What an excellent experience for my family. The service, entertainment, shows, attention to detail, food, pools, water park, views, drinks and anything else I haven't thought of were excellent. My family would travel there again. We had a blast and did not want to leave. Thank you Maya Riviera Hard Rock for an excellent stay.

Hotel is large with beautiful grounds and beach. Food overall was good, breakfast at Ipanema was excellent including the service. Rooms are large. Check in service/experience was horrible and ruined the first 2 days of our trip. Took over 1.5 hours to check in to find out rooms were not ready but there was 30 concierge standing around with tablets trying to sell you a Vacation Club membership. When brought to the room the door handle on shower was hanging down, toilet seat loose and the tile was broken by the sofa bed. Room was noisy and when asked to get moved the experience was horrible and took the entrie next day and a waste of time as nobody knew what we were talking about even though apparently notes were made in the system and they took our cell numbers down. It is unfortunate because this was our second stay at the hotel and even though the hotel was new the first time we went the overall experience was significantly better and a postivie experience. Unfortunatley this time we were travelling with some family that we recommended the hotel to and they were disappointed and commented on how they felt that the first interaction upon arrival left them with a negative overall experience.

cocktails and drinks overall were disappointing mostly syrups and very little quality. Buffet breakfast and dinner were disappointing, although lunch was great. Dinner a la carte at the steak house and the Zen were great the rest were average at best.

My son and daughter in law got married here, it was beautiful. Everything was so lovely and delicious. The grounds are kept clean, food was amazing, the beaches although small were spotless and lovely. Could have been a few more chairs available but we found one most days. The water park for the kids was so fun and the slides were a hit. Had a great vacation.

The room was amazing. The food was incredible. The resort itself unbelievable from the concierge to the staff. Top notch amazing experience all I have is good things to say amazing experience I’ll be back.

The food and the service for the most part was good, the Room was pretty small and very dated. We came to find out the resort will be closing for some MUCH needed renovations. As I said , the food was quite good and the service was also vert good. Entertainment was top notch, the entertainment team was everywhere and the nightly shows were pretty darn.....entertaining!

I would like to give a shout out to 3 special employees that helped us at punta can hard rock. they went out of there way to help us out. Ramone in room service and Daniella at the Bongos pool bar and Yoao the bellman. They all made our stay much better with great service and making us feel very comfortable

I’ve travelled a few times with my young kids and this resort was my favourite. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. There are so many thoughtful details in the set up and execution of everything they do that make it extra special and kid friendly. The resort feels very safe. It’s clean. The variety and quality of entertainment is great. I loved the dinner and show events. The layout makes such a large resort feel very close in how they group buildings together. Building seven was the best in my opinion for a family. Great place. Will definitely be back

The food was amazing. The dinners had so much variety, quality and fun incorporated. Service was incredible. Beach was so accessible and clean. Activities were perfect for my family. Can't wait to return.

Wrote two days before to ask about room location, preferred closer to casino. Said they would respond in 24 hours. Never did and when I asked at check-in, she said I had paid for a different type of room and it was not available. I know the same type of room is in bldg. 7 as the one we were given in 4 this time. Being so far from main lobby meant using tram service over huge property. Very frequent service in day time but slows down at night. Still, never waited longer than 10 minutes. Not a welcoming experience at check in. Bellboy service was great and helpful both coming and going. Last day, I tried bell boy phone and seemed to be broken, with message “all lines are busy”. Ended up calling front desk to arrange bell guy who arrived promptly at 10:30. If you like noise, walking, families, and constant music, you are a welcome extroverted guest. If you need peace, quiet, silence, and low stimulation, avoid at all costs. At night the main lobby mall is a cacophony of screaming guests, live performers, and wandering families. Like being at an 80s mall on Christmas Eve!!! We found the casino to be the quietest part! Bedrooms were quiet, and could not hear any outside noise with the AC on and blackout curtains pulled. Guests in hallway could be heard through door. What are you gonna do? That’s travel. Room had great AC, we never used housekeeping over 5 days, there was critter poop in corner of balcony (small, so likely a bird) up in the ceiling corner of the balcony. Friend smoked on balcony but no ashtrays provided, so used a half empty bottle of water. No smoking in rooms. Pool areas had small smoking areas. Room service was spotty, sometimes 20 minutes, sometimes an hour. We ordered room service on our last day at 9:15 and as we drove off to check out at 10:35, we saw the guy arrive with our food. Room service food was better than restaurant food. Yogurt parfait, tropical fruit, fruit juices, banana pancakes – all delicious. Air Canada rep: USELESS. Rude. I tried reaching him every day of our five-day visit for our airport pick up time, and no response. The night before departure I had concierge try to contact both rep and 24-hour service because I was panicking about departure. Last morning I got through to rep and he said, “I’m busy, call me back” and hung up. They expect to do everything on WhatsApp so if you don’t use that, you are outta luck. Finally called the guy back and his connection was terrible, cutting in and out. I told him to phone/text/email me and he just kept talking while the sound cut out. After fifteen minutes I figured out the bus was coming at 11:20. You leave the checkout at the convention area, and that is where the buses come to take you to the airport. Our bus was five minutes late but a gorgeous leather seat bus, very luxurious. Driver took us to Royalton Bavaro pick up where ACV rep on on bus and was rude to driver. Bad for ACV brand. Beach: clean beach but always a red flag, so don’t expect to float peacefully in the water. We were there first week of December so maybe water is calmer at different seasons. Lots of pools with good drink service, but constant loud music, aerobics, salsa competitions etc. Property. Kudos to gardeners who work nonstop, and the other employees delivering food, towels, supplies, etc. Employees work HARD all day (and night) long. Restaurants: ate at Zen at hibachi table, met some lovely folks, Dad and his two daughters who were an utter delight. Ate at Ciao Trattoria where the food was ok but nothing spectacular. Room service food was pretty good. Fruit plate fruit was delicious, watermelon, pineapple and melon at peak yummy. You have to order on an iPad thing and it is not always intuitive so go carefully. Also be sure to replace iPad in its holder carefully as the battery wears down if not replaced properly. Coffee spot in main lobby had delicious chicken salad sandwiches and Green Juice mixture of cucumber, mint, etc. Refreshing! Tipping: I obtained $100 in USD ones at the bank and tipped for drink service, tram service, meals, and casino drink service. $1 for drinks, $2-3 for room service, $1 per person for tram. We did not use housekeeping (they always showed up when we were still sleeping) but left a tip at the end of the trip. These folks work hard, and the pool/beach staff are doing it in the heat. Casino: Very pleasant, lots of slots, no ashtrays but you ask your server and they will bring one. Attentive drink service, drinks included if you are gambling (my friend likes wine, I like sparkling water). We both won jackpots but eventually blew the money over the next few days. No tax on jackpots like in USA, so that was nice. They examine your purse upon entry, and you cannot bring in outside drinks or food. Very clean casino. Overall, this is a hotel for families and extroverts. We are introverts who like silence so this was not ideal for us. We still had a good time, the beds were so comfortable and we slept like logs. Pros: clean and well-tended hotel, nice casino, beautiful Christmas decorations, great room layout. Hotel bracelet is your room key so that is nice, no need to worry about losing key. Cons: crowds, noise, spotty service.

We recently left a review, but I wanted to share a bit more context about our stay. The resort looked amazing on your website, but many of the features we booked never materialized. Evening activities were nearly non-existent, the all-inclusive alcohol tasted watered-down, and the timeshare presentation felt aggressive and unprofessional—it needs serious improvement if you want to close real customers. While shopping around, Victoria was particularly pushy about signing us up right away. She kept insisting the deals were changing “at any moment,” which felt like high-pressure sales tactics rather than genuine assistance. We took her information but ultimately booked on our own vacation Other than those issues, our stay was fine—rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the pool area was great. Still, the disappointments really overshadowed the rest of the experience. We spent $16,000 on this trip, so it’s not a small investment—it’s something we need to discuss as a family, and we hoped for better value and transparency. We’re sharing this feedback so future guests know what to expect, because right now it feels more like a money grab than a genuine Hard Rock vacation. Given how much we invest in these trips, we’d appreciate your consideration of a goodwill gesture if you hope to keep us as returning customers. The hotel itself was amazing. amazing rooms, incredible pools, and lots of entertainment!! Food quality, poor (often raw or near burnt) Staff extremely poor All of the extra activities were extra, not included in the so called “all inclusive” Beach was gorgeous, but red flags the entire trip (we werent able to swim a single time over the week)

Our family of 4 LOVED our stay at the Hard Rock! There was something for everyone to enjoy, we couldn’t have enough! The property and rooms were clean, food was good, the pools and beach were a delight and the entertainment was so much fun!

Entertainment was great, beach had seaweed, buffet was bland, heads up dont do presentation with hotel there like the wolfs of wall street, not worth the 100 bucks or what ever they con you with. They try to say your saving money but it cost more when you look at what flights cost. But other then that it was good.

We had a great time. There is plenty to do at this resort. The food was good, we liked the break wall at the beaches for the kids safety, multiple pool options, vibe city and the water park were great! The kids loved seeing some of the wild life around the resort. The staff were friendly. My only complaint would be the room. It was small for a family and no sitting area. There is a big Jacuzzi tub in the room which the kids tried to use one night and I'm guessing it's not used often because black stuff started coming out of the jets. We did request a higher floor level through trip central but ended up on the ground floor. We had a few nights of bad sleep with people hanging out in the hallways in the open air entry by our room. It might be a trip central thing but we also let them know we were celebrating birthdays while there one being my son but no ribbon on the door like we seen throughout the resort on other doors. The teppanyaki place was the best. My kids loved sitting at the grill and trying to catch food in their mouth. Thankfully they came around and asked if there were any celebrations so my son was surprised with a cupcake and candle. My husband loved going to the rock band experience. I did the hydrotherapy at the spa which was amazing. Overall a great vacation! We will be back to the Hard Rock

I have been to Mexico about 8 times over the past dozen years, and I keep coming back to try new resorts as it always delivers sun, good food, and charming people to meet. Unico 20 87 was a resort I would not recommend for the price we paid. The good points included the resort itself, the rooms, the beach and the music/vibe. The resort was clean and modern, very nice. The basic room was very comfortable and stylish; looking at the swim outs below, I wish I had chosen one of them for that feature. The music was upbeat and modern, a change from most other resorts. It gave the resort a youthful, but sophisticated vibe. And the pool area was a lot of fun, with live DJ on most days. The beach was one of the nicest I've been to in the riviera, clean and very swimmable. Some areas near cancun have waves that make it difficult to swim out in. The cons included the food not being consistently good, the watery drinks, and the staff morale. The food was hit or miss; I had some delicious meals; I had some I didn't want to finish. Examples included a hockey puck for a tuna steak, beef tacos full of fat and no real meat, and soggy nachos. The drinks served at the pool and beach are undoubtedly watered down; I spoke with quite a few other people and they agreed. There was no real flavour, even the juices felt watered down. And if you asked for a double shot, you still had zero taste of the alcohol. I ended up switching to beer, which was warm by the time you got it on the beach. I love going to mexico because I find the workers lively and friendly, even though this is hard work in hot weather for them. But almost every single staff member at Unico looked sad, rushed..... Literally, everyone but maybe 3 of them I met. Other resort-goers that I spoke to agreed, and even the staff on the bus that picked us up noticed it. They just look ... Depressed. I've never seen anything like it. I know it's hard work and long hours, but I've not seen unhappiness to this degree. The above negative points make me wonder what the company is doing top-down, to make the staff unhappy? The resort LOOKS beautiful, but these things make me wonder if it's cost-saving corner cutting going on behind the scenes. For these reasons, I would not recommend this hotel at the price we paid. We've gone to Haven Riviera Cancun and I would 1000% recommend that resort in lieu; the only thing Haven is missing is the modern vibe and fun pool that Unico has. It was the most expensive 1 weeker for us to-date, and we've had better experiences elsewhere.

This was a very well maintained and beautiful resort. Rooms were great, pools were fabulous. There was a few negatives. First, you had to pay for drinks at the casino. You had to walk so far for certain things....they did have a shuttle though. Limited menu for room service. Snorkeling excursion was 4 hrs and only did 10 minutes of Snorkeling. Did not have empathy for kids with special needs. Other then that it was great. Would not go there again though.

Unico is a small, elegant and authentic resort in the Mayan Riviera. The food is delicious and is based on local ingredients and Mexican cuisine -there is something for everyone on the menu. They take allergies and food sensitivities very seriously. The master mixologist Luis has created all of the unique cocktails and mocktails for each restaurant. He offers classes in mixology and these are well worth attending. The hotel staff are friendly, professional and work very very hard to give you the best experience. From the pre-arrival concierge, to the local host, the restaurant hostesses, the housekeepers-they all go above and beyond to meet all of your wants and needs. This is an adults only resort but I would say the clientele is mostly young professionals, there was no raucous partying or bad behaviour. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for an authentic and original experience.

Although I am 80 years old, I enjoyed every aspect of the Hard Rock Hotel. I danced along with the younger ones, sang to all the songs that were played. All of the employees we dealt with seemed joyful, and very friendly and willing to help. There were activities and choices of food for everyone. Our only complaint was that on the pathways from the beach area (where our room was) to the main building are not well enough lit at night. it can be quite dangerous just trying to find your way. i would recommend adding more lighting at ground level to avoid accidents. Other than that, everything gave my daughter and I a very enjoyable, restful, fun-filled and well-needed break from the cold and the realties of daily living.

This was our first time to Mexico. This resort exceeded our expectations. First the food was outstanding, every single meal was 5 star. The drinks were premium and service top notch. Staff were very professional. Rooms were spacious and the overall vibe felt comfortable and chill. Black bottom pools were gorgeous and beautiful beach.

Grounds and service was great. Beds and rooms were smaller than other all inclusive resorts we have been to. Rooms were not cleaned properly which is a shame as the shower had mold in the grout of the tile but when build was beautiful.

Pros: lots of activities for kids and adults, water park, kids club, kids pool, lots of food and drink options (Zen - Teppanyaki, Toro - Steakhouse, Stacked - burgers, The Split - subs were all great), beach was beautiful and lots of different pools to choose from depending on what vibe you’re interested in, nice, comfortable accommodations (we had a 1 bedroom suite in building 5B), room service is a plus Cons: the lobby area is really loud with music in each different bar/store turned up to full volume and everyone trying to talk over it, the beach is beautiful but the resort faces the Atlantic Ocean so it was really rough. The red flag was out 6 of the 7 days. We didn’t like the hard sell for the “VIP breakfast” after check-in. This is basically them trying to sell you a timeshare. Same thing happened at check out where they were offering a “coupon” for a discounted future stay but they try to pressure you into making a decision 20 minutes before you’re leaving the resort to go home. The minibar is supposed to be restocked each day but we called 4 times, they only came twice. The resort is HUGE so there is lots of walking or waiting for shuttles (the shuttles worked well for us). Food at Ipanema was cold and not very good - that’s the only restaurant I wouldn’t recommend. Watch out for the people on the beach with animals (monkey, parrots, iguana) offering to take pictures. They put the animals on you before saying how much they expect to be paid and then pressure you to pay $120 USD by cash, venmo or PayPal. Overall we really enjoyed our vacation at the Hard Rock Punta Cana!

We were extremely happy with our stay at the Hard Rock, it was clean, all of the staff were attentive, extremely friendly and accommodating. Shout out to the waiter, Rafa, who always had a smile, and Cheyanne for the best omelettes. The food was great, as well the entertainment ! Our only complaint was the time share people who are over the top pushy for the first couple of days and again on checkout. Otherwise an amazing week, we would come back again!

One of the best all inclusive I have been to. Older resort but the Hard Rock delivered in service, cleanliness, and amenities and the room was perfect and house keeping were detailed and timely. The staff were ALL amazing and couldn't do enough for you, the food fantastic and no having to pre book, loved that! The grounds are all kept very well and the beach was amazing. Fantastic nightly entertainment. Highly recommend Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta

The property was immaculate and staff very friendly and helpful. We did find our checkout was not as good as the rest of our time. Out of our room at noon then at 3 pm stripped of our use of previous complimentary items such as food and drink or even to sit by pool! Our transport time was 5:40 so we had to spend a couple of hours in the lobby. This was not a nice ending to what had been a very enjoyable trip. I would still recommend this resort to friends and family but would love to hear that the checkout has been improved.

This was our first time staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. They have something for everyone. In the hotel, they have Escape Rooms, a Bowling Alley, an Arcade, a VR room, Lazor Tag and mini Golf. They have an ice cream parlor! The grounds and pools are beautiful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was incredible. Very spacious and clean. The bathroom was almost as big as the rest of the suite. I am sure you could have fit 5 or 6 people in the shower room alone. The food was always very good with lots of options. Sadly, the Lazy River was closed for renovations when we got there, but we had fun playing in the Ocean. Overall, had a wonderful week and would definitely recommend it. Thanks to all the staff for your hard work.

we had an incredible experience at the punta cana hard rock hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The fruit was tasty and delicious! We would definitely go back!

The grounds were gorgeous. Everyone who worked there was friendly and happy. We loved the beach and the choice of pools. The whirlpool on the balcony was an added bonus (except that we had to wear bathing suits.) Great choice of restaurants with lovely selection of salads, fruit, and main courses. My only complaint was that it was so dark at night, that it was hard to see and find our way back.....a little more lighting would be useful.

The resort property was nice however there were things that were bothersome. All though we purchased an all-inclusive package, they nickel and dime you for everything. Bowling, mini golf, bike path, etc. all cost extra. Even buying suntan lotion was $50 USD which is astronomical. We didn't find the rooms overly clean and the majority of the staff were so-so. No hello's when passing in the hallway or how are you, just nothing. The staff at the pools were friendly however we were tipping them the whole time. We weren't overly impressed at all with this resort.

Amazing that's all there is to say. Come join in the atmosphere this resort has too offer. Remember you may stay afew days or maybe a week you leave there only wanting to stay longer! The service is impeccable the vibe is great. And did I mention pizza! All day who does this

I would seriously go back to this resort, very beautiful, and well maintained, the grounds,pools, and the whole atmosphere was amazing, the coffee shop is a must, the staff ladies are so nice,and go the mile to please you. The Zen is one if the best, food is delicious, #1 service, The Market, wasn't the greatest, for a buffet, there ain't alot of options at all, when they say American food, there ain't alot, should be more options like,potatoes, fries,pizza and salad bar,and every buffet should have meat, The Brazilian is a must ,you want meat, ohhhh ,so much of that there and the service is totally wow....I would return to this resort in the future....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - such a great resort. The selection of pools was wonderful - something for every mood. The rooms were comfortable. The staff and servers were so friendly - fast and attentive. By the end of our stay, we felt like we'd made so many new friends. So many amenities to take in - always something going on. Such great selection of restaurants - no shortage of great eating. We will definitely return again.

We 2 couples stayed at the Hard Rock Punta Cana from December 14-21. Shuttle service from the airport was the best we’ve had. We were quickly taken to the resort. Check in was also quick. We were in different buildings when we got there but were quickly moved to the same one so we could be close to each other. I had asked for renovated rooms which we did not get but we had amazing clean rooms none the less. We weren’t in it much so it didn’t bother me. The beach did have quite a bit of seaweed but again didn’t bother us. We quickly found the adults only Eden pool which we stayed at for the week. It was clean and the staff were friendly and very quick bringing us drinks. They made our week. We are at Toro(steak house) twice. Excellent food and service and would highly recommend. Impanema and Italian were the other choices for the week as well as the buffet. All were excellent and service was impeccable. We never waited but we ate around 6 pm always. Moon lounge, ice cream shop and cafe were also places we frequented daily and again always friendly staff and quick. Shuttle service was frequent and got us where we wanted to go on time. Entertainment staff were high energy. We did the water aerobics daily. Shoutout to Sexy Evelyn, Alexandre for getting us moving. They work extremely hard. The only complaint I have is the push to become members. This was annoying and if I didn’t know better could have easily ruined our week but they still bugged us daily anywhere we went and upon check in and check out. Will definitely return soon

I seeked out an agent to assist with my lass minute booking, I had specifically expressed to the agent that based on my past experience with booking 5 star- I found that it included an older crowd which I did not want. The above mentioned agent said because this is Cancún- people travel all around the world and this won’t be the case, she said people come here to party and 5 star hotel for Cancun consisted of all ages. I felt mislead and felt that I was not advised accordingly and therefore I booked a resort that made me feel very unsatisfied.In addition I asked the above agent if this Hard Rock hotel played only “hard rock” music, the agent replied no, they play a mix. Yet another massive complaint I had about this resort. I arrived to resort to find very elderly people and hard rock music almost 24h/d. My whole vacation was ruined, I was so upset that I will never book 5 star and never go to Cancun ever again. I spent so much money for below average food, terrible music and alcohol and paid such a hefty high price to mingle with geriatric populations. I will never book though an agent

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Every detail was taken care of. The service was prompt and excellent. My son enjoyed the kids club. The beach and many pools were spectacular. We enjoyed the Asian restaurant Zen, Ciao the Italian restaurant, and Toro the steakhouse most of all. The breakfasts we had were lovely from the market and many lunch/snacks experiences throughout the resort. It is a large resort but the trolley system was helpful. Only con was the beach was red flag all week so it was hard for young kids to enjoy.

The resort is very large. I called it a small city. It is definitely geared for families. The staff was exceptional. Wonderful with the kids. The beach was amazing. With lots of chairs. Everything was very clean.

We were 6 of us and we had the family room deluxe , food was excellent entertainment was amazing and the overall holiday was awesome We made memories we will keep forever We did not do any of the water activities but would definitely want to try next time

Recently came back spending our Christmas holidays at the Hard Rock with my 4 teenage children. We had a great time enjoyed the beach,pool areas, food, shops and activities. All the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Covid protocols were in place and testing was easily done at the hotel for an extra fee.

The resort was great! Was at full capacity at holiday time. It was busy, staff all were safe and followed mask protocols. Place was clean and well staffed. Tough at times to make reservations for shows and dinners, they were generally full by the time we wanted to book. Service was great everywhere!

Was one of if not the BEST all around resorts we ever been too. One downside is you CANNOT go in the ocean at all. All Restaurants were spectacular and the service of EVERY employee was the best we have ever seen.

Les chambres sont super et l’ambiance est top ;) de la musique partout. Des bon groupe de musique live tout les soirs. Le moon bar beaucoup d’ambiance et merci au service des serveurs qui ont vraiment les clients a coeur qui nous a trouvé du greygoose a tout les soirs ;)

IF YOU get bored here its not hard rocks fault! lol...the restaurants were all amazing and we loved the pizza especially ,loved how all the pools play different levels of music and don't forget to sample lunch at each of them.. all have different options! we were in building 7a and found it a great location..close to beach and restaurants and steak house ..which also served breakfast..they all have same breakfasts we found but the ones down by beach seemed quiter to get into with no lineups , but the main buffet at main lobby was always lined up...and the beach behind the kids pool always had umbrellas etc available and had a bar right there! the waves were big but so much fun..under towers strong tho..saw a few people that needed to be helped by the very diligent life guards so don't go in to far ! we found the staff truly lovely and very easy to communicate with ..they were all so happy..honestly happy..singing away and always trying to do what ever they could to make your stay great..and we didn't feel pressured to tip to get good service [ even tho we did as we know what a big difference it truly makes for their lives and how hard they work ]..loved the over all experience and had a ton of fun! we probably wouldn't go back as a couple but will defiantly go back with a group and family!

The hotel was extremely clean, easy to get to get around with the use of the little trains that were constantly available. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our family will definitely come back next year to the Hard Rock!

Great hotel. Clean and excellent service throughout great selection of restaurants with excellent food. I cannot recall any other resorts that took care of us like Hard Rock. From picking us up at airport till the very end. First class Bravo!!!!

We stayed at the hard rock Los Cabot for 10 days during new years. Good and bad thing about this resort. Good- the people... amazing! Rios at the front door was our favorite and go to person! Always made sure we were okay and always came over to say hi when we were passing by. Luna at the pool is an amazing sweet girl, always was there to make our baby laugh, she was so good! Lolonsky in the buffet was so friendly, always came and said hi even when he wasn't serving us! Theresa at the front desk made our check in quick and easy. Food - was so so, for the amount you pay to stay at hard rock the food should be a little better than what it was, however still pretty good. Cons- the pools are absolutely freezing!!! We went in the hot tub (which was semi warm) 2 out of our 10 days... the pools are so cold it was impossible to take our 10 month old in them. When your going to an all inclusive you are expecting to be in the pools most of the day - this was not the case here... We booked with the photographers for family photos. Booked 5 days in advance. We were told to meet them by the pizzeria at 930 am...by 10 am no one had shown up, we went to the photography desk and asked the guy there why no one showed up and he said "no one told me" .... We then had to reschedule for the following day (annoying to say the least as we had got up and ready and planned it all around baby's nap times)

Amazing in every way! Amazing, courteous and helpful staff. Amenities and restaurants are top notch! Even though gratuities are included you will surely want to tip your servers due to the top notch service. Not too big a resort and lots to do.

The service and view at this resort was impeccable. The food was kind of bland. Best restaurant is Zen in my opinion. The market buffet was not my favorite however my fiance enjoyed the breakfast when we woke up in time for the 11:30 finish. Alot of people i spoke with liked Ipanema however I wasn't a big fan. Felt safe and welcoming. This is my opinion however I have not travelled previous to this occasion in just over 10 years so dont really have much to base this against.

Service- The best we have had yet! Principe, Roger, Lorenzo were fantastic and treated us like royalty and had our cabana and everything we needed each day without asking! Just all around impressed with the staff on this resort! The spa massage and hair was also fantastic and well priced very well done with staff! Rooms- They are definately older but they are well maintained and the beds are comfortable with very fast room service and quite honestly one of the better menus we have had on any resort yet! Wide variety of food too for an all inclusive resort! Entertainment and atmosphere- This place is also 100% for entertainment at the pool they have all sorts of fun activities like trivia and drinking competitions which I did not experience personally but it is loud enough you can hear the great variety of awesome music on the beach as well! If you like to party the daytime entertainment is at the pool and if you like to relax and be quiet the beach is perfect and if you have kids and family it is great for that too! We dont drink but we love the fun environment!! The nighttime entertainment is average it isnt cirque de soleil they provide what they can so take it or leave it it wasnt why we went there it is just an extra if you enjoy that stuff anyway Food- This was not the highlight however with the excellent service that was provided it made up for the lack of taste in the food.. that being said the food was very americanized so it was always edible unlike some of the places we have visited in the past the fries and burgers, pizza, pasta etc... was just like eating at a regular canadian or american chain. This isnt a place to to if you expect fine dining experiences you will not get that here you get average food and fun in the sun all day with amazing service great drinks and we drank all virgin drinks and we didnt have to specify anything they were the most creative with making refreshing drinks all day for us! Well done Beach- Not much to say here..... soft white sand and crystal clear blue green bathtub warm water with fun waves to play in! Life cant get any better or beautiful this is our favorite beach!! Overall I give this hotel a 5 star because the price is awesome for the quality of service you get and the views from the rooms on the pool side are all ocean and pool views which was perfect for us! The few things we werent crazy about were easily looked past because we consider the price we paid and to us the room views combined with the service and average food that was most certainly edible by all means and the daytime energetic and upbeat environment was exactly what we were looking for and they executed! Thank you hard rock hotel we will be back!

Fantastic for family! The resort is gorgeous and very clean. The food is outstanding, I felt sorry for the room-service personnel as my teens abused the 24 hour delivery quite a lot. We have a few food allergies, they printed cards to present at restaurant and made the process easy for us. The service is fantastic I wish I could remember all there names. The staff at Frida, Le Petit Couchon, and Woodward were exceptional... and Mr. Boy by the pool and zipline.

We just returned from a 7 day vacation at this hotel. Oct 29 - Nov 5. I really loved the property and the location. Rooms and resort was VERY clean. Music playing in lobby and around resort was really good! Just wished there was a "quieter" pool for guest to sit at and read a book with music that isn't so loud. The food and drinks overall were excellent. The staff were all very friendly which was really good to see. A few special employees that went out of their way to make our vacation better; 1)Miguel in the sun bar - just friendly and a good bartender. Always a smile and willing to help! 2)Luis (I think is his name) in the Zen restaurant. He was working the sushi kitchen in front and he brought us some "special" off the menu items. THEY WERE AMAZING!! HE needs to get those ideas on the menu!! 3) Magic Dee around the pool was friendly asking how the day was going, he came and cleaned my sunglasses too! We had good conversation with him! The turtles are hatching like crazy right now so right in front of the hotel you could watch this amazing birth!!! The elevators a FAST and efficient! The entertainment staff always had fun things going on during the day at the pool. The front bell staff getting luggage out of the taxis and assisting you with getting a taxi were all friendly and efficient. The only small thing I was irritated about was that other guests were ``member's`` We had no idea what this was about or how to get this membership. Many guests explained that they were able to enjoy the resort for $1200 a couple. We had paid $4000 a couple and were unsure as to why and how there could be such a difference. In addition, when I booked with Trip Central I choose a higher category room but felt the room was plain (clean) and we had 2 queen beds that they pushed together........ we were unable to understand the upgrade and cost to value on this resort. The room was amazing, the food and the drinks of the resort was top notch. One of the best foods I ever had . Family oriented resort.They have one big pool across the resort. The beach bar is amazing get drinks while you lie in the sun. Premium liquor as well (black label).

Very nice place. Not to big and the service was outstanding. We liked the day beds. Food was pretty good too. Beach was clean. The rooms were a little small but we were on the eighth floor and had a good view.

Fabulous resort with something for everyone. Great food and service, amazing beach, 13 pools, lots to do. Thanks Nicolle Kirk for the great suggestion for this resort, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend it for anyone with families.

3 of us stated in the room, we thought the spa bath was an inconvenience as it just occupied space and we never used it.\ the toilet was too small night shows could be outside in the large paved area more activities needed

The hotel was amazing, staff well trained, cleanliness excellent, food the best, beach was really nice and a fantastic bonus! Grounds were of a high standard, could have let people know that lunch boxes are available if you are touring. You should include a salad with a better quality sandwich....more gourmet on take away boxes would be welcome! Overall really fantastic! I will be back for sure!

The grounds were very clean and well taken care of. The entertainment from hard rock was not very good. We found ourselves bored on more than one occasion. For the price I would try my hardest not to come back here.

This resort is amazing, the service and food are outstanding. So many fun things for the kids and adults to do. They really know how to put on a party and the evening shows were great! Can't say enough great things about this place! Would highly recommend! This will be on my list to go back again for sure!

Everything about the hardrock was superb, it surpassed our expectations!! The hotel is beautiful, with spacious rooms, the casino was a very thrilling experience and the many staff members attended to our every need,we wanted for nothing because of their service and personal attention, the food was excellent in the many restaurants on the property, my wife and I would like to give a big shout out to Laura who works in the casino and made extra sure we received anything we requested, thanks Laura!!! We would also like to thank rhuddy, who works in the market buffet restaurant, she was very attentive to us while we dined there, these 2 young ladies deserve a ton of thanks for looking after us!!! We also thoroughly enjoyed the slingshot tour that is exclusive to the hardrock hotel, what a thrill it was !!. The pools were awesome, beautiful bars and clubs, there was food everywhere as well. We cannot wait to book another trip back.

We visited the H are Rock Punta Cana during March Break, we had a great time, gorgeous beach, great service and food. Place is huge and has lots to offer. Only downside was that it was US spring break but we kept our distance from the drunken teens. It would be exceptional during another time!

Grounds are huge, could not make it to Isle restaurant from where I was staying. Really have to plan ahead. Should make sure first day if Jacuzzi works properly. Make sure that room key is on you at all time.

Hands down the most beautiful resort we’ve ever been to. Clean, staff were so pleasent, food was incredible, beach was a two minute walk and multiple pools some quiet and relaxed and some were non stop parties. This was all inclusive to the nines. Will be hard to top this resort. We will definitely be back.

Food options are excellent in a la carte restaurants and buffet alike, good activities for kids - kayaking, basketball, volleyball, soccer. Beautiful grounds, nice beach with manmade reef to break waves and control undertow.

We had a great trip in March 2019! We travelled with our kids and we had more than enough options of things to do at the resort!! Food was great, room was spacious and clean. Service was good, pools were clean! Awesome cafe, ice cream shop and great kids area for the kids! We would definitely go back to this resort!

Food was at best 3.5 stars Room was 3.5 stars, double beds, really? Paper thin walls... Beach was awesome, but why so few chairs and shaded areas for a huge beach? A lot of wasted space GOOD SERVICE

The hotel once again lived up to our expectations. There was plenty of food choices and the quality was good and the service was good . We will be going back again for our 4th trip. The pool service was a little slow and could do with improvement

Staff is fantastic. From bellmen to servers to front desk, the employees went out of their way to insure our stay was fantastic. Resort was exceptionally well maintained. Dining options were many and all excellent. Entertainment options throughout the day. Also plenty of quiet areas if you just wanted relaxation. A great value and will absolutely visit again. A+++

My wife and I recently return from the Hard Rock in the Riviera Maya. As a paraplegic who relies on a wheelchair for mobility this resort proved to have its challenges. The majority of the restaurants on both sides (Hacienda and Heaven's) had multilevel dinning areas that were not accessible, of the most frustrating one was the Toro steak house. To access the host in order to confirm your reservation and be seated you had to enter the main doors however the only accessible seating area was down below and therefore you needed to back outside down a ramp and enter through another set of doors to gain access to that level. The restaurants that did have ramps were very short and steep. The lobby bar on the Heaven's side was not accessible...2 steps would could have easily been ramped. The accessibly of the gifts shops on both sides were hit and miss, some were and others were not. My biggest peeve was the fact that there were no accessible washrooms pool side. On the Hacienda side I needed to go into the main building which had a maze of 5 ramps to access. On the Heavens side fortunately our room was not too far. On the other hand...the resort was beautiful and impeccably maintained. The staff were very kind, friendly helpful and always looking to assist in any way. Our room was spacious and always cleaned promptly. The food was amazing...the pizza bar became its own daily food group. All in all we managed well and had a great stay. I've been travelling long enough to know that accessibly means different things to different people, especially when travelling abroad and you take what you get and make it work.

Unfortunately there were quite a few negatives to my 2nd visit to this resort. The first time I loved it and would highly recommend it but when we went back this year we found that they implemented a bunch of changes that took away a lot of the things I liked about it. Last time we didn’t need reservations for the restaurants. This time they had restaurants closed and the others said we would only get in if someone canceled or didn’t show up even though the resort was only half full. The pool used to be heated but now it’s not. Annie at the reception desk was condescending, rude and unhelpful. Don’t expect to get any requests you make at time of booking. The temperature in our room never got higher than 18.5 Celsius and when we mentioned it to the staff, someone came and just set the temperature setting to the max of 32 degrees but even with that, it didn’t go past 18.5. They also got rid of the antipasto bar in the Italien restaurant. Although there were negatives, I have to give a shout out to: Gabby in the breakfast buffet, Betty the server by the pool and Alejandro the server in the Mexican & Italien restaurants. Their service was top notch and I couldn’t ask for better. It’s unfortunate that management seems to have put customer service as a lower priority than cutting costs. If you asked me last year I would have said I planned on going to this resort every year but it looks like I now have to find a new resort.

Not a fan of them not heating the pool, not a fan of now requiring reservations, not a fan of rotating closing restaurants, not a fan of the lack of anti pasta bar no longer being in the Italian restaurant. Too many changes from last year for us to go back a 4th time. Staff we dealt with was great but our friends experience wasn’t the same at check in as ours

We had a great time at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana. Great resort for kids. Food was fantastic and there were many places to choose from. Would definitely recommend this resort. It is very large so lots of walking but there are also trains that go around the resort very regularily if you don’t like to walk! Loved our vacation.

The Hard Rock hotel was great. Although it was a bit outdated, it was well maintained to be clean and service was great pretty much everywhere from bars to restaurants. There were variety of entertainment everyday during my stay but the highlight was a live rock concert for me as a hard rock fan myself!

Once again Hard Rock in the Mayan exceeded our expectations. Resort is very clean. Service is 10/10. Kids always enjoy the Woodward!!! The entertainment staff keep you and the kids engaged. We typically have a hard time with the food, although at Hard Rock food is excellent!

This is one Massive rexort. There are golf carts that come very often to take you where you wNt to go. Grounds are beautiful and surrounded by either fountains, pools or ocean. Many different and unique pools to choose from whether you want loud music party vibe or quiet relaxation. Beach is nice but lots of seaweed on shore. They try hard to clean it. Beach was mostly red flagged due to waves and undertow however we did get a couple days out of the week battling the waves. Rooms are very large and have a big jacuzzi tub in the middle. Nice feature. Balcony also good size. Buffet was mediocre but always found something to eat. Great a la Carter restaurants however my favourites were the Toro steakhouse and Impanema Brazilian. Make sure you reserve restaurants as soon as you arrive. Service was fantastic. Never waited for drinks and dinner served quickly. The staff there speak great English. We did not encounter a language barrier at this resort once. Take advantage of resort credits for excursions. It saves you a ton of money. Also know that there are some things not included in the all inclusive which I was disappointed about. Mini golf for one. You can use resort credits however it will still cost you $6/person. Virtual reality shop by lobby. Fun but also cost you $10 a pop for 10 minutes. Escape room at $36to $48 per person. This stuff really should be included as part of the all inclusive price. Don’t be fooled by resort credit store. At the end their prices are exactly the same as the larger souvenir store across the hall. You aren’t saving anything. Casino amazing and pretty loose in paying out money. We won quite a bit. Servers also amazing in casino. You will never wait for drinks. Overall this resort was one of my favourites and will definitely teturn

Hard Rock makes you feel like Royalty! We just got back from a week stay and I must say - I can’t wait to go back. Everything was perfect! Pools, beach, food, entertainment. Special thanks to Donis, Willy, Luna, Batman, Marco and Raul! This is definitely not a goodbye - more like a see ya later!

Very friendly staff. Very Good Service. The First Hotel, where they provide Room Service without any additional charge. We went there to attend a Destination Wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Had a fantastic time! Great place. The whole family had a fantastic time. My only issue was they booked my 12yr old and I into a King bed room and right by the Adults only side (4) and away from the rest of our family (all were in 9). At first I was told they couldn't change it but then I persisted and they moved us to at least two beds instead of 1.

Clean, organized, good food and excellent service. Rooms and bathroom was clean and spacious. Great staff throughout the resort, restaurants, pool and excursions. If you love walks on the beach and playing in the waves, this resort is NOT for you. The beach was the only disappointment, however we stayed by the pool, which was great. I’d say it’s a must visit resort in Riviera Maya!

It was just okay this year. We are a family that has returned to Dominican every year for 10 years. Last year we decided to go to Hard Rock and we were blown away on how great it was. That being said when you return to the same resort you usually get a few added perks in our experience for example last time we returned after the last year at another resort we got the same rooms as the prior year. In this situation we actually got absolutely nothing for returning to our surprise. We had two groups and they put us in rooms in section 1 and 7 and this was 10 min away from each other. Now after that to be honest the resort is amazing. The food is great but they now require reservations for a few but it just requires some planning. The service you get from the pool side is great. We will return again but will be a little more careful around room bookings.

Hard Rock did not let us down. Everything from food and drinks was amazing!!! only thing i would change would be that there was no real beach. Otherwise fantastic service and amenities. Amazing family vacation.

From start to finish the whole week we spent at hard rock was absolutely amazing. Food was spectacular, pools were clean we never had a problem finding a towel or someone to get us a drink. We enjoyed the daily activities that were throughout the resort. Kids club provided tons of fun for our eight-year-old. Rooms are nice clean and have everything you need. Employees here absolutely legendary they go out of their way to make your stay absolutely amazing. Do the excursions they are totally worth it. The Rock Spa is absolute heaven. Golf is also great ! Already planning a trip to go back see you soon hard rock!!!!

I thought its a great resort for all the amenities offered in the price. However I thought it was not fair for me to have to pay for spa services that I booked but could not attend due to falling sick. Even after complaining to Front Desk and the Spa itself, they did nothing to rectify the situation and forced me to pay for those services even though i called in advance to try and cancel my reservation.

Overall we loved the resort. Rooms were clean but small, but bathrooms large! Grounds were beautiful and the food and service was great. I loved how you did not have to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants and you could go as many times as you please. The pool on the Hacienda side was always fun, especially for kids, always things to do. The beach was beautiful but small and we did have quite a bit of seaweed the week we were there (March 6-13). My favourite part of resort was that you were able to dine outside while watching the beautiful waves of the ocean. I loved the Hard Rock chain and will definitely try another one again!

We have been to several all-inclusive resorts over the years and the Hard Rock stacks up against them all. The resort was very clean and easy to get around. We are a family of four and stayed on the family side. All in all the food was great and the service was second to none. I would go back!

This resort was great. Beautiful rooms, beautiful pools, gorgeous beach. However, the year before my boyfriend and i went to the moon palace resort in mexico and was blown away! We heard the hard rock resorts were similar so we booked with high expecations. There was nothing wrong with the hard rock but in comparison to Moon palace, it was always a close second in all areas. ( except beach) The food was good but not incredible like moon palace. The rooms were beautiful but need a face lift. the jacuzzi is clearly old and there is a very distinctive smell that was brought home with me. the resort is fairly big and rooms are far from the beach. The moon palace delivered chocolates to your room every night at 6pm and HR does not. - small thing but something i just loved from MP The staff is nice but not as friendly as moon palace. The pools were great but always very very busy. We had more room at MP The main difference and disappointment with HR compared to MP was the darkness of the resort. I suppose it's a "rock and roll thing" but the moon palace had such beautiful brightness with all the marble and open bright rooms- the main lobby bar is grogeous at MP and the hard rock- was again...fine but dark. so overall it was great and if i hadn't traveled to the moon palace first, i probably would have been blown away. i will say however, the beach is 10 times better than in MP mexico. we also got sucked into buying timeshares on our first day there- so we have our next 10 our with hard rock. not the end of the world, but i for sure have buyers remorse.

Nicest resort around that region, on either side none of them were near as nice. Many parts to the resort were unlike any place I had seen before, i.e. hard liquor bottles in every room, nice mix of music by the pool, speakers and a DJ all day long at the pool

We spent a week over Valentine's Day and have nothing but good things to say, from the super friendly staff, great food selection, cleanliness of rooms and meticulously maintained grounds. We will definitely be back.

We came here for our honeymoon and had the best vacation experience ever. As a vegetarian I was surprised to find so many delicious options (including wood burning oven pizza and Lebanese food). The environment is awesome - a good mix between party and relaxing. If you care about premium liquor, you can do rock royalty as the pool has top shelf. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is so friendly, and we are in major vacation withdrawal. I have no complaints and recommend ten times over. Only thing that was a negative was the timeshare presentation that they try to frame as not being a timeshare - do the math, you can get the same prices by booking a vacation package on your own. You do get the taxes reduced on your excursions if you attend so maybe have a drink in hand and have some fun with it.

The Hard Rock has it all. Beautiful rooms (loved the jet tub, private patio, and comfortable bed), lots of restaurant choices for whatever you're in the mood for, great pools, and wonderful staff too!

This resort is very large. Service and staff were very responsive. Food is good but lacking in salads and vegetables. If you a meat eater than you will really enjoy the food. Very nice amenities. The gym is great. The spa is also very nice. If you are going to do an excursion do one on the catribbean side as the water is clam and beautiful. My only issue is the chairs by the pool. I ga e one of the staff a nice tip to reserve chairs for me so I would not have to race down every morning to reserve a chair.

We have been to Punta Cana four times to different resorts and this was by far THE BEST experience we've had. We were at the Hard Rock from December 15 - 22nd. I was a bit apprehensive on going at first, as I was under the impression that it was more of a "party resort" (we were concerned as we were travelling with two kids ages 9 and 11). I was wrong with that impression, it was such a nice, family oriented resort (maybe we were on the family side?). I had previously seen reviews from people that everything was so far to walk to, but that wasn't the case with us at all. We were conveniently placed in block 7A which was close to the kids pool and the beach. Walking back to the lobby was no more than 7 minutes. We had no issues at all. The service from the staff was spectacular - nothing I had ever seen down South. We'd ask for room service, and, upon delivery, we'd receive a call from reception asking us about our experience. We were given 3600 resort credits to use on activities, spa, bali beds, and other amenities. I used some of my credits for the spa and it was a spectacular experience. We also rented out the bali beds for a few days which was REALLY nice - our attendant "Dariana" was fantastic and treated us so well on those days. All in all, I truly felt like a rockstar - top service amenities, the resort was beautiful and clean, great restaurants, the kids had a lot of fun (and so did the grown-ups!). True, the all inclusive is a bit more expensive than the other hotels in Punta Cana with the same rating, but the experience we had was far superior, the best we'd ever had! I can't wait to go again next year!

Service was excellent and rooms and grounds were very clean - bathroom is very very small. Beds were awesome. Best part of the trip. Food was just okay, not great. Not enough selection as this is a very very small resort. You have to pay for lobster and not enough seafood on the menu. Water was not what I expected - very sandy Beach was soft and sandy - very nice Pools were small Booze was very good but you can get Corona in your room but not at the bar which makes no sense Nighlight is very boring and so is the daytime. No real activities to write about. Did not go to the shows at night as they are the same in all resorts. Michael Jackson, circus, fire shows. All the same boring stuff. Best part was people that we met and laughed with. Will not go back to this resort. It's just barely a 4star and we travel A LOT. Nicole Doucet

Just returned from 7 fantastic days at HRPC. My husband and I have visited many all inclusives but Hard Rock excels in all areas. We were a family group of 7 ranging in age from 2 to 63. The grounds, accommodations, activities, food and especially the staff are absolutely the best. We experienced excellent customer service and even the kids were treated like royalty. Highly recommend HRPC for families.

The Hard Rock Punta Cana resort is incredible. I stayed with my husband, parents, sister, niece (2) and nephew (5). The resort has the most amazing beach front, pools, kids area, restaurants and rooms. We traveled with three generations and there's something to do for everyone. The service was friendly and helpful (plus 24 hr room service!) and the staff was great with the kids. It will be hard to stay at any other resort in Punta Cana after staying here.

2 days without hot water and the staff and management could care less and only offered an alternate room after hours of complaining. The staff didn't know how to navigate the resort. The resort is looking rather dated and could use with a major face lift.

This was our first time at this Hotel and loved it!!! We are a family with small children and it was perfect for them. We had a two bedroom suite with a personal assistant and he was amazing. He help us plan our vacation and was available at any time for us. We will definitely go back again :)

This resort was very good. I enjoyed my stay and would have like it to be longer. The rooms were very clean and the staff responded very quickly to assist with any issues. The food was excellent and plentiful. The pools were very large and clean. The beach area was pretty small but was very safe because of a barrier wall that kept the waves at bay. All the employees of this resort were excellent.
