  1. I don’t think I would like to stay in the “Shining” hotel. I would, however, like to visit Rose Hall in Jamaica.

    • Me neither, Catherine! I’ll stick with the calm hotels along beaches 🙂

    • Are you sure that you would like to visit Rose Hall. The witch of Rose Hall still frequents the rooms in the house and you can feel the chill when she is there.

    • And you should Catherine, I have visited it scary but if you enjoy history
      you will enjoy this place, not that I cared for how Annie Palmer was to her
      staff she was not a kind women but if you every get the chance to go there
      it is a must to see.

    hundreds of decapitated, severed dolls hanging from trees?? Sounds very spooky, Yikkes!!!

  6. I love Mexico and would go to Doll Island..I have seen this place on T.V…..very creepy…..should I bring a doll?

Mexico is such an exciting and beautiful place-the people so friendly.Just love it..While in Mexico earlier this year my daughter was involved in an accident and hurt very badly..Just about lost her arm..but at the hospital in Mexico they were amazing..2 surgeons worked on her surgery and did marvelous..they were in to see my daughter daily and the staff couldn’t have been better. Not somewhere we chose to visit but this experience from something horrible the staff turned into the best they could..
    About Jamaica there are books out about Rose Hall..Very interesting history..

  13. I’m not sure I’d go to Doll Island in Mexico as that would freak me out to see so while the rest of you do that I’d prefer to go to Aruba or Barbados or St. Lucia.
