Day 1 | Canada - Rome

  • Flight to Rome.


Day 2 |  Rome

  • Arrival at Rome airport and introduction to your tour accompanier. Transfer to your hotel to check in. The afternoon start with a guided tour of the Eternal City to explore Baroque Rome with its beautiful squares and fountains. Visit iconic sites like Piazza Rotonda with the Pantheon, Piazza Navona with its famous fountains, and then continue to one of the most iconic places in Rome, the Trevi Fountain featured in many famous films. Admire the Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone, a Baroque masterpiece, and the popular square of Piazza di Spagna with its Spanish Steps. End the day with a welcome dinner retreating to your hotel for the night.

Day 3 |  Rome

  • Begin the day with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Square, exploring renowned art collections and marvelling at Michelangelo's masterpieces. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you into the museums where you’ll get the pleasure of walking along the beautiful Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps before admiring Raphael’s Rooms and, at last, the Sistine Chapel. Then, enjoy a guided visit of St. Peter’s Square and the incredible St. Peter’s Basilica; the biggest church in the world. At the end of the visit, free time for lunch and afternoon on your own for personal visit or shopping.

Day 4 |  Roma ? Florence275 km

  • Departure to Florence, the Cradle of the Renaissance. Start the guided tour with a breathtaking view of all the city at the panoramic square Piazzale Michelangelo. After lunch, discover the city of Medici's highlights on foot with a local guide, particularly the Duomo, Giotto's Campanile, Ponte Vecchio, and more. Marvel at Santa Maria del Fiore's dome and the Baptistery's "Gates of Paradise." Explore Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo della Signoria and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Immerse yourself in the city's artistic ambiance, featuring magnificent works by Leonardo, Giotto, Michelangelo, and Botticelli. Return to the hotel, followed by leisure time in the evening.

Day 5 |  Florence ? Cinque Terre ? Florence340 km

  • Start the day with a beautiful excursion at Cinque Terre, exploring the colourful and centuries-old coastal towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Admire vibrant houses, fishing boats, and trattorias of these villages, forming the most picturesque and astonishing landscapes of Italy declared a UNESCO Heritage in 1997. Travel by train to Vernazza, known for its colourful charm, amazing panorama and relaxing culture. Continue to Monterosso, with its famed beach, seaside promenade and the famous San Cristoforo Hill. Enjoy free time for lunch. Riomaggiore, the final stop, offers narrow streets, a fishing port, and impressive panoramic views. Return to Florence for a dinner at your leisure.

Day 6 |   Florence ? Bologna ? Venice Area270 km

  • Departure to Bologna to discover the elegant city centre with its shopping streets and famous porticos, known for its important cultural and architectural heritage. From Piazza Malpighi, continue the visit toward Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore (Neptune Square and Major Square) in the heart of the city, then King Renzo’s Palace, Palazzo Podestà and the basilica of San Petronio, one of the biggest basilicas in the world. Enjoy a tasting of typical products, and a lovely glass of wine. In the afternoon, make your way to Venice.

Day 7 |  Venice

  • Transfer to Piazza San Marco for an outside-guided tour of the most iconic places of Venice, especially the legendary “Bridge of Sighs” and the Palazzo Dei Dogi, considered a symbol of the Floating City’s glorious past. Free time to have lunch and discover the city at your own pace.

Day 8 |  Venice ? Siena ? Roma550 km

  • Head to Tuscany, world-famous for its scenery, to explore Val d’Elsa and the Chianti hills. Visit a wine cellar and enjoy a wine tasting. Continue to Siena for a guided tour of Italy's Gothic capital, discovering Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Comunale and the Cathedral with its artistic treasures. Immerse yourself in the authentic soul of Siena through the different neighbourhoods called Contrade, each with its own history, traditions and colours. The true beauty of the city lies certainly in its streets and alleys, full of historical buildings, works of art and well-preserved medieval atmosphere. Depart for Rome to end the day.
