1Arrive Vancouver (2)
Arrive in Vancouver by 5.00pm. Your Tour Director will be available from 1.00-6.00pm to assist with information. Then the rest of your day is at leisure.
2Vancouver sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour includes Stanley Park, Gastown, English Bay and much more. We return to our hotel with time at leisure to relax or perhaps explore on your own. Tonight, meet your fellow travelers again over a welcome drink and dinner at the hotel. (AB D)
3Vancouver - Seattle
This morning, we cross the border into the United States. Once we reach Seattle, we begin our sightseeing tour including a view of the Space Needle, Pike's Market and more. (AB)
4Seattle - Portland (2)
After a leisurely morning in Seattle, we are on the road towards Mt. St. Helen's Visitor Center. Afterwards we are off to Portland, city of roses. Here we enjoy a short orientation tour and make a visit to the International Rose Test Garden. (AB D)
5Portland - Columbia River Gorge Excursion
A morning filled with dramatic scenery as we explore the steep walls of the Columbia River Gorge. We'll visit Bonnieville Dam and have an opportunity to photograph Oregon's highest waterfall, Multnomah Falls. The late afternoon is at leisure on our return to Portland. (AB)
6Portland - Coos Bay
We stop at the scenic lighthouse and marine sanctuary, the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area on the Oregon Coast. Then on to Coos Bay, where colorful fishing vessels are sheltered in the harbor. (AB D)
7Coos Bay - Rogue River - Eureka
Today's highlight is a jet boat ride on the Rogue River. Afterward we head to Eureka, where many historic Victorian buildings recall the earlier Lumber and Fishing Baron time. See the Carson Mansion, one of the best. (AB D)
8Eureka - Napa Wine Train - Napa
We head into California's Wine Country after seeing the incredible redwood trees at the Avenue of the Giants. This evening, we board the Napa Wine Train, to roll in elegant comfort through the verdant vineyards while enjoying a delicious dinner and wine-tasting on-board. (AB) (HD)
9Napa - Depart San Francisco
Today we cross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco where on arrival we enjoy an orientation tour. It includes views of Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, the Financial District and the city as seen from Twin Peaks (weather permitting). Our tour ends with a scenic Bay Cruise. We disembark at Fisherman's Wharf where there's time on your own, perhaps to have some lunch. Our next stop will be at Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel before we continue on to San Francisco International Airport. We will arrive at approximately 2.30pm.
