The Pineapple Beach Resort is a beautiful smaller property with a gorgeous setting directly on the beach. The grounds are well kept. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The beach is very nice and well maintained. Plenty of beach loungers. Three pools are clean as well. Fresh beach towels offered every day. The à la cart restaurants were good. The buffet offerings were plentiful and the food was good. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. However, we did encounter a few who seemed “ bothered” when we asked for a drink and some are just downright rude and never smile. Overall I would recommend this resort. We did have a great time!

What a wonderful place to spend a relaxing week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wished we had booked a few more days. The resort is beautiful, charming, and well maintained. We chose a waterfront-view room, and it was absolutely worth it. Each morning, we enjoyed watching the sunrise with a coffee on the balcony while listening to the soothing sound of the waves along the beach. The food was consistently excellent, with a great variety of options and quality throughout our stay. What truly made the experience memorable, however, was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive, always going out of their way to ensure guests felt comfortable and well cared for. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

We were there for two weeks in early April. Absolutely a beautiful resort!! It's a smaller resort (128 rooms) with the traditional wooden buildings in lovely pastel colours. We chose the "waterfront" room (2nd floor) and it was worth the extra money. We were maybe 30 feet from the ocean and slept every night with the AC off, patio door open and listening to the waves. We saw very few bugs and no mosquitos. We could have kept the screen door open!! The temps were low 80's every day and low 70's at night. Always a nice breeze blowing. A couple of short rain showers but nothing to ruin your day. The food was the big surprise. It was very good whether you ate at the buffet, a la carte restaurants, snack bar grill or up on the hill top BBQ location. We had no stomach issues at all during the 2 weeks we were there. The drinks are delicious and bartenders are talented. The drinks are strong and they do not skimp with the alcohol!! They serve locally made beer at the resort (Long Island Brewery) and I was worried because we are true Canadian beer lovers. It was not bad and somewhat similar to a Canadian lager. My husband drank it but I decided since we were "all inclusive" to drink the fancy drinks that we could not afford back home. The service was always good and the people of Antigua are very friendly and hard workers. There was always something going on at the resort (day and evening) that you could participate in or not, or just watch the fun. The evening entertainment was usually pretty good with some nights being better than others. The clientele was mostly Canadian, UK or American and I would say age 45 and up with most being in their 60's. By 11:00pm, most were heading off to bed. There is no one of the beach bothering you to buy something from them and the other half of the beach is "public". We walked down to the end of the public beach every day and always felt safe. (The cruise ships brings people to this public beach to spend the afternoon.) Lots of people snorkel at this end of the beach as there is a reef out front. We would wade out at the very end near the rocks and see LOTS of tropical fish!! (We brought some tropical floating fish food that I got at Wal-Mart.) There are a few "resort cats" at the resort (taken care of by the resort coffee shop ladies) and we enjoyed interacting with them and we are "dog people" lol. We actually brought some cat treats to feed them as recommended by earlier reviews. The cats do not bother with people unless you invite them to. The resort water is excellent to drink. You must bring your own refillable bottle and there are water filling stations in several locations. All in all, our vacation at this resort was amazing and we will definitely return. NOTE: Be prepared to pay a daily $24 resort fee and a daily $10 tourism fee when you check out. This daily $34 fee is in US dollars and must be paid and is NOT included as part of your vacation booking price. It adds alot to your vacation cost, particularly if you are Canadian. We were aware of it before hand and factored it in to our vacation budget. Unfortunately, this is becoming the norm at many resorts and hotels in Canada and the US. ANOTHER NOTE: Because the resort in on the eastern side of the island, it is vulnerable to sargrassum seaweed. They would clean up the beach every morning and some days there was none and other days there was some. You can not control "Mother Nature" and when we were there it was not bad at all.

The staff, hotel, food are are excellent. This is our 2nd year at this resort and it never disappoints. The daytime games are fun and inviting along with the nighttime entertainment. We will be back again.

We love this resort. It is clean, the rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds and pillows, beach is beautiful (especially with the new lounge chairs), the food is consistently good - in any of the restaurants and the staff are the best! This is a smaller resort so it is quiet. There is no issue with making reservations at any of the restaurants. The entertainment is fun and interactive. All of the staff from groundskeeping to the resort manager make it a point to say hello. Donna, the resort manager is there from breakfast until the entertainment at night is well underway. She can be seen clearing tables, showing people to their seats, speaking with guests and seems to have a great rapport with the staff. Egbert is a hands-on food and beverage manager and no job is beneath him. He is where he needs to be and helping to keep guest happy during their breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Housekeeping does a great job at keeping the rooms cleaned and well stocked. I love that the towels are in a cabinet on the beach and constantly stocked so you can quickly change out wet towels for dry ones through the day. We highly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a small and quiet place to unwind. You will not be disappointed.

First of, Shannon is an amazing travel agent - she is very helpful and knows what we are looking for. The Pineapple Beach Club was amazing - great food, beach was amazing (Atlantic Ocean), small resort, not too big, no children and, above all, the staff were awesome. We had a marvellous time - ticked off all the boxes.. We were there for Xmas and what a blast that was.. I cannot get over the quality, variety and quantity of food available.. was scrumptious! Thank you Shannon!

Just came back from Pineapple Beach Club where we spent 10 days. We loved the atmosphere of PBC, very chill! The resort is quiet with no loud thumping music but rather a very relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort. Even in the evenings, there was some simple entertainment, and it was leading in to Christmas so much of the themes were related to that. But the entertainment shut down around 11pm, there were only a few times that we made it that far! The resort was recently renovated (some rooms) and everything was clearly given a fresh coat of paint and sprucing up. The resort was always clean and this included the washrooms by the pools, in the lobby etc. We found the service very good with only a few exceptions. We did voice our concerns and it was clear that our concerns were taken seriously. This is not a place where waiters come around and serve by the pools (maybe once a day) but we didn't mind this. There was always a bar close by and you honestly need to get up out of your chair once in a while and stretch your legs! We spent most of our time at the main pool but did chill at the Turtle Pool a couple of times. Very quiet there but there was still a bar! There was an Aquafitness class each day in the main pool which I took part in almost every day. We had an Oceanview room which meant an upward climb (path or stairs) to our rooms but we used that as a way of knowing we were getting our exercise (~65 years old). If you have mobility issues, these are not the rooms for you. Our room was quite large and simply but tastefully appointed. If we had a complaint, and we knew this before we arrived, is the lack of bottled water in the room/fridge. We found out part way through our time that for $70, you could get a (one-time?) allotment of soft drinks, one bottle each of red and white wine and water. We had brought water bottles down with us and we filled up from the ice water containers at the bars before we headed up to our room but it still was a bit of a nuisance. We had no issues drinking the water and my husband also drank water from the tap. There was never a time where we found a single tap, toilet or anything out of order. The water pressure in the shower could have been better but it wasn't terrible. We enjoyed the food. You could always find something at the buffet. We did go to the Outhouse for lunch (loved it!) and the Pineapple Grill and Chef Pietro a la cartes once each. Portion sizes at the a la cartes are smallish but that's not unusual. If we were hungry after, we dropped in at the buffet for an extra something. We did not try the Orchid. The staff at PBC were lovely. All very polite and friendly, too many to try and name them all! But thank you all for your welcoming spirit and great service. We like a good beach walk so this beach was a bit short for us. However, the views were lovely as they were from our Oceanview room and the Outhouse! We did scope out the PickleBall and tennis courts and also the gym (which seemed well equipped) but did not make use of them. Antigua is a relatively expensive destination from Canada but the price point for PBC is better than some of the more well known chains. For our budget, this made it possible to give Antigua a try, and so from this perspective, it was fairly good value. This resort is not posh, but we loved it for its simplicity and chill environment. It clearly invites similar minded guests, many of whom return there many times.

Returned to Pineapple after a 7 year break vacationing in Mexico and Dominican Republic. So glad I did. The resort is just the perfect size and has a beautiful beach for swimming and laying about. I love that you can eat and drink next to that beautiful ocean. There is always a breeze so none of the oppressive humidity common in other vacation spots. I also love that you can snorkel off the beach and take Hobie cats for a sail. We stayed in a Pool Terrace room which was just fine. Close to everything. My only complaint is that pool waterfall is too noisy for an enclosed space and don’t book these rooms if you aren’t used to sharing a queen bed! All the staff are great and the food is good especially the Outhouse BBQ and the snack bar pizza.

Pineapple Beach is a beautiful place located on a beautiful beach! The food was plentiful and delicious. The resort's vibe is relaxing and chilled. We stayed at an Ocean View room 900's which gave us an excellent water view but there is a "bit of a walk and stairs to endure" if mobility is a concern. We have been beachers on many wonderful beaches-and this hits as one of the best for us. This resort is a definite place that has returning guests and now we know why! We would definitely return and recommend to couples.

The Pineapple Beach Club is a beautiful resort with incredibly kind and helpful staff as well as great food and lovely grounds. The beach and surroundings are gorgeous! We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely book again in the future!!

The staff and service is outstanding. They are friendly and extremely accommodating. The grounds are immaculate. Wherever we ate, it was simply delicious. The nightly entertainment was engaging and very talented. The daily activities were fun. We truly had a wonderful vacation. Thank you.

The staff and cleanliness was top notch. Had a wonderful time!!!We met so many Canadians and had fun dancing every night!!! Music was so fun!!! We would come again to the Pineapple resort as it was an amazing time!!!

The hotel is very well laid out & compact. You can walk to all main areas in a 2 minute walk. Golf cart shuttle always available to take you up the hill to The Outhouse, the lunch bbq area, but also walkable for most. My room was in good condition with coffee maker and bar fridge with water. There are three bars, an infinity pool, a large pool and a smaller pool in a quiet area. The food at this resort is of good quality and lots of variety. There are 3 a la cartes, but in reality, only 2, as they charge $40 U.S. to go to The Orchid ( the steakhouse). I feel this is unrealistic after having already paid alot of money for this "All - Inclusive". Also, you had to line up to reserve the a la cartes, and you could only book 48 hours out, so first two days you are there - not available! And if you didn't stand in line by 8 a.m. for 8:30 am opening at guest services, you didn't get a reservation, or they only had 8:30 pm available. I don't like to stand in line on my holidays - a waste of my precious time away. Apparently, they are in the process of changing it - let's hope ! The resort has many activities - you can be as busy as you want ( volleyball, ping pong, pool table, aqua aerobics, yoga, bingo, scrabble, a library and a good selection of board games) The staff were amazing, very friendly and happy - especially Ashley, bar areas and Anika, guest services. My only disappointment was the snorkelling - I chose this resort because I was told the snorkelling was good - it was not - it was just basic.

We loved our week at the Pineapple Beach Resort. The beach was very nice although not very long. The pools were good. The service in the buffet was okay, some waitresses were not as friendly and our dirty plates were not taken away very quickly. The food was good. Cleaning services was every other day which was okay however, towels and bottles of water were not replenished to what was in the room on the first day we arrived. We would prefer either a garden view or beach view next time as there were lots of stairs to climb! Chairs seem to be saved very early around the pool and on the beach. Hard to get a chair on the beach under the palm trees. There were some dead spots on the pickle ball courts. Overall we would definitely come back as we had a great time.

We enjoyed our easy access by TripCentral's suggestion of Waterfront rooms (509), and their help in making all our travel arrangements. Were advised by Melanie to take $125 USD - appreciated by many staff, and used freely!. Main area quite noisy with varying games in afternoon, and noisy, heavy beat music every evening. We were about the oldest there (86 & 87) - so all activity was geared to "40-60 yr olds, who were the majority We still enjoyed the beautiful beach to walk, , a kayak use, and wonderful temperature and sunshine every day

We loved absolutely everything about our one week stay there. We will be back to Antigua for sure, but for longer next time. The newly renovated beachfront room with private balcony was perfect, the jewelry making, walk to Devil’s Bridge, coffee shop, floating island rings, the ribs at the Outhouse, White Night, the food at Pineapple Grill were all standouts for us. Every staff member we met were super friendly and always there to help. Thank you all!

Even though this is only a 4 star hotel, it was by far our favourite vacation ever. It is a quiet and intimate resort but still fun and entertaining. The staff? Wow. Friendly lovely and so helpful. The food was plentiful and delicious and the location stunning. Loved my quiet times all over the resort but especially from my balcony overlooking the incredible views. It is not glam and flashy so if that is what you want, don’t go ( leave it for us!! ) and if you read negative reviews ignore them. Some people just complain about anything. As I said it’s not glam or luxurious but why do you need that when you have this paradise to relax in. You will feel at home here and not lack for anything. Definitely going back next year!

We stayed at PBC from Feb 1-8 and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. This is a smaller resort with a beautiful beach. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The rooms are dated and could use an update. The food is good, we especially enjoyed the Outhouse, Pineapple grill and the Pelican snack grill. The staff were really amazing, attentive and very friendly. A big shoutout to AnneMarie the fun team manager who is a real firecracker and always engaging the guests in a variety of activities. We really enjoyed the pool exercises and the evening entertainment! This is a very relaxed resort, no need to rush around to reserve pool or beach chairs. We would definitely recommend this resort if you’re looking for a low key adults only experience.

The grounds, pathways, facilities and food were tremendous! The beach was glorious! The room was very basic but fine. I loved the low, more intimate style of buildings and the activities were fun too!

This was our third visit to Pineapple Beach and the restaurant(s), cafe, bar, entertainment and watersport staff were just as lovely as in the past. The beachfront setting and small feel of the resort are definite attractions and the food and dining services were excellent. I have to say that I was very disappointed in the lack of recognition and responsiveness from reception personnel and in our room overall. When booking my room I had hoped for waterfront as we'd been in those on our two prior visits and preferred them but they weren't available. As such I selected a pool terrace room fully knowing that I wouldn't have an ocean view but anticipated trying something different in the quiet pool area. We arrived in our room after dark and did not have a good opportunity to see the area but immediately noted that the entrance to our room was beneath a stairwell. Upon entering our room there was no recognition or welcome for us as returning guests which was a surprise as this is typically standard. In the morning we struggled to open our drapes to let light in and once we were able to slightly pull them open our limited view was of fallen foliage, the back end of wooden stairs and there was no sunlight. To say it was a disappointment is an understatement. This was not a terrace or patio that anyone would sit out on and the two chairs and table were of no benefit. I did attend reception to request the opportunity to obtain a change or upgrade fully anticipating that a cost would be attached but was told there was nothing available across the resort. I was disappointed and proceeded to make the best of it as I was celebrating my birthday while there. This disappointment turned to frustration after I was told by a couple of other guests on resort that they'd requested room changes and they were accommodated. In addition, we struggled to obtain hot water in the room and had a tap that would not turn on in the bathroom. After a visit by maintenance we were told that we needed to let the water run for awhile prior to showering and the tap issue was just not fixed. I spoke with another repeat guest who was familiar with and had stayed in the terrace room block and they noted that this issue was present across the section. Given the issues with fresh water access across Antigua I do think it is highly problematic that a block of rooms must let showers run for 5-7 minutes before hot water becomes available. I hope that management takes the opportunity to address this as I'm sure something can be done to assist with flow and help to reduce this waste. I am uncertain if I'll visit Pineapple Beach again given my dissatisfaction with my recent stay but trust that my experience is not typical.

Pineapple Beach Club is an excellent place to relax , unwind and be treated well. The staff were helpful, friendly and well trained. Our accommodations in Building #1 was clean but dated. Excellent location close to the beach with a magnificent view of the beach and ocean. Food options were good and the bar was well stocked but I did not like many of the mixed specialty daily drinks. I would recommend this resort for a well deserved vacation and getaway.

Loved the proximity to the ocean in a waterfront room and they have stunning views. Some bathroom updates would be helpful. Staff are very friendly and want guests to enjoy themselves. A la carte booking process could be improved as having to line up every morning at 8:30 AM is not how you want to be spending vacation time. Highly recommend their Calypso Cat excursion. The crew were fantastic and the snorkeling was incredible.

The grounds were stunning, well maintained. The food was very, lots of variety. Lot’s of choices where to have dinner. Room was good but too many steps to get to it. Will look at alternative view, next time. The staff was beyond incredible. All very friendly, helpful and courteous. The island is beautiful.

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at your wonderful resort. From the moment we were arrived, we felt special. You have a lovely property and exceptional staff. I would like to complement a number of people starting with Ann Marie who met us at guest services just after we arrived, and remembered our name throughout the entire stay. Dionne was responsible for cleaning our room. We were in room 831 and never had any concerns. The view, air conditioning and Wi-Fi were exceptional and the room was always clean. The staff in the main dining area were lovely. I can't say enough about them from the moment, we met Joyce at the hostess station to various people like Carissa, Kevininya, Stacey Anne, and Arlene it is easy to see that they take pride in their work and making everyone's stay exceptional. I'd also like to compliment Ash, whose energy was really special Suzette at the bar always greeted us with a smile, made sure we had lots of water. Also the duty manager Charaine arranged for both Shawlawn and Taylen show us some beachfront and garden rooms which we are or hoping to enjoy our next visit. Bobby and Alvin were fun at the activity center and took us out on the Hobie cat and we enjoyed some snorkeling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended your property to our agent upon return. We have traveled a lot and appreciate the effort it takes to attract, train and retain superior staff. Well done!

Pineapple Beach Club was amazing! The environment was so relaxing and easy-going. If you are looking to chill out, not feel stressed, and just unwind - this is the place. I never felt rushed to grab a spot at the pool or beach like other resorts - never felt rushed that I wasn't going to get a reservation or miss an excursion. The resort is small enough that there are prime spots at all times of the day which is perfect! The grounds are amazing - clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and always willing to make your stay just a little bit better. Great adults-only resort. Not a lot of nightlife, if that is what you are looking for- however most guest gathered after dinner at the main bar and chatted the night away. We stayed in a garden view room - which to me was better than the ocean view rooms as it was more centralized. The water looks like a post-card - spectacular- highly recommend!

Walkways were uneven, steps to our Beachfront room were crumbling, finishes inside the room were poorly done. The room was small and the drawer to a night table wouldn't open because furniture was in the way and could not be moved elsewhere. The bed had squeaky springs. The window in our shower backed onto the vendor huts and watersports area, so it was strange hearing people talking and loud music in our bathroom, but there was no way to close the slatted window. Housekeeping, which was to be done every 2nd day but was only done twice while we were there, and only because we complained when the service hadn't been done for 3 days or when we needed fresh towels. Once, only 1 set of towels was delivered instead of 2 sets and the dirty towels were not collected. There is no excuse for that poor service. The ocean was a refreshing treat from the 28-30 degree weather we had all week, with only a couple of little showers lasting only a few minutes each. There was a public beach in sight and if swimming there, could find sand bars to walk on. The hotel left round disc-like rafts in the water for guests and they were a challenge to get in and out of, but lots of fun. There were 3 pools, one of which would be difficult to find if you did not take the hotel tour. They were all lovely. We dined at all the restaurants and had no complaints about the food or service. There is also a snack bar by the largest pool, and they were continually busy in the afternoon, serving such lunch items as Tacos, onion rings, chile dogs, burgers, etc. Our favorite restaurant was the Outhouse (yes, that's what they call it) up the hill, serving amazing bbq chicken, pork ribs, fish, corn and other goodies (salads and desserts). A reservation is not required at the Outhouse for lunch, but is required for dinner. It's a great spot to view the resort, day and night! We brought our own markers and were able to sign a wooden board with some of our details while there. We sampled homemade ice cream from the coffee shop and purchased souvenirs from the gift shop and vendor huts around the corner from the beachfront rooms. There were nightly activities and some during the day as well. Karaoke night was super fun! Guests from the sister-resort, the Verandah, often joined in on the nightly activities! We had one dinner at the Buccaneer restaurant at the Verandah - the food was not as good and the wine was served warm (ick), and you had to get motored in and out as the Verandah is quite hilly. The resort offered excursions, as did the various airlines. G-Man and Marvellous Marvin also do excursions and set up a table on the beach from 10am to 1pm every day. It's good to comparison shop. We used a taxi service to travel to Devil's bridge (although you could walk there), into St. John's to duty free shop (bring ID and your flight info), and took in the sights at English Bay. We went for R&R and got lots of that!! Staff and resort guests were friendly and easy to talk to - mostly everyone spoke English. There was a party on our last night - a Carnival - bbq dinner just outside of the restaurant area, and some local vendors showed and sold their wares, and a steel band played, adding to the Caribbean laid back vibe.

I could say that the name Pineapple is not reflected well on the menu as you will not find very often this fruit on the menu. Rooms are not clean daily and this is not for a 4 stars standards. Towels are changed at two days interval and when the time for housekeeping is coming do not be sure that is ready by the time you are coming from the beach. The good part is that the entertainment is not loud and you are finding very friendly personnel. On the beach are few vendors that sales local trips and gives you the impression that are hired by the hotel but is not. Very grey area as at some point is a liability in case that something happens.

Nestled on a quiet picturesque wide beach, the Pineapple provides a peaceful and memorable experience to its guests. This was our second visit to this small, well maintained resort. Lots of activities to chose from. Food good, coffee house, the best!! The dedicated and cheerful staff work hard to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. I was truly amazed at the stellar commitment to their work with nary a complaint. We had a great week in a beautiful ocean front room. On the downside, unfortunately, the Sargasso seaweed has reached its shores, but there was daily cleanup, and, as I understand, this is a minor problem compared to some other Caribbean and Mexican resorts where the seaweed is stacked up to 4 feet high! Would highly recommend the Pineapple. Excellent value for the price we paid.

Just returned home from one week at pineapple Beach. The resort itself was exactly what we were looking for that being small and adults only. The food was amazing everywhere we ate so compliments to the chef. I do feel that the resort needs a little TLC the grounds are beautiful and well-kept Beach chairs need to be replaced and cushions in the pool bar need to be replaced as they are quite grungy and no padding left. The size of our room was fine however it could use a little updating. No vanity in the bathroom was a pain not enough towels were left each day as well so I had to use my bath towel or a hand towel for my hair . Rooms were only cleaned and towels replaced every other day. I also feel that the pool should have been cleaned every day as the bottom got quite dirty .All that being said we had a wonderful holiday. The people were fabulous and there was a huge selection of alcohol to choose from and the wines were good. Bartenders are well trained and made wonderful drinks that you could enjoy without feeling they were too strong. Do I feel that we got value for our dollar maybe not but we will still go back to this resort again.

We vacationed at the Pineapple Beach Club from April 4 to 11 2023. This resort was recommended to us and we are happy that we made the choice to try it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The food was very satisfying and there were so many choices. We visited the Outhouse BBQ 3 times, twice for lunch and once for dinner. You have to experience it. Just fabulous. This resort was just the right size for us. Everything is close enough to walk to and with 3 pools, thereis always a place to relax and swim. The beach was never so crowded that you couldn't get a lounge chair. The beach was cleaned daily and the floaties in the ocean were a fun place to stay cool. This was our first visit to Antigua and the Pineapple and will definitely not be our last. We are already planning to go back next year.

Nice clean resort. Very laid back adults only. Food is good. Beach is a bit wavy because resort is on the Atlantic Ocean Side. Staff are very pleasant and friendly. Some beautiful ocean front and beach front rooms.

All aspects of this resort were amazing but we were not expecting all the added fees on top of the “all inclusive “ costs paid up front. There was the resort fee per day ($24), some other fee ($5) per day, a charity fee ($2) per day AND a room charge of almost $400 all in USD.

Staff kind and attentive , rooms adequate, ac worked, food good, perfect size resort, wicked tennis court, fun daily games, rum & beer delicious, and beach absolutely stunning. I recommend this resort!

This is our second stay at the resort. Everything was very clean and the grounds were very beautiful. The staff was amazing, especially Maritza Peter Suzette Jeremiah, and Dwayne. The food was very good but I just wish it was hotter. I intend to go back in the future.

The grounds are very well kept, very clean. The rooms are also very clean and spacious, our room was on the 2nd floor right on the beach WOW. We slept through the night like babies to the sound of the waves. Food 5 stars without a doubt, from drinks to breakfast, lunch, snacks to dinner not only was it delicious the presentation of the plates served incredible. Beach beautiful, we had a few days with too much seaweed and that was a little discouraging. But staff worked very hard to clean as much as they could, but it wasn’t enough. Cons: some of the local children & families would be near by and walk on our resort. Resort is for adults only. People with day passes were somewhat rude and loud at times.

The grounds are very well kept, very clean The rooms are also very clean and spacious, our room was on the 2nd floor right on the beach WOW. We slept through the night like babies to the sound of the waves. Food 5 stars without a doubt, from drinks to breakfast, lunch, snacks to dinner that only was it delicious the presentation of the plates served incredible. Beach beautiful, we have 4 days too much seaweed that was a little discouraging. But staff worked very hard to clean as much as they could up, but it wasn’t enough. Cons:And some local children & families would be near by and walk on our resort. People with day passes were somewhat rude and was so relaxing.

Overall enjoyed this resort - returning guest so familiar with rooms, dining options, pools and beach. Aware of "new Covid resort fee" in advance but given that no "extra" cleaning or protocols were noted, we were not happy about paying the additional charges on check out. Room was only cleaned every other day and I don't believe floor was swept until the last cleaning when I ran into housekeeping and noted the layer of sand on floor and in sheets. Many of the hand sanitizer units throughout resort were empty for our entire stay. Internet is spotty and does not warrant any additional charges. All staff had masks but 90% never moved beyond their chin. There were a couple of staff members we encountered that wore masks consistently over nose and mouth. The resort fee and government fee are in US dollars and added an extra $34.0 US daily to our bill with no additional services. In view of this we will be looking for a resort/island that has not adopted this practice. Would happily return if/when this resort fee is abandoned.

Maybe 2 years plus of Covid and a lengthy months long shutdown took its’ toll but we thought by now things would have normalized. For the most part staff were great. Reception staff didn’t seem to know how to resolve any issues. High turnover of staff and lack of training maybe? Reservation desk staff-disappointing. We have been here many times and see the noticeable difference. Coffee shop staff always great. Those we recognized from other visits were among the best and understood service. Would we come again ? Yes , just with lowered expectations.

The resort was perfect. perfect in size as we prefer smaller resorts. Grounds very well maintained, staff was very professional and always helpful. Our room was one of the beach front units, which is in need of some TLC but was well located for most of the amenities the resort had to offer. food was good, not once disappointed with what was available at the buffet or a la carte restaurants. Bar staff were very friendly and made sure those that were ahead of others were served before the pushy individuals were. Our experience was great, loved the island and will definitely go back.

Beach, grounds, hotel all great. Staff amazing! Some rooms a little dated. Clean rooms, beach,grounds and restaurants. Pineapple grill the best. Buffet was ok. Adult only is the way to go. Weather 27 and sunny every day. We will be back.

The resort was just big enough to enjoy nice entertainment in the evenings, not big line ups for food and the a la carte restaurants out of this world. Michelin star quality food. rooms could use some updating (beach front rooms) however, the cleanliness and location more then made up for it. Staff was cordial and resort grounds very secure and kept very clean. Can't wait to visit again

Grounds are well maintained. Service is excellent. Beach is very nice. Public areas are fine except for the main lobby, where most of the time terribly loud music is played and there is no way to have any conversation or relax there.

I can’t say enough about this resort. Fantastic meals and service. Beach front room could use some updating however the cleanliness and the sound of the waves hitting the shore all night more then made up for it, The Mid week beach party/dinner was definitely the highlight of our week stay. Will recommend this resort to friends and family

We were quite surprised to see that the resort was run down considering Elaina said she was just there. The staff was not friendly and the resort is better suited for people in their late sixties or early seventies as there was not much to do after dinner. Only 2 restaurants on the resort and food was a 5 at best. The weather however was fantastic. I would not return to this resort nor would I book another vacation with Elaina.

Travelled with 2 other friends for our 2nd holiday here. We loved it last year and decided to return. Lots of guests were familiar faces from last year. We actually had the same couple beside us again. We stayed in the beachfront rooms that were just steps from the beach. Some updates had been done to the room. Painted, new dresser and head boards. Location can’t be beat. Food is good and lots of variety. The street party was great. Steel band and lots of island food. They really do things up nice. Very laid back resort without all the glitz and marble. The staff is great and truly want you to have a great stay.

Nice smaller resort, everything easily at hand. Pools and beach close to each other. Beach and pool loungers were at a premium and not always available. The first day there we could not find one lounger at the beach or pool, all had towels on them but not necessarily being used perhaps due to unlimited towels available (no card system).Beach area is in a cove so small for a long walk but very clean. Drinks/cocktails were very good and presented with garnishes, . I found all staff sincerely friendly and helpful. Public areas were well maintained and laid out. Food was very good at the buffet with a cultural flare to most dishes. Snack bar food was excellent with burgers, quasadias , sweet fries, onion rings, ice cream. Service a bit slow but they were making everything fresh. We had a waterfront room with an awesome view of the beach and ocean with nothing in front of us but water, excellent! The rooms were adequate, not a lot of storage for clothes and bathroom not overly private to the rest of the room, but clean. We had a great time and were very satisfied with our stay. Highly recommend!

What a delight to be welcomed to a resort that had everything we needed - sun, beach, all the comforts of kind and caring staff, AND, most importantly, the chance to decompress from all the stress of a challenging year. From the moment we arrived to our last goodbyes, this resort enabled us to rest and recharge our batteries. The only negative that we ended up feeling is time went by much too quickly and next time we'll stay longer than one week!

room was clean but small, requested a King bed but the super saver room had a double. Lots of stairs, so if you have issues request a lower room. We were in the 308 which is up above the reception far away from pool beach and restaurants. Buffet food was good, lots of choices, we ate at the Pineapple grill once and loved it. Staff were all friendly and helpful, grounds were kept clean, beautiful beach. Would go back, but would suggest the Beach front or ocean front rooms.

Loved the food, loved the room and the workers were so friendly. Had a really nice 30th Wedding Anniversary. Thanks to one and all at Pineapple. Also, the beach were so nice and the sand wasn't hot to walk on and was really cushioned under your feet.

Wow! Where do I begin. We stayed from June 1st to 8th and it was our second visit to this amazing resort. My mom and I came last year at around the same time, and it has become our favourite place to destress, unwind, let loose, and build memories. The rooms are beautiful, the beach is beautiful, the food is absolutely amazing, but the people who work there are what bring us back. Every single person I met last year remembered me and they continued to be absolutely accomodating to our every need. I would firstly like to thank Kevin. Oh sweet Kevin. From our first trip to our second trip, he has been so kind to my mother and I and has gone out of his way to make every moment special for us. This year I celebrated my birthday at Pineapple and he and the staff (especially Natasha) made it something I will always remember. Even when I can be admittedly annoying after a few delicious cocktails, Kevin always has a smile on his face and is accomodating to my sometimes ridiculous requests (haha). I also want to give a special thanks to Natasha (the best bartender and person in the world!), Linroy (ocean licker), Tarron (one of the sweetest people I have ever met), Gerald, Fabiola, Dennis, Keen, Summertime, Borris and countless others who make Pineapple the place it is. I cried when knowing it was time to leave Pineapple again, but I know I will be back next year. Love and miss you all!

Pineapple Beach Club is amazing. The grounds are beautiful, the beach is incredible and the service and restaurants are great. There is a good variety of water sports and daily activities. Size of glasses for drinks at the bar could be larger and should be free WiFi throughout the resort.

We had a beachfront room, which was super close to the amazing beach. Our room hadn't been renovated yet, but still clean and comfortable. Our only issue with the room was poor lighting and the bathtub. The tub was in very poor shape with lots of rust and stains. There was no way anyone would be able to take a bath. We decided not to try and change rooms and just took showers with our flip flops on. The night time entertainment was perfect for us. Dj music, steel drum bands, singers, karaoke, etc. A good mix of everything. Usually ended around 11pm, which was perfect for us. One of the restaurants at the resort turns into a disco, I believe once a week. Never ended up going though. Service for the most part was really good. Very friendly apart from a couple of grumpy employees. The buffet was pretty good. A great variety of food. Our meal at the Italian restaurant was delicious! Pineapple grill was good too. We loved the outhouse bbq up on the hill. The ribs and chicken were really tasty. We ate there a few times for lunch. A bit of a nice breeze and a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach was beautiful. Clear water and no seaweed. Overall we really liked the resort. It was very relaxing for us, although there are plenty of activities throughout the day if you wanted to be more active. We would stay there again, but might wait to go back when all the rooms are renovated. Thank you so much Karol for helping me find a really nice resort in my budget. You seemed to know exactly the type of resort I was looking for. I will be calling on you to book for our next holiday.

This was our first adults only trip and first time away without the kids in over 18 years! It was beautiful :-) We picked the best resort for a very relaxing and laid back vacation. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the resort manager - Sanjay, was amazing! The whole experience was fantastic. The beach, the water hammocks, the snorkeling onsite, the Outback rib/chicken shack, the two a la carte restaurants, the daily buffet changed at lunch and dinner, the three pools (which we didn't spend too much time as we LOVED the beach), the waterfront room, the ocean at our feet, any drink you wanted, and a total laid back vibe. Do what you want to do, or don't do anything. No rushing, no lineups, no fighting for chairs... it was absolutely amazing!

Well maintained grounds, resort staff very friendly and helpful, good food and variety every day for lunch and dinner, good selection of local and international alcohol, clean beach, lots of activities available.

Pineapple Beach Club Antigua offers a very casual departure from the glitz and glam of the larger properties with the grand lobbies, marble etc. Much smaller and quaint resort with a true simplistic beach vibe. Intimate in fact. Small lobby bar comes alive a night! Great live bands in the evening! Karaoke one evening was off the chart hilarious. Highly recommend catamaran excursions. 80 foot power cat to Barbuda is breath taking. One quick trip to town to shop the markets was just enough. Would we go back? Yes. Preferably to enjoy with friends. Super casual and chill!

We were so pleased with this resort. First and foremost was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and dedicated to their task. No complaints whatsoever with staff, they all worked very hard to make our stay the best it could be. Even though the resort is older, it was very well kept, and staff worked hard to keep it clean. The main dining hall was open right onto the beach and with a gentle breeze blowing through most of the time, it was delightful. They had electric blinds that could be rolled down if it got too windy or cool. The little yellow birds flitting about could be a bit unnerving to some, but if you covered your drink glass with a napkin or plate while you were up getting food, no problem. The two a-la-carte restaurants were very good, although we only ate in there once each. The buffet was so amazing there was little incentive to dine out otherwise unless you were looking to be pampered a bit. The cooks do an amazing job with all the food. Very tasty and some local type foods available as well as all the regular fare you are used to. The 3 pools were well kept, but only open till 6pm, would have been nice to be able to have a late evening swim after dinner sometime, but I understand safety concerns as there are no lifeguards. Lots of off-site bookings/activities available, but you could not really walk to any of them other than "Devils Bridge" but that walk is a bit rough for anyone but those in decent physical shape. Just the gravel road in there is very rough. Water sports available on-site, SUP boards, one windsurfer, a couple kayaks, 3 hobie cats available all day everyday. Take the Catamaran Sunset cruise out St. James Club. The two skippers on the Catamaran will make sure you have a great time. Well worth the 80 bucks per person for that. Make sure you climb up to the top of the resort to have lunch at "The Outhouse". Quaint little shack of a place where they charcoal BBQ ribs and chicken and fish for lunch. Pour your own on-tap beer and soft drinks with some simple salads as well. The view is amazing from up here. So much to say, but I will sum it up by saying we would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I recently spent 11 days at Pineapple Beach Club in February. We loved the laid back atmosphere, the staff just couldn't do enough for you, the food was excellent especially Chef Pietros & the Pineapple Grill. The Outhouse was a great restaurant as well.The rum punches were pretty excellent too. The beach and the views just amazing. Antigua is paradise! My only complaint would be the fact that our room definitely needed updating although it was kept spotless every day!

This resort is in a great location.Beach area small but beautiful water and sand. Rooms dated but very clean. Food was good with lots of variety. Grounds were well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would go back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pineapple Beach Club. The resort is laid back with plenty of time to listen to the relaxing waves of the ocean without loud music. The water sports offered are fun including snorkeling and kayaks. Our room was up on the hill at the back of the resort and offered a nice private getaway after a good climb. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The drinks are delicious and creative and the food is very good. It is not a 5 star resort but the feel was perfect for us.

Pineapple beach resort was perfect. Very beautiful location and the food and resort was amazing. Secluded and private. Just what I wanted. Staff members were so friendly I would go back again and again

Although the resort could use some renovations, it was still beautiful. The resort was organized so that almost everything you needed was in one location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the buffet changed frequently so you did not have to worry about getting sick of the food. The beach was nice, although there was some weeds/plants that would wash up on the sand. Overall, the resort was great.

No wrist bands, no towel cards. Really laid back resort. We had a beachfront room that was steps from the sand and ocean. Room had not been renovated but it was clean. All tubs are being removed and replaced with walk in showers. Food was good with a nice variety. Make sure you try Mary’s Outhouse for lunch. The ribs and chicken are delicious and you might catch a glimpse of the mongoose. Now the staff. Amazing. Nothing was to much work for them. They just want to make sure your vacation is perfect. This resort is not for everyone. If you want the glitz and all night partying then maybe you should go elsewhere. I’d say the age group would be 40 plus. For us it was perfect. Sanjay you run a top notch resort. See you again.

We just returned from the Pineapple Beach Club Resort in Antigua and had an amazing time. The resort was wonderful and we had no complaints whatsoever. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. We would return to the PBC in a minute and likely will next year.

We enjoyed this resort and found the staff to be helpful at all times and friendly. We liked the amount of activities they provided each day as well. The buffet and the a la carte restaurants were quite good. The wine however was very sub par with our dinners. That is my only complaint. If we wanted decent wine we were required to pay for it in an "all-inclusive" package. That was disappointing. Otherwise, a very lovely smaller resort which is what we prefer.

The resort is great, it is small and easy to access everything no matter what room you are in. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, we stayed in super saver which had its own bar and pool which was nice as we were a group of 8 so it was like our own little party. Staff was friendly and it was nice that everyone speaks english. The food was delicious, different theme at buffet every night, the snack bar is delicious and the outhouse has fabulous ribs and fish. Nobody in our group had any complaints about the resort.....highly recommend it.

Hotel was great! Food was even better than we’d expected and the beach was amazing. We stayed in a beachfront room, which was so well located and just steps to the water. Bathrooms were in serious need of an update, but overall was an amazing stay and we would love to go back someday.

Just returned from a week at this hotel with my two grown daughters and a family friend . We loved the resort it was fabulous. The staff were very pleasant especially Nathasha !! The food was good and a nice beach with snorkeling right off the shore. A lovely quiet resort for great for relaxing .

The over stay was a 10/10. I was overly pleased with the grounds, service, food, rooms, drinks ect. There are no complaints here. My only recommendation is their check in process. For those arriving at 11am like we did, we were told our rooms would not be ready until 3 pm. This presented a predicament as we had to leave our luggage outside// in the lobby with no one to watch our belongings (everyone had access to everything). As well as we had to find a place to change out of our travel attire and into something more suitable for the pool area where we had to wait for our rooms to be ready. Other then the check in process our stay was 100% amazing. The rooms were kept clean, the public washrooms were cleaned hourly, the grounds were immaculate. The food was amazing, lots of variety for a smaller resort. You can use the Al a Cartes from the Varandah as well to provide even more variety. The beach and pool were kept clean (seaweed was removed from the beach every morning, and the pools were cleaned then as well). We payed 1300$ for this trip and I would say that is a fair price for what you get. I have seen the price increase to over 2000$ during certain times of the year which seems expensive, however anything under 1500$ for this resort is reasonable and fair priced. I would recommend this resort to couples (as it is adults only) looking for a relaxing time and or elderly people who need a smaller resort. ** Request rooms in the 100, 200, and 600's. The 800 and 900 rooms are on top of the hill, its a tad bit of a hike plus stairs, so more difficult to get to those rooms regularly throughout the day.

The service and food at the buffet was excellent. Staff was very accommodating. The BBQ restaurant up on the cliff was spectacular. The special restaurants were OK, I would stick to the buffet - lots of choices. The layout of the resort was easy to get around

Everything was great , we loved it , food was good , staff pleasant and customer servis great .we booked an excursion with Marvin you will find him at the buffet restaurant and we got a private taxi with a driver Charlie he showed us around this beautiful island it’s worth it . We also booked dinner on the hillside for our wedding anniversary it’s pricey but worth every penny , it was very romantic except a bit windy but gorgeous ocean view.

Just returned this week from Pineapple Beach. First time there and will definitely return. The resort is a nice size so you can get everywhere easily without having to jump on a golf cart. Great food, beach is excellent, staff are friendly, room was nice and clean. Going to miss our daily walk up the hill to the Outhouse BBQ, the food there was excellent and the views are great.

First visit to PBC but not to Antigua. Have stayed at two other resorts on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides. Positives: Proximity to airport, down from the main road, no traffic noise, beach and views, pelicans flying and fishing off the beach daily, floating ocean loungers in shallow water, and nightly entertainment. Beach had good swimming if you are like us, and venture in even when not green flagged. All sand, no shells or rocks, clear water when waves weren't too choppy. Beach was not particularly long for walks - could go down in back in 10 min if strolling. No hyped up dress code so yes it was laid back in that sense. (Husband appreciated being able to wear shorts to dinner). “Outhouse” had the best view of all. They had bottled beer as opposed to the main bar that ran out after our first few days and served only draught. Ribs and chicken were saucy and tender. Staff there were also friendly and nice. The rest may sound negative but it is our honest review of what we experienced. Room was in 500 ground level section (waterfront rooms). Central location and without the hilly walks. Fairly sound proof but that depends on your upstairs neighbours. Spectacular view of both resort and ocean. Privacy on the balcony as you don't see neighbours on either side. Can hear people come on and off the balcony / they heard us as sliding glass doors was a little sticky. Night time lounging on the couch out there was spectacular with a drink just listening to the waves and looking at the moon and night sky. No bugs but could have been time of year and because we were not near the sandy part of the shore. These rooms are closer to the water, with rocky shoreline, and a breeze. We typically have been in December and April. No counter space at all in the bathroom, just a tiny glass shelf. An issue for the ladies. Quick fix would be to add more shelving somewhere, anywhere. The shower was roomy but the curtain doesn't provide any barricade for the water. Floor was constantly soaked hence we used our towels to mop up. (Didn't play into the enviro friendly attempts being made by PBC for unnecessary towel usage/change over) Bed was pretty hard and a little squeaky, pillows quite soft. Renovations and upgrades continue after the new management takeover in November so perhaps ours wasn't quite completed yet although listed as such. A/C functioned well. Ceiling fan great if you didn't want A/C. Good tv channel selections. Two bottles of water upon arriving, nothing more. A few beers in the fridge and some snacks would go a long way to upping their game. Food was decent, the grill was nice to snack anytime during the day. I ordered a veggie burger one day in an attempt to stay “on track” while in vacation mode and was surprised when it was cooked in the deep fryer. Rest was standard snack bar fare; burgers, fries, nachos, ice cream, wraps and salads. Staff there was friendly. Buffet was just that. Although was pleasantly surprised with a good Jamaican style beef patty one day. Enough variety overall for a week stay and healthy enough if you made the right selections. Quality of coffee could be easily rectified. Wine selection not great. If you are drinking white wine ask for the Pinot Grigio if they have it on hand. That seemed to be the best out of all of the white selections but was not available everywhere. Restaurant and bar staff we found were hit or miss. Unfortunately. We understand that service industry jobs are not easy. Pasting on a smile sometimes is hard but many seemed unhappy and not very communicative - at least with us, and we tried. The job got done but service felt a little awkward. There were some who would make an effort if you chatted first. They didn't seem understaffed at the buffet, and at least two bartenders at the main bar at any given time. Reservation one night was lost completely for a restaurant booking at the sister resort, Verandah. No one had us listed and the one restaurant mentioned to me while making the reservation was closed. We had the shuttle driver take us to three different locations. He attempted to solve the mystery by making some calls but to no avail. Finally we were accommodated by Caril who was professional, kind, polite and graciously seated us. (She also tried to figure out the error, again with no results). We came to find out later, the 2 ladies at the desk booking the day before, didn't give us the "white slip" that was needed to show/confirm we had a reservation. The protocol is, they check the restaurant by phoning first which I witnessed and then book you in, give you the slip as a reminder but we think it just never got booked at all. We were sure to get a slip for each of the 3 final bookings we made. Annoying but mostly disappointing for what should have been a simple dinner reservation. Frankly speaking, we spent thousands of dollars to visit and getting lost and forgotten doesn't make one feel welcome nor appreciated as a guest. Activities twice were listed on the board however just never took place. One was the pool tournament (would have been something to do as it was raining that afternoon) the other was the dance lesson. Gerry for aqua aerobics was pretty good and it was a better work out than expected. Gym was decent. Two pools were small but nice for a dip. Many Americans, mostly British of course, with a sprinkle of Canadians. Swimming, food, room all were good enough for a week getaway if you are not expecting 5 star. We saw PBC listed as 3 star and would agree as per the wine and some other details listed above. Although, we have stayed at other Antiguan resorts with higher star ratings and paid the same price to stay here. Staff, not sure, maybe a training issue or the management style that affects their demeanour. We don't need much to keep us happy, nor do most. People just want the good solid basics for food, rooms and service. So would we recommend ? Overall, yes.

We were very happy with our vacation. We read all the reviews and knew in advance that the rooms needed updating (so were not surprised), that Mary's was the place to go for lunchtime BBQ, that the beach was good and that the staff were really friendly. I forgot that the Atlantic side of Caribbean islands are windier and the first 6 days were unusually windy with the red flag up every day. Of course the weather went back to normal as we were getting ready to leave. The food was good. We ate breakfast at the buffet, lunch at Mary's or the outdoor snack bar and dinner at the Grill or Chef Pietro's. You have to book early and it is usually not for the same day so plan ahead. The bar staff were fun and able to make all kinds of delicious slushies. Try a BBC - Bailey's, Banana and Coconut Cream - like a milkshake with punch. If you book a Westjet package, make sure to order and pay for your lunch/supper before leaving home. Take lots of American $1 and $5 bills for tipping the staff during your stay. The egg lady at the buffet is wonderful. Natashia at the Bar is terrific and Odessia at the booking desk has lots of patience for uncertain guests.

We won a trip on the Calypso Cat at the Managers special night so make sure you go :) And I loved donating at the end to help the people of Barbuda. Wishing them all the very best!

Just returned from a 7 day stay at this lovely resort. The resort is beautifully laid out with plenty of places to get away and relax or mingle with the crowd, whatever your heart desires. The food, buffet style, was excellent and varied from day to day. The 2 a la carte restaurants are also very popular. The people and service set this place apart. They are lovely. We had a beachfront room in the 100 block which was quite dark and tired with a small, outdated bathroom but the location was superb. The place is spotless and the grounds are very well maintained. Beach is gorgeous with plenty of water sports available. A wonderful escape. We will return.

We were there for a week in mid November. The best feature is certainly the beach. It is not a long one but is it beautiful with white powdery sand and no rocks on the beach or in the water. You can even snorkel in front of the resort but the best spots are a few minutes walk away. The hotel itself is quite nice, not big and well maintained. There is an ambiance of Caribbean plantation to it, at least in our eyes. Note that some buildings are being completely renovated. Ours (room 135) was not and although it was clean and functional it needed a major updating. On the positive side our room was a garden view room and was very well situated with a partial ocean view; we also had a private ground floor balcony. The staff was very polite, professional and efficient but not overly friendly. No real problem there. The food was very good everywhere we ate and we tried everywhere. The variety is good at the buffet with theme nights. The a la carte restaurants were both superb. The birds learned that they can get free drink and free food at every restaurant. Cover up your drink or plate when you leave your table. It is still an attraction to watch them operate in the eating areas. The snack bar was fine and we also went to the Outhouse: a kind of BBQ/snack bar combo. The food was good but the view and the whole place were even better. The resort is a good place to relax with a few nice attractions such as the beach party on Wednesday and the manager cocktail on Monday. There is also live entertainment nightly witch we enjoyed. Even though the resort is rather small they have a very good and well equipped gym with new equipment. We went there daily. There are also 4 tennis courts with 2 of them brand new. We walked to Devil's bridge (a local attraction) about 1 hour brisk walk total. We also went private horseback riding at Springhill Riding Club and it was a lot of fun (reservation required). Special thanks to Suzannah Adderson, the manager for a great morning. Good and well kept horses. We definitely would be back with family or friends.

We just LOVED this resort! Upon arrival, we were worried and skeptical as the reception area was very small and not connected to the main buildings. However, once we were in our room and oriented to the resort, our opinion sure changed. The rooms are a bit tired looking, the food was excellent, al a carte's were excellent, premium bar!, a party pool and low key pool, and right on the beautiful beach! The Antiguan people are so very nice! We cant wait to go back! best resort experience ever!

Recently returned after 10 day stay at Pineapple Beach Club in Antigua. What a wonderful vacation at resort that is truly a hidden gem. This resort has a lot to offer - the Food is delicious, wide selection of alcoholic beverages are offered, the staff are pleasant and cannot do enough for the guests. Accommodations are very clean and the Hotel is working on updating rooms throughout the resort. The resort grounds are well maintained and the beach is pristine. Great trip from beginning to end. Transfer from airport was simple and quick. No hassle check in. The room was simple but clean. We booked the super saver room. It was a garden view room, but we also had a good view of the ocean. The food was great, lots of choice, and it changed each day. The service was good as well. All the staff are friendly. The entertainment at night was a live band, and it was quite nice. We even danced on the beach! The beach was great although the water was cloudy, but warm. Really have nothing to complain about. We did not use the pools because the beach was so nice but the looked lovely. There was the odd mosquito but they were not a problem (compared to what we get at home)

The resort was clean and well maintained. The grounds and the beach were beautiful. Very well maintained. The rooms were in serious need of upgrade. The bathroom was especially nasty. The main bedroom had a fridge, coffeemaker but the room itself was very dated. The decor was very bland for the Caribbean. Beige bedspread no colour at all. Very dark in the room not enough lights especially where where you hang your clothes and where the in-room safe was. Food at the Ala- cart was good the buffet was hit and miss. They did have premium liquor. Most staff was not very friendly there were a few that made an effort to smile, but not many.

My husband and I stayed a the Pineapple Beach June 24 to July1. We had a wonderful time. Staff are attentive and very friendly. The resort is half renovated we were in an unrenovated room and we spoke to the property manager Sanjay Ambrose to see if we could see the renovated rooms for future visits. She was fantastic she not only found us on the beach the next to take us on a tour but we were able to upgrade our room. The food was delicious as well. We tried the 2 on sight restaurants then decided the buffet was so good we ate there very other evening. There was a different theme of food each night all delicious!!. Bars made excellant drinks, didnt matter that there was't name brand spirits Marvin and Maritza know how to make a well balanced drink. Unlike other resorts where they feel the more booze in the drink the better. Strawberry daiquiri or mojito yum yum Overall we loved this resort its small and intimate, beautiful beach great staff what more could you want!! Best feature the floaties in the ocean that's where you want to spend your day!!!

Enjoyed pineapple beach club .our room was beachfront and what a view, we were 2nd floor with a private balocony. Enjoyed the buffet as well as a la carte restaurants. The staff was friendly and beautiful,beach

Pineapple beach club was a terrific laid back vacation. We had a garden view room and the bathroom needed to be redone but our bonus was the large covered porch we had - room 414. Staff were all terrific and super friendly

I arrived at this resort on April 17, Resort was not full which was great. No lineups, upgraded room and no chair shortage Over all the resort is a good 3.5.Adult pool not nice beach was beautiful but a bit of a problem with seaweed, not always cleaned up. Food, you won't go hungry, the best was Mary's outhouse. Room was fine,Maid service was very good. Bar tenders could smile once and a while,some of them just didn't seem to want to be there. Would return if price was lowered.

Grounds were beautiful, some employee were very rude, not enough tables in the beach area to set your bags on. Food was better towards the end of the week. Birds flying around breakfast, and lunch were disgusting. They did try to keep them at bay. The bar next to the beach ran out of cups and the service was terriable, the employees were very rude, like they had to go out of there way to serve u. They can not make blender drinks there, you half to walk a mile to get one to the bar inside. from the beach. Breakfast was horrible, found eggs shell in my eggs, turned me off off the runny eggs anyways. Cheese was good and only one friendly lady servering, GOLDINE. The nurse station was actually excellent, Mr. Sunday Geroge was very nice and very helpfull.

Beach was small but well tended. Lots of loungers available. Adult pool was very basic. Public toilets were very well kept. I had great difficulty initially in getting kitchen and restaurant staff to recognise what an allergy to onions actually entailed. Once that was established, and a visit from the hotel nurse, things were better. Buffet choices were unremarkable and lilited.

Review will be based on knowing this resort will in the near future be replaced with a Beaches Resort. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and kept very clean. Rooms are dated but cleaned daily. Could be maintained better. Location and view from rooms is excellent. Dining could be improved such as more a la carte dining. Only 1 here as well as buffet dining. Food was excellent. Beach was excellent and pools small but adequate. Due to location, no sunset or sunrise to sit and watch. So this should be mentioned in reviews or resort description for future bookings. Bar or lack of bars. Only 2 bars and one was only for soft drinks and some fruity drinks but for specialty drinks, they had to be served from the main bar farther away from the main beach area. Bar regularly ran out of some ingredients such as Tomato juice and diet coke. Entertainment could have been better but good enough for smaller resort such as this. Service was frequently slow, especially in buffet restaurant but those serving were very friendly as was most staff at the resort. No currency exchange could be obtained at front desk or gift shop. Staff seemed to be very friendly but I think their moral was low knowing that they could be out of work and this could be why there are fewer staff working and therefore service slow.

Very relaxing get away. Beautiful resort. Beach fantastic. Food very good. Friendly staff. Too bad they are knocking it down next year in order to go more posh. It is beautiful the way it is. Highly recommended!

The resort itself is still a little low on the scale for looks, but the people make up for it 10 times over. Great food, and people that care about you. The beach is one of the best on the island, and kept clean daily. Security for all that is seen but never harassing.

The hotel is not fancy. However it offers great food and hospitality. The aerobics instructors, servers, maid service were amazing. This is our second time at this resort and I would return. It is very relaxing and fun.
