| 2 | Arrive London On arrival you will be transferred to the Hilton Olympia hotel, then London is yours to discover. |
| 3 | London Sightseeing Today we enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of London seeing all the major sights. This afternoon is at leisure. (B) |
| 4 | London - Amsterdam We meet our Tour Director this morning, then we're off to Dover for our cruise to France. Belgium's Flanders Fields lead to Holland and onto Amsterdam. Our orientation tour of the city shows us Dam Square and the Mint Tower. Then we visit a diamond-polishing factory before continuing to our hotel. (B) |
| 5 | Amsterdam - Rhineland This morning we enter Germany to visit Cologne and view its Gothic cathedral. Then a memorable Rhine cruise takes us past castles, half timbered houses and vineyards. We see the legendary Loreley Rock and admire Pfalz Castle sitting in the middle of the river on the way to our hotel. (B,D) |
| 6 | Rhineland - Innsbruck We drive south to the Bavarian Alps for views of 'Mad' King Ludwig's fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein. We then travel over the Austrian border to Innsbruck, where our sightseeing includes the Wilten Basilica, the Golden Roof and Imperial Palace. Tonight, perhaps enjoy a Austrian folklore show? (B,D) |
| 7 | Innsbruck - Lucerne Spectacular Alpine scenery as we leave the Austrian Alps for a stop in the capital of the small principality of Liechtenstein, dominated by Vaduz Castle. Then to Lucerne where we see the covered Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument. Then we have time at leisure to shop, before reaching our hotel. (B,D) |
| 8 | Lucerne - Paris This morning we drive past the Swiss port of Basel into France, skirting the Jura Mountains, we continue into the wine producing area of Burgundy. Then it's on to Paris where we will stay for two nights. This evening, why not join a fabulous excursion to see the city's illuminations? (B) |
| 9 | Paris - Sightseeing With a local guide this morning we see Garnier's Opera House, Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower and we visit Notre Dame Cathedral. Then time at leisure. Tonight perhaps enjoy a cabaret or a typical Parisian bistro? (B) |
