Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Had a blast.
In late February 2026, my C/L and I booked our stay for 2 week and we were very pleasantly surprised by her Aunt and Uncle who came for the second week, we enjoyed the hotel and all the amenities. The hotel was in good shape, things were clean and well looked after. New construction was underway in the main lobby area of the hotel but it wasn’t an inconvenience at all. It was being done quickly and it looks like it will be a few nice additions. The hotel had nightly entertainment, the shows were pretty good. Vendors set up small stands in the main lobby every 2nd night which was nice. Very talented crafts people with a wide range of items. The food at the main buffet was very good with a wide selection of different kinds of food, different food stations, overall it was impressive. The different pools were nice, the swim up bar had a good selection of premium alcohol. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor), our room had a huge jacuzzi tub and a great view of the ocean. There is a 8th floor only lounge that offers premium beverages, a small but tasty breakfast, very friendly bartenders. The beach bar was very busy, but the staff very friendly. The hotel is family friendly with plenty of things for kids to do. There were kids cocktails which were a nice change for adults if you wanted. The beach snack bar had hotdogs, burgers, fries, there was a Chinese buffet close, lots of people kept the place busy, the food was fresh and tasty. The different bars were all well stocked and bartenders and servers were all friendly. Our room fridge was kept well stocked. There’s a main lobby late night snack bar (10 pm-6am), the cook was busy but always had a smile. Fresh hotdogs, hamburgers/cheeseburgers and fries were always cooking. The beach area was busy, you had to put your towel on a beach chair by 5 AM most mornings or you wouldn’t get a shade umbrella. To get a shaded lounger at the swim up bar area was almost impossible, I was there one morning by 5 AM and everything was taken. There was a lot of “sea weed” in the ocean during our 2 week stay but it apparently was everywhere so no big deal. We had issues booking A’ la carte restaurants and issues with slow or broken elevators. Overall, we found the hotel to be a very good experience and we have recommended it to family and friends. We plan on returning in February 2027.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Less than good
Our family had a great time in Mexico despite this resort. The food here is awful. We basically lived on french fries as that was the only thing that tasted normal. The main buffet building was closed for renovations which was never disclosed to us prior to booking. The pivot was to hold the buffet in the conference hall and the tables were set up with cloth tablecloths that were filthy. We laid our napkins down to make a clean placemat for our dining. There were long lines for the buffet and bars. It seemed like the resort just did not have enough staff. The floors were dirty and there was a chair in the lobby of the tower we were in that had blood on the cushion the entire 7 days we were there. In the evenings we would look for a table in the common area to play board games/cards with our kids and had to clean off tables and chairs ourselves in order to have a clean surface to play on and clean chairs to sit on. The beach location was good, the ocean was great. Our family had a good time but felt like we had to put up with the resort and make the best of it. We will never return to any Crown Paradise.

Crown Paradise Golden: Just OK
My description of this resort is that it is quite tired. It could definitely use some updating. When we arrived in our room it appeared clean and older but ok. Then we realized that we had no a/c which we reported right away. They sent someone but it never did get fixed…no a/c in 29/30C heat! The wood on the bathroom door was peeling…a new one is definitely needed. Our entrance door, also should be replaced. There were cracks in the panels so you could see through! Our sink blocked (the first time we used it, so not from anything that we did) so we reported it and they did fix it. Then the toilet was slow flushing so we reported it. When it was fixed it was too fast and almost shot a geyser when flushed but then there was a very toxic smelling odour coming from the bathroom…we asked for a new room. They accommodated us quickly with a new room which was slightly better. The food was ok but good luck getting into the à la carte restaurants. We would go online at 9 am (the time you’re allowed to book) to book for that night and they were usually all booked already! How does that happen?? And the two that we did manage to get into…the food was NOT great! The pools were very warm so nowhere to cool down and the rooftop pool was never running…no jets moving the water! The staff was lovely and very helpful. Our view was beautiful…an ocean view is a must!

Crown Paradise Golden: Average accommodation
The hotel grounds were well kept and clean. Roof top pool was really great. Hotel rooms were outdated and could use renovation, especially the washroom. It was worth upgrading room for an ocean view from the balcony. Biggest complaint was the food. Breakfast buffet was okay with fresh omelets or fried eggs. Lunch and dinner buffets were sub standard…meat selections were usually overcooked as were vegetables. Access to à la carte restaurants was impossible. In 7 days we were only able to book 2 dinners and in both cases, the main course was almost inedible…fish was over cooked and tough.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Really great resort.
We stayed at the Crown Paradise Club February 24 – March 3, 2026 The hotel grounds and public areas are lovely and very well kept. Our room was very nice. We had a Club room on the 7th floor in the Crown Tower. Yes this is an older hotel but it has been very well maintained for the most part. The room was really nice with a beautiful jet tub and a bathroom that we could have had a party in, all done in what looked like stone tiles. We had a nice balcony with a fabulous view of the beach and the ocean. Our room had no towels when we got there. I phoned housekeeping and in no time there was a maid at the door with towels. The service by all the staff was impeccable. They could not do enough for you. Their selection of restaurants was great. The main buffet had tremendous variety and I’m sure there is something for everyone. We tried all the Ala Carte restaurants, the little Fujiama sushi bar as well as the snack bar by the main pool. Just a note that you had to dress for the French restaurant and there were no children allowed. Men had to wear long pants and closed shoes. It was quite fancy. Best Lemon Drop martini ever. Because we had Club rooms we were afforded a number of extra privileges and they were really worth it. There was a plate of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and there was supposed to be fresh flowers too. I did get my flowers a few days later. There is a private Club Lounge on the 8th floor with floor to ceiling views of the ocean. There was a bar and in the evening they even had hor d’oeuvres. They had a consierge in the mornings for about 4 hours to help you with whatever you needed. She helped us navigate the restaurant reservation system. They also served a smaller breakfast buffet with hot and cold items as well. The mimosas were great. Besides the Club Lounge and the main buffet you could also go to the Italian restaurant where they also served breakfast. It was really great. You helped yourself to the buffet but if they didn’t have the style of eggs you wanted or bacon or breakfast sausage you just ordered straight from your waiter. He would bring out a whole dinner plate full for us. They made the best omelets I have ever had with a huge selection of fillings. This resort is very family oriented. They have a multitude of activities for kids. We estimated that at least 30 % of the guests were children. So if that bothers you, then this is not the resort for you. We didn’t mind. There are four pools at this resort. We only frequented the Adults only pool because we couldn’t find any chairs anywhere near the other pools. This was one of my pet peeves and I know I’ve read this complaint before. They do not have nearly enough chairs or shade by the pools so people are going down at 7:00 am or earlier to lay towels to claim chairs. Even at the Adults only pool, they did not have enough chairs or lounge beds. They definitely need more shade around that pool too and they could put more chairs up there. The Adults only pool did have two large hot tubs and a swim up bar which was really nice. The beach is nice but not many chairs or shade on it at all. The reservation system to book restaurants for supper really leaves something to be desired. It was downright stressful trying to get a reservation. You had to scan a QR code on your phone, be on at precisely 8:00am to book your chosen restaurant or you did not get a reservation. Each room has to do this even if you are travelling with others staying in different rooms. There were a couple of times when either my husband and I or our travelling companions did not get a reservation, or not for the same time. I have to say they did accommodate us and seat the four of us under one reservation when we showed up at the door. But if you had a larger group I could see where it could become a problem. There were a lot of little bars scattered all over the hotel. You were never far from a fresh margarita or a cerveza. A nice quiet lounge we discovered the day before we left was Trafalgar. It was off in a corner. It was done up British pub style. They had pool tables and I believe they may have had board games too. Another thing they really need to address is the elevator system. There were only 2 elevators in each tower. They were very slow. Many times only one was working. And the elevators in our tower were allergic to Floor 6 because it would scoot right by regularly. A day or two before we went home someone told us about the service elevators in behind the main elevators so we used those. They were much faster. They are apparently working on a third elevator in the Crown Tower. Hopefully it is operational soon.

Crown Paradise Club: Food
Our main complaint was the food in the two buffets. There was plenty of sides but the mains were horrible. They were either in a stew or soup style. So really you couldn’t tell what meat it was. I hardly ate anything. There was a lot of people complaining. Also considering it is a Sea side resort there was hardly any Sea food. The only shrimp we saw was again in some sort of sauce. Another complaint was that our room didn’t have a balcony. There was no mention of that in the on line add. There wasn’t enough umbrellas or beds around the pool. On the good side, the resort was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Crown Paradise Golden: Nice resort
We had an adventurous stay at crown paradise golden when the cartel decided to bomb the city. We never felt afraid for our safety. The staff were incredible! They rallied together and worked very hard to keep the guests comfortable. The resort is clean, the main pool was fun with activities while the rooftop pool was quiet and relaxing. The beach is swimmable with waves and little undertow. Our only complaint is the process for dining. The restaurants required a reservation process which opened online at 9 am and most restaurants were “full” by 9:02. Or the cite crashed. If you tried to just show up without a reservation you were turned away although the restaurant was clearly available with many tables. If you are a foodie, the food is average. For this reason alone I would not return.

Crown Paradise Golden: A solid 3 out of 5
It was an overall good experience. The staff were top tier, all over. They were all so friendly and nice and the bartenders never missed a beat and the omelette girl and the lunch shack girl especially worked their butts off in the blistering heat. The rooms were pretty nice and our bed got made every day, we got new towels and our fridge stocked. The pool was nice and when the entertainers showed up they were always awesome. A couple complaints I had. 1. You advertise Domestic and imported beers yet all you had was Cervesas everywhere. 2. We asked twice for a hair dryer and didn't get one. We also had no hot water a couple days (boiler issue I imagine, stuff happens, whatever.) 3. The reservation system for the a la carts were horrible. They would be immediately all filled up 2 minutes after 9 am because they only allow like 3 tables per time slot. You can also only ever reserve for 2 people so you never get to eat with your friends. 4. What's with hiding and portioning the bacon? It's a buffet.. 5. Sometimes the daily pool activities just wouldn't get done, that was kind of a bummer. All in all I had a fantastic week and would go here again but it didn't "blow me away".

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing
The hotel is great. Always clean and friendly. The suite was fabulous including the welcome bottle of wine and the flowers. All the staff is friendly, polite and ready to help you all times. Only concern is the resort has far too many sets of stairs which is very hard for a person like me with mobility issues. The a la cart restaurants are amazing.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Disappointing resort
My experience here was not great. It starts at check-in when another couple experienced an issue with the dates confirmed. They were to check-in the 17th of December, as per the email confimation they had but the hotel had them for the 18th. Surely a clerical error easily rectifiable, but no, the manager was rude and not accommodating in the least. My turn, check-in and there's a tax to be paid. I asked what it was, curious, and the answer I was given, "ma'am its a tax you habe to pay!" as though we had argued it unpleasantly. Get up to our room, ONE bed. No, I wven called the night before to guarantee 2 beds. I did NOT wish to sleep in the same bed as my 15 yr old son (that I only adopted a year ago) and when I asked for a different room and explained why, I was told there was never a guarantee. The room is sold as a double and costs more. No refund, no help. Just a beligerant employee. Room itself smelled like mildew and yes, there was mold in the bathroom. Then off the AC and open both the patio door and the room door for 10m. Make sure everything is stored or it will go flying. The food. OMG and I've been to Cuba in a 3*. The food was not good. You do get one.free a la carte dinner in one of their restaurants. I suggest the steakhouse but don't get your hopes up. Its good but it's not steakhouse good. Lastly, I found 4 syringes on the beach. On to some positive notes. The beach is nice. People go down at sunrise to "reserve" chairs. Get up early. The water is warm, clean, and not so salty it makes you itchy after a swim. We even slept outside one night when the sky was clear The staff that isn't at the front desk is super nice. My chambermaid was amazing. I have zero complaints there I would go back to Cancun. But I would definitely not stay here. For a similar rate, I'd go to a different resort. The RIU next door. I'm not much of a critic. I'm very laid back and almost never leave a negative review but if I can save a nice family from having a bad experience, it's worth it. Read the other not so great reviews before you book.

Crown Paradise Club: disappointing
The good: Nice beach Clean rooms The bad: Had to wait in line for breakfast almost every morning. Once for almost an hour. Once we arrived at 10:40am (breakfast closes at 11am.) We finally got in at 11:05am.We went straight to the omelette station, by the time we were through the line up they had removed all the food from the buffet. No toast, no fruit, nothing! The ugly There was a constant smell of sewage in the hallway going from the main reception to the north wing! We have stayed in Puerto Vallarta over a dozen times. We will never stay at this resort again.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Kid friendly
The hotel was clean, had great amenities, lots of great things for the kids. The big slides were awsome, the kids slides area was set up nice. The pools were freezing cold. The ocean was beauty, waves were always big everyday so little kids not so great for. Needs a swim up bar, and the food wasn't amazing at the buffet, the restaurants were tough to get in, when they needed reservations. The other ones you had to wait in lines, and after 6pm it was a long wait.

Big hotel. Lots for families to do. Great food, clean resort. Beach was good however no shade and very limited chairs and shade areas. Beach was quite steep to walk on. Pool areas also was difficult to get chairs. Reservations for supper was hard to get. Overall a good resort. Next to no partiers or roudy people which we liked. Vendors came regularly to resort. Watch the waves…lost two pairs of glasses. Had a beautiful view from our patio…enjoyed relaxing there.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Spacious resort with all room having an oceanview!
My family and I stayed at the Crown Paradise Club Cancun from Feb 12th to Feb 23rd, 2025. The resort was quite large and noisy; however, was impeccably clean and the room were nice. While the beach was sandy, it was course sand and hard to walk on as you sink into it every step you make, making it difficult to enjoy. The overall service was excellent and the main buffet was very good for lunch; however, they seem to serve the same things in the evening, which is not what you expect for sure. In the evenings we rotated to 3 of the 4 a la carte restaurants, the Italian, The French and the Steak House, all were quite good. They told us upon check in that we needed reservations for the French restaurant, which was not the case. I'd like to give a shout to out some particular staff members who exceeded our expectations. Alexis at the Italian Restaurant, Jose at the French Cuisine. Mary, the hostess at the Steak House, Jesus who was a superb Bellboy and last, but certainly not least, Joel, my beach server who kept my cold drinks coming all day long. You are all a credit to the hospitality industry.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Very Nice resort
We loved the lay out of the resort. We really liked the fact that one of their pools was inside under shade for those that were burnt by the sun or for those with sensitive skin in the sun. One thing we did not like was having to online reserve only, for the a la cartes restaurants on the day of and only starting at 8:00am for which everyone was trying to reserve for that day. Unfortunately we ended up getting a reservation at 8:30pm which is late when you have kids. A lot of times reservations were all gone by a few minutes after 8:00am. Which is not fair to everyone.

Crown Paradise Golden: Worst place I have ever visited. Would not recommend.
This place is run down. Starting for the door staff being not polite or helpful at all. Once we got our room, we started realizing the terrible mistake booking this place was. Room reeked of mold and was not cleaned well. Half the place was broken down, pool had no heating, coffee machines were broken, elevator would go to our floor on first try. There was no safe, it had to be requested. Entertainment was not good, sounds was horrible. Pool was always blasting techno music from 8AM (many rooms have a view to the pool so It gets loud in them). Restaurants had really bad tasting food. Gym had bunch of machines broken. Room service was extra charged (this was an all inclusive booking). One good thing was that many people from the staff were very kind and helpful. City is great to explore.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great place for a kid vacation!
Crown Paradise Long review (stayed with children) This is a family resort. If you don’t have children, I would not recommend it. That being said, it’s a GREAT family resort. Rooms - we had room 2103. All rooms have an ocean view. We were a party of 10 people in 3 rooms and we were all happy with our rooms (1202, 1203 and 1212). They were clean (and cleaned every day). I was worried about the “very hard beds” I’d read about in reviews but we all agreed that they were firm but still comfortable. We had a cot rolled in for one of our kids and that mattress was very soft. Bathrooms were a little small for 4 people but a minor inconvenience. Lots of hot water! Food - maybe the biggest downfall. As everyone mentions, the reservation system for the A La Cartes is awful. So hard to get a spot (must literally submit at 8:00am) and then you still won’t usually get a time you want. And it stinks to have to set an alarm on vacation. The buffet line ups are also quite long - fyi breakfast buffet available in convention centre too - quicker but fewer options). Our server in the buffet (La Palapa) was David most days and he was a highlight of the trip. He worked hard to find ways to seat our large group of 10 together when we he could. The buffet food was repetitive for all meals but with some variations. The ice cream is the same flavors every day. The A La Cartes were… okay? Their beef in all of them was tough, or not cooked as ordered or very fatty. Some “great” foods were the clams and the tuna salad dish at the French restaurant, the ribs, the crab cakes and the “beef in its own juice” at Wayne’s Boots, the churros at the Mexican restaurant. Hard to find good desserts as they’re mostly some variation of a gelatin dessert (except the apple turnovers and the pineapple upside down cake at the buffet). Pools - GREAT! We spent our days in the crown shaped big pool as it was quieter than the big infinity pool. Tough to find shade sometimes so that’s unfortunate. The covered pool is the only one that’s heated, i believe, but we all happily swam in the other one :) The waterslides were great too - such a great bonus! Kids club - Kids only went once but they had a BLAST! We had two sets of kids (cousins) so they mostly played with another but if that wasn’t the case, they would have spent more time making friends there. The staff are wonderful. The first time you take your kids you have to fill out a waiver hit after that it’s an easy drop off. Beach - it was mostly red flags while we were there. So, big waves. Kids had fun playing/wave jumping where it was shallow but I wouldn’t suggest it for swimming. However, I’ve heard it can be calmer at other times. The sand is so soft and doesn’t get hot. You can walk down to the left to the “Playa Delfines” beach too - we did this once but found it pretty much like the beach at the resort (and it’s a hot 5 minute walk…). We went to the shows every night except one. They were a mix of okay and great. Michael Jackson was awesome (heads up that “zombies” come out during Thriller and may worry kids), as was Disney night. We read lots of worrisome reviews before we came. I think it’s a matter of where you set your bar. Were there imperfections? Of course, especially if you look for them. Overall though it was a fantastic vacation and we’d definitely return. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. There is SO much to do. Tips - Bring some string and clothes pins to make a makeshift drying line on your balcony because your bathing will never dry in your bathroom. Foam party is Monday at 4 (probably). Mixed responses to when it is but we missed it sadly. Ask everyday :)

Another trip done at crown golden in pv we found the same great people trying do the work with not enough staff long lines on the bars and snack bars the old hotel is getting very tired. Rooms were clean but we had no water in the room on our last day the food was good I think the owners should let the people on the beach sell you a tour and take more pride in the service they provide After 6 times at the crown I think it is time to move on but I will miss the location and the staff. But I did hear there will be new owners in November 24 good I hope they read this and give the old hotel a new face and look after the great people they have working for them Hats off to the door man who is retiring after 60 years I would like to return after the new owners fix it up but I guess that is in there hands I would not recommend this hotel until it is renovated thanks al b

Crown Paradise Golden: HELPFUL STAFF AND ALWAYS WITH A SMILE!
When we first arrived at the Crown Paradise Golden, we were a little disappointed. Our oceanfront room was in an older complex of the hotel. Although the view was great, the room itself wasn't what we expected. It was tired, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, and the tv was very snowy, also there were only 2 English stations, CNN and a movie station, that played the worst films ever! The following morning, my husband went to take a shower and the water was cold. He immediately went to complain to the manager, Roman. Roman was fantastic! He showed us 2 modern rooms in a newer building and said we had our pick. These rooms were ocean view, not oceanfront, but we were very pleased with the room and we didn't plan on spending our day on our balcony anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for us. Roman also made restaurant reservations for us in each of the 6 restaurants at the resort. We still only had 2 tv stations, but the picture was clear and, most importantly, we had a huge shower with hot water. A couple of the restaurants were mediocre, but a couple of them were very good. Our favourites were Paradise resto (Mediterranean), and the French resto Sans Soucy. The Mexican and Japanese restos were pretty good but we didn't try the Italian Piazzo resto so we can't say anything about that one. Our first evening we had dinner at Salvador's resto, which was very bright, like someone's kitchen, and the steak we ordered was terrible. I left most of food on the plate and we never returned. I'm sure if you order chicken or fish it may be ok, but we were not impressed with this restaurant. Breakfast was always good at the buffet restaurant, lots of variety and fresh food, and the staff were great, always with a smile and continuously taking care of the guests. Francisco was my favourite at the buffet restaurant. He was a hard worker, always smiling and always there if you needed anything! He was great! The beach is long but a little hilly, so not the greatest if you like to take long walks on the beach. Some of the areas had quite big waves, but other parts were a little more calm. Most days at the beach were sunny and 30/31 degrees celcius, so it was very hot and humid. There are lots of vendors on the beach, but as soon as you say "no gracias", they move along and don't pressure. We all have to make a living and this is their way of supporting their families, so I really didn't mind this at all. As a matter of fact, we made friends with a few of them and they'd pass by everyday just to say hello and we always had a laugh with them. On a final note, I have to say I love the Mexican people in Puerto Vallarta! Most are warm, friendly and very helpful! There are so many beautiful places to visit in this world, but I would return to Puerto Vallarta some day! Buenos dias y gracias to all our Mexican friends we met while staying at the Crown Paradise Golden!

Crown Paradise Golden: Crown Paradise
I have a mixed experience with Crown Paradise Golden. The first visit in May 2023 was above expectations. The perfect location, a good beach, and exceptional service. However, the second stay was disappointing. The resort did not move to another place: the same beach, the exact same location, the same pool. But the quality of service definitely went down significantly. The resort is short-staffed, with long lines everywhere and endless waiting for room service. The food in the buffet is pretty much the same every single day, with no variety of choices. I am not a big fan of alcohol, but I found cocktails are too watery (with traces of some alcohol in). The beer and wine are still good. Cleaning (with small tips on) is still good. Staff are still friendly, but very tired because of plenty of work and indifferent if you need some extra help and you don't have bucks in your hands. This is something negative that came from Cancun and definitely further influence of it will make PVR less attractive in the future. We were surprised by service degradation in just four months since the last visit. Very disappointing! Once again, it has nothing to do with personnel but management. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this resort and would not return myself.

Crown Paradise Club: Great budget/kid friendly resort
Overall I would give this resort a 3.5/5. Pros: friendly staff, great beach, could always find chairs by the bigger pools and beach, spacious rooms, all pools were good size for kids, food wasn’t 5 stars but you could usually find something you like! Cons: small and uncomfortable beds, bar hours/supplies (kept running out of light beer and champagne, smell in bathroom was atrocious, not enough seating around the kids pool, seemed short staffed especially at the bars, and I don’t understand the need for an adults only pool on such a kid friendly resort when the adults only resort is right next door, use the space for something else lol I wouldn’t go back to this resort BUT if you’ve booked it, don’t regret it. Vacations are what you make them and we had a blast at this resort.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Okay
The rooms were beautiful, i think having an oceanview really made the package, the AC in the room was a little off though and it wasnt super cold in the room all the time which is usually what you want. the buffet food was okay for breakfast and lunch, having all the little extra snackbars around the resort is really nice and we absolutely loved the french restaurant that was on the resort and the waiter Erik. He had us for 3 days straight. We also had the power go out for 5 hours there and they had no idea when we’d get it back. Id say its very kid oriented which wasnt the worst at all.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great for young children!
The resort had lots of fun things to do for young children. There is a kids club that has a pirates ship water park with lots of slides, basketball court, movie room and crafts! There are a few pools and one which is somewhat indoor which was good when the kids had enough sun. The food and staff are excellent. Very clean resort but a little old looking.

Crown Paradise Club: Not as expected
The hotel and grounds were beautiful. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We knew it was a family hotel however were a little overwhelmed by how many kids were there. We had no problem getting into the buffet for eating but it was extremely noisy. It may have been spring break for a lot which would explain it. Lots however for kids to do. Weren’t able to get into the ala cartes. Our room was ok however was more of a suite. This was in the older part of the hotel. No dishes or anything but a coffee pot. We requested tea however on the request sheet in the room but didn’t get it. We ended up getting some from the restaurant. There also was a bad odour from the bathroom in the room, and beds (mattresses) stored right outside our door and many others the whole time we were there. Not sure if the rooms in the bigger part of the hotel would have been better or not. On day two we requested an upgrade to the Crown Paradise Golden however couldn’t get in for a few days. We didn’t complain about these two issues as we were leaving. We did find the adult only pool which made for a relaxing time. On the whole, good staff, good service however the part we were in was definitely not 4 star material. Would not recommend for adults only..

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Not really suitable if you cannot do stairs
Clean and well kept. They take care of everything and are always working on something. As I use a walker to get around, even though they had ramps I found it very difficult to use. They were too steep and if my daughter had not been there I would not have been able to get around. I did have an accessible room and would spend most of my time on my balcony looking at the water and enjoying the sunshine. Weather was great all week.

Crown Paradise Golden: Nice Resort
Grounds were well kept, resort was clean, views were amazing from our oceanfront room. Bar outside the oceanfront room was really noisy until very late. Food was good, lots of variety although I did pick up some sort of gastrointestinal bug 3 days in to our 7 day trip. Tables in the buffet restaurant were dusted off with a dish cloth between diners - no spray sanitizer or proper wipe down. Servers were very slow in bringing drinks or clearing plates. Hand sanitizer units around the resort were empty. A few bar servers and restaurant staff wore masks - never saw any travelers with masks on. We’d been to this resort on several different occasions over the years - this time it appeared tired and in need of some sprucing up (pool tiles chipped, etc). New roof top pool area was very nice although all the locks on the bathroom stall doors were broken/missing.

Crown Paradise Club: Do not stay here
For the money spent for a 10 day stay, rooms were terrible, 1st room at check in was a dungeon, 2nd room was better but it took 3 days to get the AC repaired. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Maid service was often very late in the day even as late as 5:30pm. The buffet was barely edible and for my wife so often could not eat anything as nothing was appealing. the reservation process for the Ala Carte restaurant is TERRIBLE!!! On line only for the day of at 9am, so every guest would be trying at the same time to get a reservation. for a 10 day stay i could only get 2 dinners. the only upside for the resort was the waiters and bar staff, they we very nice and accommodating.

Crown Paradise Golden: Nice location and beach, nice pools, tolerable food and drinks, rooms in need of maintenance
The resort is a short drive from the airport and is situated along a beautiful stretch of beach. RESERVATIONS/CHECK-IN: My wife and I didn't get the room we booked when we checked in and were told we could switch to the room we booked the next day, but when we went the next day we were told there were no rooms available. We also heard stories from other guests that were told they didn't have a room at all when they showed up, and they were told they would have to find a room in another hotel and were given brochures for other hotels. In what world could anybody possible think this is Ok ? FOOD/RESTAURANTS: The buffet was just Ok, the lowest quality we have seen in our many years of travelling to all-inclusive resorts. Service in the buffet was good. The reservation system for the restaurants was horrible. You have to make reservations online per room number and have to try to reserve right at 9:00am if you want to have any chance of getting in. You can only reserve for 2 people, so if you're in a group you will have to ask for a table together when you get there. The food was good in the restaurants and the snack bar by the poolside bar was not great but better than the buffet. Not a lot of effort was put into mixing drinks... they rarely tasted the same twice and were low quality. ROOMS: The rooms were OK. Even though we were in tower 3 which is the newest of the rooms, the rooms were broken down and dated. Our fridge and safe didn't work and never did get fixed during our stay, even though we informed the staff of the issues. We were there a week and had a lukewarm shower a couple of days, but it was hot the other days and was nice. POOLS/BEACH: The pools were nice. The swim-up bar on the 7th floor of tower 3 had a great view and was nice and warm. The main pool was pretty good... the water temp was a bit cool but not too bad. The filter panels around the pool were broken up a bit so it looked like it could use a little TLC. The only way to access the swim-up bar was to go up into the hot tub area. The beach area was very nice and seemed to be well kept up, but the constant parade of vendors selling sunglasses and hats and blankets got old pretty fast... the same vendors walked in circles asking us over and over if we wanted to buy something. Getting chairs on the beach or around the pool required you to get up by 4:00am to place your towels on them to reserve them, and hope that nobody stole your towels, which also happened to some people. The chairs go fast, so get out there early! STAFF: Overall the staff was fairly proficient and did what they could with what they were offering.

Crown Paradise Club: Nice Resort
The children's park and play area was amazing, but green areas were lacking at the resort. Most of the resort is concrete. Staff were absolutely stellar and did all that they could to assist us. Room cleaning was somewhat lacking. We removed the sheets on our beds after six days so that they would be changed. We do understand saving water is very important and we did reuse our towels for several days to help out. Booking specialty restaurants was not efficient. At exactly 9:01 the entire hotel was using the QR code attempting to book a restaurant. The buffet restaurant offered a lot of variety and the three specialty restaurants on the Club side of the resort were excellent. We had access to the adult side as well and the specialty restaurants on that side were sadly lacking. The Club side of the resort is much, much nicer than the adult side.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Good family resort!
Pros: -clean and great service -buffet food was very good -lots to do for kids Cons: -night noise. rooms in tower 1 are subject to a lot of noise at night from people partying in the main floor bars and midway snack bar (open all night) as it has indoor atrium setupMgmt did nothing to correct the noise or sorting. -a la carte restaurants are near impossible to book. They have a telephone reservation system that you have to use the day of to book. Unless you want to spend your vacation on the phone, it’s hard to get through to book. We were able to book one à la carte and when we went, the restaurant was pretty empty. Thus making me believe they want to funnel everyone to the buffet instead (less overhead costs).

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Truly horrible.
First of all, I have never written a review for a vacation before, but for this experience it needs to be done. We waited almost 3 years to take our honeymoon trip (COVID cancellations ). To start off, we weren't on the Westjet transfer list when we landed in Cancun, so had to pay $75.00 US to take a 7 minute cab ride. We waited in line for over an hour to check in to the hotel and were advised we had to book the restaurants by our hotel room telephone in the morning (each morning). We later discovered that this process takes approximately 1 - 2 hours to get through to anyone to book said restaurant (then of course all the pool chairs are taken). The restaurants had about 5 tables per seating??!!! We were truly shocked when we got to our VERY dated and smelly hotel room (2 double beds lol). The bathroom was ridiculous (small tub with moldy edges, and the shower head was so low you had to duck to get your hair wet). Our ocean view room was mostly the view of the next door vacant lot with the rubble left from the last resort - very disappointing. As we arrived too late to book a restaurant, we went to the buffet, thinking that it would be fine and not that bad. How wrong we were... we hunted for something to eat, circling several times and ended up with a couple of dinner rolls and margarine (seriously) it was so bad lol and the nights we had to eat there - we didn't. Luckily, there is a Subway across the street. Breakfasts in the buffet were a series of long line ups to simply get in , then more line ups for horrible food (pizza with black beans and no sauce lol). Line-ups for overdone eggs and empty bins of bacon and rubberized pancakes, and french fries? (although the fruit was good). The booze is clearly doctored, asking for Smirnoff vodka and watching them pour it didn't matter, it still tastes like crappy tequila. To top it all off. someone came to our door with extermination equipment?!! We asked at the front desk for clarification and were advised it was standard procedure... ugh, so disheartening. Overall, this was the worst Mexico trip I have experienced (8 times in total). It was a horrible, expensive experience. I will not be returning to Cancun again nor would I recommend this resort to anyone - EVER

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: A very construction filled stay
The resort was well spread out and tidy. However the entire time we were at your resort the room directly above us and several others were under construction around us. Hammers grinders chisels every single day while my one year old tried to sleep. Water was dripping from the lights in our bathroom due to construction. As well as the room directly beside us had smokers in it. We complained twice and nothing was done. I'd give the resort a 3 out of 5 due to all these issues.

After reading some of the reviews before our stay I was a bit nervous! But I was pleasantly surprised! We went with our 3 kids (9,6 and 4) they had the best time. Kids club was 10/10! We loved the A La Cartes. The actives at the main pool were fun during the day for the kids. We enjoyed the waterslides, beach, mini golf, games room, entertainment in the evening was great. I don’t really have any complaints.

Crown Paradise Club: Not for singles, or families with older children.
We would not return to this hotel. It is totally geared to families with young children, and you need to be prepared to wait for almost everything. They had our reservation mixed up, and it took hours and hours to check in and finally get our room. The staff although pleasant and trying to help, were in most cases unable to assist as their English was extremely limited. The bar tenders, and bell men spoke the best English of all, however they could only help with limited issues. Phone down to front desk or housekeeping was useless. The buffet food was adequate at best, and definitely repurposed day to day. The on-site restaurants, were also a disappointment. They pools, were nice, however the swim up bar was understandably in the adult pool, however it was in the "jacuzzi" part of the pool, and extremely HOT! If I had young children (3 to 12), I might consider returning for a few days, as the premises is geared towards the kids, and the kids pool area is fantastic.

Crown Paradise Golden: Excellent Resort
This is an excellent hotel. Very clean, Rooms are very nice, i had an ocean view room which was great. Food was Good. There breakfast buffet is good, i tried out several of there restaurants and no complaints about the food, my favorite was the French cuisine, and also El Salvador's. Very close to downtown Malecon, and 100 Mexican peso will take you there in 15 minutes. Very close to the marina you can walk there and lots of Restaurants there if you decide to eat out one evening. you can also see all the cruise ships coming and going from the resort beach. I have not travelled anywhere in over 3 years due to the pandemic, and i wasn't sure what to expect in Mexico or at the Hotel Resort. Everyone was being themselves No masks anywhere, There is sun beds on the beach with is a distance from One another, but again everyone was being themselves and it was like the pandemic was over, My suggestion is always wash your hands and sanitize no matter what. The hotel has nightly shows which are very good, i saw two shows during my 7 days, the Mexican show, and Broadway. I have stayed at this hotel several times and what brings me back to the same hotel is the service. all the staff is very friendly.

Crown Paradise Golden: Very nice resort
Check in was a breeze. Once checked in finding your way around was easy as it is a small resort. Our room was on the ground floor directly on the beach and was cleaned very well daily. Buffet was average for the most part. Restaurants were very good. Covid precautions were masks if in buffet or ordering food. A glove for serving yourself at the buffet. Service was great overall as they want you to touch as few things as possible. The beach is very good. A little rough on occasion but not too much. The best part of the resort was the Sky Pool bar. Beautiful views and great atmosphere. You can see whales from the beach and we witnessed sea turtles hatching one day as well. We went to the hospital across the street from the resort to do our PCR covid test and had the results promptly within 24 hours. Overall a very good experience.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great beach & Hotel
We really enjoyed the Crown Paradise Golden - this resort has 2 sides, one for families and an adult section - you have access to both areas. The family side looked like great fun for the kids and parents - the buffet was large and they took into consideration the appetites of kids as well there seemed to be a great selection for their parents also. The adult side was also very nice - clean, great service, friendly staff and really good food, the rooms had air conditioning and ceiling fans and were nice and cool. What we really enjoyed at this resort was the beach. Puerto Vallarta's beaches can be quite turbulent - however this hotel is right in the green zone - so quite safe and it was fabulous. When you first look at the pool area and the beach you will notice that a lot of chairs have been claimed by early risers who have put their towels on them but they don't use them till quite late in the day which is a bit disappointing, however when ever we went to the beach we never had a problem getting chairs. The only things that I could suggest for this hotel would be a coffee maker in the room and perhaps more lounge chairs for the pool and beach areas - or that they don't allow people to claim them for the day ( I have seen other resorts that do not allow holding chairs). Would I recommend this resort Yes definitely!

Crown Paradise Golden: Sorry they missed the mark
We stayed in the new tower (opened 6 maths ago). Great room. No chamber service day after arrival. General cleanliness of the resort was lacking. Staff overall were friendly and helpful. Buffet lacked variety and quality of food. Same fruit, same choices every day for breakfast. details...margarine instead of butter, Guacamole from a bag, packaged juices, poor cuts of meat, poor selection of veggies. A la carte restaurants had no ambience, lack of decor. Food was mediocre in quality and variety. Japanese restaurant was best, Mexican worst. Reservation system was ridiculous and confusing as restaurants were dark certain days but information not posted. Dozens of couples turned away from 1/3 to half empty restaurants when they showed up w/o a reservation in the evening. General information about resort activities only posted at main pool. No daily sheet or room TV info. No idea what was going on the following day until posted manually on the board at 9 am day of!! Drinks inconsistent between bars. Sky bar 7 and pool were great. beautiful view. So much potential and easy fixes as this resort is well located and great social atmosphere.

Crown Paradise Golden: NOT SAFE, Waiter Grabbed My Wife!
NOT SAFE! BE AWARE! The night turned into the nightmare! Bartender/Waiter follows my wife and her friend back from the beach bar along the pool... grabs her (my wife) hand, puts his arm around her, massages her shoulder, starts massaging her back! Waits for them by the main Lobby (this is after 11pm, his shift is 3-11) follows them into the elevator, says he lives there and has to go clean the pool on 7th floor, remember he is a waiter! The girls get off on 4th floor, he puts his foot out so the door won't close. My wife tells her friend what has happened and they see the door for the elevator is still open! He hears them talking about him and exits down the stairwell. We meet with the Head of Security Eduardo he tells us Gilberto (the waiter that grabbed my wife) did nothing wrong! I asked to see the security camera footage from the pool area, he tells us he watched it and that it was consensual! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! He twisted this horrible ordeal around and made it like the girls did something wrong! Says to me, this is Mexico, what are you going to do... go ahead, call the police. My wife was absolutely terrified the rest of our vacation! I tried calling the hotel a number of times to speak with the owner/manager but can't get through. To date they have made NO effort to contact us and I would bet they won't! I would love to chat with them that is for sure!! We were moved out of the hotel by our airline, thank god! Stay away from this place, it is clearly NOT SAFE!

Crown Paradise Golden: So friendly!
The key word for this resort is Friendly. There are lots of returning guests who are welcoming and fill you in on the restaurants and where to go in town. The staff always has a smile for you and are willing to help with on-site inquiries; though they don't have much information about what to do or where to eat in town. There is a tour booking place on site. This resort is mostly older buildings and one brand new building, called building 3. Building 3, the tower, has no view of the water, but it's nice. Buildings 1 and 2 are the older ones, which show their age, but most rooms have a view of the ocean and pool. We had 1401 which was right on the outer corner so we had a superb view of the ocean, beach and pool. It's an adult only location, with a family site right next door. We could go there to eat and use their amenities, but they could not come to our hotel. Though the beach is nothing like what you find in the Caribbean, it is still a beach, not rocky, and great warm water to enjoy.

Crown Paradise Club: Great resort for families
This resort was wonderful for families. Lots of amenities for the kids including waterpark, playground, pools, beach access. It was very easy to get into town and explore what else Puerto Vallarta offers by bus or taxi. Staff was always very friendly and helpful with any of our needs or requests/questions. They offer a family room with bunk beds for children. These rooms are more costly but aren't any bigger. In fact, the bunk bed area is taken from the space where the balcony would normally be so there's only a very small balcony. Also all family rooms are facing a street which can get noisy. The regular rooms have larger balconies and a lot of them face the gardens or pools. If I was returning, I would put my two kids in a regular room and have them share one of the double beds. We were stuck eating at the buffet all week which didn't have the greatest food. The a la carte restaurants have restrictions for when or if kids can join and all require nice clothing.

The alacarte restaurants were excellent with great food and staff. The public washrooms could use a lilttle more attention as there are so many people using them. The pools were great. Large jacuzzi was warm with jets but by the end of the day, it was murky - pristine the next day. All in all I thought this was a great resort and I have stayed in many in Puerto Vallarta. Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing location but ......
Hotel looks old and require maintenance in many areas. We instructed to get two rooms side by side on same floor due to 24 hour observation required for our children. But we were given rooms on separate floors. Had to check out at 11 to ensure we get rooms side by side on next day and could not get replacement until around 4 pm. Pretty well lost whole day without sleep because of safety of our children. No choices were available for vegetarians. Morning, afternoon and evenings were same old stuff: Broccoli and cauliflower boiled in water. Celery and carrots boiled. Or Cactus that we never ate in our life. It was boring to see the same choices over and over again. In-spite of complain they did not change anything. Even stuff that was labeled as vegetarian like: corn soup will have chicken or pork in it. Pizzas were lousy. Bathrooms on first day needed power wash. I would have almost vomited - looking at the bath tub. While changing rooms, we left some stuff in old rooms and they could not locate them. Telephone repair took more than 7 days. Overall 1 to 2 star and never will book at this place again.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Crown Paradise puerto Vallarta
Well my review has some good but more bad. Check in was good, rooms were ok , clean, house keeping was good unless it was changeover days they we were neglected and when they finally come to clean , basically they made beds, left no towels, face cloths, didn't change garbage, clean cups and coffee pot, and we were trying to get ready for photo shoot, so frustrated. There was nine of us so was able to borrow enough from others. It wasn't just our room it was all four rooms. I find they cater to the Mexicans. Then my parents room safe gets broken into and $1000.00 was stolen, no compensation for it, and our daughters room had money stolen too. Drink service by pools were very slow we just got our own, buffet was hit and miss usually cold, not much of a selection, again more for Mexicans You could never get reservations for the restaurants they were always booked with club members. Will never be back to this resort, I give it a 1 out of 10.👎ðŸ»ðŸ‘ŽðŸ»ðŸ‘ŽðŸ»ðŸ‘ŽðŸ»ðŸ‘ŽðŸ»

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort for families
First time in Cancun but have visited Mexico (Mayan Riviera) several times. We were a group of five (2 adults and 3 kids: 9, 8 and 2). We enjoyed the closeness of the hotel to the airport and the beach was far better than the other places we visited in Mexico (no seaweed). Hotel was great too - all rooms had a view of the ocean and everything was easily accessible (no need to take shuttle buses or walk long distances). The only small negative was that it was not super stroller friendly as there are lots of stairs to get anywhere and ramps were few or on a major incline (must have been built long ago). Buffet food was OK (better other resorts), but service all around was superb and the restaurants made up for the rest. Our favourites: Italian, Mexican, Seafood and then Steakhouse. The kids club was alright. They had waterslides and a water park. Water park had ice-cold water, so while fun in theory, kids did not go. Also not many activities there compared to other resorts. I imagine they do not bother because of the waterslides and park. Overall, great. Recommend!

Crown Paradise Golden: Great Resort
The hotel is in good condition, rooms are largish. We had a King bed. Bathroom is very roomy as well. Clothes storage is somewhat limited, but doable. Comes with a safe, iron & ironing board. Free beverages are refilled daily in the mini fridge. Sadly no wine in the fridge! Service is really good - they even have drink service (with premium drinks) around the pool and on the beach. The grounds are beautifully kept. There are 6 specialty restaurants - most of them very good. We didn't find the food at the Mediterranean very good. Things we didn't like: there is not enough shade around the pool. Our room was located in the block over the Lobby & Bar. It was very noisy on the weekends sometimes until 2pm. We heard from others that they were able to switch their room to a quieter section, but we didn't do that. We would go back here if another special came up.

Crown Paradise Golden: Another awesome stay
This is our 4th visit to this hotel and again they did not disappoint. This is an all adult resort attached to a family resort that we could also use for dinners etc. The staff here are wonderfully attentive. The beach area is great and the water is clean. We were there in November and the weather was hot and sunny. We enjoy this resort as it is easy and cheap to take the local bus into town.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: A lovely week
This was our first time to Cancun. We are a couple in our 50s, and comfort, good food and great service are high on our list. The Crown Paradise has all that plus a great beach! We loved our view; every room in the hotel has an ocean view. What a difference it made to our mornings, to be able to sit in bed with coffee and a book, and to have that incredible view to enjoy! One distinctive service was that you could order coffee and breakfast to be delivered to your room, for a small fee of about $5. We got hooked on that! But there was always coffee in the room as well. We also loved the adult pool, with its sun beds and hot tubs. Excellent service again. Something to keep in mind, though, is that this is very much a family resort. There are lots of activities for kids, and the evening show is earlier than most so the kids can attend. We would have liked some music in the evenings that wasn’t just singers singing to a karaoke track; it’s just not that interesting. I miss the days when it would be a guitarist and a singer, or a small band. We really liked the French restaurant; had amazing service, great food, and tried some Mexican wines, wonderful! It also had a more sophisticated setting, and again, that spectacular view. The beach was gorgeous. We are beach people, and love to walk forever and play in the waves. The sand was perfect, the waves were a little on the wild side but there had been some storms. It was a lot of fun but some people didn’t realize how powerful they can be; two men got caught out in the waves and had to be rescued by the lifeguards. Kudos to those lifeguards; they got out there and brought them back to safety. All in all, we’d go back if we were travelling with family. It was definitely worth every penny.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Very nice
Checked in and the bathroom started leaking water from the ceiling. After a technician came start cutting the ceiling and fixing it but at 5 pm We went to see our room and a big hole on the ceiling still there with mess everywhere and only at 830 pm at night I kindly asked to change the room nobody offered me that. Paid for Ocean view room completely blocked by a palm tree we couldn’t see the ocean at all. The rooms were a bit old and nothing to do with the pics online. Bathtub blacked out with the time and seemed not as clean. They were days that we had to ask to come to clean our bedroom even if we had left the room at 8 and come back at 14:00 o clock. When we visited the hotel was I guess under construction “nobody told us anything†and at 2-3 pm while with 2 babies trying to sleep drilling noises and compressors everywhere... impossible to sleep. Beside all that hotel was in good location with many activities and shows for the kids swimming pool view amazing you could see the ocean. Food “buffet “and drinks were very nice. Restaurants were very nice and professional with excellent service. Overall experience it was good.

Crown Paradise Golden: Intresting Experience !!!
Friest off the Resort was very small. When we got there to eat we did not feel welcome, we had to ask for water several times, but The FAMILY side dining was very welcoming. Not the adult side, so most of the time we had to stay on the family side as the food selection was better. Overall the experience was very Interesting.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort
Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Offered me a free upgrade when I arrived and it was a amazing room. Ginormous jetted tub, cleaning staff Carmen left me these beautiful towel art pieces on the edge of my tub each day. She put rose pedals all around the tub, flower arrangements out each day. These all made me feel like royalty. I would recommend this hotel chain to everyone.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Fantastic resort!
We had a wonderful time. The resort is clean, staff is friendly and the food was excellent! We can not think of one thing to improve. The only complaint we have is that 10 days was not enough. We will definitely go again to this resort.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great family resort
This was our second stay at the resort. It may not be 5 star gorgeous, but we found the resort clean, the food great and the pools and beach amazing. Everyone at the resort works very hard and aims to please their guests. We may not be heading back for a 3rd time, unless the price is right again. Super close to airport and close to the sights of cancun shopping and excursions.

Crown Paradise Club: Perfect Resort for kids!
We took our boys ages 5&3 to this perfect resort for kids and they loved it! While the rooms are very dated and simple everything is clean. The beds were terrible!! The a la carts are amazing and are a must! The ocean is very rough and kids cannot go in alone so we mostly played at the pool and water park.

Crown Paradise Golden: GOLDEN CROWN PARADISE
Good things: sun, beach, warm weather, staff was awesome Negative: seemed to be a party resort with too many young adults that took over the pool and hot tube. Daily there was beer pong and one day they were all twerking around the pool. I am not prude but this is not what I signed up for. Food in the buffet was not good and with it being outside you got the birds coming in an picking at the food...not a good thing. Food in the Salvador Restaurant was really good. Did not like that the disco/entertainment space was across the parking lot and across the street and not in the resort. Always had to go around the resort to the beach because pool was not really available. Beach side was really nice, with bar close by. However could use more umbrellas. Sorry but I would not go back

Crown Paradise Golden: Wonderful time and great staff
What to say: Hotel was quaint, well maintained with great staff. Rooms are all well located to view the ocean ( partial of full). Try to get 3rd floor +. Food: Was worried about past reviews, however, food selection was good. Beach: Nice beach, took long walks and sellers were fun to talk to. Surroundings: Walking distance to mall, walmart and some good rests ( not expensive). We walked a few times to downtown ( 1hr) or 10 minutes taxi. Good restaurants with great local flavours along with great taquila. Try to get your souvenirs locally and not at airport, airport has not as much selection. Marina near by and every morning cruise ships arrive, nice to see.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great view BAD FOOD
Room was updated and quite nice. Beds were new. Fridge and AC actually worked. Staff was great. Views were breathtaking. Pools and surrounding area needed to be cleaned more than once a week! With how nice this place was it's a shame how crazy the food actually was. Hard to believe but it was a minus 10 in comparison to Cuba. Not a joke at all. I'm not a picky eater at all but ended up living on break fries and cereal for 10 days.

This resort was above and beyond what we could’ve asked for! The grounds were tidy, clean and very well kept. The food was outstanding in every aspect and the alacarts were to die for! The beach was clean, the waves were great and we were even served drinks on the sand. We will not book anywhere else from this point on - amazing experience !

Crown Paradise Golden: Nice Resort
I liked the hotel due to it being small in size, service was great from all of the staff throughout the resort. The only negative I had was the service and the food at the international restaurant. The service was slow ,food was not what it stated on menu. A bottle of wine fell on the floor and it sat there the whole time we were in the restaurant. The host of the restaurant was overwhelmed and didn't appear to want to be there.

This is our first time to Cancun and we were not sure how the reception is going to be but the minute we landed, it’s all smiles. People are amazing there and they sure know how to treat people. They have amazing staffs and pretty much all the rooms has beach view. It’s well worth the money.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort for kids.except pools extremely cold.
The resort is great for kids as it has various pools, a play room (most staff are great!) and a water park for both kids and adults! There were a lot of families there but it didn't feel too packed as it is fairly big. Buffet was good, a la carte restaurants were good except the French was closed for renovations. Fishermans was the best, then Mexican, Steakhouse, and Italian our least fav. There are lots of stairs there so it's not great for older, less mobile people and isn't totally stroller friendly although you can manage. Beach was nice and clean, ocean was a bit rough but great. I didn't see any water activities. My least favourite part was that the pools were VERY COLD. Too cold for babies, which was a huge disappointment as they can't go into the ocean. It could have been the rain the first 2 days they should heat at least one pool for times like this. They were fairly empty because of the frigid temperature. There are small tiny ants in the room so don't leave ANY food out. You have to look really close as they blend into the counter tops. If it weren't for the temperature of the pools I would recommend this for families of young children.

Crown Paradise Club: A few quick tips and tricks
Breakfast - Where is the bacon? It took me a few days but i found out the omelet lady is the dispenser of the bacon. A $1 tip and smile went a long way towards a decent stack every morning. If you are like us and like sitting close to the edge of the water an umbrella becomes necessary. They rent them on the beach for 15USD a day. Or can be bought across the street and a 3USD cab drive at walmart for 25USD. There is also a little mall with loads of other options to check out. We brought our android box to stream a few leafs games and watch the odd tv show before bed. While the internet outside the room was not bad. Inside the room was touch and go. I did find when i went on my balcony it improved. The sports bar has lots for kids to do but the hours seemed to be very limited. Every time we went to check out the xBox room or catch a movie in the projector room they seemed “closed†even though the employee was sitting right there? We did play some airhockey and foosball though. (Also a pool table there) Either way we had a great time.

Crown Paradise Golden: Not a good holiday
The hotel staff were excellent. Hotel and rooms are dated. The two restaurants in adult section were excellent. The two outside bars, the music played was different and very loud. The entertainment music was deafeningly loud (had to leave five shows). The beach vendors were a constant irritant by bothering one every few minutes giving no time to relax. The beach was not very good
