Overall disappointing to see the hotel charged $50 usd a day for a resort fee when it had to do with housekeeping and use of the gym facilities and Wi-Fi when the housekeeping never came, even though we called a few times Wi-Fi was sporadic and who uses the gym when they go to Vegas? I also had an incident where the soap dispensers were leaking. when we arrived into the room, there was soap all over the bathroom floor and all over the countertop we had called to ask for someone to come and help clean it up and provide toiletries based on the soap that was empty. when we return to our room, there was a bag on the floor with supplies for us and more towels to clean it ourselves, the soap was not cleaned up. I tipped the front desk $40 US to provide us with a room that was joining and also a better view of the strip and we were given a room that stared right into the horseshoe. Overall. Disappointed.

Great location, center strip. Good access to Linq Promenade for affordable eats and pubs. Price was right. Other resorts have extra glitz but I prefer old school Vegas and Flamingo fit the bill. This was my 7th trip to Vegas and honestly this was my favourite hotel to date.

Great place!
Upon arriving for check in we were greated with excellent service by the staff. All were pooite and welcoming as well as very engaging with answering our questions. Check in was quick and efficient. Although we were about 1hr early for their recommended check in time, they found us a room abd off we went with bo extra fees. We were offered an upgrade, however kindly declined as we would not be spending much time in the room as our stay was for 3 nights. Once we made it ip to our room, we were pleasantly surprised, it was VERY clean and AC worked wonders! All the resort is clean throughout. Staff are exceptional, even with having guests smoking on/in resort grounds, there is very little odor to such. We have tried the food court, which is good for a quick bite, but we must highlight the service and food at Carlos’n Charlies’s, we kept returning!! All in all, we would return 100%! Very pleased with our stay!

Fabulous Resort!
Just returned from the Flamingo resort. My daughter and I were there for my Birthday June 15th - 22nd. We had an awesome time there!! The hotel was Awesome ? Everyone was so helpful. The rooms were clean and provided all the things that you needed. We stayed in a flamingo Room and had a lovely view of the Go Pool ? Our fridge kept our drinks super cold. Beds are comfortable. The wifi is super fast and the daily housekeeping service was very good ? Lots of towels and wash cloths daily, toilet tissue, kleenex, new cups and toiletries. You NEED to visit this hotel it was fantastic and on future visits I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!! Thank You Flamingo and Thank you Las Vegas for the most memorable vacation I have ever had !!!!

Hotel was ok
The rooms were nice, the staff not customer centered, I wasn't provided info on bell desk, waited in long lines to ask questions. Whereas other hotels the employees eager to respond and assist. Could not sit at poolside unless paid for seat, people reserved with towels and spent most of the day away from pool.

Mostly positive experience
The second night in Vegas my husband's wallet was stolen somewhere between our hotel elevator and a nearby restaurant. At first the lady at the front desk was helpful telling us we could use our room phone at no charge to cancel our credit and debit cards, etc. When I was having some trouble and went back to the desk for more help she became very rude like I'd already used my allotment of support and now she was just annoyed by us. The next morning when I went back to the front desk to ensure we weren't charged for the calls, another incredibly rude lady informed me that i was charged and there was nothing that could be done about it. She was instantly rude the second I walked up to the desk despite not having met me before or knowing why I was coming to talk to her. I was directed to talk to billing so I phoned them and they directed me back to the front desk. I managed to locate a manager who ended up being very kind and helpful. He was empathetic about out situation and removed all the phone charges from our bill. Lesson learned, don't bother talking to the front desk for help, go straight to management. Apart from the front desk the hotel was great. Very clean, really nice cleaning staff, nice rooms, beautiful pool and nice atmosphere. Great location as well on the older side of the strip.

Not impressed
Although the Flamingo is my favourite hotel, I was not impressed this time whatsoever. I had to argue with them 3 days in a row, to have them clean my room. It wasn’t cleaned nor were towels were brought in, and the garbage was not changed. The fire alarm went off during the last night before we left and the day before we were leaving, I ended up sick with the flu. 2 nights in a row people were screaming down the halls. I love the Flamingo but this time upset me. I will still go back because we’ve been so many times but it was not a good experience at all!

The trip was so affordable through TripCentral we couldn’t resist. The hotel staff at reception were great and upgraded our room at no extra charge. Really great view. Perfect location to access everything on the strip. Rooms were clean, pool was fun. Drinks are pricey so either bring extra money or get your own at CVS.

Fun resort and middle of the strip
The Flamingo is a smaller very central hotel. It's near all the great restaurants and beside the linq promenade. The casino is good. The room is clean and the bed was comfortable. Remember that this is a 3.5 star hotel. The carpet on the 22 floor hallway is a little big for the floor but who cares. I recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean & the bed was so comfy. Great view of the habitat from the 9th floor. I was charged 39.00 extra per day (x 4) for a resort fee that I wasn't aware of at the time of booking. So going to Vegas is out for us now cause it was more expensive than we thought. Food was over the top .....expensive.

Nice place
The Flamingo is an excellent location, attractive, well staffed and clean. The rooms are very nice. The bird sanctuary is not to be missed. The buffet is average, I recommend to avoid the coffee in the buffet. The resort fee is a little irritating. It included local calls but not toll-free calls. I got charge for a call when inquiring on the rewards card in the exact hotel. That drove me crazy but otherwise a great stay.

Great location, mediocre resort
The Flamingo Las Vegas was a comfortable enough hotel, but certainly not somewhere we wanted to spend a lot of time. The rooms are updated, but the beds are hard and there was mould in the caulking around the shower. We were not given the room we booked when we checked in, so we ended up changing rooms on our second day. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. Also upon checking in (at 7:00pm) we were harassed by staff wanting to sign us up for a tourism presentation that would give us tickets to a show. We were exhausted and just wanted to get settled. However, we did sign up. It was sold to us as a presentation over a nice breakfast - 2 hours maximum. The next day we went to the presentation and it turned out to be almost four hours and it was a high pressure sales tactic to get us to purchase a $20,000 timeshare. But, we did get Cirque du Soleil tickets out of it! The casino in the hotel is similar to the others. When you go to some of the other properties (the Mirage, New York, New York, the Venetian) you can see that the Flamingo has little to offer in terms of "flash". We were not there when the pools were open, so perhaps if that section of the resort had been open (we were there in January), it might have had a greater impact. We also had to pay the full resort fee of $40 a day even though the pools were closed. We had a very bad experience in the casino as my purse was stolen. That could happen anywhere. How it reflected on the Flamingo was how poorly the staff responded. I was very disappointed in their lack of care and concern for an event that basically ruined our vacation. It took calls from our travel agent to the hotel for any kind of gesture to be made to try and improve our trip. Overall, if you are just looking for a place to sleep and it's a cheap option, it's not terrible.

While there you can see the upgrades & construction that is happening. Going to be nice when finished. However.....they need to work on the rooms themselves. Not very happy about mold in the shower! Never felt clean after showering. Small detail for now, could be improved with a good cleaning. To be charged FULL price for the resort fees & not being able to go swimming was a let down. My wife and I have stayed here twice in two years. Very central, right beside the Linq promenade which is nice. recently we received a much better renovated room with much better view of grounds and pool Lots of smoke in the casino, not a surprise Food was good at the small shops. It was nice of them to offer a $10 food credit for not receiving housekeeping service but they did not credit our bill at check out like they said they would Service was quite good all around Wasn't impressed with the resort fee $40 US per day per room and the $15/ day internet charge for having a third party log on to their wifi. We had two rooms and teenagers messed up so it cost dearly. Everything is expensive so go to a grocer or walgreens/CVS to get snacks, water, beer etc

Flamingo Las Vegas - Sept. 1-5 2019
Room was good but really far and confusing trek from the lobby or elsewhere inside the hotel. Took 3 days to map it out to get around fairly easily. Location was central with a lot of other hotels in walking distance. Internet was insecure and very expensive ($39USD/night). Could not load yahoo mail most days. Slow internet on a PC. Did not eat inside the hotel during stay. Access to pool was through Security area, inspected all bags and wanded each person, had to have ID every time at pool. Flamingo needs better Security
Pros: Great location, right on the strip, has a pool (not free on the weekend) Cons: WATCH OUT FOR YOUR BELONGINGS. We got there late on Thursday night, safe was locked, but we didn't think it might have been locked on purpose, we assumed maybe it cost extra. The next day in the afternoon we noticed $500 were missing from my bag, which was put away in one of the cabinets. We left the "occupied sign" on the door thinking no one would get in the room. When we left, the cleaner was inside the next door so she must have seen us go out and leave the sign on the door. We left our room twice that day and in between that time, someone managed to go inside the room and take a portion of our money thinking we wouldn't notice anything missing. By the time we noticed our money was missing, we had already stayed in the room for 2 hours realxing and getting ready. We reported this to Flamingo's security right away last Friday and we haven't heard back anything yet. Last time we heard something, someone was being interviewed. We would be really disappointed if they get back with some lame excuse. I will continue to write a review on all platforms so that everyone is aware. It's really easy to get carried away as you are there for fun. After this experience, I kept looking over my shoulder and was suspicious of everyone. Btw., we told one of the security guards our safe doesn't open on Friday and his first reaction was that he didn't know what to do in this situation. He didn't even ask if we needed our safe unlocked. It wasn't until Sunday night when we asked another security guard who was kind to have our safe unlocked.

Room was extremely run down. Rust in tub, beat up bathroom door walls in room and halls were filthy and sheets were not cleaned our entire stay . Floors were disgusting. Carpet in hallway was lifted and caused tripping hazard .This is my 4th trip to Vegas and although I enjoyed the location the rooms were the worse I have seen in all my stays. A bit disappointed.
Having stayed at the Flamingo before I was a bit disappointed this time. Firstly, we could not get anywhere near the pool in the afternoons, they had an extremely load DJ playing very inappropriate rap type music full of swearing, you couldn't hear yourself think, the pool was full of drinking teens ( I felt the resort opens the pool to non patrons ) drinking and swearing and rough housing in the pool. Yet the resort advertises as a family oriented hotel, this was not enjoyable for families, kids, seniors etc. And our room service was unacceptable, no clean towels left, even though dirty taken so finally we had to leave a note to please leave clean towels, and garbage was never take out. When we left, garbage cans were over flowing. No clean glasses ever left. However, the service at that front desk was excellent, helpful, and very friendly. Next trip I will stay elsewhere.

Fantastic time!
Great hotel, staff was awesome! It was a little disappointing that we arrived at 4:30 PM after travelling all day to checkin and not have a room ready upon arrival. We had to wait approximately and hour and a half until out room was ready. Although the hotel did offer to upgrade our room to one that was ready, at a nominal fee per night. We didn't want to spend the extra money when our room would be ready in a couple hours. It was just an inconvenience. Other than that, everything was great!!

Great location!
We’ve been to Vegas numerous times in the past but this was our first stay at the Flamingo. We stayed in the renovated go rooms and we’re not disappointed overall with the amenities. That being said the bathroom door in our room was broken and it took 24 hours to get fixed. On the plus side though is the email concierge service with whom I communicated was so much more convenient than calling or visiting the front desk. The hotel grounds are beautiful and pool area tropical, However Gesse should be aware that to enter the pool not only do you need your room key, but you also need to bring photo ID for proof of age because after 2 PM it’s adults only. However she did tell me ID was required anytime of day. Unfortunately the front desk didn’t mention this when we checked in so after trekking down to the pool from our room which was not nearby, and only an hour before the pool was closing we found out we couldn’t get in and were very disappointed. The lineup for the buffet is incredibly long if you go after 9 AM so be prepared to wait... we bypassed it and went to Harrahs, ate and came back and saw people near the back of the line on the left we’re still waiting when we got back. So get up early if you want to eat at this buffet. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the pillows were nice as well overall it was a very comfortable room and a good sleep. I would however ask for a room that overlooks the pool next time as we were on the other side overlooking the LINC and weekend nights that is a party area and very loud. Even 21 floors up we could hear the music Thumping well into the early morning hours! Overall we would stay here again… The location can’t be beat...it is walkable to most things and close to the monorail...I love this part of the strip!!

Flamingo Las Vegas You don't get what you booked.
First and foremost the hotel is beautiful and clean. What I would like to say it if you think you book a room - you will not get it upon arrival. I booked a room for non-smoking; upon arrival I got a smoking room and it reeked of smoke. They said nothing available till 12-2 on the next day. I could not sleep, sick like a dog, my safey box I could not open and I did not know how to work the alarm. I cried on the phone to them about putting me here in this room. They could not do anything until something was available. So I had to come back to get the room and that also took time. What also we did not get told that there is a $35 dollar (plus tax) resort fee for each night. WHAT!! This gives you access to pool (which is closed and does not open till March) - we should not be charged that; Internet access on the TV (really) and then the gym and spa (they don't even tell you where it is located-never had a chance) plus the dog relief area (I have no dog). $35 is a total rip off...just something to charge you for. Then getting my room was a hassle too but they said the I was already compensated for the room being a smoking the night before. Then on Thursday, the last day there, I was told that if you buy a coffee (by now I have already bought 4 a day @ 4.09 each) that if you bring the cup back you get a refill for $1.00. WOW...again no one says that. The food is very expensive in the hotel. The front desk personnel gave wrong information about usage of computers and boarding passes. The only good thing that the room was clean and always enough towels. Staring the night on arrival getting a smoking room was the write off. I could go on even about the $35.00 - you should not be charged for things that you are not doing. The pool-closed-should be discounted during this time; the internet hardly used (charged per usage); the gym and spa - no time - separate charge for a pass; dog relief area (that too should be separate). I would really shop around next time because there are nice places just outside of Vegas. Sure you have to take a taxi but you still needed to take a taxi if you want to see shows down the strip. Hotel - forget it.

Great Location
The hotel is very clean, our flight was 2 hours late arriving and when we arrived at the hotel they told us there were no non smoking rooms available which is what we booked and confirmed. Took the smoking room for one night but what a mess of a room, the smell was so bad i couldn't sleep and and the little sleep I did get I woke up with a headache and felt sick most of the day. I was only the 26 floor and the hallways also stunk of POT from all the way trough. Was told a bell hop would transfer my baggage from room to room the next day and when I went to the front desk to get the new room no bell hop to help. The girl at the front desk was very helpful but I think if I pulled out more money for a upgrade then I would have go the non smoking room but they did not want to do it for free. I did receive a $25.00 food voucher for the mess up but tha next day waiting to get the new room messed up my day as I had to return to the hotel between 12 noon and 2pm to transfer rooms or it would no be possible. The resort fee they charge $39.00 is a rip off, its for internet, gym and pool. I did not use the gym I am on vacation that is the last place I want to be, also the pool is not opened until sometime in March as I was there the end of February. I would stay at this hotel again because if the location being in the middle of the strip and easy to get around by Monorail.

Love the Flamingo
Love the central location of the Flamingo on the strip and that a monorail station is a short distance from the hotel for any strip locations we care not to walk to. Always friendly helpful staff, nicely renovated rooms and of course the wonderful habitat with the flamingos!

Okay!
The hotel was amazing but when I checked into my hotel room the tap was running, the toilet seat was up and there was glitter on my floor and hand smudges on my mirror. They were amazing in making sure my stay was good and comped me in my troubles. The view of the strip was amazing tho.

Loved the Flamingo!
Our first trip to Vegas was amazing. The Flamingo hotel was beautiful. Our room was very modern and spotless. Amazing views, the staff were wonderful, the gardens and pool were beautiful. The location was great. The promenade was right outside the door with lots to do. The monorail was steps away and the food was great! We came for a friends wedding. All of the wedding guests stayed a different hotels. The Rio, Tresure Island, Bally's etc. In between the wedding and reception all of the guests came to the Flamingo to see the hotel and our room. All of them said we chose the best hotel and would stay at the Flamingo in the furture! Although this was our first trip to Vegas and there are many hotels to try next time, we will always stay at the Flamingo. We just loved everything about it! A big thank you to Candice Anger for booking this trip for us and making our first trip to Vegas an amazing experience!

Beautiful resort
From the moment we arrived there was a problem, 1. they had no standard rooms so we were offered an upgrade(at a fee of $30 per night) we accepted with no other option. We said we could not pay an extra $30 "oh well what can you afford(money grab. 2. The resort fee($35.00 per night) non nigotionable. 3. we got the run around on our room. !. they gave us a handicap room, 2. sent us to a room on the 9th floor and that area was under construction. "Sorry we sent you up the wrong elevator" We were exhausted by this time. Room was clean. The buffet was only open for breakfast.

Great resort
We had a wonderful time at the Flamingo Las Vegas. We have been to Las Vegas several times and always stay at the Flamingo. Besides being in the centre of the strip we spent most of the daytime hours in their fabulous pool area. The food and drinks were awesome and staff was always courteous.

A classic hotel.
We had a great room overlooking the strip. The hotel was clean and well maintained. We also appreciated the visible security on the property. We felt safe. The only issue we want to mention is the set up for WiFi on a daily basis. We found that inconvenient. Overall,I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Just an ok hotel with worn down rooms ? Much better places to stay on the strip for not much more $ or around the same ....check in was over 1.5 hours ??? Bathroom ceiling leaked water from room above the first night ....had 2 maintenance guys in the room at 2am ...not fun ...had too change rooms the next morning another 2 hour wait etc !

Nice place
Our room, (finally) was great. The hotel and area is great. Centrally located. Our room had a disgusting and clogged toilet when we checked in. It took 4 hours, 4 calls and finally a trip to the front desk to get the problem recitified. I was not impressed. Lots of people passing the buck as to why it wasn't done. I had paid at the desk for a room upgrade, after the desk visit, we were further upgraded To a suite which was a great room and finally made the trip worth it.

Is needing a little updating the tub tap ran all night the first night, they were really good at replacing it the following day but still dripped we were in the old part of the hotel, Thank goodness the wedding couple were in the newer updated part.
Staff was good and restaurants were ok, but there is so many around we didn't eat there much. I think if they lowered the prices a bit would attract more people. We ate at the Hash House next door a few times, was Fantastic food with reasonable prices and we had left overs to take to the homeless..........was a better bang for our dollar

FLAMINGO LAS VEGAS
Flamingo is an amazing resort the grounds and rooms were great and service was amazing. The only issue we had was checking in and out. The line ups are long and wait time is ridiculous, they need to streamline this. We were there 5 days and the line ups for checking in and out were long everytime we walked by. I have stayed at the Flamingo 6 times and would recommend it, only issue is checking in/out

Love the Flamingo
The only negative thing we have to say about the Flamingo is the Checkin/ checkout, it is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced, the wait time is ridiculous, they really need to figure out a better system, this will actually make us look for another hotel the next visit, which is too bad because the actual hotel itself is wonderful, the outside grounds are absolutely beautiful, this time we opted out of maid service, the restaurants were great

Flamingo Hotel
Hotel situated in the middle of the strip, walking distance to many featured hotels. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food at the buffet (Paradise) very good. Not a lot of "deals" to be had on the strip. Food and beverage tend to be pricy. A part from standard souvenirs, not a lot to purchase, at least I did not.

Last Time
From the start, the check in for the ordinary folk is a long wait in line, unless you are platinum or diamond. Asked if we could be on the same floor as our friends and apparently all they had was upgraded rooms on that floor and had to be 12 floors below. Was asked by check in staff if I wanted to fore go the first 3 days of housekeeping, but didn't even consider it for what we would receive in discount. The room was spacious and had a nice view, but was right beside stairwell and service room and with the paper thin walls, you could hear everything. The saving grace was that you are not in your room very much. The serving staff were very friendly with the exception of one of the bar staff. We enjoyed the casino and the couple of restaurants in the hotel, but would likely stay next door next time as the location is great on the strip, but the hotel needs to be updated for everyone.

We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we checked in! Someone came to the lineup and took us to a kiosk instead of waiting. Checking out at kiosk was very fast also! The rooms are okay, but bathroom is dated. Lots of fun in casino, but the pool area is hard to find and too far away once you leave hotel area.

Average Resort
Hotel is average along with the rooms. Check in was long and to check in before 1 pm was an additional $30 dollars on top of the $30 dollars you pay a night. Drinks while playing slots was very slow in you got served at all. Pool area was good and Charlie's and Carlos restaurant was good as well. Hotel is very busy but in a good location. 3 stars on average.

Not great
Check in was fine, room was dated , sheets were bleached to make you feel itchy, room cards stopped working night one it was about 1.5 hours to get it fixed, safe wouldn't open( faster response to repair here), just didn't seem to be maintained good enough. I would spend a few more bucks next time to upgrade if that's what a fab deluxe European plan get you! Staff were good , pools are great, location is nice and central.

Great Location, average Hotel
This hotel was perfectly located and it was easy to get around. The Linq promenade was great and the view from our room (19th floor ) was incredible!! But the lobby and casino wasn't that great compare to the other hotels. We mostly played and went to see shows in other hotels such as NYNY, Mirage, MGM. I would probably go back there if it was a free stay but I think it would be worth it to spend a little more and go to another hotel. Taking the bus saved us tons of walking and it was the best bus service I have seen, we never had to wait more than 4-5 minutes at the bus stops.

Very Disappointing
My husband and I have just returned from staying at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Check-in was fine, the room very plain but clean. We came to our room at midnight to find it wasn't made up one night. The bed was stripped the pillows were on the floor and the clean sheets on the dresser, after making four phone calls about this, I made the bed at 1am myself. This was disappointing as we'd paid extra for an up grade, so not worth it at all !

Mid-strip hotel nut not msny bells and whistles
Rooms we had were basic with no fridge or coffee maker but could upgrade for $25/day morewhich we opted out as we already had a $30-$40/day for misc fees. Grounds were nice but lots of restrictions with what you can bring at the pool. Took the good with the bad...being mid-stripped made it worth it. Next i would pamper myself and stay in a more luxurious hotel😀

Somewhat disappointed...
Beware of the unrenovated rooms. We were given one and it was deplorable. The faucet was leaking, the sink was cracked, the curtains were dirty and even the picture frame had a substance running down it. We obviously requested a new room, however none of the GO rooms were available, which are the newly renovated ones. We were given a maid inspected room which was ok but still disappointing. Definitely upon booking only choose a GO room.

Perfect, high energy hotel
This hotel was great, with a few minor disappointments. The rooms were old and outdated, but if you're in your thirties, and looking to have a great party, and the room doesn't matter, this is the place. I was here for a bachelorette party with six girls. Food is expensive but that's expected. Drinks at the GO pool were also overpriced. Security is very strict at the pool. (No liquids, gels, no Tylenol, no eye drops) so forget about "sneaking in a drink!" lol. The hotel is central on the strip. We enjoyed it.

Great hotel
Good lay out and good service ! I'd definitely come back to the flamingo ! The room was cool , really represented the hotel name. Cool how you can smoke in the casino. Service for checking in and checking out was good, no complaints there! Out of my whole trip the only thing that was confusing was the airport bus shuttle, nobody was there to pick us up or takes us back. We had to pay for a taxi even though our itinerary said it was included. That was the only down fall which was minor. We asked the front desk and they said we had to pay so that was weird. Good food, stores, casino, service and clean rooms with good channels.

The hotel did not have our non smoking king room available our first night so had to stay in smoking room that night. One of the non smoking rooms for our group wasn't available until a few hours after we got there around 11pm. When check in is 3pm, you'd think our rooms would have been ready.

Flamingo 😞
We stayed at the flamingo 3 yrs ago and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it... But not this time. We booked a fab deluxe room and it was anything but desirable. The shower faucet leaked. The wallpaper in the bathroom was about 25 yrs old and peeling off the walls. The dresser drawers wwouldnt stay shut and kept rolling open. The TV convertor didn't work properly and had the battery cover missing. The TV was staticy and couldn't watch many channels. It was very UNDERSIRABLE. I don't imagine we would book through this hotel ever again. Lady at desk during check out was very snotty and unfortunately it just wasn't a good experience.

Ideal Location and Reasonable price
The Flamingo is great hotel for anyone looking for a something right in the middle of the strip at an affordable price. Most of the rooms have been recently updated. With that said, I wouldn't call the Flamingo a luxury hotel. Bathrooms are very small and water pressure is very poor. The newly added bars/restaurants between the Flamingo and the Linc have also made some of the rooms pretty noisy.

Attractive Hotel Lobby
The Flamingo Hotel is quite nice looking upon arrival. It has a huge casino, several fast-food places and a dine-in steakhouse. I arrived at the hotel at 12 midnight and waited in a line-up, that got longer by the minute. for 45 minutes to check in. There were 4 people on duty that quickly became 2 people, even though the line-up kept growing. The diamond guests always got taken care of immediately as they arrived, no matter how long others waited. There was no coffee maker in the room and I assume that was so they could sell you a hot drink or even hot water in a cup, downstairs at the cafe. My room needed renovations in the bathroom. There was a hole in the ceiling above the bathtub, mould in the vent in the tub area and paint and wood rot on the door and ceiling. The bed and linens were very comfortable. I was on the 19th floor but still heard the music and racket from the casino below well after midnight every night. When I asked for compensation in the way of waiving some of the resort fee for the lack of sleep each night, I was told "that's Vegas for you".

Location is great
Stayed at Flamingo Las Vegas which is right in the middle of the Strip hotels. Check-in took an hour. Never told what the resort fee included. Felt like here's your key, goodbye. Room was on the 27th floor with a fantastic view of the habitat below. However room needed some updating. Very tired looking. Lampshade had holes in it. Bathroom was average. Housekeeper did good job and was friendly. Room doors closed noisily which isn't good. very early in the morning. Casino very noisy compared to other hotels. I did like the massage chair therapy in the lobby. Great after spending time at the casino.

Good for the price
Great location right in the middle of the strip. The rooms (we had a "Go Room") were basic but functional and fairly stylish. We did have issues with the bathroom door coming off it's tracks. We had to ask 3 times for it to be fixed and it then came off the track again before we left but it wasn't a huge issue. We did have to pay a large resort fee that came to almost $100US for 3 nights but because we had gotten such a good price for the trip we weren't too upset. Be prepared to pay for everything including early/late check-out. Also the pool is very adult themed with a DJ every day, a long lineup and few options for loungers that are not cabanas which they charge for.

Fantastic value for the money. Great location. Loved that the resort was on a monorail stop. View was amazing !
We had a fabulous time at the Flamingo ! Great value for the money. We would stay there again. Only issue, which was not a big deal, was with the elevators. They seemed old, and in need of repair. A couple were not working, which slows things considerably. Other than that, it was a great facility! Not fancy, but affordable and clean. Plus, we were never in our room, so why pay more !
