We spent one week at HM Playa del Carmen, The rooms are very clean and comfortable except for odor of mustiness. Amazing personnel, very helpful, answered all our questions. The breakfast was excellent with fresh products, frresh fruits, good coffee, waffles, pancakes, ecerything made daily. Great service, would have liked dining room to be open for lunch or supper. The pool is very beautiful, clean, plenty of chairs and beds. The beach is a 10 minute walk, and I found it was not very good, brown sand, a lot of seaweed, rocky, not the best beach. The hotel is two streets from 5th Avenue, the main shopping area, high end stores and plenty of souvenir shops.

We truly enjoyed are stay here. Cute boutique hotel with nice pool and grounds. Beach not far and towels included daily. Bottles of water in the room every day and really good breakfast. Close to the action of 5th avenue. A lot of good restaurants around. Would definetly return.

Great location. Peaceful oasis close to Fifth Avenue. Very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet was adequate with enough choices to satisfy most people. We were fortunate that the wifi worked fine in our room (118) on the ground floor.

The hotel was modern and clean. Staff were super friendly and very helpful! Loved the pool area and bar area. Rooms were very clean but a bit stark. Dimmers would make all the difference in the eve. Location was so close to 5th ave, restaurants and beaches! breakfast buffet was delicious!! Excellent omelettes and smoothies!!
