Our recent stay at Posada Real was more than we had hoped for. This resort is older but very well maintained, very clean and a true authentic Mexican experience. We cannot say enough positive things about the staff. They were attentive and gracious. We were in the all-inclusive package and the meals and refreshments were top notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area was very nice and the resort is right on the ocean with a beautiful, sandy beach access. We will be going again and will stay at this resort again.

The hotel was clean in common areas but is in need of a much needed reno. The grounds were very simple but well kept. The pool was missing tiles all over and needs repair. There was 1 main bar in the lobby and 1 by the pool. Only 1 of the bars were open during the day or evening . The Service was friendly in all areas of the hotel. Rooms were veey noisy as walls are paper thin...the room ac was noisy and the beds were uncomfortable and hard. The hotel restaurant needs a new chef that can provide some variety and flavor to the menus. The breakfast buffets were far below average and dinner was far below average food quality and variety. The pool had its own limited menu which was made to order items...nothing special for restaurant and pool food. The pool took away umbrellas for 2 days due to wind...which was something they need to fix so they can stay out and provide shade poolside! I would say the hotel and food would be a 3 out of 10 at the most.

The grounds were well kept, swimming pools were clean and well kept. A few more loungers would be good as many put their towels on the chairs in the morning then didn't use them. The room was adequate, bed comfortable, good working air conditioning, and the staff provided great cleaning, towels, coffee etc. A small table on the balcony would be nice. The staff at the hotel were excellent, A+ rating. They were so very friendly and helpful. The air transportation worked well, nothing to report on really. My only complaint about the whole experience was the way the ground transportation was handled. Although the vans were new, comfortable, with good drivers, we never got any vouchers, had no idea who the company was, no phone number, etc., left completely in the dark as to procedure for pick up etc. The night before leaving the hotel, I had the staff at the hotel call tripcentral about pickup. The lady I talked to was very nice but could provide me with no information at all. She told me to download the Air Transat App, which I did and it did give me the pick-up time, that's all. So if something was to happen where the driver didn't show what could we do. Keeping the customer in the dark like this creates a lot of stress. I think this part of the trip could be handled much better. Overall the trip was great, had a great time. Loved the beach, the sunsets, the town of Jaco Beach.

The hotel is a little dated, the rooms are clean the beds comfortable cleaning services are excellent. Overall a clean small resort the gardens pool and beach areas are spotless and maintained. The reason wea have been back four times however is the exceptional service consistent throughout all the wonderful and friendly staff. It's not for you if you're looking for a party place

We arrived at 12:30 in the morning and were greeted by staff which were friendly. In the morning the grounds and the walk to the beach were well maintained and groomed. The entertainment there was minimal to non existant. The town of Jaco was very pleasant and the food at the resort was just average and basically the same thing on the daily. The rooms were clean but very dated.

From the staff to the cleanliness and the breakfast selection to the location, this hotel was 5 star all the way!!! Each and every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful!!! The room was spacious and immaculately kept on a daily basis. Excellent quality toiletries provided! The hotel’s location is about 35 min from the airport (which was convenient), and about a 20 min walk to the Trevi Fountain. I would HIGHLY recommend a stay here, and hope to come back again soon!!! PS….the bed was BEYOND comfortable!!

Would like to speak with someone at tripcentral regarding our trip which was suppose to be an upgrade. The change to Krystal Grand and being a 4 star resort is very misleading, lots of disappointments and would like to discuss. Not satisfactory to say the least.

We enjoyed our stay at La Posada Real. Service was great, clean rooms every day. We loved the swimming pool, the bar and the food. Some staff were still wearing masks, especially waiters. We appreciated it. Will be back.

The resort was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast and lunch were good. Dinner was not great.. we ended up eating off the resort most nights. There just wasn’t much variety to choose from. No bar fridge in the room. The beds were horrible. Definitely not a fancy resort.

The moment I arrived I was really impressed by Reception and the following days the bar staff, dining staff, security staff, cleaning staff, pool staff etc. all went above and beyond to make my vacation a wonderful experience. The Hotel is clean, safe and a great place to visit with family, friends or on your own like I did. The menu was different each day and food was delicious. Each dish was individually labeled so there was no problem in deciding what to eat. Personally I ate everything ;-) The Off-site trips are excellent and the guides are knowledgeable and friendly. We just returned from ten days at the Best Western Jaco Beach. Check in was easy and all our transfers arranged for tours and by Air Transat were on time or early. The room was very basic but it had air conditioning and was spotless so that was all I needed. Pool area was beautiful and you could see the beach from the grounds, although it was not really conducive for swimming. Sunsets were gorgeous and the water temperature was perfect if you were brave enough to go in. Food was plentiful and the booking system was easy for all meals. Staff in the restaurant were wonderful and the room was always cleaned daily. My only complaint was that for the first week the music level by the pools was insanely loud, to the point of not being able to sleep at night without the AC blasting to drown it out. Days 8 and 9 it suddenly lowered to tolerable levels so maybe somebody said something? All in all a great stay. Weather was perfect, iguanas and macaws by the pool were fantastic, and the town is nearby and safe. A+

The hotel was beautiful inside. It was like stepping back in time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was super clean and sanitizer was placed all over the hotel. The breakfast that was included in our stay was delicious with a lot of options. Not your typical cereal and bagel buffet. We brought our infant and they accommodated her by giving us a crib and high chair. (Everywhere else-like restaurants, in Italy, doesn’t have these options we found out) The hotel is very close to everything. About 20-30 minutes walk to the main tourist attractions.

This resort was extremely clean. Always had the same food every day,no variety. Tilapia fish only all week. Should have different fish ever day since you're on the ocean. The service is bad at the restaurant but rooms are kept extra clean They cater to their locals. Disappointed in this resort. Beach area is amazing to see the surfers! Great location but basic resort.

This hotel is clean, great staff, quick service and fun all around. The beach has huge waves but the sunset is magnificent! Food is good but almost always the same. Mostly short term tourists. Access to town very easy and feels quite safe.

The grounds were nice and well maintained. The people were friendly. The restaurant was nice and the food was good but it was repetitive and eating similar food every day. The lunch menu at the bar was the same every day hot dog hamburger and fries or nacho chip with cheese. It would have been nice to have a different menu daily. The pool area was to hot with barely any shade area so we could not enjoy the pool any length of time without burning. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a hard time supplying clean towel for the beach. I went over 3 to 4 times before they had towels to give out after checking in. To exchange for clean beach towel it was the same it was a hit and miss to get an exchange.

Top of the list was the wonderful service and friendly staff at this resort. Rooms were clean, food was great with lots of variety, security good and visible. Grounds and pool well kept. The beach was kept clean and safe. Any maintenance issued were addressed immediately (we had some AC problems). Only negative was live entertainment at the pool, one late afternoon, that was way too loud, could not talk to anyone, even inside our room. Complaints from visitors finally got it turned down. This only happened once in the 2 weeks we were there. The tour company connected to our booking, was also wonderful. An easy walk to downtown and many great shops and restaurants. Our Tripcentral booking agent was wonderful and helpful.

This is our second time visiting the Posada Real Los Cabos, and we would definitely go back again. If you are looking for a five star resort with all the bells and whistles this is not the resort for you. But if you are looking for a clean, friendly, personable hotel that makes you feel welcomed this is it. Right from the start we felt welcome as the bell boy remembered what room we had stayed in the year before. It is smaller and easy to get around, the grounds are immaculate and scenic with most rooms having a garden and ocean view. Room are dated but maid service is great. We would suggest you opt for the partial ocean view, although most look at interior courtyard the ocean view will ensure you are on the second or third floor to show the ocean and give more privacy. try for a room on the left wing and you will have wonderful afternoon sun and partial sunsets. Thank you to Danya for upgrading our room, it made all the difference to our visit. Although there is only on restaurant (buffet) the food is always great. Jose alway had a smile and great service. The waiter service at the beach snack bar/bar is phenominal. Benito and Victor are tireless and attentive. The atmosphere makes all the guests at ease and friendly, we noticed that almost all the people we talked to had also visited multiple times, alway a good sign. It might not be for every vacationer, but if you are looking for simple and friendly with a great location you will not be disappointed. Thank you again for the stay, Julia and Paul

We were very happy with this resort. When we first arrived I was a little nervous - but it didn't take long to realize that this was truly a very special gem of a place. The buffet was very small but the food was very good. No cheesy evening shows - but rather live music in the lobby. I would definitely be willing to go back to this resort again. The staff were all very happy and friendly.

Grounds are nice, Venue overall is old - old -- Screaming out for an upgrade Rooms are nice and clean - Require upgrade of leaking faucets, plugged drains, broken tile etc. There are NO fridges or mini bars in the rooms - TV'S are foggy, unclear and work ONLY occasionally You CAN NOT drink the local water YOU are assigned TWO bottles of disposable water at check in and you are told to refill them at the large water coolers located at the end of the hall by your room during your entire stay - Ask for more water and there is an added fee to your room There are NO ice machines anywhere in the hotel except at the bar, which seem to be out of ice whenever you ask for ice We discovered our "ALL INCLUSIVE" reservation DID NOT really mean "all inclusive" as extra charges are also levied for such things as ice cream, ice, shrimp on ice (a regular menu item) Taking a sandwich or a cookie to your room is deemed as to be worthy of a "room service" charge Hot tub is at best "luke warm" and filled with infant children during the day - (Contrary to hotel posted signs saying no children under 5 years allowed - Yellow / Brown foam on the tub water appears daily, we believe this is a result of children under 5 defecating in the tub ALL DAY Adults who consume 8 to 10 alcoholic drinks over many hours and never leave their children alone in the tub during that time period may also contribute to this disgusting daily ritual The pool is cold and most of the ceramic tile is missing making it hard on your feet, cutting your toes The beach is absolutely beautiful - Far from the bar, waiters and rest rooms of course Food is not bad, refrigeration is sorely lacking ALL juices and drinks are in dispensers with cooling capability - But all are broken refridge wise making ALL soft drinks Luke warm to hot Left overs from lunch becomes dinner menu - Dinner left overs become breakfast - etc. Hot refried beans and cold wieners (referred to as sausages) are served breakfast, lunch and dinner ALL alcoholic drinks are the cheapest booze available, much too sweet and/ or salty The hotel claims it has TWO restaurants - Neither are opened simultaneously God is great, Beer is good cold and there is lots of it Staff are very nice and helpful Stay out of the hot tub and pool - Enjoy Ocean dips only - Drink only cold beer - Eat only the few good meals served each week and you will have a fine time

Clean grounds, spacious room, hard working staff who always had a smile for us, close to beach and town which is what we wanted. Food was plentiful and healthy, although more variety would be appreciated.

It was a nice resort, great for my mom and being her first time in Mexico. However, it was very small and the amenities shut down very early, which was disappointing, very friendly people though. Food was good but got boring after a couple of days

This was one of the best resorts we've stayed the reason we enjoyed it so much was it's Mexican charm and amazing staff ..weve stayed in Cancun in larger all inclusive resorts and although maybe you had more food choices...staff were always unhappy and you needed a golf cart to go from place to place in these bigger concrete resorts....everything was easy walking from your room which had a beauty view of the beach to the buffet and lobby ..food was authentic and yummy and each night they had a different theme night prime rib night to Italian...the cook always welcoming and smiling..i really can't say enough positive things about hotel and the staff ...loved it all Thanks Posadareal !!

We received great service from the get go... The rooms are excellent... the people at the desk were courteous and very helpful. The restaurant adjacent to hotel was so good... had great gluten free options. We would stay here again for sure.

The hotel is very very old and could definitely have been cleaner. The lighting system was very different than normal hotels We constantly had to ask for facecloths... the linen was definitely grey and not white. All in all the food was "FABULOUS" better than the food we had at the 5 star hotel that we stayed in Huatulco two weeks later at the Dreams Salon and Spa resort

This resort is exactly what we expected. The grounds were very picturesque and very well kept. The food and restaurants with veranda were fantastic with extremely friendly staff at all times. I cannot express just how pleased we were with the food and the variety offered over the 7 day stay. There truly was something for everyone. There was a golf course, extra buckets for kids to make castles, a foosball table. mini-golf, spa, great snack bar and beach volleyball. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was a nice treat to find hammocks out in the garden that we could use. The pool and hot tub were also well kept and there were a variety of chairs to choose from. This hotel had a fantastic line-up of entertainment as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our West Jet rep, Victor, was on site most days and also a great help for our questions. One thing that could improve is the workout area-very old equipment.

The food and the service was outstanding. We loved the authentic cuisine and the friendly staff. If you are looking for a family holiday and prefer a low-key setting without a cookie-cutter chain hotel feel - this is the place for you.

The Hotel was clean and nice but a little far from the beach. The food was good, the rooms were very clean. It is close to town. My only complaint was that the entertainment didn't speak English only Spanish.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at Posada Real. The service was excellent, and there was a very pleasant atmosphere. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were very good. We appreciated the lack of loud music that usually occurs elsewhere all day long although on one occasion the entertainment went on quite late and was noisy. We were totally pleased with our holiday. Thank you Posada Real. My only recommendation would be to change the red house wine..

A small and amazing place, the best kept secret in Cabo this was not our first time at the posada real and it won't be our last. We actually went there to meet friends that we had met the first time and we had a ball, met some new friends too. The staff are amazing, hard working and friendly, the chambermaids did a fantastic job on our room, every day it was a pleasure to go back to the room after they had finished. The waiters and bar men were extreamly knowledgeable, courteous and helpful, Esteban, Benito and Francisco to name three. All in all a great holiday at the Posada

Not a high end resort but still very enjoyable. Good food, very friendly staff. Rooms clean and great access to the beach. Within walking distance of lots of amenities and easy bus access. Great selection for the price.

This is our third trip to this wonderful little resort and it never disappoints. Much of the staff has been here for many years and make us feel like part of the family. We have always enjoyed the food but found it to be exceptional this time. We talked to many people and a lot of them have made many return trips here and we certainly know why. The rooms could use some updating but are always clean and very functional. Looking forward to our next visit!

My partner and I have stayed at the Jaco Beach Best Western several times. We winter in Jaco every second year at a condo nearby and have our kids (5 couples) stay at the JBBW. Always a great time for all. The staff are so kind and respectful, never a hassle about anything. The food is varied, hot, nutritious and served with pride. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. With a/c and heavy curtains to provide shelter from the sun during peak hot hours. I heartily recommend the TripCentral Jaco Beach Best Western All Inclusiveness packages for value and Costa Rica as a destination for couples or families.

We really liked the size of this resort - small and personal. We met tons of really friendly people and the staff was amazing - so friendly, attentive and hard-working. The rooms were clean, not very soundproof, but then people weren't really loud for the most part so wasn't a problem for me. We enjoyed the food, great to have lunch brought to you on the beach! A good variety of alcohol and I found they did not skimp on the pouring. There was a large range of ages from small children all the way up to people with walkers - some who had stayed at this resort every year for 20+ years!

The food and service was 7.5 out of 10, more favour to the food. Had a small problem at arrival but the Sunwing rep looked after it and our holiday started. The people were excellent! Overall we had a good relaxing time...

The hotel is smaller but clean the staff is very friendly Joel and edwardo are exceptional.The meals are excellent and very flavourful we stayed for ten days and never tired of the menu. Beautiful clean beaches we saw baby turtles hatching, mantises and whales the vendors on the beach were not pushy and had a nice variety of products. We would go back again. Would rate it at 9 out of ten

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Granted, it is older and a little worn, however, it was just what we were looking for. Good food, great staff, clean, comfortable beds and quite after midnight. It was centrally located with easy access to San Jose Del Cabo, shopping and local transportation. We would go there again. Non-stop music!! Can't get away from it because the grounds are too small. It's quiet only from 1:00am until around 9:00am. Friday night is Disco night - apparently there are quiet rooms, but if you are not in one - you need the air conditioner & TV on. I recommend ear plugs - forget about opening the window!! Brutal!! Thursday & Saturday volume is about 80%. Monday night is the quietest. Always music at the pool (volume blasts when they have a program) & always music at the beach bar. Pros: No smoking on resort property - only on the town road or beach. (Noise pollution instead!). Clean, friendly staff, good food, great weather. Many Costa Rican families with children (the staff says they like the music & they are the majority). Cons: Wide sandy beach, but public - no shady spots. Transit guide advises you not to go into the town at night - not safe. Get drunk in the hotel not in town!!

This is the third time I have been there and the only thing I saw that was different was fewer beach chairs so it seemed like it was a race to get down there in the morning. The beds were a little hard . But it is my favourite place and the staff is amazing!!! I would go for service alone. It is close to shopping and isn't overly busy.

We stayed at the Maingate Resort in Kississmee from Novembrt 24th to December 1st We have stayed there many times in the past and are always satisfied with our accommodations and service I asked that our coffee maker be replaced because it was foul smelling and when we returned to the room after our day, a brand new machine was waiting for us The rooms are plain but are clean and bug free

Rooms are very small but the beds are comfortable. Staff is helpful. Easy access to all areas of Paris as the Cadet metro is just around the corner. Groceries, laundry is also very close by. Would recommend for a short stay.

This was a nice hotel. It was clean, we'll kept and quiet. Staff were very polite, helpful and we're always available to answer questions. The food was okay. It wasn't as varied as I might have hoped but reasonable decent fare. The grounds were well kept but I was disappointed that it closed at 7:00 pm every evening as a night swim would have been refreshing. Great beach access and in close proximity to the town of Jaco which was a bonus. Overall it felt more akin to a hotel than a resort as there weren't as many organized activities as I thought. Two bars and tennis courts and billiards were a nice touch.

The hotel structurally was average and the maid service was very good. The food availability was limited to a Denny's with a standard chain restaurant menu and very expensive and a bar with primary bar type offerings. There were no restaurants closer than an $8-10 taxi ride with the exception of one a few minutes away inside a small mall that hotel staff don't mention. A local told us about it after we were there 9 days but the food was excellent and worth overlooking the facilities. The hotel is located in primarily an industrial area and sidewalks are either broken or non existent so going for a walk is not much pleasure. The location is very poor but in fairness to Best Western other large hotels other than in the city Center are no better e.g. Hilton, Country Inn &Suites.

For being a Best Western property, they should be ashamed. The outside of the property is well maintained, but step into the rooms, and everything is unmaintained.We had a dresser drawer front thar was falling off, the bath towels were horrible grey, bathmat was nasty, toilet seat was coming off. The staff were ok. Food, well, after day 3 breakfast, lunch, and supper all started to blend together. How many times can you have pork chops in red sauce? It is an older resort that needs lots of work.

Clean resort with friendly staff. Good service with adequate buffet style dining. Nice beach area, great for walking. Good nightly entertainment except for Karaoke night which was more like comedy night.

This hotel is small for a resort which makes it much friendlier. The rooms are fine, maybe need a little updating. The gardens are beautiful. When booking make sure you get an ocean view preferably on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The food was great, ignore the buffet and go for the fresh grill. The service was fantastic on the beach and in the hotel. Nothing for kids here so if you want a semi quiet holiday this is for you.

The hotel was not at all what we expected. The pics didn't match what the place was really like. It is a very small resort with a small lobby and very low ceilings. only one eating area with very few options if you are a vegetarian. The tiles in the bathroom had grout on them from the poor tile job. not at all like the picture on the internet. The bathroom sink tap leaked. The counter top in the bathroom was too wide for the toilet lid and seat to stay up without holding it. There was no mini bar and we were given 1 bottle of water for the whole day and told to refill it and the various areas were we could.

We stayed at the Posada in April 2015 and had the BEST time... the staff were great, the rooms and view were wonderful and most of all we appreciated the small-scale style of the resort. It gave us the chance to meet lots of great people from the States and Canada - great new friends!

Fantastic holiday. We travelled here between Feb 23rd and Mar 6th for our 21st anniversary. From beginning to end, this trip was perfect. Everything was clean, well maintained and the staff were friendly, pleasant and very welcoming. The food was plentiful, and good, though i have to say lunch on the beach was delicious. We traveled out to eat locally at Shooters.. highly recommend this little gem. The staff work hard to make everyone feel at home, and comfortable and to ensure your stay is enjoyable. A special thank you to Joel, Jesus,Jeremias, Benito, Gilberto, Urbano, for making our stay special. ( There are others, but names have escaped me lol) The hotel is small, and has a Mexican feel, and is not "party Central" for those looking for a relaxing stay, though, there is some entertainment in the evening, and some activities to occupy you during the day. We met some amazing couples on our stay .. ( amazing group of people.. ) Cannot wait to visit here again, as we will be back. ( PS. Rooms clean, staff is great, really nice pool area and chairs. Location is by restaurants and an outlet mall. 60 minutes to Miami, 40 to Fort Lauderdale. Right by downtown and shops. Nice for families.

This is our 2nd yr at Posada Real, very clean ,great grounds,beach area & swming pool, outdoor food service & bar , you could not find friendlier staff anywhere, they remember you from year to year. We will go back next yr if all goes well.

Great location and layout. All rooms have a nice view of the ocean and easy access to the garden, pool areas and beach. The resort provides access to bottled water in addition to purified water from the taps which was a nice feature. As per many other reviews I have read reviews that state the hotel could use a little updating which is true but it was a nice rustic feel and everything worked and was kept clean. The meals were all buffet style except for room service or the Taco Bar (which serves more than tacos) by the pool. All food was good but the only thing was the buffets got a little repetetive some times although there was always new dishes added each meal. The staff were fabulous, very curtious and helpful and for the most part great at english which was helpful due to my lack of spanish. My family and I would definately stay at this resort again.

This is our second visit to this great little resort and once again it did not disappoint. The staff is amazing and always friendly and playful. Benito at the pool bar is absolutely amazing and never lets a drink run dry. Jesus is also wonderful and informative. We will look forward to a return visit! All of the staff is wonderful and the rooms well maintained by the maids. Love this little gem!

Huge outlet mall across the hotel and you have also have target and restaurants within walking distance. If you are planning to spend a lot of time in your room, this is not the hotel for you. For sleeping, shower and go about town perfect. Staff very polite and place was very clean, I think they should get rid of the carpet.

the hotel staff are great! They handled all our questions, the restaurant staff were amazing, and the snack shack had the most amazing lunch menu. The service on the beach and around the pool was amazing! Yes beds were hard and pillows lumpy, but enough tequila and not a problem lol

The courtyard was a cute little desert with some streams and fountains that was very well maintained. The food was VERY GOOD although not the biggest selection. The pool was nice although we spent ALL our time in the AMAZING ocean! The waves were SO fun and you can see jumping manta-rays and fish a lot! The walls are quite thin but it wasn't too but since no one was up too late, probably because the bars close at 11:30pm. Not a young, partying resort.

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is execellent, the seating reception area is appealing, and the service is exceptional. We unknowingly left important travel documents in our room and the staff were so help. They held the documents in safekeeping until we retrieved them the next day.

We loved everything about the Hotel Canada! It was a great location, and we were able to walk to Termini Station as well as cute,little outdoor sidewalk restaurants for dinner. Our room was beautiful, with a painted curved ceiling and a typical Italian view out our second floor window, which had louvred shutters we could open and close. The breakfast buffet had anything you could ask for, with the only suggestion I would have would be that the lid on the warming dish for the scrambled eggs should have been monitored and kept closed so they would stay hot. When we returned from our daily excursions, the snacks provided in the bar area were very welcome. We found the Italian people to be very friendly and helpful. It was our first trip to Italy and it was magical! Can't wait to go back!

Very good breakfast, good rooms, nice lobby, good staff, close to Metro station, 5 blocks to Termini (public transportation centre). No recreation nor outdoor facilities.abcdefghiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool and/or the garden. The garden is quite unusual with cactus plants. The food is all buffet style, but always varied. Entertainment in the lobby almost every night.

Very clean ,Ideal for business. Staff is excellent !! I've stayed several times, great value for money ..Shuttle from airport! Wake up calls free phone and internet ..Easy access to buses .. All in all ideal location for first stop in Costa Rica .Stay a day or a week you will not be disappointed .. Ask about corporate rates .. They are very compliant, if you have client card .. The desk help is excellent .. Can't go wrong !!!@
