Your day begins with a sightseeing tour of London, hosted by a local guide. You will view such highlights as Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and the changing of the guard (when held). The afternoon is at leisure. Later in the day, enjoy one of London's spectacular theatre performances. (B)
4London - Cambridge - York
You journey north, stopping in Cambridge, before arriving in York. Enjoy a stroll through the famous ^Shambles,^ a quaint, narrow street that appears today almost as it did in the Middle Ages. (B, D)
5York - Edinburgh, Scotland
This morning you have leisure time to enjoy York - don't miss the magnificent 13th century Minster, thought by many to be one of the finest medieval cathedrals in all of Europe. Later, you travel north into Scotland. Your destination is Edinburgh, Scotland's charming capital city. Your evening is at leisure to sample one of Edinburgh's fine restaurants or perhaps take an evening stroll through the Princes Street Gardens to view the illuminated castle. (B)

Begin your day by traveling north through the charming villages and rolling countryside of the area known as the Cotswolds. A stop will be made at Stow-on-the-Wold. This afternoon you arrive in Stratford-Upon-Avon where you are sure to enjoy a tour of this lovely village, known the world over as the home of William Shakespeare, England's most famous playwright. You will visit Shakespeare's birthplace as well as his wife's thatch-roofed home, Anne Hathaway's cottage. (B, D)
