You’ll travel north through the laid-back Sunshine Coast before heading south to the Gold Coast, where sun-kissed beaches meet lively cities. From there, you’ll journey inland to discover the serene beauty of Curtis Falls and the enchanting Tamborine Rainforest before immersing yourself in the pristine wilderness of Binna Burra, Springbrook National Park and Lamington National Park.

Your adventure concludes back in Brisbane.  This route offers a well-paced balance of coastal escapes, waterfall hikes and mountain vistas—an ideal campervan itinerary for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Itinerary

Days 1 & 2 | Canada to Australia

• Board your flight to Brisbane, Australia and commence your journey!

Day 3 | Arrival in Brisbane

• Upon your arrival in Brisbane, collect your luggage and make your way to your hotel.  
• Explore the city at your leisure, perhaps walking along the vibrant Queen Street or visiting the shady riverfront City Botanic Gardens. Brisbane City Hall offers historical photos in the museum and skyline views from its 1930s clock tower. 

Day 4 | Brisbane

• The day is yours to take in any sights you may have missed or spend some time surfing before your campervan adventure begins tomorrow.

Day 5 to 14 | Campervan Journey

• Today, you’ll make your way to the Star RV Depot rental location to pick up your campervan. From here, you’ll embark on your Aussie Road Trip Adventure for the next 11 nights/12 days before returning to Brisbane on day 14.

Day 15 | Brisbane

• Today, you will drop off the campervan vehicle by noon at the rental depot location in the Brisbane airport area.   After dropping off the vehicle, check into your Brisbane airport hotel and enjoy your last day before your journey ends.

Day 16 | Departure from Brisbane

• Make your way to the airport for your return flight to Canada.

Important Note

• The sequence of the itinerary may be altered for reasons beyond the supplier’s control, such as accommodation availability, weather, national events, strikes, etc.
• Valid Driver’s License. Full license in English. If not in English, it must be accompanied by an International Drivers Permit issued from the same country as your license or be a Certified English Translation. Must be provided upon vehicle collection.
• No off-road driving allowed, including unsealed/unformed roads, fields or paddocks
• No driving on any beach
• No smoking allowed in the vehicle
• No animals allowed 
• To ensure a smooth check-in experience, customers are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to check in online through Star RV or JUCY website one week prior to trip departure.Vehicle must be returned in the same condition you received it. A cleaning fee of up to $500 AUD for general cleaning and/or for greywater/toilet cleaning may apply.
• If the vehicle is returned late, a full hire day applies for each day until the vehicle is returned and may be subject to a $500 penalty.
• Customer(s) must provide a valid credit card in their name upon collection in case of any breach of the terms and conditions. If using a debit credit card, there will be a $300 security deposit taken.
• Failure to return the vehicle full of petrol, diesel and LPG tanks (where applicable) will incur a $30 administration fee, plus the cost of fuel to refill.

Age Requirement

• Minimum age for rental is 21 years for any campervan rental.
• Children are on request basis only in the Star RV Polaris 6
