• Effective as of now, the Greek government has implemented a new tax on cruise travellers visiting Greek islands, per port and passenger. Celestyal will collect the applicable local government taxes based on disembarked ports for all guests, upon check out. This will be calculated based on the number of guests going ashore in each Greek port and added to each individual disembarking guest onboard account each day of the cruise. This is not a Celestyal charge, but a mandatory levy by the Greek authorities that we are collecting on their behalf, as required by the relevant legislation.

• Enjoy Glyfada, a coastal town on the outskirts of Athens, on the Athens Riviera. With its seaside atmosphere, take advantage of your stay in this seaside district to swim on the magnificent Mediterranean beaches, enjoy a bite to eat in trendy restaurants, or stroll along the pedestrian streets in search of shops of all kinds. If you want to visit Athens's various tourist attractions or explore the city in a different way, the tram network will take you easily to the city centre and other coastal towns on the Riviera.
