This was our 8th trip to Hedo since 2005, and our first repeat visit since 2015. Everything about the resort itself has improved. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, all the bars are well stocked and service is quick and friendly, and the food is delicious. What hasn't changed are the amazing staff who create the most relaxing and perfect environment for the most romantic vacation possible. The other guests are as friendly and crazy as ever. There simply isn't another resort on the planet that can replicate the Hedo experience.

The rooms were clean the entertainment was very good lots of places to relax in the shade the food was excrllent lots of nufe people at nude beach lots of fun for everyone drinks were good. Thankyou

I got to the Hotel after finding out my transfer to the hotel didn't exist. The Reception had no booking records for me, staff was helpful and found me a room (7th visit) rooms are clean, food is great, staff is friendly and followed up with me to ensure I had a proper transfer to the airport. (taxi cost $100 from airport $150 back to airport) Sadly booking Rep and contact numbers provided were not helpful

Had a wonderful stay. A bit remote but had a very relaxing vacation. Great room, great grounds, great entertainment and great food. Wished entertainment extended further into the night considering it is an adult resort.

This place was amazing! Very fun! Very liberating! We had a great time once we got past the nudity. The staff was friendly and the bar tenders worked hard to make sure that everyone was happy. Only thing I’d recommend is the check in process should be a bit more informative to those who are there for the first time.

They've been putting some money into the resort over the past few years in renovations. We always have such a great time there. Staff are super friendly, great service all the time. This last trip we had an issue with our sink backing up. It was 9pm when we called the front desk, a plumber was in our room within 15 minutes and had it fixed! Nice water activities, we go snorkeling and always take advantage of sailing on the Hobi Cats. The beach crew continually rakes the beach for debris and keeps everything looking great. Lots of lounge chairs, never a line up. Love the lobster nights on Fridays!

The hotel has been upgraded so that past issues are no longer issues that distract from the reason we go there and guests can concentrate what they came for - connecting with other like minded vacationers. The food is not gourmet but is pretty good and each day has a different variety of dishes. The rooms are comfortable and the beach offers many activities for all guests (including free scuba, snorkeling and various boating activities). The staff are attentive, friendly and always willing to make all guests feel special.

The food and entertainment was above average. The beach is beautiful. But the website description is not accurate. There is nothing "prude" anywhere at the resort. Expect nudity every where including breakfast lunch and dinner in all the dining rooms.

The Hotel Entertainment Crew & Staff are super friendly & helpful. Good food selection for all meals. Plenty of beach towels available, & lots of lounge chairs in either shade or sun. Always Activities on Evenings. Rooms are nice, cleaned daily if required. This was our 2nd trip & we will be going back.

We had a great stay at Hedo 2! Great people and staff who were always on hand to help when needed. Loved that the hot tub and pool were open 24/7 and that you really had the freedom to do what you wanted. Would definitely recommend this resort and we will definitely be back in the near future!

Unfortunately, we are back in Toronto following an awesome week at Hedo. This was our third trip, and yes we updated our rock (picture attached). We stayed in one of the newly renovated room and it made a very nice difference, especially with the availability of WIFI. On the fun side, Winston does not seem to have change a bit and he rocked the stage as well as the fantastic entertainment crew. These people are just like WOW!!!!! The whole staff from cleaning ladies, bar attendants, reception crew, everyone was super friendly, always willing to help. You can't miss the piano bar, so much fun!!! Can't wait to go back. Now, things that could be improved... It would be great if the music during the Glow party was more like the foam or courtyard party instead of hard core hip hop and rap. The costume contests seem to be tainted by the groups attended that week meaning the best costumes did not win because some group members were participating and obviously got the support from their own group. Maybe the format should change and a judge panel should vote for the winners. The panel could be 2 people from the audience, 2 people from the entertainment crew, and why not maybe some staff from the dining room, bar, etc... That would be all. It was an amazing week and again, can't wait to be back... One word of advice, bring vinegar in case you have a close encounter with jellyfish... My girlfriend had one of these encounters and it is pretty painful but obviously, this is nature and nothing to do with Hedo specifically. Have fun and see you soon

The resort is stunning and very well maintained and clean as a whistle. Tons of fun to be had for all types of people alike never a boring night and tons of great entertainment if you can find the time to fit it all in. The staff is very friendly and always able to help and assist with any needs you may have

What a great time! I went as a solo female traveler. Everyone from staff to guests were happy,polite and a joy to be around ! No pressure or judgments at this hotel! You can be as naughty and or as nice as you want! If you’re looking for a relaxing , playfull time this place is for you ! The over all hotel could use some updating but you are having too much fun to notice! Plenty of pools,private areas and a clean beach! Solo or as a group, you will have a blast!

The beach is great , the staff is Absolutely perfect, the food has an excellent assortment and always great choices. Rooms very comfortable. Pools well up kept and great Times to be had by all. Night shows different 7 days a week and like being in Vegas. Piano Bar always a super time never know what's going to happen...lol. Recommend with A+ Good Times and Super People.

This resort has come a long way in the last 5-6 years since the new management took over. This resort goes well beyond the rooms, grounds and amenities, it is a place that provides a body positive experience to be who you are without pressure, prejudice or judgement. One should expect to experience a non stop party, see nudity and sexual behaviour.

We've been coming to Hedonism 2 since 2012, and it has improved dramatically in nearly every way since then. The rooms are small but nicely renovated, and we always had lots of water pressure at whatever temperature we wanted. The air conditioning works perfectly and wasn't too loud. The food is excellent in the dining room and in all 3 restaurants - tasty, abundant variety, and attractively presented. The nude pool snack building has way more variety, too. The staff are friendly and attentive. The grounds are beautiful - not 5-star, but very, very nice. There's now Wi-fi everywhere, not just in the astroturf patio area. The talented entertainment staff are a joy, though the sound quality needs improvement as it's too echoey and too loud. Snorkelling and glass-bottom boat tours are part of the all-inclusive package at no extra cost and leave right from the pier at the beach. Hang around at night to view the the spotted rays and barracudas feeding in the shallow waters. That's not the wild life I expected to see at Hedo! Other highlights include the beach meal and concert, fire jugglers, grand buffet with lobster, and high-energy mood the entertainment staff drum up even when they're not on stage. The legendary Hedo atmosphere for the open minded and not too squeamish is just as lively as it's ever been. Everything was clean - even the nude hot tub! The playroom is a beautiful Roman-bath inspired oasis. There's a newer playroom near the nude pool. It's all the fun and indulgence you could ask for. Too bad we couldn't partake of it for the whole trip. I've never been sick in Jamaica before, but boy was I ever this time. A gastro-intestinal bug made us lose two days in physical distress, not to mention the emotional distress of knowing it's costing us over $600 bucks a day to feel that bad. We were not the only ones, as we met several other couples where one or both were also sick. I strongly recommend that anyone going to Hedo take an oral vaccine available in drug stores to prevent traveller's diarrhea at least two weeks before leaving. The greater concern though is that something about the food acquisition/handling or water supply has changed to cause this problem that we'd never encountered or heard of others encountering at Hedo before. Overall, I recommend this resort, but beware that a risk more often associated with D.R. or Mexico is definitely here.

Everything here was top notch..food was very good with a great variety. Rooms were updated and very clean. The grounds were lucious and beautiful. The beaches were groomed and very nice. The entertainment crew was excellent. In all a positive experience.

Everything was very good to excellent. We are gym goers and this is the best I’ve been to in the Caribbean. Staff are all very attentive. Good variety of foods and restaurants. Beach was very welll maintained

Lots to do during the day.Scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding , sailing , kayaking,tennis. Many pools wild or quite. Nude pool lots of fun can get pretty wild. Very large hot tub also can get pretty wild late afternoon or after midnight. Food is average entertainment is very good. Nightlife is quite.Disco Club is always empty which was my main complaint during our stay.Overall a very enjoyable time. All shapes and sizes . Young and old.Average age 45.Long drive from airport 1 1/2 hours or more depending on the time of day.Driving through little towns that gives you a good feel of the Jamaican people.

This place is truly amazing! I came here to find myself and even as a single guy I had the time of my life and met some of the best people in my life. The staff were awesome and the whole resort was one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. I highly recommend Hedonism 2 and will be a repeat guest for life. Congrats Hedo you got everything right!

Had an amazing honeymoon, service was very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend checking the main lobby video screen for daily events and theme night updates. The Piano Bar is really fun with Winston, Dave and Stephanie. Agustus who rakes and cleans the prude beach was very nice. We also had massages by Marjorie and Keolisha who were amazing!

Clean, kind, fun, no pressure, great shows, food is better than most other resorts I have stayed at. Liberating, crazy at times, great staff. Great views, going back again for the 3rd time .... 200 characters required to post ... okay that sucks lol ... try it before you judge it

Overall we found the resort comfortable, clean and very much presentable. We had a great time at home for our first visit. We found the staff friendly, courteous and generally carrying about their jobs.

We love Hedo! We know that this place may not be for everyone, but if you have ever wanted to vacation in a place where everyone is happy, respectful and friendly, give Hedo a try! The beach is beautiful and the water warm! The food is great and most importantly the staff is amazing! They are caring, attentive and fun to be around. If every place was like Hedo, the world would be a very kind place. It is everything you think it is!

Renovations of the hotel were great , provided coolers of bottled water alone beach area . Very clean always had made service in all bathrooms . The entertainment staff put on amazing shows. Food was fantastic

My husband and I just returned from a 10-day stay at Hedonism II. Ten days was not enough. The place is beautifully clean. The food is terrific and abundant in choice. The beaches were raked and the grounds kept clean daily. The staff were terrific and always friendly. We love the entertainers....they are extremely talented and the shows are not to be missed. Our favorite of course was Ojell....what a nice guy and he couldn't do enough for us. We will be returning and were very, very sad to leave! The weather was perfect as well! Love Hedo.....Love Jamaica!

We like this resort (7th year running). It is a bit dated but they are in the process of renovating, but who spends much time in their rooms anyways. What we like most is the people who visit the resort. At most resorts we have visited over the last 25+ years, this is the only resort where almost everyone is friendly and willing to sit down and talk with you. I've found at other resorts most people pretty much keep to themselves. My only complaint is not about the resort but the flights. We flew WestJet from Ottawa. When I booked our trip it was a direct flight to Jamaica, with a connection in Toronto on the way back, but about a week after I booked, WestJet changed the direct flight to a connection in Toronto. This adds over 2 hours to the trip. On the return trip, even though our flight from Jamaica was on time, we pretty much had to run through the Toronto airport and made it to our connection gate 1 minute before boarding and that is only because we got to jump the cue at the multiple inspection points, after explaining our connection flight would be leaving soon. A big thank you to the Toronto airport personnel.

The hotel, staff, food, service and cleanliness were all top notch. Could not complain about a thing! We were in one of the updated rooms which was great. Trying to figure out how we can afford to go back soon.

Hedonism II is continually improving. The early years were my favourite; it languished and changed owners and five or so years into the new owners, it remains a continually improving, one of a kind experience. The food is very good. If you can't find something here you really are fussy beyond belief. The beach areas are quite nice; quiet water. The bar service is efficient and the staff are continually smiling and saying hi. That being said, most people are more interested in the debauchery and such that is possible at Hedo. It is what you make it. If you want to go crazy, be naked and try to interact with other people, you can. If you want to keep to yourself and do nothing, you can do that too. You will see stuff, it almost can't be avoided and if that traumatizes you, you should be at Sandals. But if an occasional dose of nudity works for you; if you want to wear those slutty dresses you cant wear at home, you can here and nobody cares or judges; its all in fun whether you participate more, less or not at all. The only reason you don't enjoy this place is because you didn't allow yourself too. I have always loved it. My girlfriend loves it. We are not swingers; but do enjoy the atmosphere and the resort. Period.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is unlike anything in the world. The people, the food, the laughter, the music, the friendship, the bonding takes you on a journey of exploration and freedom! A must experience! You will return!

Great resort! Most of the prude side is under reno and August is good timing since capacity is reduced during the rainy season. Food is excellent, top shelf alcohol, games and entertainment. I'll be back!

Rooms may be a little dated but honestly it doesn't matter. You don't go to Hedo to stay in your room. If that matters to you, go to Sandals next door. Food is awesome and entertainment can't be beat. The staff are the best. They are all friendly and go the extra mile. We have been there 5 times and will be back again before the end of the year. It is that kind of place. You definitely need to be comfortable with nudity since on the beach, the person wearing clothes will stand out. Usually first time vacationers will only need a couple hours to shed the bathing suit. Guests are all shapes and sizes and some of the friendliest you will meet. Beaches are nice and a bar is never far away. Leave your inhibitions are the gate and have the time of your life!

We stayed for 10 days which flew by . The staff are amazing as is the food and service . The entertainment is incredible .Our room was great and was newly renovated . The CEO is usually around and very personable . We have made many friends from our visit to this resort from all around the world . We are looking forward to returning there .

This resorts up keep is impeccable from grounds keeping to rooms and Staff. The food is amazing and always something to eat 24/7 from fine dined meals to having a pizza at 4 am. The entertainment is A1 in the evening and many day activities as well. The staff works well and beyond to keep everyone happy and comfortable. Met very many amazing people and new friends either donned in attire or without. The ambience is refreshing open and non judgemental of anyone. I definitely plan on going back next Winter maybe we will see and meet you their as well.

Although the rooms could need an upgrade, it was not important to us since we only were there to sleep and shower. The rest of the time we were either resting or having fun. There is one more restaurant comparing to last year. We will definitively go back again next year

The resort other than being a little dated, I would consider it a good resort. This was our 6th trip there, so it keeps drawing us back. Staff are friendly and the entertainment is very good compared to other resorts.

The hotel room was excellent, clean and well air-conditioned. And plenty of hot water. However, the resort is for couples who are "swingers", not for single guys like myself. Very few singles were there during my week there. In fact, a single person is at a major disadvantage there among swinger couples.

Hubby and I were both nervous and excited to try this resort. We were on the 'prude' side as opposed to the 'nude' side however by the end of the week we let it all go and had a blast on both sides. The resort is definitely not a five star resort but it makes up for the small rooms and basic amenities with excellent customer service, great night activities /theme parties and great food. Being a picky eater , I was worried but there was tons for me as well as local jerk chicken and pork for hubby. The beach was fantastic although don't forget your water shoes as it's rocky in areas and we saw crabs in the water and on the beach. Tanisha gave me two great massages on the beach and there was tons at the store to choose from when we needed souvenirs for friends and family. We will definitely be back!!

Resort was lovely, very clean and well maintained. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful and pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed been able to sunbathe naked and not feel uncomfortable. Entertainment at night needed more variety. There seemed to be a lull at night between 10:30 and 12:30 unless you went to nude pool and hot tub. Nude pool area was small but beach was lovely and very well maintained.

This was our first time at Hedo and we had a blast. If you break it down into categories some things could be better however overall experience is amazing. A sense of freedom, fun and relaxed atmosphere, parties, piano bar, there is something for everyone. Its great for swingers and also for open minded sexy people who are not in the lifestyle. A must try!

This resort offers attentive staff, exquisite food, atmosphere, nightly bodacious entertainment, as well as everything and anything your mind can muster up in the forbidden pursuit of pleasure, which is to what this resort caters. GO THERE!

The welcoming at this hotel is very personal. They take you to a lounge area in the lobby and give you the details you need. Returning guest get a warm welcome, with a meet and greet cocktail party. This hotel in the last few years has improved a lot. they have more renovations coming soon. The staff and guest are so friendly. The grounds are well kept, (which includes the washrooms on the beach) great service at dining room, on beach, and any excursions you book. We decide to go snorkelling one morning and when we arrived we were the only couple that morning. We ask if they were still going to go and with a smile on their face say, Ya man. Great service. They have a good variety of food, either in the dining room or on the beach. Entertainment at night starts around 8pm until 10:30, then you have options of going to the piano bar or the disco. This hotel has a relaxing atmosphere, were couples can find a place to be intimidate, during the day or night, or you can join in on the fun at the pool were the staff will keep you busy playing games.

Was a great trip ~ services were fine. Room was nice, old style though, bathroom requires renovation. Beach was nice and relaxing, no waves, calm waters. Super fun theme nights ~ great staff. Renovated rooms on the au natural side and a few on the prude side, which have hot tubs.

The resort is very well kept for its age. The grounds are kept very tidy on a daily basis. Much renovations have been done and are still being done to upgrade it, but did not affect our stay. The food was very good with a great selection. Resort was a little pricey but worth the stay compared to most.

I was a single female travelling alone for the very first time. I was looking for a resort that I could meet friendly people that weren't in their "honeymoon bubble". I was quite impressed how friendly everyone was. I arrived late in the evening and by the next day everyone, including staff knew my name (and it's not an easy one). The rooms were clean, although the dresser needs to be updated as the drawers get stuck. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. There were renovations occurring during my week of stay to the lobby, main restaurant and pool. The buffet restaurant was relocated to a tented area on the beach which also included the stage where the evening performances took place. All the pools were beautiful but the ones on the prude side were not used by many. Everyone was always in the nude section/pool. Due to the inconvenience of the construction, the hotel upgraded my room from a prude gardenview to a nude oceanview. They also included 2 excursions-- a catamaran tour which included snorkeling and swimming into caves and the second tour was a shopping tour and which also took you to Rick's cafe. Most of the staff were super friendly and had service with a smile. The nude pool bartenders.. well.. not so much, but they were still provided quick service. The buffet food wasn't bad but not amazing. I didn't go for the food. I still ate well. The 2 grills (prude and nude side) weren't bad either but they always offered only the same choices daily. The piano bar entertainment is a hoot! If you go.. please participate! Their are 2 entertainment employees that are so amazingly talented, it makes me wonder how they are not famous - Winston (Entertainment Manager) and Stephanie (piano bar). Bring your fun and crazy outfits and have a blast! I love this resort as it has a more natural rustic feel vs. the larger chain hotels that are pristine and immaculate. I felt more comfortable and relaxed because of the natural beauty. I'm hooked and I cannot wait to go back!

The place is lots of fun as long as you're ready for it, don't go if nudity or sexuality is an issue . The shows are very well done , the piano bar is fun , used to be better but still fun . I wish the beach didn't have so much seaweed

We had the most amazing time from every aspect Hedo has to offer. The food was amazing, drinks superb, loved the water sport, pool, gardens, beach, rooms, and the wild side. The entertainment staff are the best, and 99 percent of the guest are friendly

WE have been to Hedo 3 times so no surprises there....People there are genuine and so welcoming that you love to arrive and hate to leave. The real bonus here was tripcentral.ca Tammy was wonderful everything was as smooth as glass...with NO hiccups...and no unexpected surprises. WE will book all future travel with them...they were helpful, patient and accommodating (not to mention the best pricing we could find in CANADIAN $) thanks so much

The only thing bad I can say is the rooms are dated but they are clean. They are in the process of updating everything. We'll be going back again for our 5th time next year. If you don't like Jamaican food this is not the place for you.

Grounds are much nicer, food was fabulous, new owners have really brought this resort back. Know what this resort is before going, as Hedo is not for everyone. Most people are on the nude side all day long. Also check out the theme nights, try to bring one or two themed outfits. It is a very kick backed resort with a nude/adventurous side.

My boyfriend and I travelled to this resort in December of 2014. We did a lot of research before deciding on this resort as we are not lifestylers, and we were concerned that Hedo would be a overly-swingery environment. We were pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome environment:). Not creepy or swingery, but completely open minded and full of couples in love:) We loved the HarrySan and pasta restaurants, especially since the service was so customized and personable. Cyrene was an absolute delight, as well as Chris, the chef in the Japanese resto. The resort in general needs a lot of upgrades. The nude pool is a fun time, but fairly shabby. There is a beautiful pool off the main dining terrace, but no one uses IT as there is no swim up bar... And the location is weird. Our room was tidy, clean and comfy enough. The bathroom was not up to standards, the tub did not drain, and the water temp was inconsistent. The bathroom door opens into the tiny bathroom and doesnt allow a normal exit from the awkward shower. We had to climb over the toilet to exit the shower. The rooms did have sexy mirrors on the ceiling, which we loved! And there is iPod deck that played out tunes. It was great. Snorkelling was outstanding, and Kirk at the watersports desk was laid back and helpful. However, the website impliea free scuba, which is absolutely NOT the case. 350$ for scuba. We really loved the laid back open minded environment. We are super happy we went to Hedo during a slow week, as it can hey pretty crazy when a group takes over... And it would definitely not be for the faint of heart. As expected with nude resorts, it was mostly people 40+. And a lot of people 60+. It was glorious to see the older happy couples in love, smooching, holding hands and enjoying each other's company. :)

We were at Hedonism for a week in December 2014. It was in a quieter week which worked for us... no lineups for the bar and easy to get a place at the beach or pòol. The food was ok, but not amazing. The resort is well cared for and is having ongoing renovations. The entertainment in the main dining room was pretty amateur, but the piano bar was really good. If you are not comfortable with nudity and swingers, then don't go there, but otherwise it's a nice spot. We paid extra for a ocean view room... not worth it. There was no walkout to the beach or porch/patio if you want to sit outside your own room... unless you upgrade even more to a jacuzzi suite. The beach and pools were great and the staff were always pleasant and helpful.

I enjoyed the location. The people and service was very great. Having been my first nudist resort, I enjoyed the hole experience ! I plan to return in the near future. 2015. It was a very comfortable experience !

While Hedonism II is not for everyone and perhaps has seen better days, this returning guest still enjoyed a relaxing and interesting time there. The food was good and fresh and staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Entertainment ok and if you can stand a few bad nude bodies the hedonism is of the soft and friendly variety with swingers predominating and the vibe always very Jamaican
