The resort was better than we expected, the food was outstanding, I have dietary issues and always had wonderful choices for fresh fruit, salads and dairy free options. Fresh eggs cooked at your liking. The wine was really good, surprisingly:) The rooms was stunning but a little small, not alot of closet space. The bath room was beautiful but the counter space was limited. The outside deck was lovely with a day bed and table and chairs where I mediated each morning The coffee at the coffee bar was delicious! I went to the gym every morning and always found a treadmill to run on but the two other bike machines were not working The pool was lovely, small but just right for the amount of people on this resort The beach was incredible, we thought because we needed to cross the road to get to the private beach it was a deal breaker, but surprisingly it was just fine and we had a security guard who stop traffic to cross The beach was private for this resort, big palm umbrellas, privaye service for food and drink for this resort only. I walked along the beach and looked at other resprts and this one was by far the best beach front! We made the best choice. Thanks to Beth at trip central for this recommendation. Thanks to all the staff at the resort who were always happy, helpful and grateful. Shout out to Cash, and Tamika who took care of our drinks and meal service. A great experience over all and can't wait to go back.

This is the fifth time in Jamaica, the first time in this resort and I can only sayTHE BEST place we have been. From the employees that you feel like part of a big family, they so much care about making you feel like royalties. The service is the best, the beach is amazing even though you cross the street with help. The only thing I would like to mention, there is not enough food selection, we don’t eat seafood or meat, but the chicken jerky was the best all the time, I know it is of season this month and every hotel is cutting in order not waste. Reasonable ?

Beautiful well kept, very friendly staff always there if you need anything, food was delicious, the beach was excellent and the guys and gals there were right there to get you whatever you'd like, just need the price to go down so we can come back for our fourth time

Another great return visit to Sunset at the Palms. Resort is small, friendly and inviting! Beach is fantastic, you can’t beat the Negril beaches. The wonderful staff keep us returning for multiple trips. ♥️

The resort is small and very unique. Food was great. Service was stellar. Beach short walk across the road. Lots of lounges and shade available. Staff sets up lounge, table and towel wherever you choose. Beach is long enough for a good walk each day. Drinks and food are served to you for lunch and after. Amazing sunsets! A few vendors on the beach, but nothing intrusive or offencive. Villa is a good size with basically everything you need. When it was hot the air conditioner could not keep up and the room was often warm while sleeping. Our room had no glass on the windows only screens and shutters so I'm sure most of the cool air was lost throughout the day. Definitely would return and recommend!

Beautiful grounds, with a Polynesian flair. Very Zen feeling.I beleive it is more geared to a mature crowd. No loud music. Piano bar at night in the Martini Bar.Food was wonderful. If you aren’t busy tomorrow I’m need of some relaxation, conversation. reading …this is the place of your dreams. I am 75 yrs old and there were many my age at this resort.

We had the BEST TIME at the Sunset At The Palms Resort!! This is truly one of the best trip we had. The site is lush, clean and simply AMAZING!! The staff is friendly, welcoming, kind and just perfect!! The food is so good and the place is gorgeous!! This gem gets a 10/10 and we will definitely return!! We just returned from our stay at Sunset At The Palms and it really is a unique resort. Very small, laid back and quiet. Our treetop room was very comfortable and clean and quiet except for the tree frogs at night which actually put you to sleep. We had a lot of privacy on our balcony since all the treetop rooms were nestled around the resort. Not a ton of dinning options but it was enough for us. I would of liked to see more healthy choices and not so much spicy fair but we found something to eat. Service was top notch and the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Always smiling and greeting you when they see you. The beach is across the street but their is a crossing guard to help you cross safely and it’s about a 5 min walk. At the beach there is a bar and grill so you can spend your days enjoying the beach and everything is there for you. The bathrooms are beautiful apparently they were newly done not long ago. Overall we enjoyed are stay and defiantly will go back. If there is anything negative it would be l was looking forward to bed art and it was there on arrival and then my husband on our anniversary caught the maid and asked if she could do it special for me and she was glad to. It it wasn’t every time are room was made up. So nothing serious. But just a warning this is a small resort, no big night life and very laid back and quiet so if thats what your looking for l would recommend this resort.

It was our first trip to Jamaica with my wife. Indeed, Sunset at the Palms is an unique small adults-only resort nested amongst tropical gardens and flowering plants. From outside "tree-house-style" guestrooms look incredibly "picture-perfect". Resort staff are very nice and accommodating; food is great as well. However it is not what you might expect looking at the pictures and reading resort's description before heading to Jamaica. There are number of issues which you may not find in the reviews. Here is what you should be aware about before getting there: 1. The hotel is located right besides major busy road. A loud noise and exhaust fumes are felt in the whole resort area, especially at the daytime. Our room happened to be right beside fence separating resort from the road. Noise and fumes were so unbearable so that on our second day we requested to move us further from the road. But it did not fully solve the problem. 2. Resort was built a while ago. It is not being properly maintained/repaired over the years and currently in "tired-and-wired" state. Guestrooms have sophisticated shower system with showerheads and multiple sprays installed directly onto the walls. It would be great it all worked the way it should. But when you turn on water it starts spraying and leaking all over the place. Good luck to make it work the way you want! There is no proper water drainage either - when you finish showering, your feet might be fully covered by water. While staying in the resort for one week only we changed rooms 3 times (!) for different reasons - "shower situation" is practically the same in all of them. Another problem in the rooms which could have been fixed easily and inexpensively - electrical receptacles. Due to their age many of them are not tight enough to hold power plugs or charging devices to charge your phones, tablets, etc. So your charger might simply fall off an outlet while you are trying to feed your portable device. 3. WiFi performance is quite spotty. Despite strong WiFi signal, neither of wireless devices can hold stable wireless connection. For some mysterious reasons you continuously get a message on a device: "Failed to obtain IP address". So if you plan to stay connected during vacation, let alone work remotely - it would be a frustrating experience. 4. Beach. Has multiple issues, in my view. 4.1 To get to the beach you need to cross the road and go through the gate on the other side of the road. The gate is open from 7 am and closed at 7 pm. So you can't get to the beach early in the morning (before 7 am) and have a swim or simply walk on the beach late in the evening. 4.2 Towels. If you are early on the beach you should not have a problem to get a towel. But if you are a little late (say, at ~ 10am) - good luck to get a towel. 4.3 Swimming area in the beach is very small; it is marked/restricted by small buoys. Swimming beyond those buoys is strictly prohibited. So if you love swimming and/or snorkeling - the beach is not for you. Overall, hotel's ranking in its present state should be somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Wouldn't go there again.

We recently returned from ten days at Sunset at the Palms and loved it. We were totally impressed by how welcoming and friendly all the staff were with the guests upon our arrival. The "treehouse" accommodations were quaint and very lovely with the layout of the treehouses designed so that your personal balconies were out of sight of the other residences so that you felt that you were alone in the jungle. The short walk across the street to the beach was not a hinderance at all and once you got to the beach area it was worth it. A beautiful stretch of uncrowded sand with loads of chairs which were brought to your desired location and then swept off for you, a great beachfront bar area along with spotless washrooms and a great beach grill made the day amazing. The pool area was intimate and very under-used during our stay with a swim up bar and hot-tub along with access to more spotless washrooms. The food was very simple but good, not the type of place if you are a "foodie" to be sure, and with the COVID protocol of all food placed on the plates for you by staff it actually made the small lines at the buffet far more relaxing and orderly. There were ample hand sanitizing stations located around the resort and staff were wearing masks when they were in close contact with the guests as well as spacing markings on the floor in the food areas. The resort was exactly what we were hoping for in that it was a very quiet, relaxing, adults only boutique style resort that allowed us to totally unwind.

The food, the staff and the sense of relaxation is the best I have ever experienced. The beach is one of the best as well. We feel completely relaxed, safe and well cared for at Sunset at the Palms. It was our third time going to this resort, and we are planning trip number four there soon !

Everything was just perfect. Just a beautiful relaxing place to go I would recommend this relaxing holiday get away to anyone wanting to sit back and lap up this beautiful resort and what it has to offer!

We had a great vacation and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful especially Linette and Carson who did that little extra. We found the Hotel to be very efficient and there was never any big lineups for the fabulous food. Speaking of the food we only used the Buffett in the evening it was great and we also enjoyed the meals at the beach, you never had to worry about starving. I would also like to send a big thanks to Loyletta (Excursion Planner) who went out of her way for us and ensured we found all the right trips. Again I will be back again next year.

The grounds were incredible, if you're into looking at plants it's the place to go. Great beach, wonderful food and a very helpful staff. Would recommend the resort for anybody looking for a nice quiet vacation, not really a party place.

The grounds at this resort were beautiful. So many different kinds of plants beautifully kept. Rooms were adequate but lacking hangers and drawers to put things away . Food was good and beach was great.

We stayed at the resort for one week last month in October and I must say the resort itself is beautiful and very small. It seems like one is living in a tropical paradise surrounded by lush greenery. Each suite has lots of trees planted around, so there is lots of privacy. Some of the suites are in need of updating as we found the shower didn't work properly. We had to have our room changed twice and ultimately they gave us one of their best suite - it was nice and clean. The food was a bit cold for our pallet when it came to the buffet. I found the variety was not there as we had expected in terms of seafood. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bug sprays don't work there and I ended up with mosquito bites which still haven't healed. The beach grill was a great place to eat lunch, and the beach was beautiful indeed. Anyone you wants to experience a unique resort should go there.

This hotel is something very different. Cabins in the jungle garden...Listening to tree frogs all night. Small enough where you get to know all the wonderful friendly staff. And a lot of new friends as well. Food is good. Entertainment nightly. The beach is clean and water so clear and calm. Just get on a floatie and you're in paradise. If you are tired of the big resorts this is definitely the place for you. We will be back.

We loved the amazing grounds,and tree top rooms in a tropical setting. The service was the best we have ever experienced in an all of our travels and we travel a lot! The food although there weren’t a lot of choices was amazing and was always fresh. The beach and sunsets were beyond belief. We are definitely going to return there.

We were amazed by the untouched beauty of the property. Service from the moment went beyond anything any of our group had experienced previously. The food was some of the best we’ve experienced at an all inclusive. We travel to the Caribbean and Mexico 2 to 3 times a year and have stayed at many 5 star resorts. This one beats them all. The only negative I’ll mention is Air Transat. 6 hour Flight delay on departure due to mechanical and no food available on the return. Very poor communication from them as well. Won’t make the Air Transat mistake again. The resort and the Negril beach in front of it are absolutely the best. No one could ask for more.

The staff and management treat you like family. Always at home @ SATP. Nothing like it anywhere, if beach living in the Caribbean is how you want to relax and unwind than this is the place for you! It is small and intimate surrounded by nature.

The resort itself was clean ,comfortable,and not overcrowded . The beach area was private, with h a beautiful sandy beach with lots of shade! A bar and a grill,area, although the cook was somewhat slow, causing a bit of a wait for your orders. While on the resort itself there was a different menu every night, the food and desert choices where good and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only real complaint is the main roadway runs between the resort itself and the beach. You could hear the local traffic speeding by , because some of the rooms are right olong the fence line .

We had a fabulous time! The hotel was very clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. They made you feel like part of their family. The food was delicious. We were able to enjoy the chef's a la carte restaurant and the meal was fabulous! We loved our treehouse room it was kept very clean and the grounds were beautiful. The beach was beautiful we enjoyed the white sand and beautiful swimming area. There was always plenty of lawn chairs. The beach staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this resort to everyone and already have. The tours arranged through were all very informative and fun. The drivers we had were all great.

Sunset at the palms is an amazing resort for couples. Rooms: Treehouse style rooms. Large and comfortable. Food: Better than most resorts. Also have Jamaican cuisine to try, which was wonderful. Pool: Small but clean. There is no loud music or activities. Total relaxation and a great place to socialize. Beach: Across the street. Maybe a 3 minute walk (no big deal). Clean and beautiful with quite a few water sports included. BBQ at the beach every day. There is a market and the vendors are very pushy, but you can avoid that area easily. Staff: AMAZING! I can't even describe how accommodating and friendly the staff were at this resort. We met so many people who have returned to this resort over and over again. I understand why and cannot wait to return :)

We loved Sunset at The Palms.This was our 4th visit .We love the quiet ,the staff,the beautiful flowers,the food ,the beach and I could go on and on. It's not your party resort .It's your "I need a quiet holiday "resort. We will continue to go back as often as we can.

The people working at the resort were happy to help with any requests. The beach was cleaned up quickly compared with adjacent properties after a storm. Beach staff were great. Nice and private area with few disturbances.

This was a beautiful spot for our first time to Jamaica would definitely stay here again, very clean just perfect size loved the balcony with our own little day bed, had an amazing time and food was excellent, everyone we met was lovely and very kind and helpful!!!! Beach was well kept and felt very safe having the life guards and security there, and was so nice to have the grill there for our lunch, hamburgers were delicious,

This is a small resort on a plantation like property. It was my second visit to this resort and I will be going back a third time for sure. The grounds are amazing , for an all-inclusive, the food is way above the usual all inclusive type menu. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and authentic Jamaican style. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. It was all very relaxing and comfortable. No line ups for anything. You have to experience it to really appreciate how unique it is.

Everything was great not to far not any line ups staff pleasant and helpful enjoyed the walkways with the greenery entertainment could have been better but not terrible we have already passed on our experience to others in a positive way

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with smiling happy staff and swifter into paradise. Beautiful gardens surround the rooms, dining areas and pool. Enjoy dinner under the stars with local entertainment and delicious Jamaican specialities as well as international food. Very relaxing atmosphere. The beach across the street is the nicest I have ever seen. 10+++ all around. I would highly recommend for couples who want a relaxing couples only result filled with nice surprises, lovely people and serene surroundings.

Sunset at the Palms is a very nice hotel. It is quiet, clean, and the grounds are beautiful. The cottages are lovely. The nature is very neat but if you are sensitive to noise at night, bring earplugs. The tree frogs are loud. The food and drinks were great. Great Selection. Staff was extremely friendly.

Friendly service, beautiful rooms, great jerk chicken hut at beach. Food and restaurant booking system could be improved, but lots of variety at buffet. Only problem with room was there was no bathroom door.

Once again Sunset at the Palms provided us a holiday of pure relaxation and fun. This was our third trip to the Palms and it just seems to get better every time! The raised cottages are one of the reasons we return. The lush vegetation is well maintained and there are birds everywhere! The head gardener, Shorty, and his crew do a spectacular job on the gardens! The staff at Sunset are the icing on the cake with friendliness and dedication to making you feel at home. The buffet is not huge but all the food fresh and very well prepared. The alacarte restaurant food was excellent . The hotel had a Halloween party and did a most excellent job with decoration and costumes! Overall our trip was once again a 5 out of 5

This is a beautiful small resort. The service is very good, the rooms are updated and clean and the grounds are well kept. The food was OK, it could use a bit more variety such as seafood (no lobster was offered). We were treated to a BBQ on the beach complete with bonfire and a live band one night. I would say the only downsides are having to cross a busy road to go to the beach, getting constantly hassled while waking on the beach and the resort's treatment of one particular couple as VIP and no one else on the resort while we were there. It made everyone, including us, a bit uncomfortable. Overall, this is great small resort.

Rooms were spacious, private and beautiful balconies to relax on. Grounds were always kept clean. The walk across the road to the beach was not an issue - a short walk. Beach was beautiful, kept clean, beach staff were always helpful. Beach grill was fabulous for lunchtime meal - lots of choices. The sand flies were the only negative point of this beach/resort. The staff realizes this is an issue and willing to give you cream for those awful itchy bites!

My wife and I enjoyed the SATP so much. The food was incredible, even the buffet, the grounds are lush and beautiful, but the best part has to be the staff and the wonderful service that gives you complete relaxation.

This resort has everything you need. Great rooms, service and attention to details. The staff is always friendly and professional. Problems are resolved quickly. The food and bar service was excellent. I will definitely recommend this resort to family and friends. Terry

This hotel is awesome! It's romantic, private, safe, secluded and quiet. A real gem for those looking to relax and recharge. The rooms are clean, spacious, and modern. And that shower...to die for! The food was excellent and the wait staff were friendly, courteous and entertaining. The front desk staff and management were accomodating and professional. The highlight of my trip was the bartenders. They are great conversationalist and mix a mean drink. I have to shout out Alex, Kirk, Tyrone, Shereene, and the whole coffee bar crew! I will definitely be back!

This place is a hidden away gem. Spent two weeks for our 20th anniversary. Couldn't have loved it more. If you want to relax, enjoy nature this is the place for you. All the staff are great but Carla at reception desk and Kirk at the pool bar were our favourites. Food is good and no line ups for anything. Will definitely return.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sunset at the Palms. The staff was amazing, Mr. B, Craig, Shemoy and Kenroy were fantastic. The food was great. The only thing I did not like was the spraying of the grounds at 4:00 p.m. The smell was strong, but if they had not sprayed I wonder how many more sand fly bites I would have. I found the sand flies very anoying and I am still itchy 2 days after coming home. The beach was really good.

Just came back from Sunset. I like the beach. Very good quality food. The room can be cleaned better. Dust was everywhere. Another minus was Mosquitos. They bite and and also send fleas. The busy road was very close and noisy. Grounds are very pretty and looked after. The staff are very nice everybody. Overall good experience. Drinks are very nice and I like sparkling vine for breakfast.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Sunset at the Palms. The accommodations were great, the grounds were well kept, the staff was extremely helpful, and the food was varied and excellent. A very enjoyable experience!
