This is an extremely beautiful resort. Landscaping is beautiful & is still a work in progress due to some damage from Hurricane Melissa. Food was wonderful but we were disappointed with the steak house. Rib eye steak was almost inedible due to the fat content. Drinks were good and most bartenders knew what drinks were your "usual"! Shout out to Roy Lawrence at the bar near the large pool! Staff were all polite and very helpful. The rooms were a very good size and kept immaculate. They have a magnifying mirror and plenty of towels in the large bathroom. Beds were comfy. Large flatscreen TV (50") but sometimes it freezes up. Due to the fact we are seniors we found the walking from activity and restaurants back to our room quite difficult. Luckily they have golf cart trolleys to take you where you need to go. Due to the massive size of this resort I don't think we would visit again.

Food fantastic. beaches great. service good. just too damn big. without the golf carts it takes 10-15 minutes to get anywhere. the rooms were clean and everything worked great. there should be more elevators around the resort.

Close to the airport with a fast arrival, helpful staff clean rooms great food and drink made for one of our best vacations. Have already recommended to friends and will return in the future. The room was clean and had a wonderful balcony offering excellent views of the resort, beach and pool.

Very clean. Friendly attentive staff. Great food. But I would like more traditional Jamaican cuisine options. Beautiful beach. Clean pool. Great drinks. Safe and trusted staff. Lots of shops close by. Clubs down the street walking distance. Close to the airport. Worth the stay.

Well where do i start. Ok the resort was clean but unkept, there was no eye for detail. Rooms outdated even though it seemed as though it was recently renoed, no dresser to put your clothes, there was a constant hum from the ac unit, apparently they said some part had to be repaired. If the fan was on it would make a creeking sound, so that was off and our towels only got replaced when we complained. As for our beach towels, well they either were out or were closed. One elevator worked out of two so most times we took the stairs and we were on the fourth floor. Food was ok but clearly too much salt at times and the staff, well the staff was not the greatest in the buffet area. Not attentive, at times we stood for 4, 5 minutes before we sat with no one even coming to greet the guests, it just seem unorganized and lacked caring at times. The bars were different they seemed engaged with guests, but the dj quite often played some racially inflammatory music, along with some inappropriate language with young kids about, my wife was not impressed. And finally the entertainment was suspect at best. Would I return, no, sorry I'll pay more next time and stay somewhere else.

It pains me to write this because I had the pleasure of interacting with some truly wonderful staff members during my stay. However, I feel it’s important that management understands the areas where improvement is urgently needed in order to deliver the level of service and quality expected at a resort. Arrival Experience & Room Readiness Upon arrival around 1:00 p.m., I was informed that my room wouldn’t be ready for another three hours. This is simply unacceptable after a long journey and set the tone for a disappointing first impression. Room Conditions & Amenities There was no hot water on the first day, and water pressure remained very low throughout my stay. The phone in the room was not working, which meant I had to walk to the lobby to communicate with guest services. No washcloths were provided, and the towels available were old, worn, and in urgent need of replacement. The front door was damaged, and the lock felt flimsy and outdated. Safety and peace of mind are essential while vacationing. The room layout was poorly configured, especially in regard to electrical outlets. In this digital age, having outlets near the bed for phone charging should be standard. Dining Experience During breakfast, lunch, and dinner, utensils were consistently missing from the tables. Guests should not have to request basic items—cutlery should be set and readily available at all times. Entertainment & Atmosphere The resort lacks visibility and promotion of entertainment activities. There was little to no communication or signage about what was happening onsite, making it hard for guests to engage or plan their evenings. External Vendor Experience The vendors outside the resort were extremely aggressive and made guests feel uncomfortable. This kind of persistent behavior discourages engagement with the local community and can negatively impact tourism. It felt more like harassment than hospitality. Final Thoughts I love Jamaica ?? deeply and always look forward to visiting. However, this resort needs to level up its customer service, room standards, and overall amenities—especially given its proximity to higher-end resorts like the S Hotel. Management should seriously consider revamping the business model, investing in infrastructure upgrades, and prioritizing guest comfort and experience. I truly hope this feedback is taken in the spirit intended: to support growth and improvement. The location and staff have potential, but the execution must rise to meet the expectations of today’s travelers.

I have traveled to Jamaica many times and have stayed in this hotel the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach four times I was very pleased to see the upgrades to the resort key cards from keys and the great new menu at the à la cart as well as the great food at the beach bar Grill an incredible difference from last year. The food is amazing can always find something delicious to eat.There was three of us staying in a room. We left a note for the maid.and never ran out of towels toilet paper or toiletries. We always had a beach towel and always found a beach chair, The beach is beautiful as always and those unbelievable sunsets! The only issues we had were that the boardwalk on the beach has lifted in many places, and my friends toe got caught on the board and she went for a tumble coming very close to the marble walkway that should be replaced and also when I was walking over to get jerk chicken from the barbecue, I injured my foot on the rocks that were sticking up out of the sand. They are very difficult to see so I would recommend that boardwalk to be fixed some extra sand and maybe a sign warning people of the rocks there to wear shoes other than that it was an amazing trip as always thank you so much

The Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach is a fantastic all inclusive for the price in Jamaica. The staff, food, event/entertainment and beach options kept us engaged and helped us wind down for some real rest and relaxation.

Most things were good. There was an issue with hot water, there wasn't any. When you took a shower unless you balled up the bath mat against the shower door water would go every where. We called maintenance, they came and did nothing about it. The shower didn't drain well so that was likely the issue, which with some regular maintenance could be fixed.

The hotel staff were friendly and always cleaning and working to maintain grounds and building. The buffet should offer more child friendly food for dinner as it is a family resort. The entertainment and resort recreational staff were a lot of fun and motivating to join in on trivia aerobics bingo reggae dancing

I came here with two friends for a 30th birthday. We have no complaints and had a great time! The rooms were clean, food had variety and was good, beach and pool were super close and nice. We stayed on the Cornwall Beach side which we enjoyed as it is a little quieter than the Montego Beach side. We did have a lot of fun partying on the Montego side as well! The staff were super friendly and there was something fun going on every night. We also loved the location on the hip strip and enjoyed exploring there. We met a lot of regulars who come to this resort multiple times a year. You won't regret staying here :)

The beach was absolutely stunning! The water was aqua blue and so clear and warm. We were in swimming every day, several times. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They only have 2 A la Carte restaurants but there was a great selection of delicious options at the buffet so no worries there. There were often musicians playing in the room beside the dining room and the music was so nice, just the right volume because they were in the next room. There pool was spotless. Everything in the whole hotel was clean. Evening entertainment in the lobby was wonderful. Later evening entertainment was on the Montego Bay side and we didn’t get over for it as our days were very full and active. Carl took us out for an amazing Hobie Cat ride. Enjoyed that very much. Overall, the Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.

Food was amazing …. People were amazing….minus the not so friendly first experience at the front desk! Where we were late getting a room due to the fact they let another group check out late. And we ended up taking a room with two hard double beds. We ended up pool side and no ocean view which was our request. Other than that everyone was just wonderful. Food and bar service was amazing.

The hotel was very good. Great view from the rooms which were very nice and cleaned daily. Everything is so close including the large beach and ocean. Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, something for everyone. A pizza option and more seafood would be my one suggestion. Anyone looking for a relaxing week whether by the pool or on the beach won't be disappointed. Not much in the way of night life but there is some entertainment and the bars are open.

I heard a lot of complaints from folks, that the coffee was out (for about 3 minutes) to someone who spent 5 minutes complaining about a guest in a bikini top and skirt. So I'll start with the only negatives I saw: 1) a bit of overuse of the megaphone. Not everything needs speakers 2) curtains had some wear and tear with a few holes 3) no toilet paper dispenser 4) paint splatter from previous painting and shower doors didn't close properly. None of these things took away from the fantastic trip we had. The things I loved about the resort were 1) the food! So delicious and varied for an all inclusive. Tea and coffee were always available (there were several places to access beverages) 2) staff were friendly and helpful 3) bed was a king sized with a twin, very comfortable 4) the beach was well maintained, sand was soft, there was a bit of a step up out of the ocean but staff were often rushing to help older folks. The view of the sunsets were amazing. 5) someone was always cleaning at this resort. Everywhere and all the time. 6) entertainment- had some wonderful entertainers, singers. One night they had a non-serious casino (chips only, no money). It was lovely to see the staff enjoying themselves as well, appreciating the singing, sharing proudly their delicious traditional food. This is a place I will definitely recommend and return to. But I suppose for some who has a desperate need for fresh washcloths everyday (they always had towels, we had read we should bring our own wash clothes if we wanted them) or you just had to have a toasted sandwich (many guests complained that they had to toast their sandwiches three times) rather than eat the roast beef, jerk chicken, BBQ fish, a thousand sides, and about 5 different kinds of the most delicious fresh bread, then perhaps you deserve to be disappointed.I was not disappointed and look forward to returning.

Disappointed totally...For 9 days no water pressure so we had to take showers by the pool with shampoo and soap for total hygiene...Told staff at front desk daily and not even offered another room..Management and maintenance staff were aware of issue as an ongoing issue and openly admitted to this .Sunwing and Decameron Cornwall Beach should be ashamed of letting this issue happen since also the Sunwing Rep.was told about this . Totally ruined our 34th wedding anniversary that we worked so hard to save money for .

This hotel has a lot of issues. No hot water, food cold and aways had to ask to have plates replenished. Great location and all rooms face the ocean. I will not return. Staff okay, they did have some really good nightly entertainment.

This is a great locale if you don’t want to be too far away from the airport. Beach is calm and clean. There are enough umbrellas and chairs for everyone who needs/wants one. Hotel is clean. There is a wide variety of food and entertainment is great - especially Dino’s tribute to Bob Marley - way to go Dino! You can go back and forth between the two resorts: Royal Decameron and Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Not kid friendly, no red stripe or any good booze whatsoever, food was terrible and building needed maintenance. Some staff were nice (2/10 staff), cross the street to buy beer or food, 1700 6 pack 300 a beef patty.

The staff that work at this hotel are so fun, kind, and caring. They made our stay so enjoyable. The entertainment staff are an absolute hoot!! The games in the daytime& the shows at night were so much fun. The food was excellent! The beach is absolutely stunning, the snorkeling is fabulous! Such a great place to spend a week!

I was worried because I read a lot of bad reviews on this hotel, but after 9 days at this lovely resort, I will go back. It’s a smaller resort but easy to find everything and easily accessible. I didn’t like the dinner reservation process as you stand in line and hope that there are enough spots available but the buffet was very good and we ate there a lot. Our room was clean and comfortable. The beach is incredible and has amazing snorkelling. Great value for what you pay.

The best thing about this resort was the beach and the pool. But, there was a serious lack of beach/pool area chairs. A few arguments broke out amongst guests. Additionally, some people had chairs reserved with their towels both at the pool area and the beach area. Good luck finding something after 7am. There was no swim up bar at the pool but rather a bar adjacent to the pool. Nowhere in the entire resort were there servers asking if you would like something to drink so everyone wanting something had to self serve at the bars. The beer was from DR, Presedente, served mostly in cheap plastic cups, occasionally in a mug, and on a few occasions in a paper cup. There was some Red Stripe on tap on a few rare occasions. For the most part Presedente was our only choice and we found it not to be tasteful. Wine from the bar in the lobby came in a plastic cup on a few occasions. Unacceptable in my opinion. Our room (1323) on the third floor was, in our view, in a poor state of repair: the bathroom light/fan combination was very loud when turned on. We reported it to the front desk but nothing was done about it. The room ceiling fan was effective, but a bit noisy. The AC did work well but we used it little as it was noisy. There were no patio screen doors so leaving the sliding door open wasn't viable. The room entry door was in poor repair as only one of the two keys we were given worked and the door knob lock was flimsy and loose. There was no security device on the door and there were several holes where perhaps a chain once was. The locking door knob needed larger screws in order to be tightened. The clock in the room didn't work at all. The rainfall shower had minimal pressure, but there was hot water. Baseboards were covered with dirt. The beds (2) were clean and comfortable. There were no drawers just a couple of shelves in the closet area. The room safe worked well. All in all the room wasn't the greatest. I don't think the floors were washed any time the two weeks we were there. That said, the housekeeping staff straightened up the room daily, left water and beer and made sure we had clean bathroom towels every three days or so. The sheets were changed three times. Throughout our stay we left tips on the bed when we wanted fresh towels and the sheets changed. There is one buffet and one a la carte restaurant at the Cornwall Beach side. We ate at the a la carte a couple of times and the salmon was very good. The beef tenderloin was tough and I ate little of it. The buffet was a buffet and as such the food was repetitious, sometimes okay. Morning breakfast was mixed fare and warming trays were no warmer than that. I usually had an omelette (made to order) with some fresh fruit and some bread product of sorts. On a couple of occasions, I was able to snag three slices of bacon from a warming tray. What there was of it was quickly gone. The meals at lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant okay as there was a good selection. Jerk chicken, jerk pork and roast beef were quite common daily along with some kind of fish and vegetables, pasta and rice. We were there for two weeks as I mentioned so we did our best to mix things up to create a bit of a variety. There was some great musical entertainment and dancers in the lobby/bar area near the buffet on a nightly basis which usually started around 7pm or so. There was also some form of entertainment on the Montego Bay side which we enjoyed a couple of evenings. Lots of fun to be had at both. This was my second trip to Jamaica and this resort didn't even come close to where I stayed the first time so I was disappointed given the two week cost of $6,700 for the two of us. Rated at four stars, it didn't live up to it as I have stayed at several four star resorts over the years and found the amenities far better elsewhere. Maintenance for even the most fundamental things was lacking. The fact that there were no servers walking around bar areas, being served poor quality beer in either a plastic or paper cup diminishes the credibility of "four stars." We tipped quite generously in USD even at the bars we queued up to, restaurant servers and housekeeping. Bottom line: we made the best of it as we were simply happy to be together in the sun and away from Ottawa. Would we go back? No! Would we recommend this resort to others? No!

Was not a good experience. People smoked everywhere and I just could not get away from the cigarettes and marijuana scent...had to talk to management as one weekend our room had the smell of marijuana coming through the vent -front desk came up, admitted the to the odor, sprayed with lysol but then I had to be out of the room again. Few times my husband and I sat on the balcony but I had to return inside to get away from the cigarette smell coming from the adjoining balcony. Due to this situation I had headaches for the most part of my two weeks. On the other hand it is a beautiful place, but if you have allergies like I do, you're not going to enjoy yourself. I couldn't stay around the pool long, neither the beach, neither my balcony -and for that Saturday night I had a mask on in the bedroom occupied by myself and husband who does not smoke. The food could be better, was often times short of spoons, but the worst is the health implications.

The grounds were beautiful…sunsets stunning. Food ok, no variety and if you didn’t make the first sitting you were out of luck We moved rooms twice after waiting way past check in …so room….mediocre…no way of getting a spare pillow…after multiple people asking ….3 pillows for two people. Next…no hot water most of the time. Finally we learned that if you run it a half hr it will be Luke warm. The Ala Cartes…line up the day of to get seats 36 only can go. 12 people per sitting. 3 sittings…Had to take second sitting because there were 4 of us…really, smaller tables then first seating…we were fourth in line to book so not because we came late. Anyway, dinner at the ala Cart…I ordered shrimp and scallop linguine….I got shrimp only…salad bar was cleared in the first sitting and no refill. No coffee makers, 6:30 it’s supposed to be out downstairs but was late many days. Had an issue with the fan in out room. Terribly noisy. Nothing done about it…our friends had no safe in their room as the inner mechanisms were missing. Beach towels. Bleach stained thread bare if you could get one. Also ran out of some alcohol…not sure why…There was more but reliving it makes me sad for our money gone.

Small beachfront resort, 2nd time their first time no issues what so ever. They are lacking towels , had 2 bath and 2 facecloths on arrival, never a bathmat. I was aware of this so brought 2 of my own. Used a beach towel for a bath mat as we never received one & shower leaks on the floor. The couple we were with had no towels, pillows , safe was broken & door was damaged and didn't lock properly, they did get a new room on day 3. New room everything worked. They ran out of beer & some mix day 2 but got stocked up again day 4. Our Room had a shower curtain for a door & fridge empty on arrival but received pop and beer day 2 . We only received water twice during stay but always cold water in Lobby. They use to have a local band nightly in the lobby bar which was great. Food was good in the buffet & only did 1 ala cart as they are impossible to get into as only one open at each resort . Over all we had a great time but did notice a difference when we where there last. Company needs to up their supply for staff to give to guests, there is no reason to not have towels, pillows in room & water. If they have no towels to replace what they take they should leave what is there. I did feel for the staff as they did get complaints , but they can only do what they are supplied with. As I said this is the chain issue, or poor management not the staff. Unsure if we will go back or I would recommend to friends. Staff did their best with what they had. First visit 5 stars & this one 3.

This resort is located in the central area of Montego Bay. The location is wonderful, close proximity to the strip & airport. However this hotel could do better, especially in relation to the food. I found the buffet constantly empty and the food wasn’t being replaced (at one point 8 buffet tray warmers were empty by 9am and not replaced before breakfast closed at 10:30). One thing I could say is that the housekeeping staff were incredible and consistent. Food is 3.5 stars Cleanliness 4.5 stars Staff friendliness 4.5 stars Resort rating 3.7

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary June 7-11 and enjoyed our stay. We booked this hotel because of how close it was to the airport and the very reasonable price point. We had read all reviews before arriving, which helped with our expectations. So, to be proactive, we took our own beach towels and sundries but didn't need them. Food was good (be sure to arrive to the dining room on time) but choices were limited. Coffee bar was great! Rooms were very clean and maintained daily but they do not offer a daily towel change, so be aware and plan accordingly. All staff was great and helpful BUT this is not a resort. It is more a hotel which offers some resort like activities. We enjoyed our four day getaway but I don't know that we would return. Simply because we didn't feel safe walking the hip strip and you are limited to the walking you can do on the property.

Smaller hotel with comfortable bed and clean room which look out to the beautiful sea and sunsets. The sea water was clear, calm and warm and we were able to see lots of fishes when snorkelling without having to swim out far. Some beach areas were deeper and others were more shallow which is good for children or non swimmers. The air conditioner, safe, hair dryer, fridge all worked well. There was lots of food to choose from in the buffets so we did not try the restaurants which required reservations. Some servers were very friendly and others were not but they were all working hard trying to keep up. Looks like they could use more staff in the buffets. Did not have to wait long at the bars to be served and many good drinks like mango daiquiri. Nice to be able to use the facilities on both the Cornwall and Montego side. Went shopping on the street and was able to get t-shirts and souvenirs cheaper than the stores in the hotel. Appropriate for all age groups. Some evenings we needed to use mosquito repellent as there were some rainy days.

Hotel was a great all inclusive Resort. Although I made sure I was first in line for every meal, the food was excellent. Ala Carts were delicious as well. Coffee shop should open earlier for us that are early risers, lol. Hotel staff were all friendly, easy to talk to and very helpful. Room was great. Cleaners were in every day cleaning and fridge was replenished with beer, pop and water. As per all reviews, if you want a beach lounge chair should be there by 8 AM. Beach was not the best. Go out 10 feet and it is over your head so not the best for kids, but of course the water is great. Very expensive if you go off the Resort. $ 10.00 US for a bag of chips. Taxi for 2 kms - 20 US so they all try to scam you. If you can put up with the locals on the street trying to sell smoke it is wonderful to walk all the way down town City Center for some history and actual locals in the market. All and All - Great Resort and Great time. ( Take note of date - start of off season which is better )

Enjoyed our vacation to Jamaica and our stay at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Resort. This is one of two properties in the Royal Decameron family. Both are next door to each other and share all amenities. The Cornwall Beach property being the newest one. Nice small hotel, close to airport and beach. Rooms are ocean view, have a small fridge, tv, balcony, safe, but no dresser to put clothes in. They do have a closet to hang clothes also an iron/board. Large pool and Beach Bar, use of kayaks and paddle boards. One thing that we didn’t like was that if you wanted a lounge chair on the beach you need to get up early and place your towels there! Beach is beautiful and the water is clear! One buffet restaurant on property, lots of food choices, coffee bar and lobby bar. One alacarte restaurant that you need to book the day of and line up for by 9am. No Covid restriction. Some staff wear masks, but at their discretion. Yes, we would return.

This hotel was perfect for a getaway. Great food and clean property. Very friendly staff that will go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. The only draw back was the lack of bathing towels in the room. Usually, there were none left after the room was cleaned. We had to call down to request them and even then, it took a bit of time for them to be delivered to the room.

There is nothing good to to say about the manager this hotel. I have been here 4 times and this was the worst. Not enough staff, no red stripe, local rum, bacon, bananas, room towels, beach chairs... Didn't talk to anyone who was happy with this resort.

Stayed at Cornwall Beach section of Royal Decameron. Montego Bay section next door appeared older. Comfortable mid sized hotel on the beach. All units overlook pool and beach. Comfortable spacious rooms; well maintained. Reception staff very helpful. Cafe bar on second floor has best coffee and pleasant staff. Open buffet restaurant with satisfactory variety of food. Mediterranean cuisine la carte restaurant on the water was very good, but be prepared to take your time dining and enjoying the ambience as meals are individually prepared according to your order. Recommend being up at 6:30 to get a reservation. Beach chairs are all taken at first light or earlier but always found chairs poolside, which is next to beach anyway. Large pool which isn’t used much. Fun activities for adults. Bar and restaurant staff were a bit inattentive. Overall we had an enjoyable 7 day stay - sun and surf in January. Most staff and patrons were unmasked but all tables in buffet restaurant were sanitized after use and marked as such after cleaning. Hand sanitizing for buffet restaurant was strongly enforced. Buffet utensils were commonly used.

Booked this hotel because of previous Pre- Covid good reviews and liked the idea of a smaller and more intimate feel all inclusive resort . The most recent reviews are not to be taken lightly as they definitely reflect the true picture of what is going on at this resort ! Although for most part the staff do their best in what looks like difficult circumstances , entertainment team are fabulous ! There is a constant issue with basic requirements ie towels in your room are taken but never replaced ,towels are limited and run out quickly in pool and beach area , buffet has limited food supplies and staff seem stretched beyond limits so it’s hard to keep up with refilling ,and cleaning tables and seating families so queues are so long in the evenings . Staff were actually physically fighting in the buffet area ! I had spoken to what I thought to be a manager on a daily basis about the frustrating issues of never having towels in your rooms and not alone with this one , always angry customers in reception area yelling about the same issues , but the problem was never resolved , so my feel is this resort is badly managed !

We had room on the top floor, the AC didn't work and the ceiling fan sounded like it was falling out of the roof. Our railing on the balcony was the only one in the hotel that was missing a support bar on the outside of rail. We asked at 9 am to change rooms and were told we had to check out at 11 am. We were the first on the list to get a room and it would be ready for noon. I said I did not want to waste the day waiting around and asked if we could have one sooner. The girl then said we would have to wait and check in at 3 pm. We left our luggage in our sisters room and went to the strip to do some shopping. When we got back there were several people in line getting rooms assigned. I asked for mine and was told check in was 3 pm. (It was 2). The ported (great guy) asked if I was ok and I told him my problem. He went to speak to her and she yelled and smacked her hand "3 PM CHECK IN FOR HER". I told him she was just being difficult and didn't like me. He went and told her to give me a room .. she literally reached behind the desk and threw keys on the counter. The porter took us to our room!!! She was horrible.... The new room had black mold on the inside of the curtains but I didn't dare ask to be moved again so we stayed away from the curtains!!!!

This was our 4th and final visit to Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach. Had no air conditioning for 8 days. The phone in our room never worked (really missed it as we were a group of 14). The fire alarms went off every night a few times. They ran out of white wine AND red stripe beer, serving Dominican beer as a substitute. Food was good, but presented poorly. Staff was very accommodating, management was very disrespectful and did nothing to address our concerns after MANY complaints!!! Would NOT recommend this resort to ANYONE.

Just returned home Dec 1 2022 from royal decameron Cornwall Beach. Many original employees and met the new ones. Food great and good variety. Rooms maintained and cleaned as they were pre-covid. Several sanitize stations throughout and all food preparer wore masks. No issues with Beach towels. In bed early so cannot comment on night shows. Beach area very clean. Bars fully stocked. Manager and general manager very visible and ready to address any concerns or suggestions. My 8th time at this resort and will continue to recommend it. It remains a 4 star hotel in my opinion, but give it 5 stars for this rating. My only negative comment is they now allow the decameron resort next door full access to the beach, bar, and food service. During busy times, this may be a problem for Beach spots and chairs. During my stay it was not a problem. I have read several bad reviews from previous months, but did not find them to be true. I will return in February... I hope. Steve McGregor Hamilton, Ontario

The resort was “ok”. Buffet repeated itself and there are only 2 a la carte restaurants that do not change their menu. Bottled water is extremely hard to come by … the room fridge was sometimes stocked however only 2 cokes, 2 beer and maybe 2 bottles of water. Bathroom towels were also scarce. Calling the front desk, although very nice - your request was never actioned. We had no wifi in our room and yet everywhere else on the property was fine.

The hotel was situated on a beautiful beach with white sand and clear water, really close to the airport. You can sit there all day and just watch the planes come in. Very peaceful. It was not overly packed, so there was no need to fight for beach chairs in the morning or line up at buffets. All the rooms were beach front. What the hotel lacked was the food. They are always out and they don't replenish. I've never been to a resort where at a la carte restaurant, they only had 3 of the 8 selection available. Nor have I ever seen them run out of bacon at 8am, when the restaurant opened at 7. Also, having been to Jamaica multiple times in the past; there have always been a jerk hut that gave you jerk chicken and fries for 2/3 hours a day. This resort did not have much local food. Other than their Jamaican night". Overall it was an ok trip. Would I recommend it to others, I guess it would depend on why you are there - if you don't care about the food and is there for the beaches, I would definitely suggest it. But if you are going to enjoy the food, then no.

This resort is an older property needs major updating to rooms bathrooms the water doesn't flow properly the shower leaks on to the floor outside! Lighting is poor on vanity sad looking vanity and sinks ! Outside the gardens need new plants paths are uneven and broken . Pool area needs major improvement bar is tiny long lineup for drinks staff is amazing though 👌 the cushions and seating is worn out and thin you can feel the hard seat through the tatty old cushions! Dining area really bad seats needs new furniture throughout not much options for food very limited dishes same everyday almost,if you need a coffee it's very hard to get one in the evening coffee bar closes really early and non in dining room in evening. Specialty restaurant very small choice of dishes wine is absolutely awfull no one was drinking it after they tried it once ! The worst I have ever tasted 😩 The only thing that made it okay was the staff ! Beach staff excellent! Entertainment staff great as well as all the serving staff and cleaning staff thanks to them for making my stay enjoyable

My husband and I went to this hotel from the 7th-11th of April. The good things about the hotel are 1) They have a drink menu with some awesome drinks 2)Entertainment Crew was great 3)The beach is absolutely beautiful 4) Pool is very nice 5) Resort is clean 6) Food is great and nice variety 7) Love the Coffee Bar above the lobby. Now to the negative parts and reasons why I would not return here. From when we landed we expected to have a shuttle to the hotel and did not, even though upon booking it said transportation to hotel was included. We ended up having to pay for a taxi. When we asked the hotel they said I would need to call tripcentreal for reimbursement. Then at the hotel gate they could not find our booking. Later at the front desk they managed to find us. My husband and I love to play sports, and this resort does not have a soccer field, tennis court, or volleyball court. They do have a basketball court for which they don't have balls for (but they sell them at the store...?) and they installed a badminton net at volleyball net height (also no volleyball even if you wanted to make due). The attitude from the majority of the workers here was poor and unfriendly. I do want to shout out to Arlando, Shamoya and Tameka who made our stay so much more enjoyable, they honestly went above and beyond. In our room the fan made so much noise that we thought it was going to fall on us so we turned it off right away after turning it on. I also think the AC thermostat did not work because if we turned it on it would get way too cold. So most of the time we had it off. The stocked fridge included 2 waters, 2 beers and 2 cokes which were not always all replaced. We didn't get to book the restaurant AT ALL because they only took same day bookings and by 7:40am it was booked up. I found this unfair, everyone should be able to enjoy one day at the restaurant. The snack bar almost NEVER had jerk chicken, and the one time my husband got upset they called us back and a plate magically appeared. My husband and I were really looking forward to a massage on the beach, but they were not offering any spa services. Instead they directed us across the street, which we did not go. We also won two games and when we went to claim the prizes the day we left they gave both of us one small bottle to share, when they were handing out 9 bottles on the beach for peoples birthdays the day before. They offered us the bottle of champagne INSTEAD of the small bottle of rum. Not a place for kids, this resort is for older people that want to lay on the beach or around the pool all day. I have stayed at RIU Ocho Rios before and I would have preferred to pay the extra $300 and have an amazing stay. Looking at going back later this year with our kids to Beaches Boscobel, Ocho Rios. We also wasted $80 on the rapid test in Canada because no where did they ask us for it, but I did hear from other guests at other resorts that they were asked so get it just incase.

Travelled late February 2022. Resort staff - in a word Excellent. Genuinely friendly. Always eager to a assist with any issue. COVID - resort was very diligent in cleaning, disinfecting and ensuring staff and visitors followed covid protocols. The resort - 4 minutes from the airport. Every room has a ocean view. Beach is beautiful. Smallish resort so everything is a short walk away. Food - Buffet was very good, always lots to choose from. The a la cart restaurants where excellent. Highlight - Staff, beach and food!

The resort was very clean and we saw constant cleaning and sanitizing going on during our visit. Room were clean and comfortable and most staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The food was terrible (dried out meats and fish), not much choice of vegetables and at breakfast, alot of the time there was no bacon and if you wanted an omelet, hardly any mushrooms onions etc were available. The evening entertainment was next to nil and done by 10PM We were under the impression that we could go next door to the sister resort for lots more entertainment and restaurants. That resort was closed down! Don't waste your money.

The food was not so good. Whole resort was very clean. Stuff was usually polite. Drinks were amazing. The beach was incredibly clean, water was unbelievable. Mediterranean Ala carte restaurant menu was poor and the food was not tasty.

Lovely well maintained property with good beach, close to the airport. Buffet food is always good and has something for everyone. Hotel staff is exceptional! Friendly, helpful, always smiling and willing to help or do whatever is necessary to make you happy and comfortable. This was my third time at this resort and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I look forward to my next visit.

I never have a complaint about about this resort. The employees are true to the heart. The food is ALWAYS fantastic! We had one day of bad weather, but the staff ensured we had a good time with song, dance, and of course plenty to drink and eat.

Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Resort is very welcoming, accommodating, and wheel chair accessible. All rooms with balconies are in an awesome location viewing the gorgeous turquoise with various blue colour hue shaded waters of the Caribbean Sea. There is a large pool, and a shallow section pool for children, with shade or sun areas throughout daylight hours, which are surrounded by plenty of lounger chairs with sunbrellas. Large sandy beach/sea has palapas and many loungers. Absolutely delicious food choices for every appetite at each meal. Delicious alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and tropical beverages Commend all staff for their professionalism. Good security. This smaller sized hotel meant no line ups at meals and bars. Great location 10 min from airport and walking distance to the “hip strip”. Loved that all the rooms had an ocean view! Food was plentiful with lots of choice for all tastes.

I have just returned Nov 19, 2019 and continue to enjoy this resort for its clear beach water, nice pool, excellent food and bar, but especially the employees! New management since January of this year (my last visit), and Andrea Clarke hotel manager, Victor regional manager, and Mr Hamilton Food services are very committed to maintaining the high standards that Decameron resorts have always had. I recommend this resort, and look forward to my next visit in January 2020!.

Travelled with a group of 40 people for a 50th celebration. It was amazing!!! Clean fresh rooms, friendly staff, delicious food including lovely local dishes and plenty of jerk. All rooms have an ocean view, pools clean and beach stunning 5/5. Smaller bay style beach,but stunning white sand and the most turquoise water. Highly recommend this spot. Ya Mon!!!!

This was my first time staying on this resort and i had low expectations before arriving. However, this was by far the best resort i've been to in Montego Bay. Its right on the hipstrip close to the casino, margaritaville, and everything else. The food was amazing and always had a variety of options since we have access to the older resort (which actually has great amenities as well). The pools were cleaned every day and are in great shape and rarely ever busy. The beach was perfect, except it's a little rocky (but that's somewhat normal for beaches). The staff was accommodating and very kind. The only thing that i had a slight problem with was that service at times could have been better. At other resorts, i was used to having staff bring drinks to the pool and beach areas - this wasn't the case, so it took some getting used to. The rooms are beautiful and all oceanfront! Also, the resort had something for all ages (young adult/adult/senior). Overall, it was a great vacation and definitely exceeded my expectations.

Right from check in we were welcomed with a drink. Check in was very quick. Food selection was great and varied day to day. Beach was loveley with shade always available.Customer service manager supplied a fruit plate and champagne to help celebrate our anniversary. Rooms are large and clean with great ocean views. Kem at the lobby bar is amazing as well as the lady bartender at the pool bar. This is a small resort with everything close at hand. Coffee bar was great. Overall a wonderful resort with very personable staff.

This place was a delight to stay there the rooms were very Spacious with everthing you need and if it not there they will be more then willing to cater to your ever needs. The food was so exquisite, and there was so much to choose from .they had dishes for the young to older ones like myself .I just loved trying things for my firest time . Boy was it all great I do say so myself.The only thing I had a proublem with, was hard to connect to there internet other then that I'd give it a 41/2stairs .

This is the best resort I have ever stayed at! The beach is stunning and well kept. The rooms and public areas are immaculate. The food is delicious and plentiful. There are many activities all day long so you never get bored. The staff are super friendly, especially Genius Williams in the kitchen who always had a huge smile for us. I would definitely visit this resort again.

The hotel grounds are compact which is fantastic. The bar, restaurant, pool, beach and activities are all within the same vicinity. The entertainment staff were amazing as were the land and water sport staff. The restaurant and bar staff were well-mannered, very polite and genuinely nice people.

We just got back from our third year in a row and we will definitely return. The staff offer friendly, welcoming greetings each time we go. Check-in is so easy. Rooms are clean and comfortable. What a super view of Montego Bay! The beach is clean, the many cabanas offer shade, and the water is perfect for taking a dip. A wide selection of water sports are offered. So much fun! There are so many entertainment activities to enjoy - aquafit, bingo, golf, bocce ball, dancing, and more. The entertainment staff are fabulous! There's a wide variety of food, the service is warm and friendly, and the bartenders offer specials, or your choice.

Royal Decameron cornwall beach was an exquisite experience with the beautiful beach fancy room and amazing food i would recommend this facility to everyone. The entertainment staff really make your experience a special one. The staff were very polite and accommodating

Stayed April 7 to April 14, 2019. Very nice resort, rooms were nice, staff very entertaining, close to Hip Strip. The beach small but lovely. Pool was beautiful. Snoop at the pool bar was a hit! Only problem was leaving! :)

This was the smallest resort we’ve stayed in to date... it was great, really enjoyed it. Everyone was extra friendly, amazing food. You can see a big difference in the sister resort (Montego Bay Beach) as that is more of a party resort. Bar service was slow All over it was a great trip.

The hotel is very nice, although there are huge differences since we were there last year eg. they ran out of beer several times a day at either bar food was far better last year more of a selection for people who dont enjoy spicy foods or a lot of fish. Dont get me wrong I enjoyed myself, the staff is amazing especially Kem Rio Travis Richele and Snoop. Will I return again probably not

The Hotel was great - staff, rooms, food and of course the entertainment all the time. My husband's first time on a resort all inclusive and he thought it was an amazing location for him as he can't walk too far and the size of this resort was perfect for him. the staff were very helpful in getting us a room close to the elevator. only small thing I would change is a shelf in the shower to hold your soap/shampoo/facecloth - there was one very small one. we also had to move one of the waterproof chair into the shower for my husband to sit while he showered (didn't ask at the desk if they had bathtub chairs). ..

we loved the fact the resort was not too big,the beach was so close and again the staff were amazing.the entertainment at the pool bar was great along with the bar tenders the were so on top of their game all quite friendly made you feel like family.the buffets were good food was delicious .the nightly entertainment was great we loved the steel drum band,also did i mention jamaica is amazing i would love to go back to royal decameron the hospitality is out of this world,the ground keepers were great at keeping everything done including raking the beach daily,the pool was amazing we enjoyed the daily aerobics it was good.gift shop on sight and travel agents were very helpful i would give this resort a ten out of ten already saving to go back,when we were leaving we all got a hug and a hand shake they wished us a safe flight and you could tell they were sincere we were not bothered at all by the vendors on the beach the security kept that under control at all times.the rooms were cleaned daily and the bar fridge was kept well stocked the view from the room was amazing not to mention we had the large room with a wrap around balcony what a bonus pool bar games were fun the guys kept everyone on their toes this surely is a resort i would highly recommend to my friends and family for sure.the walk up the hip strip was very safe and delightful no lack of shopping for sure we were treated with respect on and off the resort that means a lot when travelling never a lack of towels when you wanted to turn them in for clean ones that was great.

Hotel was clean and nice. Not enough seating for dinner or shows. Ac was spotty. Food was ok but not enough. Pool and beach were beautiful. Quick ride from airport. Daily entertainment was enjoyable. Unfortunately they kept running out of things.

Clean comfortable rooms, great pool, superb staff who go out of their way to accommodate and remember you name, drinks and preferences. Very good food/drinks. Very good bands and entertainment. Very nice grounds with good landscaping.

Love the location and all oceanfront rooms. Food was delicious, resort was clean and staff friendly. Rooms were modern with flat screen tv, bathroom was large with rain head shower and maid did an excellent job. So convenient being right on the hip strip.

This Resort was small, easy to excess all of the grounds. Needs more entertainment. Did not like being approached by staff upon reaching resort while waiting for check in. Asking if we'd mind going to sister resort next door, which I had been in past. I waited 2 years to finally get to go to Cornwall Beach, and was not happy to be asked to change. Which ended in our favor. When I book a resort it is because I wanr to go to it. Not another. But overall it was a good stay. Not sure I'd return, because fear being possibly relocated. Was happy with all the staff and beds and room were awesome💥👙👣✌

Beautiful quaint little resort. Very personalized, great staff, nice rooms and good food! The beach was fantastic, very well manicured every morning and great for snorkeling. Shamala at the lobby bar was amazing and attentive to all.

The beach area is awesome and perfectly clear water. No seaweed either. Food was great with good variety! I was at the same resort 5 weeks ago, and they all remembered me and made me feel VERY welcome. If I was not going to Mexico in 8 weeks, I would be going back to this resort!. I guess i'll have to wait till the fall... BTW.... the resort 4 minutes from the airp

What are fun resort!! The staff are all amazing and fun! The beach was good and the water was so clear. Not a long beach to walk on if you like your morning walks. The grounds were kept very clean as well as all the bar areas. A special thank you to Odean and Santana and Jenesha in the buffet area 😘 And also to 2 amazing bar staff Kem and Snoopy. Poochee in entertainment is also amazing! Would I go back to this resort??? Yes in a heartbeat!

Ideally located 10 min from airport. Small compact design with everything you need to enjoy a week of relaxation. Excellent food with strong Jamaican influences. Large room, excellent balcony with amazingly close views of ocean. Very good coffees and also snorkelling 20 feet off the beautiful beach.

Everything was great! Location from airport, super cozy rooms with ocean views and decor. Buffet and a la carte restaurants were fantastic. Staff was overall friendly...and the resort aimed to please the guests with special details like Champaign on the beach in the evening, coconut drinks cut open during the day, prizes and excellent bar food. Also, we were there on Christmas eve and the food presentation was over the top!! They really went above and beyond. Use Latty's Adventure Tours for your transfer and excursions and you won't be disappointed.

Fairly new resort with nice, clean, all ocean view rooms! Food excellent and bar service awesome. NO seaweed on beach!!! Beautiful pool and all of the bartenders/staff VERY friendly. The employees REALLY make a great effort to ensure your happiness. Only 4 minutes from airport!!!!!!!! I will go again BUT for more than 1 week next time. I was there Nov. 22-29 Steve McGregor

Resort was quite nice. Rooms were very simple, clean and comfortable, including the king bed. Only bedside tables and a closet for clothes. No coffee maker in room, but I travel with a tea and a kettle :) Note that the coffee bar is not open for early risers. Balcony door never closed or locked properly but since we were on the third floor it wasn't really a concern for us. All rooms oceanfront which was amazing, but if you want sun you have to book a room with a higher number - we were in 1309 and never had sun on the balcony - need to go to the other side of the hotel. All the hotel staff were great - friendly, helpful and they all worked hard. Food was the one thing that wasn't fabulous at the resort. There were not a lot of choices available, and food was not topped up when it was empty. Found the buffet at the Montego Bay was better than at Cornwall Beach. Both a la carte restaurants had nice meals, but had a bit of difficulty booking them -- closed on certain days and booked. Can only book it the day you want to have dinner. You won't starve, but if you are used to going to larger resorts with many food choices, be aware that you won't get that here. Enjoyed a different drink of the day every day at the bar. Didn't like that on several days most beach chairs were reserved with towels and couldn't get a spot at the beach at 8 am ... had to go to the pool and move to the beach later once something available. You can go the beach at the other property but it is not nearly as nice and does not have good access. Other property does have swim up bar however. Hotel close to airport - just 5 minutes away, and on the Hip Strip. Not much on it but touristy stuff - not a lot of choice of places to stop somewhere for a meal and a beer. Usain Bolt's restaurant right next door. Enjoyed a drink there while looking at all his memorabilia and a massive curved television at the bar. We had a wonderful holiday at Cornwall Beach. A week of rest, relaxation, swimming and great weather. We weren't looking for a party vacation, so the hotel suited us fine. Much smaller hotel than what we are used to, so might be good choice for some, but not for others. May recommend the hotel depending on what you are looking for in your vacation.

Perfect size. Grounds lovely. Would go back.food was ok. Breakfast bar was good. Disappointed with your choice of white wine, not good.there was no Canadian rye whisky. Drinks of the day very good. Staff were amazing, they were great. I would recommend it to friends.

My husband and i traveled to Royal Decameron Cornwall beach from October 13th to October 18th. We flew with Air transat and were delayed by about 3.5 hours, missing the dinner buffet. It wasn't a big deal because the snack bar had just opened for the night. We were offered the following menu items: Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Jerk chicken, Jerk Pork and French Fries. Our room was clean, A/C worked perfectly and the room had the most amazing view (which we got to see the next morning). The bathroom is nice and large, but every time someone showers the water gets everywhere. It wasn't a big deal because we just soaked up the water with our used towels, but I could see how others would be annoyed by this. Let me just say that the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a great sleep experience. Food was good. Not great, but good. I thought that there was pretty good variety at the buffet, food always seemed fresh, and I never had an issue finding something that I wanted to eat. My highlights were the pork chops at dinner, omelette station and bacon in the morning, and the oxtail at the Jamaican a la carte. We only went to one of the a la carte restaurants, and it was quite good. I heard that the other a la carte was very good as well. The resort grounds are kept very clean and nice. The pool is immaculate and the water was always the perfect temperature. The beach was beautiful; soft white sand, warm water, etc. It's a smaller beach, but that didn't bother us at all. This is not the resort for you if you are looking for a party atmosphere directly on the resort. The resort was very quiet after 10 or 11PM. You can access the disco, but we never did. The other option you have is going to the hip strip and partying off of the resort. There is a free shuttle that will take you. Overall, we had a really great stay at this resort. We wanted to relax and enjoy some drinks and food and that is exactly what we did. This resort isn't luxury or overly fancy, but it is very nice and a good bang for your buck.

We stayed at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Fromm July 14-21. We were not disappointed! The rooms were clean and spacious, fresh food, and wonderful entertainment. We would go back in a heartbeat!

It was a nice quiet resort which is just what we were looking for on this trip. Rooms were always nice and clean but some days we did not get hand towels or bath mats. All the servers were friendly. Surprised that there were only 4 umbrellas on the pool deck. The pool is in full sun all day, so if you did not get out before 5:30 am you would not get an umbrella at the pool. Food selection was okay, not a big selection but what was presented was good. The last two days the selection was quite poor as it appeared they had run out of a lot of the basic food choices. Local entertainment was great.

We did not find one thing wrong with this resort!!....From our arrival until we left everything was great.......The reception staff, housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff and the entertainment team were amazing.......The resort and beach area was well maintained and clean......There was always a good variety at the buffet and each day there was a meal theme.....Would recommend this resort to couples and will vacation there again..............

This was my favorite vacation of all times and we are seasoned travellers. Everything about this small resort was absolutely wonderful from the rooms to food and the amazing staff to name a few Rio Stacey Travis Kem Anonette, and many more they made our vacation so enjoyable. We will definitely be going back

We had an awesome week at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach. Great view of the beach, and the sunsets are beautiful! Always chairs available on the beach or by the pool. The public areas and washrooms were always clean. We had great service the whole week, loved the staff!!! The food at the buffet was very good!!! The a la carte in both resorts were alright... At the Decameron one, I had the steak and it was very tasty, my boyfriend had the seafood pasta and he thought it was just OK. Overall this is the best resort we've stayed in!!!

We had a great time at this resort. It was very relaxing and the staff were very friendly. Good selection of food and drinks throughout the day. The night life isn't the nest but everything else was perfect!

Generally the resort was large and well maintained. The hotel too was spacious and service was excellent. Dining areas were clean and servers pleasant, engaging and eager to please. The beach area was large and the Caribbean sea a wonder to behold. Swimming, snorkeling and boating were easily accessible and fully enjoyable in and on the clear blue water. That was a big plus and worth going to Montego Bay for. Dining was excellent with a large variety of foods. A couple of a la carte restaurants completed the choices for pleasurable eating. Royal Cameron is a great choice for enjoyment in the Caribbean.

We have travelled to Jamaica 6 times now. Previously we have stayed at Couples, Jewel, Grand Paladium. First I have to say that this resort is small. Therefore the selection at the buffet is limited and there is only one a la carte. You can also eat at the a la carte on the neighboring property. We only ate at the a la carte once due to the food at the buffet being very good. The staff are excellent. We are 'beach people' and didn't spend much time at the one pool. The beach is very nice and we could see many fish when we went snorkelling inside the bouy line. The entertainment was also good. The rooms are nice but there are no dressers to put your clothes in. The location is great, only about five minutes from airport. You do see and hear the planes but they don't seem to fly at night. This resort is the best value of any that we have stayed at in Jamaica.

This Resort is Top Notch from the Views of of every room to the personal service they provide.The resort is in pristine condition at all times with there amazing and friendly staff that go above and beyond The food is definately a hit as well as the nightly entertainment Thumbs up and 5 star in our books

I absolutely love this resort!!!! Loved the staff, they were willing to help and did so with a warm Jamaican smile. The food was delicious, varied every day with local dishes that were spiced just right. The rooms are very clean and update.

The staff are super friendly and always helpful. The food is excellent mostly traditional Jamaican cuisine which I love. The beach is great. The pool is beautiful and really well maintained. The rooms are very nice as well.

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Royal Decameron Cornwall. Pictures and videos online rarely if ever do the real life experience any justice, and it definitely held true this time around. The beach, rooms, food, staff service etc. all exceeded my expectations. Great trip.

This was my second trip to the Decameron Cornwall Beach. I love that it is a small resort. Not a complaint in the world about the room, the beach, the pool, the food and the bars. What will bring me back to this resort again is the absolutely amazing staff! They are all friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after and have everything you need. We have absolutely no complaints. The hotel, grounds beach food and staff are unbelievable. The weather during our visit was a steady 87c with only an occasional spotty cloud . Great for tanning. Montego Bay is a friendly area with everyone willing to make your stay more enjoyable. We would return in a wink.

The resort was great, the room was big and clean, beds were very comfy and made daily, received clean towels daily and the little fridge was always filled with water,pop and beer. We had a private beach which was clean daily but the only thing that bothered me was the rocks but once u past them it was clear . The food was amazing, enough said on that subject. The grounds were clean and the view from are balcony was beautiful . All in all it was worth it .

The ocean view from our fourth floor balcony was amazing. The grounds were well maintained. The pool was long enough to do lengths. There’s no shortage of beach chairs. The buffet restaurant was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I enjoyed a lot of the Jamaican food they introduced . Most of the staff members were very accommodating. The animation team was very friendly and lots of fun. Snorkeling off the beach was good when the ocean was calm. We enjoyed our stay. We only wish that the guests would smoke their cannabis a little more discretely.

This resort was very small with limited activities and dining opportunities. One al-a-cart restaurant which had to be booked daily. The weather dictated whether this al-a cart restaurant would open as it was the "beach grill" converted into a restaurant in the evening. Unfortunately, the weather was not ideal during my time. Some staff were very friendly however, some of the staff at reception were "stand offish" and not welcoming of guests questions. This resort was situated very close to the main road in Montego Bay and I prefer to be further back from traffic. On the plus side, all rooms had an ocean view and you did not hear the traffic from the main road. The beach was not cleared of ocean debris on a daily basis discouraging time at the beach. The buffet did not have authentic Jamaican food yet they attempted to do so.

Hotel is new and showing no ware, The rooms all have a ocean view and a good one not partial. The food was always good with a lot of choices. The employees are pleasant and always busy doing something. The beds were comfortable with decent linens. Bathroom was nice with big shower and lots of hot water. Beach was beautiful but short. Hotel is only 5 minutes form airport.

My husband and I had the pleasure of going to this resort Feb 1-11 and we are so glad we did. Here are some pros and cons (the cons are few!) Pros: 1) The food is excellent! From the breakfast buffets to the beach grill, one will never go hungry. There is always something fresh on the menu. The a la cart was so good too! We recommend the beef tenderloin and the salmon. 2) The rooms are big, airy and so clean. The bed is comfy too. The fridge is stocked daily with pop, water and Red Stripe beer. 3) The grounds and pool are spotless! 4) There are always more than enough sunbeds to go around. Loads of shade due to the construction of the hotel. Half the pool is in the shade all day long so you'll never get sunburned (unless you want to lol) 5) The bar staff in both bars and the drinks are top drawer. They really try hard to be creative with their mixed drinks, their shots and the bartenders antics. They are such a fun bunch and will try hard to make you smile 6) The support staff - from the front desk all the way to tour agents, everyone has one goal to make you relax and enjoy your holiday. Cons 1) The sunbeds at the beach have seen better days. They really need replacing. 2) There really needs to be handrails on the steps around the pool, the bar and leading to the beach. I realize there are ramps but they still need banisters on the steps. And there really needs to be a complete handrail in the pool instead of the half rail that's there now. 3) The beach sand is beautiful and loads of shade, palapas and beach tents so lying on the beach is a pleasure. However, be aware that there is a steep hill of sand to get to the water and when you do, there's a further drop into the water. It's not a place for kids. I'm 5' 6" and by the time I got on solid ground in the water, it was up to my shoulders. This is not the hotel's fault - mother nature is what she is! :-) I would not hesitate to go again and I would also recommend it to my friends. Britney at the front desk is wonderful. She helped allay my fears of the state of emergency in MoBay leading up to the trip. She was right! I felt just as safe and welcome as I always do in MoBay. So if you're going to book this place run, don't walk!!

We really enjoyed the new clean facilities. Everything was close and convenient. Beautiful time...Big thank you to Janeesha the best waitress in Montego bay.Nice staff and activities..food was plentiful but not outstanding..overall amazing time will go again...not crowded..just right..close to airport....ya mon!!!!

We were happy with the grounds and the excellent view off our balcony. The food was excellent as was the service at the buffet and the bar. The beach was good. The shows nightly were fantastic. The other guests at the resort were so fun and we all enjoyed the week.
