Our hotel room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the Tower Isle. We enjoyed the sailing, snorkelling, and Jamaican dance class. We visited Couples Sans Souci for a day. Our favourite daytime spot was Tower Isle. Our favourite nighttime spot was the martini and piano bar. The Eight Rivers and Bayside restaurants were both excellent. We would definitely go back to Couples Jamaica, but might consider a longer stay and spend half the time at Tower Isle and the other half at Sans Souci.

We just returned from Couples Tower Isle and had a fantastic time. This is our second time to Tower Isles and we will definitely return again and again. Both times (March 25 and May 26) there was a marvelous breeze so even though it got up to 31° C, it was still very comfortable. The staff are amazing here, always willing to go the extra mile. The rooms, pools, bars, dining and entertainment was great. This is the second time that Robyn Plante booked us to Tower Isles. Robyn was a great help. We were so impressed with our Jamaica trip last March that we even booked a family Jamaica trip through Tripcentral last December at Iberostar Selection Suite. We had a great time there with the kids and grandkids. Victoria Guest helped us book as Robyn was away. I would highly recommend both agents and Tripcentral. We have been booking through Tripcentral for many years.

Couples Tower resort is a great size for getting around. It’s not too large and doesn’t feel like it’s overcrowded. The resort bars, restaurant (breakfast, lunch and buffet dinners) have good ocean side views. The ala-cart restaurants that require reservations were really good, good food and options on menu. All water activities are included with resort (so no fees!) The rooms could use a facelift with headboards and furniture as it’s older and made room smell moldy. The balcony view of gardens were very cool and private, kinda like a rain forest, very picturesque and tranquil. The beach is small but water is clear and good swimming and snorkeling.

This resort is older and smaller than the " hotels on a beach" type so everything was close and convient. Beautiful room although not a lot of time spent in it! Balcony overlooking the pool and ocean was fantastic. (We paid extra for premium ocean view which was worth it imo. We are seniors so not interested in the party/nightlife scene but enjoyed the early entertainment - music - every night. Food was great! Grounds well kept. All in all a great trip was had!

This property celebrates its history. If you are looking to feel transported to the 1950s, this is for you. Some areas are a little run down, but it hardly seem to matter. I had wonderful conversations with some of the staff who truly want guests to have a fantastic time and take pride in where they work. One of my favourites was with a sous chef, who offered to take me on the kitchen tour next time. If that is not a reason to go back, I don’t know what is. (Sadly it was while waiting for the airport shuttle when we had this conversation.) The grounds are beautiful, and an off chance remark made to a gardener while I was examining a flower became a 40 minute lesson on the island’s horticulture. This happened outside the scheduled grounds tour. The food is fantastic. The buffet always surprised me with its variety of Jamaican and international offerings. The a la carte restaurants served plates that almost seemed to pretty to eat. Everything was delicious. For those interested there were lots of GF options and they took food allergies seriously. The rooms were spotless, though we didn’t spend much time in ours. Most of the day was spent walking the grounds, at the pool, on the beach or on the island. We collapsed into bed before midnight so we could be outside all day.

If your looking for comfort, relaxation and true Jamaican charm this Couples Resort is for you from its beautiful beach, charming rooms and service second to none this resort checks all the boxes. Myself and my wife enjoyed it so much that we signed up to return,for a much needed vacation this was money well spent.

The resort is about a 1.5-hour drive from Montego Bay Airport (MBJ). On the way there, it felt more like a 40 minute ride, but the return trip felt longer—likely due to traffic or time of day. It’s definitely a bit of a drive from the main airport though. The resort has a mix of old and new in terms of aesthetics. You can tell the resorts been around for a while—hallways and rooms show some wear, like cracked balcony tiles, older furniture, and a shower that could use a little more care. But the lobby, restaurants, bars, and gift shop seem recently updated with a more modern feel. Everything was clean overall, though some areas could use some touch ups. Our room had a comfortable king-sized bed, though the bedding felt a bit rough—we mostly slept on top of the sheets and were fine. AC is available in the rooms but not in the lobby, hallways, or restaurants, so it can get hot when walking around. The in-room AC worked, but wasn’t very strong—we had it set to 60°F, and while it felt cool after being out for a while, if you started to move around a lot it would start to feel warm again despite the AC being on the coldest setting. We spent most of our time outside anyways, so the features of the room aren’t really something that’s too important for me. There was a large wall-mounted TV with limited channels, and the Wi-Fi worked best in the lobby. It was slow or spotty in the rooms, on the beach, and at restaurants. We appreciated the quiet grounds—no bugs or pests inside, just a few ants or bees outside. We also saw some tiny land and sea crabs, and a few adorable kittens roaming around. The food was great! There are 4 restaurants, and some require reservations—which you can make through the front desk or guest services. Bayside, the Asian-inspired restaurant, was our favorite. We also enjoyed the poolside buffet night with Jamaican/Caribbean dishes—it was a standout. The pool grill served delicious beef and chicken patties, which you could grab to-go and eat on the beach. Staff was really accommodating with food requests. Across the restaurants, buffets, and grills, there was a wide variety of foods provided, such as: omelets, bacon, plantains, cereals, soups, jerk chicken, oxtail, rice, burgers, tacos, steak, shrimp, pad Thai, curry, fruits, cheeses, desserts, and more. The food had that typical resort feel but was still flavorful and satisfying. Cocktails were strong but tasty—we especially enjoyed the jerk chicken, patties, and drinks. The beach was the best part. The water was calm, clear, warm, and shallow—a dream for non-swimmers like me. Most days had green flags, and only one was a yellow flag, when we noticed tiny fish swimming nearby. There’s a buoy line about 40 feet or more out that marks where the water gets deep, so there’s plenty of shallow space to enjoy. Best of all, there were hardly any vendors, so it felt very peaceful. They hardly had loud music playing too. We used our tiny personal speaker for some music while on the beach and by the pools. Keeping it at a low volume so not to disturb anyone. No one complained or commented. There’s also a small private island accessible by boat, but it is nude-only. Guests can visit clothed from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and take photos, but after 9 a.m. guests must be nude and no pictures allowed. I didn’t know the private island was nude only, so I was a bit disappointed as I wanted to spend more time there, clothed lol. But we still had fun enjoying the short boat ride to the private island, and spending 30min was just enough to take some stunning photos by the cliffs. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Couples Tower Isle for couples looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. It’s not a party resort—the average age was around 45+, but as a couple in our early 30s, we really appreciated the calm atmosphere, great food, strong drinks, and beautiful beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Beach--2.5/5 (small beach, very little shade, and not much for swimming) Water sports--2.5/5 (yellow flag every day except our last day which was green and all water sports were a go. This was odd as every day had the same windy weather; it looks like the water sports staff only want to take people water skiing once a week. Snorkelling was disappointing as there were not that many fish to see. Hobbie cat was fun) Food--3/5 (food was okay, best food was at the Verandah and Eight Rivers. Was eating a crab spring roll and pulled a one inch fish bone out of my mouth!) Service--2/5 (service not great. Staff fighting, staff standing around talking when people are waiting to be served) Rooms--3/5 (resort is in the middle of being renovated. Building staff take really good care of the building) Concierge--4/5 (promptly dealt with all requests and concerns) Location--2/5 (close to 2 hours from airport; near a main road so we heard a lot of loud trucks, motorcycles, and stereo music, not quiet) Golf--4/5-- at the Sandals Upton Golf and Country club. Course was okay, not on the ocean. Not too scenic or challenging--no water hazards. Staff were friendly and helpful) Quite a few couples make this their returning destination. One couple we met had been going there since 2006! Another couple for the last 8 years. So, there is something that keeps them coming back, maybe the pools and the au naturel island :)

Just returned from our first visit to Couples Tower Isle and would like to try other Couples resorts as we were very pleased with all they offered. After arriving in Jamaica we were welcomed at the Couples lounge with snacks and drinks. Got a nice but long 2 hour ride (due to traffic) to the resort where we were warmly welcomed with towels and drinks. Check in went quickly and we were given a garden view room in Building 3 on the second floor. The room was clean and comfy, had a nice view, fridge stocked according to our preference and everything worked. Our housekeeper did a great job all week tidying up our mess, and keeping the room clean and supplied with towels. It was easy to make reservations for the 2 specialty restaurants, to book the catamaran ride and to take part in the water sports. Service was excellent all throughout the resort even though they looked short staffed at one restaurant as the workers were running off their feet serving us. The sea was a bit cooler than expected and wavy for the first half of the week and some seaweed came in when it rained but it cleared up again the next day. Did not need to wear water shoes in the sea. However, the extra breeze kept the temperature very comfortable and mosquitos weren't a problem. Enjoyed playing pool and table tennis but the games room could use brighter lights. Would have liked more Jamaican food but still overate as the food was delicious. At this resort you can do lots or just relax. Can't wait to go to another Couples resort!

The staff was outstanding, everyone spoke and always had a smile! The food was a bit spicy but on a scale of one to 10, we would say a nine. Always plenty of variety and excellent desserts! The only drawback is the long drive from the airport .But the staff and location help you to overlook the one drawback!

Had an enjoyable week here. Room was clean and had all we needed. We were on the garden side. Very lush view, but next time I would go for the ocean side. Food was excellent. Bayside was our favorite. Only drawback for me was the amount of stairs because of sore hip and the beach is very small. Other than that would recommend this resort. It is small and we did meet lots of nice people. Shout out to Kay Ann.

Hotel was wonderful. The food was excellent and lots of variety! Staff was attentive and friendly. Wish we stayed longer. We will be going back! Rooms are clean and fridge always stocked. Bus ride is a little long but worth it!

HOTEL OVERALL: Exceptionally clean, not overcrowded and friendly. SERVICE: Exceptional by all except in a few cases in the buffet, eight rivers restaurant and poolside grill. FOOD: buffet breakfast and Veggie Bar are great. Poolside grill is good. Buffet lunch and dinners left much to be desired. SPA: the spa is fair. Definitely did not get the elevated spa experience based on the cost of services. NIGHTLIFE: Nightly entertainment is almost non-existent.

This is an older resort, but beautiful! It’s a small private beach, but there plenty of room for everyone! The food is fantastic! There is always something to do, even if there’s a red flag day, which means no water sports, or boat to the au natural island. This was not an issue for us, as we didn’t want to go to the island. We loved this place and my wife and I WILL be back!!! 🤙🇯🇲❤️

Well maintained Art Deco hotel from the 1950's. The original Couples resort still delivers. Beautiful beach although not a long one. Bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. We had an ocean view room and had breakfast on the balcony every day. Majority of meals at all the restaurants were very good. The beach party was great and all the nightly entertainment we saw was excellent. We were always able to find a shaded lounge chair on the beach and the place never felt crowded. Were able to partake in all of the watersports as well. The best part of Jamaica however is the people. Everyone working at the resort and the drivers/chauffeurs were very friendly and personable. Just wish it was a little closer to the airport.

Unfortunately my wife and I were not thrilled with the Couples Tower Isle resort. The food was ok, service was slow and the rooms / amenities were very old. We would not go back. Being a Couples resort we were left a bit speechless. Our first impressions were not great. The staff at the front desk were not friendly, welcoming or even smiled upon arrival. We were then walked to the far end of the resort to our room down a dark hallway which was a bit frightening as the lights were off. We later found out that they try and conserve energy and they are turned off during certain hours of the day. A simple explanation on our way to our room would have went a long way rather then walking us down a black hallway. The elevator has ripped carpet, and an excessive amount of streaking down the doors and mirrors. First impressions felt like a run down dirty motel. Rooms - The rooms were ok. View was excellent (which was the best part) ! Mattress was hard as a rock! Mini bar had 1 pepsi and 1 sprite in it as well as two beer. You get a 20 year old coffee maker as well as a very old beaten up storage unit for the mini bar and coffee maker to sit in. Our shower curtain was hung way to high so it was almost impossible to enjoy a shower without half flooding the bathroom. We tried everything to keep the water in the shower but it was near impossible. Tv's were good and channel selection was also decent. Wifi to the room was very spotty, slow and inconsistent. This is not a place to bring a laptop and complete work at. Bars - Always slow and ran out of popular drinks such as Mojito mix, Champaign, Scotch etc. At times the bartenders were outnumbered with 30 guest circling for a drink and 1 bartender working. The main bar which is near the buffet was always slammed. There was always a wait and always 1-2 servers waiting to collect drinks for their tables. At times, it just wasn't worth standing around waiting for a drink. The bar within the piano bar is better, but also ran out of Champaign and Scotch. Most nights, while watching the entertainment the bartender would be by himself with over 50 guests with servers popping in for drinks for their tables. You should never run out of drinks at an all inclusive. The third bar, which is in the pool, we never actually went to. (Reason coming below) Buffet - Was not too bad. Food was decent but I found there was not a lot of options for people like myself who were allergic to Shellfish. The service was always spotty in the buffet. Sometimes they would fill your coffee and water consistently and sometimes you were having to flag a server down to get a refill of coffee or water. One meal, my wife asked the server for some cutlery as there was not any on the table and they server just never came back. However, the number one thing that was not good at the Buffet was ordering an Alcoholic beverage. Almost every single time we ordered a drink from the bar it just didn't show up or would show up once you had already finished your meal. Breakfast was pretty good, although their machine that toast bread and bagels was broken almost every morning which was frustrating. This would require a server to unplug it, let it cool down and turn it back on. At this point, you give up on anything toasted. I also find it odd that the resort workers would sit and eat at the buffet including the onsite personal trainer. On our last meal, we were having breakfast before heading to the airport and I ate a piece undercooked sausage by accident. Within 4 hours, I was so sick I almost didn't make it on my plane home. I'm on day 4 and I am still stick. I only ever ate at the resort so if It wasn't the sausage it was something else. The Verandah - Service was ok. Our server brought us the wrong appetizers and made jokes to us that we were wrong and just changed our minds. I assured her that she made a mistake which just wouldn't accept. She did end up getting us the correct appetizers after some back and forth about it. They ran out of Wine and Champaign at dinner and we were only able to enjoy 1 glass. (How do you keep running out???) The food was pretty good, steak was decent. Desert was really good in my opinion. Bayside - This was the worst place to eat at the resort. The view and setting was excellent. To ensure my wife and I got a great seat we showed up a bit early and were first in line to get seated. I wanted a seat on the farthest end which has the best view of the ocean. The server quickly began sitting us to the opposite side. I told her I would prefer to sit on the other end for the great view and she said we were not allowed. We had to negotiate to sit in the middle of the restaurant. I quickly realized that the hostess was sitting the seniors in the best spots and the younger crowd on the end she tried to sit us. The food was awful. Udon noodles were actually fettuccine and the dish was so spicy that my wife and I could not eat it. My wife also complained that her soup tasted like warm water. (Oh, How could I forget? They ran our of Champaign....we were the first seating of the night). We ended up hitting the buffet after and enjoying some awful heartburn from the Bayside. Eight Rivers - This was the resorts best attempt at fine dining. Be careful of the dress code or you will have to quickly run back to your room and change. First time we went I wore sandals. Second time we went, sandals were not acceptable. Our server which we had twice was the best server we had all week!! She was excellent, her name started with an S, unfortunately I forget it. MY only complaint for this place was the bottle of wine we ordered which was $35 USD showed up more then half way through out meal. We had to sit and finish the bottle even after we were done desert. The second time we went, my menu and my wife menu showed completely different items which we didn't realize until we both tried to order. One menu was right and the other was not correct. Veggie Bar - My wife tried the veggie bar for lunch. 45 mins to get some spring rolls and a coconut drink... Food was not great. Grilled Cheese tasted off. She never went back to it. Pool Side Lunch - Service was so slow. at least 1 hr. to get in and out of that place. The area where they have plants hanging on the far wall are moldy and dirty. It did nothing to add to the look and feel of the place. There is quick options to grab food on you way out. You can choose from Nacho's, Popcorn, or Ice Cream. The Nacho chip warmer and popcorn machine looked to be about 30 years old. This is a high end resort, why have such old appliance on a counter? The expresso Machine was out of service during the only time my wife wanted a nice coffee during the trip. They simply laid a table cloth over it. The Jerk Dogs were pretty good as well as the onion rings. Everything else on the menu was questionable. Our server dropped our packages of ketchup and mustard on the floor and I watched him put them back onto the plate and bring it to our table anyways... Gross. In Suite dining - The only time we wanted to utilize this service was for coffee in the morning. I called the front desk and the only time they would drop off the coffee was between 6-6:30 am. I told them that was too early and I would like coffee for 7:30 and they would not accommodate it. This forced me to purchased two expensive travel mugs from the gift shop to fill up each morning at the buffet and bring back to our room for a morning coffee on our balcony. Side note: Lady working in the gift shop is miserable and the servers would often stare at me and give me dirty looks for filling up a travel mug of coffee in the morning rather then use their tiny cups. Cleanliness of Room - Was good. However, our routine on vacation is always to rest from the sun and take a quick nap between 3-5 pm before dinner. IT was disappointing when most of the time the cleaning ladies would not show up to our room until later in the afternoon which prevented us from being able to do this. There was times we would want to utilize our room late in the afternoon and it was still being cleaned. Pools - Pools were good. I wasn't a fan of the pool on the east end of the resort only because a large group was their every day. They acted like they owned that are and would take every single cushion off the lawn chairs and use them to build a Volleyball net. This was not the pool to hangout and lounge in which this large group taking over. Was disappointed the bartenders didn't put a stop to it. Excursions - Duns river, Catamaran and Snorkeling were excellent and free through the resort. This was free and well organized and on time! I questioned why there was so many workers sitting around socializing on the days where watersports were canceled and there was still 1 bartender Piano Bar - This was our favorite part! The entertainer at 9:30 every night was amazing and we really enjoyed him. Drinking Water - There is not bottled water on the resort. You must use your free plastic bottle in your room and fill up at their drinking water stations. I still had a hard time trusting the water and bottled water should always be available at a resort. Transportation - The resort did not have contact information for an Air Canada rep and the only person they had contact information for at Air Canada retired 3 years ago. This made booking our trip back to the airport challenging and took over 2 hours on the phone on hold to get it figured out. In summary, I felt that the servers and culture of the staff was low. Very few seemed happy to be there or even enjoyed their interactions with us as guests. I often wondered if the pandemic has put some serious financial strain on the people as well as the resorts. Everyone seemed out of practice. Considering the price we paid and the reputation of Couples resorts, I was beyond disappointed with our experience. I've been to less popular resorts in Mexico and Dominican and had way better experience.

We certainly enjoyed our stay at CTI, it was our first adults only and first time at the couple's chain... No regrets. They did a great job on everything that was within their control to make our vacation great! Location makes it not the best for weather and usable Beach area is smaller than it looks in the photos ( and quite seaweedy), but if you're a pool person, who cares?

We return to Tower Isle as much as we can, and always enjoy everything it has to offer. Food,Ocean,Staff are the best. Atmosphere is vintage which we love! Hotel was built in the 1950's and the décor is from that era. Garden tour is amazing with Hayden, he explains all the wonderful plants and trees. Liquor is top shelf and bartenders attentive.See you soon Couples!!!

The resort was clean, bright, well maintained. I didn't hear anyone complain about anything, the tourists at the resort were all smiling, the staff was always smiling. The resort has water activities, craft activities, sporting activities, games to play and activities for all to do. There was stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkling, scuba diving, water bikes, sailing, windsurfing, glass bottom boat tours, etc., there was also sitting on the beach enjoying the sun or at the pools. There were evening activities on the main deck, at the pool, in the piano bar, your choice to participate or not. All in all, it was a great trip. The weather wasn't the greatest all the time, but you really didn't notice.

Hotel was extremely clean there were always maintenance crews fixing and painting. Everyone had an amazing attitude. The owners treat their staff well and it shows! Will def be back .. it was raining during our wedding and they moved the time to accommodate for no rain

This hotel has a private beach which, though small, was fabulous. Service was great, water beautiful, and the private nude island is a definite must see. The variety of food was great - we stayed 8 days and didn't see much repeat. We got reservations when we wanted them (more than once) and the included excursions are thoughtfully planned. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this isn't for you. But if you are looking for more peace and relaxation, then you'll love it. One bad thing? Almost 2 hours away from Montego Airport.

Almost everything about this resort was nothing short of wonderful! It was worth the long drive from the Montego Bay airport (~90 min), still got a nice scenic drive. The resort is well taken care of, the room we had (deluxe ocean view) was spacious enough for us and I like a nice room! The dining choices were all exceptional, even the buffet was amazing (and I have never said that of any buffet choice at a resort). The only thing that I found bothersome was the veggie bar by the beach. This was one of the reasons we booked at Tower Isle, this was promoted as having healthy smoothies and juices with some meal choices as well (we are veggie people) - well, that much was true but the service was horrendous. Not sure why, everywhere else had fantastic service. Disappointing but we made do. The entertainment was always exceptional. And I cannot say enough about the staff - they worked tirelessly to set up, tear down (and so on) each new event taking place. Amazing!

This was our 2nd stay at this resort, it is a unique property, small in terms of the resort itself and amount of rooms. Highly recommend, it just depends what's important to you: Pros - the entire resort is adults only (you don't have to venture over to a family resort to access some of the services) - food is amazing, service is outstanding & the options are varied - the staff are great, laid back, but ready to serve - since it small & right on the ocean, most rooms and facilities have great views (you can see the ocean from your bed). Many extras included, catamaran tour, glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing, Dunn's river falls, shopping tour, hobie cats, paddle boards, kayaks, windsurfing - no tipping - shuttle to tower isle for nude sunbathing option available - floaties provided on all lawn chairs which you can bring into the pools/ocean - nice gym and yoga room - on site spa is amazing. Cons - small beach (nice but can't go for long walks) - no shade from umbrellas or palapas (just palms trees & building, by pool) - boats for all the services are parked in front of the beach area - the dock is a bit of an eyesore - not sure this is a con, since I see the environmental benefits, but you will need to fill up water bottles at the fountains provided on each floor. .

The resort was by far one the best stay that I have stayed in. I have been traveling for nearly 20 years. This was our 2 wedding the staff made memorable in our every day stay there . weather was beautiful . restaurant where very flavourfull .

Loved 8 rivers restaurant dined there 3 times. Didn't care for the Fusion restaurant. My wifes lobster was overcooked and food was too spicy even when asking for mild. Staff were great in all areas including the garden staff that answered all our questions regarding local flora and fauna. It was also nice not to carry around a bunch of cash because there not allowed to accept tips, and we tried. Room had a bit of a musty smell so they upgraded us. The staff member that did our turn down service seemed disappointed that we turned down the service so we had her do it for the remainder of our stay. She really seemed to enjoy her job. We realized afterwards that they had a different themed buffet everyday so next time we'll try it more often, but there is so much to choose from you can't try everything in 7 days, but we tried.

We chose this resort as not only for a holiday but for our wedding as well. They went above and beyond. The resort itself beautiful and private, yet plenty around to do if you want to do excursions. The staff and service were phenomenal. The food was amazing and plenty of restaurants to chose from. The grounds are beautiful....from front ocean view to the back garden area. Entertainment was fantastic as well with a few theme nights thrown in and fun activities during the day as well. They absolutely made my wedding perfect. A big thank you to the spa whom did my hair,make-up and complimentary massages. Definately returning in the future.

We absolutely loved this resort!! Only 220 rooms. No line-ups for anything! Food was great, staff were very acommodating. The nude sunbathing island was definitely our favorite part of this resort. No more tan lines. The fact that there is so much included is also a huge bonus. Trips to Dunn's River Falls, catamaran, glass bottom boat, water-skiing, knee boarding, all included. It's a bit of a drive from the airport though (2hrs), which isn't bad if you are driving in the day, and can look at everything. We felt very at home here!

We had a problem with a mildew odor in our room. I know it happens in the tropics, so they moved and upgraded us. The only difference we could see was a better ocean view and no odor. We didn't seem to have any control of the temperature in the room, you could adjust the thermostat but it never seemed to shut off causing some cold mornings. We never addressed the problem with the hotel so im not blaming them we just wanted to relax in the heat outsde and enjoy our trip. I've never had better service and food anywhere and the fact the staff are not allowed to take tips (we tried) makes it that much more relaxing. I would highly recommend this place.

The reviews for this resort were great so I had high expectations. I was very disappointed with our stay. For 2200$ per person for a basic room I expected working light bulbs, access to my room, ice, water and beverages! Stayed at Couples Tower Isle Nov 25-Dec 2 The cons: -room light burnt out, no bulbs available entire week -frequent power outages day 1 -door lock broke, locked out of room x 2hours day 2 -elevators broke 2 days of trip -soda machines empty x2 days -water fountains jack hammered out of the walls on day 4, not repaired -ice machine broke 1 day -hair dryer broke on arrival, this was replaced -room service spilled coffee in room on day 2, they removed the soiled pillows and floor mats and linens but never replaced the pillows or mats. Never cleaned or changed the soiled curtain with 4ft coffee stain The pros: beach and water sports were amazing, staff were friendly and I didn’t feel pressure to tip. Food was good but service was a mix of good bad and so-so Overall the daily issues with the resort made it difficult to relax and enjoy my vacation. I would not recommend this resort and do not plan to return. I have had much better experiences with other all inclusives for half the cost.

Just recently returned from our trip to Couples Tower Isle in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We were there the first week of November 2018 and booked via the Tripcentral web site. This was our second trip to a couples resort, the first being to San Souci in Nov 2015. Arrival at Montego Bay airport was on time and we had cleared customs, retrieved luggage and were in the couples lounge at the airport in under 30 minutes. We waited in the lounge for about 20 minutes, time for two Red Stripes and to use the washroom and we were off for about a 2 hour drive to the resort. Arrival at the lobby, we were welcomed by friendly staff at reception, given a rum punch and a cold towel.Check in was just a few minutes and we were off to our room (garden view in building 3, 2nd floor). The room was very quiet at night for sleeping. Some rooms and the main hallway had a lot of painting going on during the day. Elevators were available in this building for those with mobility issues. The room was spotless when we arrived. It had a large bed, balcony with 2 chairs and a table, washroom with a shower (no tub), vanity as well as a hair dryer and some soaps/shampoo. It also had a large walk-in closet to store luggage and the safe was located here along with an ironing board and iron. The room also had a mini fridge that was stocked with pop, water, some juice and two Red Stripes. You could also order full bottles of wine and liquor delivered to your room at no charge, but also available at extra cost were more expensive brands of wine and liquor. One comment I heard a lot about Tower Isle is how much people like that everything is connected to the main building. There are elevators for those who have difficulty with stairs. If it is raining you will not get wet (unless you are walking to the Bayside restaurant). There were lots of people who were repeat visitors. Staff I have to say the people who work here at the resort were very friendly to visit with and very attentive. This was a common comment I heard all week from other guests, but I would completely agree with. Very nice people. Food / Drinks We were fortunate enough to enjoy all of the restaurants at Tower Isle. We did not order room service but it was available. Our favourite restaurant was Bayside, as we love to eat out in the open air in the Caribbean and it was built out over the ocean. Food at all venues was excellent. The Patio (also open air) for daily breakfast buffet was more than adequate to start the day, while we varied it a bit between the Pool Grill for lunch and the Veggie Bar for snacks. Service was good in all restaurant venues. Loved the soup’s, we tried them every day. The patio converts to a served meal for dinner service and the other great option to eat was the Verandah. Eight Rivers is the more formal restaurant (dress code) and was also excellent. Martini bar is on the roof, Sundays and Wednesday’s. Gala was on Saturday, Beach Party and Repeaters dinner was on Monday’s. All fun events and well run. Loved the nacho’s and ice cream in the Pool Grill daily. Entertainment We took in some of the entertainment but we turn in a bit early to get up early. What we saw was very good. The steel drum Silverbirds were there one night and throughout the week they had a lot of different singers, all very good, but we missed a lot of it due to our dinner eating times or we headed over to the spa for some hot tub and mineral pool time before turning in. Island The Au Natural island can be visited early in the morning if you want to go over with clothing on and just look around and take some pictures. It converts to Au Natural around 9am until about 5pm. Catch the pontoon boat at the pier and they will take you over and bring you back. I don’t think we ever waited longer than a minute or two for the pontoon boat at either end of the trip. The island has lots of loungers, a small pool to cool down in, a well stocked bar, lots of shade if needed, a washroom. They also bring over some food and have a bbq there as well for lunch. The entertainment staff also run a game or two over there during the day. They Have some music playing at the bar. Loved watching the crabs climb on the rocks. The island was only closed one day for us due to weather, so we did a trading places to Sans Souci. It can also close early if a wedding Is set up. Check with guest services to find out which days they have weddings planned. Spa We enjoyed the hot tub and the mineral pool in the evening at the spa. Hot tub first then cool down in the mineral pool. Great way to end the day. Part of the reason we missed some of the entertainment. Take a towel. Trading Places We ended up trading places one day as the island was closed due to high winds. So we boarded the shuttle bus that Will take you over to Sans Souci from about 10:00am until about 4:00pm. We loved visiting Sans Souci again. Drinks and lunch were good as was the pool volleyball. Looking back, the things that really stood out for Tower Isle were the dining, the friendly staff and all of the nice people we were lucky enough to meet from Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom and a couple from Germany. We will definitely return for a visit some day and I would also recommend it to others.

This was are fourth time at this resort. It still meets are expectations. The grounds are well kept and the resort is clean. ( Even though it was off season and they were painting ) We ate at all the restaurants and the food was fabulous. The staff was friendly and helpful if we needed anything. Will go again next year.

This was our third trip to this resort, and it still continues to amaze us at how great this resort is. Everything from the staff, food, accommodations, spa and beach was truly fabulous. We truly enjoyed every minute from our arrival at the Carlingview Hotel in Toronto for Sleep, Park and Fly, the night before our flight, right up until we returned home. We are already looking at dates to return next year. The people you meet at this resort become friends, and i have never experienced the same connections at other resorts we have stayed at. The staff also become your friends and they even remember you from previous stays.

This is our 3rd time to Couples Tower Isle and it is still the only place we have repeated. The resort is kept immaculate. The common areas have all been updated with new furnishings since our last visit 5 years ago. While the bed is very comfortable, it is time to update the rooms. We can't say enough about the friendliness, courtesy and service attitude of all of the staff. I requested vegan meals, spoke to the chef the first night and something was prepared on the spot. In subsequent nights the guest services had emailed the restaurants we had chosen to eat at, and the chef's all had something prepared when I went to order. The pools and grounds are constantly being cleaned and swept. While the beach is small, it is raked every day and they have put up some canopies to provide shade.

This is by far our favourite resort. The service is top notch and the hotel and grounds leaves nothing more to be desired. We've been to several other chains on various other islands and nothing compares to this in our opinion, as far as value for price. There seems to be no request the staff are not willing to accommodate. The food is delicious and offers lots of variety at the buffets as well as the a la carte restaurants. We really appreciate the no tipping policy as it just makes our stay that much more relaxing. While this might be considered a quieter resort than some, that suits our preference. Having said that though, there is still lost to do throughout the day and evening. Check-in/Check-out is done quickly and efficiently and we really appreciate that Couples has its own airport arrivals lounge and shuttle to and from the resort. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.

The resort is awesome as soon as you arrive. Staff are excellent. They remodeled the resort with new furniture and a nice face lift. The food is fantastic especially Eight Rivers. Everything is truly included from scuba diving to golf . I have been there 4 times and will not hesitate to go back next year .

Resort was out dated, rooms need mush help. Staff not very friendly. golfing was terrible staff at the pro shop very rude Over all Food was good. Room staff were good. Beach was very small but cleaned every morning.

We had a great vacation at the Couples Tower Isle in Jamaica. I would highly recommend it to someone looking for a great beach. The rooms were clean! Food was good! Staff and evening activities were awesome!

Tried to do Nature Walk, tour guide show up half an hour late. My brother was looking forward to do yoga, class was cancelled without notice. Game/Excecise Room-good Overall, the service of this resort is beyond good and I would recommend to friends however when we went for breakfast with our backpacks(we are a group of 4) on our last day, although we sat beside the service station with 3 waiters we've got no attention from any of them!

Small resort, clean and service exceed expectations. Like the no tipping policy however still observed staffs accept tips. Food was good but lack varieties. Entertainments was good at night. Location is too far from the airport.

The resort was just beautiful. No negatives at all.. Rooms spotless, and turn down service each night. Food was excellent, mini bar always filled, and King bed very comfortable. Always hot water, and Shower was awesome.. Tower Isle was so nice. Food excellent and drinks too. We will certainly try to return, depending on cost. The staff were the best we have ever had... and we have been travelling since 1995

This was our second visit to the resort. We love the resort but we did have issues with our room this time. When we booked the trip we requested that our room be located close to the room of friends that we were travelling with. When we checked in I noticed that our room numbers were very different. When asked why they explained that they gave our friends an upgrade but not us. We were quite disappointed but checked into our room and unpacked. After a few hours we realized the air conditioning in our room was not working properly. They sent a repair man and after some discussion we were assigned another room. This room was smaller and at the other end of the resort. The room had a great view but there were issues with the shower water temperatures. The water temperature would become very hot without warning. Last year booked an Ocean Premiere Room and had no issues. This time we booked a Deluxe Oceanview. Next time I would think twice before booking this room category. The resort does need to renovate the rooms. The nightly entertainment could also be improved because it's often very dated. Saturday night was the worst night. The staff here are very friendly. The free activities- scuba, snorkelling trips and excursions keep us coming back. The food is also very good. We will likely go back again but some improvements could be made to make this resort even better. My review last year would have been much better.

We loved that it was a small resort, just steps to everything you need. The staff here were outstanding! It was an Anniversary, 50th Birthday vacation and it couldn't have been better! The food at all of the restaurants was wonderful, but the private dinner on the island was the best! (Bayside was nice location but the food could have been hotter, very tasty otherwise)

This resort was 5 star service was above and beyond very friendly and always asking if everything is ok. The food was excellent with a wide variety with something different everyday. Free room service was fast and efficient. Beach party was free of charge with buffet dinner on the beach with fabulous entertainment every night. Would diffently recommend this resort.

What can I say, the food, the service, the atmosphere..... everything was exceptional. We didn't want to leave. It was a little far from the airport but, if you get a drink for the ride it's not so bad. We also liked the proximity to Dunn's River and the fact that it was included in the price. We will definitely be returning.

everything was perfect. The food was great, the staff were simply amazing, The non tipping policy on this resort is nice because you don't have to carry any money with you. The entertainment was also unbelievable. Tried for the last three weeks to find something I could complaint about.....still searching. The resort was absolutely beautiful! The staff were excellent and friendly. My only complaint would be that the hot tubes were very dated, they could have had drink menus and the beach is a bit small. We had an excellent time nonetheless. Food was great and activities included were a blast. I wouldn't recommend going in the Piano Bar it smelt horribly of mould!

We definitely recommend Couples Tower Isle in Ocho Rios . The staff is professional, fun and friendly. The hotel, rooms and grounds are very well maintained and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the included activities such as the catamaran, glass bottom boat and hobie cat rides as well as the use of the kayaks. The music and other entertainment offered are excellent . The Patio buffet and a la carte restaurants are very good. We particularly liked "The Verandah" where the food was top notch and service well-paced. The beach is small and, therefore, not given to long walks but we knew this before going, There was never an issue getting a beach chair or fresh towels which were abundant. We had several theme nights and the staff was amazingly proficient at setting up and providing excellent service. All in all, this resort is very good value.

Once again, the staff at Tower Isle did not disappoint. Exceptional service, food and activities are all part of the norm. We will definitely be going back. Its so nice to come home and be remembered by front desk staff, management, waiters, bartenders and water sports personnel.

This was our 4th visit to Couples Tower Isle. The resort, staff, food and atmosphere all incredible. The hotel itself has super sea views, there's always a free beach or pool chaise and the food, out of this world. It's a very GLAM resort.

Food is the best from all the Couples resorts. It was the best I have had in the 9 times I have been to Jamaica. The resort itself is beautiful. Rooms are old and dated but were always super clean. If you are looking for a beach this is not the place for you. It is very small and the water had alot of waves. The staff were very good and super polite. I would return here strickly for the food. It was that good.

We had a great time. Food was outstanding, beach is great, rooms are very clean, resort is well kept..was the right pick for us..price was fair. Excursions were well ran meet a lot of nice people. And we enjoyed the island very nice add on to a great spot.

We went to couples tower island for our honeymoon. It did not disappoint. The food is fantastic, the staff are wonderful, excursions are included and the rooms are spotless. Got to get up early to get a spot at swim up bar pool but loads of space at the beautiful beach. We went over Christmas and the daytime entertainment was great - rasta claus gave out gifts and we had our pics taken in a Jamaican bobsled!

We had another great holiday to Couples resorts, Couples Tower Isle has wonderful food with 4 restaurants to choose from, only 2 requiring reservations. We were just here for 5 nights to surprise some friends but really enjoyed the island every day. Our room had a lovely ocean view and was very clean and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make sure your holiday is everything you want it to be. We will return here again.

Hotel, staff, food, atmoshpere were all amazing......perfect amount of activities and excursions included to make even more memories!! Rooms were large enough, but the bed was really hard, i was sore the whole trip. The mini bar was not automatically stocked everyday like it has been at past resorts, which was annoying to have to call each time you wanted something, and the call had to be made by a certain time. Everything you needed or wanted the staff did everything they could to accommodate you which was great! Overall we had an amazing time, and we are looking forward to our vacation next year

This was our 2nd visit to Couples Tower Isle. This resort is so lovely, the service is unbelievable and the food was great !!!! The staff work extremely hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Check in was a breeze, staff at the front desk were very helpful & extremely friendly. The servers worked nonstop to shuttle drinks back & forth from bar to beach and always with a smile. Contrary to most resorts in the Caribbean, the service (all areas) is fast and very efficient.

Awesome service and food was amazing!! Great for couples wanting to have a getaway. Beach was windy and lots of debris staff was constantly cleaning but pools were an option. Not enough music during the day and would have liked to arrive on different day so we could enjoy the beach party and make it to Margaritaville which is only Monday evening.

Nice small resort, very good food. Not much of a beach but very private. nearly two hours from Montego Bay. Not all room categories have bath tubs, but ocean view is outstanding. Friendly staff. Most guests are over 40.

This resort was suggestions by out travel agent for our honeymoon. This was our first visit to Jamaica and our first adults only resort. We were beyond pleased with the hospitality, food, hotel clenliest, and staff during our stay. I wish some of the nightly activities started earlier but those we did attend where great.

The couples lounge at the airport arrivals was a pleasant place to relax with a cold Red Stripe (free) while waiting for the bus(about 15 mins). Once at the resort we were greeting by smiling faces and cool towels to wash our hands and face and then a welcome drink, check in was super fast. Resort is small but very stylish, and lots and lots of staff, who are ready to help you anyway they can, very friendly staff. Loved all the activities that are included in this resort(Dunns River Falls, Shopping, Margaritaville, Catamaran Cruise, Scuba, Snorkling). All restaurants were good, with lots of choices for the picky eaters. Just wish they were open every night. Premium drinks(GreyGoose, Smirnoff, Crown Royal, Malibu Rum, good Scotch) a bonus. Drinks of the day, delicious! Entertainment a little boring with the house band every night even they looked bored. Need new entertainment more often, different entertainment. Rooms were very clean and filling my fridge was just a phone call away, anytime. Left my safe open a few times with all my valuables, and cash, nothing was ever taken. Had a great relaxing vacation at Couples Tower Isle, Thanks!

This was our first time to Jamaica & to a Couples Resort & absolutely loved it! Great food, the staff treated you like royalty and we met a lot of guests that were repeaters! We loved sitting on our ocean front balcony eating breakfast by room service!

We just got back from a wonderful 10 day stay. We loved the fact that it is a smaller resort, and that there was no tipping of the staff! The pools are small but adequate and clean. The beach is lovely and private to the resort. The cleanliness left a little to be desired, though. After a very windy day, a lot of seaweed came ashore..3 days later, they were still cleaning it. It was off to the side, so no great big deal. What really got us was that regular beach clean up involved raking and BURYING the piles of rubbish along the shoreline! No problem with the biodegradable stuff...but digging holes in the sand and tossing in plastic bottles and cigarette butts? There were three parrots on the property...in a very secluded/isolated area. It was almost a week before we realised that they were there! We think any pet lover, bird owner [particularly people familiar with parrots, and their needs] would be appalled by their lack of proper care. One of them needs medical attention ASAP.

Boutique resort that goes out of its way to make you feel like home. Staff are friendly, food is amazing and overall experience was great. Rooms were nice with a wonderful view. Tried the spa and highly recommended it.

This resort had the best food we have ever had at an all inclusive, in fact, the food was better then a lot of restaurants in our area, which we always thought were the best. The resort is small, but cozy,and is located in a fairly isolated area. Take advantage of all the free activities which are offered, for most often they are extra at other resorts. The no tipping policy is amazing(tip was included in our overall price), and staff are very attentive even though they know that usually there will be no extra tip. Nightly entertainment was very good,and had a wide variety to offer.

We travelled in early December. The weather was not the greatest, but we'll forgo the tan for an amazing experience, which is what Couples Tower Isle provided. All staff members at CTI, from check-in to check-out, were incredible - reception, guest services, events, water sports, bar staff, room service, dining room, Verandah, Bayside, the fancy restaurant. I was in awe by the attention that the staff provided all resort guests - it was simply above and beyond all other experiences, with the exception of our stay at Couples Negril, which was probably on par. The answer to any request you may have is "Ya Mon!" The food was incredible - I had to have gained 10 pounds over the course of the week. Every dining option is good. The jerk chicken at the snack bar was unreal - I probably had 12 portions in a week. Friday is lobster night so do not miss out - we had lobster at bayside and the portions were HUGE! The chef also came by the table to discuss the lobster options, which was a nice little touch. It was some of the best lobster I've ever had. The grounds are well maintained, the pools are clean, and you look around and people are just having a good time. They have countless activities to keep you occupied, including free excursions. Whether you want to relax, party, or get out and be active, CTI has enough options to ensure every guest leaves satisfied. CTI was an incredible resort and the question not will we be back, but rather, when will we be back. Thank you CTI for an absolutely majestic week in paradise!

We went to Tower Isle for our honeymoon. The staff were excellent, the food was incredible, drinks were delicious and the resort was spotless. As a young couple are only disappointment was the entertainment. There was nothing to do/ going on during rainy days and nightly entertainment and activities are over by 10:30 pm

This all-inclusive resort had everything we were looking for and more! We loved the food as it had so much variety and always great tasting! While there was always something to do (complimentary excursions, beachside activities, nightly entertainment, etc.), we chose not to take part in everything as we wanted to just lay on the beach and relax undisturbed. Our room was always kept neat and clean and any requests we had were promptly responded to. Every staff member who served us was always willing to go the extra mile. This is a small resort, so if you are looking for crowds and noise, you might want to keep looking. With the resort at almost max capacity, we never felt like there were too many people and could always find what we needed (table at dinners, loungers at the beach, clean fresh beach towels, etc.). We loved our time at Couples Tower Isle and will highly recommend this to any of our friends that are looking for a "couples getaway"!!

We spent 5 days at the CTI and loved every minute of it! The hotel it self Is a little dated but why it lacks in decor it makes up for in quality and service. Rooms where extremely clean and you could have anything delivered to your room. Staff where the best I have ever encountered at s resort and food was spectacular! Not to mention all the excursions included with your stay!

Had a wonderful week at Couples Tower Isle – if you’re considering this resort, book it! Everything was amazing. I loved the layout of the resort – pretty much everywhere you went (patio restaurant, lobby, both pools, gym etc.) you had a great view of the ocean. We paid more for this vacation than I had originally had in mind when vacation-shopping, but I think the extra money was well worth it. Between the included activities, the no-tipping, and the general high-quality of everything (including the food), I think we came out about even compared to a less expensive resort. Service: The service was friendly and professional. I was very glad to have a no-tipping policy, and the service was actually way better than other places I’ve been where tipping was the norm. All of the staff members we encountered were fantastic. Guests: The guests will obviously differ each week, but we are a couple in our late twenties, and we didn’t feel out of place. There seemed to be people of all ages, although if you are looking for a younger ‘party’ atmosphere, this probably isn’t the place for you. Food: The food was excellent. Both Eight Rivers and Bayside were nice, although I preferred the atmosphere at Bayside. The offerings at the buffet were so good that we never made it to the Verandah restaurant. I’m a vegetarian and I had plenty of great food options no matter where I went. There was also a yummy Veggie Bar on the beach with delicious snacks and smoothies. Room: We had an ocean view room and it really did have a great ocean view! Not just a little sliver of water in the distance, but a full on ocean. It was great to sleep with the curtains open and wake up to the sun shining on the water. Watch out for the shower – the design results in water leaking onto the bathroom floor unless you aim the showerhead towards the shower wall. Dunn Rivers Falls: Seeing as there’s no extra charge to do this activity, I’d recommend it. It was fun, although very touristy and they kind of rush you through. Buy a cheap pair of water shoes at home or bring a pair of old sneakers you don’t mind getting wet/swimming in. Also, you get completely soaked, so just wear your bathing suit and don’t bring your sunglasses or other things you can lose. They let you keep your bag on the bus, which the bus driver from the resort stays with, so you can leave any extra stuff you brought there. The vendors on the way out of the park are very aggressive/tricky – just ignore them. They will shake your hand and then physically try to pull you into their shop. Or they will give you something and tell you it’s “free”, but then they will follow you back to the bus asking for a “tip”. Gym/yoga: I tried one of the yoga classes, and although it wasn’t really my ‘style’, they did have a proper yoga teacher (not just some poor staff member assigned to try to teach yoga), so that was nice. Yoga classes were 7:30am and 4pm Mon-Fri. I only went to the gym once, but it was modern and clean and had a view of the pool and ocean. Other: For some reason we received $200 resort credit, which we only found out about when we were checking out. Not quite sure what this was all about, or if everyone gets it, but I’d suggest checking out with enough time to go to the gift shop/photo shop in case you do get this mysterious credit to spend. Nice little surprise at the end of our trip and I was very happy to be able to buy some of the nice photos the photographer had taken.

Quaint older resort. Has atmosphere. Beach is small but close to the resort. Staff was very friendly. Restaurants and service were great. Chef at Sea side Restaurant prepared special meals for my wife who is gluten intolerante. Gym and equipment were new. Free WiFi. Thank you.
