We recently stayed at Breathless Cancun Soul Resort & Spa from April 28 to May 5. Overall, I would describe the experience as mixed. There were definitely positives, but also several issues that significantly impacted the trip. The resort itself has a great location, clean, modern design, good energy, and many staff members genuinely tried to be helpful. We had previously stayed at another Breathless property and had a very positive experience, which is why we booked this trip with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, one of the biggest negatives was the Unlimited Vacation Club presentation experience. What was initially presented as a 90-minute breakfast presentation ultimately became a multi-day process involving more than 10 hours of meetings, discussions, contract review, cancellation research, and follow-up conversations with managers attempting to retain the sale after cancellation. The amount of vacation time consumed by this process was far beyond what we expected and became a significant source of stress during the trip. Another issue was that during the final two days of our stay there was active construction taking place directly outside our room in the hallway, including persistent drilling noise until approximately 4 PM daily. We were never informed in advance that construction would be occurring during our stay. While we understand maintenance and upgrades happen, some advance communication would have been appreciated, especially at a premium adults-only resort. The most concerning issue involved gluten-free dining consistency. My wife has celiac disease, and we repeatedly communicated this throughout the stay. Staff did attempt to help, however the handling and understanding of gluten-free options appeared inconsistent across restaurants. For example, on our first night at Spumante, my wife ordered the Fungi Risotto which was marked gluten free. Two nights later at Fish Nets, she ordered another risotto dish also marked gluten free, only to later be told the risotto was actually not gluten free. At that point, it became clear that she had likely already been exposed to gluten earlier in the trip, as she had been experiencing symptoms consistent with gluten exposure. This resulted in illness, medication being required, and ongoing stress around meals for the remainder of the vacation. To be fair, we fully understand that there is always some level of cross-contamination risk when traveling with celiac disease, and this is something we routinely manage successfully both at home and while traveling elsewhere. The concern here was less about the existence of risk itself and more about inconsistent information, education, and understanding surrounding menu items that were specifically identified as gluten free. There were still enjoyable parts of the trip, and many staff members were friendly and worked hard. However, the combination of the prolonged sales process, construction disruption, and gluten-related issues significantly impacted what was intended to be a relaxing vacation. I would recommend the resort to travelers who enjoy a lively atmosphere and modern property, but I would strongly encourage future guests to be aware of the vacation club sales environment and to ask detailed questions regarding dietary accommodations if gluten-free dining is important to them.

Staff were very friendly, food was amazing rooms were clean and grounds were well kept. The adults only is also a bonus! Top shelf alcohol was a bonus as well. No reservations for al la cartes was nice also

First time at an adults only resort and it was fantastic. Staff were extremely friendly and anticipated our needs very well. Food and drinks and overall atmosphere of the resort was fun and upbeat. The night club and the entertainment were both refreshing and consistent, which was nice because we always had something to do.

All around great resort. Large rooms, Clean, attention to detail, food awesome, the staff very accommodating. Location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to everything...Medano Beach, downtown, shopping, overlooks the marina., Strongly recommended.

Everything you wanted and more. The room was huge and amazing. Food was 5 stars and the drinks keep coming. You are steps away from the blue water beach with relaxing spots to be in the sun or not. Would go again

March 5-12, 2026. My first visit to a resort. We were greeted by Alex our concierge, He proved to be amazing and made our trip so relaxing… A daily update on what was available, his hours and we saw him everyday. Next visit I will definitely request Alex. There is so many choices of restaurants… the French restaurant had the best steak.. The donuts in the Strip Grill for breakfast are the best donuts that I have ever had. I would love the brand or recipe..(hint). Unfortunately we had a very windy week, so we couldn’t go deep sea fishing. The beach is wonderful, I could have just sat enjoying the sound of the waves, pelicans and the people enjoying the waves. No Sargassum, very few people selling on the beach. If you just say no they do not bother you. I would recommend paying the extra for Xhale, the Xhale lounge is amazing and the staff are fabulous. If you have the opportunity to see Sam (singer) at the lounge. He was amazing. The rooms were big, very clean and well taken care. Thank you Manuel.

Traveled with my sister, brothers and their wives and some friends to celebrate various occasions. Wonderful resort with fabulous buffet at Spoon for every meal - tons of options beautifully presented, especially the dessert station. Great and helpful staff everywhere - activities people, wait staff, housekeeping, groundskeepers, etc. Best meals at French restaurant, Coquette, and Culinaria (continental). Room was always clean, good size w 2 double beds, big bathroom with huge shower, double sinks, separate toilet..we had garden view. Beach was great and could walk in either direction for over an hour each way..Breathless is in a bit of a cove so waves were less predominant than other resorts we passed, and very little seaweed/sargassum. Windy so only parasailing going on for a couple of days, but very sandy. Reefs not far out from shore so some people were snorkeling. The party pool was a party pool with younger crowd, but main pool closer to the beach was quieter. If you choose Pool View for a room, might want to be sure it's facing the main pool, as very noisy on the balcony if you are opposite the loud party pool during the day. Was great to have access to the Dreams Onyx, especially for the lazy river and slides. All in all, an excellent experience and surpassed our expectations.

The room was beautiful and an ocean view,which was an upgrade. We were treated well with decent service. The food in the restaurants were also delicious. We were at the French/mexican and buffet. The room was very clean when we checked in. Maintenance was reasonable some improvement on general cleaning like floors/bathroom area could have been more detailed. When we checked in I felt pressured with the sales girl Andrea. We hadn’t eaten and had an early flight. It was not the time for sales. We just wanted to eat and nothing was available till 6:00 pm accept the coffee shop.

Very clean,wonderful staff and excellent variety of food! Beautiful beach,lots of activities to do. Lots of restaurants to choose from too. Entertainment was top notch and loved their costumes! Would go again.

The resort is beautiful. Staff very helpful and seem to be happy at their jobs. The common areas are well maintained. The pools are very clean. The beach area is great, lots of chairs and space, clean. The buffet is incredible. Some of the restaurants are great, a couple need some attention. The rooms are clean, well maintained, stocked, comfortable. The only negative would be to avoid weeks of college break, the resort is overrun with large groups of college students. Few nights of young people yelling and fighting in hallways, although the resort had extra security and did try to keep it under control.

Everything was perfect From the people to beach ⛱️ And Everything in between!!! Having access to dreams onyx the family side was great. The Waterpark with the slides & lazy river..restaurants was an added bonus.

Absolutely no complaints about Breathless Punta Cana. Far exceeding our expectations. The food is delicious and a wide variety of options. The resort is very clean. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The beach is quiet and serene if you like peaceful vibes. The pools are more high tempo if that’s your thing. There is something for everyone at Breathless Punta Cana

We found everything to be clean, upkept and pleasing to the eye. The rooms, grounds, and restaurants were beautiful. The food was better than most all inclusives, the entertainment was fantastic! We definitely recommend and would return.

This is the second time we have been here, so we obviously thought enough to come back. This was largely because of service from Daniel in the buffet and service from the entire pool club from XHale...simply outstanding. They recognized us from last year and those are the things that make you feel you are coming home! All good, but, hopefully, one suggestion, for xHale members, why not leave beepers in the lounge so they can put us on the dinner wait list and give us a beeper. Then we don't run up and down It seems easy...hopefully it is! I know it was a different guest list this year with people switching from Jamaica. We had girls fighting beside us and they took it into the hall...it was a disaster. The next night it was a huge party in the room. You can't vet your guest list but security needs to take it seriously and be there faster.

This was our second visit to this resort The main difference was there was a very different clientele, mostly guests original headed to Jamaica. We were in the Exhale wing and for three nights we had fighting foul mouth females We don't feel that the front desk personal should be asked to rectify this very volatile situation This happened from 2am each morning. Very annoying to say the least

I loved it here - the service was amazing and the resort was extremely clean. I truly think it was well done. The food options were great, the rooms were clean, the pools were well kept. Drinks were slightly watered down.

The place is really well kept, staff speaks very good English. Food was excellent including the coffee. Very clean rooms, but it is somewhat of a party place. One needs to escape to the beach to have some quiet time outside between 9Am to 6 pm. The entertainment was really loud in the evening and very modest in the quality of the performance. I had to ask to review the sound quality since you can hear high level of bass (distorted) up to the beach. And with in 2 days the issue was solved.

The resort was nice, and as usual the staff and the people of Mexico are truly wonderful. The facilities are very nice as are the restaurants. The French was not open during our stay so I can’t comment on that. The rooms were nice and cleaning staff did a great job. Beach was nice but not private, so very busy. Save your money on booking the exhale upgrade package, approx. $800. Per room as in included vertically nothing. All in all, a nice place. Enjoyed my visit.

This is a must visit place to go. The rooms are comfortable. The swim out room was worth the upgrade. Everything is beautiful and upkept well. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. Food was amazing. Visit the French and Strip for a la carte restaurants for sure.

This resort was beautiful, very clean, friendly staff, the pool area was very clean and beautiful lots of games going on and very fun … the Italian restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious! We enjoyed the outdoor BBQ, lots of selection … There was lots of variety at the buffets to choose from . Really our only complaint was some of the food was not very hot at the buffets and the shuttle from the airport to hotel , it took about hour we were all crammed outside on a walkway , it was a little chaotic.and hot .. would definitely go again !

We had a wonderful time at this lovely resort. Most of all the service at the entire place was above and beyond our expectations. Everyone was so helpful, cheerful and the goal was to please. The food was great - and so many choices - to keep us happy. There was an abundance of choices for entertainment nightly. The flight with Air Transat was problem free and organized. We would definitely recommend this adult resort to others. Nancy

The hotel name was Punta Cana Princess- not Breathless.... Beautiful grounds, pool and ocean. Great restaurants, selections and food. Rooms are dated, and overdue for remodelling and repairs needed. A leaking toilet above my friend’s room, flooded the bathroom- solution was a bucket to catch from drip. Unused jacuzzi, and the shower didn’t have much water pressure, how long would it take to fill the jacuzzi. There was a VERY large cockroach in my room. I killed it and flushed it. The tiny coffee maker was cheap, old and the carafe pouring spout was broken off. I spoke to a number of people who were there for the first time and said they would not return. It was also their first time there and said they wouldn’t return. Worst of all the price was like a 5 star price but one week cost as much as two adults for 2 full weeks at a 3 star excellent hotel in Cuba price was high. Two days travel meant 6 actual days there.

Lovely grounds, friendly staff, good food choices, lovely pool area. The accommodation was dismal and outdated - I would not ever recommend it and I will never return. I also heard from folk on the bus leaving for the airport they shared my opinion.

I had never been to an adults only resort before, but I wish I had! So peaceful and quiet. The resort itself was amazing. The grounds were beautifully kept. The food was amazing, best that I think I have had during any trip south! The rooms, slightly dated but functional. The only reason to be in the room anyway was sleep and shower! Staff are amazing - shout out to Miguel!

Breathless Riviera Cancun was a wonderful resort. Was it perfect, no, but we had a great time. The staff is what makes this resort great, they go above and beyond. The restaurants were all great, buffet for breakfast was good, the nightly dinner restaurants were all excellent. If you are coming for the beach this is not a resort for you, as the beach is partially washed up, and lots of seaweed. You need to wake up early to secure your chair at the pool as chairs fill up before 8am. The Xcelerate pool was very chilly and music was excessively loud, so we preferred the energy pool. We had booked a swim out room, however the pool water was extremely cold so it was unusable, so save your $$$. The cellular reception is poor to non existent, so if you need to have your phone nearby, don't count on cellular service. Wifi was also pretty spotty. The rooms were clean, shower nice and big. I was impressed with all the age ranges of guests, from those who were barely 19 to over 60.

Let me start by saying I have been to several resorts in Jamaica and this one is not a five star resort. The main portion of the Breathless resort is across the street at their partner resort - Secrets Wild Orchid and St. James - no poolside service - rooms are rundown, showers in desperate need of a cleaning - buildings are tired and in need of paint - food is very disappointing - butler service is over rated,with the exception of Travis. Olivia was no where to be found. Staff seem to run the resort as their private party. There was no room on the dance floor as they take over all the night time activities in the lobby. Seem to be their personal party zone.

The hotel needs a refresh. The service was poor. There was not any pool side service and the entertainment was disappointing. It consisted of staff dancing with themselves. The only day we received service was on New Year’s Eve given management was present. I would recommend to management that they stay at this resort and experience first hand the service they receive and adjust accordingly. We also had to buy expensive wine if we wanted to participate in the fire show or reserve a seat at the rooftop restaurant for New Year’s Eve. These sentiments were shared by many guests from different parts of the world who travel to 5 star resorts.

Nothing good to say Sexually harrased by gay man 6 times Hotel Did nothing Horrible entertainment and beach not worth $6200 I won’t recommend it to anyone . If you travel with a guy friend ur labeled gay. It’s a swingers resort . Horrible experience . Wished you had told me That it’s a swingers resort

Friendly and welcoming staff, good food and drinks. Entertainment team kept us laughing and made the experience more memorable! :) Loved the different restaurants they offered. Overall a great time!!

Very nice resort but not worth the week stay. Pools close at 6:30, beach is closed at 7:30, lots of construction going on inside the halls and outside on the beach. Plenty of space and chairs by pool and on the beach but no relaxation with people selling items every two minutes. Food was excellent and service was amazing, Jean Carlos on pool side and multiple members at the restaurants and xhale breakfast are the only reason i did not cancel my plans early for a new location. Traveling off resort by taxi will cost you $80-100 regardless where you go so pre-plan a travel service is highly recommended

Best resort yet, of many. All fantastic…from check-in, rooms, grounds, pools, people, entertainment, service. Everything well maintained and clean. Only wished I’d taken more pictures and stayed much longer. We’ll be back.

Now I'll start quickly with the negatives -Rooms are dated (although beds extremely comfortable) -Outdoor space on the ground floor of rooms kind of reminded me of an unkept patio. Now enough of that - because I didn't spend much time in my room Food - Excellent. Typical All Inclusive meals, but everything was plentiful and flavourful. The French Restaurant was my favourite. Beach - Lots of space, activities ongoing should you want to participate, or you can relax. Pools - MY FAVOURITE! There was something for everyone. I had the Exhale suite and with that came access to a VIP pool. This was a quiet space where you could truly RELAX The Activity Pool was great during the day....lots of space and the entertainment team always was around to get you involved in something should you choose to Party Pool - At 3pm everyday the DJ sets up and the party begins. Nightlife - shows were decent and everyone was having a great time.

Definitely read the reviews before you come. We were disappointed in a few things . First , no beach not private right beside a public access to the beach right beside a lot of tour boats , lots of kids crowded and no beach as it’s covered in seaweed ( all over though) . We traveled in a group of 12 and bc you can’t reserve any restaurants ( first come first serve ) we had to wait long lengths to eat dinner . Few of the days the buffet was closed for dinner which made the wait even longer . Very slow service at the sit down dinner service. Our room was beautiful . The gym was very small and always packed . As usual couldn’t get a lounge chair around the pool. I’ve stayed at secrets all the rius rih palace Occidental’s Barcelos and have to say this was my least favourite

Staff were fabulous. They are kind, friendly and very attentive. Butler service was fantastic. Restaurants and buffet very good. Very happy with my vacation at this resort. It was nice to be part of the Secrets resort also.

We stayed for 11 days at the Breathless Punta Cana Resort. The staff were very attentive and if we had any issues with our room they were there right away to address them. Simple things like the safe battery, tv remote not working and things like that. The maids were great and each day they cleaned our room and brought fresh towels. We really enjoyed the fact that you didn't have to make reservations for dinner only the one restaurant required it and was very easy to book with the hotel staff. We always enjoyed the quiet pool during the day but if we want more music etc we could have gone to the party pool but we enjoyed just relaxing while we were here. The night time entertainment was great and we really enjoyed sitting around at the main bar in the evening and service here was great as well. You will enjoy your time here and we loved it was adult only as we did visit the Dreams one next door to just walk around but there were a lot of families there as well.

Just returned home from a stay at Breathless Riviera. The property was immaculate, the staff members were always friendly and very accommodating. I had a few minor issues in my room, such as a broken hair dryer and defective safe, but overall, I'm very satisfied. As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe on the grounds and walking back to my room. The best bar "The Bar" has amazing staff. A big shout out to Mario, Raul and Guillermo for their excellent attention to details, friendliness and custom drinks. If you don't enjoy loud music, consider a room on the Xhale side of the hotel.

This resort is fantastic! I can't say enough good things about it. I usually stay at Secrets resorts, but Breathless is just as amazing. The staff, starting with Andrea who made check-in a breeze, were all so friendly and helpful. Pascual, Cesar and Giovani at the buffet were particularly polite and kind, and the guys at the pool bar, Ciro, Daniel, Melqui were incredible. The food was delicious, and the resort itself is beautiful and spacious, with two pools offering different vibes – one for partying with a DJ all day, and the other for a more relaxed atmosphere. The entertainment team, including Omar, David, and Julietta, were wonderful. The cleanliness of the resort was top-notch, although there was some seaweed on the beach for the first couple of days due to the weather, but the staff worked hard to keep it clean. the beach became fantastic when the weather improved, with no seaweed in sight. Overall, I highly recommend this resort and will definitely be returning!

It was our first visit and won’t be our last! Nice spacious rooms, punctual housekeeping, beautiful grounds. Special shoutout to our server Julio - he provided top-level service that we were so grateful for! Sad to say goodbye to the resort and our new friend Julio, but looking forward to returning.

We stayed here and was very pleased with the service. The view was beautiful. The room was very comfortable. The service was impressive. Thank you to the very talented staff. The only thing I would suggest to anyone booking would be to include your travel to and from the hotel to the airport. We found out the hard way. Expensive taxis Thank you to the staff

This is the fifth time I’ve been to this resort I have an amazing time always something to do any events shows and theme parties. Multiple pools to choose from with one crazy party pool who can ask for anything more

The set up and grounds are very attractive. Staff were very friendly and helpful Not a 4 star hotel. Rooms had issues including thermostat not working. Door to patio hinge almost falling off. Food all about presentation but usually served cold, no cream for coffee, Decaf coffee instant powder, no hot water in the shower. There is a u-tube video about this resort called the "good, the bad and the ugly" I has been called the "party resort. True If you are a party animal you would probably think its just fine

The hotel was extremely clean in restaurant area hallways, and common areas, well staffed and everyone was attentive. SPA WAS AMAZING Food was quite good. except for sea food - im a seafood lover it was extremely fishy i couldnt finish any seafood plate We had a swimout swim which was quite musty, beautiful room but smell was off- also no fitted sheets on beds only use a flat sheet ontop of mattress that isnt large enough to cover the mattress which has no cover on it and was dirty looking. The loudness on the energy side is beyond normal if you are on that side of the hotel book a different room you cant nap in your room before 6pm as you are basically in a night club the quite side of the beach was nice, the swim up pool is nice but the hot tub should be hot not same temp as pool. Water activities were included except their employees was charging people - brought this up with management and they dealt with it but told me a few times no way and i was mistaken - which i wasnt. i did have a fun time but i wouldnt stay at a breathless again its really for college spring break kids 24/7

Entertainment could have been better Bus ride from the airport was more than an hour Requested two beds but none available ended up with a king size and a roll away - did not pay to sleep on a rollaway bed

The room , amenities and the staff were really great. The buffet was great but specialty restaurants were ordinary . The two pools were super fun but the ocean was filled with fresh and rotten sea weeds. The resort was doing their best to clean up the beach but couldn’t win over nature.

Resort was clean, food was good (especially the French a la carte restaurant), plenty of sitting spaces near the beach/pools, staff was very friendly and provided amazing service. Our concierge, Emilio, was excellent - very friendly, helpful and always available to assist us with anything. He brought us champagne to our rooms when we didn’t even ask! Very sweet guy. My only complaint was the bed sheets in the rooms seemed a little damp due to moisture in the air but I’m not sure much could’ve been done about that. Regardless I enjoyed my stay and would come again.

We were Xhale Club, so our check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. Our room was comfortable and always kept immaculate. We appreciated the nightly turndown service. Our host (butler) Emilio treated us like queens from the time that we got there until the time that we left. He went above and beyond for us, and he is the #1 reason why we will return to this resort. He is a real gem, and an asset to your company. Please pass along our gratitude to our beloved Emilio. The buffet food was surprisingly good! The best that I have had at an all-inclusive. The Strip Grill, Coquette and Spumante restaurants were all very good. The service from all staff was exceptionally great, There are too many to name, unfortunately. The entertainment was lively and energetic. The drinks at the Xhale Club lounge were spot on. There is so much more that I could say, but I will wrap it up by saying that everything was absolutely perfect!

This resort exceeded my expectations!! So beautiful, clean & top notch service in all areas of the resort. I’m a fussy eater and NEVER went hungry, the food was great and ohhh the beef tenderloin was superb!! Now on to the BEST person on the resort, our concierge, Emilio! He made us 4 ladies feel like Queens for the whole week and was always there checking on us and asking if we needed anything and what ever we requested, he would make happen, from dawn until dusk he was always there! The whole team at Breathless Punta Cana deserve a high five, from the servers, grounds keepers & pool cleaners, they ALL work extremely hard to ensure we have a great, clean and joyous week! I can’t wait to return, thank you Breathless 😊

Hi Overall very nice resort ate all all restaurants except the Hibachi because everyone we spoke to advise it was horrible however we ate at all of the other ones and did not have a bad meal. We did purchase an Xhale pkg and liked the option for sit down breakfast and lunch. We did have a butler but he did not do much and some days never saw him at all. We mostly stayed at the quieter pool as we are in our fifties, the other party pool is that exactly mostly young crowd very loud banging music with lots of intoxicated people even saw one day they had bottles of champagne and tequila in the pool passing in around to share When we were in our rooms late afternoon that pool was heard all over the resort.... No real complaints we will try another resort next time.

Our meals and accommodation were wonderful. Lots of food choices and la a carte restaurants. Best part for us was the swim out pool right outside our back deck. Loved the beach even though the seaweed was plentiful. The resort did there best to scoop up daily. Drinks were good but not a lot of premium top shelf choices if that’s what you want. The only draw back for us was the late night music until 2 each night. More a 18 to 40’s atmosphere. Pool music started at noon and lots of activities in the morning. As for Covid 19 precautions, hand sanitizer at restaurants but that’s it. So if worried about that, not the place for you as lots of close contact in pools and chairs. Enjoyed our stay but a bit tired from late nights.

Breathless Riviera Cancun is a beautiful resort. Rooms are spectacular. Beds are comfortable. Shower is spectacular, pictures do not do it justice. Buffet food was always hot and plentiful. I would have preferred that the Mexican restaurant serve real Mexican food, otherwise they were all very good. The pool was very nice and warm, get a chair early because it fills up fast. I have two complaints. This one is fixable... They tell you when you arrive at the front desk, this is a party resort... OK... North pool has party music from 1pm to 6pm, the south pool is quieter. Not true... Thump thump music all day. Day 5 they put on regular rock and country music, the entire pool cheered and applauded! The supervisor told the entertainment guy to put it back to Thump Thump, the crowd BOOO'ed READ THE CROWD! Thump thump music is ok but keep it to the right crowd at the right time. Eating dinner is not the right crowd either! Everyone we talked to felt the same way. Second complaint is not fixable, nature prevails... the beach was covered with seaweed, it kept us away from the beach, seaweed smells when in direct sun. I give the resort 5 gold stars, I would have given it 4 Diamonds if the music was more of what their clients wanted.

Don't waste your money here. Worst experience in Jamaica - and I've been here many times as a couple and with family. Hotel Grounds / Room : room technology didn't even work properly, jets in tub weren't working (we were in xhale club swimout room). Hotel grounds were always clean and looked nice. Staff: Could use customer service training at front desk. Was not impressed with check in/out and butler service. (Requested two things the entire trip from our butler and he was only able to fulfill one- we asked him to make a dinner reservation and to secure us a cabana ) Staff in dining areas and bar were not exceptional Entertainment staff were fine Cleaning staff was fine Entertainment: they turned the lobby into a club which was cool Food: This hotel boasts 5 restaurants? But there are 3 on site and not everything is open everyday. One location is used as two different restaurants. Ie. The main lobby bar had two stand up islands and that was considered another "restaurant". We went to two different restaurants on different nights and they both had the same menu lol The secrets side had a few more options but the Jerk cart was the only thing that tasted authentic and fresh. The food itself was underwhelming and VERY disappointing and sometimes stale (it felt like room service gave us chicken that was out all day, hard and stale) Rooftop: This is the saving grace of this resort. The view from here is truly beautiful and the sunset was amazing from here. Beach: the beach is located on the secrets side and its decorated with breathless colors and cabanas. There is also a bar on this side but all five days we were there never saw anyone serving drinks. We ended up going to secrets bars to get drinks. Overall I would say this is not a 5star resort and would not come back.

Loved this resort! The spa is gorgeous and we especially enjoyed the aquatherapy circuit. Rooms are beautiful: comfy bed and great view. We enjoyed all the restaurants, the buffet and " The Nest" coffee cafe. We did a day trip to Isla Mujeres and the resort was right next to where the boat docked, very convenient. Really enjoyed the pools ( ground floor pool was the perfect temperature) and the beach. Overall, an amazing time!

The resort is very beautiful, the grounds immaculately kept and clean. I give credit to the incredible staff and their excellent customer service at the restaurants, front desk, serving staff and bars. However, there were some areas that required improvement. We are a couple of seniors and were assigned a room on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. It was a challenge climbing up and down those stairs every day. The housekeeping staff were very inconsistent with their timing on cleaning our room. Some days, they were there in the morning, late afternoon and even at 9:30 at night which was too late. The mini bar in our room was not consistently replenished. Our room was very outdated and the air conditioning was really loud. The jacuzzi on the balcony was very rusted and hardly any water pressure. The tv remote worked inconsistently- we had to call to get new batteries installed and even after then, it still didn't work well. We were in the Xhale club which provided so much better drinks, more quiet and liked the private beach and pool. However, at the large poolside area at the front, there were 2 djs, one at each end of the pool. Both competing with each other as to who played the music loudest which was extremely annoying because you couldn't make out the music was playing-i.e. rap on one end and country music on the other - both blared so loud. If you are the party type and under age40, I would recommend this resort. People were so loud, very drunk - we were woken up several days in a row at 3 am in the morning with loud drunks yelling and screaming at each other as they climbed up the stairs to go to their room. As far as entertainment goes, it was mediocre at best. They need to have more entertainment in the evening, especially at the Xhale club bar. We loved the bar, but there was no music or entertainment there. The restaurants were so-so. Two of the restaurants were never open at all. We enjoyed the French restaurant and the steakhouse. The buffet food was the same every day so we got tired of it.

Dinners were excellent. Drinks everywhere were all watered down. Crown royal is rum not whiskey. The men are friendly the woman not so much. Was there 5 years ago. Won’t go back just ok 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

We spent 11 fantastic days at Breathless Riviera Cancun. Rooms were very clean and checked twice a day (special thanks to our room maid, Chris). Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurants- we have used mainly Spoon for breakfast and lunch, plenty food and very attentive staff, special thanks to hostesses Julissa, Axel, Crisantema, also to restaurant staff, especially Pascual, Joakin and Angel. The overall experience at Breathless was amazing, thank you all the staff!

We had a good time. Food was decent, rooms were clean, service was okay. However, when it comes to adults only, this is misleading. The Breathless is connected to the Dreams resort next door which is not an adults only result. We were told that Breathless guests could go to Dreams however, only adults were allowed on the Breathless resort. This was not the case. Multiple times where teenagers were getting quite drunk on the Breathless resort at various pools. A few instances where they almost started a fight. No one working on Breathless seemed to do anything to either a) prevent non-adults from coming on the resort or b) getting them off when they were on the resort and causing problems. My wife and I were young once and we get that teenagers are going to try and sneak a few drinks in when they have the opportunity. But when you are getting hammered and getting close to starting fights on a resort where you aren't suppose to be and disrupting guests who paid to be on an adults only resort, that crosses a line for us.

Hotel Rooms - Great - Always clean, great view of Marina, Large deck area. ( Fridge did not work but we just ran down and got our drinks if we needed any in our room) Food - Honestly was expecting better. Maybe set my standards too high. Was good but not great. I love my food so this was important, I'd give it 6 out or 10 Drinks - They didn't skip out on the alcohol content.... Servers were great , attentive, and no concerns Service - Overall great staff. Pools - Only 2 - Quiet pool was great. Overlooking Marina. Great service. Pool overlooking ocean would have been good but you have buy bottle service to be around pool. As members, this was disappointing. Ended up sitting on beach which was great. Small area to swim but at least you get to go in water to cool off. Location - The best - Had great hikes daily ( 2 hours each) - highly recommend them all. Rescue Dog shelter hike was amazing, Pedragal ( Sp?) area is beautiful and if you hike up through there you see some amazing homes and hit a different beach ( Not swimmable but beautiful ) which was fantastic - a must see. ( Take water to drink on all hikes - steep at times and gets hot) The Marina was great, tons of restaurants but had too many vendors trying to sell you things. You get immune to it after a day or so, but still not my favourite. TO DO - Take a cab to San Jose and Do the " Art Walk " - Some amazing talent ! I am not an artist but I enjoyed this immensely. We didn't do the tour and found it very good.

This was a great resort. Would we return? Probably not, but only because there are other resort chains that we love more. We read a ton of reviews before we went and to be honest, we disagree with a lot of what's been recently said. The towel game is definitely in play but by 9am, there were still plenty of options. The shaded options were few and far between at that point, but other reviews stated there just weren't enough chairs for everyone. This is not true. There were plenty. Others also commented on the wifi. It wasn't great, but it was manageable. The connections frequently dropped but it was only a minute or so before you could connect again. We never had a problem in the room, it was just when you were around the pool that sometimes it would drop. Is it a party resort? Maybe. But if you weren't into that scene, it was easy to avoid it. We asked for a quiet room and that's what we got! We were completely unaware of the loud music, doors slamming, etc that others complained about. We never heard a thing! No one ever approached us for time-share meetings. Not once. Which was great. Covid protocols - masks were required at the buffets and enforced *most* of the time. If you didn't have a mask, they would give you one at the entrance, but when they ran out, they just let you in. Masks were not enforced anywhere else even though they had signs posted at all entrances that you needed one. All staff wore masks at all times. Our butler was great. His name was Gliny. We didn't need a lot of help during our stay but anything we did need was right there to help us! He also set up a nice birthday surprise of a door banner, rose pedals, champagne and a cake for the hubby's birthday. This was a nice touch! Housekeeping was great. Our room was *usually* done by about 12pm. Once it wasn't done until late in the evening (7-ish) but it wasn't a big deal. Turn-down service was hit and miss. We seemed to only get it twice during our week stay, but again, not a big deal. I can turn down my own sheets... The Xhale upgrade was 100% worth the extra money. With this upgrade, we were allowed to have breakfast in the open-air Strip Grill restaurant instead of the main buffet. THIS ALONE MADE IT WORTH IT. I could not imagine eating any more meals in the main buffet. It was closed-in, crowded, and just not a nice atmosphere. Speaking of which, none of the restaurants had a nice atmosphere. We didn't overly enjoy the experiences in any of them. The dinner service was just ok. No one was overly friendly and they often got the orders wrong. Not a big deal to us, as all of the food was pretty good. Nothing that stands out as being excellent, but no poor meals either. If I gave feedback to the resort, it would be to liven up the restaurants so that you didn't feel that you were sitting at a random table in an open-space room. It always felt awkward. The Mexican restaurant (Picante) was advertised as part of Breathless, but it was in fact part of Dreams. A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE when you think you're at an adults-only resort and you are suddenly surrounded by more kids in one room than you've seen in your life!! (I'm not a parent if that's not obvious). My advice is to skip Picante all together, and stay at Breathless. The gym was also part of Dreams. As avid CrossFitters, we were naturally at the gym at 6am daily... the gym was pretty well equipped but SO HOT!!!! No air conditionning? And kids were allowed there too...climbing all over everything. Had we have known this in advance, we may not have chosen this particular resort...but that's just our preference and no fault of the resort. The beach was nice, and well maintained. We took a daily walk in each direction but other than that, we spent no time there. Lastly, this is not a comment about the resort but about our private transfer to get there. This was the first time we paid for a private transfer from the airport, and this will become the norm for us. It was awesome! As soon as we got our luggage and got out of the airport, we were immediately swept away into a private van and hurried to the resort without stops along the way. It wasn't cheap but the experience was well worth the money. All in all it was a great week and nice weather.

Me and my wife had the best time ever visiting this hotel... We met some amazing people and were treated like ROYALTY! Food was amazing, people were so generous and caring we will certainly be back. I want to extend a special thank you to Xavier our bell hop who was super accommodating and helpful and to Pascal our amazing server who made us feel so welcome and special! I wish I got everyone's name because there wasn't one bad experience for us The staff at breathless are just so kind and wonderful. 10 out of 10 resort with so much to do, entertainment was phenomenal and once again the food was Devine. The rooms were impeccable with great views and room service was on time and bang on. Our rooms were cleaned daily with a service you just cant compete with. Once again thank you Breathless for such an amazing introduction to beautiful Mexico. We will be back. SOON! Jonny and Sara :) xoxo

Nice, but wouldn't return. Pros. Staff amazing, nice pool close to beach. Cons, No indoor lobby bar, rough pool bottom (it hurts), cold food served too often. A little dirty in hallways, Wine was served warm often. Been to many resorts in Mexico and this was middle of the road.

The hotel was ok. They weren't very strict on covid 19 precautions when it came to wearing masks. You could enter restaurants without a mask with the exception of the buffet. We were surprised by this. The buffet bathroom was not very clean, one toilet not flushing, water spout in the sink was literally dripping water so pretty hard to rinse your hands. The paper towel dispenser did not work and had to use toilet paper. I went to the buffet washroom twice during the week and it was exactly the same. No repairs were done and it was still very dirty. Ordered room service for our last breakfast before returning home. They came 1/2 hour earlier than they were supposed to and had both our orders wrong. I mean completely wrong. Not what we had ordered at all. Our bathroom door did not close so we had to put a garbage can in the door to keep it closed. The wooden divider on the balcony was detached at one end and caused very loud noises and made it very hard to sleep especially during our week as it was very windy. The food was mediocre at best with the exception of the Italian restaurant. The wine was always warm and the food was always cold at the other restaurants. Thankfully, the staff was very accommodating and the entertainment staff were very good. It was still very nice week but it isn't a resort that I would go back to or recommend.

We loved this resort. So much. Clean. Friendly. Has everything you want. Love the layout and we had a lovely swim out room in 6 building. Food was great and service was awesome. We enjoyed the whole resort this past week. COVID has changed a few things but understandable and we are understanding and polite Canadians. These guys work hard. All day. Drinks were always flowing and music going. Wink was fun every night. Bites was great for mid day but that beach side pizza was unreal awesome. Thanks Cesar. He took such good care of us. Wilberth at the Bites area bar was awesome and knew what we wanted and we were never waiting. Dael on the entertainment team was so great and made us feel so welcomed. Loved no bracelets and no dinner reservations except Habachi grill. Was nice to just pick and choose and go. Italian was awesome both times. We loved Hibachi night! So great. 24 hour room service came in so handy for late night snacks and pre ordering breakfast to our room. Also the AMR app was fabulous to literally request or book anything all week. Thanks to the fabulous staff and new friends! We can’t wait to be back.

Happy we booked here! We had access to the 2 joining resorts, food was good, service was EXCELLENT. The rooms could be cleaner and more bright. The beaches and pools were amazing. The shows at night were good, but they played too much rock music for my liking. A great place to go with a group of friends or your partner.. there was always a party happening at one of the pools.

Great hotel and entertainment staff was polite and entertaining pool staff as well we loved this place me and my girl friend and will be back the beach was very clean and well maintained ................

We paid for the xhale club at Breathless resort, not worth extra money, We arrived at 10 am and didn’t get room till 3, our luggage showed up at 5 after many phone calls, and the host that was supposed to look after us for the week. It is very dated, room was musty smelling, we didn’t get much extra for our money, we had a lounge with premium alcohol, supposed to be for xhale guests, anyone could come in, nobody checked. Overall we had a good week, weather wasn’t the greatest but can’t control that.

The resort grounds were immaculate, the rooms are beautiful and the staff are amazing. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. It is not too big so easy to get around and you have many choices for food at all times, you can have a quiet day at one pool or you can sit at the party pool where there is always something going on. The beach was amazing and kept very clean.

True luxury resort , service was perfect , food too , xhale isnt really worth it . You get too little extra for what you pay for ... The butler who wont do much will ask you to write a review on Tripadvisor in front of him so of course you will find tons of great review about xhale and their butlers but they dont much at all ... But the resort itself is great , all the restaurant are perfect and there is no wait or reservation needed . They keep asking you for drinks either on the beach or at pool . Your always taken care of . ! I recommend ! Great place to party ! Only downside is that the people are leaving towels to reserve chairs everywhere around the party pool , so unless you dont care and will dump them and take their "reserved seat" like i did you will have to stand or do the same really early . Only annoying thing . Everything else was perfect !

This was our first time at an all adults resort, didn't know what to expect. But wow! it was an experience to remember. Food was always amazing and never stopped Resort was clean and stunning Shows were non stop, always some activity happening some where Party.... WOW! never have I partied so much on any trip, amazing time People were all so humble and kind to us and very helpful if we needed anything E team was always putting on exciting shows and keep us entertained My husband and I would go back in a heart beat. Best of all we had the best travel agent, working for us whenever we needed anything. Had issues with the flight, but Victoria worked on her own personal time to make it right for us. She got us what we wanted, can't say enough about how amazing this woman was to us. My husband and I are both very thankful for her and will be sure to use her on our next booking. We will be back Breathless, i guarantee it (heart) Rhonda V.

Breathless was a great place to stay, food was great, the place was clean and the staff was friendly. There is always something to do there so you would never be bored. The only negative would be that the drink consistency varied from bar to bar and you never knew what your drink would taste like each time. Also turn down service was to be done every night but it only happened once for us. No biggie as it was minor to us. We would come back

Breathless was breathless. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The food was excellent and the presentation from the buffet to Al la Carte’s was top notch. 12 of us went and 12 of us said we would return The beach was clean and huge and lots of chairs and sun shades Both pools were fun and designed to either party all day or a more relaxed area Staff were amazing. Polite, courteous, and willing to do anything to help

Breathless Punta Cana was amazing! The grounds and beach were pristine and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff are what made this trip unforgettable; they are friendly and willing to help in any way at all. The entertainment crew ensured that there was never a dull moment, but there was always opportunities to relax on the beach or the main pool. I had absolutely no issues during my trip. Accommodations were exactly what I needed. Highly recommend Breathless Punta Cana and will definitely be back!

So let's start off with you get greeted with a fresh towel to freshen up! Very nice offer! They check you in fairly quickly and deliver your luggage to your room! The room was a little musty smelling but not horiable. The room I was in was nice needs a little touch up here and there nothing major or worth calling front desk about... The one down fall was my shower would not drain fast enough but it did get fix along with the tv remote not working couldn't turn on or off the tv. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of! The food was ok... Not what I was expecting for the price I paid could have been better quality however the French and Italian restaurant where the best out of all of the restaurants. Now the party scene at this resort is great! Always had music going late into the night the theme nights and night club where great and the bar tenders where awesome this is where in my mind the resort stood out! If you are looking for a fun time and to let lose this is the place to go!

Highly recommend this resort. Has everything you could want; great rooms, service, food, beach, pools... You can hide away on the beach, or party at the pool. Great for couples and singles. It will leave you breathless.

This hotel was extremely disappointing. After spending the past two years at the Breathless Riviera Cancun we had expectations of a similar experience. Knowing of course that Jamaica is a different country (we have visited before and enjoyed the people and beaches of Negril) we still thought the hotel quality would live up to the Breathless brand. It didn’t. The resort was dirty, the maintenance lacking. Considering this is a newer hotel it is in a poor state. Every fabric furnishing in the room and lobby surface was stained and there was a lot of damage to furnishings overall. The food was pretty good but sadly the service was really lacking. There was no pool service, we could never get a place to lay by the pool and the nightlife was very poor. The walk to the beach And the majority of restaurants on the secrets complex was long enough to be off putting. Stay at secrets if you like this location. You can still visit Breathless. There is no control between hotels and no wristbands.

The Hotel was beautiful, different events happening every night and day. The Rooms were Great Came fully stocked with mini bar and big beds. The staff were amazing always around when needed. Would return!

This hotel was AMAZING, I heard a lot of good things so I was excited to try it. We went January 2020 for our honeymoon and they were awesome! We were able to celebrate my husband's birthday and our honeymoon all in one trip. We travel quite a bit and this was by far the best resort for food and drinks. The food was AMAZING and so were the drinks, drinks were top shelf so you didn't feel crappy after. I could have 5 daiquiris and not feel gross. The staff was also VERY friendly, they always made you feel welcome and felt like they wanted you there. We can't wait to go back.. and that is saying alot because we never go to the same resort twice.

This resort is newer and in great shape. The staff were super attentive and very friendly, food was good for the most part. We received a "raw" hamburger - super rare/red - so be sure to request how you want your meat cooked. The resort was not very full when we were there (went with my husband) making it very easy to get a good location at any pool or beach and no line up to enter any restaurants (a bonus)! This is a good resort for couples, friends, special occasion celebrations. They had a few odd restrictions, we found strange they wouldn't let you turn the chairs in the pool areas to face the sun, even if you were not blocking anyone, baffled me (told at the Xhale pool). We were told it was upper management rules. They also have a fairly large section blocked off (1/3rd of the pool) in the Xcelerated pool at the end of the resort that is reserved for anyone who will pay for champagne (minimum bottle was over $100 US increasing to $4,000), nuts!! I only saw a few people in that section throughout the week. It was explained that it was to bring in more profits for the resort. The entertainment/DJ is in that area, if want to be in that section buy a bottle of champagne or you have to remain in the pool, very odd. Seemed to be more than half ages 18-35 but there were some more our age which is 45-55 when we were there! If you have been to a Dreams or another Breathless you can expect the same type of resort and service. We've been to a few and find them very similar though not the crazy rules/restrictions. We travel 3-4 times over each winter. Overall it is a nice resort, read all reviews before deciding, this was just mine opinion.

Beautiful setting in a perfect location. We loved our location as we were close to the city, bars and restaurants. Thought the rooms were above average, check-in and check-out experience was smooth and seamless. The staff at all the restaurants and bars were friendly and always will to go above and beyond the call of duty - however the service style is very much 4 star and not 5 - simple examples they would serve you bottle of water at dinner and not bring a glass - sounds little but important. Food variety, taste and quality was again very good. Pool entertainment was fun, loud and just amazing - kind of place if you like to fun and enjoy music. Overall very happy - will go back! Thank you to the team that made stay so memorable. Gym - average at best.

The service and each and every member of the staff was just excellent! The facilities are also awesome, everything you need is always there. Great views of the ocean, the xhale area was quiet and relaxing. Food is ok. Mexican restraunt was excellent.

Wasn’t sure what to expect t but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was really nice - rooms were great... good ac, clean, comfortable, spacious. The resort is a little ways away from Cancun, but unless your plan is to be in the city, you don’t need it. The hotel definitely has a constant “club” vibe, with each music, but there are areas to escape, and the people do not always reflect that same vibe. It just gives a lot of energy. There are all age ranges and lots to do, including activities, great food and drinks, spa and relaxation. The entertainment staff were amazing, and I would come back for them - they really make the stay so enjoyable. 2 things - it’s best to upgrade. We got in a room right outside the disco and it was Unreasonably loud and very difficult to get a good sleep. It didn’t ruin our stay, but I’d absolutely make sure to stay in the quieter area so I can choose when I want noise next time. The pool area is also “lined” with a really rough stone... it will ruin your bathing suit bottoms and it’s kind of rough on the skin (and manicures ladies!). Again, it’s not a dealbreaker but it was really tough for a whole week. And we could have gone to the beach (small but sufficient) but just enjoyed the pool.

Food was good, drinks were good, entertainment was the same every day just different outfits, couldn’t move lawn beds at all which was annoying because they were not always facing the sun just found this resort had too many rules

To sit around the entertainment at the pool you had to buy a bottle of champagne no if ands or butts otherwise you had to stay in the pool at the exhilarate The champagne bottles started at $160 US to a crazy amount of 12,000 US they try and nickel and dime you for hanging around the pool when the shows were on It was the same dancers every day dancing the same but in different outfits lol To sit around the dance floor at the nightclub bar you also had to buy champagne or you had to stand way in the back overall experience would never go back , nice place but give up trying to sell a champagne bottle

I chose Breathless Riviera Cancun to have the best of all worlds: a packed activities schedule, ample relaxation, tasty dining experiences, and friendly customer service. I traveled alone but never felt lonely with the kind and attentive recreation, bar, and wait staff. The resort is fairly new with beautiful, clean, modern rooms. The resort is on the smaller side, but there were plenty of dining and bar options. The scallops at the French restaurant and the NY strip at the steakhouse were my favourites. The entertainment was awesome; I enjoyed the bubble party and the daytime pool and poolside fitness classes. I'm not much of a night club person but after dark there was great music (sometimes live), lights, and a wonderful crowd of fellow happy vacationers that I did enjoy briefly before going to sleep. I went in November when there was intermittent rain but still had a great time. My only words of caution are: (1) Please be careful when the floors outside of the rooms are wet because they can be quite slippery. (2) I'm from Vancouver so I know and love Asian food. The resort's Asian-themed restaurant's hibachi grill was a lot of fun and definitely something to reserve for but I'd suggest saving the sushi for when you're back at home.

Our stay in Punta Cana You said we stayed at breathless and we did not because we stayed at Impressive And we were very happy with it. Yes we would return because the service was great the ocean was great the beach was great and the food and wine were great.

My wife and I had an amazing time staying at Breathless. One word to describe the resort was luxurious. Few things that could be improved are room cleaning times, room service and nightly entertainment.

Food was ok, not great. The room in our hotel was “tired” multiple things were damaged: The door broke off in front of the fridge The fridge stock wasn’t that great. The fridge itself was broken. The shower leaked out the bottom of the glass at the floor. The hotel gym was FAR too small for the amount of equipment in the room, and the pictures I saw of the gym were ENTIRELY different than what was delivered. Room service food was deplorable quality. The beaches were nice but a bit of a walk from our room. I’d give it a 4 star rating at best. I’m unfortunately not as Impressed with the hotel as I’d hoped to be. Our room was close to the pool and getting to sleep early when we wanted to was almost impossible with the music playing. :( Also had to call the front desk multiple times to request more water bottles for the room. And they only showed up half the time I ordered them. We saw multiple different resorts while picking others up while going on excursions and they looked far superior. But most importantly, Beverly Russel of JTL tours was the best thing about the entire trip. She was fantastic. I’d recommend the hotel strictly to have the pleasure of working with her. 👍. So although I’ve left the “recommend this hotel to others” set at “no” ill be honest and say it’s 50/50

Immaculate upkeep. Wonderful staff. Felt extremely secure. Staff found my cell phone I left at the pool and I recovered it easily. Lifesavers! Within 5 minutes of telling someone my mini fridge broke they had installed a new one! Shout outs to Melvin at the pool bar and DJ Lex who killed it everyday!

I have never experienced such a beautiful and luxurious place. Everything was perfect and totally above my expectations. I am so happy to have experienced a week of luxury. I can’t express it any better.

Probably one of the best resorts! Everything and everyone was amazing from the second we walked in they made us feel so special! The resort is very clean and kept very well, if anything would spill they were ready to clean! My best friend and I spent most of our time on the activities side since we did not want to leave the resort we needed things to do and The E-TEAM did not disappoint they were absolutely amazing! Ulisses is the team supervisor and he clearly knows what he’s doing.. Sandra, Moon, Natalia, Dora and Alexandro were my favourite they had energy they were fun, they always wanted to make sure we were having fun and truly we had a blast they really know what they are doing I would go back simply for them!! Truly an amazing entertainment team!! Twist and squeeze had two bartenders both named Fernando and they were 110% the best!! They made great drinks consistently! They were so attentive and they will make you a drink till the last second and even a little past the closing time! The restaurants were impeccable but our favourite restaurant for many reasons was the French one! The food was amazing (I recommend the beef medallion) but the service truly was mind blowing, Misael was our server both times and he is absolutely extraordinary 10/10 would recommend!! Kibbeh was also a great one and Sergio will make sure you leave with a smile on your face!! We are definitely coming back!!!

I had a great 5 day stay at Breathless Resort in Punta Cana. The food was amazing. I was not used to A La Cart being included in my package so it was just a plus in that aspect. I was not use to having a mini fridge being stocked every day at no charge so that was amazing too. I had a Jacuzzi on my balcony which I used every day and I faced the quieter pool which again was great. The staff were so friendly!!!! I felt really safe here. Everything this resort promises online is totally true. The staff at the resort will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The entertainment every night was spectacular and the drinks where delicious!! Lots of dancing so bring your dancing shoes!!!! There is a little market that is 2 minutes away just outside the resort that has more of a selection for gifts and prices are much better then the stores in the resort itself so be sure to check it out!!! I had a blast and made a couple of nice friend that I still keep in touch with. Only thing I would like to mention is do not leave the resort alone Always travel outside the resort with someone or in a group.

The resort itself is beautiful. Great location if touring the town and nightlife is for you. The rooms were spacious. Few cons to this trip: the service wasn’t great at the restaurants and neither was the food. Very small portions so ordering multiple courses is recommended. The rooms didn’t have many plug ins, and our fridge was slow at being replenished 2/4 days, especially for the water. Other than that the pool is lively, but very confusing to get to as it’s in a separate building from the rooms and some restaurants.

I found the layout to be very odd for an All Inclusive resort in Cabo. I have stayed at two other properties in Cabo and this was my least favorite. The service was excellent however, the food moderate at best with very small portions, but the thing that surprised me was the small pool and no swim up bar. The "fun" pool and buffet were quite a distance to get to, especially after a long day in the sun! Extremely odd layout but overall a decent experience as the best part of the resort was the location.

the hotel is located right on the Marina in downtown Cabo San Lucas with some rooms having a marina view, and some with an ocean view. It has one of the few swim-able beaches in Cabo, and is close to all the action. It's kind of a 'party' atmosphere with the rooftop patio and pool, DJ playing every night, and unlimited drinks... which really wasn't what WE were after, but looked like people were having fun. The location however, is hard to beat.

We had a great time nice to have the ocean on one side and the marina on the other . Everything you want on a holistic. The staff was amazing always so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and always clean .

Everything was good we loved everything about the resort and we loved are room very nice we would recommend this resort to everyone. The beach was alright they do a good job on getting the seaweed out.

We stayed in the exhale section of the resort. was exactly as promised, nice and quiet. The good: Resort was beautiful, rooms were nice and roomy, food was great. resort wasn't overly big so it was easy to walk to everything. Entertainment was really cool. Pools were great, and each one has it's own vibe, party, energetic or relaxed (relaxed is only for xhale). if you stay in xhale make sure you do the hydro therapy sessions, it was super cool experience. It's also very close to the airport so that was convenient. The bad: Even though they are always working on clearing the seaweed, there was always sea weed in the ocean so not many people swimming in the ocean. There were a few hiccups like the room key not working, or the ipad in the room not working, but they concierge was pretty quick to fix those issues. we didn't get turn down service or our fridge refilled everyday, but we just called down (for the fridge part at least) and they sent room service up to fill it. also fridge wasn't very cold and that seemed to be a constant complaint for lots of people staying there. Although they advertise as all included (including tips) make sure you tip, you get better service. we even had one staff at the buffet complain about us not tipping him (we forgot our cash in the room that morning) The ugly: not a resort you want to go to if you are into water sports. we couldn't snorkel because of all the sea weed, you could kayak and paddle board and got to go on a little sail boat which was fun. no scuba center or anything like that so definitely not the place if you want to scuba or snorkel. Tips if you stay in Xhale: Make sure you get the bottle of champagne and the 200 ml bottle of belvedere vodka they promise on the website. ( we had some difficulty getting it, had to call down several times) take advantage of the hydrotherapy ( on the website it says once per stay but when we got there it was once per day so that was a nice surprise). you are also supposed to get a beach bag in your room that you can keep so make sure you get that, it's kind of cute) overall a nice resort but i wouldn't stay there again.

Amazing resort with top notch service. Very high quality, clean and great food. Endless activities - the E team made things fun always. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone and will definitely be going back.
