The Resort was very clean. The food was excellent. The staff are very helpful and have fantastic customer service. The nightly entertainment was ok. Was expecting a little more than a jazz band every night. The curious show was good, they needed more of that kind of entertainment. Our room was basic, could have used a makeup table instead of a desk. We found not enough room for bathroom stuff on the sink area, made it look cluttered. The view from our room was spot on, we could see the ocean as well as the pool and bar area. We had a few issues with our water in the shower but once brought to the hotels attention they fixed it. My only major complaint is check in. We stood in line for over an hour and half to get a room. That is not acceptable! People were getting frustrated and cutting the line. If there was is an issue with the rooms not being ready, check people in and let them enjoy the resort, they can go back to front desk to get a room assigned with in a hour or two. Or bring more maids on. We will not go back to this resort, only because we decided we prefer a place with no children. This resort is great for family’s.

Definitely an enjoyable stay. The water slide and the lazy river was such a nice touch! Beach had lots of waves while we were there but the water was very warm. Lots of seating available at the beach and pool compared to other resorts. Lots of entertainment options every day! Rooms and facilities were a little older and generally hospitality was good. It was very hard to get drinking water as the fridges in the room didn’t supply much, and the bottles you got from the bar were very small. We ended up asking the waiter to fill up our bottles which definitely helped.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Over the week learned our names, we had such a great time. Clean rooms, our room had a beautiful ocean view which was absolutely beautiful. The beach was well maintained , we had so much fun in the lazy river. We did an excursion and the hospitality was exceptional. I would definitely come back.

The resort was amazing, the staff were so friendly and warming. The lazy river and the bartenders at the pool bar had to be one of the highlights of our trip! The beach was murky but we didn't spend alot of time there so didn't bother us. We absolutely will be coming back just flying with a different company as that was the worst experience ever coming home..

The place was very nice. The room were good. The grounds were good. The food was awesome. The drinks were good But no nightlife No entertainment in the evening they do have a disco, but like five people there I went a couple of times Would

We had an amazing time at this Resort! The pool was incredible! It had a lazy river & a big slide. We had so much fun and were in the water most of the time. The workers were friendly & easy to understand as they spoke English. The food was very good. Our Air Transat representative was hardly at the resort. She had set up a first meeting for the next day at 2:00 and did not show up. We had to call her & finally showed up and told us I am not that late!!! The beach was small & not as nice as some of the other beaches I have been to. The weather was very nice but windy all the time. I would return to this Resort as I loved the Lazy River & the slide!!

The restaurants offered a great variety of food choices. The grounds were clean and the staff were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the steel drum band and the Ragae music during the evening entertainment.

Just got back from this resort, I had an awesome stay, staff were friendly, room was clean, food was decent. I’m very fussy with food, but I always found something to eat. Their dinner rolls were amazing….The grounds were kept tidy, the beach was kept tidy, a daunting job keeping up with the seaweed and garbage that comes ashore every night. I would go back tomorrow if I could. The only complaint I had was the evening entertainment was terrible.

I would unfortunately not return to this hotel. Sunwing provided me with a room that faced a construction site, there were always five men outside of my balcony working so I did not get to use it comfortably. The bathroom was dated and did not even have a bathroom fan. The first day I entered the resort I was guilted into attending a meeting that took 3.5 hours away of my Vacation time. They were asking my family to invest 40k this week into the hotel. The food was hit or miss. There was garbage and seaweed all over the sand of the beach area ( no one cleaned it, I saw the same garbage for the entire week) and the beach itself was filled with gross seaweed touching your legs and feet. They also have a sign suggesting people wear water shoes and they have sea urchins. Some areas of the hotel are freezing and yet I heard everyone say their air conditioning doesn’t work at night (including mine) Not sure what’s going on there. The accessibility rooms do not have a walk in shower you still need someone to lift you into a tub. There were pilllows randomly around the hotel due to leaks and paying an additional $40 usd to attend the three palms restaurant was not worth it and should have been included at no extra cost. On the bright side, the staff are wonderful. Simply amazing.

The resort was beautiful, had numerous restaurant options as well as wide buffet variety. Servers always provided a smile and lovely service. Daily games and activites for the family by the pool, hosted by the entertainment krew. Jordan, Kevesha, Shenai and Zo were great game hosts and always kept the energy high and fun. Check-in and check-out was fast and smooth, had amazing service with Sarahfina at the front desk. She provided complimentary birthday package surprise for both my children. Overall, great experience, would definitely recommend it and will be going back next year!

Our family had a fascinating week vacation staying at the Rose hall Hilton resort and Spa. All staff and senior management were always helpful and accommodating. Beautiful peoples, great foods and amazing resorts. Look forward to returning again to beautiful Jamaica. Ron.

This was far from our first time to Jamaica. Food options were extensive, and very tasty. Coffee shop was fantastic. Staff and food and drink options were top notch. Staff at most were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is mid sized, and easily walkable. Hotel rooms well appointed, but could use a refresh here and there, and in parts of the hotel in general. Although towel cards were not distributed to us, we kept being asked for them. This is a outdated practice that should be scrapped. Shelter from the sun was also an issue. Although more umbrellas have been on order for many months, awnings and other options could be looked at for other areas in the meantime. Lazy river/slides are awesome. Evening entertainment was so/so. My only real negative is the expected tipping, everywhere. More than any other hotel in Jamaica I’ve ever been to.

Was down there over New Years. No problems with the flights but I would recommend carry on and not checking bags. Heard lots of stories of missing baggage. Transfer from the airport seamless. Check in seamless. They can change larger US bills into 1s and 5s for tips. Bring some US cash. The resort was great. Rooms clean, buffet good. Went to the Caribbean, Italian and Seafood restaurants. All good. Pool was good. Beach was good. Sometimes the service was a little slow (but it is Jamaica). All good, would recommend

We looked at a lot of reviews before we made our decision to stay at this resort but the very favourable reviews did not reflect reality. Rooms were very average and a bit dated, albeit clean. Walls were paper thin, so we could hear neighbors in other rooms- very noisy. Food was quite good. Most Hotel staff were lovely and worked hard to offer good service. Pictures of resort were incredibly well done and made it appear nicer than it was but overall it was a decent experience.

Great Family Hotel. Service is good, Food is Good, Top Shelf alcohol ( I drank Hennesey and Gray Goose all week) Place is beautiful. Staff is really nice. Beach is really nice , Pools are fantastic. Don't overthink it. Just GO!

The hotel was just perfect. Wasn't too big, walks to get places were short and the staff was amazing. As usual for jamaica, the food was amazing. The only thing that can be inproved is more activities for the kids from the staff. For a family resort it was surprising to see nothing for the kids being done. Pool amd water slides were fantastic.

While this resort shows some dated wear, understandable given 2 yrs of covid. It was very clean and the staff was excellent. Food was very good to great for our liking. This was our 3rd time at this resort, it is fantastic for families.

It was great but not without it’s problems. We liked many of the staff but three went above and beyond in our opinion. That would be our house keeper Collette, Rayjay who took care of cabanas by the water slide and our concierge Tyjane. They made our stay better and we look to return.

The grounds were beautiful but the resort is very small. Beach is rocky and big waves. Ai conditioning didn't work. we were offered on our fourth day to relocate to the Iberostar. Much better resort and we were not charged anything extra. Iberostar was amazing

We just returned from a fabulous week at this resort. The hotel and grounds were kept in pristine condition and the Covid protocol went above and beyond our expectations. They took great care to ensure that both their employees and guests are kept safe. The wearing of masks was compulsory throughout the whole resort, with the servers wearing goggles, a face screen and a mask. Hand sanitizer stations were in abundance and they had an attendant sanitizing the buttons on the elevator. The food was amazing and the Jamaican people were warm, friendly and accommodating, as always. We would definitely stay at this hotel again 😊

Food was excellent! Service was excellent. Activities were great. I had fun. I liked the slide in the pool but next time wouldn’t focus on a hotel with a water park only because I have mobility issues. Although it was very fun. U don’t even have to leave the resort because there’s so much to eat, drink and do. Close to airport. It was great there.

Great hotel with lovely grounds and amazing facilities. Food in all restaurants top quality but we especially love the golf club restaurant. Staff are so accommodating and friendly. Arlene in the golf club restaurant is such an asset to the resort. Thanks! We will be back!

The Hilton Rose Hall is a beautiful family, couple and friends resort. They have amazing staffs and everyone is so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and so was the entertainment at night. I have zero complains about this resort ; my friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Rose Hall.

A group of 10 of us vacationed at this resort and had an amazing time. With a mix of adults, kids and babies, there was something for everyone and we truly all had the best time. The service, food and overall resort was impeccable! My husband and I’s last trip was our honeymoon at a Sandals and we can honestly say that the service and food at the Hilton was at par!

We just recently got back from our vacation at the Hilton Rose hall resort in Jamaica Montego Bay. I cannot emphasize the outstanding service that we got from the people working at the resort. They were all extremely friendly and were always asking if we needed anything else or what they could do to make our stay better. The resort was clean and the food was amazing !!! I can’t describe the amazing time we had one of the best places I’ve visited to date!!!

Returned as a group with 3 newcomers to this resort because we had such a good vacation there the first time around. Absolutely love the facilities, food & especially the friendly, helpful staff. Best lazy river ever with pool bar & hot tubs & only resort we've been to that allows night swimming in the main pool! The jerk chicken & pork hut & hotel & beach coffee bars with fresh baked cookies are such a bonus. Staff even deliver drinks & snacks to the beach areas & always with a warm Jamaican smile! My only suggestion would be to purchase more inner tubes for the lazy river as this time around there weren't as many.

We stayed here for the second time Nov 3. Have traveled several times to the Caribbean and many rimes to Jamaica. This is a good resort depending on what you are looking for. No complaints about the food very good and lots of variety. Staff is amazing and definitely go the extra mile. They have a great coffee shop as well. The resort has a lazy river as well as 2 hot tubs and a water slide. As you can imagine it comes with a lot of children. The beach is small but swimmable. The beds are great however the rooms are just average and there are only 2 slow elevators to get you up to your room or down to the lobby. Overall it was an average Hotel for a good price. Nothing too bad to say about it. But we travelled with a group so it was more about the company than the accommodations.

The Rose Hall Hilton did not disappoint. It was obvious that every effort was being made to present the resort as an outstanding vacation destination. The setting was beautiful, the rooms were nicely decorated, spacious and clean. All public areas were well maintained, food was excellent and offered good variety. We really appreciated the theme days/nights and the high quality of the entertainment. The customer service was exceptional. Everyone - from front desk to servers - went over and above to welcome us and to make our stay an enjoyable one.

This resort truly does have the whole package for families. All of our requests were accommodated, food was fantastic, service was exceptional. We traveled with friends of ours and their children as well and we already cannot wait to go back. Rooms: Simple, clean. We stayed on the ground floor and had a walkout room which was so convenient to have as we were one minute from the waterpark ,buffet and spa. Restaurants: BBQ was delicious, Mangos and seaside both had great options for lunch, we booked two a la cartes and the italian was pretty good and three palms was alright ( the food and atmosphere seemed kind bland ). Beach: Private, lots of lounge chairs, small but perfect for small kids. Waterpark: So much fun. We had the best time and would recommend this resort to any family looking for a vacation with their kids.

The staff and chefs are superior. food was excellent and the service and extra mile that everyone goes to please customers was fantastic. One manager arranged a private lunch for our big group of 11 just to make us happy as our flight was delayed and did not get to use the resort on the first day. That is considered superior customer service as this was not the hotel's fault but they wanted us to be happy while we stayed there.

Resort was nice and convenient for us we were on main floor so easy access to lobby, restaurants etc. Food was great especially the jerk hut! And staff was friendly. Shows were ok. The rooms were ok. Only issues we would encounter was they only leave a couple of bottles of water in room we had to call everyday for water and towels. They were never replenished with what was used. Other than that nice family vacation

This was the best all inclusive we have been to. Great location, facilities and grounds excellent and the restaurants were exceptional. Lovely staff who could not do enough for you. We would certainly go back for a family holiday

Very safe, lots to do, friendly staff, lots of variety in food/restaurant choices. Close proximity to airport. Lazy river and water slide were great to have. Pools & Grounds very clean. Very hard working staff. Interesting location with Rose Hall mansion and old ruins of the sugar plantation aqueduct nearby.

Our family of six just returned from a wonderful week at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort. We were very impressed with the kindness and attentiveness of staff, cleanliness of the rooms and public areas and quality of the dining options. We thoroughly enjoyed the large beach, pools and water park as well. With so many activities offered, our kids (aged 15,18,21 and 22) were always busy and entertained. We all really look forward to returning to Jamaica and this resort again!!!

Great resort well maintained very clean but lack of entertainment around the pool not alot of entertainers to keep you busy all day and night but very nice people and excellent service by all employees and food was ok

Good service. Good food especially on Jamaica night. The buffet was a little repetitive and didn't have a large variety of items for children. Entertainment was average. I think it is best to go when the price is cheap. The beach was rocky and had seaweed. Lazy river was great. Pool and lazy river were well supervised. Kid friendly resort. Safe for kids to roam by themselves which is a plus. Overall, we had a great time there and enjoyed ourselves.

Another amazing stay at the Hilton Rose Hall! We travelled with 2 other families and they were very accommodating with ensuring we had rooms next to each other. All the staff were incredible and the kids LOVED the kids club. They had so much fun there we had to convince them to leave. It would be great to have options for kids in the evening so parents can have some time but overall great programming. Food was amazing, lazy river and pools were wonderful. Its a smaller resort so you aren't fighting for loungers or towels each morning. This is our second time here and we enjoyed.

Overall, we were very pleased with this resort, and will definitely go back again. Transfers to and from the airport and check-in were very good. The room was a standard hotel room, a little wear and tear showing, but very clean. The air conditioning worked great throughout the hotel. The buffet was very good, offering many choices. If you couldn't find anything to eat on this buffet, you are way too fussy. The grounds are very well manicured, lots of things to keep kids busy: waterslides, tubing down a lazy river, and other activities for a fee (parasailing, catamaran, etc). The drinks were very good and they did not skimp on the alcohol. There is a great coffee shop to get your early morning fix, with baked goods available to snack on. In the coffee shop, there are 4 computers available to print your airline boarding passes to come home. We had a couple of small things that concerned us. We had been advised to book the restaurants about a week before we got there, so we booked the Luna and got confirmation that we had our reservation. On the night of our reservation, we arrived at the restaurant only to find it 'closed' for the evening. When we enquired about our reservation, we were told they switched us to the Three Palms. When we asked if they had tried to contact us, we did not receive any sort of explanation. By the way, we would have had to take a shuttle to the Three Palms, which would have involved some planning had we known about the change of restaurants. That was disappointing and frustrating. Make sure you confirm with the concierge any reservations you have made in case they've done a switch-a-roo on you. The other thing I was expecting was a daily cleaning of our room like in most hotels, but here the room cleaning did not happen until two days after we arrived. Not that we needed much, but our garbage cans were full and we were running out of toilet paper. However, the bar fridge got replenished daily. All in all, a lovely place to spend a vacation but little inconveniences that you would not expect from the brand 'Hilton'.

The rooms were good, and service was very good. The food overall was OK. The best part of this resort was the water park for kids and grounds! The kids club was nice too. The kids had a blast. The pool was good but not a lot of shaded seats. The cabanas were all very pricey and many things were extra. A good number of food selections but not late at night.

From our arrival to departure, the hotel and staff were amazing! Food was excellent, service in the restaurants was fabulous, and staff during the day were attentive and very friendly. Thea atmosphere of the hotel is very much catered to families. Entertainment was well organized and even with some rainy days, staff worked to change schedules and entertain as best as possible. The resort was well laid out and easy to maneuver. Beach was well maintained and chairs were plentiful. Pools, water slides, and lazy river we well kept and always functional. Staff were very watchful of the weather and would not allow us in the water if thunder/lightening began. Safety appeared to be a top priority. Rooms and grounds were kept very clean. Transportation to the resort was quick (approx 10 mins from airport) and well organized. We would recommend this resort to anyone visiting Jamaica and will be visiting again :D!

Lots of space for family activities as well as areas for adult beach relaxation areas. Lazy River was a hit for kids from 3 to 90! Beautiful views when walking the Golf course. Restaurant service and food are excellent. Lots of variety of healthy food choices including beverages. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Golfers...check out the on site highly rated and challenging Rose Hall golf course.

The grounds were lovely, the food excellent, service very friendly, polite and intuitive. We went for a family wedding and that went off very well except for the rain but that is out of anyone’s control. As a senior with serious mobility issues I have a few suggestions. The beds are much too high. They are very comfortable but need a footstool to get into\onto it. I travel with one but it is really too small to be truly safe. We had to pay extra to get a room with a walk in shower. A few more automatic doors would help as would a few chairs at the pool. The lounges are not useful to me. The main dining room was very very noisy due to hard surfaces but the food choices were great. The specialty restaurants were very good and not so noisy.

This hotel was great. We have been to Jamaica 3 times and many times to mexico and punta cana. This has been by far the best resort. Food was good lots of options, facilities were well kept, and the best part was the staff. Everyone at the Hilton rose hall made us feel welcome and important, always with a smile in their face and happy to be serving you!

We had a blast we brought our twins 15yrs old, they had a blast Service was great, people very friendly willing to go above and beyond to help you, property is really clean, they are on top of everything at the Hilton rose, The only thing I had hard time with was the food. A little spicy for me , but there was always pasta chicken nuggets and stuff like that,

This is a fabulous family hotel with a large, sandy beach and several outdoor swimming pools. The staff are courteous and friendly and go out of their way to help you. The food is fabulous and plentiful. My only issue was with reception which is not adequately staffed. When our group of 40 arrived there where only two people on reception. Each did the best they could but it took over an hour for us all to check in. At later times when I went to reception there were still only one or two people on staff so I had to always wait a long time to talk to anyone. This is a silly problem that could and should be easily fixed. Reception is the first contact a visitor has with the hotel and that first impression is important. There are stations for five staff on reception and those five plus a few others should be on reception during the day when large groups are coming in.

The hotel is very nice. It is very clean, beautifully landscaped. The food is delicious, with prompt and excellent service in Fresh the main dining room. The speciality restaurants shine. The staff at the bars are friendly, efficient and cognizant of underage patrons. The coffee bar was a great addition not only for a good cup of coffee but a quiet place to converse with friends or to use ones laptop for personal emails or for business. Our room was well appointed, comfortable, clean, and in a lovely quiet location away from the hustle and busell. We were there for our daughters wedding and the venue was perfect in a lovely gazebo. Unfortunately it rained but the staff quickly and seamlessly moved the reception inside. The wedding dinner was at the Three Palms restaurant making the occasion very special. The nightly entertainment was good and suites all ages. The Silver Steeband was superb with exceedingly talented musicians. The Lazy River is so much fun for all ages. This all inclusive resort is suitable for all ages from infants to the octogenarians. The lifeguard staff are vigilant and quick to handle tenuous situations, Getting around is easy and very acccesible for those with mobility issues. We were impressed with the overall security of the resort making it a safe and secure place for children, preteens and teens.

We loved the resort. It was just the right size. You could always find a beach chair without having to get up at 7am to claim one. I can't say enough good about the staff. They were always friendly and polite. Every area inside or out was so clean. We would go there again

Had a great time at resort. Staff were courteous and professional. Room was clean. No problem making reservations for restaurants. Food was good. Jamaica night excellent. Never lines for food or waiting to get seat. Lots of chairs at pool beaches. Great place for family.

I enjoyed my stay. Great food, good beach, lots of open loungers at the pool and beach, mostly friendly staff, decent facilities, met lots of good people, fun water park. I'd for sure consider coming back at some point

The Hilton Rose Hall & Spa Resort was simply a marvellous place to stay in Montego Bay Jamaica. From the cleanliness of the hotel itself to the immaculate lush grounds, it is a first rate hotel. Minutes from the airport, friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent food throughout their buffet, many restaurants and the al carte provided. The cuisine is very authentic and something for everyone. The drinks provided were great, a feature rum drink every day, ice cream bar available, Jerk Hut on the spot provide BBQ Jerk Chicken in minutes, two great baristas, one in the main lobby and on the beach. If you are coffee lover their own grown Blue Mountain Coffee is the best we have experienced in the Caribbean. very well organize and run hotel, overall we were very impressed with our stay. All in all a wonderful stay and experience for us at The Hilton Rose Hall & Spa, we would highly recommend this resort to anyone...couples, families, wedding parties, they were all present. The hotel has so much to offer that I am sure I have missed. Believe all the reviews before this one, you will enjoy yourself at this resort.

The accommodation at the Hilton Rose Hall Hotel & Spa was excellent. We did have an initial problem with the location of our room. However, this was eventually resolved. The food in the main dining room and the speciality restaurant was both interesting and enjoyable. Unfortunately there were some minor setbacks: transfers to and from the airport were poorly organised and took far to long considering the proximity of the resort to the airport. Also the Sunwing staff on site (both at the airport and at the resort) did not demonstrate a high level of competence. We were actually directed to the wrong bus at the airport which delayed our arrival at the hotel. Despite Tripcentral Agent Theresa Gates providing gift cards to enable us to use the VIP lounge, the experience was not particularly pleasant. The gift cards only provided a portion of the admission cost and didn't allow for booking online. The Mobay lounge staff will sell tickets at the airport, but the fee does NOT guarantee admission! we had to wait in line for quite a while until other travelers left, we actually had a little more than half hour to relax. Partialy due to the flight boarding ahead of schedule.

Great coffee and juice bar by the beach and Moonstone restaurant is awesome for Pizza!!!! Lazy River is awesome !!!!! Could use a better stage for the nightly entertainment though.. having the cement floor as the stage is not so nice!!!!

Just got back from this wonderful resort. Amazing food and very clean! Friendly staff and lots of things to do! The only thing that I would complain lightly about would be that the beach had a bit of seaweed and was very shallow. Other than that is a 10/10 for me!

The hotel was just beautiful, all the staff was very hospitable. Rooms clean daily with fresh towels. Variety of foods to choose, love going to sea side grill restaurant for special of the day, patties just delicious also the midnight snacks, cannot ask for anything more as I am a food lover, fresh fruits daily. The grounds well kept, all the staff are so friendly always there when you need something. The kids area just unbelievable, enjoy the water slide and lazy river. Overall my stay was very enjoyable and amazing. There is something for everyone to do.

Absolutely beautiful. Food was amazing every day, grounds are gorgeous, staff are all friendly and a couple of them really made the trip that much more enjoyable. Only complaint was that our fridge was stocked only twice in the week we stayed, even when It was empty most of the time, either way It was honestly the best week of my life. I'll be back again and again.

This hotel was great. We stayed for 6 days 5 nights and did a lot. We went on 3 tours and always caught the nightly entertainment. The resort food was amazing and the staff was so great! The bartenders were so friendly and always willing to make us new and exceptionally good drinks. Maurice and Charles were SUPER great bartenders and make the best 'dirty bananas '. As for service on the beach Devolin was the man. Always attentive and got our drinks so quickly.Be sure to check out the jerk hut on the beach, it is fabulous. If you go to seaside restaurant ..you must as for Latoya. What a great server. She always made us feel so welcomed. We can't wait to go back . Whether you are there with friends or family they have something for everyone.

The staff are great and really gave a lasting impression. Lots of beach space to accommodate those who are looking for some R&R. Food is delicious and lots of diversity! Would recommend to anyone looking for an above average vacation.

My family and I had a great stay at Hilton Rose Hall. The service was exceptional and the food was great. We loved the waterslides and lazy river and the beach was very clean. We will be back some day soon!

Our family visited the resort for a 1 week stay. There were 3 adults and one toddler age 2. The property is beautifully landscaped and the common areas were always clean. I must have went around the lazy river about 5 times per day. My son really enjoyed the small waterslide. The food buffet was good, with a large selection. Each day had a theme. We especially loved the Jamaica theme which included jerk pork, chicken, shrimp and snapper. I would suggest a better menu at the a la carte restaurants. The food was bland and the dessert entee and side dishes seemed scanty. The wifi had great reception around the property. ( I read bad reviews on trip advisor) but I was snap chatting, facebooking and instagraming without a hitch. The only downside is you have to login every 24 hour. The room was always clean when we got back. Overall we collectively give the resort a 8 out of 10, 10 being very good.

Very clean and extremely helpful staff; We initially had a problem with the our room on the ground floor (requested full ocean front) but the an outdoor restaurant partially blocked our view including the heavy guest traffic walking by to the beach was uncomfortable. After three nights we were transferred to the 6th floor of full ocean view which was great. The entire resort was a pleasure to stay at; we would definitely return.

The grounds are beautiful, easy access to all areas, well kept, rooms are nicely cleaned, enough towels in the room, water park was a lot of fun and great for families, ample beach/pool chairs, food was very good, so much variety beach was small but clean as workers groomed beach every day

Wonderful Hotel! Great staff! Great food! Lots to do! Amazing! We would go back in a heartbeat!!! Kids had a blast at the lazy river and waterslides! Beach was beautiful! Resort was spotlessly clean , grounds were beautiful. Rooms all have great views!

My husband and I traveled with our daughter, son in law and two granddaughters. Our experience from the time we arrived to the day we sadly left was excellent. The staff of this resort were friendly and very helpful. The food was 5 star. My husband and I experienced the dinner for two down by the water. What an experience! The pools, grounds and beach were meticulously maintained. We were so pleased with this resort that we have recommended it to our friends who are looking for a family getaway.

This is our third time going to this resort. We love going everytime. The Jamaicans are so welcoming. The food is always fresh. It is a great resort for families. The pools are very inviting since the temperature is not too cold! We also enjoy the shows. If you are looking for a high end resort, this is not the resort for you. The beach is nice but not the best since it has some seaweed.

Hilton Rose Hall was great! The lazy river, pools and beach were a hit for my 3 and 5 year old. The staff were very friendly. It's 14 minutes from airport. We upgraded to a partial ocean view and was worth the extra money. We plan to return again next year!

Just returned from a great time. This resort has everything required to just sit back and enjoy. Good food, amazing service, nice beach, good activities for the kiddies, adults, along with good evening entertainment. Highly recommend this resort to anyone trying Jamaica for the first time or returning.

I'm not going to lie I was a little sceptical when we first arrived but to my surprise I was totally taken away by the hospitality we received from check in to check out, buffet was good night time entertainment was just enough and all the restaurants were good especially the Italian restaurant that was fantastic and that's coming from myself an Italian!! Oh one more thing the lazy river was the icing on the cake and no it's not just for kids. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Two years in a row to the Hilton Rose Hall with the family. Kids are 10 and 13, and are easily entertained by the awesome water park. Overall, the resort is not too big and not too small. Overall perfection and relaxation. Private beach for Hilton guests is awesome and you can feel at ease in letting kids run free. I should also mention the staff are simply the best. Jerk Hut on beach is to die for. Will be back,and have recommended this resort to colleagues, and they have gone and loved it.

The resort provided a number of outstanding features ; Terrific property with various zones for quiet times or family fun The food quality and variety was excellent with a number of restaurants available The hotel itself was solid and the service and attitude of staff was also outstanding

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful grounds very friendly staff! Exteremely Accomodating for my granddaughter' said gluten free needs. Food was good. Entertainment was lousy. Air Transat was not great. Changed our original departure from 12:30 to 3:30. Then the plane was delayed for 3 hours. We arrived at 12:00am. Lost half a day. Our return was changed to 8:00pm so we were very happy. Make up for what we lost. The flight was again changed to 11:30. Another day lost. Will notbook Air Transat again. Can we obtain any compensation?

Very clean and well kept resort, from bathrooms, hotel room, dining areas and grounds everything first rate. Staff was all very friendly, courteous, helpful and efficient. Was perfect for grandchildren. I would go to this resort again.

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained as well as the ground, the food was excellent. The entertainmemt was fun and the water park was perfect for the kids and older kids as well ;) The staff was very friendly and really good.

I just returned from a family trip to Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. I had an amazing time. The staff was great. Service was wonderful. Great variety of food. If you're looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine, they've got it. The new Waterpark is fantastic. Great for everyone. The rooms were great. Pillows could use a little updating. Having a clock in my room would have been nice. The complimentary WiFi throughout the resort was great. Grounds were kept immaculate. Definitely won't go hungry or thirsty. ATM was unavailable during my stay which was inconvenient. I enjoyed the fact that the locals didn't harass me into buying anything. Everyone was so friendly. Great family resort. Lots of entertainment for kids and teens. Room service and housekeeping were great. Adult nightly entertainment needs a little work. As a young single girl I wanted to stay up late and dance. The vibe at the disco didn't offer that which was one of the very few things I was disappointed about. The buffet for lunch needs more options. Will definitely come again with family. Next time I'll try an adults only resort for more entertainment.

Hilton Rose Hall is an older hotel and it shows in the rooms. Common areas are updated and clean and outdoor spaces for families are amazing. Service was very good. Staff were attentive. The value for the spend is there but it would be great if the rooms were renovated and not just patched up.

We stayed at this resort from April 15th to the 22nd. I must say that by far the people/staff at this resort are fantastic. They will do anything to make your stay amazing. The resort was very clean and very well kept. We stayed with our 11 year old son. As there is a water park there are small kids. I was very happy to see the amount life guards that were throughout the resort at all times whether it be on the beach at the pool or on the lazy river/slides. The food was excellent, best I have had at any resort I have been to. If staying here you have to get the BBQ jerk chicken pizza or veggie pizza from the restaurant at the pier (Moonstones?) I believe it was called. Also the jerk chicken and veggie wrap from Mangoes is fantastic. You will not be disappointed with the food if you like this kind of food. We stayed on the 4th floor facing the water park. I have read previous reviews from people about noise, we never heard anything in our room it was very quiet and clean. The only disappointment was the ocean. The new beach is very nice but at both beaches because it was so windy it was very wavy and the water was always turned up and dirty. We didn't go in the ocean much as I like to see what is in the water with me. My only suggestion would be to sandbag off the beach area and make it better for swimming. We rented cabana's on the beach around the pool and the water park. The service is fantastic in the cabanas and would definitely do it again. All the staff including the grounds keepers are the friendliest people you could meet. You will see a man named O'Neill always working down along the beach and he will greet you with a smile and "Yeah mon" everyday. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Very pleased with the hotel, comfortable bed and rooms. The grounds were very clean and personnel was helpful and polite. The food was delicious whether the buffet, Luna di Mare, Seaside Grill and most of all the Three Palms. Loved the lazy river and water slide. The only item that was not to my liking, was the beach. Althouh water was warm, the water was not clear

hotel clean, people very help full, beach could use some work on the grade of the sand on the beach a little to much slop for the beach chairs . some of our party of 10 had problems with water from air conditioner in the rooms our didn't leak till last day leaving

Amazing resort with amazing staff. The resort was laid out well and great care was taken to ensure it was always clean. The food was good and lots of variety with theme nights in the buffet as well as the a la carte restaurants. The pools were great with a lazy river and water slides! The beach was well taken care of with staff daily raking seaweed.

Near perfection, just a fee minor imperfections. From check in to check out, you are looked after by courteus and friendly employees. The ala cartes are really well run with great food The bars have plenty yummy suggested drinks and the staff really enjoy their jobs.

Great resort. Food and beach was excellent. It really is meant for young families though. We are empty nestors and didn't clue into this until we arrived. For young children there is lot's to do including the waterpark which is part of the property. If you are looking for some quiet time without children I would stay away.

The food and resort layout were amazing. Kids enjoyed the waterpark al week, and so did the parents. The hotel staff were very friendly and the grounds were in great shape. Even with the 2 days of lousy weather, we made the best of it.

We traveled to Jamaica the first week of February 2016 and I had read a lot of mixed reviews about Hilton Rose Hall. The 15 min bus ride from the airport was a big plus but I was not immediately impressed when we entered the hotel and less so when we entered our room. The next morning however we started to realize what a gem this hotel actually is. If you are used to grand lobbys and expansive rooms the Hilton may put you off, the rooms are clean and include partial private balconies but they are hotel rooms, no frills. You will never be without a beach chair, there was numerous areas to set up for the day; the pool central to the hotel was always only half full because you had a small beach down the way and an even bigger beach a small step from that not to mention the Waterpark area. We spent most days at the Waterpark with our 1 and 3 year old. There is tons of current in the pool there but a small shallow area on the one side was perfect for the wee ones. 2 slides, 1 of which you can go down with smaller children, lazy river we did numerous times. We ate lunch most days at the restaurant there. You must book reservations for all restaurants for dinner except the buffet and Moonstone as soon as you can or you won't get in. Buffet was fabulous most days, especially the BBQ nights, never had a problem finding food the kids enjoyed. Resort was full of Canucks and Brits which made for a fun and laid back vacation. Service can be slow especially at breakfast but majority of staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Nightly entertainment was always good and very kid friendly. We tipped a few dollars throughout the day but it never felt expected. Tip * Get your coffee (espresso, latte etc..) or fresh fruit juice from the cafe on the large beach.

Property was much bigger than expected. The beach is beautiful and well maintained throughout the day. Entertainment was very good, something different everynight. Food was amazing and staff super polite and helpful.

Overall okay. Nothing special if it didn't have the Sugar Mills waterpark. Ridiculous that an "all inclusive" resort charges for room service and disallows take-out from the buffet. Cabanas throughout pool and waterpark area are "reserved" but never used. More liberal anti-smoking regulations would be nice. Walls and ceilings are paper thin (could hear low volume TV and conversations from all surrounding rooms). The "Hilton" reputation has fallen considerably in my opinion.

My lovely wife and I just returned from a vacation at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is nice and close to the airport and situated on one of the biggest beaches in the area. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained and clean. It did not matter where we ate, the food was delicious. The drinks were incredible as well. There was a daily special every day as well as many delicious concoctions that relaxed us even more. Every staff member that we encountered were very cordial and happy. We made some good friends with fellow tourists as well as staff. We will be back.

We stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall from November 9-14 2015. It is absolutely beautiful and only 20 minutes from the airport. The food was amazing and he service was fantastic. The rooms are always clean and very well kept. There were a few places that construction was being done (eg: new improved railings on the balconies of empty rooms) but everything was to improve the already beautiful resort. no complaints at all and we would go back in a heart beat!!

The lazy river and watersides were a hit. Kept the kids busy all day. Well maintained grounds and pool kept clean and safe with a very capable lifeguard team (Rollin and Mendal are great). Restaurant staff are so friendly and made every meal a fun experience (Dowayne, Alwayne, Denny, Lee-Andrew). Food is very good and Caribbean night is the best. Close to the airport but not noisy.

The hotels public areas were fairly clean. My sister's and cousin's rooms were dirty. The dining room was small compare to how many people were staying at the hotel. The service was a bit slow at times. Food was good but not as much Jamaican food as I would like. Great for families who have children 6 and up. They have a great water slide with lazy river. And a Teens zone where the kids loved it. The beaches were a bit rocky and one side of the beach seems to be a new part of the resort where they are cleaning up. The hotel was a bit on the dated side. And when we stayed only one elevator was working and so it was hard to wait for an elevator.

This was our fifth trip to the hilton, seventh trip to Jamaica ☺️ We keep returning to this resort because of the amazing staff, comfy beds and delicious food! We look forward to returning every year and spending the week with staff we have gotten to know!

the whole area is very clean, few selection of food but tasty, the only thing that we noticed, the staff are not that friendly and everyobody seems miserable and unhappy, expects to be given tip at all times.

Everything is well organized, clean rooms, fresh linens, ground areas are well kept, delicious food and excellent customer service. Shopping mall nearby and a lot of great adventures and breathtaking places, free shuttle bus to take to mall, amazing golf course, the lazy river and waterpark, our kids enjoyed so much, the aqua fit everyday and the Zumba instructor, who is very friendly and full of energy.

Overall this is a great family resort-we recently stayed as a 4 family group-11 people in total covering 3 generations. There was plenty to do for everyone and the waterpark was our home base every day-we thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river, and the waterslides and swimup bar were great too. The food at the restaurants was good but there could have been a better selection and variety for the vegetarians. The beach area was small and on windy days a lot of seaweed was blown in but that didn't stop any of us from enjoying the ocean water too. The grounds were well cared for and all the resort staff were freindly and engaging. The rooms were what you would expect from a 4 star resort-fairly basic but clean and in good shape. We would definately return in the future....

Had a great experience here with my 1 year old son and mother. Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, beach was nice for 3 of the 4 days we were there. When they have a storm it brings up a lot of seaweed which covers the beach and the first several feet of water, but the staff tries to clear it up as quickly as possible. Awesome pool and nice waterpark. Food was amazing, lots to chose from especially at the buffets! Close to airport. Only complaint was that dinner started at 6pm at the buffet and all a la carts and my son usually eats earlier than that so snacks were a necessity.

The Hilton is a beautiful resort with lots to do for kids , my 12 year old never complained once of being bored. The service was a little slow so pack your patience, the food wasn't as good as I expected it to be considering it's The Hilton but was ok. The beach is the worst I've seen in Jamaica yet. I would recommend this resort to families with kids... fun fun fun!

Fantastic food, amazing service, super friendly staff I would definitely go back . Beach a little short and somewhat rocky that would be the only down fall and what makes this resort a 4 star instead of five. The pool and lazy river area is beautiful and make sure to try a dirty banana at the bar .... : )
