Day 1 | Depart Canada
Day 2 -5 | Welcome to São Miguel
- Upon arrival in Ponta Delgada, take a transfer to your hotel and check in for the next 4 nights. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring your surroundings.
- São Miguel, the "Green Island" of the Azores, is a volcanic paradise known for dramatic landscapes. Some of its natural attractions include crater lakes (Sete Cidades, Furnas), lush tea plantations (Gorreana), hot springs (Terra Nostra and Caldeira Velha), and black sand beaches, offering adventures from hiking and thermal bathing. Plus, vibrant Ponta Delgada is ideal for nature lovers and culture seekers seeking tranquility and discovery amidst the stunning Atlantic beauty.

- Experience one of the most unique geothermal areas in the world and see fumaroles, hot springs, and boiling water pools. Enjoy a traditional “cozido” lunch, a local dish slow-cooked underground using natural geothermal heat. The tour includes entrance to Terra Nostra Park, home to a magnificent botanical garden and a large thermal pool rich in iron and minerals—one of the island’s most iconic experiences. Visit Furnas Lake, the village center, and several viewpoints that showcase the lush, tropical landscape of this extraordinary valley.

Day 6 - 9 | São Miguel to Angra Terceira
- After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Ponta Delgada and board your transfer to the airport, where you’ll board a flight to Terceira. After your arrival at Terceira, you’ll take your transfer to the hotel, where you’ll be staying for the next 4 nights.
- Terceira, the "Lilac Island" of the Azores, is a volcanic gem known for its stunning green landscapes, UNESCO World Heritage city (Angra do Heroísmo), rich history, vibrant culture and delicious food. It’s also famous for outdoor adventures like hiking volcanic trails, exploring caves (Algar do Carvão), whale watching, and swimming in natural pools (Biscoitos). It offers a blend of European charm with colourful plazas, festivals, and a slower pace, attracting families, solo travelers, and nature lovers seeking a unique mix of relaxation and exploration.

Day 10 | Return to Ponta Delgada
- After breakfast, check out from your hotel and take your transfer to Terceira Airport to board your flight back to Ponta Delgada. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for one last night.
- Enjoy your last few day exploring Ponta Delgada and its surroundings.

Day 11 | Return to Canada
- After breakfast, take your transfer to the airport and board your flight home to Canada.
