We recently stayed at this hotel after booking what was advertised and confirmed online as one of their King Suites. The photos and descriptions gave us high expectations — unfortunately, the reality was far from what was promised. Upon arrival, we were informed that we’d been placed in what staff referred to as their “oldest” King Suites— a room with no view (we were literally facing a brick wall), minimal daylight, and noticeably fewer amenities than expected. The room didn’t even include a fridge. What followed felt less like a welcome and more like a thinly veiled sales pitch: we were offered the opportunity to upgrade to the King Suite we had originally thought we’d booked — for an extra $100+ per night. It was disappointing and frankly disingenuous, especially given that the hotel was clearly not at full capacity. To make matters worse, one of the bottles of water in the room — which the hotel expects guests to pay for upon consumption — had already been half-drunk when we arrived. Overall, the experience felt transactional, not hospitable — and a far cry from the high standard I’ve come to expect and enjoy from hotels in Las Vegas. Sadly, this visit left a sour impression, and I’d hesitate to return or recommend it.

The Venetian is the best example of how to use your time wisely. Be it playing the slots or the tables it has it all. The amount of restaurants available to you is insane. 42 plus to serve you with any kind of appetizers and mains you want . I would recommend it very strongly can’t wait for the next time we come to Vegas

This is the most incredible place I have ever stayed. It’s beautiful beyond words. You have to see it to believe it. Very clean, rooms are large, ours had two queen beds, a sofa, two TVs, a small dinette and a gorgeous bathroom Colette with bathtub, walk in shower. A seperate area with the toilet and double sinks. As for the rest of the hotel it was massive, lots of dining and shopping areas. The design and decor were very opulent. This was our honeymoon and we felt like we made the right choice. Las Vegas was amazing and the Venetian was beyond our wildest expectations.

Pros - beautiful huge majestic hotel with built in shopping mall - water ways inside and outside hotel add to mystique - large casinos on main floor - large rooms with sunken sitting area were kept clean - marble floors throughout - bus service is decent price - lots of sights to see inside and outside - no water saving devices, shower was great - bed was good - A/C and heat was good and not blowing across bed Cons - hotel was way over priced for what you get. - hotel charges an extra $45 USD per day, plus 13.8% on top of that "resort fee". This is not disclosed until after booking - pools were mostly pay to sit seating and overcrowded tiny pools with sun only in select "pay" parts - two bath towels per day for two people - lighting in bathroom and main rooms were terrible, dark and just for show, not useful lights shining directly into your eyes and down the walls. One side of bed had all the switches. Other side had to walk around. Very hard to see what you were doing in rooms. - no usable fridge - no coffee maker or hot water kettle supplied. Coffee in the shops anywhere, was $5 USD or more. Bottle of water was $5 USD or more. - many snack foods, pick one up to read it and you bought it, no excuses - all Vegas restaurants are price gouging and attempting to rip off customers by adding "extras" to the bill. Cheapest hamburger was $18 USD, steaks at Outback started at $52 USD. plus food taxes - "the strip" in Las Vegas has absolutely no place to sit down, anywhere, unless you pay. You will stand on concrete, or marble, all day while browsing. - bus was not available on one side of the street due to construction. When bus would arrive the driver would yell, "we are full. Another bus coming in 8 minutes" which always turned out to be more like 25 minutes. Then you stand on the overcrowded bus also. - to enter any hotel you must walk through their massive casino containing hundreds of huge video games and cigarette smoke. - constant crowding while walking inside or outside, everywhere Luxor was much cheaper and you had the same service levels.

The Venetian was excellent. Checkin was easy, rooms were huge, clean, and quiet. Be forewarned that as soon as you touch anything on the food and drink tray, you are charged for it. I did notice that since the last time I was in Vegas, it is much more expensive. Alcoholic drinks are $25 each and there are very very few blackjack tables for less than $25 bet. I didnt really notice anything relating to COVID. The Fashion Show mall was really lacklustre, this could be to still catching up from COVID. One thing I did not like was the smell of smoke. We found it permeated our clothes by the end of the trip. When you are used to smoke free environments, its hard to take. I had enough after three days.

We thought The Venetian was beautiful! The rooms were incredible and location was reflect! The hotel staff was exceptional … even in the middle of the night when there was a plumbing issue in my room. It was handled quickly and with resources that corrected the issue immediately. I was very impressed by everything and everyone at this hotel. I’m not sure I would book anywhere else on my next trip to Las Vegas

This resort is beautiful, we were disappointed to find they there were was no coffee maker in the room and free coffee and water. For the price you pay to stay here that is the least they can include. We were also disappointed with the fact that there was a section of chairs reserved in the pool area that cost $50 a day US to rent especially since they mostly sat empty. We pay a $45 US per day resort fee those chairs should have been available to all guest of the hotel without charge.

We truly had a wonderful time. Staff was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay the best.Would stay there again. Easy access to the whole strip from the hotel. Very clean and never without anything you needed. Our agent Candice did us well in everything we asked for this trip.

We stayed at the venetian from a Wednesday-Saturday and had a great visit,the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were way better than I expected,very large room,clean, super nice bathroom,the bathtub was probably one of the best bathtubs I have ever been in. We are a few of the restaurants and they were all great.we also used the pools and hotubs and they were also very nice. We will definitely be coming back.

The Venetian was a great place to stay at! A lovely hotel- clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is fairly central on the strip and close to lots of attractions. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was our second trip to Las Vegas, first stay was at New York, New York Hotel and Casino... The Venetian came highly recommended but we felt the New York was far better. However the location was great but the staff at The Venetian were not really please t as expected. The hotel had its good and bad, the room was pretty good and most of the amenities good but it all came back to staff throughout the hotel and even in the Casino. We will be going back to Las Vegas again but not be staying at The Venetian.

This has to be one of the finest hotels on the strip! The decor and architecture is amazing, it feels like you are staying in old world Venice castle. The high painted ceilings, marble floors and lighting give it an open ,airy and spacious look! You wont be disappointed, we weren't. Plenty of shops and restaurants on site and a good location on the strip for adventuring. The room was a beautiful suite with a sunken living room area, everything in the decor was well done and maintained. The garden pools and hot tub area were beautiful and private, made you feel you are in your own hidden garden paradise. We loved our stay, and will definitively return.

The Venetian is a beautiful and huge resort. Would recommend staying here but would not recommend paying extra to upgrade rooms. The upgraded rooms are the same as the regular rooms, but on a higher floor which just means you wait longer for the elevator. Overall great stay, lots to do.

The Venetian was a fantastic place to stay..you could almost just stay there your whole trip because there is so much to do in the hotel itself. Our room was amazing ..the suite living room, dining table was such an added bonus. The pools were fantastic .not too busy any of them because there are so many. Hotel staff at check in and check out were so kind and helpful. Wished we could have used the fridge to store our drinks and snacks would have been nice but the fridge is stocked and weighted ..if you move anything you are charged but a small issue in the grand scheme of things. Will definitely return.

The Venetian was the best resort I have ever stayed in - the staff are amazing, the room was spacious & gorgeous, the art, decor & gondolas...so much to see & do that we needed two days to experience it all! Would definitely stay there again next time we are in Vegas.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The hotel is so large it is easy to get lost in the first few days you are there. We ate at the Grand Luxe cafe twice and both times the food was excellent and not overpriced. There is also a small food court for pizza, pasta, etc, and this is reasonable also. We had a king suite and the room was huge and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was cleaned spotless every day. The only negative thing we noticed was the smoke in the casino in the evenings, otherwise our stay was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's cleanliness and great location on the strip. We would definitely stay here again. 5 🌟 all the way!

Beautiful hotel with a large room and a great view! Lots of places to eat and shop. Casino was fun. Tip the waitresses and get free drinks! Noodle Asia was absolutely delicious and is right in the casino. Fresh and very hot. We will be back.

Very luxurious establishment in all areas. Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definately would be a place to consider. If ever I'm back in Vegas this definitely would be my choice for a resort.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I have never been to Vegas before so had no idea what to expect. We were going to celebrate my 50th Birthday. Upon arrival I knew we were in for a treat. The place is so big and every inch is filled with something from Venice or something casino related. The rooms were to die for. Was so nice to have the living to entertain as there were 9 of us. I couldn't believe that there were 3 tvs in the rooms. I enjoyed watching tv in the bathroom while getting ready each day. The hotel is central to everything on the strip. Each we discovered something new at the hotel. The grab and go breakfast that was included in my package was a perfect start to our day. You received coffee, a fruit cup, 2 danishes and 1 muffin. It was delicious and we never ate breakfast out once while we were there. I usually did us until lunch time. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Check in and out were a breeze. I would def recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Vegas.

My wife and I recently spent a few days at the Venetian. We found the main casino floor terribly smokey and unbareable to stay in for long periods of time. We ventured through other casinos that were older than the Venetian and found the air quality/ventilstion to be much better. Also during our stay the Venetian's pool was under construction and patrons were expected to walk to the sister hotel the Palazzo to use the pool there. Weren't offered a discount on resort fees during this time.

This is our 2nd time visiting this resort and it continues to impress. The restaurants were amazing with plenty of options and varying menu's, the staff at check-in were very quick and helpful and the casino atmosphere is our favorite - it is always buzzing with life & energy. We spent a day at the pool and even though the main Venetian pool was closed for renovations, we had full access to the pool at the Palazzo. Great day with beautiful sun and service with a smile. Not to mention all of this came with an ideal location. Will definitely be back soon!

Our stay in the hotel was great. The suite was beautiful and spacious. View was not the best- a parking lot. The suite was also a bit far from the main lobby. Was also a little disappointed at the drink se vice in the Cassini- was there 4 times and. Ever had a server ask me for a drink.

The hotel is breathtaking, there is so much attention to detail everywhere - from the floors to the ceilings - which are a wonder to behold, truly artistic masterpieces!!,. One feels like one is staying in a palace in Venice,

Beautiful hotel and an amazing reasonable upgrade made it the perfect stay!!! So big got lost a few times in the shoppes but a great variety from normal to high end stores and restaurants! Easy access to everything considering the size of the resort!!!

The Venetian gave away my room. I arrived at 1am only to be told that unless I pay more will I get a room to stay at the Venetian. Front desk was not courteous or helpful. Instead I was shuttled to the Palazzo with a room that viewed an industrial complex with the back end of the Wynn hotel. I had to ask for room service to come in one day to tidy up the room. I was away from the strip and all in all not a what I expected and disappointing

The hotel is great. Large rooms, clean and well kept. The resort has everything you need, shopping, restaurants, bars, and entertainment....you really wouldn’t have to leave the resort for anything, other than to experience the rest of the Vegas strip. The staff were incredibly accommodating for all our needs and requests. Great resort to stay at

Very good experience at the Venetian included friendly staff, great pool area and amazing variety of restaurants. In particular St. Mark's square, the architecture and gondolas provided a very Venetian experience. The suite was great but would have appreciated having in room coffee available. Room service cost was too costly at 18% surcharge plus $7 delivery fee?

My wife and I had a fantastic time...from when we checked in to when we left signed out. Everyone associated with the Venetian was pleasant and eager to answer any questions we had. The room was magnificent...clean, spacious, comfortable... what can I say about the exterior...gorgeous...really liked the place...would come back for another stay...

I have been to Vegas over a dozen times and never stayed at the Venetian before ,I am so glad I finally got the chance with 12 other FAMILY members .It is a beautiful hotel inside and out and service was great .Rooms are Big ,beds are comfortable ,washrooms have both shower and bathtub ,tons of room to walk around and separate sitting area ,loved it all will stay again soon .

We loved the rooms always clean lots to do . We loved it . Food was great casino and shops amazing. We had 13 family members with us so much to do . The shows and the people always busy You can t see it all need to go back .

the room is amazing, food ,drinks especially at the casino floor servers are there almost every minute you dont need to wait like in other casino, staff are friendly, i had stayed at different hotels along the vegas strip last year was at wynn and i thought its the best for me, its good thing we decided to try THE VENETIAN checked in at the luxury king suite( its really worth the money) so from now on i will not look for any other hotel to stay in vegas only in the venetian, the thing i dont like is the 30% tax when i won the jackpot

hotel was great, trip was great but after paying for the flight and hotel together i didnt realise there was almost $400 in hotel fees to pay for at check in, they should be included in the purchase price so you can budget better and not lose US$400 as soon as your vacation starts , took away from a couple things we had budgeted to do while in vegas

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and we never have any complaints about it. On this occasion, our room-type was not available and they placed us in a room that had a terrible view and was really outdated. But, our requested room type was available they next day and in fact, they upgraded us to a view of the strip, which we did not pay for. So, we can't complain. The rooms are clean, some are renovated, and updated. The available Wi-Fi is pretty good. And, the Grande Lux Café, which is located in this hotel, is our favorite place to eat while in Las Vegas, so we are always happy about that! We would book this hotel again, we love it!

Stay was fantastic. We had a couple of requests and they delivered in a big way. We also had an issue with our room key and they got it fixed right away and even compensated us. Would definitely stay again.

Over the top opulence, friendly staff, free valet parking, great food! Pools are amazing but some are quite shaded by the towers making it too chilly for a swim. Having umbrellas around the pools would be nice but the ones that are there are for Tao beach. An amazing time spent with our friends from the UK, we'll see you for next years reunion Venetian!

The hotel is beautiful but a total rip off as they charge you $40 per night per room even if you are not using it. There was no Coffee? Tea Machine apparently for security reasons. I was told by room service they will charge $25 to send it up to the room. The room was very clean and beautiful but Service was not good. The people at the reception were rude and not hospitable.

Having been to Las Vegas numerous times and staying in different hotels on the strip, we were able to get a taste of what every hotel had to offer. The Venetian was just WOW ! The rooms !!! Very Spacious and luxurious. Can't wait to book the next trip and stay again.

I can't wait to go again with my entire family so much to do i love this place best family vacation I loved the gondola all the restaurants and especially the piazza great place to sit down and have a esoresso and italian gelatto

Absolutely loved staying here! Originally booked our suite at The Venetian, but when we arrived, we were told we'd be staying at The Palazzo instead. Suite was beautiful--clean, bright, and spacious. View was of the Wynn and its various pools. Only minor complaint: no housekeeping service on the last full day of our trip. Still, totally got our money's worth at this hotel. We would book here again, no doubt.

The suits are massive, and so is the bathroom. The Venetian is hands down the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at! The grounds are lovely. There are numerous pools to choose from, and each are great! The best part is the poker :)

The room was amazing! Loved the bathroom and the sunken living room. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The canal shoppes was also great with a lot of stores and restaurants to choose from. The interiors were breathtaking that we had to take lots of photos.

The Venetian is an amazing place to stay. Our room was lovely, and the lady who was looking after us was fantastic. She thought of everything. I never thought we left if messy, but when we returned the room it was meticulous. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Beautiful hotel, breath taking pools, right in the heart of Vegas. For my first visit to Vegas I was pleasantly surprised how clean the hotel is and surrounding area. The only negative comment is related to our check out. At check out we were asked if we would like to check in at the airport and we said absolutely. We get to the airport and we are not checked in. In fact the tickets we were given at the hotel were not even ours...lesson: always check your paperwork and never assume it is correct. We would definitely return to the same location!

Overall it was okay. I didn't like the fact that we had to pay resort fees, why not just add it into the price of the room per night,. I didn't get to use the pool because weather was cool. Room was nice, clean. Bed was very comfy. The Grand Lux Cafe was very good. The buffet not so much. It was difficult navigating the Venetian, kept walking in circles.

We stayed at the Venezia Tower, and had a very nice stay in a room facing the Mirage and its Volcano. Great view! Excellent service and food. Amenities commensurate with the 5 star hotel the Venetian is. Superb garden on the lobby level of the Venezia (11th floor) with fountains, pools and whirlpools surrounded by the Venetian and Venezia towers. Security effective, but courteous as the rest of the staff is.

Beautiful place to stay, everything very accessible and great spot on the strip. Can't say enough about the rooms, very clean and absolutely beautiful. Grand Lux Cafe has excellent food very reasonably priced. We have stayed there several times and are never disappointed!!

We actually stayed at the Palazzo hotel and it was fantastic! Great location, lots to do, very clean. My only complaints is that the shower head needs more pressure. For the amount you pay, should have better shower head. Also if you need to use there computer room it cost $15.00 for 5 min! Crazy. You would think that would be covered in your resort fees. Over all though it was a great time! Would definitely stay there again. We stayed in there Bella suite.

It's a third time we were staying in this hotel. We've stayed in other hotels in Vegas but but Venetian in our favorit. The room/suit it's pretty specious and between your plans and schedule it's has enough room to sit and relax. Also, resort has so many great restaurant for any taste and budget. We defiantly will stay there again.

All aspects of this hotel were wonderful - rooms, pool, casino, restaurants, ambiance - very impressive! Easy check in and out! Would easily recommend to others and would return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

Everything was perfect, rooms, pools location and service was excellent. I will be there on my next vacations. Th only thing I will sagest is to add a breakfast buffet or lunch, dinner buffet, just to stay there all day and night

Hotel was very nice. A little far from the main core. But not too bad. Pool area was a little simple. In my opinion Bellagios pool is the best. The gym was excellent. It had an awsome rock climbing wall. The hotel was attached to the Pollazo which was very nice. As always our trip to Vegas was very nice.

I loved this hotel! The rooms were beautiful! The front of the hotel is gorgeous! Beware if you want a late checkout though! The crew of cleaning staff will sit outside your room (all 15 of them!) waiting for you to leave to clean your room.

Quick efficient check-in & check-out. Some of the best rooms in Vegas. Large seating area, spacious washroom with separate room for the toilet. Elevators are near the lobby and enjoyed not having to navigate through a maze to get to our room.

The Venetian is a very beautiful resort. Location is great! It has everything you need..... Food, shopping etc. I would suggest staying in the Venezia wing it is closer to the main entrance and the strip!

Great place to stay. Lots of shops, restaurants in the middle of all the action. Close to everything. Excellent service checking in and out and concierge. Large room/suites. Canals and gondola are very romantic.

Huge room, decent toiletries, well located on the strip. We went to the spa for the day, and although the booking lady wasn't too helpful over the phone, the massage was amazing. We ate at bouchon and it was very good - huge portions!

We just returned from Las Vegas on Monday and stayed at the Venetian Hotel - the Venetian is an amazing resort with very helpful and pleasant staff. The hotel is centrally located on the strip and within walking distance of most attractions/hotels/shopping we visited during our stay. The rooms where very spacious and clean, the hotel had great pools and of course a busy casino which draws large crowds of ppl. Security was visible throughout the entire hotel and were available to offer assistance ( usually directions) day or night. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

Great service, clean, great gaming and restaurants. Great location on the middle of the strip so walking access to everywhere is short and manageable. Room upgrade was pricey, but altogether had a blast.

The hotel was very nice, we enjoyed it very much, we were told our room didn't have a view but it didn't matter it was clean and spacious. Nice room, nice hotel!!! Great location would go there again!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Venetian from 26-Apr-15 to 30-Apr-15 and had an amazing time! The rooms were spacious and immaculate and the hotel was breathtaking! Best breakfast spot is the Grand Luxe Cafe which has a buffet option as well. If we go again we wouldn't stay anywhere else but the Venetian!

The Hotel was absolutly amazing, everything was well maintained and clean. The Hotel staff was so pleasant and helpful, they wanted to make sure that my friends and I experienced an amazing time/experience. I absolutly loved the Venetian and would go back.

We arrived and told our room was sold out & wanted us to pay for upgrade. We said; no so free upgrade. Not an upgrade told view no view 4am loud noise in bathroom,6am alarm voice saying warning allert 7am construction started above our heads. Every morning for 5 mornings construction at 6:30am. Complained told the construction starts at 9am. They did give us at the end a resort fee credit but we do not feel this was good enough. Put the lady from front desk on speaker and she heard the noise. This of course is our experience. Maybe yours will be better.

The venetian is the best hotel I have ever been to. Staff was friendly. Hotel was spotless. As a non smoker l found the air quality better than any other hotel on the strip. (The Wynn was also up there with the venetian)

What a beautiful resort and fabulous service. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed with enough room to truly enjoy the space. My husband and I spent much of the daytime at the pool and were treated to great service. The pool staff were very helpful and attentive. There a great variety of restaurants and we dined at two. (Italian and Mexican) The Italian was great and the Mexican average.

Love this hotel, but this trip we were put in a room in the Venezia tower - it took 2 elevator rides to get to our floor, and then we had to walk another .5 km. After all the walking on the strip, this did me in at the end of the day.

The Venetian was a beautiful hotel in an ideal location on the strip. It was big (everything in Vegas is!) but felt more manageable than some of the other hotels we ended up walking through. The rooms were lovely (and also huge!) and clean. All the staff we met and dealt with were excellent and very friendly. We only at one of the restaurants on site but it was a delightful. We would definitely stay here again.

The Venetian is truly a beautiful place to be. It is centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip. There are so, so many great restaurants to go to without even going outdoors. Loved this place...can't wait to go back!!

The hotel, right from the lobby to the warmth of the room made this hotel one of our favourites to stay at. The staff was very friendly. The hotel condition was top notch, the casino clean and inviting.

We stayed at The Venetian from Sep 21st to 25th. This resort is in a class by itself, from the staff at the front desk to the rooms with sunken living rooms, this is a world class resort. We actually got married there so I have to thank the wedding planner Caroline and her staff, Pastor Jack and Devon the photographer. Thanks for making out day so special from Oliver and Jennifer. We will certainly be back soon.
