In late February 2026, my C/L and I booked our stay for 2 week and we were very pleasantly surprised by her Aunt and Uncle who came for the second week, we enjoyed the hotel and all the amenities.The hotel was in good shape, things were clean and well looked after. New construction was underway in the main lobby area of the hotel but it wasn’t an inconvenience at all. It was being done quickly and it looks like it will be a few nice additions. The hotel had nightly entertainment, the shows were pretty good. Vendors set up small stands in the main lobby every 2nd night which was nice. Very talented crafts people with a wide range of items.The food at the main buffet was very good with a wide selection of different kinds of food, different food stations, overall it was impressive. The different pools were nice, the swim up bar had a good selection of premium alcohol. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor), our room had a huge jacuzzi tub and a great view of the ocean. There is a 8th floor only lounge that offers premium beverages, a small but tasty breakfast, very friendly bartenders. The beach bar was very busy, but the staff very friendly. The hotel is family friendly with plenty of things for kids to do. There were kids cocktails which were a nice change for adults if you wanted. The beach snack bar had hotdogs, burgers, fries, there was a Chinese buffet close, lots of people kept the place busy, the food was fresh and tasty. The different bars were all well stocked and bartenders and servers were all friendly. Our room fridge was kept well stocked. There’s a main lobby late night snack bar (10 pm-6am), the cook was busy but always had a smile. Fresh hotdogs, hamburgers/cheeseburgers and fries were always cooking. The beach area was busy, you had to put your towel on a beach chair by 5 AM most mornings or you wouldn’t get a shade umbrella. To get a shaded lounger at the swim up bar area was almost impossible, I was there one morning by 5 AM and everything was taken. There was a lot of “sea weed” in the ocean during our 2 week stay but it apparently was everywhere so no big deal. We had issues booking A’ la carte restaurants and issues with slow or broken elevators. Overall, we found the hotel to be a very good experience and we have recommended it to family and friends. We plan on returning in February 2027.

Our family had a great time in Mexico despite this resort. The food here is awful. We basically lived on french fries as that was the only thing that tasted normal. The main buffet building was closed for renovations which was never disclosed to us prior to booking. The pivot was to hold the buffet in the conference hall and the tables were set up with cloth tablecloths that were filthy. We laid our napkins down to make a clean placemat for our dining. There were long lines for the buffet and bars. It seemed like the resort just did not have enough staff. The floors were dirty and there was a chair in the lobby of the tower we were in that had blood on the cushion the entire 7 days we were there. In the evenings we would look for a table in the common area to play board games/cards with our kids and had to clean off tables and chairs ourselves in order to have a clean surface to play on and clean chairs to sit on. The beach location was good, the ocean was great. Our family had a good time but felt like we had to put up with the resort and make the best of it. We will never return to any Crown Paradise.

We stayed at the Crown Paradise Club February 24 – March 3, 2026 The hotel grounds and public areas are lovely and very well kept. Our room was very nice. We had a Club room on the 7th floor in the Crown Tower. Yes this is an older hotel but it has been very well maintained for the most part. The room was really nice with a beautiful jet tub and a bathroom that we could have had a party in, all done in what looked like stone tiles. We had a nice balcony with a fabulous view of the beach and the ocean. Our room had no towels when we got there. I phoned housekeeping and in no time there was a maid at the door with towels. The service by all the staff was impeccable. They could not do enough for you. Their selection of restaurants was great. The main buffet had tremendous variety and I’m sure there is something for everyone. We tried all the Ala Carte restaurants,the little Fujiama sushi bar as well as the snack bar by the main pool. Just a note that you had to dress for the French restaurant and there were no children allowed. Men had to wear long pants and closed shoes. It was quite fancy. Best Lemon Drop martini ever. Because we had Club rooms we were afforded a number of extra privileges and they were really worth it. There was a plate of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and there was supposed to be fresh flowers too. I did get my flowers a few days later. There is a private Club Lounge on the 8th floor with floor to ceiling views of the ocean. There was a bar and in the evening they even had hor d’oeuvres. They had a consierge in the mornings for about 4 hours to help you with whatever you needed. She helped us navigate the restaurant reservation system. They also served a smaller breakfast buffet with hot and cold items as well. The mimosas were great. Besides the Club Lounge and the main buffet you could also go to the Italian restaurant where they also served breakfast. It was really great. You helped yourself to the buffet but if they didn’t have the style of eggs you wanted or bacon or breakfast sausage you just ordered straight from your waiter. He would bring out a whole dinner plate full for us. They made the best omelets I have ever had with a huge selection of fillings. This resort is very family oriented. They have a multitude of activities for kids. We estimated that at least 30 % of the guests were children. So if that bothers you, then this is not the resort for you. We didn’t mind. There are four pools at this resort. We only frequented the Adults only pool because we couldn’t find any chairs anywhere near the other pools. This was one of my pet peeves and I know I’ve read this complaint before. They do not have nearly enough chairs or shade by the pools so people are going down at 7:00 am or earlier to lay towels to claim chairs. Even at the Adults only pool, they did not have enough chairs or lounge beds. They definitely need more shade around that pool too and they could put more chairs up there. The Adults only pool did have two large hot tubs and a swim up bar which was really nice. The beach is nice but not many chairs or shade on it at all. The reservation system to book restaurants for supper really leaves something to be desired. It was downright stressful trying to get a reservation. You had to scan a QR code on your phone, be on at precisely 8:00am to book your chosen restaurant or you did not get a reservation. Each room has to do this even if you are travelling with others staying in different rooms. There were a couple of times when either my husband and I or our travelling companions did not get a reservation, or not for the same time. I have to say they did accommodate us and seat the four of us under one reservation when we showed up at the door. But if you had a larger group I could see where it could become a problem. There were a lot of little bars scattered all over the hotel. You were never far from a fresh margarita or a cerveza. A nice quiet lounge we discovered the day before we left was Trafalgar. It was off in a corner. It was done up British pub style. They had pool tables and I believe they may have had board games too. Another thing they really need to address is the elevator system. There were only 2 elevators in each tower. They were very slow. Many times only one was working. And the elevators in our tower were allergic to Floor 6 because it would scoot right by regularly. A day or two before we went home someone told us about the service elevators in behind the main elevators so we used those. They were much faster. They are apparently working on a third elevator in the Crown Tower. Hopefully it is operational soon.

The hotel is great. Always clean and friendly. The suite was fabulous including the welcome bottle of wine and the flowers. All the staff is friendly, polite and ready to help you all times. Only concern is the resort has far too many sets of stairs which is very hard for a person like me with mobility issues. The a la cart restaurants are amazing.

My experience here was not great. It starts at check-in when another couple experienced an issue with the dates confirmed. They were to check-in the 17th of December, as per the email confimation they had but the hotel had them for the 18th. Surely a clerical error easily rectifiable, but no, the manager was rude and not accommodating in the least. My turn, check-in and there's a tax to be paid. I asked what it was, curious, and the answer I was given, "ma'am its a tax you habe to pay!" as though we had argued it unpleasantly. Get up to our room, ONE bed. No, I wven called the night before to guarantee 2 beds. I did NOT wish to sleep in the same bed as my 15 yr old son (that I only adopted a year ago) and when I asked for a different room and explained why, I was told there was never a guarantee. The room is sold as a double and costs more. No refund, no help. Just a beligerant employee. Room itself smelled like mildew and yes, there was mold in the bathroom. Then off the AC and open both the patio door and the room door for 10m. Make sure everything is stored or it will go flying. The food. OMG and I've been to Cuba in a 3*. The food was not good. You do get one.free a la carte dinner in one of their restaurants. I suggest the steakhouse but don't get your hopes up. Its good but it's not steakhouse good. Lastly, I found 4 syringes on the beach. On to some positive notes. The beach is nice. People go down at sunrise to "reserve" chairs. Get up early. The water is warm, clean, and not so salty it makes you itchy after a swim. We even slept outside one night when the sky was clear The staff that isn't at the front desk is super nice. My chambermaid was amazing. I have zero complaints there I would go back to Cancun. But I would definitely not stay here. For a similar rate, I'd go to a different resort. The RIU next door. I'm not much of a critic. I'm very laid back and almost never leave a negative review but if I can save a nice family from having a bad experience, it's worth it. Read the other not so great reviews before you book.

This hotel is great for families but not for smokers,were your alowed to smoke is in parking lot and taxis back up almost to were your smoking and they leave their cars idling,not good,there’s no coffee place were you can smoke ither.than that staff are very friendly maids are great all in all great family friendly place food lots of variety!!I give this place 8 stars out of 10

Everything was great except food. There was less variety compared to Riviera Maya hotels in Cancun.the spa centre doesnt except USD cash which was unexpected. We paid with credit card and paid extra fees for conversion.

The hotel was clean, had great amenities, lots of great things for the kids. The big slides were awsome, the kids slides area was set up nice. The pools were freezing cold. The ocean was beauty, waves were always big everyday so little kids not so great for. Needs a swim up bar, and the food wasn't amazing at the buffet, the restaurants were tough to get in, when they needed reservations. The other ones you had to wait in lines, and after 6pm it was a long wait.

Big hotel. Lots for families to do. Great food, clean resort. Beach was good however no shade and very limited chairs and shade areas. Beach was quite steep to walk on. Pool areas also was difficult to get chairs. Reservations for supper was hard to get. Overall a good resort. Next to no partiers or roudy people which we liked. Vendors came regularly to resort. Watch the waves…lost two pairs of glasses. Had a beautiful view from our patio…enjoyed relaxing there.

This resort is ok for families on a budget but nothing is great about it . Front desk staff could care less about you. People on the grounds are helpful and give good service. Rooms are ok but overall resort is old and needs a facelift. Gym equipment is very old and border’s unsafe.food in restaurants and main hall is just ok.

My family and I stayed at the Crown Paradise Club Cancun from Feb 12th to Feb 23rd, 2025. The resort was quite large and noisy; however, was impeccably clean and the room were nice. While the beach was sandy, it was course sand and hard to walk on as you sink into it every step you make, making it difficult to enjoy. The overall service was excellent and the main buffet was very good for lunch; however, they seem to serve the same things in the evening, which is not what you expect for sure. In the evenings we rotated to 3 of the 4 a la carte restaurants, the Italian, The French and the Steak House, all were quite good. They told us upon check in that we needed reservations for the French restaurant, which was not the case. I'd like to give a shout to out some particular staff members who exceeded our expectations. Alexis at the Italian Restaurant, Jose at the French Cuisine. Mary, the hostess at the Steak House, Jesus who was a superb Bellboy and last, but certainly not least, Joel, my beach server who kept my cold drinks coming all day long. You are all a credit to the hospitality industry.

We loved the lay out of the resort. We really liked the fact that one of their pools was inside under shade for those that were burnt by the sun or for those with sensitive skin in the sun. One thing we did not like was having to online reserve only, for the a la cartes restaurants on the day of and only starting at 8:00am for which everyone was trying to reserve for that day. Unfortunately we ended up getting a reservation at 8:30pm which is late when you have kids. A lot of times reservations were all gone by a few minutes after 8:00am. Which is not fair to everyone.

Have been to this resort 3 times now. Great resort. We always get the upgrade to the crown club rooms adults only Food in ala cartes is great with the exception of the seafood restaurant. Was dissatisfied with that one. Buffet is good. Always found something Resort is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly, rooms are good Lots of kids activities if in to that

Everything that was actually working was run down. Went for March break, no zipline, no water slides. Electricity went out, elevator didn’t work Food was 2* at best. Everything was deep fried or reused hot dogs.

Crown Paradise Long review (stayed with children) This is a family resort. If you don’t have children, I would not recommend it. That being said, it’s a GREAT family resort. Rooms - we had room 2103. All rooms have an ocean view. We were a party of 10 people in 3 rooms and we were all happy with our rooms (1202, 1203 and 1212). They were clean (and cleaned every day). I was worried about the “very hard beds” I’d read about in reviews but we all agreed that they were firm but still comfortable. We had a cot rolled in for one of our kids and that mattress was very soft. Bathrooms were a little small for 4 people but a minor inconvenience. Lots of hot water! Food - maybe the biggest downfall. As everyone mentions, the reservation system for the A La Cartes is awful. So hard to get a spot (must literally submit at 8:00am) and then you still won’t usually get a time you want. And it stinks to have to set an alarm on vacation. The buffet line ups are also quite long - fyi breakfast buffet available in convention centre too - quicker but fewer options). Our server in the buffet (La Palapa) was David most days and he was a highlight of the trip. He worked hard to find ways to seat our large group of 10 together when we he could. The buffet food was repetitive for all meals but with some variations. The ice cream is the same flavors every day. The A La Cartes were… okay? Their beef in all of them was tough, or not cooked as ordered or very fatty. Some “great” foods were the clams and the tuna salad dish at the French restaurant, the ribs, the crab cakes and the “beef in its own juice” at Wayne’s Boots, the churros at the Mexican restaurant. Hard to find good desserts as they’re mostly some variation of a gelatin dessert (except the apple turnovers and the pineapple upside down cake at the buffet). Pools - GREAT! We spent our days in the crown shaped big pool as it was quieter than the big infinity pool. Tough to find shade sometimes so that’s unfortunate. The covered pool is the only one that’s heated, i believe, but we all happily swam in the other one :) The waterslides were great too - such a great bonus! Kids club - Kids only went once but they had a BLAST! We had two sets of kids (cousins) so they mostly played with another but if that wasn’t the case, they would have spent more time making friends there. The staff are wonderful. The first time you take your kids you have to fill out a waiver hit after that it’s an easy drop off. Beach - it was mostly red flags while we were there. So, big waves. Kids had fun playing/wave jumping where it was shallow but I wouldn’t suggest it for swimming. However, I’ve heard it can be calmer at other times. The sand is so soft and doesn’t get hot. You can walk down to the left to the “Playa Delfines” beach too - we did this once but found it pretty much like the beach at the resort (and it’s a hot 5 minute walk…). We went to the shows every night except one. They were a mix of okay and great. Michael Jackson was awesome (heads up that “zombies” come out during Thriller and may worry kids), as was Disney night. We read lots of worrisome reviews before we came. I think it’s a matter of where you set your bar. Were there imperfections? Of course, especially if you look for them. Overall though it was a fantastic vacation and we’d definitely return. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. There is SO much to do. Tips - Bring some string and clothes pins to make a makeshift drying line on your balcony because your bathing will never dry in your bathroom. Foam party is Monday at 4 (probably). Mixed responses to when it is but we missed it sadly. Ask everyday :)

Everything was great! Amazing staff, beautiful beach, great food and entertainment. Only ring is the beds were a bit small but nothing to complain about. Thank you for our great stay! We will definitely be back.

The rooms were beautiful, i think having an oceanview really made the package, the AC in the room was a little off though and it wasnt super cold in the room all the time which is usually what you want. the buffet food was okay for breakfast and lunch, having all the little extra snackbars around the resort is really nice and we absolutely loved the french restaurant that was on the resort and the waiter Erik. He had us for 3 days straight. We also had the power go out for 5 hours there and they had no idea when we’d get it back. Id say its very kid oriented which wasnt the worst at all.

The resort had lots of fun things to do for young children. There is a kids club that has a pirates ship water park with lots of slides, basketball court, movie room and crafts! There are a few pools and one which is somewhat indoor which was good when the kids had enough sun. The food and staff are excellent. Very clean resort but a little old looking.

Clean and well kept. They take care of everything and are always working on something. As I use a walker to get around, even though they had ramps I found it very difficult to use. They were too steep and if my daughter had not been there I would not have been able to get around. I did have an accessible room and would spend most of my time on my balcony looking at the water and enjoying the sunshine. Weather was great all week.

Pros: -clean and great service -buffet food was very good -lots to do for kids Cons: -night noise. rooms in tower 1 are subject to a lot of noise at night from people partying in the main floor bars and midway snack bar (open all night) as it has indoor atrium setupMgmt did nothing to correct the noise or sorting. -a la carte restaurants are near impossible to book. They have a telephone reservation system that you have to use the day of to book. Unless you want to spend your vacation on the phone, it’s hard to get through to book. We were able to book one à la carte and when we went, the restaurant was pretty empty. Thus making me believe they want to funnel everyone to the buffet instead (less overhead costs).

Great hotel, amazing food and lots of kids activities! Service is very friendly! Great night shows especially Disney show! Beautiful pool overlooking the ocean, delicious drinks for kids too and fun waves! No restrictions due to Covid!

First of all, I have never written a review for a vacation before, but for this experience it needs to be done. We waited almost 3 years to take our honeymoon trip (COVID cancellations ). To start off, we weren't on the Westjet transfer list when we landed in Cancun, so had to pay $75.00 US to take a 7 minute cab ride. We waited in line for over an hour to check in to the hotel and were advised we had to book the restaurants by our hotel room telephone in the morning (each morning). We later discovered that this process takes approximately 1 - 2 hours to get through to anyone to book said restaurant (then of course all the pool chairs are taken). The restaurants had about 5 tables per seating??!!! We were truly shocked when we got to our VERY dated and smelly hotel room (2 double beds lol). The bathroom was ridiculous (small tub with moldy edges, and the shower head was so low you had to duck to get your hair wet). Our ocean view room was mostly the view of the next door vacant lot with the rubble left from the last resort - very disappointing. As we arrived too late to book a restaurant, we went to the buffet, thinking that it would be fine and not that bad. How wrong we were... we hunted for something to eat, circling several times and ended up with a couple of dinner rolls and margarine (seriously) it was so bad lol and the nights we had to eat there - we didn't. Luckily, there is a Subway across the street. Breakfasts in the buffet were a series of long line ups to simply get in , then more line ups for horrible food (pizza with black beans and no sauce lol). Line-ups for overdone eggs and empty bins of bacon and rubberized pancakes, and french fries? (although the fruit was good). The booze is clearly doctored, asking for Smirnoff vodka and watching them pour it didn't matter, it still tastes like crappy tequila. To top it all off. someone came to our door with extermination equipment?!! We asked at the front desk for clarification and were advised it was standard procedure... ugh, so disheartening. Overall, this was the worst Mexico trip I have experienced (8 times in total). It was a horrible, expensive experience. I will not be returning to Cancun again nor would I recommend this resort to anyone - EVER

The resort was well maintained, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The resort offered many extras which made our stay that much more enjoyable. We were with our children and grandchildren and the resort was extremely kid friendly

The resort was well spread out and tidy. However the entire time we were at your resort the room directly above us and several others were under construction around us. Hammers grinders chisels every single day while my one year old tried to sleep. Water was dripping from the lights in our bathroom due to construction. As well as the room directly beside us had smokers in it. We complained twice and nothing was done. I'd give the resort a 3 out of 5 due to all these issues.

After reading some of the reviews before our stay I was a bit nervous! But I was pleasantly surprised! We went with our 3 kids (9,6 and 4) they had the best time. Kids club was 10/10! We loved the A La Cartes. The actives at the main pool were fun during the day for the kids. We enjoyed the waterslides, beach, mini golf, games room, entertainment in the evening was great. I don’t really have any complaints.

Vacances du 14 au 21 fevrier 2020. Service de navette très pratique. C'est un resort très familiale. Chambre très propre pouvant accueillier 5 personnes ( 2 ad +3 jeunes enfants) Belle plage propre. Belles piscines communes. Espace piscine enfant et adulte bien délimité. Espace de jeu d'échec, basketball, soccer mini-golf. Repas très peu diversifié (beaucoup de porc CERDO😉). Mon mari s'est fait rationné pour le poisson. Plusieurs choix de resto sur reservation. Pour le rapport qualité prix,je vous le recommande!

Lovely beach and lots of cabanas. Excellent food selection. Very good security. Staff very helpful and friendly, eg front desk, waiters, lifeguards, room maintenance staff, gardeners. Family friendly but also a few sections reserved for adults, eg French a la carte restaurant and adult section in main restaurant.

Hotel overall was good. Food was good and service was great. I found the weather during January to be quite windy, which was the real only negative thing. Pools were clean and well kept. The ocean was extremely wavy, but that was due to the weather.

Hotel looks old and require maintenance in many areas. We instructed to get two rooms side by side on same floor due to 24 hour observation required for our children. But we were given rooms on separate floors. Had to check out at 11 to ensure we get rooms side by side on next day and could not get replacement until around 4 pm. Pretty well lost whole day without sleep because of safety of our children. No choices were available for vegetarians. Morning, afternoon and evenings were same old stuff: Broccoli and cauliflower boiled in water. Celery and carrots boiled. Or Cactus that we never ate in our life. It was boring to see the same choices over and over again. In-spite of complain they did not change anything. Even stuff that was labeled as vegetarian like: corn soup will have chicken or pork in it. Pizzas were lousy. Bathrooms on first day needed power wash. I would have almost vomited - looking at the bath tub. While changing rooms, we left some stuff in old rooms and they could not locate them. Telephone repair took more than 7 days. Overall 1 to 2 star and never will book at this place again.

Well my review has some good but more bad. Check in was good, rooms were ok , clean, house keeping was good unless it was changeover days they we were neglected and when they finally come to clean , basically they made beds, left no towels, face cloths, didn't change garbage, clean cups and coffee pot, and we were trying to get ready for photo shoot, so frustrated. There was nine of us so was able to borrow enough from others. It wasn't just our room it was all four rooms. I find they cater to the Mexicans. Then my parents room safe gets broken into and $1000.00 was stolen, no compensation for it, and our daughters room had money stolen too. Drink service by pools were very slow we just got our own, buffet was hit and miss usually cold, not much of a selection, again more for Mexicans You could never get reservations for the restaurants they were always booked with club members. Will never be back to this resort, I give it a 1 out of 10.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

First time in Cancun but have visited Mexico (Mayan Riviera) several times. We were a group of five (2 adults and 3 kids: 9, 8 and 2). We enjoyed the closeness of the hotel to the airport and the beach was far better than the other places we visited in Mexico (no seaweed). Hotel was great too - all rooms had a view of the ocean and everything was easily accessible (no need to take shuttle buses or walk long distances). The only small negative was that it was not super stroller friendly as there are lots of stairs to get anywhere and ramps were few or on a major incline (must have been built long ago). Buffet food was OK (better other resorts), but service all around was superb and the restaurants made up for the rest. Our favourites: Italian, Mexican, Seafood and then Steakhouse. The kids club was alright. They had waterslides and a water park. Water park had ice-cold water, so while fun in theory, kids did not go. Also not many activities there compared to other resorts. I imagine they do not bother because of the waterslides and park. Overall, great. Recommend!

This was our first time to Cancun. We are a couple in our 50s, and comfort, good food and great service are high on our list. The Crown Paradise has all that plus a great beach! We loved our view; every room in the hotel has an ocean view. What a difference it made to our mornings, to be able to sit in bed with coffee and a book, and to have that incredible view to enjoy! One distinctive service was that you could order coffee and breakfast to be delivered to your room, for a small fee of about $5. We got hooked on that! But there was always coffee in the room as well. We also loved the adult pool, with its sun beds and hot tubs. Excellent service again. Something to keep in mind, though, is that this is very much a family resort. There are lots of activities for kids, and the evening show is earlier than most so the kids can attend. We would have liked some music in the evenings that wasn’t just singers singing to a karaoke track; it’s just not that interesting. I miss the days when it would be a guitarist and a singer, or a small band. We really liked the French restaurant; had amazing service, great food, and tried some Mexican wines, wonderful! It also had a more sophisticated setting, and again, that spectacular view. The beach was gorgeous. We are beach people, and love to walk forever and play in the waves. The sand was perfect, the waves were a little on the wild side but there had been some storms. It was a lot of fun but some people didn’t realize how powerful they can be; two men got caught out in the waves and had to be rescued by the lifeguards. Kudos to those lifeguards; they got out there and brought them back to safety. All in all, we’d go back if we were travelling with family. It was definitely worth every penny.

Checked in and the bathroom started leaking water from the ceiling. After a technician came start cutting the ceiling and fixing it but at 5 pm We went to see our room and a big hole on the ceiling still there with mess everywhere and only at 830 pm at night I kindly asked to change the room nobody offered me that. Paid for Ocean view room completely blocked by a palm tree we couldn’t see the ocean at all. The rooms were a bit old and nothing to do with the pics online. Bathtub blacked out with the time and seemed not as clean. They were days that we had to ask to come to clean our bedroom even if we had left the room at 8 and come back at 14:00 o clock. When we visited the hotel was I guess under construction “nobody told us anything” and at 2-3 pm while with 2 babies trying to sleep drilling noises and compressors everywhere... impossible to sleep. Beside all that hotel was in good location with many activities and shows for the kids swimming pool view amazing you could see the ocean. Food “buffet “and drinks were very nice. Restaurants were very nice and professional with excellent service. Overall experience it was good.

Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Offered me a free upgrade when I arrived and it was a amazing room. Ginormous jetted tub, cleaning staff Carmen left me these beautiful towel art pieces on the edge of my tub each day. She put rose pedals all around the tub, flower arrangements out each day. These all made me feel like royalty. I would recommend this hotel chain to everyone.

We had a wonderful time. The resort is clean, staff is friendly and the food was excellent! We can not think of one thing to improve. The only complaint we have is that 10 days was not enough. We will definitely go again to this resort.

This was our second stay at the resort. It may not be 5 star gorgeous, but we found the resort clean, the food great and the pools and beach amazing. Everyone at the resort works very hard and aims to please their guests. We may not be heading back for a 3rd time, unless the price is right again. Super close to airport and close to the sights of cancun shopping and excursions.

Room was updated and quite nice. Beds were new. Fridge and AC actually worked. Staff was great. Views were breathtaking. Pools and surrounding area needed to be cleaned more than once a week! With how nice this place was it's a shame how crazy the food actually was. Hard to believe but it was a minus 10 in comparison to Cuba. Not a joke at all. I'm not a picky eater at all but ended up living on break fries and cereal for 10 days.

This is our first time to Cancun and we were not sure how the reception is going to be but the minute we landed, it’s all smiles. People are amazing there and they sure know how to treat people. They have amazing staffs and pretty much all the rooms has beach view. It’s well worth the money.

The resort is great for kids as it has various pools, a play room (most staff are great!) and a water park for both kids and adults! There were a lot of families there but it didn't feel too packed as it is fairly big. Buffet was good, a la carte restaurants were good except the French was closed for renovations. Fishermans was the best, then Mexican, Steakhouse, and Italian our least fav. There are lots of stairs there so it's not great for older, less mobile people and isn't totally stroller friendly although you can manage. Beach was nice and clean, ocean was a bit rough but great. I didn't see any water activities. My least favourite part was that the pools were VERY COLD. Too cold for babies, which was a huge disappointment as they can't go into the ocean. It could have been the rain the first 2 days they should heat at least one pool for times like this. They were fairly empty because of the frigid temperature. There are small tiny ants in the room so don't leave ANY food out. You have to look really close as they blend into the counter tops. If it weren't for the temperature of the pools I would recommend this for families of young children.

The hotel is one where you will definitely revisit. Great rooms,terrific gym and extremely friendly staff. The grounds were well kept and the food was good, especially breakfasts. It is well geared for children and the evening entertainment very good.

if you have children its a very good resort. it feels more like a large Hotel rather than a resort not fancy at all. The food is ok. The restaurants a la carte were amazing. Every room has an amazing view. The staff are not so friendly for an exceptions of few of them. the shows were fantastic. The game room, the movie theatre were fun for the kids. the bar had a nice selection of drinks design just for children like Barbie , ironman drinks , captain America , hulk and etc.

My son and I loved this resort!!! It’s super kid friendly and we met up there with Mexican family and they loved it too!!! We would all meet there again!!! The food was really accessible and tasty! The staff was lovely!! We gave our maid a few Canadian treats and she went above and beyond for us!!!! So a special thank you to our maid , Ana Luisa!!!!

Traveled to Crown Paradise in late April with our 3 and 5 year olds. We had a great time and the kids loved the pirate ship area. Everyone loved the food at the buffet, no one ever went hungry. Waynes Boots and Mexican were our favorite a la carte's by far. We would go again as there are more actives for the kids as they get older.

We had a great week, great service, good food and great entertainment! We were in prime location, 20 mins from the airport, 10 minutes from down town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a familly kids resort.

The room had a wet mouldy smell. It had an adjoining door which we could hear the people talking and they had an infant crying all hours of the night. We asked to change our room but they couldn't. Very disappointed with the hotel. Will not go back.

Good value for the money. An older hotel. Rooms clean. Food decent. Get your reservations in early for any of the restaurants because they fill up fast. The pillows on the bed are terrible and way too small. The elevator service is very bad and cannot accommodate the amount of people that use them. But they were working on them while we were there. Thank God for the adult swimming pool. It was a god send. Overall a very good vacation.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun delivered! Sun, sand, what else can you ask for. We were pleased to get what we expected. Our room faced the ocean (I believe they all do...a bonus!!!)Although very much a "Family Resort", we were very satisfied with the suite we paid extra for. Our room was one of the quietest I have been in. My husband and I were in suite 2701 which was at the end of the hall which was away from the elevators which we requested. We appreciated having breakfast in the "adult only" lounge on the 8th floor and were happy to end our day there for a drink and some hors d'oeuvres in a quiet atmosphere which suited us fine. Also, don't miss the adult only section in the buffet and the adult only pool. If you can't afford an "adult only" hotel, this will do the trick. We had to wait a bit for our check in but sitting on the beach made the time pass....The ocean is a bit rough, just be forewarned but we still went in it. The specialty restaurants are great but the only negative was when they cancelled our reservation at the french restaurant with only a few hours notice....they did book us somewhere else. I was dissapointed but quickly got over it. Book these as soon as you arrive or the next morning with the Concierge in the breakfast lounge. We went on the Snorkel and Tulum excursion. Both are recommended. Don't forget to put your name for the "Lagoon Cruise" on Tuesdays, with the main Concierge on the first floor. It is free and the Tequilla will be flowing freely. You will be served an amazing sit down lunch on the boat as well. A good few hours was had by all!!!! For a quick, cheap outing, go accross the street to the El Rey Zona Arqueologica....you will see ruins and lots of Iguanas. Great photo ops and a quiet tour at your own pace for only $3.50 American. The jet tub facing the ocean....what can I say! We flew with West Jet and quite enjoy our flight. Book the "Plus" service (only 12 seats per plane) You will get free booze, meal, hot towel and free tablet (which was much appreciated on our flight since the West Jet connect app was not available on the return flight but we still got to view some films to pass the time. Oh, and much more leg room! Very clean hotel and the staff is very friendly and ready to answer your questions. I had read some reviews that mentioned how the mattresses were hard, but for someone with back pain, I can honestly say that the mattresses were awesome. The pillows, not so much but it is what it is. I survived. If you purchase things in American money at the hotel they will give you Pesos back but if you go to the mall a short bus ride down the street they will give you American change (bus is $1 American and comes every few minutes- R1 or R2 will get you to the mall in front of the Westin Hotel) Just flag the bus down, they will stop. You can walk to the famous "CANCUN" sign overlooking the ocean at the public beach but be ready to wait in line as you are not the only one who wants that picture. We were told going early in the morning is best. A 7 minute walk from hotel at the most....All I can say is when can we go back?

This hotel was wonderful. Close to airport. Good food, lots of ammenities to offer and everything is close by. Not a luxury resort, but good value. We visited with our 5 & 7 year olds and found all of the restaurants accommodate children. Would definitely consider visiting this resort again.

Worth the money spent! Spent 5 nights in this resort with my family. Very good resort for the kids!Loads of activities.Al carte resturants were good too. Staff is amazing and will always greet you with a smile.

Overall we were happy with this hotel...the food quality, quick room service, helpful staff, condition of the rooms, fantastic beach view from the room, the beach itself, kids club, proximity to the airport, etc. We had a fabulous time! There were just two disappointments cold pools & music quality. I am mentioning these two things to be constructive to the hotel, I know it's tough to please everyone. 1) All pools were very cold, indoor & out. Ourselves & the kids (aged 8 & 9) had trouble enjoying the water, and they aren't kids that are tough to please. I'm not sure if they have the ability to heat them, the air temperature was around 26C. 2) The music playlist at the pool was not enjoyable. They seemed to have an hourly rotation in between the pool games. 50's, 60's, 80's, and hard rock. I spoke to the "DJ" and they weren't able to change it. It would have been nice to hear some Latin music or at least some more current pop music. Also, there is no music at the lobby bar. There was a duo singing for a little while, but nothing after they left. We were happy to see that the lobby was able to integrate the kids area with the adults, but the lack of music was disappointing. Again, we did have a great time and would recommend this hotel.

My daughter and I both enjoyed the resort. It was Well kept. There were lots of activities to do during the day and evening. I have a suggestion for the resort. Perhaps changing the music to “top 40” as they constantly played 50’s music which I thought was awful. Either that or they were playing hard rock music in the morning during breakfast! Also maybe time some activities, such as Zumba to earlier in the day as it was at 10pm inside the bar area. Most people are in heels and have had a few drinks in them by then and unable to participate. The staff were great, Angel the bartender by the pool was nothing short of amazing. Staff also ensured our safety at all times and were very helpful. I would come back again. :) thanks

This resort offers a lot for kids to do and the new water slides were awesome but a few of the attractions weren't working and the service overall has seem to have taken a nosedive. Our room completely flooded by the patio door where the kids were in their bunks. The front desk service left much to be desired. The overall quality and variety of food was less than last year and this year our mini bar was never restocked without us ordering more to the room and having to pay additional charges even for drinking water. I don't think we'll be going for a third year.

This resort is very clean, people extremely friendly. I really like how there is an adult only floor with an adult lounge. Also an adult only area in the buffet, as well as an adult pool. From what I have seen the families also have a great time with numerous activities going on and lots of variety of nightlife I have been twice to this resort and will go again

Would recommend this resort to families for sure. So much to do and you never have to leave the resort. Spent 5 days snd still didnt see/do it all. Food wad reasonable although the baked goods could use some help. Rooms varied. Looks like there were a few newly renovated rooms that were perfect but the rest were just okay. Oceanview was breathtaking.

It looks like a great family hotel. However, we had some disappointments. The pirate ship with the water slides was covered in rust. There was moisture in the room. It was smelling gasoline all the time on the beach. But more importantly, I had food poisoning on my last night on the resort. I went with my 7 month old baby and my 5 year old boy. I do not drink alcohol as I am breastfeeding the baby. I ate some fish on my last night and around 10pm I started vomiting every one hour until 6am the next day. We had to go to the airport at noon. I never felt that terrible. I was lying down on the floor in the airport unable to move. Unable to catch my flight! My husband was trying to get me some orange juice. I had never been so sick of all my life. I was so dehydrated. I was not able to drink nor to eat. I ate a bit before the plane and I got sick again. I had asked some orange juice to be sent to my room on the morning after I got sick as I was not able to leave the room and they charged me for it even after my husband explained I had food poisoning from their food. I asked if I could get a banana and I couldn't because it was not on their room service menu although it was on the buffet menu. They brought some of their exotic sliced fruits instead. I will never go back to that hotel.

The resort was clean and staff were always accommodating and polite. Food was awesome, you never went hungry. We were upgraded to a suite free of charge at check in and the room was beautiful! I would stay again. Abraham in the disco bar was awesome, we spent many nights at the bar talking to him. He was able to give us tips on what to do when we wanted to leave the resort to go to such places as the market. There is a city bus that runs every 2 mins that took us everywhere we wanted to go and it was only $1 us. The disco bar opened at 6, there were pool tables and card tables you could sit at and then the disco started at 11. It was open 6pm-2am and always adults only. There were multiple pools. The pool on the first level was adults only that contained cabanas and a swim up bar. The rest of the pools were kid friendly on the main level.

I would never recommend this resort to anyone! They try to rope you into a situation like a time share the very first day you arrive. The food was gross and the selection sucked! My husband pretty much lived off hot dogs and hamburgers all week! You can't ever get a reservation for the restaurants. The elevators took forever, the staff and service sucked, the stair ways were gross and dirty! The rooms were alright, the beds and pillows sucked, room service is at the door as early as 7:30am. The adult pool closes at 5:00pm, and the bathrooms for that area are f***ing nasty! I felt like I was going to catch something using them! Every time you turn around there's rules you can't do this, you can't do that. Yeah all inclusive my butt, you have to pay for room service, unless you spend $30,000 usd on the package to become a crown member! We got charged 6 peso for making local call to make arrangments to be picked up and taken to the airport the phone call was 1 minute long. My husband and I will never stay at this resort again! Trip central was amazing to book with though.

This hotel resort is really amazing, everything you need is there, and most of all, you won't get hungry even in the middle of the night. Their service staffs are courteous, and if you encountered a little problem inside the room, they will send people to fix it right away. Their nightly shows were really entertaining. Thumbs up to Crown Paradise Resort Club. 👍👍👍

Our group of 2 families really enjoyed our vacation at Crown Paradise. The food was great at the buffet and also at the ala carte dining. The activities everyday were well organized and the staff were amazing in their organization and how they managed to encourage guests to participate. The beach was great. The pools were always well kept. I highly recommend this resort.

The resort is really designed for families. Great pools and kids club. Baby club needs some updating and tighter rules re: ratio of adult caregivers to child. Food was ok, rooms were ok. Very good location.

Pros It's a nice resort with a good layout. Kid friendly with lots to do. The staff are lovely. Breathtaking views. Within walking distance of attractions. Italian and Mexican restaurants are delicious! Cons The elevators are horribly slow when they're not broken. When we were there the zip lining was closed down for more than half our trip without warning which was disappointing since that's one of the activities our son was looking forward to doing. Buffets never opened on time. Wouldn't rate this resort a 4+ star

We arrived around noon on Thurs Apr 21..check on took a long time but they were very nice. We didn't want a noisy room so he took his time to ensure he found us a quiet room which we really appreciated. Our maid Nelly was fantastic! Every day she left wash clothes folded like teddy bear or a duck or some animal for our kids. At the pool bar was the most magical. The pool bar staff Alberth, Roger, Luis, Kevin, Joel, they are absolutely amazing and they are what make this hotel shine like no other hotel we've ever been to. We would return for this reason most. They treated us so well all week and made special drinks even for the kids. They anticipated our every need smiling and attentive. Always so energetic and friendly all the pool bar and buffet staff are a pleasure. In the buffet area, Isreal and Rubical are the most amazing servers and worked hard with a smile every day. They remembered us from last visit and greeted our family every day like their welcomed family members. The pool was always clean, the beach while beautful was red flag for most of the week undertow and big waves .not good for young kids. The shows were ok and the rooms were nice.. Beds hard though. The only real problem I had was the food. Sometimes at the buffet for supper time we couldn't find much that was tasty. Most foods didn't taste quite right and even tasted odd. The meats were dry or often bland. The Ice cream was awesome though! I was sick with an upset stomach all week and not sure if I ate an undercooked burger at the pool area or if it was something else. The pool food often the temperature wasn't regulated and lids were left open with food exposed in the hot sun . I had been to the Riu in Mexico back in Oct and had no problem with food or tummy issues what so ever there...only here. Also sometimes it was difficult to get the guy stocking our room mini fridge to come with water each day. I left a note asking for more water please but he only came after I called down to the front desk and several hours later . 2 water bottles only allowed per room they said over the phone. Yet there were 4 of us in the room . You can go downstairs and get water at the buffet ..just bring your own container. The resort has free Wii fii throughout which is great. Overall ..because of the outstanding pool bar staff we love this resort..but I wish the food were better. The kids loved the watersides the beach and the guy dressed up like Pokemon walking around. The lifeguard at the beach was very good at watching everyone he was fantastic. The bell boys were great, so was the professional photography we had done at the resort .our Kids loved what they've done with Jetix with the ping pong tables, video games and movie theater..awesome! There were vendors in the lobby several nights if you wanted souvenirs.. just steer clear of the pushy time share people..I wish they would stop time share people right in the lobby you have to walk by them every day to get to the main pool area There were 2 out of 3 elevators broken most of the week.. it was difficult to get to our room so we walked 5 flights in a hot stairwell a lot ..and 2x the elevator stopped in between floors while people on it..1 time people had to jump down to safety.. many were scared.. We met the manager the last night when there was a problem on our bill being double charged for room service when we had paid cash..but he quickly credited us the difference and fixed this once we spoke to him and not just the front desk staff. The manager was great. Overall, we were happy here. We have been here 6 times because we feel welcomed here, safe and love that the staff remember us and treat us so well. We travelled as a group of 4 Adults & 6 kids. Overall the experience was good. I would rank it a 4 star Positive - Great weather, Great Value as the kids we free, friendly staff, A-la-carte restaurants food was very good Negative - Pool water too cold, lunch buffet needs more variety...especially being in Mexico (more Mexican cuisine) Kids club is OK. Staff is great however the grounds need more space for parents to hang out while kids are there. Not every parent is content with leaving them.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort the room was beautiful and clean and no smell at all the balcony of the ocean view was spectacular the staff were very wonderful and helpful and it was a joy to watch all the children playing on the beach and seeing families connect together I would like to have seen more adult entertainment in the evening but overall it was terrific

Family vacation for 9 people - 5 adults and 4 children. We stayed here during Spring Break 2017. Nice quick ride from the airport, clean rooms, nice amenities with lots to do for everyone. Good buffet for breakfast and lunch. We enjoyed the a la carte restaurants (except for the Mexican one - they claimed they didn`t have our confirmed reservations and really didn`t care). Friendly staff, beautiful beach. On the downside, loud construction noise during the daytime when wee ones were trying to nap. We`d recommend this resort for families with young children - bring lots of sunscreen!

We had a great trip but we were very disappointed in the food this year. It was much better last year. It was also very noisy with a lot of young children. The rooms were fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy checking in and out. The weather was sunny and hot everyday. Not sure if I would stay at this particular resort again. We would maybe try a different resort next time.

From the kids club to the pools to the movie theater and games room, there is something for everyone. This was my first family vacation with all 4 of my boys (aged 5,7,12,22) We got 2 rooms on the main level in front of the pool with an ocean views. We had originally requested 2 double beds in each room but then upgraded one of the rooms to a king with a semi wall and a triple bunk on the other side. The kids had their own tv and it gave us parents a little separation. When I looked at the pricing through the travel agent it would have cost us much more to upgrade to that room category but only cost $300usd at the hotel. The little ones loved the ocean, kids club, water slides, pools etc. My 12 & 22 year old played water polo and beach volleyball daily and also enjoyed the pools. The food was great, there was always something to eat no matter what time it was. Even for the kids there was always something. The best waiter by far at the buffet was Pepe, he really took care of us. The best bar tender at the pool was Nieser. The staff was always happy and polite. I was nervous taking this many kids to an all inclusive but was pleasantly surprised and would definitely return. I am a resort snob usually and I found that all of my expectations were met and so were the kids. No-one was ever bored. We will definitely return. Enjoy!

The Crown Paradise Club took care of all our needs from the moment we arrived to the day we left. Wet were a group of 10 - 6 adults and 4 children. The kids enjoyed all the activities and slides each day. The food at the buffet and the a la cartes was excellent. Never hungry - especially with unlimited chicken wings for a 4 pm snack. The resort really caters to children with the special drink menu, water slides, zip lining and the shows being set at 8:30 pm so they were early enough for the kids to attend too. Adults were well taken care of with excellent drinks, food and some relax time while the children were being well cared for in the kids club. All the staff were very accommodating with every request being fulfilled with a smile. We have travelled to many all inclusive resorts over the past 16 years and would rate this as one of the best. We will definitely be returning.

We planned a trip for a family of 10 (3 families). We picked this one knowing it was not top of the line - but, not a lousy resort either. We arrived at noon and not a long line for the check in process. They had one of the three rooms ready. We had asked for the rooms to be in a row. They put two in a row and one far down the other side the building. It was frustrating that WE had to suggest a solution where all they had to do was research and see a spot opening up next to my family (3rd room) on the Saturday. So we asked to schedule the move. The move was done and a slight hassle - however, not taking it away from the trip. however, the attitude of the front desk I found very unhappy to be there. I lost a pair of sandals and shirt - they did not seem to care and did a poor job of checking lost and found. Both rooms we had were great and on the other side facing the broken down hurricane destroyed resort which was quieter and we had no issues. Petra for the first 2 days and Guatelupe for the last 5 were the best part of the resort. The cleaning aspect was perfect and the towel animals my kids loved. They always were smiling and we appreciated them the most of our stay. I found it a little frustrating the towel process. You are given 4 cards to cash in for towels. The whole process to stress about not losing your towels to avoid a fee is a little distracting from the leisure of the vacation. As well you need to go down at 630am to book chairs or by 8am your out of luck. Another area of stress for your "stress-less" vacation. The pools were all cold except the adults only which is an issue for many. It was not the fact they were cold - they were un-swimmable. What resort has pools that you cannot enjoy. This was a MAJOR turn off. The ocean was warmer and did most of our swimming there. The ocean is awesome and beach fantastic. We did try the adult pool and that was cold - however, by 1-2pm the side mini pools were very warm and enjoyed those. I found some of the bartenders crabby and unhappy. Some were ok - however, most were a little edgy which was surprising. Props to Luiz in the towel centre - he was always happy and very nice to deal with. Restaurants the family experienced all of them and they are better than buffet. Major love for the crab cakes in Wayne's boot and the Cannelloni with seafood in the Fisherman place. The kids club was great - my kids did not have a lot of love during the day. However, appreciated the evening programs from 7-9 where they camp out, do a Disney night, etc and they even took them to the evening show - quite a nice treat for the adults to have some time. Waterpark is great in kids club - just again ICE COLD. The resort we felt was poorly laid out as they had numerous areas that were empty and could have been utilized for something. However, we played a little basketball and tennis - no complaints here. Should have them both closer together though. The food is pointless to review because everyone has different tastes and to each their own. I will say the food was good - not great in the buffet. Weird taste to the juices, milk and some foods. So I drank pop most of the time and water. A lot of empty areas in the buffet as well which did not make sense. However, on the plus side the taco, crepe and pasta stations were always the family favourites and kept coming back for more. The funniest thing is bacon was sometimes out and sometimes not - we had to ask the chef (for the secret stash of bacon). We joked about a bacon shortage lol. Gym I used daily and have no complaints. They did have some machines down for the whole week. Come on guys letting a resort not fix something for over a week - that is a reflection in the strong negative side. Overall the family had a good time. We cannot complain and despite some of the negatives - I still rated this a 4/5 Suggestions that will never be addressed: - heat at least one of the MAIN pools to a better temperature - change the whole towel system and chair booking process - move the basketball and tennis closer together - make sure the front reception is staffed with more positive people - incorporate the wristband with being able to open the room door This is a dated resort and it does show it. However, still a good choice and only if they would implement a few things - I would consider going back. There are more options out there and more experiences to have. So they did not do enough to bring me back to this resort. However, as long as you keep your expectations relaxed you will have a great time. OH PS.... The Ice Cream in the buffet is awesome!!!!

just got back from Crown Paradise Club in Cancun. Just want to start off by saying the property is nice but just ok. It is basically a hotel on a nice beach and if you know that going in then you will enjoy your stay. I am used to staying at 4.5 to 5 star resorts and this it was not. That being said no one went hungray, no one got sick, and everyone (group of 12 ages from 10 to 50) had a good time. Hotel is a little dated but nice and clean. Only critizm is that they could use more bar staff. The waits at bars for drinks were long. Overall not bad place had a good time but I personally prefer resort style properties.

The resort was very noisy and busy! Al a cart restaurants were not great at all. Buffet was average! Long line ups for drinks at the bar by the beach, only one bartender there. Elevators were extemely slow. Wifi service was spotty at best. Beach was nice, but again very busy and loud! If you are looking for a quiet vacation this is not the resort to go to. Would not recommend!

The rooms were basic, the pools were nice. However the food was very poor. The buffet was always the same and not that great. the house red wine was undrinkable. The restaurants were disappointing - the food was often served cold or undercooked. We were also required to make reservations for the restaurants and we needed to call 2 or 3 days in advance to get a reservation earlier than 9pm. However, every time we ate in these restaurants they were more than half empty. The adult pool bar only had one bartender so it was usually along wait for drinks. It did seem like it would be a good resort for kids as there were lots of kids activities. I would rate this a 3 / 3.5 star. I will not stay here again.

Great layout, with most rooms facing ocean. Generally not too hard to find a chair, if you aren't picky about its location relative to pool. Italian a la carte was our fave, with well made pasta dishes (better than buffet). Mexican at the buffet was same if not better than restaurant version, where fajita meat was dry. French resto duck dish was amazing, but adults only. Loved how they did not overbook the a la cartes so you could take your time (we assume this was why). Desserts were good all around, especially ice cream quality. Coffee was a bit disappointing compared to other resorts we've tried in the region. Not the newest resort, but upkeep is good given its age. Service was usually very good, barring breakfast buffet where it is seat yourself and staff stuggle to keep up with the whole resort eating in one place (not their fault). I'd highly recommend this to a friend with kids - look for their 1/2 price deal for children. We traveled as a couple and paid more than my in-laws family of 4!

Location great close to airport and awesome beach. Hotel in genral was nice... nice bars , pools, baby club, huge kids club with tons to do, big kids water slides, great pools, and restaurants. Great entertainment and kids staff, I'd have to say top notch. Kids loved them. Nice shops, lobby, theatre and shows. Lots of Specialty restaurants and a few buffets as well as the main massive buffet. A great family resort with a ton to do for kids of all ages. Also a nice area and sections for adults only. But our rooms both needed work in the hotel. First room AC leaked water everywhere from the roof. Not a big deal they work hard. Our safe also quit working had to wait and get it fixed and room cards didn't work as much as they did work. Also got a good shock in the bathroom when I nicked the roof with my hand while hanging a shower towel. Then they moved us and the next room the belconly door did not lock or even close right. Not exceptable with a 2 year old in our room. But every time we had an issue they dealt with it on the spot the best they could. All and all I would go back and was more than pleased with this hotel and its staff.

The hotel was very nice. The hospitality, pools and the beach were amazing. We especially liked the kids sections - baby and kids paradise. No hidden charges were involved all inclusive. One thing that could be improved is the room facilities, some more English channels on the TV will be appreciated.

Stayed for 10 days in November. Everything was great, especially amenities for children. Though the sea was rough most of the time, still enjoyed the beach. For swimming pool lovers, there are several nice pools on different levels... The staff is exceptionally helpful, hospitable and friendly. All nights we slept with balcony door wide open, and there was not a single mosquito - first time ever, and we go south every year... My grandchildren made great friends with life-guards, especially with Pavel. He was so nice that even brought presents for the 2 boys when we were leaving.

Staff need improvement, very stressful staff ....the staff working en the lobby very rude.... Food is ok,toillets near to restaurants they are disgusting... We expect a better hotel for the price... When we arrived to cancun we was waiting for the transport too long...

GREAT FOR FAMILIES, LOTS OF ACTIVITIES, CLEAN, SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF AT THE POOL AND AT THE FRONT DESK, ALL ROOMS OCEAN VIEW, BEACH WAS FABULOUS WITH GORGEOUS TURQUOISE CLEAR WATERS AND PURE WHITE SAND. ENJOYED THE STEAK RESTO, THE ITALIAN RESTO, AND ROOM SERVICE WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD FOOD NOT AVAILABLE ON THE BUFFET WOULD HAVE GIVEN 4 STAR EXCEPT: THE BUFFET WAS POOR WITH LITTLE SELECTION,

Like it all except the buffet could be better. Great entertainment staff as well as Wayne's boots restaurant. Would go back and enjoy the adults only section. Sadly renos being done although it wasn't in the buffet area when it should have been.

This hotel was very clean and staff was super friendly. It can be difficult to find a good resort to keep small kids entertained, but our 1 and 5 year olds had a great time and did not want to leave. When they aren't taking part in the daily activities set up for them there are pools, water slides and the ocean! The food was excellent and great for our on-the-run lifestyle. The nightly shows were an added bonus after a fun filled day. The staff working here are A+. They remembered our kids names after the first day and always greated with a smile. Loved our stay at Crown Paradise!

Great Resort, Beautiful beach, staff is amazing from waiters to bartenders to concierge and front desk staff. Clubbing promoters could be more accomodating at the clubs themselves instead of leaving you there, Had a good stay.

This resort was great, the staff and entertainment staff really do make this resort a number 1 on our vacation list, we plan on going back. The food was good the hotel is great, great for families with children.

This was my second time at crown paradise and I don't think it will be my last . Wonderful friendly staff, beautiful grounds and well maintained, plenty of variety of food always available. Love this resort

The staff are very friendly and cater to you needs. Food choices are excellent at the resort or in town. Rooms are clean and f you have a problem its fixed quickly. Washroom in the pool area gets over used but if people were made aware of the one near the buffet restaurant it would relieve the pressure. Would return again.

This resort was clean, the rooms comfortable and there were lots of activities for kids, including the baby paradise club for our 2yr old. There is a good choice of restaurants for dinner and the buffet has a good selection of food for breakfast. If your kids eat lunch early (midday) there isn't a lot of options other than hotdogs/burgers or sushi (which wasn't great). The pools are awesome, watersides are great for the kids - but all of the pools are quite cold. We spent most of our time on the beach, which was really well looked after and the water was beautiful to swim in if calm, on windy days it can get very rough. The hotel house keeping staff were a little slow to deal with - our fridge didn't work for the first three days despite numerous requests, and we had to wait a while for a crib too. But otherwise a great trip for the money.

the hotel grounds were in good condition .My problem was the food at the buffet was cold until I complained to the hotel manager Carlos that our whole family of 5 has been ill. The dinner reservations is a joke no availability until late with young kids its jut not happening the hotel staff try's hard but sadly they are under staffed for the amount of guest staying at there establishment.

This was our first time staying at the Crown Paradise and we loved it. Rooms are clean. The grounds are beautiful not to mention the beautiful beach and sand. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. We never had any issues.

Great hotel, grounds and beach. Lots of variety for food, activities and pools. Amazing staff. Pool culture is loud, energetic and busy. We stayed at the beach with our 3 kids which was more our speed. Only complaint is that the washrooms are far from the beach and main pool. Only an inconvience but didn't affect our overall experience.

The resort staff was great and went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms were clean but dated. I was very impressed with the cleaning staff. We had switched rooms and accidentally left my wife's earrings in the vault. The cleaning staff tracked us down and returned the earrings. The resort was clean and the food was very good.

Kids club and water slides were great and loved by by kids. The burgers and fries at the poolside snack bar were great. Also, crapes station at LA Palapa was great. Mechanical Bull st Wayne's Booths ! Overall a great value for the family.

Food was fantastic, drinks were cold, sun was warm:) Staff were mostly helpful and accommodating. Tower 2 (adults only) was definitely nicer and better maintained than tower 1. Pools were lovely, entertainment could have been better located. (Hot, stuffy and crowded room indoors). Elevator in tower 1 (middle one) was super sketchy....first day we hit "lobby" and the doors opened to a cinder block wall with spray paint on it. Scared the pants off my 9 year old daughter. But we were lucky because the next day other guests got stuck in it for 15 minutes. The other two worked marginally better (stopped at EVERY floor on the way down and up). Overall, we would definitely return. Loved the area and the weather:)

This hotel was amazing in every way. The staff was friendly the grounds were clean the rooms were clean and the food was fantastic. We have nothing to say bad about this resort but to recommend it for a wonderful vacation

The resort was good, they were not very organized. Our rooms were not what we booked, but they changed our rooms the second night to accommodate. The pools were very busy, you could not get a seat- same with the beach.

The hotel was situated close to the airport which was great. Arriving in the morning and waiting until after 3 for check in was not. Outside grounds were kept very clean including the beach area. Not much shade on the beach we mostly situated ourselves in a private area overlooking the beach with partial shade but had to get up early to save those spots. Restaurants were adequate and the food was relatively good. All staff were polite. Maid service was exceptional. So my only complaint was that the rooms were quite tired. Our daughter-in-law was first checked into a family room which turned out to not be good at all. The bunk beds were so small the girls could not even sit up in them. There view partially overlooked the ocean and then to the dilapidated resort beside Crown Paradise...needless to say....they switched to a different room the next day. Our transat rep did not arrange the return transportation to the airport after we had booked it while at the hotel....took quite awhile to arrange a van.

This was by far the best resort it was very clean staff was very nice I wasn't to happy with food but I'll give it 4.5 star was lots to do on resort music was great I loved the pool on 1st floor outside
