Day #Description
1Arrive Toronto (2)
Arrive in Toronto by 5.00pm. Your Tour Director will be available from 1.00-6.00pm to assist with local information for your vacation.
2Toronto - Niagara Falls Full Day Excursion
Today is full of excitement as we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Niagara Falls. The parklike setting on the Canadian side of the Falls is delightful, but of course nothing compares to the incredible sights and sounds of the Falls themselves. Unbelievable! Then we take the opportunity to see the churning masses close up as we board the 'Maid of the Mist' for a boat ride to the base of the Falls. On our journey back to Toronto we will stop to visit the charming historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, former capital of Upper Canada. Tonight, get together with your traveling companions for a welcome drink hosted by our Tour Director before we dine at our hotel. (AB D)
3Toronto - Kingston
Our day starts with an orientation tour of Canada's largest city. We will drive past the Provincial Parliament Buildings, the CN Tower, City Hall and much more. We depart Toronto and cross the countryside of lower Ontario to picturesque Kingston. Located at the mouth of the Saint Lawrence River and Lake Ontario, it was one of Canada's historic ship building centers. This afternoon we visit Old Fort Henry, and then embark on our 1000 Island dinner cruise with views of beautiful river scenery. (AB) (HD
4Kingston - St. Sauveur-des-Monts
This morning we will drive into Lower Canada, passing quaint villages on our way to the Laurentian Mountains and St. Sauveur-des-Monts. These ancient mountains make up the backbone of Quebec. Autumn is especially spectacular with the fiery reds of the maple trees. Once a fearsome wilderness, the Laurentians now have well-known winter skiing resorts, and are just delightful in the summertime. (AB D)
5St. Sauveur-des-Monts - Quebec City (2)
We leave the scenic forests, lakes and rivers of the Laurentides, as we descend towards Quebec City. Here we spend the next two nights, in North America's only walled city. Wherever you turn you are sure to hear a charming French accent - this is the heart of French-speaking Canada. Tonight, why not join an optional dinner excursion? (AB)
6Quebec City sightseeing
This morning we enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the Citadel, Old Town Quebec, Ste. Anne de Beaupre Basilica, Montmorency Falls, the Plains of Abraham and more. Your afternoon is at leisure to relax or explore. Perhaps walk along the cobblestone streets of Old Quebec (sturdy shoes are recommended) and delight in the charming atmosphere of the 17th century. Luckily, many of the city's landmarks have been preserved. We will enjoy dinner at our hotel this evening. (AB D)
7Quebec City - Montreal (2) - Sightseeing
Today we're off to Montreal. This city is the cultural capital of French Canada, and is also the largest French-speaking city outside of France. On arrival, our guided sightseeing tour explores the major sights such as Vieux Montreal, the Old Port, Mount Royal and much more. The remainder of your day is at leisure. Tonight, dinner is at our hotel. (AB D)
8Montreal at leisure
Enjoy a full day at leisure in this city of two flavors - combining old and new, French and English, modern business and Old-World charm into the unique appeal of Montreal. Your Tour Director will be happy to advise you on how best to spend your time here, if you wish. (AB)
9Montreal - Ottawa
Our destination today is Ottawa, Canada's capital. On our arrival a sightseeing tour shows us the Parliament Buildings, Byward Market, the National Art Gallery and much more. The rest of the day is at leisure, perhaps to stroll along the Sparks Street Pedestrian Mall. This evening, we will get together to enjoy a farewell dinner hosted by our Tour Director. (AB) (HD)
10Ottawa - Depart Toronto
This morning we travel through the towns of historical Upper Canada, now the Province of Ontario, on our way back to Toronto this afternoon. We stop at Toronto International Airport at approximately 4.00pm for passengers departing today, plus a stop will be made at Sheraton Centre Toronto for passengers extending their stay. (AB)|Please do not schedule any flights before 6.00 pm
