The resort in Kinetta Beach was terrible, the staff was very rude, and the buffet restaurant was even worse. The same menu was offered every day; there were local restaurants off the resort that were way better and cheaper. Our room looked like it was already falling apart the day we showed up, the gym hours were from 10-6?? It had 2 pieces of equipment. I would never recommend this resort to anyone... Everything was in the French-speaking language, which made communication difficult; the staff wouldn't even try to help with any questions we had. I seriously hope that things improve for visitors who aren't from France. We did not enjoy our stay at all. We spent my 50th birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary at Kinetta and was very disappointed in the resort.

Great location, tidy hotel pleasant smell of wonderful fragrance in reception that literally slaps our nose after long flight, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast. Only thing that I missed is a coffeemaker in the room.

Great access to the beach. Good food options. Friendly and helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip. We plan to go back with the family given the all inclusive nature and the fact that this was very affordable.

The hotel is modern; very clean and has a good breakfast buffet. The dining room overlooks the Acropolis and has a magnificent view of the Acropolis. The food menu is very is very good. We thank Stacey Levesque for all her help and recommendations, a wonderful hotel.

The hotel needs updating, but still a very nice place. Meals can get boring the quality of food is okay. The beach is fabulous, nestled below mountains, truly spectacular. The hotel is geared towards the French. Even announcements on the beach are all pre recorded in French. So if you do not speak or understand French this could be annoying. The town is very safe, walked it many times during the day as a couple. Overall good resort.

We stayed between 13 t0 26 We stayed in the last 20 years at least once a year in all inclusive resort in Caraibes and this one wasn’t all inclusive Lets start with the positive aspects Wonderful staff Ianis at reception always ready to assist, Peter the Airtransat rep very nice and always present, Kostas from the rental desk very helpful. The water crystal clear good temperature, the beach nice but you need water shoes because the pebbles are to hard on your feet, enough space and accessories The water very deep right away and no lifeguards or medical assistance if you are sick they call a taxi and send you to the clinic somewhere else. The breakfast nice with lot of options, the lunch and diner not many options and mediocre quality (not 4 stars) the restaurant for lunch has a buffet with fixes menus without desert, the evening restaurant also buffet (one day I notice the same dish as the one from lunch). The dishes were very suspicious one day I found in the pile one with rests of food. The plates, glasses and coffee mugs were all kind of shapes and colors like a student cantina. For breakfast only two coffee machine low quality with black and coffee with milk nothing else. When I asked coffee at lunch time I was told I should pay 3 Euro. The two bars where you can have drinks are not open all day. When I asked about a bottle of water or soft drink I was told I should buy. It was a fridge in the room but was always empty. The snacks were the leftover from breakfast sitting outside on 28-30 degrees heat. Airtransat doesn’t have any animation, only the French companies have some form in French (I am fluent and enjoy speaking French but this was for teenagers not adults) all the excursions have guide in French not even a greeting in English. Wifi poor and intermittent in all areas Even if I paid with Airtransat the higher price I realized I had the lower room and it was no way I can upgrade to one with see view even if I was willing to pay for upgrade. The transfer from and to airport was very well organized in a luxury minivan, Peter was personally accompanying us all the way and make sure we can check in. Conclusion if you want a real 4 stars all inclusive go to Cuba or Dominican Republic this is just my personal experience.

The Resort itself was beautiful, the rooms, the pools, dining etc, but it is not for English speaking people. This Resort caters totally to the French Speaking, either from France or Quebec. All excursions are done in French as well. When we boarded the bus to the Resort, the Transat person assumed that we spoke French and addressed everyone in French. We immediately identified ourselves as being English Speaking and then he would go out of his way to update us in English. I would not go back to the resort for this reason, nor would I recommend it to any English-speaking people. It was very unfortunate, as this is not identified by Transat as being totally French. A few other English speaking people were very upset for this mis-representation of this resort. Also the issues of many cats on the grounds, in all the restaurants. I actually saw 3 small kittens jump up on the table beside us and begin to eat a gentleman's supper as he had left the table to get a drink. The number of cats allowed to walk in the restaurants was rather disturbing and was quite distasteful for myself and others.

Rooms were clean, food was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Resort is located outside of the city of athens near the train station so very easy to commute to and from the city. Alot of french speaking guests so the entertainment was all in french but if your looking for a resort in greece thats outside of the city yet close enough to tour around this is a good place to stay. My wife and i spent our time sight seeing so we didnt mind that the resort was mainly french speaking.

The public grounds were clean and has access to wifi. Pools were great and the pebbly beach was clear and blue. The food was okay, breakfast was the same everyday. Didn’t care for much, as most part of the day we are roaming around Athens. The lunch in the Taverna was good. Love the grilled octopus. The dinner at Avra was excellent probably one of my fave! It is true the entertainment are mostly catered for the lookea, again, we like our privacy really couldn’t care much for it. But we did do some dancing when they were playing music around the beach area. Saw a shooting star. Another highlight. All inclusive drinks feels like only available from 6pm - 1130. We were told only local beer was available during the day. Overall Kinetta was a place to stay to relax. It’s not those party hotels that we were accustomed to in the south.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff who spoke some English. Not many Canadians there, mostly people were from France. We arrived on Thursday and had rain on Friday and a Hurricane on Saturday which resulted in a lot of flooding, so much so that about 300 people (my estimate) were evacuated to other hotels. We were okay except for having to walk through 4 to 6 inches of mud and water to get to the loby, and restaurants. All of the pools we swamped and could not be used. The WiFi was down for a lot of the time as a result of the storm and only limited electricity for some periods. The hotel staff worked very hard to clean up the mess and did an admirable job.

The hotel was very clean. The resort is mostly french speaking, no problem for us as we are french. Our Air Transat guide was fantastic and helpful. The food was delicious. Vine serve at lunch & dinner. Easy access to Athens main attraction by train and metro. Take the time to visit the Acropolis while you in downtown, beautiful.

Beautiful grounds, pebble beach was not desirable but the water was clear ,nice for swimming. Food was fine but not a lot of variety, same for the a la carte restaurant. Not a lot to do there, no entertainment.

You get what you pay for! This is by no means a fancy all inclusive. If you are looking for a cheap way to travel to Greece, then this is a great way to do it! However, you are an hour 45 minutes by train and metro from Athens (a day round trip for two to Athens by train and metro is approximately 30 Euro). The hotel itself is very dated with outdated furniture and the food although there is a lot of it, is mediocre. This resort is mainly for the French as the majority of the entertainment is provided by the Looke Voyages French animation team. In fact when we stayed there the Look Voyages employees did not even greet you if you were wearing a purple wristband , which indicates you were visiting from Canada, this was very disappointing as it made you feel left out. We also went on two excisions provided through Air Transat and although it was advertised that the tour guide would provide the tour in French and English the majority of the tour was in French and the parts that were translated in English were not accurate and were not as lengthy as the French explanation. So if you are interested in the history of Greece and are considering the Athens city tour I would say avoid going through Air Transat and just go on your own. This way you can spend as much time as you want in Athens and actually take in the sites and read the historical boards to get a better understanding of everything and gets the tour experience. Also while in Athens if you want to see the lights of the Acropolis at night you should go to the rooftop bar A for Athens as it is beautiful. It is a little busy but the site is very memorable and you can have some true authentic Greek food and drink, Ouzo, while you are there. Although this is an all inclusive drinks stop being served at 11:30PM and there is no room service included and lunch is served at 1PM with breakfast that is stopped at 10:30AM. In between that time a snack bar is meant to provide snacks to you to hold you over if you missed breakfast or get hungry although the snacks are very limited. The beach is pebbly and I would recommend buying beach shoes as getting into the water is very uncomfortable without them. The flight through Air Transat was way too long 11 hours. We definitely loved Greece and will visit again but will not be visiting this resort.

Not what I expected, felt like I stayed in French resort because everyone and all the entertainment was French. The hotel itself was OK, rooms were what you expect of a cheaper quality-inn type hotel. Had to buy water in lobby as I did not trust the tap water. Food was not very good and not authentic Greek whatsoever. Staff hotel were very nice and helpful. "Club Lookea" is just a very odd choice for entertainment as they are geared completely for children and are completely french. Beach/water was very nice but rocky, pools were nice also. WIFI is absolutely awful, you get it for a couple minutes at a time at random spots, that's basically it. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, I would recommend getting cheap hotels/hostels around the country/islands and actually experiencing Greek culture.. which we ended up doing for a couple days anyways. Very geared toward older FRENCH couples and families. I've been to a lot of resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico and this would be on the bottom of my list.

We stayed at the Royal Olympic Hotel for our 1-year anniversary. It's located right across the street from the Temple of Olympian Zeus and maybe a 10-15 minute walk from the Acropolis, which was absolutely fantastic having things so close. The proximity to the sites meant that the view from the rooftop restaurant was brilliant, especially at night with the Parthenon lit up. The pool was great; perfect temperature, always clean, incredibly deep, which I like. It got busy in the early afternoon so it was hard to find a chair sometimes, but if you go in the morning it's no problem, and in Athens the temperature in the morning is generally more than adequate for the pool. Our package came with the free breakfast which I would absolutely recommend if you have the option. All you can eat buffet on the roof, not very authentic but the quality of the food was excellent (not to mention all the prosciutto you can eat, never mind the $10 you pay for like 10 slices here in Canada). You can fill up on breakfast and not have to worry about lunch. As good as the breakfast was though, I cannot recommend going to the Rooftop Restaurant for dinner. The food was very good but the prices are not justified. The cheapest entrée was 28 euros, and more realistically you would pay upwards of 40 to 45 euros per entrée. We didn't bother with wine, we stuck to water, which in itself cost 3 euros for a large bottle. The view is fantastic at night, though, so if you can sneak up there for coffee and dessert (still not cheap), it might be worth it for a one-time thing. The service was mixed. When we arrived, we had been up for 24 hours straight and we arrived at our hotel at around 9:30am local time, about 5 1/2 hours before the check-in time. They suggested we relax by the pool until our room was ready, but we did not have the motivation to do so after so many waking hours. We ended up waiting in the lobby for two hours before I basically begged them to let us check in early. The woman at the front desk eventually conceded, though she didn't seem very sympathetic, which I suppose was her prerogative being that she was doing us a favour, but it just didn't seem like a very hospitable attitude on our first day there, which I believe a hotel should strive for. The other hiccup with the service was the inconsistency with the maid service. We never really figured out what the Do Not Disturb sign was for. We hung it out on our door, sometimes they would heed it, other days they came in and cleaned our room anyway. Same thing when we didn't hang it, sometimes cleaned, sometimes not. The only time it really bothered us was when they didn't come in when we wanted them to because we needed clean towels, but a quick call down to the front desk resulted in them bringing us towels within 15 minutes, plus extra shampoos and soaps. So not a big deal, overall. Beyond that, the staff by the pool were excellent, bringing towels and providing food and drink service. The staff in the restaurant were also great. The biggest gripe was probably the quality of the room. For a 5-star hotel, I would've expected more. The room was very dated; our king-sized bed was in fact two twin beds pushed together with separate linens; the TV barely worked (the remote would arbitrarily work in certain, seemingly random situations). Perhaps European standards or Greek in particular are different, but we've stayed in five-star hotels in Canada and the US before for around the same price and you definitely got a lot more for your money. We opted for the Executive Room, which was the cheapest minus the Interior Rooms, so maybe that played a factor. When I inquired about upgrading, the prices I was quoted were insane, so we didn't bother. Looking back, maybe I would have sprung for the Deluxe Room, but definitely not the extra $200 per night for the Athenian Panorama. In the end, though, we spent most of our time out and about or by the pool, so the quality of the room didn't really affect our trip much. Overall, without any real basis in Athens for comparison, I would recommend the Royal Olympic Hotel solely for it's location to important sites, the view from the roof (and the breakfast buffet) and the pool.

It's you think it's a Caribbean resort! No it's not but its not bad at all . It's very clean the view just breathtaking, the sea and mountain. Food just 2 restaurants and just Greek food wich I have not complain about it , you are in Greece !!! Service very good they try there best but it's more for French speaking people , shows and entreteiment , but anyway we participated in everything we could , we had a great time , beside Greece it's amazing, we spend a lot time outside of the resort too .

Water was beautiful (pebble/stone beach though- ouch), landscaped grounds, lots of pools... The hotel was catering to French though, and the service was lacking especially for the English/Canadians... The views were the best part though! Mountains and sea.... Loved it!

The Hotel was well maintained and the rooms were clean. The Buffet had a lot to choose from. The location was ideal with all our day trips.The Hotel Staff were very friendly and very helpful with suggestions ie Restaurants/sight seeing and or just getting around the city.

Stayed at this resort in May 2015 and absolutely loved it! Pros: The location was amazing, only an hour away from Athens and the beach was beautiful. The quality of the food was great. The pebble beach was not an issue as you get used to it. Cons: This resort favours the French visitors. It felt like they catered to the French over everybody else. The tours were offered in French/English but our tour got cancelled as not enough English people had signed up (while when the same number of French signed up for a tour yet it was available). Overall, for the price that we paid we enjoyed our experience and felt like we got what we paid for.

My husband and I were in this resort for 1 week in May. The place is very nice, and clean, but I found the service at the resort to be a bit poor. Especially the gentleman in the store, he was very rude and wasn't helpful at all. All the entertainment at the resort was in French, they didn't even attempt to include the English speaking people in any of the activities. The food was very good, they had a variety to choose from. I suggest you bring water shoes, because it's not a sandy beach.

Air Transat threw this one together with no thought for canadians. The a la carte restaurant is NOT. It is a nicer buffet. All tours were operated in FRENCH. Your all inclusive alcohol will end promptly at 11:30 pm. After which a drink will be $7. Also any premium brands such as Bacardi or any after dinner liqueur will be $7. Pool bars were rarely staffed. If you are a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, this is the place for you! It will take you 1.5 hours by train to see the ruins and sites in Athens.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful and the beach with the mountains and other small islands was something to see. The people for the most part were friendly, however very few spoke English. I would recommend this resort to anyone with children who want a worry free resort to enjoy with their families and or partner. I would definitely go again. NB from Hamilton, Ont

Hotel was nice and central The foyer spectacular in appearance.. the staff friendly and must spoke good English The rooms were clean a little on the small side but pretty standard for that price point I believe The breakfast Buffett was good the service in the restaurant efficient and again friendly

not a five star, old rooms and carpet, staff not helpful, not worth the money, lots of nicer places closer to heart of the city....all in all, this property is a fail in my books, would not recommend it.

This hotel did not live up to my expectations. Good points include the rooftop pool (not heated!) and the shuttle into the city centre. Other than that, there were not too many positives. The rooms felt dingy, the carpets desperately needed updating and the bed felt like sleeping on concrete. Overall, I would not recommend it.

The resort was beautiful! Great food, theme nights, easy access to beach and great pools. Loved the quiet area pool!! Great idea! Also, travelling to cities like Athens was super easy. All the people who worked there were very helpful and answered any questions we had.
