It was a fantastic resort. The grounds are amazingly beautiful, the beach wow it has been a while since I had so much fun. I recommend the place. Peaceful and pretty. They food, rooms and the. Service was fantastic. We had a great experience I am going back. The people were so friendly.

When you first arrive you are welcomed in with a warm relaxing atmosphere. Check in was a breeze although we did have to wait for our room to be ready. They stored our luggage for us as we went to the lunch buffet and got a few drinks. When we got into our room we realized it was much bigger then expected, with 2 double beds, a couch and table there was still plenty of room. The beds were hard as rocks as we do find this is common in most resorts we have stayed at. The beach was beautiful and we spent most of our time lounging along the shore or splashing around the ocean. There is also a pool with a swim up bar. The bar had a rain fall to walk through which I wasn't a huge fan of but could appreciate the thought by it. The pool was usually dead or filled with children. They did have afternoon activities by the pool that looked like great fun. The buffets were fantastic. Breakfast was made up of the same stuff, but still good. I didn't visit the lunch one very much during my stay but when I did I was very satisfied with my options, they always had pizza! Dinner was my favorite, something new every night to choose from and the chicken was amazing! We went to one a la carte and was very happy with the food and service at luna steak house. The meat was cooked perfectly and very tender. Servers were great and served us 4 or 5 bottles of champagne with dinner, a great night all around. The nightly entertainment was very amusing and indeed entertaining even though we didn't understand everything that was being said. I believe most of the guests during our stay were from Russia and Spain while we are Canadian. It was a great experience to meet people from all over even if there was a language barrier. There are animals everywhere and they are beautiful. I just love peacocks and flamingos. This was a good resort but could do with a few upgrades to be an even better one.

Overall it was a great experience, but would like to point out that we waited for over an hour inside the bus, waiting for other flights or families to clear customs (line up was excessively long that day!). Although we were comfortable in the bus with the air conditioning, we just wanted to get to our resort and relax. I think the airport transfers should be better planned. Upon reaching the resort, it was pleasant to see, and it was not long to check-in and get to our room. The staff were helpful, the entertainment group was great! We were pleased they greeted us by name, and requested us to participate in the beach/pool side games. The regular rooms do not have much appeal, and we had faulty electricity (the power even went out for 15 mins before we had someone come by to fix). We upgraded to a premium room by day 4. Only one pool may be a problem when the resort is at peak season. Saw there were not many chairs available by mid-day. Food was good, but not much variety. Breakfast same every day. The a la carte restaurants were great!

The gardens are beautifully landscaped. The rooms need upgrading... specially the doors...in the age of card keys and chips there they still have the old key locks and they offered to change our room since it had only one key and they had no new locks to install at the door. They should keep an eye with bugs at the buffet. Entertainment was Ok applause for Rambo the entertainer. Bars were Ok Buffet food was pretty good Overall we think it was good enough for a 3 stars rate but not a 4+ as they are rated

Beautiful grounds. Amazing view from our room looking over a pond. Full of tropical birds and wildlife. Food was delicious and there was great variety. Entertainment staff were very friendly and put on a great show every night. Hats off to Anna for always keeping us entertained. Hotel staff friendly and professional. Looking forward to my next stay.

When we were first given our room it was old and unimpressive. We up graded to a select room, which was better, but still old (phone didn't work properly, bathroom door came of the track). However they did come to fix these things when asked. Resort grounds were beautiful. Beach and pool were nice and had lots of seating and bar. Food in buffets was great, booked 2 specialty restaurants and they were mediocre. Good resort if you get a good deal, but would spend the money and go to the Barcelo or Riu's if you want great.

The experience was amazing. The staff were very helpful and kind. Everything was easy to locate. Sunsets were fantastic. I wouldn't mind going back there in the future. The Magic show and the Micheal Jackson shows were both really good as well. Great performances

The resort grounds were life changing, very unique and beautiful. Dining spaces were perfect and always clean, the food was amazing every meal. I recommend the resort to anyone who is looking for something very natural and different.

This resort is one of the best we have stayed at, grounds,beach and food perfect. No elevator from lobby to main floor, only issue. Our only regret, was we only stayed 1 week not 2 weeks. Note, this is a family resort, FYI

The grounds: very wild and natural, lots of plants and trees everywhere. The workers were constantly cleaning up leaves/garbage.. VERY well maintained, considering all the wildlife too! Food: 3 different a la cart (where you have to book). Which were all amazing. The buffet is phenomenal, so many different options, very diverse. The restaurant off the beach for lunch was also VERY good. Entertainment: Absolutely phenomenal. There was a different show every night and all were full of laughter. The Micheal Jackson show was OUTSTANDING. so much commitment. We filmed most of it and couldn't pick our jaws up off the floor it was that good. Facilities: Our room was beautiful and had so much space, very very clean (we upgraded to the select rooms). The restaurants are beautiful, mostly outside, but all very clean and pretty. Service: We didn't have beach towels in our room for the first day and kept asking, it took a while to get them..but when we did, they left a fruit tray in our room and a bottle of champagne for the inconvenience. SO great. The servers and bartenders were all so friendly and kind to us. The resort is relatively small, but doesn't feel that way. Everything was close so we didn't ever have to walk too far ! Also, so much wildlife around from flamingos to turtles etc. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Beautiful pool area, tranquil setting with numerous walkways and foot bridges surrounding you with ponds and birds. Plentiful buffets of high quality foods. Good hospitality from servers. Disappointed with activities and most nightly shows were all in Spanish and ended too soon. No night life to speak of or dancing opportunities. Perfect resort to relax and unwind. Some people complained about their rooms with air conditioners leaking, fridges and TVs not working or funky smelling rooms. Weather was great for beach with water activities offered for free such as sailing, paddle boats, etc.

Really beautiful grounds, I've noticed many details visually on the grounds that are important for the harmony and clam of the place. The animals are adorable. The food is good, restaurant Media Luna and gondola are super. Pearl is not worth it. Employees are smiling and laughning a lot. Room service ok, always surprised when staff is sulking when no tips for them. Do bring 1$ tips for everyone. Reception desk had problems when I was there...Had to change room because no wifi that was needed for exercises. Publicity said they had wifi in ordinary room...140$ american for upgade. Wifi did not work for 3 days. It was repaired twice. Expensive for a 31/2* Secure place.Boom boom is not overwhelming. Beach is mot nice. I went for snorkling, I am disapointed.. Coral is sad sad sadly damaged. Outing to Catalina with Nexus tours,for snorkling: not good, they feed the fish to attract them and very little, but island lovely and beach and boat tour, super. I went left of resort beach to find fish, had to go about 50 meters away from beach but good. I don't use pool.

Beautiful grounds, always keeping it beautifully manicured. Clean rooms, good food, nice stretch of beach It’s 3.5 or 4 star rating so don’t complain it’s not 5 star. Could use some updating in the rooms for sure.

The resort overall is very nice, lots of food options, staff are very nice and friendly. Lots of nature in the resort in terms of birds, peackocks, ducks, flamingos, etc. Lots of green trees, palms and bushes. Ocean was great, the beach however needs to be cleaned of the seaweeds more often. The hotel rooms need some upgrade. I've stayed in super savers rooms in other resorts and the rooms were very simple but at least the bedding would be colourful and the maid would always make either swans or hearts with the towels. It doesn't cost anything but coming back to the room from being outside all day makes the experience a lot nicer and happier. The rooms at Blau Natura eco didn't have that :-( Overall very happy with my stay but if those little things were added I'm sure it would have been nicer!

Beautiful grounds with nice sights and sounds of wildlife. Daily upkeep to the grounds so is also very clean. Enjoyed the daily entertainment. People working at the resort are very friendly. Only one negative: too many smokers. They do have designated areas, but they are too close to the non-smoking areas. It would be nice if they could have a non-smoking area by the beach near the resort.

Requires additional washrooms by pool .Bar’s near pool should be open all day and night. Washrooms should be maintained on an hourly bases. Making people check in without providing the correct room is a problem. Additional staff should be put on front desk during checking times.

Firstly - the most impressive aspect of the resort is the grounds. The tropical gardens and assortment of bird life is very pleasing. The beach area is well kept and secure. Seaweed may be a bit of a problem depending on the time of year but staff do clear daily. The food choices in the buffet and three specialty restaurants were surprisingly pleasing. Rooms were fine (I chose a select upgrade) although occasional problem occurred with air conditioning and plumbing. The entertainment was enjoyable about half the time. One area of disappointment for me was the lack of dancing at night. Overall if you are looking for a very relaxing holiday I would recommend this resort. Note that weekends could be very busy with local guests but weekdays are/were nicely quiet in early November.

The hotel grounds, pools, beaches and restaurants are quite nice. However, the rooms were very old and in need of TLC. We had to upgrade to a newly renovated Premiun room = $30/day xetra A lot of Russians and Argentinians in the hotel

This was are second stay at this resort and we will not return the beach was beautiful but the hotel it self is in need of some major improvement.Food was good lots of choices but next time we go to Punta Cana it will be at another resort

Really enjoyed everything about the hotel. Food was amazing, tons of selection and really fresh and tasty. Room was gorgeous. Staff was helpful and kind. Beautiful grounds to walk through on your way to and from the buffet back to your room. A stream runs through the middle with peacocks, ducks, and flamingoes. Only downside is the pestering from sales people for excursions and trinkets. I know they have to make money, but 5+ times a day is annoying. Other than that, a fabulous and relaxing stay.

The grounds were pretty and the food was good however the entertainmemt was lacking, dull and repeatative. Also the rooms were is very rough shape and the upgrade rooms werent much better for the money

As this was a 3 1/2 star hotel, We managed our expectations before arriving. I was pleasantly surprised by the Blau. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there are flamencos, peacocks and other types of birds all around that are stunning. I would recommend staying in one of the select rooms only as although they are not glamorous they are much better than the standard room which are in need of much repair. The food was very good and so was the service for the most part. The beach had seaweed that wasn't picked up daily and so I probably would not recommend this hotel if your looking for a pristine beach. All in all, with some TLC and with much needed repairs including the front reception area outside roof, this could easily be a 4 star resort. We enjoyed our time there.

The grounds were kept nice and clean. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great. It was very windy and rained almost every day. (No fault of the resort). The beach area was littered with seaweed on the shore. My biggest complaint would be the vendors on the beach, they kept walking back and forth trying to sell their items, it became very annoying. I was approached inside and outside the hotel by people wanting to sell me an excursion which I wasn’t interested in. At times they were aggressive in their sales pitch, I just wanted to relax at the resort, I didn’t want to leave the resort or spend any additional money. The food was good, the drinks were good and the room was nice. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room daily and replenished the mini fridge.

The food was great I'd make it a 5 star. The rooms were ok lije a 3.5 star just because they were old and only small beds if we wanted to upgrade to a queen or king it was 20$a person per night. The beach was dirty lots of weeds but that's not really the resorts fault but it was not cleaned daily. The pool and grounds were good loved the animals like lots of flamingos and some peacocks and other birds and ducks. But otherwise a good resort

Cockroach in the room the first night and then even in the middle of the day. You’re there to relax and you get a wake up call for a meeting on your first day. Then the maids get you up the other mornings. They don’t respect the sign not to be disturbed! They don’t clean the room properly and don’t leave any change anywhere they’ll pick it up. They are loud and annoying. Open concept building, never again. Not much activities at night, sound system is terrible and stops working at times. No disco. No need for venter night on the resort. The food is good and staff is ok. The beach is not nice lots of weed/algae’s they can’t keep up with the clean up. The beach is not far away from a port. You have to walk a distance to have crystal clear water, as if the hotel is badly situated. Air Transat schedules their flights to 4-5 different outbounds all at same time??? The flight was delayed after three hours of waiting in lineup for boarding pass at the airport. I do not recommend this hotel.

The resort was very well maintained and clean. The beach is extensive and staff are constantly working to clear it of sea grass. As it is an Eco-Resort, there are numerous bird species which reside in and around the many ponds on site. Flamingos and peacocks roam freely throughout the resort. I would suggest the "SELECT" upgrade as it does provide a few perks, not to mention premium drinks. This also provides a newly renovated room. Meals were varied and well prepared. The buffet always had a variety of foods. I was somewhat disappointed in having Budweiser beer in our room mini bar. The other drawback was having to fly through Punta Cana airport. On our return trip, we were three hours checking in for boarding passes, clearing security and immigration. Having flown Sunwing Airlines seems to be the problem as they had numerous flights destined for Canadian cities within a short period of time. Other airline check-ins were less crowded. In all, Blau Natura is a wise choice for a beautiful relaxing holiday.

Blau Natura Park Resort is truly a beautiful place. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Flamingos walk the grounds as well. Beach always has seaweed on it and the workers are so slow cleaning it they never finish. Beach next door to the hotel (Dreams) always clean. Only one washroom to accommodate beach dwellers and people using pool. Food is great as well as the rooms. Only draw back for older people is no elevator from lobby down to main area and getting luggage up those stairs is hard. Thankfully a young man offered to carry my bad up when we were leaving.

Great rooms with view of ocean or pool. Food good. Ocean was warm and right out your backdrop. Weather good for October. Lots to do. Vendors could not get to close to you. You had to go to them or not. All workers were happy and polite. Shows were fun.

The grounds were well kept. The staff was pleasent and helpful. The rooms were clean. It was a wonderful experience. I will tell friends and family members about my stay at the resort and I will be returning next year.

My wife and I stayed at the Blau Natura Park Resort. It is a beautiful resort .The food was very good. We had the select room and it was worth the extra cost. The select rooms are very nice and placed near the beach and pool area.The Wi-Fi was good and could be used through-out the resort.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Many of the birds including the flamingos and peacocks can be hand fed.This resort gets a big thumbs up and we plan to return next year.

We stayed at this resort fromFeb 12th to Feb 19th 2017 and had a wonderful time. The room we stayed in needed updating but was adequate enough for us. We stayed in building 12 which was close to the main buffet and lobby. The view from our second floor balcony was beautiful as there are very mature plants and trees on the grounds as well as many beautiful birds to watch. The dining experiences at all 3 a la carte restaurants were beyond our expectations. Service was wonderful and so was the food. We were also pleasantly surprised at how good the food was at the main buffet. There was a good variety of dishes to chose from every day. The service however was hit and miss which was not a big deal once we learned we could just get our own coffee. There is,also a wide variety of bar drinks to choose from and most were mixed well. We stuck to those as the wine was very mediocre. You can purchase bottles of different wine which might be better but opted not to. The beach is great for long walks as it is powdery white sand and the water is turquoise blue and awesome for swimming. The only problem we encountered was that last Friday was the beginning of reading week and a fairly large group of university students ended up at the resort. We had absolutely no problem that except that we were on the receiving end of many many " sorry wrong room" knocks at all hours of the day and night and the noise level in the wee hours was a a bit much. Other than that the trip was excellent and I would definitely go back again. It was definitely good value for the money

This resort was so beautiful and tranquil. In a tropical atmosphere with different types of birds walking around was amazing. My favorite experience there was a beautiful dinner on the beach from Transat , thank you Transat this was a memory ill keep in my heart forever. We stayed 11 nights and loved this resort.food was great,staff friendly and beach was amazing with lots of shade,only complaint is that the vendors on the beach are very aggressive .we would return to this resort without hesitation Thanks to Oneal Graham at Trip central for helping us book this vacation

Great resort, good food, nice drinks, amazing beach.This was my second stay at this resort and both times I enjoyed greatly.This resort provides fun for all age groups as well as many extra activities are available with the vendors around.

This is one of the prettiest resorts we have been to. The staff were all friendly, rooms lovely, and the food delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone as there is something to keep everyone happy

We were 4 couples in January 2017. The buffet was great with many different selections. The ala cartes were tasty and not disappointing. We played bocce ball many times, walked the beach, enjoyed meeting new people and the staff were friendly and most helpful. This was our 2nd year at the resort.

We had a great stay Nov. 2016. Our room was great. Had everything we needed. lots of renos going on but we did not hear any noise. The beach was fantastic. The pool was small but fine. All the staff were great. Helpful in all regards. I do believe if the resort was full is would be quite crowed. Food was good. and the buffet staff fantastic. Keeping the wine glass full! We enjoyed the wine they served. Tons of fresh fruit and great desserts. we went to the 3 speciality resturants. The Steak one was so nice and great atmosphere. Steak was perfect. staff so attentive top notch. Italian rest. also good but seafood awful really do not expect much. The resort grounds were awesome. Loved the birds. I would recommend this resort to anyone on a budjet. One thing I did not like was the Russian guests. They are loud and rude. I think my husband and I were the only English speaking guests. The only problem we had was trying to figure out the light switches very funny really. The aircon worked great. loved the nice big balcony. also funny a brand new coffee maker but no place to plug it in..LOL

Over all the Blau Natura Park Resort was a very good resort. The staff excellent, the food was good and restaurant's very good. The rooms are dated but clean. Fridge was stocked each day by friendly staff.The grounds are beautifully kept with wildlife freely walking about. Night shows were pretty much what you get at any resort. This resort is small but not crowded, lots of chairs available at pool and beach. The pool was well kept, the beach beautiful and also not crowded. A very good value for a very good resort. Only a 20 minute ride from airport.

My husband and I have traveled very extensively and have stayed at many resorts in and around Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Blau Resort is one that we will remember as being the best resort for people who want to relax and enjoy their vacation. The resort was very clean. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure that guests were enjoying their stay. We were able to connect with the animation team in such a way that it was very hard saying goodbye on our last day. The grounds were so beautiful with the many walk-ways, bridges, flamingos, peacocks,exotic birds, ducks, fish and turtles that you were able to feed as you strolled about. There was even a mamma cat and her kitten that stole some hearts. The pool at night was breathtaking to watch as the lights in the water changed from blue, green, pink and purple. The grounds were a nature lover's paradise with the tropical gardens, vines, bushes, and palm trees. The beach was excellent with white sand and warm blue-green water that sparkled in the moonlight. We were able to capture a picture of the "huge" moon that happened while we were there peeking up through the palm trees and cascading its light over the pool. We will most definately return to the Blau Resort.

This is the 2nd time I have been to this resort. Still as amazing as ever. Staff are fantastic, beach is beautiful and food is very tasty!! I would return for a 3rd time as had a wonderful vacation. The staff arrange for great entertainment and fun times for all. This resort rates 4 stars+. I'll be back soon.................... Sheila

This is the 3rd time I have been to Blau Natura and it keeps getting better, not that it was bad before. The food has improved and the service and animation team are the best compared to any resort I have visited, and there are alot. Our room in building 8 was the best and I always request this building as it is close to the pool and beach. Juan Louise, who works in guest services went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and help us with a room switch. The resort did not get our requests for building 8 but juggled a few things and made it happen. Raquel is the best bartender and server and the nicest person ever. Carmelo at the a la cartes always has a smile and Ledy and Eddy Murphy with the animation team got everyone involved in all the games. This resort is a hidden gem with all the wildlife (flamingos, peacocks, ducks and birds) that live on the resort and wander around at large. I would definitely return and I highly recommend it.

This place is amazing. Although the rooms aren't the best the people make up for it. The device was always friendly and welcoming and the food exceeded my expectations. They constantly change up the buffet options and have country themed nights for food.

The grounds were well kept, and it was cool to be in the natural environment. Food was average, bar tenders didn't speak much English which made it challenging, but overall clean hotel. Noise carried easily in the room configuration so there wasn't one night I wasn't woken up (coming from someone who doesn't wake up easily). Vendors were set up at the hotel one day which was a bit of a nuisance because they are very aggressive sales people. Lots of options for excursions, and we chose some really fantastic ones. Overall enjoyed my first stay at an all inclusive, but it was clear there are many more resorts to try.

Went there expecting a three and half star but felt it was much better. Food was great. Staff were great. The grounds were beautiful and the beach, oh the beach, perfect. Palm trees galore, no bugs and lots of activities.

I have traveled to this area first time and find out the real and nature beauty of this resort ...the all areas in general were clean,very friendly staff,good food and I with my friend Anna really enjoyed the time there...hope to return to this place someday in the future and recommend this resort to others Cheers

I was more than pleased about the resort/people/service/room. I walked into this paradise and was wonderfully surprised. I was given the model suite as they are renovating rooms - it was beautiful/warm and inviting. The people could not have been more friendly or hospitable - nothing was too much for them. The resort had many species of birds within the park. The birds were not afraid of people and whould anxiously feed from your hand. Species were Pink Flamingos/Peacocks/Storks/and many others I was not familiar with. The beach was well kept and very accessible. The food - where do I start - steak house/Italian/seafood,and the buffets were amazing. I can say the best food I have had at a resort in a long time. I would recommend this resort to anyone as it was beyond expectations. I would rate it as a 4+++. I will be returning. WONDERFUL TIME...GREAT VACATION. A satisfied guest.

Blau Natura is a Wonderful resort (Don't bother listening to the Negative Folks) We took our children & each took a friend (6 total) For A Great Time !!!!! 1. It is a Perfect size, not too big (like some fancier ones) & not too small 2. The property is very well maintained inside & out The gardens and wildlife are incredible 3. All of the Staff are very helpful & Friendly 4. The Food was very good everyday at the Buffet and the 3 Reservation Restaurants added an elegant touch to our trip with Delicious food & service 5. The pool area had plenty of lounge chairs for all & the bar under the waterfall was of course very convenient and fun 6. The Beach was amazingly great and the hotel had more chairs & umbrellas & Palupa huts for sun shade than you can shake a stick at, very nice 7. Lots of beach toys too, they have 3 Hobie Cats which we sailed on 3 days which was wonderful (ALL FREE) along with Sail Boards, Kayaks & paddle boards 8. Go to the beach & turn left and you can walk for two miles between the jungle & the ocean as this is a nature preserve area and it is BEAUTIFUL !! All of this and its only about a 1/2 hour from Punta Cana airport We did go on a couple of excursions and all went according to schedule which made our trip even more enjoyable WHAT MORE CAN ANYONE ASK FOR, SEEK & ENJOY MY FRIENDS Sincerely: The Russell's Snow Country Of Pa, USA P.S. Makers: Beautiful, well-kept grounds, lots of wildlife to watch All Restaurant food was good, drinks good too. Got a little tired of the Mantovani style music in the buffet restaurant, otherwise got to hear some good Dominican music in areas around the hotel. Entertainment nightly with the exception of Dominican Night when the vendors come in to sell. Really lovely buildings with thatched roofs, comfy furniture in receptions and lobby. Very nice pool area, beach is right after the pool at the end of the complex. Large, lots of chairs, lots of activity options with separate areas for swimming and water sports. Good gift shop that accepted DR pesos or US dollars but not Cdn. Dollars. Best A/C in the building, staff was very nice and helpful. Staff: Wonderful, kind, patient, polite. Thank you to Kerry, Luis and Angel at reception, Ezekiel and J Flow from the animation team. The room was clean, the towels clean and white. Thank you Mirabel from housekeeping who brought us a fruit plate and a small bottle of rum as welcome. Very meticulous with cleaning our room. Entertainment: Each night there were activities for children from 8ish to 9 and then entertainment such as karaoke, Miss and Mr. Blau Natura, Bingo. Especially enjoyed the Michael Jackson review, you could tell the entertainment staff worked hard and long to produce the show Vacation Breakers: The rooms have standard key locks with only 1 key; they need to upgrade the locks to a card system. Wi-Fi is available for 15 min. free each day in reception, otherwise you have to buy premium, which had to be purchased in US currency at the kiosk or if you had enough time with the free internet, it could be purchased with PayPal. Needed help from the staff to get that set up. The room: yes, the beds are very very, firm, they need to upgrade those mattresses as well as the TVs. A/C: Not very good, so there was a ceiling fan to compensate, at times the ceiling fan rocked so violently I was afraid it would come crashing down on us as we slept. The poor A/C combined with the high humidity made us northerners uncomfortable in our rooms. We were supplied with shampoo and body wash but not conditioner. Again Mirabel came to my rescue and brought me some without me asking. The shower’s water pressure was rather low and at one point we had no water and had to call down the desk to get it rectified. Overall, we have a good vacation, but the little things made a difference in the quality of our stay.

We stayed there for five days from March 5-9th. When we first checked in there was a mix up with our room but the staff member that assisted us was efficient and very helpful. However, the first room we were shown was spacious, updated and had a flat screen TV. The room we ended up getting was old, with dated furniture and an old school box TV in which we never received a remote for so we had to keep getting up to change the channel. Since we were tired and hot, plus were only staying for a few days, we decided to make do with the room. Also, we were supposed to leave been provided with beach towels in our room but never received any. We had to go back and forth between the towel hut and front desk due to an obvious lack of communication between the two. In addition, there are too many locals on the resort trying to hackel you into going on an excursion. I've never been to a resort before where you're being harassed by at least 3 people on your way to your room! This was the biggedt annoyance for me. Keep three trusted excursion companies and/or reps seated in the lobby. The last thing your guests want is to be consistently harassed to and/or from their rooms and especially from people whom you can't distinguish whether or not are trusted or just a local trying to make a buck. The food is okay...look at for some under cooked food but that could happen anywhere. My last day I got food poisoning even though I was mindful of what I ate. The only saving grace was the beautiful peacocks and pink flamingos that seem to live on the grounds. Absolutely beautiful creatures! And gives the resort that added exotic feel. There's nothing like coming out of your room and having these exotic birds right in your backyard! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would only suggest that seeing as most tourists that frequent the resort speak English, that the staff be versed in it as well. Trying to communicate with house keeping about getting more towels was a mission! Not every experience about this hotel was a bad one. I would recommend it, I would just want potential guests to be aware of my experience. Would I return?? No. Simply because there are some amazing hotels in Punta Cana that I'd like to try out next.

This is a decent resort for the price. The food, including the buffet, is actually pretty good...and the steak house was fabulous. The drinks weren't watered down and the main bar at the front is a great place to relax and have drinks or coffee with friends. The pool is ok, however its not very big and the swim-up bar is kind of cave like, so we didn't like that very much. The beach was great. Apparently the week before we arrived there was a lot of seaweed, however we must have lucked out because we had a green flag and almost no seaweed all week. And there are plenty of loungers on the beach. Unfortunately, there are A LOT of vendors on the beach. Some work through the resort and some work independently. Our friends purchased a horseback riding excursion from one of them, and had a great time. The rooms are decent and clean, with the fridge restocked daily. We of course tip the maid daily, with cash or items we brought from the dollar store. One bad thing is you get just one key....not even a key card...but a key...and it has the room number on it! Be sure to wear bug spray because although you can't see or feel them, you are getting a lot of bites....in fact my legs were covered with blistering bites. Out of our group of 4, I was the one to get really sick when we got home....to the hospital twice and in bed for a week. Doctors suggest it was something I ate. There is no way to know if it was from the resort or from the food we had on one of the excursions we took. There is a pretty decent market about a 15-20 minute walk from the resort. We felt pretty safe walking there.

Stayed Jan 2016...wonderful holiday, staff was very nice and accomadating. Beach was outstanding and the food was good however a little bit more variety would have been nice. The room we stayed in was just ok...clean but needed updating. Although we did not spend too much time in the room so that was ok. Resort grounds are outstanding!!!

I've been to 5 all inclusive over the last 10 years. This one was average. I would have liked to seen more daily activities. The entertainment was pretty cheesy too. Also the seaweed was so incredibly bad on shore and they only had 2 or 3 guys removing it...so it was never completely removed. I'm talking 2 feet high and in some areas 10 feet wide of seaweed. It smelt bad and made the water brown. To actually see blue water, you had to go out in a boat. Beautiful gardens, good food and drinks, staff were great, water sports good too.

Stunning resort, beautiful grounds, amazing people, food was excellent, room was wonderful......I have traveled to a lot of places this was the best resort I have ever stayed in and I have been to many.

We went to the resort on September 4 for a week . Admittedly before we took off , we were a little concerned as we saw some negative reviews about the resort . But when we were checking in our concerns were eased bit by bit . We checked in at about 9:30 pm .The front desk Flor was very thoughtful , she asked us to go to the restaurant to eat first as it was closing. And she would watch over our luggage at the front desk and allocate us the room . Very considerate service ! And the room she gave us amazed us . Very clean room , it is not dated at all . We, a party of 3 people , were very happy with every detail of the room . Next morning when we explored the resort , we found the grounds beautiful and clean really like a nature park with those lovely ducks , geese , peacocks and flamingos . The beach though not one of the best because of massive seaweed, but resort staff did a very good job clearing the seedweed . Therefore we stayed on the beach whole day 2 days in a week and quite enjoyed it . In fact we preferred the beach to the pool which is also out of sight with a fantastic swim up bar . How can we not mention the restaurant , the food and the servers' servicewhen we were impressed by the resort . We were all happy with main buffet restaurant at every breakfast , lunch and dinner . We tried all the a la carte resturants , all were epic , especially the Gondola Italian restaurant . My wife was moved as the staff came surprisingly with a birthday cake to celebrate her birthday . Thank You ! Herrera and your coworkers ! All the servers and bartenders are warm and enthusiastic , especially Flor , Herrera and Tony . You all deserve my commendation . One more thing , do not miss the burger at the snack bar on the beach . We all loved it . All in all , we had a great time at the resort with nothing disappointing . We strongly recommend this resort and will definitely come back . Blau Natura Park , keep up the good work .

Beautiful landscape and Eco friendly resort. The peacock, goose, ducks, flamingos co exist with the people.. Excellent food with wide selection. Never boring as nightly entertainment for people who likes the night scene. Drinks to quench your thirst

this was a very nice hotel with only a few problems. There should be more to do at night time. This hotel also lets the people on the resort that sells there tours so they always are bugging you, The grounds are nice and well cared for the food is good and most of the staff are nice

The check in was quick . Our room request was accepted. the grounds were kept very clean, the food was very good at buffets all staff were friendly through-out the resort would not hesitate to recommend this resort.

Great food, clean rooms, amazing service, the most beautiful grounds, so much wildlife, perfect beach. Excellent value for the money. We stayed on floor three of building 3, 15 foot vaulted ceilings, extra King sized be, beautiful view of a pond from. Our balcony. The only downfall are the ococcasional low water pressure and the air conditioning is mediocre at best, however, the Breeze is always there, it's an Eco Resort so you can't expect them to crank the AC, we still loved it.

Blau Natura Eco Resort was fantastic, clean and fun. The staff was hilarious and tried to keep those interested involved. The resort is older but I do not go on vacation to stay in my room is I'm ok with things not being updated! Good value for the price and simple fun get away! Definitely would go back again! :)

This resort was great! The food was excellent, staff was awesome and the grounds were beautiful, also the bed are very comfy! There were a few small maintenance issues, ie balcony light was broken air conditioning was mediocre. But all in all it was a great value for the price! We all had an awesome family vacation!

Overall I loved this place, the food was excellent, and abundant. Rooms were clean, comfortable and for the most part, well maintained. We were a group of 28 and some had some minor issues with their rooms (air conditioning not great, fridge didn't work etc..) but nothing trip killing. One complaint I had was that when we checked in, late at night, there was not sufficient staff to show us the way to our rooms, and in the dark, it was a bit difficult to find our way around.

Upon arrival at the Punta Cana airport we had some concerns. It was noted from Airport staff that Blau was run down, rustic and possibly unsafe. This was not the case. Blau maybe is not as manicured as your 4 or 5 star resorts, but provides a semi rustic charm. The wildlife, the staff and the food was spectacular! I have stayed at Sandals, Dreams and Iberostar. For my dollar the Blau was well worth it. Staff is fantastic. Big shout out to Julio (our server for the week) and of course Elvis the sweetheart of the Blau. My four year old daughter felt like a princess the entire week and enjoyed many a mini-disco. We are considering a return at Christmas.

We stay here Feb 16-Feb 23. The resort was sold out but it never felt that way. There was always plenty of loungers by the pool and on the beach. The grounds are well kept and the resort is clean. The wifi is strong and located in public areas (pool, lobby and resturants) it cost $25 US for 24 Hours. The 3 al carte resturants were good. Buffet was sufficient and was to be expected for an all inclusive resort. Bedrooms are spacious and clean. Our bathroom outlet, and iron didn't work (4127) building ix, and our other room (4125) same building the floor in the shower bottomed out, this was never fixed and they put a towel down and said to use that. The staff was great, maid, bartenders, wait staff and bell boys. Unfortunately management not so good. The resort is beautiful with lots of birds even peacocks and flamingos. The grounds are lush with lots of vegetation which makes it so nice compared to other resorts in the area. We did two excursions, tiger dube buggy which the boys (3) had a great time, you get very very muddy! But good value, we paid $50 a person and you can negotiate with them, other paid up to $75 a person. The girls had a Ocean Adventures Spa with Dr. Fish they locals call it. This was $150 for 3 hours and well worth the money, services and food was GREAT!

I have been to many places, but this Blau Resort will match any in the world, the location, the grounds, pools,plants and trees, interesting areas, shade if you want it, a fantastic fresh food, entertainment stage shows,Bingo dancing.Great value and very good service in every area. The inclusive is grat valu. This place is very clean and tidy as well - Fantastic, Yes, I'll be coming back.

I was a bit skeptical of this resort prior to arriving. We usually book at leaf a solid 4 star or higher BUT once we settled in and toured the grounds we were extremely pleased with the choice The grounds crew are always busy trimming tidying and cleaning. Some rooms were dated but clean and the cleaning staff were thorough and friendly The waiter service at the bars were Always happy and friendly The food was always good and lots of choices. I would recommend this resort to everyone

The resort was just as it showed online. Beautiful lush grounds, sandy beaches and great staff. It was a short walk to shopping outside of the resort and an amazing walk along the beach. The food was good with plenty of selections for even the pickiest of eaters. I would definitely go back.

We just returned from a vacation at Natura Park late in January. The weather was spectacular and we enjoyed our stay very much. The service was excellent at this hotel and the buffet for each meal had great variety and excellent food. For the price of this resort we thought it was a great value. If you want some of the things that the other more higher rated resorts you will need to pay more. We wanted a beach vacation with good all inclusive service. Internet service cost $60 US extra and was terrible but hey - your on vacation and need a break from business. Our only real knock on this place is that the pool closed at 6:00 pm and we really would have enjoyed a swim after dinner. We would definitely go again. What you get for the price you pay here is great value! Beach front area and pool activities were great!

This is a gorgeous, open-air resort surrounded by lush vegetation, exotic birds, and even a feral cat colony. The rooms are large and clean and the staff is wonderful. An excellent experience all around.

Blau Natura Park is a decent resort with above average food, a number of bars (along the beach and on the grounds), a clean pool, incredible landscaping with a variety of wildlife (mostly birds), white sand beaches, clear turquoise water, palm trees and the hot Punta Cana sun. Drawbacks: Dated accommodation (my room was musty from mold), actual keys are required to enter rooms and safes (as opposed to cards/codes), beach/pool towel exchange service was inconsistent leaving guests frustrated at times. Tip: If you are a couple, upgrade your room at check-in for approx. $400 USD and you can get a beautiful vista of the beach and pool area (my friend did it - you won't regret it). Ask for room 2246. Final notes: Blau Natura Park should exclusively be sold as a couples/family resort. I was with friends - all adults. Although we enjoyed each other's company there wasn't an opportunity to meet new people and in the evenings we felt a little restless (there was family entertainment but no nightlife, i.e. dance clubs). I can't really comment on the resort activities because I didn't take part, but there really isn't much to see in the immediate area surrounding the resort except for some of the historical buildings in Santo Domingo, but it's a very long bus ride so you may just want to stay put.

Rooms were in severe need up maintainable and upgrading with out dated furniture, poor decor and lack of any finesse . The grounds and beach were clean and in good condition at all times. The staff were devised between extraordinary and other that did not care! The good out weighed the poor ones by far. The restaunts were never busy but could not gt reasonable reservations

An older building. Could do with upgraded furniture. The unit was on the 2nd floor, with air conditioner and ceiling fan. The setting was park-like, with flowing stream and quaint wooden bridge. The gardens were well manicured. The mosquitoes were wild. The staff were excellent. The chefs, wait staff, house keeper and bar men were friendly and helpful. The entertainment was OK. The game space was opened for a short while in the evening. Perhaps 10am to 10pm would give more options to the guests. The food was better than I expected. Perhaps better snacks. Overall an enjoyable get away.

Do not listen to all the negative comments! Stayed at the Blau February 23, 2014 to March 1, 2014 . Yes the rooms are a little dated but were always kept clean and in working order. We were 8 adults in total. The grounds and the beach were beautiful. The food at the buffet was very good and the a la carte restaurants were super. The staff at the resort were great to say the least. Only negative things were the front desk people who very SLOW . Also had to pay for your in room safe.????? These small problems were nothing compared to the excellent holiday we had!

My husband and our 2 good friends spent a week at this hotel.(I am sorry to say that since then our friend passed away from a shocking discovery of throat cancer). The food was for the most part very good.The staff quite friendly, sometimes could be a bit more cheerful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, so many wildlife just walking about, luscious green. It's almost as if you are in a jungle. Very nice. The beach is also very nice, you can snorkel right at the resort, lots of tropical fish around to the left of the beach. The only thing that bothered me the most was the locals selling their wares on the beach. There was times they would come right to your lounger wanting you to buy things from them, this was very aggravating. Do not book the 4 wheeler excursion from the locals on the beach, the equipment they have is old and worn. Almost everyone in our group broke down and had missed half of the courses including the swim while our machines were being worked on. I would recommend this resort to anyone, it is very beautiful and well worth the money.

Very nice smaller resort. Cosy compared to the mega resort down the beach with booming disco until late at night. Convenient to the beach. Good selection of fresh food with daily features in the buffet. Friendly staff. The grounds are the highlight. You feel like you are within the jungle, with resident flamingos, peacocks, and fish that eat bread crumbs my kids fed to them.
