Finest playa mujeres was a great family friendly resort. We went with a 8 month old baby and they provided all the baby amenities like bottle warmer, sterilizer, bath tub, monitor, crib. They also have an awesome kids centre while our baby was too young to take full advantage of it, it would be a great place for toddlers and older. The resort had great amenities, staff was friendly and offered amazing service and food was good. I would definitely go back and plan to when my little guy is older.

This resort was wonderful. The only think I would recommend is that there was more adults only spaces for the restaurants and areas around the adults only rooms. The service at the excellence club was great. Only concern was kids walking around the adult pools.

We absolutely LOVED this resort for our first all inclusive family trip with our 3 year old and 6 month old. The service from the staff was 5/5. The private pool room was absolutely perfect for the current stage we are in with our two children. Having the “backyard” and pool was so handy for us with our baby napping and entertaining our toddler. One issue with the room would be the slippery showers. Based on trip advisor reviews we knew to bring a bath mat. I think that would be something great for the hotel to provide. Otherwise, all necessities were available for our baby to help reduce what we needed to pack. Our toddler loved the kids club splash pad and we look forward to bringing them back and entering our oldest in the day programs. The entertainment was great and we thoroughly enjoyed watching our toddler live his best life during the Superheroes and Princesses show. We loved the Mexican and steakhouse and Buffett was impeccable. Only issue with food would be the buffet should be available every night of the week. Size of the resort was perfect. My mother met the owners of the resort who were visiting from Spain, at the main lobby bar and they were very keen on knowing how our kids were enjoying the resort and were very interested in knowing if their staff were treated well. This sat very well with us. We have already made plans with several couples with children to return to this resort in the future.

Nice hotel layout and beautiful grounds. Great choice of restaurants. The food was above average for an all inclusive and the service was outstanding. The beach was very nice and there was always a p/ace to sit under an umbrella. The gym was great with a very friendly and knowledgeable personal trainer present at all times. The bar tenders were great and worked very hard to serve everyone quickly. The rooms were very functional and clean. Overall top notch holiday all inclusive experience.

The resort itself is nice and modern. My main complaint is with the restaurants. Food wasn’t close to a 5 star luxury resort as they boast. The hostess at most restaurants was also curt and not very welcoming. I wouldn’t return

This was our first family visit to the Finest Playa Mujeres we had a wonderful time. The food was great we loved the fact that they had different themes every night for dinner. We didn’t get a chance to eat outside much due to the mosquitoes which were pretty bad but the resort did their best to spray every morning and night to avoid them. The beach was clean and amazing, my daughter had a blast at the kids club. The only thing I would change is the time of season we went too many mosquitoes. A special thanks to the staff who went out of their way to go all the way to Walmart to purchase my sons formula when we ran out. Great customer service the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and recommend this resort.

Our stay at the Finest Resort could have been much better if they had a better bed mattress. The bed mattress was so soft I had to sleep on the couch through out our entire holiday. I have ostio-arthritis in my back and neck and after my first nights sleep I woke in so much pain, I contacted the concierge immediately to ask for a firmer mattress to be installed but they have nothing on the resort (not one firm or mattress with any form of support on hand) they had the mattress turned around to see if the bottom end might be firmer, it was the same-no support at all). Unfortunately for me, I had to sleep on the couch the entire visit which was horrendous for me as I got a bacterial parasite in my stomach from the sandwich which was served on the plane during our flight to the resort which left me cramping in my belly, I had to lay twenty hours a day on the couch from day two until we left on day six! This whole experience would have been much better had they if had a back up firm mattress on the premises as would be expected at a five star resort. We have travelled extensively and stayed at many five star resorts, I have never had a soft bed like this ever at any resort or hotel we have stayed at. I cannot comment on much more as I spent most of my visit in my room layed out flat on the couch eating room service which to me was not as good in comparison to any of the other resorts we have stayed at in the Cancun area. Service from staff was excellent and room cleanliness was very good.

This is a terrific resort for families. We went with 3 generations, and enjoyed swim-up rooms that were adjoining. The rooms were spacious, the grounds were immaculately maintained, the beach area was well served, the restaurants provided delicious food (there were more specialty restaurants we wanted to try than could be visited in 7 nights) ...and the weather was great. Service was perfect, and water sports (Sea Doo's Parasailing, Kayaks were used and enjoyed). This was our 3rd such Family outing, and we look forward to many more

This is a beautiful resort that is thoughtfully and beautifully laid out. There was always a corner with a chair or lounger that had a lovely view and the wait staff were always available to ask if there was anything you needed. It blew me away that after only one day we were greeted by name by several people! The rooms are nicely appointed with comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom and great amenities. The motion sensor lights came on at night when you go to the bathroom which was a bit annoying but others suggested bringing stickers or tape to cover them up. It was truly relaxing to lie out n the balcony on either of the 2 daybeds or to sit in the chair and just enjoy the air and the view. The food was very good to super depending on your tastes and which of the many restaurants you go to. We really enjoyed not having to make reservations and not wearing wristbands. My husband would have liked either a Canadian or BBC news channel to stay informed. Overall, it was the staff that made this trip feel like a true pampering holiday.

Resort is great in all areas. The service is exceptional. It's really nice when the entire staff really make an effort to make sure you have a great time. Food is excellent for an all inclusive, beach really nice too.

What a wonderful place. Food was amazing, the people are so friendly. So clean and organized. Very kid friendly. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone and everyone. Room was always clean and fridge always full.

The finest is truly an amazing resort in all aspects. The cleanliness, politeness of the staff, and service was fantastic. There was a bit of seaweed on the beach but the staff did their best to remove what they could, and it did not negatively impact our stay.

The resort was more than we thought it would be... the resort name could not be anymore accurate... EXCELLENCE! I was so impressed that we are going back in October for 10 days. I am really at a loss about any negative items. I guess if I had to pick one it would be the size of the elevators, they are small. The food was delicious, the servers were polite and very happy to meet and of your needs, even making some changes to your menus choices. The menus had a lot of variety and choosing just one was difficult. You could order 2 if you wanted too. There were healthy choices as well. The room were large as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable not too hard and not to soft. If you did not like the pillow you could order one that fits your needs from the pillow menu which range from flat to soft with various materials down, foam etc. There was a steamer in the room so no ironing, someone was thinking there. Room service was fast and the food was hot upon arrival. The resort was very clean, we saw no bugs what so ever. There were no ants or any other type of insect.

Clean, tidy, amazing staff, great service, great activities, excellent spread of food & beverages, only thing missing was a first aid kit on site, great resort for couples and families, we visited for 7 nights from 19 august to 26 august, weather was hot and muggy but the pools kept us cool

A wonderful spot to celebrate - in our case, our 50th anniversary with our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Whatever we needed was there, in some cases before we even knew we needed it ... like coconut water on the beach late in the afternoon. No worries about what or when we were going to eat, drink, sail, swim, snorkel, SUP, kayak ... or just nap on the couch on our top floor deck.

The Finest lives up to its name! The service, food, modern room amenities and grounds, pool and beach, and the kids resort within a resort were all amazing! You can’t go wrong as a family to go here, we all loved it!

We recently enjoyed a week long family vacation at the Finest Playa Mujeres. This was by far the best resort that we have ever visited. The rooms, pools, beach and food were all excellent. The resort truly stands out for their staff - always friendly and hard working, and their kids club, which was amazing. We look forward to returning again soon!

The Finest is an ideal resort for both Adults and Children. We had three generations here, and all enjoyed it. The 'kids club' section had supervised play that the grandchildren enjoyed, and at dinner, there was a games/video/TV room for children available during dinner when adults would extend dinner and children needed their own place. The Buffet provided a broad range of choices, and was superb, featuring the freshest fruit possible. There were too many different specialty restaurants to attend each at dinner over an 8-night stay...and all were great. At the Lobster restaurant, when finished one lobster, everyone was invited to have a second! Our room was a walk-out to a pool, with a massage shower. The walk-out pool had two hot-tub areas attached. All pools and the beach had an unlimited supply of towels and sufficient lounges. The beach was ideal, with water being a beautiful teal colour near shore, and waves muted due to Mujeres island a few miles away. Every where the service was perfect. At night, the music and theatre entertainment was very enjoyable. And the coffee shop, which serviced specialty coffees (with or without alcohol) and assorted treats was a highlight not only for the adults, but also for the grandchildren who (with parental permission) were able to safely go alone and order for themselves This was our second visit, and will not be our last!

This is my third stay at this resort. It does not disappoint and I can’t wait to go back next year. The resort is kept clean and beautiful. The food is fresh, plentiful and a great selection. They have lots of activities to join - yoga, biking, archery, cooking classes. Spa has a wide selection of services and specialize in a unique Hydro Therapy treatment that stimulates your senses from head to toe. The staff are friendly, attentive and pay attention to detail.

The resort was amazing. Great activities for the kids. Food was wonderful. The rooms in Building 4 were musty and damp. The staff will bring a dehumidifier up to your room if requested. Someone in our party had their ring that was not in the same stolen from their room. Everything was wonderful with the exception of the theft. Please keep items on you or in the safe.

The staff at this resort bends over backwards to make the visitor happy. By far the cleanest place you'll ever stay. The food was delicious, the drinks superb, and the service just fantastic. Our only complaint was the floor in the shower. It was extremely slippery when wet. But neither of us fell so, yippee.

Wow a real nice place to spend a family vacation and build memories. Great place great beach great service great food, looking forward to returning in the near future again with whole family and friends

This was hands down the best resort ever! Amazing people, amazing food. It was an amazing experience. The all inclusive package was incredible. It was safe and comfortable. I would go again in a heartbeat!

We just had an incredible family vacation! Beautiful resort, fantastic food, excellent service and a play area for kids of all ages! I would highly recommend this resort especially the swim up pool! It was so nice to be able to do something while our LO napped.

Very impressive resort! My mom and me were really enjoyed this experience! Resort is very well designed &located at the other side of Cancun, much more quiet and relaxed; the resort has a very nice layout, beautiful white sand beach, clean&chic interior design; also, they have friendly and helpful staff; Great selection of restaurants(doesn't request reservation, show up anytime at ur convenience &your choice), room service(included) & bars; they also provide guests daily scheduled &activities to keep your vacation fun & entertained. Definitely recommend anyone to go; well in fact, I've already recommended my colleagues to book the trip ;)

We had the perfect vacation! Enjoyed every aspect of the resort: beach, pools, food, drinks, kids club but mostly fascinated with the Mexican customer service. Special mention to Carlos and Luis, servers from the pools area, Oliver a super nice and friendly bartender, Paulina from The Sweet Corner, the people from the restaurant Legends, Emmanuel from the Kids Club but in GENERAL all the people there who were so nice and polite with us and our kids! THANK YOU. Coming back for sure!

My daughter & I just returned from a fabulous time. We were met at the airport & from then on to almost perfection. We originally booked just the junior suite but upon going down to the beach we realized we would prefer the adult only section. There were so many children around 3 and under. They were basically good - the parents - not so much. We upgraded & moved the next day. Awww bliss. The food was great - lots of choices - gluten free, vegetarian, fried & fattening - French, Italian, Mexican, whatever you wanted and beautifully served. Our rooms were large & decorated sparsely but very tastefully. The bed was so comfy. The staff were so friendly and professional. They remembered our names which just amazes me how they do that. I wrote down their names but lost my paper but it would probably be unfair to single out one or two they were all lovely. The grounds were well kept & my daughter loved the gym. All in all a terrific holiday.

We were traveling on our first international trip with our 7mo old baby. This hotel was perfect for that! There was a heated kids pool, and the ocean waves weren't so crazy that we could go in with baby. The hotel grounds were nice and modern. The staff was amazing. The only drawback for me personally is that you can't see the ocean from many areas of the resort (pretty much all areas except the beach itself or the beach restaurant). We got a swim up room which was ideal with a baby since he could nap inside while we enjoyed the sun with our baby monitor.

My husband and I traveled to many all inclusive resorts but this one is now our favorite. The pick up from the airport was just perfect; on time, in a well air conditioned car, with a well spoken and polite driver -provided by Best Day. The hotel was almost haven...starting with the check in which was quick and smooth and professional.The main hallway and reception look very classy, air conditioned and not crowded. The grounds a well manicured, a classy music plays in the background with a well adjusted volume, the staff are well trained, polite and discrete. I have not seen the maids once in eight days but the room was cleaned once we left the room; I had to go back a few times, in about one hour after we left and the room was already done. The fridge was stocked daily with our preferred drinks - Heineken beer, red wine...we just have to ask for what we needed. The restaurants are amazing - don't worry about reservation, just show up and you will be accomodated, if they were busy they would just tell us when to come back, but this was never more than half an hour later. The Surf and Turf serves lobster and steak to die for, so is the Steakhouse and the French Restaurant is exquisite. All the waiters are again well trained, polite and knowledgeable about the foods and drinks served. The pools and the beach are very nice, I saw them checking the ph of the water in the pool one morning; you can find clean towels everywhere and they are not obsessed with returning them and checking the room number like I've seen in other resorts . They had a few theme nights - Halloween, Mexican and Bollywood - which were perfect in terms of arrangements, music, food and service.

This resort was amazing! Food was great, the service was amazing, and facilities were first class! I would definitely go back to this resort! Also for those who have kids not to worry the Finest has an excellent Kids Club that is fun and engaging.

The grounds were beautiful and beach was clean hourly. The food and service was first class. The room was comfortable and clean. The morning biking was a great start to the day. The beach service was fast.

Everything about this resort is great. It is a more expensive resort and smaller in size but that means nothing too far away. We never had trouble getting into a restaurant or getting lounger in the sun or in the shade at the pool or at the beach. Food was great. Room was great.

Everything was clean and fresh. Staff was everywhere and extremely pleasant. There were always spots on beach or near a pool. There were lots of pools so nothing was crowded. Never a line up at the restaurants either. I believe there were about 11 restaurants. All food was delicious. There was always something nearby and open for eating. Lots of bars around as well. Never had to go far for a beverage. Kids were allowed on this resort but not once were we annoyed. There are some areas for eating and drinking and swimming that was off limits to kids. The rooms were cleaned twice a day. There were also festivities put on nightly and themed meals every other night. Loved the resort. We will be back.

Great organization, Good customer services, plenty of restaurants, Beach is good but needs more cleaning of the ocean beach algae Rooms for elders and families with kid should be given in buildings closer to the facilities.

Truly beautiful and clean! Kids area and adults only areas for all ages. During the slow season, the restaurants do not take reservations so some nights the wait is long, especially when kids need to sleep. The dress code and footwear for the dinner buffet is a bit strict. When rules are made, the hotel should stay consistent and stick to them

This place is amazing...the rooms, the grounds, the food, the drinks, the staff, the pools.... what I would say I liked least about this resort was 1) the beach--there is quite a bit of seaweed and 2) the concept of being a member of the finest club or not-- this is a fairly pricey resort (even if you do not take the finest club package)-- so the fact that non members don't get to enjoy a lot of the perks that members enjoy can sometimes make you feel like a second class citizen....

It was our first stay at this new resort. It is clean, food is very good, beach is great and you can walk for a long time. All is perfect and we plan on going again soon. N.B. rooms maynot be not ideal for persons that are not a family since the shower is a glass shower and that there is no door to the bathroom.

Grounds great. Rooms and restaurants look very cheap/ Ex beds do not have cover. Restaurants look like you are at fast food court..... Most of the restaurants staff do not speak English. Waiting for food is too long.... The staff at Finest Playa Mujeres have a LOT to learn from Excellence Playa Mujeres and The Beloved

This hotel is a delight! Exquisite food and courteous staff. The rooms are spacious, well laid out and contain everything your need. The beach is large and gorgeous with clean clear water & beautiful pools!

Like everyone we were nervous going to a hotel that is so new. We had a small issue when we went to our room and without making a fuss they immediately upgraded us to a swim up room, which was lovely. We where also given a couples massage and hydrotherapy in the spa. The restaurants were all very good and the service outstanding. I give the service and the food a 4 rating only because the buffet wasn't yet up to where the hotel standard should be. Drinks are premium and substatial anywhere you go, even great drink and snack sevice on the beach. Bracelets and towel cards are not required, loved that perk.
