Athens, Mykonos & Santorini — Greece's Golden Triangle

If you had to distill Greece into three destinations, you'd land here every time. Athens, where Western civilization was born and the Acropolis still lords over the city two and a half millennia on. Mykonos, the whitewashed jewel of the Cyclades, equal parts beautiful and exhilarating. And Santorini — volcanic, dramatic, and utterly unlike anywhere else on earth. Together, these three form the most iconic Greek journey there is, and our packages make getting there from Canada straightforward, with flights, accommodations and all transfers included.

Whether you're looking for an efficient first taste of Greece, a polished self-guided escape, or a full luxury experience with private guides and top-tier hotels, there's a package here that fits.

What to Expect

  • Athens is where every Greek adventure begins, and it rewards time. The Acropolis is the obvious centrepiece — standing beneath the Parthenon at sunrise, before the crowds arrive, is one of those genuinely unforgettable travel moments. But the city has layers beyond the ancient sites: the winding alleyways of Plaka, the buzzing central market, rooftop bars with views across the terracotta skyline, and a food scene that has quietly become one of Europe's best. Budget at least two full days, and consider an evening in the neighbourhood of Monastiraki for street food and the city's easy, unhurried energy.
  • Mykonos is many things at once — a maze of cubic white houses and bougainvillea-draped lanes, a destination for world-class beach clubs and nightlife, and a surprisingly rich cultural stop. Little Venice, where the buildings hang directly over the water, is the island's most photographed corner, especially at golden hour. The iconic windmills above the Chora are best explored early morning. Day-trippers can ferry to the sacred island of Delos — mythological birthplace of Apollo and one of the Aegean's most remarkable open-air archaeological sites — just a short boat ride from the harbour. In the evenings, the island comes alive with restaurants and late-night bars that earned Mykonos its reputation as the liveliest island in the Aegean.
  • Santorini needs no introduction, but it always exceeds expectations. The caldera views from Oia and Fira — villages perched on the rim of an ancient volcanic crater above the deep blue sea — are as spectacular in person as they look on any screen. The hike along the caldera path from Fira to Oia takes three to four hours and offers the best sustained views in Greece. A sunset sailing cruise around the volcanic islands, with stops at the hot springs and the red and white beaches, is the highlight many travellers cite as the trip's single best day. Beyond the views, Santorini has excellent local wine (the volcanic soil produces distinctive Assyrtiko grapes), the fascinating Bronze Age ruins at Akrotiri, and quieter villages like Pyrgos and Megalochori that offer a more peaceful side of the island.

Choose Your Package:

Alpha

Athens · Mykonos · Santorini

Seven days, three iconic destinations, and the full sweep of what makes Greece unforgettable. The Alpha itinerary is designed for those who want Greece's greatest hits in the most efficient possible format — ideal if time is limited or if this is a first visit and you want to understand why millions of travellers keep coming back. Athens sets the tone with its ancient grandeur, before the dramatic landscapes and distinctive character of Mykonos and Santorini take over. Everything you need is included: flights from Canada, accommodation, and all land and ferry transfers between stops. A complete Greek experience in one well-paced week.

Best of Greece (Self-guided)

Athens · Mykonos · Santorini

Three extra days make a meaningful difference. The Best of Greece self-guided package expands the Alpha route into a more relaxed, immersive journey — giving you genuine time to slow down, wander without an agenda, and discover the corners of each destination that the hurried traveller misses. You might spend a morning at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, take the cable car up from Santorini's port to Fira, or find a quiet beach on Mykonos that isn't on any list. Historical monuments, picture-perfect island vistas and a vibrant arts and craft scene are all yours to explore at your own pace. All arrangements are made; the itinerary is yours to interpret.

Cycladic Escape (3- and 4-star hotels)

Athens · Mykonos · Santorini

The Cycladic Escape is the most accessible entry point to this classic route, pairing excellent value with genuine comfort. Three- and four-star accommodations are carefully selected across all three destinations, and the package covers everything — flights from Canada, accommodation, land and ferry transfers — so the only decisions left to make are how you spend each day. Historic monuments, postcard-perfect islands, long afternoons on beaches and evenings exploring the Santorinian caldera villages all await. You'll have ample time at each stop to explore at your own pace, without the pressure of a guided tour schedule.

Cycladic Escape Premium (4- and 5-star hotels)

Athens · Mykonos · Santorini

The same beautifully crafted route as the Cycladic Escape, elevated throughout. Four- and five-star hotels are selected at each destination, meaning your room in Santorini might overlook the caldera, your Mykonos boutique hotel might be steps from the old town, and your Athens base puts the city's finest neighbourhoods within easy reach. Premium accommodations change the rhythm of a trip — a better room to return to means more time lingering over lunch, less time worrying about the logistics. All flights, transfers and accommodations are included, and you'll have the same generous freedom to explore each island at your own pace.

Luxury Getaway in the Cyclades

Athens · Mykonos · Santorini

For those who want Greece without compromise, this is the package. The Luxury Getaway in the Cyclades is a fully curated, high-end experience from start to finish, built around private transfers, premium accommodations and exclusive access that transforms three remarkable destinations into something even more special.

In Athens, a private guide takes you through the ancient heart of the city — the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the ancient Agora — with the kind of context and storytelling that a self-guided visit simply can't replicate. In Mykonos, you'll find the island at its most lively and exciting, with the time and comfort to experience it fully. And in Santorini, the island's hidden gems reveal themselves: the quieter caldera villages, the local wineries, the private sailing excursions that take you to corners of this extraordinary volcanic landscape most visitors never see.

Top-quality accommodations, private transfers throughout, and a combination of private and semi-private excursions ensure that every element of the trip is handled with care. This is Greece as a truly memorable, effortless luxury experience — the kind of journey that stays with you long after you're home.

When to Go

The Athens–Mykonos–Santorini route shines from May through October. Late May, June and September offer the sweet spot: warm enough to swim comfortably (the Aegean reaches 24–26°C by late summer), quieter than the peak months, and with the golden light that makes both islands look their best. July and August are the liveliest — both islands are at their most energetic, but also their most crowded and expensive. For the Luxury Getaway in particular, June or early September is the ideal window: all the beauty of high season with more breathing room.
