Favourite part of the stay was the rooms, they are all situated so there is nobody directly above or below you. Keeps privacy high and the noise low. It's very spread out that way, so expect a lot of walking or taking the shuttle carts to where you want to go. Hautulco is very hot, several degrees hotter than Cancun or Puerto Vallarta for example. Beaches were nice, but sand is very course, so you will sink into your ankles when you step into the water. Not much for waves, it was pretty calm. Pools are nice, and had plenty of available chairs, mind you it wasn't high season when we went. I'd say the resort is about 90% local Mexicans, 8% Canadians, and 2% other nationalities. Food was decent, nothing spectacular, although the roast beef served for dinner in the buffet was really good. You won't starve! Drinks were good, and service was very good, and friendly. Try and tip if you can, since I noticed the locals weren't much for tipping, so I tried to make up the difference a little. Back to the rooms, I appreciated that the bathroom and shower area had an actual door, unlike some where it was wide open to the rest of the room. I didn't really get around to seeing the entertainment or shows, as the app didn't really describe very well what they were. The sheer heat kept me from trying tennis or other physical activities. I think one of the days it got to 36c and that was without adding the humidity factor. Takes some getting used to! Taxi to town is cheap, only 100 pesos, but be careful, they will drop you off if you don't ask otherwise at some of their "friends" tourist trap shop. Get used to saying "no thanks". Very expensive shops, I'd just buy at the boutique in the hotel to be honest, it's similarly priced without the extra step into town. All in all, a good stay.

This is our 14th time at Las Brisas, stayed for 2 weeks and of course, had a wonderful time. Weather is always great, played lots of tennis - A big thank you to Paco (Tennis Pro) for his superb teaching and instruction. Really improved my game. Will be back for sure!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the resort, and overall we were happy with our experience. Initially, we encountered a few issues, but the staff worked diligently to resolve them promptly, allowing us to settle in and enjoy our vacation. The resort offered a wonderful stay, and we appreciated the flexibility to book dinners at various restaurants anytime we asked. Our favorites were the Steakhouse, where we enjoyed the rib eye steak (and avocado appies were a delightful surprise), and the Mediterranean seafood restaurant, where the limoncello - tiramisu dessert was a highlight. We stayed at the resort for 10 days, and the food in the main buffet was just okay. We wished they'd offer more fresh fish and chicken options on the grill. Maybe that's something to consider for future menus! One highlight was the grilled octopus—it was cooked to perfection and absolutely yummy! At Las Brisas, the ocean and beaches were spectacular and we didn’t go in the pool at all. The beaches were clean and shallow and the water was calm most of the time, making it perfect for swimming.  We weren't pool people, but the ocean was perfect, and we loved that we never had trouble finding a spot to relax. Kudos to the beach staff for their great service—bottled water was served early mornings, making it easy to stay refreshed, and drinks were served starting at 11:00 am daily. We loved the grounds; the vegetation is beautiful! The resort is huge, and there is plenty of  walking involved if you are looking to stay active. However, they offer transportation via small carts, which was a lifesaver. We loved strolling to the buffet for breakfast and then heading straight to the beach. By the afternoon, however, we'd usually hop on one of those carts to escape the heat—perfect for lazy days. Also, our room had the best views straight to the ocean, we couldn't ask for more! The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too high for our taste. The staff were able to swap them out and offered us a few options. Like anywhere it depends on your expectations. We chose this resort because of its wonderful beaches. Our suggestion for improvement would be the bar area where guests gathered after dinner, was small, and it was challenging to find a sofa or chair to relax and socialize with fellow travelers. More seating in this area would be great. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay comfortable and memorable. We would recommend the resort to friends and family!

Definitely not a luxury resort but still good quality. Best suited to active people without mobility issues as there is a lot of walking, stairs and hills unless you want to be taking a shuttle all the time (even though the shuttles are great). Overall the food was good but often the pre-prepared items at the buffet were lukewarm or cold and not always fresh which was so disappointing. We quicky learned to stick to the omlet station for your morning eggs and to go to the lunch buffet as soon as it opened so that food was still warm. Our only dinner at the buffet was cold so we didn’t go again but the restaurants were much better. Our room in the Mar section was huge and comfortable with great balcony views. The beaches are great for swimming. We refused to join the lounge chair game of reserving early but still managed to get a spot somewhere even though it could be a challenge. Lovely staff and extremely friendly Canadian and Mexican vacationers were a highlight of our trip.

This is a safe, clean top notch resort with excellent beaches, excellent free on site transport to any area on the property, excellent food choices with multiple restaurants, a good gym, close to an awesome town.

We (4 Canadian women in our 60's) were fortunate to spend 10 days at the Las Brisas resort and enjoyed every moment. The staff were kind, friendly & helpful, the grounds and beaches were pristine, the food was delicious. So many activities available. Tennis and pickleball courts, snorkeling at the beach, beautiful pool areas, botanical gardens and walking paths. The resort property covers a large area. Those who don't enjoy walking can call for a shuttle to get around.

Exceptionally clean resort and beautifully maintained grounds. This resort is really spread out with many steep stairs throughout so would be difficult to get around if you have mobility issues. Staff are friendly and overall was a pleasant experience

We love Las Brisas for the following reasons: Wonderful staff, a variety of a la carte choices and food choices at the buffets, spacious, clean rooms with gorgeous views of the ocean ( we were in the Mar section both times and had a huge balcony, Bering and Mediteraneo buildings). Our room both times was quiet, never noisy and always cleaned, mini fridge stocked. The staff never missed a day and if we requested more coffee or water, they provided it. We could not ask for a better room! We never got the maid's name or even saw her, nor did we see the mini fridge person, but they did a fantastic job EVERY day! We always had fantastic service from front desk staff and the concierge when booking out a la carte. Check in was quick, friendly and easy! The ocean is SWIMMABLE, no undercurrent or huge waves AND you can see the bottom of the ocean clearly and NO sargassum/seaweed! There is one bay to swim and snorkel, one bay to swim and another activities and swimmable bay. We would spend our days in and out of the ocean. You can see many fish while snorkelling. There are plenty of loungers for everyone and shade! The grounds are beautifully manicured and cared for. There are 5 a la carte restaurants and a buffet. So many choices! We never went to any shows as we are up early and in bed early!! Pickle ball and tennis are extremely popular here! There are lots of places to walk and get your exercise. People say there is too much walking and hills and stairs, but the shuttles run constantly. You just call from your room and they are there in a minute or two. If you are out and about, you can easily jump on one. We prefer the exercise so rarely took a shuttle. They offer a bird watching tour every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It is approximately a 2 hour tour and definitely worth checking out! You meet in the lobby just before 7 AM. They do have binoculars you can borrow. We have so many staff that made our vacation special, it would be a long list, but the ones that were consistent EVERY single time we saw them, were the egg station beautiful ladies at the Mexican buffet, Eva and, I didn't get the other name...Arora, Agave? but they almost always worked together. They had the most wonderful smiles for us, and made our day! As well as they made scrumptious omelettes! The other very lovely lady was at the Brisas Beach Club Lounge, Novelle and she was the best. The Brisas Beach Club Lounge is open from 7-11AM for breakfast and 5-7PM for appetizers and drinks. It was such a nice way to meet people and the appetizers were scrumptious! Fermin at the Mexican bar is always friendly and makes the best margaritas! We booked Brisas Beach Club for a few reasons, that mean a lot to us, but it is your personal preference. We want a balcony, we want an a la carte every night, we like a room with a view and we loved the Brisas Beach Club Lounge! Here are some of the staff, that I asked for their names and who made having dinner even MORE enjoyable. El Pescador staff, Adrienne, Leonardo Mediterranean staff, Audifred Martinez, Gabriel, Alberto (who we met two years ago) We consistently had exceptional service at the Mediterranean. Main Buffet, Roberto - we only went once for lunch at the main buffet. Solarium staff, Omar and Pablo, Shayla, Marco (he took lots of photos for us, so nice!) La Pergola for lunch is nice and it opens at noon, where the main buffet opens at 1PM. We never went to the Mexican or Kasba this time. We never had any issues finding things to eat. There were lots of choices! *The only negative comment I can make about the a la cartes is that quite often the vegetables were not very hot, but the meat or fish would be*. Our first morning, we were looking for a lounger on the beach, and wanted beach towels, but were too early to get any. One of the staff overheard us, and went and brought us two towels! His name was Christian. Very thoughtful. ALL the beach waiters were awesome! They came around regularly. We didn't always order, but they still asked. We were impressed! We have to say that this is probably our favourite resort. Many guests have been here between 1-24 times, and are coming for 3 and 4 weeks now! That says a lot. We are definitely going to book the minute the dates and times come up and hope that the prices stay reasonable! With our most sincere appreciation to all the staff that made our trip absolutely perfect. I apologize for not getting every name. I need to bring a notepad and pen with me to each place! Looking forward to seeing you next year!

First time visitors to this resort and it did not disappoint. We loved the beautiful greenery and as non-swimmers has one of the few beaches where you can swim without feeling like you’re being sucked out to sea! Food was great and the weather even better! Will definitely return!

The environment of the resort is amazing. The service of the staff is excellent and efficient. The food in the buffet and therestaurants is good but not excellent. The room is spacious and clean, but the condition and the decor is quite outdated.

We've been the Las Brisas Huatulco about a dozen times. It checks all the boxes. Set on a beautiful piece of land, with lots of tennis/pickleball, great swimming beaches, good food, comfortable rooms with great service and staff. We get lots of exercise walking around the resort but would caution anyone with mobility issues, ... this is not the place for you.

My husband and I just spent 10 days at Las Brisas in Huatulco, and we couldn’t be happier with our stay! The beaches are absolutely stunning—perfect for swimming and snorkeling for hours in clear, calm waters surrounded by beautiful fish. At the beach, Angel and Nadia were truly outstanding and made our experience even more special. The buffet offers a wide variety of options, so there’s something for everyone, and the à la carte restaurants serve delicious meals that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Resort is a very big and beautiful place. Not recommended for people with mobility issues. All the staff were very pleasant. Grounds were wonderful to explore. Lots of greenery and wild life. We really enjoyed our vacation.

Our very first trip was 9 years ago to Las Brisas, Huatulco. All we've talked about was going back and finally we did just that and took 3 others with us. Our Superior Room was identical to what it was 9 years ago - very comfortable - amazing bed and pillows! We enjoyed the buffet's superb offerings daily. The A La Carte's that we went to were also fabulous: Solarium Steakhouse was great, the service was the highlight thanks to Wahn and Antonio! The beaches at Las Brisa's are beautiful - the sand is darker and more granular than the Mayan Riviera side. Swimming was wonderful - you can walk over to the coral reef and see fish and urchins too! We enjoy walking so getting around the resort was not difficult for us, but keep in mind it is a large resort with a lot of hills!! We simply love the simplicity of Las Brisas Huatulco. It's natural, authentic, cultural, gorgeous, and the customer service is top notch!

Resort is about 40 years old however 50 acres of land there is stunning. The resort has three beaches with calm ocean. It's good for swim and if you like snorkeling there are so many different types of fish to see. Very clean facilities and people who work there are so helpful. Food in two buffets is yummy and so many variety of food is there.

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. When talking with a repeat guest while on our trip, she stated " you don't come for the accommodations, you come for the nature and grounds." She was right. The resort grounds, the beaches, the plants, and the wildlife are what make this place special. The group I was with stated the snorkeling right at the resort was better than any paid excursion they had taken. The staff are amazing and there is always something going on to participate in. The resort rooms are fine if your not picky. The age of the resort is definitely showing but its a clean resort. I will definitely return.

Back to Brisas 14 years later. We came to this resort in 2010 and we were curious how it changed compared to back then. We have been to secrets, barcello and dreams since then. We love the huatulco area so here's what we thought. Pros. -25 min from airport. -Rooms were partually updated, bathrooms still need some work. We stayed in their basic room in Nubes section 3223, it was clean, a comfy king bed, ocean view with a large window, mini fridge with beers, pop & water restocked daily. AC worked fine ( a little loud but you get used to it), ceiling fan, walk in shower. -Service was excellent everywhere, from the cleaning staff, waiters, bar tenders, sports beach workers everyone was excellent. -Drinks were mostly consistent and very good, my favorite was the mango margarita. And if you want a espresso/ cappuccino just ask at any food area. -Food at buffet was good, nice variety and always tasty. Snack bar is great for basic natchos, tortillas, burgers etc. A la cartes were very good, we tried 3 Mediterranean, Seafood and Solarium. -We didn't use pool.(we are ocean people) but we did put our toes in and it was very warm and seemed like a lot of activities happening -The 3 beaches were amazing (best in all the hotel zone), snorkel beach was full of beautiful fish, a turtle, a sting ray...again amazing. Family beach was shallow and perfect for children and more nervous ocean people. Sports beach was our main choice, great swimming area plus all the toys such as paddle boards, kayaks, Hobbie cats. There were plenty loungers and never had a problem finding a chair. There is also drink servers always asking if we would like anything. Entertainment was great, there was a live band or dj every night to dance to.. Shows were quite good as well. Cons - too many people smoking all over the resort, usually in a family resort smoking is quite restricted. -If you aren't very mobile you will struggle to get around this resort. There is a tonne of walking, there are trams constantly driving around always ready yo bring you to your room and back, but it would still be a challenge for many., But we were totally fine and welcomed the exercise. -If you want a balcony you will have to upgrade $$$. Otherwise just a window. In conclusion would I return?? Yes I absolutely would, but at the right price point, until some updating and renovation on rooms and facilities it should be kept at a reasonable price.

Always a pleasure to stay at Las Brisas. Large resort with multiple beach accesses. Good food, accomodations and great staff. Close to Santa Cruz and La Crucecita for those who wish to venture out.

I truly enjoyed all aspects of this resort, from the beaches, to food options, the beverages, the service was awesome and the quality of everything was fantastic! I had a couple of room issues upon arrival but they were resolved within 30 minutes of my complaint.

This is a very nice resort for the money. Very nice rooms, the property is spotless. The people mover trolleys are awesome and are constantly zipping around the resort, but there are a few areas where several steps are mandatory. Don't let the steps scare you off, there are thousands and thousands of people that come here every year that do just fine. Food - we found that the buffet is far superior to the a la carte restaurants, which is not unusual in our experience at all inclusive resorts. At this resort though, the a la carte restaurants cater to the authentic Mexican cuisine, so if that is not to your taste, then you will be better off sticking to the buffet restaurant. No need for the 5AM chair dance, lots of chairs both at the pool and the beach. This property has the best beach in the area, we spoke to many people that had been to Dreams and Secrets and said their beaches are almost unusable, but we were on the beach our entire stay. AMAZING SNORKELING right off the beach, which is why we booked here in the first place. Overall a great place for the price, but for us the evenings are just way to hot in Huatulco - it just doesn't cool off like the many other places we have been.

Well maintained grounds. Beautiful scenery. Very large and spread out, but never felt crowded.Wonderful clear beaches, and clean pools.Large comfortable rooms, with amazing views.Friendly staff, Only compliant would be the number of stairs,which make it difficult for people with mobility issues.

We have been to this resort 5 times. Love the wildlife, variety of beaches, the gym and staff! This resort isnt for people who have mobility issues, but that is what we love about it, lots of walking and enjoying the sea air and view. Thank you for making our vacation a true get away!

Wonderful weather during winter months, great beaches - clean, calm water, great pool selection , very friendly staff, big food selection at the buffet, delicious food in a la cart restaurants, above expectation. Fun aquafit classes in mid day, however, lack of other entertainment such as dancing or Zumba . Evenings were quite boring. Disappointed to find out that only vip get top shelf drinks, something I would have consider if given the choice or option

I enjoyed my stay the rooms were clean and very cool. Wish they had a couple more beers on the fridge. Beach was clean and easy to get a chair. Ocean was very clean and just the right temperature. Food was great never had a bad meal the whole week. Only knock I had was there was only one beach bar open and you had to wait forever to get a drink.

Nice resort just to many stairs for us a really lot. Beaches were small but ok for swimming food was good not to warm at buffet restaurants were good but didn’t like Mexican much. Shuttle ran very frequently and only from room to restaurant or lobby drop off point nothing between. Would not go back because of stairs

We stayed in December, 2 weeks. Our room was in Pueblo Montanas, we had a gorgeous bay view. The room was spacious, and had lots of storage places. Just a few minutes walk to the lobby and quite a lot of stairs on the other side to the beach. We love walking so it was not a problem, considered it like an exercise. The Manzanilla beach is amazing- warm clear water, no waves, lots of fish- excellent snorkel! It was the best reef right at the hotel! The other beach is a bit wavy- for those, who love to have fun swimming with the waves. We loved Manzanilla. There were lots of interestjng birds on the property and animals too. The staff/service is very good and efficient. A la carts restaurants- we loved Maroccan, Mediterranian and Pescado. We heard from other people, that there was a belly dance at the Maroccan some years ago- would be nice to get it back. Absolutely gorgeous decor there- low tables, pillows, lamps, etc. The food was yummy everywhere- buffet and a la carts. So many choices, gluten free bread. Two thumbs up to the chefs. Capuccino - ?❣️ We liked everything at this resort and definitely will come again. Thank you, Las Brisas employees, you do a lot of hard work! Literally, running like busy bees, sweating, to please visitors. Highly recommend this resort. But keep in mind- you have to be in good physical condition to enjoy it in full- there are lots of steep hills, stairs, the property is big. I

we love coming to Las Brisas Huatulco. The rooms are comfortable, love the views. We keep coming back for the guaranteed good weather, excellent swimming beaches, and tennis/pickleball. The food is very good, lots of choice and never had any issues with water. This is an excellent hotel.

All-inclusive in every sense of the word. Hardly any reason to stay when considering the various beaches, many restaurants, and sights to see within the resort grounds. Look forward to returning to Huatulco.

The property speaks for itself. Every inch is in great shape, from the beaches to the restaurants. There is an amazing choice of food for every diet. Not a single thing I wouldn’t eat again. But better than all of this was the service. Every single member is genuinely there to help and make connections with all guests. The smiles were real , the kindness was unmatched. Well done to the entire service staff.

Geographically beautiful and natural. Well manicured grounds and gardens. Rooms and facilities very clean. 4 beaches, 3 for swimming with ample lounge chairs and palapas provided. Friendly, helpful staff. Generous availability to booking the a la carte restaurants. Easy access to the bars and servers were constantly available to take drink orders on the beach. The buffet had a huge amount of food choices, none of the main courses offered were repeated during our 7 day stay. The evening shows are small scale but entertaining. Highly recommend this resort and looking forward to a return visit.

Las Brisas is a beautifully kept resort. Beaches are lovely with lots of lounge chairs on beach and poolside. Buffet excellent. Rooms satisfactory. Smart tv a bonus for steaming English programming. Definitely on our return to list.

Food and rooms were very good. Being built on the side of a mountain there are a lot of stairs for that reason I would not recommend it to someone with mobility issues even though they do offer a tram service.

We stayed for 10 days and loved the place. The beach club rooms and perks are awesome. The pools, beaches, food were great. It is our second time here and will be back. Nice and spread out so never seems crowded.

This resort was built into the side of a hill. The vegetation around made for a stunning setting. The bays provided excellent swimming and snorkelling opportunities. Breakfast at the Mexican Restaurant was enhanced by the beautiful mountain views. Carts ran regularly making it easier to get from the rooms to the main areas. There are still many stairs to get to lobby, restaurants, pool and beach. The a la cartes we had were very good and the buffets had a variety of options. Beach service and drinks were good although bars didn’t open until 11:00am. The resort is meticulously clean and the washrooms are immaculate. Staff work very hard and are friendly. This is a beautiful resort with a unique landscape and is a perfect place to relax.

Very nice hotel built on a hill, so not recommended if you have mobility issues but they do have shuttle to take you every where. The grounds are beautiful, there's a ton of vegetation, lots of birds and animals. The hotel has 3 beaches, on has a nice reef with lots of fish 3m from the shore. Another one is perfect for lazing in the water, almost no waves, and the third one has more waves if you want to play in them and they serve drinks on the beaches so if you feel lazy .... The staff is amazing, all of them, they're nice and smiley always wiling to help. The weather there is always perfect, it seems in rains about a month per year and usually during the night. It was 32 and sunny for 2 weeks when we were there with the water at 27C. Because of this, the hotel has a ton of return customers some were on their 15th visit. The food is good, not incredible but good. The snack bar has the same thing every day for lunch. The buffet is good and the "a la carte" restaurants are ok but they could be better. This being said we always found something good to eat, so don't let this stop you. It was our first time there, we'll probaby go back.

Very nice resort, great staff, great food, good rooms. The rooms are spread out in four separate buildings, all built on hills. Lots of walking and lots of stairs. There is shuttle service to/from rooms, however if you have difficulty with stairs I would think twice before booking. We were there in late Feb early March and the weather was very hot 34c day 24c night. I believe its always very hot in Huatulco. The resort has 3 nice beaches and the water is good for swimming.

The views are breath taking. Grounds are impeccable, and great food in the buffets. The bays are beautiful & full of tropical fish. We absolutely loved the grounds, catus everywhere. The staff are friendly and our room was always beyond well kept. Always lots of fresh towels at the beach and the pool. But for people with mobility issues this might not be the resort for them plenty of stairs considering Resort is built into the side of a mountain. There are golf carts to run you everywhere but the beach is still a stealthy walk for mobility issues.

The main reason we stay here is the snorkelling. The food was very disappointing. Rooms need to be updated but were clean. Staff is great. Shows were something to be desired. Unfortunately the coral in in bad shape.

Very clean resort. Always beautiful weather. Staff is very friendly. Special shout out to Alan Omar and Rodrigo for their great service at breakfast at the Mexican restaurant and to Hugo at the omelet station. Our room in the Brisas beach club suite was very spacious with a beautiful view from the deck. The housekeeping staff did a great job every day.The Brisas beach club lounge was great and the staff were excellent.

Make sure you have better than average Spanish skills. Less than average food. Friendly service that tries hard. Great beaches. WestJet rep was very helpful. Not a great deal to do other than the resort.

The grounds are beautiful. Service is amazing. Food great. Because it is on a hill, a lot of walking but they have a very fast shuttle service.Most staff wearing masks. Most people we talked to came back a few times. Also, lots of Mexicans travelling here

First and foremost the service was amazing. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond. The scenery at the resort was beautiful with the 4 beaches, mountains, birds, flora and fauna. We would go back in a heart beat. Thank you Natalie for helping us book this trip and thank you to all the staff at Las Brisas for your hospitality.

Very nice vacations ! We went a first time in 2016 and we had really enjoyed the place. We decided to go back in April 2022 and we were not disappointed ! Bullet points style : * Staff : super nice. Big improvement from 2016. They were ok in 2016 but now they really are a lot more friendly and entertaining. Waitresses and very kind, with a good sense of humor. Men waiters are a little less friendlier in general but there are some very nice so I don't want to generalize. Barman very good and fun. The ''gardeners'' watering the plants in the morning are very polite and kind. Room cleaning ladies, very kind and polite. Reception super nice. Golf cart driver super dedicated and working hard. Overall we really enjoyed the staff. It's very ''spanish oriented''. Most of them speak good english, but not excellent. Who cares, we can communicate and they are very kind. I don't think that there is a lot of french speaking staff... (again... not a problem for the majority of clients). * Rooms : very clean, spacious, everything worked well. * Covid related measures : very well. Very prudent. I would even say that some measures are too much (I'm careful, but not paranoing with covid). Like when the staff work outside and not directly speaking with clients... like the room cleaning ladies and the gardeners... working under the crazy son at 40 celcius, wearing a mask all day.... that's a little too much I find. But... I understand that it's probably requested for the highest protection standards. Poor them. But big thank you for enduring this. * Gym : big gym, very clean. * Food : Excellent buffet. We only tried one ''a la carte'' resto (Solarium-Steakhouse) which was pretty good. Weird but it was the only time that we found the service ''cold''. They all looked stressed, rushed although they were like 8 waiters for about 50 clients (??? I worked as a waiter for 10 years and each waiter had sections of 30 to 60 clients so I can't understand the rush for 8 clients per waiter... lol). The buffet is excellent. I heard that the Marocan resto was very very good. We missed it. * Beach : super clean, very enjoy-full. Beautiful ! Little reef pretty fun for basic snorkelling. Beware not to get caught by the wave that can throw you on the coral... could be hurtful. Otherwise very interesting. My only deception was that we could not swim from the ''secret Beach side''. In 2016, there was a sign ''swim at your own risk'' and I had amazing snorkelling all week in that bay. However, I'm an experienced snorkeler who love waves and adrenaline. I admit that the water could be rough. Now, 2022, they switch the sign to ''not allowed / prohibited'' and I had not noticed it. The guard caught me on our first day and warn us not go... so we didn't. I was very disappointed as it was the main thing I was looking up to... but I understand. It's rough water... currents, waves, rocks... The main beach is fun enough. General layout: It's built on hills and the weather was crazy hot ! 35-40 celcius all week. So it can be difficult for some people to walk around from the room to the restos or the beach. We personally like it as it makes us burn calories before consuming some extra ones at the buffet lol. But anyway, they have a very effective transport system across the resort with little trucks and golf carts like. The view points offer superb views of the ocean the coast, etc... Overall we love this resort. We would go back in a heartbeat (depending on the deals/price). 4/5... maybe 4.5/5 Too bad that there is no direct flight from Ottawa and the our experience with Air Canada was terrible this time. My review on Air Canada will be mainly negative. And I hate complaining but they were really terrible. My girlfriend is now scared of buying a trip that is not a direct flight following this experience. It took us 27 hours and 2 stops to get there... We went to Philippines in 2011 and I took us 24 hours (2 stops)... how can it take even more time to get from Canada to Mexico ? anyway...

Gorgeous beaches and grounds; Food was somewhat mediocre Problem with getting a cup of coffee in the middle of the day Cocktails and alcoholic drinks were actually quite good Service was generally good and room was cleaned every day. Be aware that room buildings are up on the hills so you either walk a looot of stairs or fully relaying on carts . Not sure if I'd be back to that particular resort

We really enjoyed our stay. We spent a ton of time on the beach. The swimming was fantastic. The female server st the beach was really good. I wish I had written down her name. All the staff is really good and very helpful. My only suggestion would be to improve the map or signs as we were pretty confused at first. Next to that once we learned our way around we didn't want to leave and will definitely come back.

Spectacular view of the ocean, clean and spacious room. Love the way the resort is designed. Make you feel if you were in Greece. The beaches are also very nice. The staff are very friendly. Love the vibes of the resort.

Grounds very clean and well kept, rooms clean. Stairs definitely were a challenge at moments, but shuttles were readily available. Staff very nice and friendly. Layout of resort is very different, but it provides a nice variety for walking, swimming etc. Covid protocols were strictly adhered to. Food was good in buffet and in a la carte restaurants. Over all a very good family vacation. Make sure to go into Santa Cruz and La Crucecita, restaurants great especially on beach.

grounds were beautiful, very clean, staff were great. beaches were awesome, really enjoyed the lounge entertainment. did not feel the food was up to a 4 1/2 or 5 star resort. a lot of stairs, would not recommend to someone with mobility issues.

This hotel was amazing. The grounds were very nice and clean and the scenery was stunning. The food was also excellent and they have a wide variety of options with various themed restaurants as well. Loved the shows they had almost every night and daily activities. Was an awesome way to take a break and relax with family!

It was a beautiful resort. Located on the outskirts. Big with a trolley to your room. Very friendly and accommodating. They were very cautions in all aspects. Masks are worn at all times, except at the table to eat and at the pool/beach. Friendly reminders to wear your mask too. Hand sanitizer everywhere. The WestJet Rep Hullio was AMAZING!!! He had a check list for us for when we left, reminders to book your PCR test, available to assist where he could. Thank you Kevin for your assistance in booking this amazing trip for us! :)

My review is based on what we look for in a vacation. We are a senior couple. We look for a nice and swimmable beach access, mature adults not a lot of party people, friendly atmosphere, clean, controlled smoking areas. A variety of food selections, and various extra items such as bikes, stand up paddleboards, pickleball etc. As well as quick access to the countries culture. We booked our two-week vacation through Trip Central online which is who we typically book with. This was a WestJet Vacation all inclusive. It is important to note that baggage was not included in the all-inclusive rate. Each bag was $30.00 Canadian and on return #30.00 US. As we usually book air Transat we were surprised to have this additional fee. The airport is small, like most Mexico destinations they still had the time share alley. We have travelled enough to know that we need to keep going and look for the West Jet bus sign. The ride to hotel was about 20 – 30 minutes in a comfortable bus with a tour guide providing additional information on the area and the hotel. Las Brisas is a beautiful resort with well kept grounds and lot of local wildlife and many species of birds. They have a botanical garden which is beautiful to stroll through. As many have written this resort is built into a hill, which means lots and lots of stairs. I found them oversized so a bit harder to navigate. For those that cannot manage the stairs they have shuttles that run all over the resort to take you to your destination and for those with more mobility issues will even take you down to the beach area on the special carts. We found walking the roads around the resort were a much easier way to get around and we got lots of exercise. There are basically three beaches to choose from. Plus what is called secret beach, which if the water permits is a nice snorkel area. It is not a hang out beach. The small beach by the Mexican restaurant is the snorkel beach. It is a bit more shielded in the bay so less wave action. There is a small reef there and they do whistle if folks are standing on it. In an effort to preserve it. The middle beach is much larger a little more wave action. We still saw a lot of folks snorkeling from that beach. Finally the sports beach, where you can take out stand up paddleboards, kayaks single or double, small sailboat (they will teach you to sail for a small fee), then you can take it out on your own. The waves are a bit higher on this beach. They do offer snorkel equipment, but they did seem to run out and are limited to 1 hour. Due to the calmness of the water, fins are not really needed in this small bay. They change the flags often to reflect the conditions, which also dictates if they would distribute equipment. They even had a flag for jelly fish warning. The beach loungers are fairly comfortable and they also have little coffee tables. As well some hammocks scattered around. The hotel has a state of the art fitness centre with machines in excellent condition. They have a tennis pro and many many tennis courts. Basketball and Volleyball. I heard that they host a lot of tournaments. One of the big plus for us was the pickleball courts and play. They have 4 courts plus one by the buffet which is almost impossible to play on due to heat and no shade. Even though the hotel does not arrange this, this hotel has become a destination pickleball vacation spot. Play is typically from 7am to 9am due to the heat. Most of the courts were in action. All levels of play. The hotel sells memberships to the local expats who come every morning to play as well. This was a huge highlight for us. Best to bring your own balls and paddles. We would return just for this option to play each day. Our room was large and roomy and the AC worked ok. It is really hot there so the AC was a welcome and necessary feature. They have a small coffee pot and a stocked fridge with pop and mini beers. You get 4 beers per day. The room also has a combination safe which is large enough to put your tablets in. TV had some English channels and they did provide a TV guide. Our room view was specular. Over looked the bay. It did not have a balcony which we thought we would miss, but due to the limited time in the room we did not. The hotel seemed to have a lot of returning guests, many 10 or 11 times. They indicated that they had tried the other resorts across the bay but due to the limited access to the ocean they preferred Las Brisas. We found the food choices wide and excellent. We are used to having more Mexican dish options but that seemed limited. The Al la carts were great, and their booking system is easy. When you check in they tell you how many you are allowed to book and you can book them all right away. For the two week we received eight. We tried them all except for one as you have to sit on the floor and we were not keen to do that. My husband loves shrimp, but he does not like to peal them and many of the dishes with shrimp you had to. But he did say they were delicious. They also have a snack bar option if you don’t wish to have a lot for lunch. The drink options were endless. The mix was more natural juices and at some bars they would even add real fruit. Our favorite were the option to have Mimosas at every meal. They also had a form of Baily’s for coffee in the am. They do provide beach service. Remember to tip, they work hard for you and it is a super nice perk to have. We did not really struggle this time with inconsiderate smokers. They are working towards being environmentally focused so no straws in any drinks, choices on towel changes etc. The resort also have an ashtray type set up for smokers to not put their butts in the beach sand. I don’t think we even saw on butt. They system worked. They do hand out a lot of individual water bottles, so hopefully they recycle them. They have an app you can download which will provide you the daily activity and show schedule as well as the list of restaurants and menus. It is also set up for you to be able to call home free of charge through the app. It is fairly good but it does have opportunity for improvement, such as adding a message board. The resort has wifi throughout, you even have access on the beach. We did notice more people on their phones , a lot less disconnection of technology. Some frustrations which are typical of most resorts are the saving of beach chairs with prime seating and shade and then never have them show up or have your saved spot taken away which happened several times for us. Some people brought down their loud music players and blasted the music, which was really annoying. At the beginning we said part of what makes our holiday is getting exposed to the culture. You cannot just walk into town. You have to take a cab. It is not expensive, and cabs are easy to get. For us we like to be able to walk in on our own rather than have to make a plan. So this hotel felt a bit like hotel prison for us! We only made one trip into town. Overall this is a nice resort, well run with lots to do. It is very clean and beaches are awesome. We will likely return.

This was our 2nd trip to Las Brisas and better than the first 2 years ago. 16 family members with us and everyone had great experiences. Discovered more features of the area that were exciting and tasty. Resort is clean and the very few minor issues we had were resolved immediately and pleasantly. Food was very good but a little too tamed down for the tourists. Staff was always pleasant and extremely helpful. especially when making off site travel arrangement with taxis and shuttles. Always felt safe and comfortable.

Absolutely Wonderful. Great views, beautiful beaches, wonderful staff and food. We were very happy with our stay. We were very comfortable in huatulco, safe place to visit. Great weather the whole week.

This was our fourth visit to Las Brisas and we will be back! The staff are outstanding and provide attentive and friendly service. There is lots of choice at the buffet with a good selection of alternate a al carte choices. The resort is large and provides opportunity to walk and work off some of the excess indulges or to take a trolley that runs constantly to speed you to your destination. There are 3 beaches to choose from with soft sand at each. The tennis clinics are run by a very experienced and patient instructor ( Paco) who provides excellent individual pointers to improve your game. The resort is located near a small town that provides an easily accessed alternate activity for a day or evening.

I loved the birds. Squirrels, all the beautiful trees and that you are not just confined to one strip of beach but can wonder around and chose from 3 beaches.. a bit a pity that people start to bring their music to the beach and disturbe the natural sounds. but the hotel told them to please turn it down- that helped. food was great, staff very friendly. all in all a great week.

There was an expanse to explore, warm, calm, clean water for swimming many times a day. The buffets diverse and delicious (we are now back home,dieting). The staff were kind and gentle, a pleasure to be around such lovely people. The view from my room was spectacular. Sailing was my favourite! I took out one of the catamarans at least once a day. Always a thrill.

The hotel was everything we could have hoped for and more. The weather was perfect, the resort was clean and the staff were like non other. They all went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time and had everything we need. We went on the falls tour, and it was very worth it, and made for a wonderful day. We can’t wait to return back one day and experience it all again. One of the most relaxing weeks of our lives! (Also the food was incredible! There were so many selections available, and everything taste amazing, the best food we have had on a resort by far!).

The Las Brisas resort in Huatulco Mexico was very comfortable and the food choices were varied. The rooms were comfortable with lots of space and small fridge that was kept stocked daily, the coffee machines (pod type) were inconvenient as you only got one regular and one decaf a day. The staff were very accommodating for your requests in a timely manner even with the long commutes from the main buildings to some of the suites. If you like to walk you get lots of it from your room to the beaches and restaurants. The shuttle service around the resort was frequent and speedy even though we only used it a few times as we like to walk. The three beaches are all great and finding chairs somewhere was not an issue unless you wanted to be front and centre, there was always a place on the grass or at the third beach near the water activity centre. The food in some of the alacarte was inconsistent from night to night, but the buffet dinners where always varied and provide fresh grilled items daily both for lunch and dinner. Kitchen staff seemed to be aware of gluten allergies and were very helpfull and accommodating.The location of the resort was private yet close to several towns that are easily reached by walking or taking a taxi at set prices.

Just spent a week at las Brisas. This resort is spread out in a natural area. Very nice with wildlife and flowers . They have a very good taxi service that takes you all over the resort. No worries if you can't walk. Check in was quick and easy. Food was all good although the Morrocan was a bit sketchy. Lots of pools and always a place to put your towel. Bars I lost count but your never far from one and they have baby Coronas in the rooms. Good entertainment a t night and some nice singers at the main bar to. Great place I would go back again and yes I would recommend this place to everyone.

Very nice and huge property: big and green with many stairs, but golf carts will deliver you quickly to almost any place. Beautiful views. Great beach with very good opportunity for snorkeling right there - some days are better, some worse but still really impressing when this is right at hotel property. Free water sports activities.If you will be looking for shaded place - you will need to reserve the beach-beds before 7 a:m. Towel service from 9-5 only. Very clean property: rooms, beach, park or other facilities. Nice and sincerely glad to help staff. We were very happy to tip, which they deserved 110%. Very often really amazing. Unfortunately, not always enough staff to serve and often no very fluent in English, but not critical. Had some issues with A/C and water, but all was completely fixed during 2 hours, which was really amazing. Average food: fresh, but nothing special or fancy. La-carte restaurants - nothing special - may be easily skipped. Not much to see in the area, especially if this is not your first time in Mexico. Very few young people and families with kids, mostly preferred place for mature couple/groups. Many people coming there not once and love the place.

We stayed at this resort for a week in January. It was our first time to Huatulco. My first time to Mexico. We were very impressed by the resort. The service was fantastic! The food was very good. The grounds are beautiful. It sits on about 50 acres and I don't even feel I saw the whole resort while we were there. It is built into a cliff so it is very hilly. You pretty well have to take a cart to get back to your room. That would be the only drawback, if you have mobility issues. You really think twice about running back to your room, it's kind of an trek to go back but I loved the vegetation and grounds. And the employees are very quick to pick you up from your room when you call. If you enjoy playing tennis or pickle ball, there are tons of courts! And the tennis pro was very nice and accommodating. I would also recommend going on the bird walk in the mornings. The hotel supplied us with binoculars and the tour guide had a telescope. He was very interesting, it was a lot of fun! Truly beautiful! We would go back!

The report is on an amazing location and it has a very good maintain garden. All the staff is friendly and doing a great job. There are a lot of agreement facilities. There are three beaches and the water on the ocean is calm without big waves good for swimming. Room is clean, food is very good testy. Every evening entertainment is well done by a good team.

Excellent Hotel, lots of activities. Very large resort, just be prepared to get some steps in. Nice staff, good food and lots of choices. Had a small issue with first room AC wasn’t pumping out cold enough air and quickly were changed to another room.

The resort was beautiful and very well cared for with never a problem to obtain a beach chair which to me was amazing as most resorts there are not enough chairs on the beach. The entertainment in the theater was very sub standard with very little to no English and very poor quality.The singer and piano player in the main bar area were enjoyable. The singers playing in the dance floor area were 90% Spanish speaking and singing and while the music was good the resort should incorporate both English and Spanish into their entertainment. There needs to be more places to sit where the bands play and the dancing is happening. Majority of the guests we met there spoke English so the resort should realize English speaking entertainment is necessary. The Seafood restaurant was amazing however the steakhouse was not the best. Mexican Restaurant had entertainment and the meals were good. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. The frozen mango drinks were amazing. One night when I returned to my room there was a small flood in the bathroom from the air conditioner and I called the main desk and within less than 10 minutes the maintenance man was there and the repair complete promptly which I very much appreciated. I have traveled to many resorts over the years and would recommend this resort and would go there again There were many guests we met who have been there a dozen times or more with one couple we met had been to this same resort 30 times.

Whether you like to lounge on the beach or be active in the water or on land, this place has it all. The snorkelling right off the beach is great for all skill levels. Seldom do I go somewhere twice but I’m definitely going back to Las Brisas.

This hotel checks all the boxes .... 11 tennis courts, 4 pickleball (I need to mention Paco Hernandez, the tennis pro - fantastic guy!), a complete gym as well as yoga and pillates classes every day, 3 great swimming beaches, a walk/run path that runs from one end of the property to the other, excellent food, spacious rooms and wonderful service everywhere on the property. Facing the peaceful Pacific Ocean, the weather in this area is perfect ...31-32 degrees with barely a cloud in the sky. Every way you look there are glorious views of tropical and desert botanicals with mountains in the distance. There are lots of things to do off the resort as well and town is safe to visit .... go for yourself and discover one of Mexico's treasures.

Glad to return to Las Brisas in Huatulco after my first visit three years ago. The hospitality is well done. There is much talent, experience and individual qualities presented through the various hotel departments - a general good feel exists. This recent trip met our expectations, I could not stay away from the water sports so send thanks to the water sports folks.

Huge resort with 50% Canadians and Mexican nationals alike. The bay had 4 beaches, 3 which were able to lay by the beach and swim in. One of the beaches had a reef right off the sand which had even better snorkeling than the tour we did. The food was alright. We preferred the buffet compared to the a la carte restaurants as it had more selection. The seafood was excellent. Desserts were nothing to rave about. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, Huatulco is the place. Much quieter and less crowded than Mayan riviera. The beaches on the Caribbean are more beautiful but Huatulco’s laid back vibe and the lack of seaweed afflicting the Caribbean last few years makes it a better bet we would come back here.

6th visit to this resort. Returned again with friends that we met at Las Brisas Huatulco in 2018. A welcome gift awaited our arrival. Truly a great location with with private beaches.Truly safe to swim and a great value for your money. I recommend this resort again and again.Safe and clean and I have always had a great experience at this resort and the staff truly make this resort worth visiting. Received a room upgrade that truly made the holiday memorable. Great views and peaceful. Again Lisa @ Trip Central.ca was experience professional and made all the arrangements a breeze. Although this is an older resort it’s well kept and clean. Service and staff were great! Usually don’t rate or consider food comments as it’s personal preference, to my taste food was great! The best part had to be the beach and ocean, lovely, warm and decent snorkeling. Would recommend this place, if you’re able to do lots of stairs.

This resort was amazing! The service was outstanding! It was clean and the rooms decorated beautifully. The air conditioning worked (Thank Goodness as very warm!) and the food (especially at the buffet) was great every day! Be prepared for a work out however as there are no elevators and the stairs to climb are not for the faint of heart. They do have shuttles readily available b ut even the climb to the lobby can be tough for those not aware. Overall this was a lovely place to be! The pools were wonderful and the beaches extraordinary. would definitely return!

Las Brisas is a smallish all-inclusive hotel where many Canadians seem to vacation. A great home away from home! This gem of a resort has a good variety of restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean. A variety of beaches and water sports are available You can also snorkel at the resort when the tide is high as the reef is quite shallow. Staff are friendly too:)

Las Brisas is a wonderful resort. The rooms are a nice size, they're clean and the beds are comfortable. You can snorkel directly on the resort. Overall it was a great experience. I would recommend visiting this area.

My wife and I just returned from Las Brisas and had a great time!! Weather was great, food was good, room was spacious and clean and the bed was one of the best I have slept on. The staff were friendly and worked hard. The 3 beaches were great and the beach waiters did a great job keeping our glasses full!! Great idea as well to provide water bottles on the beach. Would go back again.

Las Brisas Huatulco was an amazing site. Natural setting, lots of birds (excellent bird watching guided tour included), good nutritious food (boring menu if you have a long stay as it repeats the food choices), amazing staff (all the way from arrival to food management, groundskeeping, and housekeeping). Beautifully maintained gardens, smooth tenis court, great soccer field, super clean pools, 3 crystal clear beaches (all swimmable and accessible). Quick transportation if not inclined to walk the many stairs and paths available (pick up spots all have phones to call for quick pick up). Lots of hiking available to site seeing (phenomenal ocean views wherever you turn). I found the children's program (Angelitos) not being used because there is no transportation to the site from the Lobby or elsewhere in the property and it is far from the hotel rooms or the beaches. They had 3 staff and no kids the 3 times that I went to try to use it for my child (did not use it in the end). Beaches were beyond beautiful, super clean and tons of fish, urchins, and crabs to spot and watch. Away from the crowds. It is not a party hotel for young people (no disco), which was perfect for family and older adults. There is daily entertainment by an amazing team of staff (with pretty good dance training as well). Adults and kids in my family enjoyed every show. On the weekend, they bring vendors to sell crafts. Rooms: stayed at a basic room (no balcony or living room) but amazing ocean view from the windows. Loved the shower heads and the comfortable double beds. There was even a cloths line in the bathroom to hang bathing suits. Cannot say enough about the beauty and quietness of the place. if you want noise and party too, you can seek it out by the pool side and snack bar or the evening entertainment, but if you want to sleep in a hammock and enjoy your drinks, that too is available. Dislikes: having to pay for snorkeling mask (other resorts include it in the package) for 5 people adds up.

This resort is very clean, we’ll landscaped and nicely looked after. Food was good with 5 al a carte restaurants besides the big buffet. We never waited in line for food or seating. Ocean Water was warm a realitively calm.

The hotel was great. Not fancy but the setting was unlike any resort we had been at in the past. Very unique as it has little villas set in the hill sides with all Canadian people as guests!!. Staff were great and very friendly.

On my 3rd time to the Huatulco/Oaxaca area, Feb 26 to Mar 5 2019, I continued to be amazed by the culture, beauty, people, safety, cleanliness and of course the absolutely consistent weather of the region! My first exposure to the region was a solo whitewater kayaking trip on the Copalita river 10 years ago. The second was at a resort on one of the Huatulco Bays in 2018. My 2019 trip started with the trip booking thru tripcentral, continued thru the Sunwing tour operator and accommodations at Las Brisis resort. Everything was exceptionally coordinated and delivered to me and my companion to meet all of my expectations. The variety of activity items at the resort and food was incomparable! I unfortunately became seriously ill one day (from eating food off site (my fault)), BUT on my return to the hotel, the staff bent over backwards to assist me, including a check-up by the on-site medic and hotel staff.I was so grateful for their care and attention.! In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, " I be back" !!!

Everything about this resort was great. Loved the beaches, snorkelling, and food was amazing. Staff very friendly and accommodating! Was nervous about going to Mexico due to safety, and in this area felt completely safe.

I had a wonderful week at Las Brisas. It was everything that I hoped for and much more. Room - I upgraded to a Club Suite and stayed in the Caribe building in the Mar section. I arrived late at night and woke early the next morning and caught the last of the sunrise. I was blown away by the view from my room, just spectacular looking out over the bay and I had a huge terrace. The room was very spacious and I had everything that I could need, the mini fridge was well stocked with Corona, water, juice, pop, hips and chocolate treats and they were replenished daily. I also really enjoyed the coffee maker and the expresso pods that were provided. Sheets and linens were lovely. Resort - Spread over a huge area, was thankful for the golf carts as I had a knee replacement 3 months earlier. There are also larger shuttles to transport people throughout the resort. The scenery and the nature were spectacular, beautiful trees, cacti, plants, bougainvillea and other flowering shrubs were everywhere, a feast for the eyes. Due to the hilly nature of the landscape, you really get some spectacular views over the bay. The resort and the buildings are beautifully maintained and are Mexican in design. Beautiful pools and gardens. Beach - Three beaches, I personally enjoyed the middle beach. Lovely beach and the water was crystal clear, fantastic swimming. The only issue I had was it was a challenge getting in and out to to some drop offs and your feet really sunk into the sand. Once I was in, pure heaven. Drink service at the beach was excellent or you could just go yourself to the Tiki bars at either end of the beach. Main Buffet - I found the food to be really good at the main buffet, good variety and often a good temperature. I loved that you could get fish freshly grilled ( they also have other meats and hamburgers). I really enjoyed the Mexican dishes that were offered, especially the chicken in a tomato mole sauce......delicious and beef in an enchilada sauce. I also had some delicious tacos and guacamole and tomatilo salsa etc. They also had many delicious non Mexican offerings, a great selection of fruits, vegetables and desserts. A La Carte Restarants - I tried four of the a la carte restaurants. El Pescador (seafood), the La Kasbah (morrocan), El Mexicano and Mediterraneo (Mediterranean). My favourite was El Pescador and La Kasbah was a close second. I went to El Pescador 3 times during my week as I had unlimited a la cartes with the Beach club. A lot of people find the Kasbah uncomfortable because the decor is authentic and the seats and tables are low. I encourage you to give it a chance because my main course was the most delicious lamb that i have had in a long time. The decor is beautiful and you are entertained by a young beautiful belly dancer. Unfortunately I was not feeling well the night that I went to the Mexican restaurant and ended up leaving after my appetiser. I did not like the Mediterranean restaurant, my appetiser was cold and not flavourful, I left before my main due to poor service. Misc. - The music was nice in the bar area in the evening. I ate late so I did not go to any of the shows. The drinks were good and there was a lot of variety. My bartender at the beach made me a terrific Mojito! Staff - Wonderful, friendly people, overall great service. The scenery is spectacular in this area and I will definitely be returning to Las Brisas!

We were at Las Brisas for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The resort is huge and is like being in a jungle. Beautiful gardens and trees/cacti everywhere. Rooms and all of the facilities were super clean. However we did experience a sewage smell in our room which came and went. Don't stay in room 2117! Most staff were attentive except for the Mexican and steakhouse restaurants. Service very slow and food mediocre. The Mediterranean was the best!. Beaches were beatiful and clean with easy access and many colours of fish. Visit Santa Cruz a charming little village. Le Crucecita was too busy with lots of traffic. The stairs and shuttles got a little tedious after 2 weeks. And the rsort was just too big with rooms quite far from pools, beaches and restaurants. So would not return.

We were a two couples (ages 55 to 65) from rural Ontario, looking for sun, interesting landscape and culture, relaxation, water sports, good food and comfortable accommodations. Las Brisas Huatulco more than met our expectations. Whether a la carte or buffet, the food was varied, fresh and delicious. Friendly service always and very hard working staff, including the activity coordinators. My friend and I enjoyed a very culturally informative and visually stunning shopping excursion to a Mexican market in Pochutla, a photographer's dream. Set on a hillside in the Sierra Madres, the modern, warm architecture of the resort presents breathtaking views of the nearby bays and coastlines. Lots of stairs and steep walkways, but always 6 seater shuttles available, rarely with any wait time. So no complaints from us. Highly recommended.

Beautiful resort. Amazing staff. Love the hills. Burn calories so you can totally enjoy the food and drinks. Shuttle available if you have had a couple of drinks. Only issue is management controlling expenditure limiting staff st the a la cartes. So unfair to the staff and client.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The grounds were very well kept, beaches are very nice and child friendly, my kids loved the pool and entertainment. Overall, we loved the location, beaches and the resort. We plan to be back next year.

it was a nice resort, lots of stairs so not really handicapped friendly. We were able to upgrade when we arrived as our original room had a fair amount of ants. We enjoyed our stay in the upgraded room. Close proximity to little towns and went to some meals off the resort which were great tasting and good prices

Just returned from a 12 day/11 night all inclusive WestJet vacation booked through TripCentral. Special thanks to Danielle Pyette at TripCentral for a great location/vacation suggestion. Extra thanks to the Las Brisas WestJet representative Angle you are awesome! As seen in many other reviews Las Brisas is an older resort with Lots of stairs/hills. The guest shuttles are very accommodating and always prompt when requested. Rooms are adequate/nice/comfortable. We booked the Las Brisas Beach Club Suite. The extra friendly staff, the great food, the great beaches and the well maintained grounds are why I give Las Brisas a 5 star rating. Can’t say enough about the Amazing staff and food. We ventured off resort to local towns. The restaurants/transportation/local people are also great/friendly-always felt safe. And of coarse the weather is perfect. Highly recommend Las Brisas Huatulco-we will be returning.

While the grounds are sprawling, and you definitely need to be fit to manage all the stairs (there are no elevators to get between many locations; do NOT come here if you cannot manage stairs), the many levels and the space between facilities make it seem uncrowded and relaxed. The general vibe is laid back, but efficient. The staff is relentlessly helpful, and the facilities are very clean. Overheard someone complaining that there was no food available between 11:30 am and 1 pm. Never heard another complaint, and seriously, if you can't stuff breakfast in you before 11:30, you could order room service (maybe there's a fee for that, not sure). We will be returning.

The resort is on a large piece of property so feels spacious and easy to find a sense of quiet and calm. There is a nice view of distant mountains and the grounds have beautiful plants and lots of birds. We really enjoy the daily tennis lessons (Paco is a great teacher) and yoga. Restaurants are good, and we enjoyed the Beach Club rooms with a balcony and view, along the additional services.

We really had a great week, the only thing that we did not appreciate was the dirty floor in the room. The floor was not washed properly. Walking from the shower to the bed our feet got dirty. Otherwise no other issues.

Second time in this beautiful resort. This is a gem. Lots of vegetation lots of amazing views. Food is good maybe can improve in more selection but food is good and fresh Lots of guacamole and Mexican food yuumy!! . People is amazing super friendly and helpful. Rooms and clean and super spacious we stayed at family junior suite super comfy. The beach is why we love this place ! You want a beach vacation this is the place the 3 beaches are amazing very safe for kids not undertoe !! Very shallow and can snorkel right there as they have a coral reef!! Will back here for sure! Want a pool vacatuon go to Dreams or Barcelo their beach is rough and undertoes and deep right away!! want the best beach in Huatulco Brisas it is! I traveled to many places this is for sure the best place . Huatulco us super safe for family. I am from Mexico and live in Canada I will avoid Cancun area /Puerto Vallarta very dangerous right now!

Las Brisas Huatulco is set on a point sprawling over 400 acres of tropical gardens, ocean views and quiet cove beaches. The rooms are all set away from the noisy public areas. If you don’t mind either taking a shuttle or enjoying the walk to your accommodation, you’ll be rewarded with excellent swimming and snorkeling, lots of fun activities and free water sports, tropical birds and romantic starry nights! Our favourite restaurant was the Mexican one for its view of the snorkeling beach. We loved having breakfast there each morning. We took one Sunwing excursion to visit the 7 Bays, a day of sailing, snorkeling and a stop for a fine seafood lunch. The best recommendation I can give you is to say that we met a great number of people who have returned to this resort year after year. If you really want to relax and enjoy Mexican hospitality and natural beauty, choose Las Brisas over some of the other fancier resorts in the area. A true hidden gem!

Very attentive staff, close to town, 3 beaches all very nice. Music at the pool not to our liking And also people were leaving their towels on deck chairs while going for lunch, and taking prime shade areas for hours at a time.

Exceptional specialty beaches for sports, relaxing and snorkeling. No shortage of lounges and chairs. Clean spacious rooms. Ours had a magnificent view of the beaches and bay. All of the restaurants had interesting selections and we were always served fresh,quality offerings. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Although English speaking abilities varied with the staff, there was no problem communicating and they always seemed to 'Do Their Best'. The elevation was challenging at times but the shuttle services were usually available to save the day after a big dinner and drinks. Fantastic vacation from the Westjet flights each way to the daily enjoyment of the resort amenities. We will be returning with the entire family and grandchildren next year.

Well kept facility, clean, friendly. Food at buffet has lots of variety and we didn’t suffer from the day five I’m done with this syndrome. Shows fun but under promoted. Specialty restaurants ok but not great. Wifi that actually works. Tangalonda bay beautiful as is surrounding area.
