Day 1 | Belize City International Airport – Dangriga

Fly to Belize City.

• Upon arrival, collect your bags and go through customs and immigration. You will then catch a domestic flight to the coastal town of Dangriga. Upon arrival there, you will be met by an Island Expeditions driver who will transport you to your eco-resort in the Southern Maya Mountains, where you will check in. 
• Enjoy a welcome drink upon arrival, meet fellow guests, and select your guided activities for the next couple of days. Spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 2-3 | Bocawina Rainforest

• Catch the incredible sunrise every morning through the mists and explore the jungle after breakfast. Enjoy the local facilities and nearby attractions, and take part in all available on-site adventures such as ziplining, waterfall rappelling, guided hiking or birdwatching.
• While off-site tours are not included, you can book tours to Mayan ruins, cave explorations, chocolate making processes, horseback riding, and more!

Day 4 | Bocawina Rainforest to Placencia

• Take a transfer to Placencia right after breakfast.
• Upon arrival at Umaya Resort & Adventures, settle into your room or head out to the pool area to relax. Enjoy your day at leisure.

Day 5-7 | Placencia Beach

• Spend the next three days at leisure discovering the Placencia Peninsula and surrounding area at your own pace.

Day 8 | Placencia – Belize City

• The return transfer will be provided to the local airport in Placencia where you will catch your connecting flight to Belize City before taking your return flight back to Canada.
