Everything you wanted and more. The room was huge and amazing. Food was 5 stars and the drinks keep coming. You are steps away from the blue water beach with relaxing spots to be in the sun or not. Would go again

March 5-12, 2026. My first visit to a resort. We were greeted by Alex our concierge, He proved to be amazing and made our trip so relaxing… A daily update on what was available, his hours and we saw him everyday. Next visit I will definitely request Alex. There is so many choices of restaurants… the French restaurant had the best steak.. The donuts in the Strip Grill for breakfast are the best donuts that I have ever had. I would love the brand or recipe..(hint). Unfortunately we had a very windy week, so we couldn’t go deep sea fishing. The beach is wonderful, I could have just sat enjoying the sound of the waves, pelicans and the people enjoying the waves. No Sargassum, very few people selling on the beach. If you just say no they do not bother you. I would recommend paying the extra for Xhale, the Xhale lounge is amazing and the staff are fabulous. If you have the opportunity to see Sam (singer) at the lounge. He was amazing. The rooms were big, very clean and well taken care. Thank you Manuel.

Traveled with my sister, brothers and their wives and some friends to celebrate various occasions. Wonderful resort with fabulous buffet at Spoon for every meal - tons of options beautifully presented, especially the dessert station. Great and helpful staff everywhere - activities people, wait staff, housekeeping, groundskeepers, etc. Best meals at French restaurant, Coquette, and Culinaria (continental). Room was always clean, good size w 2 double beds, big bathroom with huge shower, double sinks, separate toilet..we had garden view. Beach was great and could walk in either direction for over an hour each way..Breathless is in a bit of a cove so waves were less predominant than other resorts we passed, and very little seaweed/sargassum. Windy so only parasailing going on for a couple of days, but very sandy. Reefs not far out from shore so some people were snorkeling. The party pool was a party pool with younger crowd, but main pool closer to the beach was quieter. If you choose Pool View for a room, might want to be sure it's facing the main pool, as very noisy on the balcony if you are opposite the loud party pool during the day. Was great to have access to the Dreams Onyx, especially for the lazy river and slides. All in all, an excellent experience and surpassed our expectations.

Very clean,wonderful staff and excellent variety of food! Beautiful beach,lots of activities to do. Lots of restaurants to choose from too. Entertainment was top notch and loved their costumes! Would go again.

The resort is beautiful. Staff very helpful and seem to be happy at their jobs. The common areas are well maintained. The pools are very clean. The beach area is great, lots of chairs and space, clean. The buffet is incredible. Some of the restaurants are great, a couple need some attention. The rooms are clean, well maintained, stocked, comfortable. The only negative would be to avoid weeks of college break, the resort is overrun with large groups of college students. Few nights of young people yelling and fighting in hallways, although the resort had extra security and did try to keep it under control.

Everything was perfect From the people to beach ⛱️ And Everything in between!!! Having access to dreams onyx the family side was great. The Waterpark with the slides & lazy river..restaurants was an added bonus.

Absolutely no complaints about Breathless Punta Cana. Far exceeding our expectations. The food is delicious and a wide variety of options. The resort is very clean. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The beach is quiet and serene if you like peaceful vibes. The pools are more high tempo if that’s your thing. The place is really well kept, staff speaks very good English. Food was excellent including the coffee. Very clean rooms, but it is somewhat of a party place. One needs to escape to the beach to have some quiet time outside between 9Am to 6 pm. The entertainment was really loud in the evening and very modest in the quality of the performance. I had to ask to review the sound quality since you can hear high level of bass (distorted) up to the beach. And with in 2 days the issue was solved.

This is a must visit place to go. The rooms are comfortable. The swim out room was worth the upgrade. Everything is beautiful and upkept well. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. Food was amazing. Visit the French and Strip for a la carte restaurants for sure.

The hotel name was Punta Cana Princess- not Breathless.... Beautiful grounds, pool and ocean. Great restaurants, selections and food. Rooms are dated, and overdue for remodelling and repairs needed. A leaking toilet above my friend’s room, flooded the bathroom- solution was a bucket to catch from drip. Unused jacuzzi, and the shower didn’t have much water pressure, how long would it take to fill the jacuzzi. There was a VERY large cockroach in my room. I killed it and flushed it. The tiny coffee maker was cheap, old and the carafe pouring spout was broken off. I spoke to a number of people who were there for the first time and said they would not return. It was also their first time there and said they wouldn’t return. Worst of all the price was like a 5 star price but one week cost as much as two adults for 2 full weeks at a 3 star excellent hotel in Cuba price was high. Two days travel meant 6 actual days there.

Lovely grounds, friendly staff, good food choices, lovely pool area. The accommodation was dismal and outdated - I would not ever recommend it and I will never return. I also heard from folk on the bus leaving for the airport they shared my opinion.

I had never been to an adults only resort before, but I wish I had! So peaceful and quiet. The resort itself was amazing. The grounds were beautifully kept. The food was amazing, best that I think I have had during any trip south! The rooms, slightly dated but functional. The only reason to be in the room anyway was sleep and shower! Staff are amazing - shout out to Miguel!

Friendly and welcoming staff, good food and drinks. Entertainment team kept us laughing and made the experience more memorable! :) Loved the different restaurants they offered. Overall a great time!!

Very nice resort but not worth the week stay. Pools close at 6:30, beach is closed at 7:30, lots of construction going on inside the halls and outside on the beach. Plenty of space and chairs by pool and on the beach but no relaxation with people selling items every two minutes. Food was excellent and service was amazing, Jean Carlos on pool side and multiple members at the restaurants and xhale breakfast are the only reason i did not cancel my plans early for a new location. Traveling off resort by taxi will cost you $80-100 regardless where you go so pre-plan a travel service is highly recommended

Best resort yet, of many. All fantastic…from check-in, rooms, grounds, pools, people, entertainment, service. Everything well maintained and clean. Only wished I’d taken more pictures and stayed much longer. We’ll be back.

Now I'll start quickly with the negatives -Rooms are dated (although beds extremely comfortable) -Outdoor space on the ground floor of rooms kind of reminded me of an unkept patio. Now enough of that - because I didn't spend much time in my room Food - Excellent. Typical All Inclusive meals, but everything was plentiful and flavourful. The French Restaurant was my favourite. Beach - Lots of space, activities ongoing should you want to participate, or you can relax. Pools - MY FAVOURITE! There was something for everyone. I had the Exhale suite and with that came access to a VIP pool. This was a quiet space where you could truly RELAX The Activity Pool was great during the day....lots of space and the entertainment team always was around to get you involved in something should you choose to Party Pool - At 3pm everyday the DJ sets up and the party begins. Nightlife - shows were decent and everyone was having a great time.

We stayed for 11 days at the Breathless Punta Cana Resort. The staff were very attentive and if we had any issues with our room they were there right away to address them. Simple things like the safe battery, tv remote not working and things like that. The maids were great and each day they cleaned our room and brought fresh towels. We really enjoyed the fact that you didn't have to make reservations for dinner only the one restaurant required it and was very easy to book with the hotel staff. We always enjoyed the quiet pool during the day but if we want more music etc we could have gone to the party pool but we enjoyed just relaxing while we were here. The night time entertainment was great and we really enjoyed sitting around at the main bar in the evening and service here was great as well. You will enjoy your time here and we loved it was adult only as we did visit the Dreams one next door to just walk around but there were a lot of families there as well.

The set up and grounds are very attractive. Staff were very friendly and helpful Not a 4 star hotel. Rooms had issues including thermostat not working. Door to patio hinge almost falling off. Food all about presentation but usually served cold, no cream for coffee, Decaf coffee instant powder, no hot water in the shower. There is a u-tube video about this resort called the "good, the bad and the ugly" I has been called the "party resort. True If you are a party animal you would probably think its just fine

Entertainment could have been better Bus ride from the airport was more than an hour Requested two beds but none available ended up with a king size and a roll away - did not pay to sleep on a rollaway bed

Resort was clean, food was good (especially the French a la carte restaurant), plenty of sitting spaces near the beach/pools, staff was very friendly and provided amazing service. Our concierge, Emilio, was excellent - very friendly, helpful and always available to assist us with anything. He brought us champagne to our rooms when we didn’t even ask! Very sweet guy. My only complaint was the bed sheets in the rooms seemed a little damp due to moisture in the air but I’m not sure much could’ve been done about that. Regardless I enjoyed my stay and would come again.

We were Xhale Club, so our check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. Our room was comfortable and always kept immaculate. We appreciated the nightly turndown service. Our host (butler) Emilio treated us like queens from the time that we got there until the time that we left. He went above and beyond for us, and he is the #1 reason why we will return to this resort. He is a real gem, and an asset to your company. Please pass along our gratitude to our beloved Emilio. The buffet food was surprisingly good! The best that I have had at an all-inclusive. The Strip Grill, Coquette and Spumante restaurants were all very good. The service from all staff was exceptionally great, There are too many to name, unfortunately. The entertainment was lively and energetic. The drinks at the Xhale Club lounge were spot on. There is so much more that I could say, but I will wrap it up by saying that everything was absolutely perfect!

This resort exceeded my expectations!! So beautiful, clean & top notch service in all areas of the resort. I’m a fussy eater and NEVER went hungry, the food was great and ohhh the beef tenderloin was superb!! Now on to the BEST person on the resort, our concierge, Emilio! He made us 4 ladies feel like Queens for the whole week and was always there checking on us and asking if we needed anything and what ever we requested, he would make happen, from dawn until dusk he was always there! The whole team at Breathless Punta Cana deserve a high five, from the servers, grounds keepers & pool cleaners, they ALL work extremely hard to ensure we have a great, clean and joyous week! I can’t wait to return, thank you Breathless 😊

Hi Overall very nice resort ate all all restaurants except the Hibachi because everyone we spoke to advise it was horrible however we ate at all of the other ones and did not have a bad meal. We did purchase an Xhale pkg and liked the option for sit down breakfast and lunch. We did have a butler but he did not do much and some days never saw him at all. We mostly stayed at the quieter pool as we are in our fifties, the other party pool is that exactly mostly young crowd very loud banging music with lots of intoxicated people even saw one day they had bottles of champagne and tequila in the pool passing in around to share When we were in our rooms late afternoon that pool was heard all over the resort.... No real complaints we will try another resort next time.

Our meals and accommodation were wonderful. Lots of food choices and la a carte restaurants. Best part for us was the swim out pool right outside our back deck. Loved the beach even though the seaweed was plentiful. The resort did there best to scoop up daily. Drinks were good but not a lot of premium top shelf choices if that’s what you want. The only draw back for us was the late night music until 2 each night. More a 18 to 40’s atmosphere. Pool music started at noon and lots of activities in the morning. As for Covid 19 precautions, hand sanitizer at restaurants but that’s it. So if worried about that, not the place for you as lots of close contact in pools and chairs. Enjoyed our stay but a bit tired from late nights.

The resort is very beautiful, the grounds immaculately kept and clean. I give credit to the incredible staff and their excellent customer service at the restaurants, front desk, serving staff and bars. However, there were some areas that required improvement. We are a couple of seniors and were assigned a room on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. It was a challenge climbing up and down those stairs every day. The housekeeping staff were very inconsistent with their timing on cleaning our room. Some days, they were there in the morning, late afternoon and even at 9:30 at night which was too late. The mini bar in our room was not consistently replenished. Our room was very outdated and the air conditioning was really loud. The jacuzzi on the balcony was very rusted and hardly any water pressure. The tv remote worked inconsistently- we had to call to get new batteries installed and even after then, it still didn't work well. We were in the Xhale club which provided so much better drinks, more quiet and liked the private beach and pool. However, at the large poolside area at the front, there were 2 djs, one at each end of the pool. Both competing with each other as to who played the music loudest which was extremely annoying because you couldn't make out the music was playing-i.e. rap on one end and country music on the other - both blared so loud. If you are the party type and under age40, I would recommend this resort. People were so loud, very drunk - we were woken up several days in a row at 3 am in the morning with loud drunks yelling and screaming at each other as they climbed up the stairs to go to their room. As far as entertainment goes, it was mediocre at best. They need to have more entertainment in the evening, especially at the Xhale club bar. We loved the bar, but there was no music or entertainment there. The restaurants were so-so. Two of the restaurants were never open at all. We enjoyed the French restaurant and the steakhouse. The buffet food was the same every day so we got tired of it.

Dinners were excellent. Drinks everywhere were all watered down. Crown royal is rum not whiskey. The men are friendly the woman not so much. Was there 5 years ago. Won’t go back just ok 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

We had a good time. Food was decent, rooms were clean, service was okay. However, when it comes to adults only, this is misleading. The Breathless is connected to the Dreams resort next door which is not an adults only result. We were told that Breathless guests could go to Dreams however, only adults were allowed on the Breathless resort. This was not the case. Multiple times where teenagers were getting quite drunk on the Breathless resort at various pools. A few instances where they almost started a fight. No one working on Breathless seemed to do anything to either a) prevent non-adults from coming on the resort or b) getting them off when they were on the resort and causing problems. My wife and I were young once and we get that teenagers are going to try and sneak a few drinks in when they have the opportunity. But when you are getting hammered and getting close to starting fights on a resort where you aren't suppose to be and disrupting guests who paid to be on an adults only resort, that crosses a line for us.

This was a great resort. Would we return? Probably not, but only because there are other resort chains that we love more. We read a ton of reviews before we went and to be honest, we disagree with a lot of what's been recently said. The towel game is definitely in play but by 9am, there were still plenty of options. The shaded options were few and far between at that point, but other reviews stated there just weren't enough chairs for everyone. This is not true. There were plenty. Others also commented on the wifi. It wasn't great, but it was manageable. The connections frequently dropped but it was only a minute or so before you could connect again. We never had a problem in the room, it was just when you were around the pool that sometimes it would drop. Is it a party resort? Maybe. But if you weren't into that scene, it was easy to avoid it. We asked for a quiet room and that's what we got! We were completely unaware of the loud music, doors slamming, etc that others complained about. We never heard a thing! No one ever approached us for time-share meetings. Not once. Which was great. Covid protocols - masks were required at the buffets and enforced *most* of the time. If you didn't have a mask, they would give you one at the entrance, but when they ran out, they just let you in. Masks were not enforced anywhere else even though they had signs posted at all entrances that you needed one. All staff wore masks at all times. Our butler was great. His name was Gliny. We didn't need a lot of help during our stay but anything we did need was right there to help us! He also set up a nice birthday surprise of a door banner, rose pedals, champagne and a cake for the hubby's birthday. This was a nice touch! Housekeeping was great. Our room was *usually* done by about 12pm. Once it wasn't done until late in the evening (7-ish) but it wasn't a big deal. Turn-down service was hit and miss. We seemed to only get it twice during our week stay, but again, not a big deal. I can turn down my own sheets... The Xhale upgrade was 100% worth the extra money. With this upgrade, we were allowed to have breakfast in the open-air Strip Grill restaurant instead of the main buffet. THIS ALONE MADE IT WORTH IT. I could not imagine eating any more meals in the main buffet. It was closed-in, crowded, and just not a nice atmosphere. Speaking of which, none of the restaurants had a nice atmosphere. We didn't overly enjoy the experiences in any of them. The dinner service was just ok. No one was overly friendly and they often got the orders wrong. Not a big deal to us, as all of the food was pretty good. Nothing that stands out as being excellent, but no poor meals either. If I gave feedback to the resort, it would be to liven up the restaurants so that you didn't feel that you were sitting at a random table in an open-space room. It always felt awkward. The Mexican restaurant (Picante) was advertised as part of Breathless, but it was in fact part of Dreams. A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE when you think you're at an adults-only resort and you are suddenly surrounded by more kids in one room than you've seen in your life!! (I'm not a parent if that's not obvious). My advice is to skip Picante all together, and stay at Breathless. The gym was also part of Dreams. As avid CrossFitters, we were naturally at the gym at 6am daily... the gym was pretty well equipped but SO HOT!!!! No air conditionning? And kids were allowed there too...climbing all over everything. Had we have known this in advance, we may not have chosen this particular resort...but that's just our preference and no fault of the resort. The beach was nice, and well maintained. We took a daily walk in each direction but other than that, we spent no time there. Lastly, this is not a comment about the resort but about our private transfer to get there. This was the first time we paid for a private transfer from the airport, and this will become the norm for us. It was awesome! As soon as we got our luggage and got out of the airport, we were immediately swept away into a private van and hurried to the resort without stops along the way. It wasn't cheap but the experience was well worth the money. All in all it was a great week and nice weather.

Happy we booked here! We had access to the 2 joining resorts, food was good, service was EXCELLENT. The rooms could be cleaner and more bright. The beaches and pools were amazing. The shows at night were good, but they played too much rock music for my liking. A great place to go with a group of friends or your partner.. there was always a party happening at one of the pools.

We paid for the xhale club at Breathless resort, not worth extra money, We arrived at 10 am and didn’t get room till 3, our luggage showed up at 5 after many phone calls, and the host that was supposed to look after us for the week. It is very dated, room was musty smelling, we didn’t get much extra for our money, we had a lounge with premium alcohol, supposed to be for xhale guests, anyone could come in, nobody checked. Overall we had a good week, weather wasn’t the greatest but can’t control that.

The resort grounds were immaculate, the rooms are beautiful and the staff are amazing. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. It is not too big so easy to get around and you have many choices for food at all times, you can have a quiet day at one pool or you can sit at the party pool where there is always something going on. The beach was amazing and kept very clean.

True luxury resort , service was perfect , food too , xhale isnt really worth it . You get too little extra for what you pay for ... The butler who wont do much will ask you to write a review on Tripadvisor in front of him so of course you will find tons of great review about xhale and their butlers but they dont much at all ... But the resort itself is great , all the restaurant are perfect and there is no wait or reservation needed . They keep asking you for drinks either on the beach or at pool . Your always taken care of . ! I recommend ! Great place to party ! Only downside is that the people are leaving towels to reserve chairs everywhere around the party pool , so unless you dont care and will dump them and take their "reserved seat" like i did you will have to stand or do the same really early . Only annoying thing . Everything else was perfect !

This was our first time at an all adults resort, didn't know what to expect. But wow! it was an experience to remember. Food was always amazing and never stopped Resort was clean and stunning Shows were non stop, always some activity happening some where Party.... WOW! never have I partied so much on any trip, amazing time People were all so humble and kind to us and very helpful if we needed anything E team was always putting on exciting shows and keep us entertained My husband and I would go back in a heart beat. Best of all we had the best travel agent, working for us whenever we needed anything. Had issues with the flight, but Victoria worked on her own personal time to make it right for us. She got us what we wanted, can't say enough about how amazing this woman was to us. My husband and I are both very thankful for her and will be sure to use her on our next booking. Breathless was a great place to stay, food was great, the place was clean and the staff was friendly. There is always something to do there so you would never be bored. The only negative would be that the drink consistency varied from bar to bar and you never knew what your drink would taste like each time. Also turn down service was to be done every night but it only happened once for us. No biggie as it was minor to us. We would come back

Breathless was breathless. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The food was excellent and the presentation from the buffet to Al la Carte’s was top notch. 12 of us went and 12 of us said we would return The beach was clean and huge and lots of chairs and sun shades Both pools were fun and designed to either party all day or a more relaxed area Staff were amazing. Breathless Punta Cana was amazing! The grounds and beach were pristine and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff are what made this trip unforgettable; they are friendly and willing to help in any way at all. The entertainment crew ensured that there was never a dull moment, but there was always opportunities to relax on the beach or the main pool. I had absolutely no issues during my trip. Accommodations were exactly what I needed. Highly recommend Breathless Punta Cana and will definitely be back!

So let's start off with you get greeted with a fresh towel to freshen up! Very nice offer! They check you in fairly quickly and deliver your luggage to your room! The room was a little musty smelling but not horiable. The room I was in was nice needs a little touch up here and there nothing major or worth calling front desk about... The one down fall was my shower would not drain fast enough but it did get fix along with the tv remote not working couldn't turn on or off the tv. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of! The food was ok... Not what I was expecting for the price I paid could have been better quality however the French and Italian restaurant where the best out of all of the restaurants. Now the party scene at this resort is great! Always had music going late into the night the theme nights and night club where great and the bar tenders where awesome this is where in my mind the resort stood out! If you are looking for a fun time and to let lose this is the place to go!

Highly recommend this resort. Has everything you could want; great rooms, service, food, beach, pools... You can hide away on the beach, or party at the pool. Great for couples and singles. It will leave you breathless.

This hotel was AMAZING, I heard a lot of good things so I was excited to try it. We went January 2020 for our honeymoon and they were awesome! We were able to celebrate my husband's birthday and our honeymoon all in one trip. We travel quite a bit and this was by far the best resort for food and drinks. The food was AMAZING and so were the drinks, drinks were top shelf so you didn't feel crappy after. I could have 5 daiquiris and not feel gross. The staff was also VERY friendly, they always made you feel welcome and felt like they wanted you there. We can't wait to go back.. and that is saying alot because we never go to the same resort twice.

Our stay in Punta Cana You said we stayed at breathless and we did not because we stayed at Impressive And we were very happy with it. Yes we would return because the service was great the ocean was great the beach was great and the food and wine were great.

Immaculate upkeep. Wonderful staff. Felt extremely secure. Staff found my cell phone I left at the pool and I recovered it easily. Lifesavers! Within 5 minutes of telling someone my mini fridge broke they had installed a new one! Shout outs to Melvin at the pool bar and DJ Lex who killed it everyday!

I had a great 5 day stay at Breathless Resort in Punta Cana. The food was amazing. I was not used to A La Cart being included in my package so it was just a plus in that aspect. I was not use to having a mini fridge being stocked every day at no charge so that was amazing too. I had a Jacuzzi on my balcony which I used every day and I faced the quieter pool which again was great. The staff were so friendly!!!! I felt really safe here. Everything this resort promises online is totally true. The staff at the resort will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The entertainment every night was spectacular and the drinks where delicious!! Lots of dancing so bring your dancing shoes!!!! There is a little market that is 2 minutes away just outside the resort that has more of a selection for gifts and prices are much better then the stores in the resort itself so be sure to check it out!!! I had a blast and made a couple of nice friend that I still keep in touch with. Only thing I would like to mention is do not leave the resort alone Always travel outside the resort with someone or in a group.

Our experience at this hotel was not a good one. From the moment we checked in until the day we left we had several issues. We are not difficult people to please. We are simple and want to enjoy a nice holiday. As soon as we checked in we were immediately harassed by individuals trying to sell us shares. This continued on for days until we threatened to file a complaint against them. Our room was below average. It wasn't clean and it was located directly above the outdoor entertainment area so it was very loud on the evenings we had early nights. The maids completed the most basic cleaning they could. Make the bed, refresh the towels and wipe the floor. Our shower and sinks were not cleaned the entire time we were there. The doors and the walls in the room were filthy. One of our cupboard doors fell off the hinge the day we arrived and was only fixed the day before we left (day 9), despite many requests. The grounds were clean and the resort looked very pretty at night with all of the lights. There are 2 pools. The main 'party' pool and then a quieter pool closer to the beach. We did not set foot in the 'party' pool. We saw some interesting things go on and decided to stick to the other pool. I'm glad we did. The party pool was like a frat party. Clothing optional, etc. The second pool was nice and we spent most of our time there or at the beach. They allow smoking at this resort ….anywhere you want to smoke, you can light up. In the pool, beside the pool, at the beach. Despite all of the smoking the grounds were kept clean. Except the beach - there were a lot of cigarettes and cigars in the beach sand. You could find areas that were cleaner than others and this is what we did. The water and the beach itself was really beautiful. The food was ok - the main buffet was pretty plain. The restaurants however did have very good food. We passed on the buffet and went to a restaurant every night. They were all delicious. The weather was our saving grace for 10 days. It was exceptionally beautiful with blue skies and lots of sunshine.

Food was great. Service was very good. Only problem was that they have construction going on during the night and our room was initially right behind it so it kept us from getting sleep because of the constant banging of hammers during the night. They were good about it and changed our rom the next day

Overall, the resort was very clean and beach maintained very well. Only two restaurants were good for dinner. Recommend French and the Asian. Others were not that great. Entertainment was pretty good as well

Very clean, beautiful property, long beach, friendly staff! Only caution is if you use the medical/doctor on call ask for the fee upfront! They tell you after the fact that there is a charge and the charges were extremely high ($495 for 15 min)

At first glance the Breathless Resort in Punta Cana appears like the perfect sanctuary to rest, relax and get away from 'reality' but we quickly realized that from the minute arrived we would need to get through a fair number of sales pitches before we were finally ignored and left to enjoy the quiet and relaxation that we needed (and paid for). We were quite naive and thought that our introductory 'concierge' was there to help us settle in. Rather, his end goal was to get us to participate in a 90 minute sales pitch. Had we known this we would have been more solid in our consistent mantra, " we just want to get to the beach". If you encounter that and are not interested in paying 20K for the opportunity to get cheaper rates at resorts, then remain clear that you are not interested in participating in the sales pitch. We had issues with getting through to anyone using the phone system. (i.e., when we needed our bags brought to the room without a 30 minute delay or when the breaker system tripped and we had no power) We finally figured out that you should dial 0 to get the switchboard in order to avoid the constant busy signals. Once settled in we enjoyed the beach during the day and were impressed by how much effort was put into maintaining the level of seaweed on the shore. We enjoyed the meals at the a la carte restaurants and took part in the entertainment that was offered. All these elements were what we expected from this resort. Would we go here again? No. However, we rarely travel to the same place twice. I do know that we will be wary of sales pitches that distract from the goals of rest and relaxation at any resort we go to in the future.

This is a beautiful resort. Two large pools, steps to the beach and multiple tasty restaurants. I did a solo trip to Breathless and never felt out of place once. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I had no trouble talking to other guests. The food is above and beyond for an all inclusive, I did not have one meal that I did not enjoy. The nightly entertainment is well done and it seemed most people on the resort attended the shows which speaks of its quality. The staff really are exceptional. Shout outs to Pikachu for his friendly banter and checking in with me every day. The staff remember you and truly make you feel like they care about your experience and vacation.

The resort was beautiful. There were palm trees everywhere. The resort was clean and well maintained. the food was amazing and we always had a good variety to choose from. The beach was spectacular. You could chose between a quiet area and a party area.

The resort was amazing! Clean great service beautiful pools and beach. Lots of excellent entertainment and relaxing as well. Lots of choice in restaurants. Everything was easy to find and close to rooms. Vibe was amazing. Great for all ages. Would definitely go back or to another breathless!

The grounds were spectacular and well maintained Room serviced, at least three times a day. Greeted upon and given a drink and cold towel after warm bus ride. I was disappointed, in our room size. Bathtub were outside, with no privacy to enjoy it. Also had to leave our clothes in our suitcase as there were no dresser drawers to put your clothes in. We were provided with extra hangers. I can not say enough about the Entertainment Staff, Leo, Sobbie Do, Johnathan and Luis the best were fabulous to us. They made sure that we had a great time. So happy they were on staff when we were there. Thanks Wally. Great entertainment every night! Disappointed that not all restaurant were opened at every night, but happy to be able to use Onyx's. We were able to enjoy cuisines that I have never experienced before.

The grounds were well kept and beautiful with the glowing purple lights at home. The restaurants were all good. The Italian and French were my favourites. The ETeam staff were amazing. Always there to encourage you and approach you to participate or get up and dance. All staff were fabulous. Everyone was polite, respectful, and would go out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. The only downfall was being on the ground level... not sure about the other levels, but the bathtub was outside the room. Never got to enjoy a luxurious bath.. I would highly recommend this resort. Always something going on for all ages. You can enjoy the party pool or the quiet pool. It’s the place to go for the holiday you want.

Resort was clean and public areas/gardens were well manicured. Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was excellent, although no reservation policy (except for Teppanyaki) lead to occasionally long waits for dinner at a la cartes. Beach was excellent and well-maintained; any seaweed (sargassum) that washed ashore was cleaned up by tractor. Hottubs were open 24 hours. Entertainment team members were very engaging, and there was always something happening. Lots of music throughout the day and night. Would definitely return.

This was a tough review and I’m struggling with how to rate this resort (I really want to give it 4*, but it's not quite there). I admit, everything is so subjective, so I like to provide comparison context to establish “realistic expectations”, noting that 5* doesn’t always mean the Ritz or the 4 Seasons, so I am not measuring on this basis. Full disclosure: We pre-booked a Master Oceanfront Xhale room, and the resort was at 55-60% capacity. We not only knew, but liked and chose this place because it was considered a ‘party’ atmosphere. The comparable resorts we’ve been to are Breathless Mexico, CHIC Punta Cana and Hard Rock Punta Cana. Here is how Breathless Punta Cana rates: The grounds: Immaculate, beautifully manicured/maintained. Layout seems a bit awkward and linear (if you are in the Xhale buildings don’t wear heels to dinner unless you take the trolley). The beachfront buildings are a good hike to the main lobby/atrium where you find most restaurants and entertainment. The beach: Nice, but definitely rocky in the water. Careful you don’t cut your feet..recommend swimming more toward the NOW resort beach. The rooms: Very clean, housekeeping was thorough and consistent every day. The master suite comes with a separate sitting room and 2 full bathrooms (which I LOVED). However, I understand when people say the rooms look ‘dated’. The resort is only 5 years old and yet the rooms look much older, because the décor is more tropical than modern. The rooms at Breathless Mexico, and CHIC are quite modern, so sadly Breathless Punta Cana is aging very quickly. Note: On the last day we found the source of a very loud and annoying decompressing sound (occurred every 15-20 minutes). We suffered with it for many days/nights, only to determine it was the scented mister above our bed. The service: Our butler/concierge Glinny was quite awesome. He seemed to find us wherever we were and was keen to help with whatever we needed (always with a huge smile). Most of the bars and restaurants had good service, but the attitudes were hit and miss. Some very friendly, attentive, others were quite short/curt. The entertainment: Admittedly, we didn’t participate in any of the activities or catch any of the shows, but it looked quite lively. The issue we had was the Freestyle pool DJ. Very inconsistent. 1 day great dance music, validated by large, very engaged crowd, other days the DJ should have a better read on the audience (small, non-engaged crowd = change the music). The food: Mmmm, ok so this is where Breathless Mexico and CHIC are WAY ahead. Did we have some good meals? Yes, the Italian and Mexican restaurants were quite good. We ate 2x at each. The French was inedible, awful. The strip soooo disappointing. Husband ordered a beautiful beef fillet, but strangely that they didn’t ask how he wanted it cooked. Before the waiter left he had to ask for ‘medium rare’…..BIG MISTAKE, and now understand why they don’t ask. Honestly, the ‘quality’ was similar to Canada, but it was delivered RAW (not even rare). We thought this might have been a mistake, sent it back, asked for medium rare again….only to get another raw steak. What a waste of 2 beautiful steaks. The afternoon barefoot grill was just ok. Husband really wanted chicken wings and there were none to speak of. Afternoon food choices at Breathless Mexico and CHIC again are much better. However, ALL the food at the Hard Rock is inedible (very disappointing), so Breathless Punta Cana was definitely better. The drinks: Were just ok. Given the size of the resort I understand why most of the main drinks are pre-frozen to ensure quicker service, but Breathless Mexico and CHIC always offer these freshly blended….makes a BIG difference. Note, I would never complain about a drink being too weak since this can be quickly fixed by asking for more booze. We did want to send a special shout out to Leo the Hookah guy. My husband visited him everyday, and he was always extremely friendly and was well versed on the set-up. Overall, the resort was nice, but we did struggle to connect like we have with others places. There were points when they went above and beyond, and others where they fell flat.

This resort was awesome. From the moment you walk in the modern and stylish resort the staff is quick, friendly and effective. The grounds are clean and beautiful, restaurants are amazing and the entertainment is on point. A definite revisit to breathless resort.

5 stars for sure. Grounds were beautiful, food was excellent, staff were amazing. The only bad thing was there was an adjoining room door and I could here the person snoring like a freight train. It was also disturbing when the drunk crowd got back to their rooms at 4am and slammed their room doors, at night it sounds like a bomb going off.

The rooms, grounds, food, beach and staff were amazing. We have no complaints. However, we were not prepared for the craziness of this resort. Thankfully we were able to find some quieter areas to enjoy. The party pool is insane, and the singles vibe was at times unbearable.

My husband and I just returned from a week stay at breathless. The beach here was beautiful and you could go for long walks daily. There were many pools to choose from some being the quieter pools while the other was the busier pool with music blasting all day. There was a mixture of people of all ages, singles and couples. The room was okay definitely needs some updating and more furniture ex. couch or table and chairs especially when you decide to order room service. The bathroom was large with large shower. Do not get a ground floor room unless you want to get woken up every night from people walking back from the Afterdark bar which is opened until 3:00am. We were woken up on several occasions to people yelling in the hallway. This doesn't happen in a couples only resort. The food was good, but not exceptional. The service was very good and the employees work hard every day and some have multiple jobs. The employees is really what makes this resort survive. We couldn't make reservation for supper however some of the waiting time was really disappointing. The entertainment was good and especially the beach party/Fire show, but unfortunately the pool party was cancelled due to rain. Lots of entertainment throughout the day on the beach/pool if you like to exercise. The drinks were watered down including the wine which surprised me for a 4+ resort. This was really disappointing. This was our first time at a resort with singles usually we do couples only (not to be critical but The excellence Resort/Secrets Resort). In the future we will be going to couples only resorts. This was not as luxurious as we had hoped, but still had a good time.

This was a our second stay at Breathless Punta Cana. Our first stay was April 2015. We chose Breathless as our wedding destination because we loved it so much! The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is awesome! We stayed in the ocean front master suite which was stunning. Our guests also had a great time. The only thing we noticed a decline in, from our initial stay, was the entertainment department. When we went two years ago we knew so many staff by name and even befriended one. We noticed we hardly saw anyone around from the entertainment team. Also, several people ate burgers there and were sick. They were raw in the middle. The wine is also not good so don't stay here if you are a wine enthusiast. Other than that, it is a beautiful resort. I love the décor here! Our wedding was fantastic. I was overly impressed by the buffet dinner at our wedding reception! I highly recommend this resort! You can party if you want or enjoy piece and quiet if you want. upgrading to exhale was worth it to us so we could access the exhale pool and have upgraded beverages.

we went to Breathless resort on April/07/18 for our daughter’s wedding. Loved the resort, food, cleanliness and staff. Highly recommend this resort. Only thing I did’t like was their wine, but made due, took some down with us.

The hotel, grounds, pools, food, beach, restaurants were absolutely amazing. The staff was there to help and ensure your trip was perfect in every aspect. Great nightly entertainment which was well orchestrated and very entertaining. This resort has thought of it all. Beautiful beaches with lots of seats, service and amazing atmosphere.

The grounds were beautiful, the beach was amazing, and the staff on the grounds were friendly. In contrast, the front desk staff was terrible. We learned that "we will be there in 5 minutes" translates to: "wait for an hour and then you will have to call again". Malfunctions with the air freshener in our room kept us awake until 2am while staff ineffectually tried to fix it. Unfortunately for us, terrible service from the front desk and substandard hotel rooms resulted in our desire to never return to this particular resort.

We got here and were greeted by friendly staff , the room was spectacular although the upgraded ocean front view was expensive is worth every penny for first time vacationers to a resort ! Tons to do with events every day and evening , lots of pools wether you want to party or somewhere quiet there is a place for every mood. The food is great and they cater to you so good your never without ! The rooms were well kept and clean and the overall impression is very well maintainted and keep t up ! Over all we were very impressed and highly recommend Breathless ! I'm sure we'll be back to this one !

First of all the above picture is not what our room looked like! Our vacation was over 9 days, at Breathless, Punta Cana. The trip from the airport takes about 50 min to arrive at hotel, check in was quick, a brief attempt to upcharge to a “better” room, starting at $90 a night and then when we said no, he tried again at $60, we still said no and he gave us a “free” upgrade, which was what we were getting anyway. A king bed, 2nd floor room, pool view, or courtyard view. Our room 1236, was directly across from main pool where after day in sun we were able to watch the end of day activities! There are time share salesmen but we managed to avoid them,we were not interested and they left us alone, we did say a few white lies to not have to endure the talk and pitch for the package. The room was clean, worn in areas, bed spread or throw at end of bed had stains on it. One chair to put suitcase on, ample storage and closet space.They provided robes and slippers which we used, nice and soft terry cloth. Air and fan in room worked well. The shower and bathroom could have used some grout work, shower slow to drain, needed to turn water off during your shower to insure it didn’t flood. Toiletries are provided, manly smelling, good for males not females. The towels are thinning, we asked for bed linen to be changed by housekeeping, and she did, left her candy everyday and room was nicely done. We met the daily bar fridge restocker, Willy, who was awesome! He took the time to meet us, we found out about his family, and even when he was not stocking and just in hotel, he smiled and asked if he could get us anything, always smiling. We only had to call for coffee and water on first day, but after we met Willy, never again. Also at al la carte dinners, they have a staff member ask if everything was acceptable in your room, if you needed anything, request turn down service or anything else that you needed for room, and by time you returned from dinner it was done. We went to all al a carte dinners except for Sian, we were fortunate to meet Nicholas at the beach BBQ,on our first day, and he then arranged our first al la carte at the Culinaria, he was our server and he made sure the dinner was outstanding, and for rest of the vacation we went where he recommended, and was working, and we were not disappointed, had great dinners every time. Only the second time at the Italian did I have a meal which I sent the appetizer back, and then also had a terrible entree, could not eat it, the server was rude, not our Nicholas, so it was disappointing. We ate breakfast at the buffet every am, great variety. We ate lunch at the beach BBQ, lots to choose from, great burgers, paninis, fries, pizza, salads, fruits, ice cream, never went hungry. The beach drink servers were fabulous, Ariel and Ricardo need a big raise, as they walk miles on the beach bringing you drinks, water, and smiles. Beach is beautiful, can walk for miles in any direction, “shopping” vendors up off beach, there are areas that are public beach, so need to be careful. The resort is lively, pool entertainment is theme based,nightly entertainment varies and they post a schedule daily. The only complaint or concern we had was that although it is an adult resort, 18+, there were very young students at the evening entertainment, from the sister resort Now, who were there drinking, “watching” show with 2 Mothers of the teens who were not great role models at all, who were also drunk, not interested in anything other than picking up the entertainment staff. The “young” adults were loud, swearing and pretty much behaving like idiots, and security did not really do much to stop them that evening and again the next day on the beach. The self indulgent rich spoiled kids, who have obviously no regard for manners or how to behave in public without their parents. So for that reason I would probably check to make sure that the minimum age for a resort is 21, when I stay somewhere again. Or perhaps the resort should not allow minors to attend adult evening shows, as they were adult theme, and stay off the beach where they could not be served, put bracelets on the underagers is a start. All in all, a great party atmosphere, good restaurants to eat, no reservations required, be prepared to wait a short time, great beach, make friends with the waiters and be pleasant to the staff, they work hard, and in turn they make your stay memorable.

To be honest, I’m never a guy to like to review on hotels or staff, however, this hotel is beautiful, staff is amazing, food is good, entertainment vibe is wonderful. Staff on the beach are amazing. Ricardo, Ariel, Anyelo, Samuel, Wilken!!! Great people !

The resort is nice, clean and well laid out. The xhale club beach front room is amazing. The staff awesome. It is very much a younger persons' "party" atmosphere - lobby is like a night club. So if you are there to relax it's not the place for you (but their sister location next door is). If you aren't - lots going on, especially in the evening (not first class entertainment but definitely a party) and at the "party pool". Food was "okay", not great, not bad - many restaurants to choose from - seafood/steaks limited. The best thing I can say about this resort (having been to the DR 14 times) is that the staff are top notch and service same.

The hotel, staff, food, grounds were all fantastic. I'm not one to complain about being on vacation. Some restaurants were closed during the evening. So we just ate at Spoon the buffet. There was a party pool and quiet pool. I enjoyed the entertainment. I found the staff to be extremely friendly. I would recommend.

Everything was excellent. Very courteous staff. Rooms are very clean. The resort to me is a five star plus. This was the best food and entertainment we have ever had in the Dominican. We would certainly go back to this resort again.

On arrival we were promptly taken care of.Unfortunately when we got to our room it was on the ground floor and I had specifically requested not to be on the ground floor. The front desk promptly took care of this and we were given an upgrade to a third floor room overlooking the beach. The room was well maintained each day. The restaurants that we went to were very good and the food was excellent. Hotel staff were very courteous and friendly and were constantly checking to ensure that everything was going well and that we were enjoying our stay. My only disappointment was the beach area as the water was rough pretty well every day, so we could not go into the ocean as the "red" flag was up.The beach itself was nice for getting the sun as they had lots of beach chairs and activity. We did make up for it when we went on the day tour to Saona Island and the Blue Lagoon. That made up for not being able to swim at the resort beach...All in all, it was a very enjoyable vacation and I would return to this resort.

My husband and I just got back from Breathless Resort and Spa Punta Cana celebrated our 15th year wedding anniversary. When i booked our trip I upgraded it to xhale club with swim up pool the room is beautiful but complained after 2 nights because our room is at the end beside alley way where workers loading and unloading their stuff. We went to the club and spoke to Gilberto he was very helpful and go beyond. We ended up upgrading our room to exhale club master suit ocean view room 2394...one of the best room at the resort paid extra US$500 with Gilberto's help we got a discount yes, for me its worth it..its a luxury room with 2 bathrooms, huge living room and king size bed and 2 jazzucci inside our room and at the balcony. We treated like King and Queen...bed made twice a day with a surprised every night with chocolates, champagne etc...and fridge is fully stocked everyday. We got calls every morning if we needed something and to make sure everything is OK. Gilberto, you are amazing, thank you very much for making our vacation so special. Also, our butler Papa Eudi...thank you very much for everything you did for us....and the surprised you did on our last night was unforgettable..you guys know how to treated your guest so special. I also need to thanks Black Armani for a great pool workout...you rock man. Also to Martina for always giving us a welcoming smile and for cooking my calamari as requested. Its a fun fun place...my husband and I had a great time...from day 1 new years eve to the end of our trip. It was one of our best vacation together...great memories for the two of us. I also like that you can walk in to any restaurants when you are ready to eat and not booking in advance. Food is awesome more than i expected except the Japanese restaurant food was OK. We only eat once at the buffett which they have great selection as well and for lunch since we upgrade it to xhale club we have a choice not to go eat at the buffet for lunch. This resort is a party place day and night but also there's a place for those who choice to be in the quite place. At night if you like boom boom music...you'll love it not my kind of music but again you don't have to be there. All in all this resort I'll give it a five star.

The hotel is modern and more hotel than resort, but very pleasant and relaxing. Everything is clean and well maintained, when you need something just ask and they will provide. The restaurants offer a large variety of food and a good service, we were very pleased. We spent an enjoyable week. Only bad memory Sunwing service even upgrading to Elite plus we didn't receive any food, barely a cup of water and the ground transportation in Punta Cana late and disrespectful. In conclusion we loved Breathless and we will return anytime but in any case not with Sunwing

This was my second stay at Breathless Punta Cana and I will definitely be returning again. Upon arrival we were quickly checked in and given the upgrade that I had requested without hesitation. The atmosphere is upbeat and the E-team is there helping to make your stay as enjoyable as they can. Everyone of them try to make you smile as the pass by. Shaky Shaky and Super Gerald as well as Lady Ana and several others that I am sorry to say I can't remember their names, made a special effort to stop and share conversation even though they always had a busy schedule. The E-team put on excellent shows and considering some of the only started less than a month ago they were very impressive. The shows were great especially the Magic and Circus Acts. The buffet had an excellent variety at every meal and the service was great too. We went to the Steak House, Coquette (French Cuisine) The Dominican and Japanese specialty restaurants each one was excellent. We were not disappointed with any of the meals we had. The pools are huge so you can find a quiet spot if you like or join the party. I highly recommend going to Breathless Punta Cana. I'll be going back, just not soon enough.

This resort is OK nothing wow. When we got to the hotel we upgraded our room to swim up which cost almost 500 Canadian it rained three out of the seven days we stayed there and could not even use the swim up pool there was so much debris in it. However staff are really nice and food is good. Jose help us with a few hiccups we had at the hotel I give this hotel a 7 out of 10.

We stayed from Sept 14-21 and chose Los Cabos because we had to cancel out trip 1 week earlier to Punta Cana and it's true what they say about how everything happens for a reason....we LOVED our week at Breathless cabo san lucas. Paulina at check in was beyond amazing and always smiling. The entire staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was great. We loved that our room overlooked the marina and was a mere steps away from the hub of everything. Weekends were crazy fun that by Monday you welcomed the down time. We highly recommend this adults only resort geared more for 20-55 year olds. So so so HOT!!!!!!

My mom and I went to the Dominican for the first time as a mother-daughter weeklong date. We booked with the Travel Agent O'Neil Graham and he was amazing! My mom had specific requests as to where she wanted our room, and he assisted us with all our needs, questions, and anything else we needed. Next time we plan a trip again, we will definitely be reaching out to him! The resort was amazing, it's on the smaller side as opposed to other resorts I've been to, which is perfect because you can meet people, make a lot of new friends and see them all the time. The food was great, the room was perfect, and the staff were so sweet. I enjoyed all the events everyday, and i met a lot great people! Shoutout to the E-TEAM at the resort for making my experience unforgettable, they were great new friends. My mom and i agree that we would definitely return whether with each other, more family members, or a large group of friends!!

This was an amazing hotel from start to finish. The people here are great! Hard workers for sure! Service was fantastic! Best resort I have ever been to! Food was delicious and the drinks keep on coming. Great party atmosphere. Everyone here is here for a good time! Foam pool parties..beach parties...this place has it all! Special shout out to our man Rhomer.....waiter poolside...he took care of us the entire time and made it great week! Room service 24hours was also a plus! I will be going back for sure!!

Skip Breathless. For a country where over 50% of their GDP comes from tourism you would think that service, consistency and quality would be a priority for a "five star resort" however if you read the number of reviews I have about breathless you will quickly see all the faults of this resort downplayed by how amazing the e-team is (granted the e-team is the heart of this resort; without them this place would be nothing). Review after review you see mentions of terrible food or the food is ok and that's the honest truth the food is just that, ok (at best). There is alot of bad and when you find something you like and think ok I'll stick with that because it's tolerable you will quickly find out hey this isn't what I got the last time I ordered it or ate it at the buffet. For anyone who has been to a real five star in their life and paid the amount this place charges your expectations should be higher than all the five star reviews here settle for. I wanted to believe that the critical reviews were just people who couldn't be pleased or who had unrealistic expectations and that's why I booked. My goal is to hopefully shed clarity to those who are on the fence and to tell those that saw what I saw in the reviews not to decide to give this place the benefit of the doubt. It took me coming here to find that out. This resort is a testament of the fatal flaw of aggregate review sites and that's the difference of everyone's priorities and experiences. For priorities if you go to a resort and skip breakfast and lunch, drink all day and party then this place is probably five star to you because that is what you came for. However if you want to eat food that is delicious, have consistency in service and food as well as have that great atmosphere as you should expect from a true five star resort this place won't be for you. Then comes experience, if you don't know anything else then you have nothing to compare Breathless to then it might be great to you, that is until you experience something better. I have paid less than half I did on this trip from a 3.5 star resort in Mexico and received better service and food. This resort throughout your time here will tell you to give shout outs in your reviews on trip advisor to show love to the e-team staff. That's why you see so many five star reviews as they imply that their employees performance is judged on these reviews. This pulls on guests heart strings as they are being asked to do this for the people that give them great service as a means to show their appreciation and it's implied that the employees will be given some sort of reward or as though their pay is somehow based on their shoutouts on these reviews. That's why the majority of the reviews for this hotel are of this nature; overly inflating the overall rating of this hotel. Now that I've at length addressed my perception of the faults of this resort I do want to say the great parts that made this place three stars to me. -the e-team is very engaging and makes sure everyone is always having a good time if they want to participate, if you don't they are quick to allow you your space -the beach is beautiful and well maintained, just the same as the resort which is beautifully manicured -the staff that work hard and take pride in their work are great the issue is its very hit or miss so when you find the good ones it makes you want to shout them out that much more! Christian at the Deep pool bar works tirelessly making drinks and putting on a show! He makes everyone feel like they're his best friend and he is the biggest asset this hotel has outside of the e-team -Rooms are spacious, jacuzzis on all the balconies are wonderful, size of the resort allows people to never feel crowded and if you want to find quiet there is places to avoid or engage the party based on your mood. Rooms are well kept by the maid service and mini bars are constantly stocked. All in all for a place that touts itself as unlimited luxury once you get here you will soon find the plethora of add on things and upsell of things that you can't do without paying extra. (multiple different lounge options, meal options to enhance your stay, exhale club, all wines outside of house, spa, and luxury branded liquor is only available at request from limited places) hopefully you've read all of this and this has helped you save some of your hard earned money or helped you decide that based on what matters to you that this is the right spot for you!

Great staff. From Check-in to the groundskeepers. Pools,grounds and rooms very immaculate. Rooms service very prompt. Abundant of food in restaurants. Lots of places to eat. Amazing night life for party goers. Access to nearby resort. Close to local transit.

My husband and I just came back from a week at Breathless and it was fabulous. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and we had the best time. The beach was great and clean. No fighting for a beach chair. The entertainment staff were great, friendly and talented. The food was top notch. Loved the fact that we didn't have to book a la carte dinners and there were options every night, including the resort next door. Everything was clean and modern. We would love to return soon!

We ended up loving this resort. we were initially unsure about the techno party vibe when we arrived, but found lots of quiet areas and TONS of shade for r&r. great food choice; beach only OK - not bavaro

My husband and I had an excellent vacation at this resort. - service throughout the resort was fantastic. - the resort was very clean. - we loved the food and drinks. - the entertainment team did an excellent job. - lively and fun time - the staff are very hard working. We were happy to tip the employees. - comfortable beds We will definitely return to this resort.

Was sick for 4 days with salmonella. Went to the hospital in Punta Cana. There were a lot of people at this resort that had stomach issues. Had to seek medical attention when I got home. I have never been this sick in my life.

This resort rocks food was awesome room was ultra modern and clean we were super happy with pretty much everything The only thing that I would recommend to what is already there would be a larger variety of house red wine

Very clean resort, excellent food, great service, would recommend this resort anytime. Quiet around pool area till 3 in afternoon but busy at the beach . Great beach for walks. Always food available .Great time !!!

The food was good ! The Resort is beautiful elegant. The time share people Don't understand NO!! They constantly hound you .. You got for breakfast they are all lingering at the only entrance.. By day 3 we went out the back way we had enough, you go for a cappuccino they were there bothering you. The hot tub was great day 1 and then soo cold for 3 days many people complained FINALLY the last 1.5 days it was hot. The second hot tub was never hot!! The "party" pool was cold !! NO music or entertainment until 3pm and then it was lame. The music was non exsistant they had speakers set up and such and but was a very quiet doctors office music!! MANY people had there own music. Some staff never smiled then others were amazing! Beach service was a hit and miss.

We loved this resort. We were unlucky that the weather was rainy for several days, but the resort was lovely and the food was excellent. The staff worked very hard to make our stay and the entertainment was fantastic

Excellent accommodations, service, food, entertainment, staff and beach. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help out. Rooms and property are always kept neat and clean. I would definitely recommend Breathless Resort and Spa in Punta Cana!

Breathless Resort was beautiful and the staff was extremely attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic food at all of the various restaurants! The beach was clean and the ocean waters were warm. Loved the fact that many activities were offered and that it was also possible to have quiet relaxing time on the beach.

Beautiful beach! Impeccable grounds dining rooms! Great food,bars! Great buffets lots of varieties,very clean! Needs to improve housekeeping in rooms. The best staff!!😘 Amazing ETeam! Dr. On site! Overall very nice! I would visit it again.

Breathless is an excellent resort! A great place for couples of all ages and single people. A Party atmosphere all the time, but also areas where you can relax and be away from the crowds. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Food is outstanding. All those who work at the Hotel are very kind and courteous! They always pay attention to you! Beach is lovely! Great bar service on the beach too! I would definitely return to Breathless in Punta Cana and recommend it to anyone!

The pools were nice and clean, the service and people were great, the beach was amazing, the overall resort was beautiful. The food was ok, but could have been better. I would recommend this resort to anyone!

The Resort had everything you would expect and more...accomodations, culinary offerings, service, beach, pools, grounds , activities, nightly entertainment..... Did I say Service, it was exceptional!!

beautiful beach it was very clear to the left of the pool bar, nice not to have to worry about reservations times to eat wait was never very long even with a party of 11, rooms were a nice size, room service was excellent

Overall the resort was very nice. Rooms were large and modern, lighting could have been a bit better. Restaurants were also very good. Need to upgrade their wine and alcohol selection.The beaches and facilities were wonderful. Had a nice week, great time of year weather was fantastic, rained in the evening.

The hotel is new feels new the staff was great I would go back in a heartbeat the food was amazing we spend our 20th anniversary at breathless and I would go back again for my 25th anniversary Punta Cana was awesome

Hotel was great! As a regular traveler to the Caribbean, and Mexico, I can safely say that you will enjoy your stay here. Beautiful grounds, food was good. You can call your drinks rather than use rail booze. Beach was beautiful. Not a bad thing to say! Entertainment team was keeping you engaged if you wanted, or stayed away if you wanted quiet time. We're in the process of planning our next trip here!

The resort was extremely nice, lots of things to do if that's what you're into or just want to have a peaceful rest surrounded by beautiful pools, tropical views and great service? Well you get that here as well!!
