !

Perfect for our family of 3 (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 Balconies with views of the pool, gardens, mountains and ocean). We took advantage of the kitchen facilities and huge living room. It was a nice touch that the condo included beach chairs, umbrella, etc. There were 3 gas BBQ's in the pool area. A number of beaches and many Restaurants were within walking distance. We definitely recommend this property (close to Wailea plus a short drive to Lahaina and the other attractions)

The Grand Wailea is absolutely beautiful. We were greeted with Lei's and the entrance was incredible. The gardens throughout the property are well maintained and so pretty to walk through. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade to an oceanview room for an additional $50 per night and we decided to splurge. We had a huge bathroom with a separate shower and tub. The balcony had a double lounger and we had a beautiful view of the gardens and sunset each night. The property is very large and my only complaint is that it was extremely difficult to find chairs by the pool. What we did instead was get chairs and umbrellas on the beach as those were included in the resort fee price. The service at this property is amazing and I liked that they always had at least 3 or 4 people at the concierge to help you. We were able to snorkel a one minute walk south of the beach and swam with 6 turtles at one point and saw some beautiful fish. The breakfast buffet is quite pricey and you can walk to the shops at Wailea for other breakfast and dinner options. The grab and go café was also a great option and close to our room. Overall, it was a fantastic room and property and a trip of a lifetime!

I personally work for a major hotel brand so my expectations were high and doubtful. First time in Maui so didn't know what to expect of the "Condo Resort" lifestyle and my expectations were completely exceeded to say the least. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see that the front desk was closed! We arrived very late, after 11pm so this was a little startling. However, they do have 24 hour security staff so we were directed by signage to call and wait for the associate to give us our temporary keys until we could formally check in the following morning. We booked a One bedroom ocean view suite and the unit was beautifully appointed with traditional Hawaiian luxury. Although the property itself is older, the unit has been nicely kept, with new appliances and probably the nicest patio furniture in the whole building. The kitchen was outstandingly well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised by all the extra amenities we didn't expect including the slow cooker, rice cooker etc. All the items you wouldn't think you would have access to so this was a really nice bonus. All the extras allowed us to prepare a lot of meals in our room, keeping the overall cost of our trip low. Our suite was located on the second floor which provided a great view of the courtyard, koi fish ponds, pool and of course, the spectacular view of the ocean. There is really no bad view in any room at this property but you never know what to expect with an "ocean view room" as some hotels market their views this way even if its only a partial view. Our room was fully stocked with all appliances including a washer and dryer which was a nice bonus! Only two downsides were: No full size bath tub and the hotel in general was not overly sound-proof as there were some noisy kids in the unit above us which made for some very early mornings as we were woken up by their excitement. Location in Kaanapali was GREAT, close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and attractions, very very convenient. Staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. As the resort is not truly full service (no on-site restaurant or fitness centre) they do provide some favourable alternatives to not having some of these options. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered complimentary Yoga-lates on the beach in lieu of the fitness centre and they also through a mai tai party for all the guests to come and have some beverages and snacks. Overall, we were thrilled with our stay and will definitely be back!

Hotel and my package were good, Air Canada delayed for 6 hours and when I asked for a blanket on the plan they told me I need to pay 7 USD.Overall the hotel and the service was good and we had a good time.

Aston at Papakea The Ocean view was amazing from our room and the area where the resort is located was great to be near Lahaina the one bad thing it was like i was in my great-grandmothers apartment it would need some remodelling and you can't walk in the ocean from the apartments theirs a rock wall.

This hotel was perfect for my 3 year old daughter. She loved the lazy river pool. The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful. The Sheraton has the best beach in Kaanapali - great for scuba diving, wading, and shelter from the sun. We had the breakfast buffet one day and it was excellent!

We found the resort absolutely beautiful. So clean, the room was a five star. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Everything was what we expected ******************************************************************************

My husband Brian and I had the pleasure of staying at Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki April 19-29, 2017. Newly renovated rooms, friendly and informative staff free wifi, non smoking. Housekeeping was excellent. This hotel has a Spa, Spada restaurant and a lovely landscaped pool area. The Bus stops right in front. Any excursion buses are available a block away in front of Ross', all trolley routes at the Galleria are 1/2 block away. Beach is 2 blocks away and International Marketplace is close by as is the Royal Hawaiian Center. Area is abound with restaurants and shopping for any lifestyle. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would not hesitate to return. Kathy & Brian Kent

This place had everything you needed, right from restaurant's to beach blankets. The staff were there for your every need. The shopping was within walking or if you wanted they also had a courtesy car that would drop you off or pick you up 5 stars.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and we couldn't ask for a better hotel for our budget. Our room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious and the location was great. We enjoyed the valet service and the hotel staff were all friendly and accommodating. We stayed on the third floor so we could simply walk down the hall to breakfast every day. We could easily walk up one block and take in all the sights on the strip every evening. The only thing I would change is the coffee. They serve Seattle's Best, when Kona Coffee would be a better local choice.

Room no.433 assigned to us was spacious and clean. Infact, sometime we could get the room cleaned in our presence. Balcony was overlooking terrace restaurant and swimming pool. Breakfast although with less variety but was sumptuous. Wind played the spoilsport for the breakfast as food particles were strewn everywhere...it appeared totally unhygienic. All the hotel personnel were very friendly and served with smile. Location is excellent although not on the beach. Pick up and drops were convenient for sightseeing. Overall value for money spent.

We had lovely time at the Hyatt. The hotel is located right on the beach which was very convenient. The pool area is very nice but quite busy. Staff were very pleasant. However we found the resort very expensive and there were a lot of additional costs.

We enjoyed all the amenities Aston Maui Hill had to offer. The grounds were very well kept which made it very enjoyable sitting on our balcony. The condo was kept clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed being close to the ocean and away from all the busy tourist areas.

Having stayed at a variety of places at different places in the world, there was nothing about this resort that I would recommend. Pricing was extreme to say the least, and the state of repair of the room wasn't very good and not attended to after letting them know of the issue. Beach was non-existent, weather related apparently, which I understand can happen, but the price should be adjusted accordingly. We traveled there with another couple and they agreed that the rating for this hotel would be about a 2. Resort fee didn't seem to have any value other than wifi which is expensive. Front desk staff not overly friendly, didn't even ask how our stay was when we checked out. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and I wanted to form my own opinion, however, other negative reviews were pretty spot on. The other point worthy of noting is Trip Central's gimmicky $100 prepaid card, it wasn't usable at any of the places we were at on this trip. All in all, a pretty disappointing use of my money with all of the choices that are out there.

The Garden Cottages were very clean and had lots of space. We were close to the beach and had a lovely patio to sit out in the morning and in the evening. Mauii is a very beautiful place. The food was the only thing that was not so great.

Quality room. Nice restaurant. Good food. Nightly live Hawaiian music. Good beach. Helpful staff. Hospitality suite access to help get ready for late flights after checking out. Good gym. Free exercise classes.

We had an Aloha Garden Cottage Rm (spacious with two queen beds) ground level with a beautiful golf crse view off our patio. Great showers! Easy quick access to the pools and ocean sandy beach. Super beach fun had by all. Restaurant, Cafe etc all very handy. Your normal coffee machine and small fridge in rm. Staff Super friendly from the time we checked in to the time of departure. Terrific time.
