This resort is clean and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are all very good. If you have a special occasion to celebrate be sure to tell them! They make those moments even more enjoyable.

The hotel was great. Staff and food were excellent. Beware - most rooms are outdated and many guests complained that they smell like mold. Luckily we upgraded when we arrived and got a nice new modern room. I believe you would need to get a junior king suite or higher to stay on the modern side. I would recommend calling and booking directly with the hotel to confirm that you are getting a modern new room. Otherwise you’ll be disappointed.

This was not my first time travelling to Jamaica and my experience during this trip was not up to par with my previous experiences, which were in fact are smaller scale resorts. First of all, our room was not available at time of check in, we were only offered 100 USD credit amongst the 3 members in our room, and the credit was only accessible for resort expenses (gift shop or spa etc). The best part of the resort is that the pool is large and beautiful, however it felt like the pool bar was understaffed and the staff were overworked. The resort does not allow for personal music to played at any point, however you cant hear music much further away from the pool. Food was generic, I was hoping to have more access to Jamaican food, and the jerk hut is closed by 6 pm, so the options for late night food options were very limited. There is only one sports bar, where the food service was very slow. Sometimes had to wait over an hour for food.

My husband and I kust returned from a weeks vacation at the Ziva. This has been our favourite vacation to date. I can't say enough good things about the staff and by staff I mean EVERYONE. We were looking for a relaxing vacation with good food, beautiful grounds and entertaining shows in the evening. The Hotel Ziva exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. We loved the all if the restaurants, from the delicious food to the atmosphere. I could go on and on about our stay. But I will wrap it up by saying, we have decided to return next November and will be staying 10 days because 7 just wasn't long enough.

We went to this resort on the recomendation of our travel agent, Saskia. This was beyond anything we were expecting. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were incredible, the service was 10 stars and the food was exceptional. The people there were out of this world. Anything, everything you wanted 24/7 they were there for you tips or no tips. Tips of course were preferred, but either way they were there to make your stay a most memorable one, and that it was.

We booked this trip about 2 weeks before the departure date and there were not too many options available. Ash recommended us this resort, helped us with the booking immediately, and advised us on the necessary steps (including Covid) before departure. I was impressed with the services provided and now, after returning from Jamaica, I liked his recommendation. The resort was great and we enjoyed our vacation.

This is a gorgeous resort with beautiful grounds, lovely pools, a beach protected by a rock barrier, and wonderful food. It is truly a special all-inclusive experience. Dietary needs are accommodated, the staff are all highly professional and kind, and the entertainment is also great.

Loved all of the services. Clean resort. Fun staff. Chillaxed uninterrupted. We’ve visited other resorts in Jamaica, and this is our favorite. If you’re undecided, book this one. You won’t be disappointed! Close to airport. 15 minute drive versus others that are up to 2 hours drive to and from airport.

It was our second time there and we loved it even more. The food, the service, the gym was all top notch and the best is the cleanliness. The kids loved the night kids shows and can't wait to go back again.

The Hyatt Ziva is a wonderful property - stunningly beautiful grounds, two large pools, a protected beach area which is great for children, great food and excellent customer service. The food in particular is exceptional for an all-inclusive. The food choices at the Buffet ("Choicez") are excellent and staff are always willing to accommodate any dietary preferences. This is a very well-run resort. We have returned to this property five times over the past five years, which should indicate what we think of this resort. It is beautiful, and well worth the cost to stay there.

This was our 3rd vacation with Hyatt Ziva. The experience did not disappoint us. The resort and its staff have brought us back 3 times in the past 6 years, and we are returning next year. There was nothing ....absolutely nothing to critique. From the time we entered the resort to the time we left we witnessed customer service at its best. In conversation with many staff, they are very happy working at Ziva. It’s nice to hear the management team are supportive and acknowledge their stay. This is what retention is all about. The hotel was great. We were greeted upon arrival with drinks and great service. Unfortunately a bit of a mix up with our room booking so we had two beds instead of one king bed. The next morning it was all sorted and we were moved to a new room. Food was wonderful. Amenities were updated and well kept. It was a luxury experience and would definitely go back.

The hotel is beautiful the grounds are luxurious beautiful view of the sea everything was beautiful breathtaking.The second day I did a tour off the hotel I worked out at the state of the art gym magnificent I did to spinning class the trainer was wonderful the next day I also did a power walk early in the morning and after I did my work out on my own really terrific equipments. This is the first vacation I did not want to come home I wish I’d stayed longer it was short and sweet I hope in the future I’ll stay much much longer at this hotel

The staff is fantastic and very accommadating, grounds are beautiful and there are lots of options for food which is amazing because you can have a different meal every night. They even put patties for us to go after dinner which we got from the Jamaican restaurant at zilara.

The hotel is amazing. It’s very clean the rooms are nice with shower and bathtub. They promptly clean your room daily and folllow threw on any request. All the employees are happy and kind. This hotel has everything they give a new meaning to all inclusive. They have shows and lots of acitives. They have a kids club. The food is great and you don’t have to make reservations for a la carte resto. They have great wines and lots of choices for alcoholic or non drinks. I loved it here I will be returning for sure!! Jamaica ya mon!!!

Amazing resort! I have no negative feedback. We had great weather, we had the best vacation ever! Grounds were immaculate. Rooms were spacious and everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Food was amazing! My 11 year old loved the buffet, Bitez and poolside food - he liked that eating didn't cut into his pool time! When not doing an excursion off the resort, we were at the pool having drinks, participating in trivia or dance classes. Evening entertainment was super as well. As wonderful as the resort is, the best thing about the Hyatt Ziva is the staff. Everyone from housekeeping, room service that delivered my morning coffee (and a fist bump!), the chef that made my morning omelettes, and the bartenders that gave me a different drink every time I said, "Surprise me!" They are amazing and our trip wouldn't have been the same without them! Special shout out to the entertainment crew who had us laughing all week - Antoneil, Omar, Rick, Crystal...so great! Can't wait to return :)

This was our second visit to Hyatt Ziva in 3 years. We are over the moon pleased with Hyatt Ziva, it’s services, staff, and above all, exemplary customer service! My husband and I would like to recognize a few staff members who consistently demonstrated what customer service is all about! We spent many meals served by a humble young man, in Choicez, by the name of Jovelle. To the Grindz coffee shop staff member Taneisha, who always remembered what I took in my coffee. She consistently thanked us for choosing their resort. We met some amazing guests and used every chance we had to promote this resort, assuring them we are coming back for a third visit in 2020. From the groundskeepers to housekeepers, they were genuinely happy to serve. We could all take away a lesson from a community in despair and challenging times. They left their struggles at home, and showed up each and every day with pride and a goal to make it the very best experience for us! Thank you to all staff at Hyatt Ziva❤️

This was a fantastic property in my opinion. We were in a junior suite. Rooms recently renovated and very nice. Beautiful bathrooms. Staff were all amazing! Was rare to find someone serving without a great big smile. The entertainment crew were the best I've ever encountered. We were a group of 20 and they spent quite a bit of time hanging out. Food was good, lots of selection. Only downfall here was inability to make reservations. We were a large group and wanted to eat together. Wedding planning at this hotel is exceptional. I didn't worry about a thing. The beach area is very small. I'm a beach fan so I was a big disappointed when the flags were up a few days (no swimming allowed due to waves), but better safe than sorry. Our travel agent, kim Hartley, was wonderful to work with

I went for a family wedding and was not disappointed in the resort choice. The bride gushed about the service of the wedding coordinator and that every detail was looked after before she could even think about it. The food and snacks were well curated, especially at the dessert spot, Bitez, where there were unlimited tasty treats. The French restaurant, Petit Paris, was excellent and I highly recommend the lamb! All of the staff were exceptional. Many Thanks to Chantelle, Toni-Anne, Kelly Anne, Omar, Antoiniel, Travis, Rick, Veleshia and many more who made our stay memorable.

The grounds and common areas were very clean and well kept. The service was amazing, no mater if you were at the beach or sitting pool side you did not have to wait long for a drink or even a snack to be brought right to you. There were so many restaurants we couldn't even visit them all in 7 days. Everywhere we did eat though was so fresh and delicious. The rooms were very basic, but it didn't matter because there was so much to do around the resort you didn't spend much time in your room. All of the employees were super friendly and always there to help if you needed something. We did take a day trip with a cab through the Hotel and it was one of the funnest experiences, Leighton was our driver and he was extremely professional and showed us the sights along the way to our destination. I also met more then a few people who were visiting the Hyatt Rose Hall for their 2nd and third time, so that says a lot.

We travelled to the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall for a 4 night family holiday. Perfect destination - awesome direct west jet flight, resort nice and close to the airport (15 mins), very clean and lovely resort. Rooms were really nice - beautiful views, very quiet, and very clean. Pools were perfect, staff amazingly friendly and kind. The food - lots of options and very tasty!

From check in to check out ,Totally Heaven ; I knew that this was my pick but with the help from Alexandra Biddle from trip central i made the right choice, This place was amazing , we were in room 2228 overlooking the pool with a partial ocean view. it was quite clean and very comfortable,well stocked daily with beer.3 types of pop 2 kids of juice and water. the grounds were well cared for and clean. their are plenty of loungers and cabanas around the pool and beach,A lot of shady areas around both,The service was great. you did not even have to move from your loungers to have a drink ore to order a snack,the servers were great and totally friendly, We are pool people and we were pampered all week,their are plenty of ala carte restaurants to choose from There all good but our favorites were the Italian and the Urban Heat located next door at the sister property.you can have the use of both property s , the drinks were all awesome and every meal and snake that we had were exellent,They have 24 hr room service. that we did nt use but people that i talked to said that they where fast and very good selection , We have been traveling two and three times a year to the islands for the past 16 years or so and i can honestly say that the staff at this resort are the most friendliest ,Everyone from staff to management will take time out to answer any questions or just talk to you , We just got back and i booked with Alexandra Biddle to return to the Hyatt again January 24th with my Daughter Tanya and her fiancee Albert Hunter this time so that my Daughter can see how great this place is and hopefully this will be her choice for her upcoming destination wedding come August / September of 2018 , Once again Alexandra for all you help and hard work checking things out for me on these three vacations that i just booked threw you , thank you Gerald Huggins

My family and I had an amazing time at the Hyatt. The staff were all so friendly and we loved the food (especially the jerk chicken). They had tons of entertainment each day too so that kept you busy. They also let you use the kayaks and paddle boards for free which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend!

It was great however I needed more time to see the entire facility! The people were amazing hosts. I enjoyed room service very much! I was looking for seafood night but no avail. Overall it was a good!

The Hyatt Ziva is a wonderful resort. Incredibly helpful staff, great restaurants and first class facilities. Great pool. Beach is just okay and a bit rocky but everything else is great. It is worth the upgrade to the Club Lounge. Staff there are so helpful and kind. Housekeeping is professional and great. The hotel itself seems magnificent from the outside however once inside, you quickly realize that the inside needs to be updated. The seating area has seen better days; the foam can be seen coming out from the sofas. The first room assigned to us was nothing like what we asked for; it was on the ground floor, facing the pool, we had asked for a room higher up and away from the pool, the room itself was old and smelled of mould although we asked to be placed in a room that would offer a reprieve to an asthmatic. The paint on the wall was dirty and spotted as if they applied the primer and forgot to paint the walls. We asked for a different room and were moved to a room placed in the old buildings again however this time we were higher up still facing the pool, the room was old, the painting in need of a refresh. Room order was an other frustrating fact: each time we ordered, we were betting on what item would be missing And every single time, a food item would be missing. The cleaning staff was the greatest, the room was spotless. The food was good, the jerk shack was incredible. The beach area needs to be enlarged and they need to install more shades on the beach. Over all, it is supposed to be a five star hotel and if I were to give a five star, it would be for the staff. The hotel bets on the fact that it was a Ritz before being purchased by the Hyatt conglomerate. The pricing needs to be adjusted to the overall service provided before I recommend this hotel; in other words, lower the price until the hotel has been renovated in its entirety.

My wife and I truly enjoyed out stay! Though we wished to stay and join another couple friends who were staying on the Adults Only side of this resort, there was no issue moving between the two sides of the resort. The upgrade to CLUB level was worth every penny! The service was outstanding and we felt pampered. They set up our bed with a wonderful Birthday display using flowers and champagne as it was my birthday on the Tues. The staff was very helpful and fun to deal with!!! The food was fantastic especially the Brazilian and the French. I couldn't get enough of the Jerk Chicken shack!!

We recently stayed for two weeks at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall and as any hotel we found great and not so great things with this hotel. Most positive that negative things, for sure!...and the small gestures described below made all the difference to us... Among the positive: - Very friendly staff - Great daycare service for the kids - Beautiful setting - Nice beach - Nice shows There were also many details that we have that we found refreshing. Just small things like: - Not having to worry about loosing the towels' ticket they generally give you at many other resorts they arrival day or they would charge you extra - The fact that there were not many tour agents fighting to sell you their tour, but one point of contact and no lineups - the fact that you don't need advanced reservation to go to the restaurants and you can pick and choose on the spot - The welcome lounged at the airport - The direct shuttle services to the hotel, rather than one big bus that would have you deliver 50 people to 10 different hotels before reaching your destination - But the one gesture that we welcomed the most was the fact that we did not have to deal with hotel staff harassing us to become a Hyatt member or upgrade our status in exchange for a breakfast meeting and the promise of arranging our shuttle to the airport for departure, as it happened to us in many other Caribbean destinations with other hotel brands. Among the negative: - Not enough restaurant options if you travel with kids and stay longer than a week - The bathrooms for general use, although they looked nice, they often were out of service and they smelled bad on a regular basis - Rooms facing toward the main food-court and entertainment area where often subject to very high noice levels and music volume, so if you are travelling with young kids and/or hope to go to bed before 10PM this could be a real challenge.

Beautiful resort with several pools and private beaches. Staff are constantly walking around to see if you need a drink or anything else. Literally every single staff was friendly and would always great you when passing by. Only issue I had was housekeeping coming to my room at 5ish daily. I would prefer they do it during 1-4pm at least.

To sum it up, the place is absolutely beautiful and very close to the beach, but it is really the staff that make things awesome. Loved this place, and definitely hope to return.

My family and I had a fantastic time at the Hyatt Ziva in Jamaica. The service was great, and the staff went over and above to make our stay extra special. At the airport, we were able to wait at the Hyatt exclusive lounge while we waited for our pick up bus, and were given drinks and snacks. Check in was very quick. The first day, my parents were given a room on the second floor beside the elevators, which was quite loud. The next day, they asked for a room change and were moved to a different room right away. We were in the main building, which is an older building, but we were still quite happy with the clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. The property and grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Overall, we loved the food, and there were so many restaurants with such a wide variety of food selection as well as 24 hour room service. We mostly went to Choices, Barefoot Jerk, Di Roza, and Fuzion, and really enjoyed all of the food. We are vegetarian and found lots of options, plus the restaurants are always happy to make something special if requested. The beach was beautiful, and staff were constantly making sure that it was clean. They don't have long beach that you can walk for miles, but we were fine with the smaller beach are never ending ocean. We also loved the pool and the swim up bar. We loved the Z Crew who were constantly running fun activities such as dance and beach volleyball. Would love to shout out Omar! They had different entertainment in the evenings which we didn't really stay for, as we really enjoyed the more intimate shows at the piano lounge. Special mention to a fantastic pianist Jermaine, who we could not stop listening to. One night, Jermaine was joined by Della and Eddy and we loved listening to them. It would have been nice for the resort to make the guests aware of the shows at the piano bar, as we were lucky to have just come across it. However we made sure to go every night as they were definitely our favourite shows at the resort. Overall would like to shout out Chantell and Lenois from Grindz coffee, Chantell from the beach, Chantell from Fuzion, Anthony and Andre from the egg station, Dyawne from Di Roza, Erroll from the piano bar, Hayne from Union Jackz, Omar from the Z Crew, Jermaine the pianist, and Nicholas and Ruel from front desk. Suggestions for improvement: - Let people know when specific restaurants are closed, as we received a time table at the beginning of the trip, however, it was not accurate. - Announce the piano bar shows and have them run a little longer or start later as they normally started at dinner time and ended early. - Nightlife could be better, and it may help if the resort can plan and announce different things that are going on at Union Jacks or Potions. This would attract more people to attend. To sum it up, the place is absolutely beautiful and very close to the beach, but it is really the staff that make things awesome. We have been to other resorts in Jamaica, Cuba and Dominican Republic, but in terms of service, this has been the best. Loved this place, and definitely hope to return.

We had an awesome family vacation at the Hyatt Ziva. We loved the beautiful property, well manicured grounds and great view of the ocean. We actually enjoyed the small and shallow beach area. Snorkelling was great. Our rooms were in the main building which has a very classic and traditional feel. The rooms are dated looking compared to the new buildings, however, they were spacious, clean and comfortable and it was great being close to everything. We had a great view of the ocean and it was priceless. Food was generally very good and there was a lot of variety. We are vegetarian and always had a lot of options, plus the restaurant staff were happy to make us something special. Loved the 24 hour coffee shop Grindz, Di Roza and Fuzion restaurant and piano bar. Pizza at the Italian restaurant is worth a special mention. It was a shame that Di Roza was closed on two occasions without prior notice. The buffet is not too large and didn't have as much variety as we have seen at other resorts but they had a fair amount of vegetarian options and amazing fresh fruits, vegetables and juices. Good quality drinks at all the bars and coffee shop. Our kids loved the 24 hour room service. For evening entertainment, we preferred the small intimate performances at the piano bar. We accidently came across the piano bar shows as it wasn't mentioned anywhere. More than anything else the staff and service made the trip memorable. Shout out to all three Chantells - at Grindz, Fuzion and the beach. Dyawane at Di Roza, Nicholas and Ruel at reception, Anthony and Andre at Chosiez, Brittania at Ziva club and Jermaine the piano player. And all the others that made our trip special. Last but not the least, it was great not having wrist bands.

The staff employed at this resort are genuine and sincere in the delivery of customer service. Yes the odd exception but that is easy to navigate around. Food is very good, access to amenities is perfect and the size of the resort feels safe, clean, and situated with a range of opportunities. At one point my wife was attending a yoga session on the beach front dock, my son was swimming with a friend, and my daughter was reading a book beside me on a pool lounging chair. I looked around and thought everything is alright "man" with this trip!

Beautiful resort, delicious food and extra friendly staff. We had an amazing week and did not wanna leave. Would definitely go back.It was my aunt"s birthday and they brought her a birthday cake. Very thoughtful.

Food and service excellent. Beautiful resort. Beach is not nice but resort makes up for it. Very comfortable beds. French restaurant is amazing. Urban and Calipzo restaurant also very good. Pizza at Italian restaurant very good.

Grounds were great especially Rose Hall area. Room itself was okay but had a nice large bathroom. Enjoyed the food and the variety of restaurants. The majority of the staff were friendly and there were a few not so nice. Disappointed with the beach area.

Great place and service. Was designed for a family atmosphere less of a party location. Food was great but the hours of the restaurants were no good. Room cleaning was not set up well had people trying to clean rooms at 10pm

Loved the friendly, accommodating staff. Great food, beautiful architecture. What more could you want. I cannot wait until the next time I return. We were there for a four day stay and it was perfect. Good gym facilitites too.

We stayed at the Hyat Ziva from August 12th to 19th. This is a good, but not great resort. It has recently re-opened under new ownership. The rooms are a bit dated, but well-kept. The quality of the food was O.K., although not up to the calibre of a number of other resorts we have visited in Jamaica. One day, there were no beach towels available for a short period time. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a good holiday.

Complete 5 star resort. From service to most friendly staff, amazingly delicious food, variety of premium and tropical drinks, great ameneties, picture perfect beach. Kids friendly resort. Would definitely return.

We got upgraded to the adults only, Hyatt Zilara. Pool was great, food amazing and we didn't have to make any reservations for dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. Beach was limited with fence on each side. Very clean resort and safe. They had a water issue for 24 hrs. and didn't have a back up system so that was somewhat inconvenient. It was our before last day. Loved it and would go back.

This resort definitely had a bad start, but from first hand experience (Jan 23-31) can tell you that many of the issues people complained about in the first few weeks seemed to have been addressed. The grounds are lovely, staff amazing, best food I've ever had in a resort, pools are great. One more for pool activities and one for more relaxing which was a nice separation. We stayed in the new building and was not disappointed in the least. It was beautiful, moden and high quality. The beach was defintely not the best beach I've ever seen, however, I am learning this is less of a Hyatt issue and more a Montego Bay problem. Sounds like a lot of the hotels have variations of man made beaches. Wrong side of the island! Althought Montego Bay was extremly close to the Airport, it was very far away from all excursion and off resort activities. At least 2 hours one way for many things.
