I’d like to start by acknowledging the wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which really enhanced our stay. The variety of restaurants were all excellent. Our favorite was Buccan, which features the local cuisine, what an amazing dining experience! The resort itself was beautiful and very well maintained. The only downside was the need to wake up at 5:35 a.m. to secure a lounge chair. Also, there were no umbrellas on the beach for shade, which was very disappointing.

food was excellent and service was very good. grounds were well maintained. staff were very friendly and helpful. bedroom was ok but bathroom was far too small. Breakfast at the Italian Restaurant was special, good food and a great view.

Pros: 1. Food was amazing. Water and food didn’t make us sick. 2. Beautiful scenery/greenery 3. Perfect resort for honeymoon/wedding as it’s not too loud during evening/night unless your right beside the pavilion, which is where the party is 4. Three pools is great 5. Staff was so friendly Cons: 1. Beach is rough (was red flag half the week) 2. Hour long drive from the airport makes you nauseous if you suffer motion sickness 3. Beach is open to public so occasionally you’ll get the odd local trying to sell you stuff or private vendor/guide that isn’t organized by Sandals Overall, my Wife and I enjoyed the resort tremendously. We didn’t want to leave after our week was up as it was our elopement/honeymoon. The other 2 resorts on the island have their own pros and cons, but we would definitely return to this resort if we went back to Saint Lucia.

Pro's For the most part the staff, Tracy in Concierge, Bernadette in housekeeping, Janique in La Toc Restaurant and the spa (one of the best i've been in for massages) Juliana, Maryanna and Gloria Con's Old and needing renovation, Door to patio wouldn't lock and need fixing, pools had cracked or missing tiles, rooms are tired and need refreshing Bartenders don't ever seem happy or pleasant Food is average In summary the people make this hotel ok but not worth the price

The staff are truly caring and work to make everything right. The food was excellent, the grounds beautiful and an overall excellent vacation. The layout of the facility makes it feel like there are two resorts with the area on top of the cliff. The sunsets were breathtaking to share with a loved one.

We traveled to all sandals in St Lucia, we found La Toc was the best for us. The views and grounds out matched both other resorts. The Butler service is highly recommended, makes your stay more enjoyable and relaxing. We are planning another stay at La Toc.

Staff and locals are such nice , we went a Sandal’s Grande for a great day , the diving is amazing , Once again the staff is great , we got back to airport by Helicopter with a perfect woman pilot Nice vacation , Sylvain and Anick B.

My partner and I really enjoyed our trip in August 2019. The food was excellent, the grounds were stunning (albeit hilly- not for those who won't like to walk a bit), the beach was crystal clear and expansive, the service was great (though the constant up sells got old very fast) and our room was nicely updated with an ocean view even though we thought it was going to just be a garden view. Only complaint would be that the bathroom was small but with no fan/AC, but I suppose the resort was built when bathrooms were not as big as they are today. We would definitely stay here again. Our travel agent Lori was excellent and provided good insight along the way.

The resort was so much bigger than expected. The rooms were amazing, the ocean views (cliffside and by the ocean) were outstanding from every restaurant. The food was to die for and the staff were one of a kind. I would definitely stay here again.

The resort was well maintained. The staff were there to please the guests. The grounds were well maintained and organized. The food and entertainment was excellent. The only negative that I can think of was the beach. It was a little short. I would have liked a longer beach to allow for long walks.

We had wonderful trip to Sandals La Toc in St Lucia. We received a warm welcoming by all staff. Buffet food was great with a good variety and the restaurants were amazing. Rooms were very nice and clean. We would recommend this resort. In addition we booked with trip central, thank you Stephanie for being so accommodating with all our questions and great vacation.

We both enjoyed the resort, food was excellent, the staff were very accommodating and for the excursions we have done was exciting and the staff overall they look out for your interest and concerns. We both liked Sandals Resort and looking forward doing this again. Very clean, staff very polite and looked very happy, good food and very nice atmosphere. Good entertainment they should have variety of music not only reggae music, couple can not dance on reggae music they should have some slow dance music, Cha Cha Cha which more soothing and romantic rather than all the time very loud music. Very clean ocean water and clean beach. Staff is always ready to help you. There have quite a few cats wandering around the resort even in restaurants my suggestion is Resort managements should have sign all around mentioning please don't feed the cats. It's not good for some one with cat allergies. Apart from cat issue it's an excellent resort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel was very nice. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The resort was absolutely beautiful and very well kept. Pool was warm and beautiful waterfall that lights up at night. A great place to get away with your partner. Great view of the ocean. All stores and restaurants are not far. The restaurants are fantastic! My favorite one is Armando’s.

We loved our vacation at sandals La Toc. Staff was very friendly and the resort was beautiful. There are a lot of activities to keep you busy. My husband played golfed twice and loved the experience. The resort also provides transportation to the other sandals resorts in the area so we spend an afternoon at Sandals Grande.

The Hotel is great, people are very friendly , clean and great views. I don't think the level of Butler service is as good as it is at other Sandals resorts that we have visited and the Food was not as good as other Sandals. There are a lot of stairs at this resort so walking is difficult if any disabilities. The beach is Red Flagged most days for swimming.

This resort has a variety of rooms, suites and restaurants. The beach area is not huge, but suited our requirements. There are multiple pool options if you are looking for a quiet spot vs. The main pool action. Service was excellent- with lots of friendly staff insuring everything is good.

The resort was amazing and the grounds were well kept, and the staff very friendly and helpful. My only issue is that there was not a great selection of places to eat that offered food other than Fish to eat.

Service was amazing, everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel no request was a bother. We want to give extra credit to the following staff for adding to our experience. From the Pavilion Restaurant - Jason & Marquis. The Pavilion Bar - evening staff - Joanne, Kerry & Darnel. Also Joanne who works during the day. Golf Pro- Dave. Cricketeers Pub - John. Sheldon from the pool bar, Sameuala from Soy Restaurant and Melvin - Entertainment. I requested vegan meals in the evenings and the chefs came up with something amazing each time. A word of caution - evening meal sizes are quite small for a man. The Surf 'n'Turf at the Pavilion was overcooked. Can't say enough about the meal in La Toc! Out of this world We needed the coffee pot replaced in our room due to a loose handle and while we were talking to the front desk staff they were calling housekeeping - incredible service. This is one of the best vacations we have ever had!

The restaurants were very,very good, we loved the beach. If you want a more quiet, relaxed holiday there are 2 smaller pools and the beach, the main pool is where the action is if you want it. Also take advantage of visiting the other resorts on the island. It was our first experience at Sandals and we would definitely do it again.

While the beach was wonderful, the setting gorgeous and the room lovely, the service was less then stellar and food just okay. Really disappointed in the service, it was slow, often our drinks were forgotten or came after our meal was complete, room service took almost an hour each time for breakfast and we rarely saw our butlers, some days we never even saw them at all. Way overpriced for the level of service.

We stayed at Sandals Regency La Toc Spa Resort for our honeymoon and spent a little bit extra because it was our honeymoon and you don't honeymoon often...That being said Sandals is just another resort we didn't find it to be anything special the resort itself needs some upgrading as it was kind of worn looking. The staff worked hard but they weren't the happiest and not always very friendly although they would always say hi in passing. I have never been solicaited so much by resort staff in my life. List of things we were asked and asked and asked to come spend our hard earned dollars on - Staff walking around the pool during the day to ask us to come into the jewelry shop to buy jewelry - Staff walking about the pool asking if we had talked to anyone about excursions, handing out flyers - Flyers in our door when we would come back at the end of the day letting us know we could have dinner on the beach for only 199$ USD we are Canadian so with the exchange would have been 300$ roughly - Staff walking around the pool to see if we wanted to buy a Sandals T shirt to tie die for free but when I asked if I could just do my own T shirt I brought they said no - The spa girls we a little out of hand writing out receipts and booking 270$ couple massages before we had agreed to even get the massage - Someone was always selling something by the pool... always The grounds were always clean we liked that, we dared to go in the hottub and glad we did because it was nice and our bathing suits didn't smell the next day We were in room 243 the location was amazing very close to everything, the room was nice enough bed is super comfy! We made friends that were staying in 701 we found their room was kind of far as well as the elevator was broken for about 4 days so walking up the hill then up the stairs to the 7th floor may get a little annoying Food was amazing pretty well everywhere you go the Steaks we my personal favorite and Kimonos was crazy good and entertaining. Go on the Joe Knows tour and if you can try to get someone to take you to the St Lucian Street Party that happens every Friday night, it was by far the coolest thing we're done on vacation but you have to like to drink and dance! So neat to try the food from the different vendors! We were disappointed in the lack of night life/entertainment at this resort the stage is so tiny and very rare that anything entertaining was going on there! Piano Bar near the Pitons restaurant was super entertaining and open until 11. Overall a good vacation just not worth the 2500$ each to be there, could have saved about 1000$ and gone somewhere else.

With Sandals the food the room and personnel service and spas is always great you can go wrong , done 8 of them and it the same thing. You get for what you paid. La Toc on the 25 Dec 2016 for 7 days, Beach is missing a lot of sand due to the high waves and red flags nobody swing unless you are a very skill swimmer other wise is dangerous the under toe and the height of the waves. The only activity there was the pool and Sun. Most people and staff we talk said the sea is often rough the hotel staff told me they have to rebuild the beach with backhoe and sand truck when the sea calm down at time. Toke the complimentary shuttle to the Grande everyday at 11 Am and return on 4 PM where the beach is very nice and swimmable . The trip take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The wind come differently and for some reason it rain less then the Toc where the wind is directly on you. Christmas and New years party at the toc was great and the food and dessert is awesome but bring your ear plugs because the musique is so loud you can't stay close to the band you could feel on you and in the room 75' away the pressure of the base speaker. They think we the tourism our deaf or hard earring. If your budget is less and you are a pool person then the Toc is your choice. If you love the sea and beach ? you have two choice : pay more money and go to the Grand or Go to the Toc and use the complement shuttle to the Grand everyday. For the other sandals in St-Lucia Halcyon it is smaller and the sea is a bit better than the Toc but also rough sea but never like the Grand in Rodney Bay where the beach the views the sea is awesome.

We arrived and even though it rained a bit, we had a great time. Resort is clean and staff are extremely friendly. The ride to the resort wasn't as bad as some people say... it was nice to see a bit of the country, it's gorgeous! It's the best holiday my husband and I have EVER had, and we went to Sandals Ochi in March, but this one was even better. Thank you to the Sandals La Toc staff for making the week a paradise for us. Back to work now... P.s. lovely cats and birds everywhere. They are all friendly and the staff treat them humanely, so they are very tame and clean. Found a kitten I'm in love with, miss him already.

Dining was great. Beach was wonderful - nice and wavy! Staff were excellent, and the PADI Scuba Instructors were fantastic. I wish there were more options for lunch, but dinner options were great! We hope to come back one day!

we had a fantastic vacation at sandals La Toc Resort last week .the grounds great people wonderful staff second to none .Staff at all the eateries excellent Staff at the front desk and the Pub super .here are some of the names that I can remember chamain.Natachia wendy Domita Sharron .Chantal vie .Ozzy ESsey Jeremiah Alva great guy .Alton Terry Patrick Derrick Garfield Tracey George who can forget. him .Please forgive me if I have left out any one else.We met the GM Mr M James a great humble gentleman who has eyes like an eagle .Can see from a far and runs a tight ship. I gather that he is loved by all from speaking to the many staff.It was a pleasure meeting him.

The hotel itself is a little old and showing its age, broken slats in the wooden lounge chairs and in cupboard doors in the Pavillion Restaurant, however there were ongoing renovations and the upkeep is excellent. Very clean pools and beautiful grounds. The food overall was very good. The La Toc French restaurant was fantastic, try the French Onion soup and don't miss the steak. The Cricketers pub was also excellent. The manager there was very present and involved. The Piton restaurant was our least favourite the steak there wasn't great but the chicken wrap was very good. Pools, there are two quiet pools the Piton pool is just a little ways from the main area and was always quiet, the other pool by Armandos was also very quiet. Armandos restaurant was excellent as well. Don't miss it. Scuba Diving: if you are looking for a place to get certified this is it. The staff did things right here, very professional and went through all the steps. Initial dives were only 40 feet deep and were 2 divers to 1 dive master. The group dives were about 6 divers to 1 dive master. Only 60 and 40 foot dives but lots to see. Nothing big, no sharks, but lots of variety and tins of fish from tiny to about a foot long. Sea horses and octopi. Also lots of lobsters. Some really pretty coral on "superman's flight" and we did see a turtle in the turtle garden. As long as you aren't expecting perfection this place is worth a visit. Go into town. The people are friendly and not very pushy in the market. Wander down the street to the church it is beautiful.

La Toc was nice, very clean and as advertised the water was yellow or red flagged everyday. Dont bother with any scenic tours unless you never watch TV. Nothing new to see in St Lucia really. Its not worth the money to be driven to where vendors wait for tourists. The food was generally very good. Steak night was EXCELLENT. The Sushi restaurant Soy is much bettervthan most reviewers give it credit but the staff there are the least attentive and friendly. The Carribean restaurant was very good. I personally didnt enjoy the Italian rest. The street party was fun. One of the best parts and we shouldve taken more advantage of was the shuttles to The Grande Sandals. The water was very calm there and the beach nicer. I have nothing Negative to say other than I wasted my money on a tour I knew would be a waste but thats my fault. Not a real WOW factor place but good food, friendly people and a clean hotel. Cant complain

Resort was really nice and relaxing! We enjoyed having access to other Sandals resorts. Scuba diving was great so we're the restaurants. We had a room in the Sunset Bluffs area and it was amazing. Our butlers, Trish and Gene were AMAZING! ! So incredibly friendly and always looking after us. We had such a great time during our stay at the Sandals La Toc. We highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

My husband and I went to Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia for our honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained and has the perfect location. We got upgraded to a room in the Honeymoon Village which was very nice. The beach and the pool area are awesome. The only drawback is that people who have butlers get their chairs reserved for them and never show up. So many times we were at the pool or the beach and there were towel on chairs and no one ever showed up. They should implement a time limit on the reservations, if you don’t show up by a certain hour the towels should be removed so other people who actually want to use the chairs can use them. There are three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia and there is a shuttle bus that goes between all three. We went to Grand for dinner to the Italian restaurant and the food and service was amazing! La Toc has eight restaurants and the food is amazing in all of them. The staff is very friendly but for the most part the service in on the slow side. I was a little disappointed that the hotel did not have fresh coconuts available except on Friday when they had the street party. Also, the bars are not open 24h. The only bar that was open until 2am was the piano bar which was very small and got crowded very fast. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this resort for a honeymoon.

Emerald Grand Luxury was a basic room.Old carpet,old TV no robes provided.Would have upgraded to Piton room or higher if available.Great staff especially at Spa Justina,Gilberta and Georgie at poolside.

I was pleasantly surprised by this resort as we had never visited a Sandals property. We arrived in the evening so at first glance, we felt that the resort was a bit outdated as the photos show a much nicer/newer property (photoshop?) but when the sun came out, it was absolutely beautiful. The food was superb. The service was excellent. The staff weren't as friendly as in other resorts but I wonder if it's because in other resorts they expect to be tipped. Not the case here. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation with beautiful grounds and delicious food, this is the spot for you. I would definitely visit another Sandals resort on another island.

This was our second trip to this resort and we were there the week of October 23rd.The grounds are beautiful and very tropical. Compared to last year my biggest issue was the negative attitude that a number of staff exhibited. Also the lack of in room alcoholic beverages was disappointing, this is only provided to club or butler guests. The charge for wifi was also unimpressive given the cost of a Sandals vacation. We did not receive our returning member gifts..I then visited the Soon come back office on our last day and only then did they offer a couple of t-shirts. I did not appreciate the fact that more than half of the main pool chairs were reserved by the butlers very early in the morning. This created a competition amongst the other non-butler guests to wake up early (6:30am) and reserve their own chairs, typically the remaining chairs were all taken by 8:00am...not exactly a relaxing start to your day. This time around we brought 12 new Sandals guests with us, which I mentioned to the front desk and unfortunately it was never acknowledged. It would have been nice to have received a dinner reservation that could have accomodated all of us. We had a great time because our group of friends were terrific, the weather was really nice and the food was very good.

Grounds, room, and public spaces were all impecable. Food and beverage well above average. Service was amazing 95% of the time . From the time you are wisked into the private Sandals lounge at arrival until your departure, you are pampered !! If you suffer from motion sickness take gravel before the 1 - 1.5 hour ride to the resort from the hotel - the road is windy but the driver does check in often with everyone to ensure everyone is ok. I suffer terribly from motion sickness but I asked to sit up front right by the driver and was fine The variety and quality of food and wine was fabulous (my hubby is an amateur chef and was impressed) Be sure to make your reservations for Komono's and La Toc as soon as you get there - we did and got the days and times we wanted for both. Also, not to be missed is the Pitons restaurant. Also found the Tapas at the Pavillion to be great. Armando's for breaskfast is not worth the walk up the hill as the buffet has lots of variety and Chevron will cook you an egg any way you like it! Special thanks to Alice, Moise, Andrew, Renya(?) and John (to name just a few) for all the great serivce. Because the service is so great in general you really notice those employees who are not having a good day or who perhaps need some refresher training. If you take a minute to be polite and show genuine interest in the staff you quickly realize how warm and opened they are. We had lots of great conversations and learned lots about the culture in St Lucia Sandals allows you to go to the other resorts (convenient shuttle provided) and it is worth checking them out - confirmed to us that La Toc was the right place for us. We sampled food at the other resorts and it was equal to La Toc. Spa experience was great - both of my serivce providers were every bit as good as those I enjoy here in Toronto. The front desk could be a little more organized. Going off resort is safe and the scenery is worth the effort. We did not take an organized tour but rather hired a taxi and made our own agenda for the day (volcano mud bath, mineral water fall, bananna plantation, rum distillery, Casteries market, local lunch in Soufrier as arranged by our driver). We really enjoyed the day. La Toc is a big resort and worth exploring all the areas. There are actually 3 pools and we enjoyed the quieter one at the top of the hill near the newer rooms. The beach is great and water is warm - we never had trouble finding seats on the beach and spent lots of time playing in the waves. A couple of suggestions: 1) Sandals should consider banning the "saving" of pool charis with towels - most of the time no one is using the chair and those who would like to sit for a while have to really search for a spot - if you are more than 2 people it is almost impossible 2) In keeping with being environmental, Sandals may consider converting the golf carts and shuttles to electric motors - this would eliminate the heavy gas smell that sometimes wafted through the main lobby 3) It would be nice to have the option of staying in the "butler suite" but not have the service of the butler. I am not confortable with the butler idea but would love to have the option of choosing one of the super luxury rooms for my stay. Overall, we had a great stay and would definatley return We had never been to a Sandals before and were skeptical about spending the extra money but in the end we were pleased we did.

My wife and I went to La Toc for our Honeymoon and had an incredible time! If you are going and booking a butler suite ask for Christus & Sidney and you will have the time of your lives! The food is incredible and resort is beatiful. My only advice is that when we first arrived without a butler level room there are many exclusions (room service, dinner at some restaurants, and stocked bar in your room are not included)

We chose this resort precisely because it was a smaller resort. Service at the restaurants, bars and by the pool was never too long. However we had 2 bad experiences one at the pub and one at the beach grill with bad service. Waiting without so much as a glass of water, or menu while there were several staff on the floor and at the bar. We sat there for at least 10 mins before having to call someone over. (Only a handful of tables was occupied) The other was an extrememly rude bartender that left me standing waiting while she did prep and cleanup and did not so much as look at me while I was the only guest the counter. She was rather nasty and abrupt when she finally spoke to me. The rest of the service was great. The room was in a great location. If you want to nap in the afternoon, get something away from the pool area as you will hear music and games going on. Cleaners were good at the beginning of the week, but lacking later during our stay. Empty glasses left in the room and sometimes floors were not cleaned. (Sand and Hair in bathroom). Fridge was stocked but with water and juice only. Secrets resort in Punta Cana, Domincan Rep. gets 100% for providing alcoholic beverages and snacks. Front desk staff and people at the tour counter are quite good and clearly well trained. The tour we took on the Sandals boat for snorkelling was dirty. The head (bathroom) in the boat was not woman friendly to say the least. Odour and improper lighting and wet floor = safety issues. Not what we expected from a Sandals. Gym was ok and the food was excellent in the Italian restaurant. Next time we will use more of the facilities and water sports activities at the sister resorts. We did one dinner at the restaurant on the pier. Excellent food and service there. Not to mention beautiful location. After dark not much lighting so go as early as possible to get a view. Beach was short but well kept. Only a few vendors who will leave you alone if you don't want anything. Would give this resort a rave review if only we didn't have those 2 bad experiences - not what the Sandals image advertises.

We stayed in a butler suite up on the bluff and it was amazing! Beautiful sunsets and butler service was amazing! Rooms clean, food great, beach beautiful! Butler is the only way to go! We stayed a second week at Sandals Grande also great, better swimmable beach, but with no butler service it wasn't as nice as staying at La, Toc. No bottled beer if you don't stay butler, which for the price you pay is a JOKE

Amazing resort and people! Beautiful mountains and spectacular views on the coast! Food was great could not ask for better, best food thus far in my travels! The butler service from Genevieve & Barkus on the Sunset Bluff was excellent and they over and above for our stay, huge thank you to them ; )) The beach is beautiful and loved relaxing on the beach while having a pina coloda. The room was amazing with a breath taking view of the sunset over looking the ocean. Nightly entertainment was great including a casino night for charity which we really enjoyed and donated to the Sandals Education fund for building schools! The resort is extremely well groomed and maintained and the staff are very friendly! I would return to this resort in a heart beat and would love to stay even longer! From the second you land you are treated like royalty, what an amazing feeling! La Toc is a must see to all travellers! This is not a 5 star, La Toc is. 10 stars!!!

Having had a great experience at Sandals Antigua, we were somewhat disappointed with St. Lucia. The crowd was very different, much louder, more obvious drinking and smoking around the pool. Our room was not clean when we arrived and had to call to inform them that it was not acceptable. The food was very good; we were a party of 4 and most of the tables were set for 2 so we often had to wait longer than we should have; they would not put tables together. The guys played golf and found out towards the end of the game that the caddies do not get paid and rely on tips; $30 US each player which was not expected.

The Resort was like Paradise. The food was excellent and it was a very clean place. We went for our honeymoon and had our room upgraded. It cost more money than what we wanted to spend but it was worth every penny!

This was my first Sandals resort, and it was very nice. The all inclusive scuba diving is probably the part I liked best, but other than that, I'm not sure if it's worth being almost twice the price as other very nice resorts I've been to. They claim to serve 'top shelf' liquor, but it sells out quickly.
