Day 1 | Depart Canada

  • Fly to Edinburgh.


Day 2 | Edinburgh - Stirling

  • Upon arrival at Edinburgh Airport, make your way to the car rental area to pick up your rental car, then drive to Stirling Castle, situated upon a volcanic plug with a wonderful view over Stirlingshire. After, head to Bannockburn’s interactive visitor’s centre, depicting one of the most important battles in Scottish history, or the Wallace Monument which commemorates William Wallace.

Day 3 | Stirling – Loch Lomond – Oban / Fort William

  • Leave Stirling and drive to the west coast via Loch Lomond, the largest lake in Great Britain, known for the tranquil beauty of its wooded shores and islands. 
  • Continue along Loch Fyne and pass by Inveraray Castle and the charming homeland of the Duke of Argyll on your way to Oban, or take the scenic route via the rugged landscape of Rannoch Moor and Glencoe, one of the Scotland’s most famous valleys.

Day 4 | Oban / Fort William – Isle of Skye

  • Drive north and take a ferry from Mallaig to the Isle of Skye, or continue via Loch Lochy to Kyle of Lochalsh and take the bridge to the Isle of Skye, the largest and most scenic of the Hebridean Islands.

Day 5 | Skye - Lock Ness – Inverness

  • Travel east to Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most iconic landmarks in all of Scotland, then continue for Inverness via Loch Ness. You may choose to stop at Urquhart Castle situated on the banks of Loch Ness. Included, take a freedom cruise by Jacobite on Loch Ness for a chance at a glimpse of the elusive monster!

Day 6 | Inverness – Pitlochry – Perth

  • Drive east of Inverness where you can visit Cawdor Castle and its beautiful gardens, or drive south via Aviemore to explore the impressive Cairngorm Mountains. Continue to Pitlochry where you may choose to visit the smallest distillery in Scotland, the Edradour Distillery. Take a stroll through its historic village before continuing south to Perth.

Day 7 | St Andrews – Fife – Edinburgh

  • Visit St Andrews where golf has been played on the Old Course since the 15th century. After a few rounds, continue along the coast via the small fishing villages of Elie and Pittenweem and cross the Queensferry Crossing with its spectacular views of the Firth of Forth.

Day 8 | Edinburgh

  • Spend the day soaking up the atmosphere of this ancient city. Visit some of its many attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Royal Family’s official residence in Scotland.
