We spent a fabulous week at Couples Swept Away . The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The mini fridge was stocked daily. The employees were super friendly. The food was excellent in the buffet, the specialty restaurants and the grill. Feathers specialty restaurant was amazing. The grounds are well maintained. The entertainment in the evening was low key but nice the steel drum band was awesome . They have numerous activities in the day time that you can do, from yoga, aquafit, pickle ball, lap pool, bean bag toss, ring toss and so much more. They also have water sports that’s included. Glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling and catamaran. Negril beach is amazing and they rake the beach every morning. Lots of beach chairs with cushions and the cushions you can use as floats in the ocean. This is truly a wonderful resort. We have done 20 plus all inclusive resorts and this resort will be our new go to.

We had a wonderful vacation at Couples Swept Away Negril for seven wonderful days. The people, the grounds, the accommodations and of course the beach were amazing. I would highly recommend this resort and will book again in the future.

Everything about the resort was great. The biggest highlights: -The service was fantastic. Guests are always taken care of, everyone is beyond friendly. -Food was great. We ate at each restaurant, but the buffet was the clear winner. Always great options, fresh food, etc. -Beach is fantastic. Very clean, and there was always a spot to lay down -Cats on the resort were a big highlight

We had an amazing 10 days at csa and we will be back again soon .. everything was as expected and we got to see our Jamaican friends . the Couples Swept Away resort was relaxing, Clean, very quiet for this time year. They are renovating the Patois kitchen which they served the menu at the buffet restaurant instead which was amazing food.

This was our first visit to the resort and it didn’t disappoint. Although the rooms are a little outdated they were very clean and well maintained. The service in all aspects was very good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food catered to all nationalities and was good. The beach was amazing.

This is the second Couples resort we have been to (the other being Sans Souci). What we love about the Couples resorts is that they are truly all-inclusive with absolutely no tipping allowed (you pay more up front so that this money is spread fairly amongst all of the staff including those who are non-guest facing). As a result the service is generally much better and the experience much more relaxing. Our room in the Great House was a little worn but clean and room service provided us with lots of towels as well as nightly turn down service. The beach was beautiful but with two caveats: we quickly learned that we needed to get up early to reserve lounge chairs with towels or we would not be able to get seats. And secondly we got stuck repeatedly breathing in second hand cigarette smoke from chain smokers who ignored the rule against smoking on the beach despite plenty of designated smoking areas nearby. In general the service was good but it was not as exceptional as at Sans Souci and there was some poor service. With a few notable exceptions, the staff was just not as friendly and welcoming as we were used to at Sans Souci. I have to note that we were super happy to see that most of the very friendly and healthy looking cats on the resort were ear tipped showing that they were spayed and neutered. Great credit goes towards the resort for this.

All was amazing, especially the beach and fine sand and crystal clean water with beautiful light blue color. The room was comfortable and specious with a tropical garden view. food, less variety than 5 years ago, but still very good. One thing that did not work was the internet, constantly not connecting. We complained to the front desk on the third day, but no one came forward to even investigate, so we were without the internet most of the time during the 7 days we stayed.

The hotel is very nice, great beach!!!, the staff is wonderful. The 2 a la carte restaurants that need reservations are good but the process for making the reservations really needs to be improved. It was very difficult to make reservations and to get a time that was acceptable. We were there for 2 weeks and could only get a reservation twice in the one restaurant. Also, leaving for the airport we had to be picked up 5.5 hours before our flight when the trip to the airport was only 1.5 hours. This was a bit too early and could have spent more time at the resort before leaving. Overall the trip was lovely and we had a great time but it could have been improved in some areas.

I am a repeat guest and loved it! Many of the staff here go above and beyond. I did find a difference in the food mainly at the Palms. I hope they rectify , just not much selection and the quality was not where it was in April. The rooms are dated but very clean so I am ok with that. I feel mostly paying for beach but this is rated at a 5 star so for me I expect the food to be there. I heard many repeaters say they will be trying elsewhere because it is pricey and has changed. Julian who does the glass bottom boat is amazing , so not miss it !

We love this resort so much we just came back from 11th visit to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Everyone is so friendly, it's like returning home each time. Beautiful lush grounds and low rise buildings set on a beautiful beach with the most amazing sunsets in the world.

This was our 9th time to CSA and we love it more every time we go. The whole experience is uplifting relaxing and good for the soul. The food is delicious, the people that keep CSA going are amazing. You can be quiet and relax or you can be busy with the many outdoor and indoor amenities CSA has to offer. We can't say one negative thing about CSA even the bus ride is fun and educational.

The beach was fantastic, nice white sand, calm waters. The room was fine, A/C was good. The cleaning services were fine, except that they came very last, 3:30-4:00 pm. The food was average, All the restaurants were open-air except, Feathers. The Palms buffet was in a covered outdoor space, so lots of bugs in/around the food. Patios Patio had great breakfasts and the Grill had good jerk chicken and burgers. Feathers restaurant was the only restaurant that wasn't open-air, the food was very good there. all the staff were friendly and nice. Beach 5/5 Food 4/5 Resort Facilities 3/5 Overall 3.5/5

This was our first time visiting the Negril area of Jamaica & this resort. Covid protocols were relaxed during our stay as mask mandates had been lifted. There were hand sanitizing stations in common areas. The resort was not at full capacity, and based on previous vacations to another hotel in this chain, I'd say the staffing levels are still recovering. Nothing major, just not at the level I had experienced in previous (prior to Covid) visits - mostly maintenance, which is reasonable under the circumstances - service itself was outstanding in most instances. This hotel is located in the middle of seven mile beach & the beach is fantastic, the hotel is very laid back and has a beachy vibe. If you are pool people, this may not be the place for you. The restaurant options, food and service was very good! We had a room in the Great House, rather than the numerous bungalows throughout the resort, it was a good location, offered a bit of an ocean view, and was quiet, but next time I'd try a bungalow.

This was our 7th visit to Couples Swept Away since 2012. We still love going there to relax and recharge. The resort is kept clean indoor and outdoor. The food is always amazing at all the places to eat. The staff are always friendly and courteous. There is lots of things to do or do nothing, there is no pressure. I highly recommend CSA

Hotel was relaxing. All staff were very friendly and service was generally very good though it does run on "island time". Staff keep the grounds and rooms very clean but some areas do show a bit of wear and age, mostly in hot tub and pool areas. Our Atrium Suite Room had recent renovations so was almost like new inside. The Atrium Suites also each have a huge covered private porch, perfect place for afternoon drinks. The Beach is stunning. Easily the nicest beach I have ever seen, fine white sand not like the course sand we usually have seen in other areas of the Caribbean and the sun sets directly in front of you for spectacular evening displays. Only minor thing we found was a lack of shady spots, you had to get set up early in the day to find a good one. Food was very consistently good. I am a picky eater but found lots to choose from at most meals and restaurants and no chicken fingers or fast food in sight at the buffet. Only fresh cooked choices and incredibly fresh bread and pastries every day. There is a grill restaurant however where you can get a burger or hot dog. Feathers restaurant is well worth making a reservation for. We went there twice and food was very good both times. Only thing was service the 2nd time was a little slow even for "island time". One of the hidden gems we found was at the 10 acre sports complex across the road though it is still part of the resort. There is a large pool there for swimming but no one was there most of the time. They have a bunch of lounge chairs and shade umbrellas so it was perfectly quiet place to read for few hours every morning. Only problem is there was no bar there except for smoothies and juice. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing place to go. I would say it is not for someone who wants to party all the time. It is definitely more laid back then some places I have seen but don't worry there is no shortage of Jamaican Rum or any other drink of choice if you want one. Hope to be able to back for sure!

Couples Swept Away is an amazing resort! The grounds and property are extremely well kept. The food was the best we have had at any resort, service was exceptional and the accommodations are second to none. The large balcony was our favourite place to relax and enjoy an afternoon cocktail.

The Couples chain of resorts is amazing. Couples Swept Away is the most expensive and on the 7 Mile beach in Negril. However, the resort and facilities were amazing, along with the staff, the beach peddlers were assaulting. Constant peddling, never stops, security lets them bother guests, it's not relaxing. The first couple of days you laugh, then you just want to run away from Swept Away. For this reason, we will chose one of the other 4 resorts, Couples Sans Souci is our favorite.

Overall this was a great hotel. The areas for improvement would be their service is hit or miss, but was especially bad in the Palms Restaurant and the Fish Taco lunch spot. Also the nightly entertainment (except the steel drum band) was pretty bad each night. With that said, if you are looking for a resort with great food, an amazing beach and quiet atmosphere for R&R then this is a great option. We were looking for a getaway to get recharged and this was the perfect spot to do so. Don't expect the fancy lobby with marble - but you can't beat the beach and quiet this resort provides.

The people are what make this place amazing. Thank you to everyone that was kind and helpful. A special mention to Nurse J who was there when we needed her. She was attentive, kind and very thoughtful.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, very lush and well maintained. We stayed in the Garden Veranda Suite and our view was all greenery, it feels like you're in a tropical forest. We had no issues with the noise from the road or tree frogs. The bed was so comfy and spacious. The beach is absolutely perfect! The water is so clear we saw fish, jellyfish, and even a stingray swim up near the shore. The food was OK - was either very good or not so good. I prefer to eat Jamaican food but they had a lot to choose from for American food as well. There were a lot of people walking up and down the beach trying to sell you things, it did get pretty annoying but by the end of the trip we were able to basically tune them out. The pool bar was a lot of fun, this is where you'll find that the younger couples hang out. Unfortunately we figured this out by the very end of our vacation. The piano bar I found attracted more of the older couples at night. The catamaran cruise was fun, but it wasn't as much of a "booze cruise" as I was hoping for it to be, they didn't play much Jamaican/dancehall music. I really enjoyed snorkling and the activities they put on for the guests everyday. Overall I had an amazing time and would love to come back!

At Couples Swept Away there is a beautiful beach and resort. We have been there 6 times and we will go back for our 7th next year. The staff are amazing, the food is amazing, pretty much the whole experience is amazing. You can be busy on the resort with all they have to offer or you can relax the whole visit.

We just came back from Couples Swept Away. Wonderful vacation in beautiful tropical setting and amazing white sand beach with crystal clear water. Food was one of the best we had in all inclusive resorts and we travel at least once a year to different once. Book beach front room if you can, they are located directly on the beach with beautiful ocean views and spectacular sunsets. Hotel offers tons of activities if you want to keep busy... they have sport centre across the street . We had professional tennis lessons by Norson.. very good ... the resort has 4 beautiful tennis courts, squash, gym and full size laps pool. The best restaurant for us was Feathers .. great food and service. Hotel has around 300 rooms so everything is close by. Hotel offers lots of events enhancing romance. One night they had amazing bone fire on the beach with soft romantic music. They have music at night in Palm restaurant and also late evening disco or sing along . Overall I would recommend this hotel to couples who want to have amazing relaxing time on the beach or want to keep busy . This hotel has something for everybody. We will be back for sure.

Lots of great things about this resort: beach is priceless - gradual Entry into turquoise waters, rooms and grounds are 4 star, there are two pools - one is busier but fun and the other is quiet and very few people. Service at the a la carte restaurants is fantastic, buffet servers are average. Nightly entertainment is late for us, but it’s very good.

The food and drink at CSA is top shelf- we are multiple visitors to CSA only 1 night where we disappointed with our meal at lemongrass overall food is 9.5 out of 10 loud screeching noise from jacuzzi first 2 days but was rectified by management we needed an extended check out and front desk staff graciously accommodated our request we left belongings in the safe by accident CSA called as we were on the shuttle to the airport to inform us made arrangements to ship belongings back to us well done by all front desk to make this happen!! Overall, another beautiful stay and we will be back again enjoy the sunsets on the booze cruise- spectacular

Beautiful, very green resort. Nice, 6 room bungalows with more like executive rooms than suites. We first got a room on the ground floor that had no daylight and no sun at any time of the day. We were moved to the third floor corner room, and that would be the only room I would come back to. Food was amazing, we never went to reservation only restaurant, couldn't be bothered. Enjoyed Jamaican buffet and The Palms. Beach was good, quite a lot of natural shade, and few straw umbrellas, not enough if you come to the beach after 8 am. The water is a bit too shallow for my taste, you need to walk quite a lot to get to the depth for swimming. I liked that tips were included in the price. We didn't want to go to any excursions, even to the included ones. But, that was a nice option. Service was very good, everyone, from reception to restaurants was very pleasant and helpful.

Grounds were very well kept. Beach was amazing. All inclusive snorkeling etc. was great. Best fitness centre I have seen on any vacation. Outstanding! rated a 4 star probably because it is not user friendly tor people with disabilities. No elevators and wheelchair access so that could be a problem for some people.. Dining at all restaurants was great. Resort was full so only got into the 2 specialty restaurants once.

Vacationing is expensive so I want others to get the facts. Trip from airport is 90min. Check in is uneventful but courteous. The food was fantastic even though food selection tends to be better at many other resorts. The staff were very friendly and provided exceptional service. The public beach is beautiful with plenty of chairs. Lots of vendors walking the beach but not overbearing. Only have 2 very small pools by restaurants including 1 small swim up bar. You have free access to all the water toys like paddle boats, sail boats, cayaks, catamaran.. Nice added feature of a tennis academy, 8-lap pool and lounge area across the street. Entertainment was good with mostly singing acts at buffets. The VERY BAD- No sleep since many of the rooms are by the road. You can hear the busy traffic. If your closer to the ocean, you can hear the waves slam all night. Either bring ear plugs or White Noise App to help somewhat. If you love the water activities and like access to a very nice fitness area across the street, while accepting less sleep, this resort is for you. There are many other resorts out there that can provide me a better experience for less money but I’m still glad I stayed here (once).

Superb resort from every point of view: accommodation, food, beach, facilities, programs. What is most unique is the all-inclusive sports, including tennis lessons, sailing lessons, scuba, and the like. This is the ideal resort for the active couple who doesn't just want to laze by the beach and drink alcoholic drinks...

My husband and I have never been able to take a vacation so after 25 years, we decided to treat ourselves and it was absolutely amazing!!! The resort was immaculate, the views were breathtaking, the food was fantastic and plentiful but most of all, the staff were definitely by far the main reason we had such a great time. So much so that we can't wait to plan our next trip and we're 100% certain that we'll be going back to this resort again, and again and again - just like so many returning guests we met during our trip.

If you are looking for a great beach, food, accommodations, activities, friendly staff, most of all value....lok no further. Visit once and your hooked, nothing else compares. We returned for our 7th visit and are still in love with this resort and the staff whom make it all happen. The food is top notch, the grounds are breath taking, lush and green. The water is like glass, calm and clear. The rooms are very comfortable. Endless activities are included such as diving and catamaran cruise, glass bottom boat tour. You wont be disappointed.

Everything about Couples Swept Away is fantastic. The beach is amazing, the staff are very friendly and yes we call them our friends after going for our 5th time. The food is great and the rooms are clean. The vegetation is lush as well. We highly recommend this resort. It's a short 3hr 45 min flight from Toronto which is nice.

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at Couples Swept Away, and we were not disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however if you are looking for posh accommodations then this is not the resort for you. As always, we found the food to be excellent and plentiful. Service is sometimes slow, but remember that you are on "island time". We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and when we asked to be moved to a different room due to an ant problem, they accommodated our request immediately and we ended up with a room that had a better view of the beach. The grounds of the resort are lush and beautiful, and meticulously cared for by the staff. The beach is the best we have seen in the Caribbean; white sand and crystal clear water. There are some vendors selling their wares along the beach, however a simple "no thank you" will send them on their way. We met other couples who have been to this resort multiple times, some of them as many as 30 times! We cannot wait to go back again!!

Amazing stay. Beautiful rooms with large verandahs with hammock and generous seating area overlooking the beautiful and tropical grounds of the hotel (or beach if you get a beach front room). Beach was stunning and long. Sand was soft and comfortable to endlessly walk on. Water was warm and felt like a massage to the soul. Shade easy to be found under the numerous chaises on the beach - many under palm trees. Food was very good - especially the jerk chicken and grilled fish offered throughout the day at the restaurants. Staff are very friendly and there is always an interesting conversation to be had. Anything you want is available easily - towels, fresh juices, drinks, ice cream, snacks and of course the beach! Great water sports available for free on site - including snorkelling, kayaking, sailing. Pools and many jacuzzi's on site. Easy to have time on your own or mingle if you want with other guests. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing holiday.

We arrived at Couples Swept Away a little later in the day. We found we didn't receive the warmest welcome from the front desk or the reservation lady (it was 7:55 and she told us she was closed so come back in the morning) but we don't worry about stuff like that. We went to our room on the second floor. The air conditioning was really loud and the TV didn't work and the tree frogs really loud as we were in front of a pond. The next morning we requested a new room and they accommodated us. Our new room 3111 was awesome. The rooms here are not marble but are very rustic. You have to love that sort of thing. We were on the ground floor in an ocean veranda room. We loved that we could walk right out and we could see the ocean. The food here was wonderful as were the restaurants. We took advantage of the fitness centre across the street as well as the catamaran ride and glass bottom boat and snorkeling. All were amazing as the guides worked so had to ensure everyone was safe. He even jumped in the water with us and gave us food to feed the fish. We were pretty much the only Canadians and we met some wonderful American couples that had been at this resort numerous times and showed us the ropes. The beach here is unbelievable. We loved the floaties for the water. Had a great time. We would definitely return.

We have been to Negril upwards of 20 times - CSA was our first AI in Negril. We have always either rented a villa or stayed at some of the smaller hotels on the cliffs and beach (including Idle Awhile - Couples Swept Away's "daughter" property just down the beach). After researching other areas in the Caribbean we opted to go back, yet again, to Negril because of the familiarity to the area, the property NOT being isolated, the more relaxed vibe, outdoor/ alfresco dining at almost all restaurants....which we didn't find at resorts in other areas in the Caribbean - if that makes sense! We had a terrific experience - below are some highlights/ lowlights: Highlights: 1. Staff: Amazing - friendly, helpful, engaging, had great sense of humour, always willing to go above and beyond. We were concerned about the no tipping policy and the level of service but what we found was that we have NEVER received BETTER service anywhere! 2. Grounds: Very well maintained. The property is older but it is lovely and stays very true to Jamaica's architecture, building materials etc.... 3. Beach: The best stretch of beach in all of Negril. It's huge! The great thing about this part of Jamaica/Negril (7 Mile Beach) is that you can literally walk the 7 miles. There's plenty to see along the way including other smaller hotels, bars and of course the beach "vendors".....if you are not interested in 'whatever' they are selling - just say "no thank you". Nothing to be intimidated by.....a few "no thank yous" is all you need to do. 3. Pools: Nice and refreshing pools on the property (3 in total) with a few hot tubs scattered around the property. 4. Food: Yum, yum, yummy food with plenty of variety at both the buffet (Palms) and Patois (al a carte), Lemon Grass (a la carte) and Feathers (a la carte) and the Cabana Grill (by the swim up bar - burgers etc...) 5. Rooms: Clean, fresh and well air conditioned. We were able to order our daily "refreshments" for delivery each day - if you like sparkling wine, it's really good there! Lowlights: (very few) 1. Beach palapas/ shade availability - it would be great if the resort offered umbrellas in addition to the lovely but few palapas available. We found out early in our stay that like other resorts, you have to wake up super-early (5 am) if you want to secure one of their palapas otherwise you are stuck finding shade under a tree among many other shade seekers. That was a bit unnerving...If the beach staff had umbrellas available for guests it would be great so we're not cowering under a palm tree far from the actual water. 2. Swim-up Bar: This is a very lively spot indeed! If you're looking for peace and quiet - find a spot on the beach, not by the pool. We found that there were a lot of guests perching themselves at the bar as soon as it opened (10am) and stayed until closing (6:30 pm?) - it can get pretty boisterous if you know what I mean..... That's it! We will definitely return!

If you enjoy getting what you pay for then this is the place! Friendly staff, incredible beach, great food and dŕink all without any unwanted surprises. Janet Merrill did a great job of getting everything right for our trip!

This resort truly is amazing! Beautiful beach, awesome food, drinks and service. The staff are friendly & accommodating. The rooms aren’t really fancy but have a rustic charm to them. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing romantic getaway for you & your significant other this is the place to be! (However, if you are looking for the loud party atmosphere you may want to look elsewhere. This resort has more of a quiet intimate setting.) We have been to this resort a few times and have never been disappointed yet. Hope to go back again!

The hotel was fine, but certain areas have been neglected since our last stay, which was less than a year and a half ago. The price has increased huge, but the service and cleanliness has not even been maintained. Certain waitresses made us feel like we were such an inconvenience to them (at the Patois), the public washrooms were quite filthy as well. We have been to Jamaica almost 20 times, and it is because the people are so friendly and wonderful. This holiday is the first time ever, that we came home and said it’s time to try a new island. Very heartbreaking, as we have always claimed it was our favourite island in the Caribbean.

Beautiful beach, clear water, and a generally quiet property were the highlights. Unfortunately, little else at this resort lived up to expectations. Accommodations were in need of updating. Food was average at best with limited selections. Loud live evening music was played at the buffet well before dining hours were over so a late quiet meal at the buffet was impossible. Much of the staff were aloof and service, both at restaurants and bars, was terrible. A good drink was almost impossible to find. I realize that marijuana is as common as cigarettes in Negril, but to have a couple smoking weed at the dinner table beside you during your meal on New Years Eve is unacceptable. Staff was aware of this as the waitress took a picture for them. Overall, a very poor value for the price.

Couple's Swept Away was simply the best place we've been to, in the Caribbean. The service is out of this world. Staff is genuine and incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous and the bed was supremely comfortable. But I must say, the best thing was the beach and the food. Outstanding in every way. I will be returning.

Couples Swept Away Negril Jamaica is a fantastic place. You can relax and do nothing or you can be as busy as you like. The whole experience is wonderful. The staff are friendly, the property is beautiful, the water and beach are the best we've ever had the privilege to use.

The resort boasts an incredible beach and amazing dining options. It may not be as ostentatious as some resorts but they make up for that in spades with incredible service and a variety of inclusions that are rarely free at other resorts. The pools may be small but are kept clean and who wants to hang out in a pool with crystal clear waters at the beach. The red flag service is great! The only real complaint is the sounds of nature on full display at night. Not all room categories are the same but the Atrium suites are open air concept and do not allow for a quite nights sleep. Bring ear plugs (helps a bit) but be warned of incessant noise form 8 at night until about 5 in the morning. My wife and I seemed to be in the minority in being first timers at this resort as almost all the people we spoke with were returning guests. Having spent a week at CSA I can certainly see why people return year after year and plan on becoming a return guest as well.

Spent 7 days at Couples Swept Away, room was great, we would recommend a second floor room, better views. Food was good, lots of choice although I think they need 1 or 2 more sit down restaurants. Staying 7 days we felt we needed more options. Although pools were small it is not a pool resort, the beach is the sell on this resort absolutely beautiful. Great to have all activities included in price. Staff were great, friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any problems. We look forward to returning.

Overall, this place was beautiful and relaxing. The beach is one of the best we've seen with crystal clear water, little waves and sand like powder. The food is great - the 2 a la cart restaurants are spectacular but do fill up quickly with reservations. The only downfalls would be that space to sit in your room is limited to one chair or the bed, there is a lot of road noise in the garden verandah suites and the grounds aren't exactly lush - but the fact that the resort basically sits right on the beach more than makes up for that. The service and quality at every bar was awesome. We went scuba diving with the crew on site and had a great time. The people in general in Jamaica are the most welcoming and kind of all the countries we've been to. We will definitely return.

This hotel is on the most perfect part of seven mile beach. The resort is very well kept, the rooms are slightly dated but still nice and clean. The beds are on the firm side. The food was surprisingly delicious with a wide variety of options. The activities that are included are fantastic, especially the catamaran cruise! Most of the staff is very friendly. There are vendors on the beach that do try to engage but they do leave you alone if you say you are not interested. Overall, fantastic stay! Highly recommend.

Nice resort, staff were amazing. Only negative was road noise at rooms along the road! The beach was great, property is well maintained. The Feathers menu is very good. Resort was not over crowded, no line ups for anything.

Beautiful property with lush mature tropical trees, nice rooms and huge deck (terrible road traffic noise in gardenview verandah suites). Fantastic beach and great security staff to discourage harrassment from beach peddlers. Good food. Friendly staff. Quick check in and check out but reception staff needs to brush up on making guests feel welcome. They were generally aloof and impatient.

As this was our 12th time to Jamaica, but our first time to Couples Swept Away, we did enjoy most of what the Hotel offered. We were under the impression that there was 24 hour room service, but found out on our late arrival, that room service was only for breakfast. That was disappointing, but no big deal. Our coffee maker didn't work, found that out on morning #1, and considering we get up at 5:30 am every day, it could have been an issue. The front desk sent another one to our room, and it worked, and that was great. The weather was great, we were hoping for an upgraded room, because we are Couples repeat guests (been to Couples Negril), but that didn't happen, and that was fine also. We paid a ton of money for our 5 day trip, and as I said, we've been to Jamaica many times. We would not return to this particular property, unless it was on sale, because we have been to many RIU's and Sandals, and other Couples properties, and we didn't feel that this one was worth what we paid. The staff was great, the room was okay, but just not worth what we paid.

No complaints about Couples Swept Away! Beautiful beach, wonderful staff, and the property itself was outstanding. I have never been to an all inclusive before where the staff were so gracious and kind. Would love to return one day to paradise.

Overall the hotel was great, and we enjoyed a fantastic vacation. It was very clean, nice rooms, great amenities and had very pleasant staff. The beach was simply gorgeous and the resort did not seem to be crowded at all. Lots of chairs available at the beach at any time of day. Food was standard, nothing stood out, except for the unfortunate snails pace of service at Seagrape café and Cabana Grill (not to mention, at Cabana Grill once the food got to us it was cold , that will teach us for ordering fries and onion rings!) The only other issue was our phone kept ringing at all times of the night, well, actually it was only twice, however, when we asked for a wakeup call on the day of departure, we neglected to receive a call. I think I know how the unintended recipient felt! Thank goodness for cell phone alarms.

We had an amazing 7 night vacation at CSA and everything exceeded our expectations. Room: We stayed in the Garden Verandah suite - yes, we can hear the traffic noise but we were not in our room mostly and noise was not a problem for us at night. Room is clean, bed is firm and very comfortable, big and wide balcony. Food: Very good - Patois, Palms, Feathers, Cabana Grill and SeaGrapes. Lemongrass is okay - we have had better Thai food back home. You have to try fish tacos and all the delicious salads at SeaGrapes. Natasha at the wellness hut makes the best carrot/beet/ginger juice and Mango smoothie. Top shelf liquor. Activities: So much to do. In general, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Renay (dive centre) - most patient and encouraging scuba instructor who helped me overcome my fear of water/depth during the Scuba Discovery in the pool. Anthony (dive centre) who created an opportunity for me to experience Scuba Discovery in the pool when the scheduled activity was already fully booked. Our one-on-one lessons with David, Brenton and Donovan at the tennis centre - showed the right techniques and corrected our bad habits. We did the catamaran tour. We plan to return next year and spend more time.

The food was amazing, the beach was beautiful, and the staff was great, very friendly and accommodating! We took full advantage of the watersports, there's so much more included here than your typical all-inclusive. We stayed in a Gardenview room; the room itself was nice, but the road noise was noticeably loud especially morning and evening, although with the a/c on it was mostly drowned out. The resort's a nice size, with everything in easy walking distance. Overall, a wonderful resort and an enjoyable and relaxing week. We would definitely return :)

This was our very first all inclusive and we loved it !! The grounds of the resort were pristine. The walkways and beach were always immaculate. The staff in all areas were always very pleasant and willing to assist us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we loved the tropical feel of them. The food was amazing !!! It was always fresh and a huge variety so you never had to eat the same thing twice. It was definitely a very romantic spot and we highly recommend it!!

Not only was the food great there was great verity with 5 restaurants 2 snack bars each with its own kitchen , a great selection of water sports and excursions topped of by excellent and friendly service

Well, where do I start? When we 1st arrived, our A/C didn't work, we were moved to a new room ASAP, all was good. I'm not sure I can say enough about the resort & staff @ CSA.. Everything was superb, the food, great variety, loved the buffet @ the Palms & having a coconut with breakfast was my special treat! We weren't able to visit as long pants is a requirement & they were forgotten. The beach is spectactular & very warm. There are lots of shade & beach chairs. CSA offer beach floaties (cushions for the chairs, that you can take in the water & lay on, very nice). We did an extra excursion to Rick's Cafe, not worth the $30 in my opinion, but if you have never seen people jump off a cliff into water, then, by all means, go. CSA offer a free excursion to Margarettaville on Wednesdays. We walked there down the beach, it was 5-10 minutes, had a $10 margaretta & enjoyed the view & headed back to our resort (CSA margaretta's are just as good & free!). We took advantage of the free paddle boards & kayaking & snorkeling offered @ CSA & enjoyed very much. I would say, if anything, a downfall are the peddlars that walk up & down the beach, constantly, I understand they are trying to make a living, but it does get a bit annoying after a while, as well, they all ask if 'you smoke?' Marjiuna is anywhere you want, any time, apparently our driver says it is legal as long as you don't have more than an ounce, there were a few smoking this at the resort. Another, the musicians, they will stop & play in front of you, but they have their bucket ready for tips. Also, from a Mr Ice Block, we ended up buying his CD's, nice memorabelia from Jamaica (alot of the musicians do have their CD's to sell)..We had a main floor Atrium room & loved it, it was perfect. In finishing up, there are alot of activities to do, plan your days, or not, we missed alot of fun stuff, just because we really enjoyed the beach & spent most time there, but there is also a big sports facility across the street that is for CSA (best Mango smoothie!), but activites all day long. If you are ever bored, it is no fault of CSA, they offer it all, I will be back! Stayed July 18 - 25 2015

The resort was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better time. Lots of things to do. Staff were very friendly. Very clean and well kept. Security was very relaxed but made me safe. The only part of the trip that was not perfect was the food. It was not bad but not amazing either.

This year was our third time at Swepr Away...our first 10-day stay......maybe 14 next year. The beach is great but the staff is fantastic !!! The most priceless experience was that dinner on the beach although it does come at a price !!!

We spent a fabulous week at Couples Swept Away. Beautiful beachfront location, great rooms, (very clean and comfortable), food above par for an all inclusive. People were amazing and friendly. Water sports offerings were great. Night snorkel a must! We will be back!

The beach was amazing. The watersports were so fun. We loved the Hobie cat and snorkelling. The sports facility was a hidden gem. we played tennis and a had a swim several mornings. Sumptuous gourmet food everyday. What more could you ask for?

The resort was incredible. From the moment we arrived to the day we left. The staff were all very helpful, friendly, each and every single person from the groundskeepers to the concierge were kind and welcoming. I have never felt this way at any other resort and we have travelled to many all inclusive resorts in the past. The beach was the best we've ever experienced. White sand, which was raked up by a machine every morning, and crystal clear calm water. Sting rays swimming by daily. The floaties provided by the resort made the beach loungers very comfortable and were a bonus to float on in the ocean! The only issue we had was finding chairs in the shade. This required very early mornings to "reserve" your beach lounger. The food was exceptional at all restaurants - Lemongrass and Feathers and Patois was amazing. The Seagrapes café on the beach had the most amazing sweet potato chips and dip as well as fish tacos! The rooms were always clean and very Caribbean flavour to them. Small and simple. The fitness facility across the street was incredible as well. My husband and I took full advantage of early morning tennis clinics, exercise classes (spin, bootcamp) and the weight room. A great resort for active guests. Our couples massage was also well worth the money, the staff was exceptional. The bar on the beach - Bamboo bar was incredible and fun times were had by all. Catamaran was included, no tipping which relieved the pressure was appreciated. We would definitely recommend Couples Swept Away to anyone looking for a beautiful beach, great food, fabulous staff. Well worth the money. I hope to return soon!

The beach was totally amazing miles white sand and crystal clear blue water. There is a restaurant for everyone, but patois was my favorite. The food was amazing. Breakfast was the best. Banana filled french toast is a must have with warm syrup and whip cream. Lots of great excursions included saves money. We had a veranda room and they were so nice to sit on and we could walk right off and we're a minute to the beach. Check in was fast and friendly. Great gym if you want to work out. But miles of beach makes for great walking. Rooms and housekeeping were good. My only complaint was no bath tub. I missed soaking and relaxing before dinner.

Beach and grounds where fabules,gardens where the best I have seen in any resort,rooms-very relaxcing ,clean and well appointed.restaurants and food was good,good variety,always hot and excelent service.Service was 5 stars

Great layout, very lush, amazing food, clean rooms, great patio, possibly best portion on 7 mile beach. Grounds clean but scrubby/not manicured, pools/hot tubs quite dirty, pools very small, lame nightly entertainment, some staff very gumpy.

The staff, rooms, grounds and food were all outstanding! The beach is endless soft, white sand. The sports centre is wonderful, and there are activities for everyone. You can do as much or as little as you like. The water sports staff are friendly and helpful and diving and snorkelling on the coral reefs was amazing . The sunset cruise and the little extra touches like fruit kabobs served on the beach, were all memorable This was our second trip and, we will return for a longer time next year.

The main lobby is very basic and does not reflect how great the resort is. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom door is not solid _ not good for newly weds... The staff is really friendly and the zero tipping policy makes the place a really enjoyable one. The food is good but the best of all is their tennis courts! The best courts I have ever played on. There are 5 clay courts and 5 hard courts. All extremely well maintained. And the resort includes free lessons, tailored to the player's skill level. I guess that is what makes this place so much better than the others: all the extras that are included in the one price you pay (scuba diving lesson and practice in the ocean; as many snorkling trips as you wish- they take you with a boat to the different coral riefs; tennis; sunset cruise in a catamaran). And the beach is extremely beautiful! That is the best of the whole place.

First time to a Couples Resort and all previous reviews were spot on in their descriptions. Did have a nice surprise thou finding the self serve frozen yogurt dispenser at the vegetarian grill. Note: Sept/Oct is rainy season and you should expect some rain most afternoons but they put umbrellas in your closet.

We went to Couples Swept Away for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. This resort was so beautiful, people were friendly and it felt like being part of a family. Beach was amazing, this was our first time on 7 mile beach and we look forward to coming back to this great place. Foam mattresses are great and you get to float on them in the water if you wish. We enjoyed the water sports (lots to chose from) and they were also very close and easy to find. Restaurants were excellent, great service throughout the resort.

We have only good things to say about Couples Swept Away. A beautiful, laid back adults only resort. The beach was incredible.....the best we've seen. The resort's amenities were great. The 25 meter pool is just outstanding for anyone who likes to swim. The food was to die for.....and the people that worked at the resort were gracious and lovely. We would go back in a heartbeat...this is one of our favourite places, ever.

Couples Swept Away is on of the best resorts in Jamaica, second time my wife and I had been there and very pleased both times. Very quiet and relaxing, food is awesome, piano bar in the evening is a must, and seven mile beach during the day is the place to be. Resort is couples only and adults only, just what we look for when taking a trip without the kids.
