We recently completed a 10-day stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark, and overall, our family had a wonderful time. The service was the standout highlight. A huge thank-you to Ariana at the front desk, who effortlessly accommodated us by quickly switching our room to a much quieter side of the property. The front desk even waived a portion of our resort fee unprompted, which was greatly appreciated.

We recently stayed at The Holiday Inn Orlando Suites and overall had a good experience. Our room was clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel welcome and comfortable. That said, there were a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The resort was undergoing construction during our visit, and our room was located in that section, which did slightly impact the overall atmosphere. The secondary pool was closed due to the construction, which was disappointing. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room didn’t seem to work properly — despite multiple adjustments, the temperature stayed around 74°F. Lastly, two of the main restaurants were closed for the majority of our trip, which limited our on-site dining options. The resort said this was due to it not being peak season (May). All of these things would have been nice to know prior too. That being said once the construction is complete, this is going to be an even more amazing and fun resort for families.

We had a great time with our family swimming and even going to Disney magic kingdom, This resort best fit our schedule and budget. Kids loved the games offered and of course the pool and water slides And us parents relaxing in the hot sun looking over our kids having a blast HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This resort has everything any family could want or need. The rooms were large and clean and the amenities are the resort will entertain kids and families of all ages. We would definitely recommend this resort.

The resort was very clean with lots to do, very close to hwy and Disney World, the shuttle to Disney was a 15 min ride, water park was great with fun afyernoon games put on by the staff, everyone was very welcoming and accommodating, would definatley stay again.

I will start by saying that when we arrived at 200 am we checked in and got taken to our room with a golf cart which was ok what wasn’t ok is the guy sat there and said well get in load your luggage and didn’t help nice service not .so rude.this resort for being a holiday inn does not offer anything they charge money for everything they can. It’s out in the middle of nowhere so if you didn’t have a car you were stuck buying food there.we ate the breakfast buffet one morning and my 10 year old nephew could eat free but not off the buffet that was a joke the breakfast they brought him for free could not feed a mouse they didn’t offer a continental breakfast or anything free coffee in the room there was 3 of us drinking coffee never gave us enough .we got told that the movies and lazer tag were free while staying at the hotel it wasn’t . The free shuttle well one night we waited for it at 1130 at night they didn’t show up we were all cold and tired we ended up taking a cab they gave us our money back but we had to go through all that for nothing .the only good thing about this hotel was Casey in the restaurant she helped us out with things .the last day we were stuck at the hotel we had to eat there all day very expensive when you have 3 kids they offer nothing I have stayed at holiday inns before and they at least offer free breakfast. We went out by the pool which we had to figure out on our own how to get into the area the hotel staff were no help .I do not recommend this hotel unless you have a car otherwise you are stuck there oh and one more thing they offered free wifi we didn’t have it till the last day brutal when you have kids and they are bored .dont stay here unless you want to spend lots of money .thanks sherry suthons

The hotel was great for a family vacation. Went with my daughter and my grandkids. They loved the pool and splash pad--the adult pool was under construction while we were there so didn't get to enjoy it. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite close to the splash pad, and I was concerned after reading other reviews that it would be nosey. It wasn't at all, though we were not there on a weekend. The rooms themselves are nothing fancy, but they were clean and the housekeeping staff were amazing with us. The hotel is located just about 5 minutes from Disney and offers free shuttles to any of the theme parks, which we took advantage of. The 4D movies at the hotel are expensive and not as good as the ones we saw at Magic Kingdom--I wouldn't do that again. There is a batman laser challenge that we never got the chance to experience--again seems a little pricy. We had a great time, staff were very friendly and all In all we would stay there again. Remember, a vacation is what you make of it- I did read a lot of reviews before I left that made me concerned-but remember people always seem to point out the bad things more than the good. Yes we did have to pay extra for parking and there were some hidden costs that I wasn't expecting but I would so do it all over again!

This hotel had lots for kids to do. The water slides, pool, basketball courts, mini golf, pool table, 4D theater. laser room and arcade provided enough variety for kids of all ages. As well the eating areas and stores in the market were a great addition. Things we liked: The pool side events held each day for all to participate in, pool side movie nights (swim and watch), the water slides and large bucket drop, other activities in the pool area, the pizza place in the market and lots of parking. The staff everywhere in the resort where friendly and accommodating and the lifeguards took their job seriously. Things to improve: Fresh towels and extra toilet paper should be checked on each day when the rooms are being cleaned. Guests should be aware that there are a limited number of spaces on the early free shuttles to parks, especially if you have booked fast passes for the beginning of the day. Recommendation: Adopt the green towel program. Place a notice in each room asking guests to reuse their towels to save energy. If one needs to be replaced leave it on the side of the tub so staff can change it out.

The pool area was great, most of the workers were very eager to please Unfortunately we had a bad experience with housekeeping, The floors were dirty we always had to ask for towels, One day they never even cleaned our room

We had a great time at this resort. Lots to do, especially for kids. Rooms are clean and service was great. We would definetely return here!! The only thing I would recommend is to have the pools open until 11 during the week instead of 10.

Good place if you have kids always something to do with them the staff very friendly and helpful motel room very clean and comfortable i will definitily go back there with the family next year the price is affordable for the regular working man

The Hotel was fabulous, we had a great time and the service was excellent, the room was amazing with a full kitchen that we were able to cook our food in and the pool and hot tub was very relaxing at night time after a long day of activities

We love this hotel ,I recommend this hotel to every family has kids,the locatio is perfect .we love the pool and all people there are really nice ..............................................................................................................

The hotel suite had a great layout. Was clean and comfy. Staff was helpful and not intrusive. Would have liked a slightly larger bathroom but it was adequate. Would highly recommend and we'll be back again!

We enjoyed our one-week stay at the Holiday Inn Orlando Suites - Waterpark Resort. The waterpark was a hit with our kids aged 11, 9 and 6 years old. The lifeguards were attentive, but not overbearing. The pool water was very warm and allowed for late evening swims even on the cool January evenings. The water on the slides was definitely much cooler, but that did not deter our kids from enjoying the waterpark area. The staff at the pool area played fun games with the kids. The rooms were a good size. We found it a little difficult to control the temperature, however, as most nights we felt either too hot or too cool. We didn't hear much noise from the waterpark area in front of our room, but the room beside ours had a crying baby and we could sometimes hear it in the night. We didn't eat in the breakfast buffet, but enjoyed pizza from the takeout area of the hotel and liked it very much. We had a rental car and found that the hotel is in a good location for accessing the Disney parks and other Orlando attractions.
