The hotel was on a great beach that was clean and the water was beautiful. It is a smaller hotel which made it quick access to the pool and the beach. There were always chairs to use. The pool area was great and the lobby area was really nice with a great view of the ocean. All the games were fun and we used them nightly (pool tables, ping pong tables, jenga) There was plenty of food available from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The food was good and had some, not a lot but some, variety at mealtimes. The food in the restaurants were good and luckily we had 8 people to be able to make a reservation. However, the restaurants were only open certain nights and the one night we had 6 people we had to wait 2 hours to get in. I think it would be easier to make reservations for everyone rather than wait in line to see if you get in. The staff were friendly but some of them not quick movers. A couple of times at the pool bar, they were talking amongst themselves rather than asking us if we wanted anything. We wanted to use the tennis courts but when we went to use them there was sand on the playing areas so we asked at the desk if we could get a broom and clean it. The desk advised they would have someone clean it. It took over a day and half for the courts to be ready to use... The staff were accommodating. The entertainment staff tried hard to get people involved during the day and nightly. However, there were not a lot of people present. I am not sure if there were not many guests because of time of year or the guests went elsewhere for the evening or just went to bed. I would say the average age of the crowd was middle aged. There was easy access to information and booking for any excursions and the staff were informative regarding local questions, such as bus into town etc. The hotel is beside the casino hotel, Baha Mar, and it is easily accessible with a directional path through the beautiful grounds of Baha Mar. Every part of the hotel was very clean!!!! It was a little run down in areas and outdated and some things didn't work well. The only thing that I had issue with were all the birds outside in the pool area and the outside eating area. People could not leave food on the table for fear of the circling birds coming and taking your food. I am not sure what can be done about this as people throw food at them especially on the beach and near the outside grill. I enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you

I stayed at Breezes Nassau from March 11 to 15 2026 with a friend, and the resort delivered exactly the kind of carefree Caribbean escape we wanted. The beach was stunning—wide, soft sand and clear water just steps away. Multiple pools gave us options, from relaxed lounging to the lively swim-up bar where the drinks flowed all day. The Bahamian architecture added charm and a sense of place. Food was plentiful, especially the buffet, and the Italian à la carte restaurant was a highlight. Evenings were full of energy with a live band, a fun piano bar, and plenty of bars to explore. Overall it was vibrant, social, and easygoing—perfect for a fun-filled getaway. We met people easily, danced late into the night, and never had to worry about entertainment or drinks running out. It felt like a true all-inclusive experience done right. We would happily return again.

This resort was very good .We were very impressed with the cleanliness inside as well as outside. The bathrooms could use an update but other then that no complaints. The buffet , Asian and Italian restaurants were very good. Pool and beach wonderful. We will definitely return here in the future.

The beach saved our vacation and saves this resort. Didn't mind dated rooms but where the Breezes falls down is overall service/cheapness: can't get a good coffee (not even from cheap espresso/latte machine), ran out of strawberry daiquiris every day and no straws to drink them, no mojitos, not enough bar service generally.

Unassuming small hotel, not too busy. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Perfect if you want to avoid crowds. A bit dated, but very clean. Friendly staff. Fresh food, good selection. No reservations needed for a la carte restaurants, but you need to get in line early. Never any trouble finding a chair on the beach. Great value.

Unfortunately, our trip to the Breezes was terrible, our room was musty and very old and dated. The food was horrible and the service was terrible. We arrived on Thursday night and left to go to another resort on the Monday morning. We spent more time at the Hyatt BaHar then we did at the Breezes where we were staying. The fact that i had to spend another $2000 to go to another hotel was very very disappointing.

This resort is extremely outdated, limited drink options, the rooms are horrible, no water bottles in the room fridge, the showers ran luke warm - no hot showers or any water pressure. Bartenders and front desk staff were friendly. Gift shop manager alliyah extremely rude and servers for the limited restaurants they had, were rude, No friendly interaction whatsoever. Pools aren’t heated it’s freezing. All guests are much older crowd.

All is very good , except for the loud music and choice of music at pool side .Please play according to your clients .What I mean is +/- 80% of the folk there were above 50+ years of age and much of the music was for a much younger group , such as all the rap that was played.As well the MC , spoke way tooo much and it was too loud

The hotel is very outdated. Simple things I’ve never had an issue having in other resorts is bottled water in our room. Communication between the front desk and what I thought I was getting (I upgraded to beach front room with a butler) was inaccurate. The people in the restaurants and pool/beach staff extremely nice. We ended up either going into Nassau or going to Bahia Mar beside us to get half decent drinks. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place. Not worth the money I spent.

Spent 1 week here in January 2026 Pros: Weather was perfect; 24/25 C everyday, no humidity Beautiful white, powdery sand beach Huge pool with lots of lounge chairs, on beach as well Friendly, helpful staff Clean rooms, well maintained grounds Pool Grill was excellent! Fries, burgers, conch fritters all delicious! Cons: Hotel itself is older, rooms and furnishings older but clean Mattresses on beds very squeaky, but fairly comfortable Food at the buffet and the 3 restaurants was good however the system used to go to the restaurants was very poor. No reservations but first come, first serve, honour system. Your name was put on a list and you stood there until called not really knowing who you followed. And only one restaurant was open each night. There were 3 bars, only one had top shelf liquor and it didn’t open till 6pm. And some nights they ran out of vodka and liqueurs.

Breezes has a beautiful sandy beach with no debris. Since it was mid December and midweek it was not crowded or loud. We swam in the ocean but the pools were too cold due to stormy nights at the beginning of the week. Mattresses and pillows were fabulous.Buffet was good with many entree choices. Different salad every day. Pastries were especially good. Room had dated decor but only slept in it so who cares. Very clean. Attentive maid and front desk service. 35 dollar taxi ride to straw market. We did day trip to 'swim with pigs' do not recommend. Did day trip to Atlantis water park.

Place was very clean and spacious. Food was plentiful at buffet. Alacart restaurants were included and very delicious food. Beach had lots of chairs to sit on. Pools were large . A good variety of drinks were available at bars.

The resort was perfect for my daughter and I for a nice little break. Small resort that only took a few mins to get to the gorgeous beach was the highlight. Not a snazzy place, but very clean and simple, which is what we were looking for. We only tried the buffet and enjoyed the food. Especially liked the local food selections. Close enough to the "Fish Fry" near the resort to try for a dinner off the resort. Staff friendly and came quickly when we needed help with our room safe. We didn't explore the night life part so unable to share about that! We just wanted to get back to our very comfortable white fluffy beds after all day on the beach. The gym was a bit of a disappointment but there was one good elliptical and two treadmills we could use. It was enough to get a work out in. I would definitely go back, even go back by myself for a little break from daily life next winter. Trip Central made this booking very easy and I felt taken care of by the company. Thanks Breezes and Trip Central for a beautiful holiday with my daughter.

Yes, the structure and decor is dated, but in a way it was a bit of an interesting time capsule that carried its own inherent charm. We visited the same resort in the summer of 2016, and everything was still the same. The resort was generally quite clean, and our experience found all the staff quite friendly and helpful. We had no complaints about any of the food, though the selection was not as broad as we have experienced at resorts on other islands. All in all, the food was quite good and nothing to complain about. I would have to say the best feature of this resort is its beautiful beach. There are ample loungers for seating, and the beach staff will kindly provide sun protective umbrellas to those who want to limit their sun exposure.

I love this resort!!! The food is very good and they even have Taco Tuesday's :) The beach is well maintained and the pool is very nice to spend the afternoon in. And if you want they have a great hot tube.

Clean Resort, Friendly Staff, Good Food although facility could use some updating. Booking thru Trip Central easy and organized. Great opprtunity to participate in many excursions or events. Plenty of staff keeping up with grounds and housekeeping. Lovely opportunity to many great new people. Entertainment every night which waws fun!

Customer service was amazing and entertainment was great. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the outdoor food place. Didn’t get to try the ala carts. Drink service was also good. I Recommend some air purifiers for the rooms particularly the piano room!

The hotel was as very good, except that we did not get a King/Queen size bed. We had a double and my husband feet was hanging over the bed we ask the next morning but still did not get any Also we had no travel back to the airport, had to get my daughter to call you for confirmation, Was very confusing trying to get info on it Otherwise the holiday was very enjoyable, but would not go back in February as the water was very cold. Maybe April and after would be good thank you so much for your help whenever we need it

Food excellent rooms great and staff are fantastic ? close to shopping abd in walking distance to the casino. Beach is very close and a great place to ? relax. Have been to this resort several times and never disappointed.

Much of the hotel was in disrepair. Burnt out lights all over and when things ran out, like coffee in the coffee machine in the buffet area it was not replaced for the remainder of our trip (4 days) When we first checked in the whole hotel did not have running water. Our original hotel rooms tv was broken so we requested a new room. New room was missing a shower head so we requested another new room and the room we got put into was also missing a shower head. So we settled for the third room and made the best of it. Parts of the hotel were so cold from the a/c you had to wear sweaters to be comfortable. Often you were unable to get hot water in the showers. At one point we asked for our sheets to be replaced because we found a yellow stain on them, when we got back to our room we noticed that the sheets had not been replaced (yellow stain still on the sheets in same place) so we called down to the front desk and asked for them to be replaced again.Two maids came to our room and replaced the sheets while loudly talking passive aggressively about how they had replaced the sheets earlier while we were in the room with them.Bar staff was most likely over serving liquor as there were two occasions where we heard people fighting so loudly in the hallways in the middle of the night to the point where authorities had to be called. Other than these issues we had a good time at the hotel. Most of the staff was very friendly and tried their best to be accommodating consider the situations. The area that the hotel in is very convenient being a short walk to a local bus stop yet still close enough to downtown that you are able to walk back along the beach.

Breezes hotel is rustic however, the overall service is good and what really makes it all worth it is the beach. Yes, the beach!! By far the beach is the best we have ever experienced in the Caribbean which is why we start every morning with a day break walk with ocean splashing on our feet while being massaged by the silky sand. It's highly recommended to take short trips to town which cost $1.25 each on perfectly safe AC public transit to experience how Bahamians live, see the cruise ship pier and craft market. Cabs cost around $30 each way. We stopped by “Fish Fry” restaurant area on our way back to try local seafood dishes at Goldies by the sea. We also walked across to the Baha Mar luxury casino which has a safe garden path connected to the Breezes. Breezes hotel is due for an update however, the food, service and the amazing beach makes up for it. The white silky sand all-natural beach is addictive and is worth every penny we paid to experience it.

I'm surprised this place is still open, been going here for yrs because of it's proximity to Bahamar and it's reasonable price. Just got back a few days ago.. The place is run down. Staff was rude. Same food for dinner every day we were there.. Beer was unavailable quite a few times.i visited the one and only bar that's open til 6 pm.. Never had daiquiri mix also when my gf wanted. Staff kept coming up with excuses why nothing is available. Every time we wanted to get ice for some water. It as you guessed was unavailable. Seen a cockroach by the elevator on the main floor. Will not be going back.. They only thing this place has going for it is the beach..

If I could give a -10 I would. 1st.put on 8th floor next morning fire alarm .I have as you know 2 new hips I'm not about to walk down 8 flights of stairs 2nd.was moved to 4th floor where I had Bugs in my bed.Called Carla night manager she come up saw them said their not bed bugs and their red ants and don't bite.i told her I don't care I paid to much to stay here.She ha 2 housekeeping with her they took sheets off comforter off , brought new sheets for my bed and supposedly new comforter but I knew they only put it in dryer felt warm .Carla said should be good but as soon as she went in elevator saw them again on comforter called back down she come up saw them and said I moving uou again.Moved to 3rd floor no bugs just mold in bathroom as a matter mold in hotel everywhere.No fridge in room no bottled water ...you had to buy at their store. I fell coming in to the dining room through door.Sober.I went flying bruised my ankle and above...bruised knee...and hurt my wrist.I paid for ocean view got half a view.I never had to pay for the room we were in.This was my 5th time there ..it's gone to he'll...hugely disappointed.Never will return I would like some money back as it wasn't worth the money . Very decent resort, good value for money for Nassau. Me and my husband were lucky to attend when there were not many people and our room was upgraded without any request from our side to ocean view room. When resort was built, it meant to be luxury. Our spacious room was in a very good condition with glass wall and sliding doors opened to beach. Spacious bathroom was with granite countertop and shower with granite bench and two shower heads. Room was nicely and conveniently furnished. I would give the room 5 stars. Good cleaning service, very friendly and helpful staff. Fresh and tasty food. There was not huge choice of food, but it was more than enough. We visited only Eden Gardens restaurant and were not impressed by food and service, but interior was nice. Cocktails were below average. But the main thing - beach - was great with white soft sand and turquoise water. Unfortunately, when wind brought algae and it was on the sand, cleaning practically was absent comparatively to adjacent 5 star resorts. This is where 3 stars showed up. Music band and soloist were good. There were also a lot of games, billiards, tennis tables and tennis courts.

We had a great time at Breezes. Amazing staff, gorgeous beach, good food and entertainment! Was never disappointed with any postion of the vacation. Wish there were more cabanas for shade. Looking forward to booking another trip!

I've been to Bahamas several times over the last 20 years. This, by far, was a very disappointing trip. It was important to us to stay at a resort on the beach that is an 'all inclusive' experience. We booked ourselves into The Breezes understanding that it wasn't a 5 star resort, and that this resort caters to students who are on Spring Break. We knew what we signed up for. What we didn't anticipate was that this resort decided to house a bunch of young students who were attending some athletics event for a 4-5 day stay. This wasn't explained on their website. We would have never booked here knowing this. The resort was overrun by these kids who were loud and disruptive. I don't blame the kids - it was a fun holiday for them to experience, however, I do hold the resort responsible for the sub standard service we received as a result. Elevators were broken, we couldn't get anywhere near the buffet because it was overrun by the kids. (The kids were eating straight from the buffet and leaving the half eaten food back on the buffet - gross!) Kids were yelling and running up and down the hallways at all hours of the day and night. It was terrible. The resort itself is run down. Charging your phones, ipads etc is a hassle because all the outlets in the room are either behind the beds or the dresser. This meant that every day we had to pull the beds out from the wall to recharge our phones. At the very least I would expect that the resort would have power bars available for each room. Nope! We asked twice and were told that they were hard to come by. The service is super slow. I know we're on vacation, and on Bahama time, but this was beyond. If you ask for a coffee in the morning, it showed up 15 min later, and without any cream or sugar. It would take another 10-15 min to get the server to return with the cream, and by that time the coffee was cold. Food was sub-par. I mostly ate salad for 10 days. Tipping at the pool bar is a must otherwise they will just ignore you. I clued into this about 3 days in and as soon as I started tipping, then they would notice me. No tip = no service. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the beach was nice. Unfortunately that's not enough for us to come back another time. I would definitely NOT recommend this resort.

Very pricey but the people are so very nice and friendly. I think Bahamian people are the most nicest respectable people in the Caribbean. I would reccomend anyone who has not been to bahamas to go.

i didn't enjoy the fact that we had no fridge in our room very inconvenient, food was pretty good, the resort itself was in good shape, they ranout of certain drinks the first couple od days. but overall had a great time.

Very clean resort , beds are comfortable, food is decent enough as well , no fridges in the room seems odd , so guests have to bring a decent water bottle for ice water thru the night . Rental fridge for $12 a day to hold your water seems not worth it as they don’t bring u water , pop or beer for room , beach n pool are best features

The resort provided the activities that I wanted to do in an all-inclusive vacation. Access to a beautiful beach with lots of space to lounge around, access to pools for a leisure swim with music and a DJ. Convenient buffet hours and able to order drinks easily. Some choice of activities like table tennis, and pool tables. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in some disrepair. The palapas have holes in the roofs and it’s sometimes difficult to get an umbrella for shade, and the elevator doesn’t work. The restaurant options are limited but the food is good and a good variety. The house band is a lot of fun. And Funky D gets everyone involved and dancing. The beach is fabulous and the water crystal clear.

The lobby needs a refresh but we didn’t Let that impact our experience, the beach, the staff, the food was great for the price! Water facing rooms are in much better shape than the garden/roof top view rooms. Day trip including scaribe motor Boat feeding Iguanas, sting rays, sharks and pigs in a private beach with fantastic staff food and drinks beat any party catamaran snorkel trip in Mexico Cuba and DR and we’ve done many!

The hotel is older but well cared for, the maintenance guys were on the go constantly, trimming bushes and bleaching patios. The maids were awesome, they cleaned and disinfected our room everyday. The recreation staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and entertained🙂 (shout out to my friend D’von) bar staff was so friendly and willing to make any drink we requested. Food was phenomenal, very clean and mask wearing was strictly enforced at the buffets. I highly recommend this place for the middle class travellers who want to visit the beautiful Bahamas.I can’t wait to return.

The resort was on the old side but the staff was very good. The meals were great with lots of variety. The staff treated everyone wonderfully. We felt very safe with Covid as the staff is tested weekly all safety measures were met. Larry and Devon were great on the Entertainment and activities. I will be definitely returning for another stay.

Resort: Clean and provided all the necessary amenities. Nothing fancy Restaurants: Buffet - Good but nothing special. The setup wasn't done very well. There is only one line to get food. This caused large wait times. A La Cartes: Very good Beach Restaurant: Very good Bars: Only one bar is open during the day. Huge lineups. But servers did their best to furnish. Nightly bars: Lobby - Good Piano Bar: Good Beach: Bad weather caused a week of red flag. Wasn't very nice. Can't really give a proper review. Service: Excellent, this is what makes the resort standout. Everyone tries hard to please the guests. No complaints here. Rooms: Good, provided a clean place to wash and sleep. Overall: Weather didn't help make this a memorable trip but there were many repeat customers so I guess this speaks for itself. As for us, it was decent, provided the necessary relax time but we will not be returning. Not because we didn't like it only because we have been to other destinations that we prefer.

Everything about the facility met our expectations, location, staff, cleanliness, food / meals, etc good value for the price. Located within easy commute to downtown for shopping we enjoyed travelling by bus which provided reliable and economical transport. We came away totally satisfied with our vacation and would highly recommend this resort.

Resort is old and could use a little uplift however rooms are clean, food is excellent and staff is beyond amazing! Beach is beautiful and great for walking. Evening entertainment a bit redundant, piano bar sing alongs great ! Buffet great quality of food and variety very good. Three Restaurants on site all very good however you are not able to prebook so you need to go early to get in line for the first setting or wait for the second. That aside we had a wonderful week and I would definitely return!!!

The resort is the gem of the bahamas. The room are nice and the staff are great at looking after you. The pools are very nice and one of the few resorts with a large hot tube. Everthing is close and the entertainment is great. The food is in a word wonderful. This is worth a second look for heading on vacation. I love this resort.

This is a great place to stay. It is close to most attractions and the people here are friendly. The pools are not heated so be aware if visiting in January. The restaurant staff are courteous. The bar staff are very friendly.

We stayed at Breezes and the beach and ocean were amazing! We spent alot of time off the hotel grounds....swimming with pigs, sharks, snorkeling and going into downtown Nassau and walking over to Atlantis. As far as the hotel...we have many times gone to Mexico where the people are so warm and friendly and welcoming. We did not feel this at the hotel from about 80-90 percent of the staff. In the buffet we would have to get our own cutlery and water as the females who worked there preferred to just talk to eachother more than take care of their guests. Rarely did we feel welcomed or get smiles. If we did get good service we absolutely tipped and in the end saved alot of money on tipping due to their behaviors. Our room was nice...there are no balconies here at all..but it was clean and that's what matters. Our mid way fabulous and was tipped well. They should not advertise they have wifi as it is so spotty everywhere ...there was no place it actually worked and stayed working. There is lots to do at the hotel if you wish to participate. The entertainment staff really worked on that. The pools are not heated and are freezing and not maintained well...so don't plan on swimming in them unless you like cold water that seagulls have been in and flying over all during meals. The food was good. Something for everyone. Italian restaurant was amazing but the only one we got to go to as you have to line up 30-45 minutes before they open to get a table or go back an hour and a half later and try to get in. The restaurants rotate as to what is open when it would be easier and less lineups if they were all open. We always make the best of every situation and had a great time. We did many adventures away from the hotel and those were our best times. We did not find it noisy but we were up in a higher room facing away from the hotel. This is definitely a low 3 star resort which could be much better if the staff morale improved towards guests, they heated a pool and really had wifi. The location and beach are absolutely perfect. Also you have to get your own drinks all day, which was different for us. This hotel does not have anyone in the pool area or beach that serve drinks . If you rent a cabana for 50.00 you may get served ...but there is so much room on the beach a cabana is not necessary. Save the money and take excursions!

We have just returned from ten days at Beautiful Breezes. Spent most days on the beach except for the last few where the wind threatened to blow us away My favourite part of this resort was the absolutely enforced no smoking policy. It was amazing to not have to deal with second hand smoke and I appreciated how seriously security dealt with any offenders We spent most nights at the Italian restaurant that had the best service. Night one we did Garden of Eden and it was great, second try it was unbearably slow and we did not return. The Asian restaurant had great food and service but inexplicably the management insisted on the same big band song on repeat over and over and after an hour it was like being tormented. Would have returned but we could not deal with that again Music was loud by the pool but turned off promptly at 11:45pm which was fine. Loved that the two cats on the property were both fixed and cared for by staff Ventured to nearby zoo on the city bus and it was very easy to get there, staff very helpful in advising us on the process Would definitely return, despite the wind, well maintained resort and the staff were all amazing

This would be pur second time coming here. We absolutely love the resort, super clean, quiet, and the people make it paradise on earth. The employee are the key to making this trip super amazing, even though they lost our luggage and dropped our cell phone in the ocean and it's still good.

We just returned from 5 days at the breezes ... it was great! Close to the airport , amazing beach, very comfortable/clean rooms. The staff at this place were above and beyond.!! Very accommodating and attentive. We did a private dinner on the beach (witch I strongly suggest to do while your here) the food was beyond my expectations!! Delicious !! And the service from Carrol , our private server was perfect.! It was very romantic and beautiful. Had an amazing time at breezes .. we will be back.! And just a little shout out to Muna, thank you for making my trip so special!!

Had an awesome time. Close to everything. Food was great, service was great and beach was beautiful.rooms are spacious and had a great view. Took the number 10 bus outside the resort to downtown for $1.25. There’s a shuttle bus to take to the Baha mar.

This place was very good the food and service the cleanliness the beach the employes everybody went out of their way to make all the guests where looked after, the water at the beach is warm the beach is very clean all of the workers are very happy all day long ,always with a smile and a welcome to Bahamas we will be back for sure.

The hotel was a little dated but the friendly and fun staff definitely made me forget that! Food was good if you try the restaurants! Beach was heaven. My only complaint is that I wish I had stayed longer!

My experience at Breezes was absolutely fabulous! Grounds are well maintained, nice for walks. Beautiful beach! Clean pool area. The buffet and restaurants all have amazing service and quality food. Wordey was very helpful and kind! Godfrey at the pool bar is a man of many talents! A must to visit him for one of his specials!

We found this hotel to be the perfect spot for our girls vacation. We enjoyed the ocean cabana with beach butler service (extra$), the pool and swim up bar with drinks and entertainment provided by Godfrey - bartender extraordinaire! We enjoyed the included watersports activities, the piano bar, the amazing a la carte restaurants, the disco, the strolls along the beach and the amazing food provided at the beach hut and in the dining hall. The atmosphere at this hotel was so relaxed and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. It's not a fancy spot and is somewhat dated but we met so many amazing and friendly travellers here! It was the perfect spot for us!

Hotel was very clean and grounds were in excellent condition. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Only complaint was the young people on our floor partying and running through the hall ways at 3.00 am

The Breezes Bahamas is full of contrasts. The grounds and buildings are kept clean, but the underlying infrastructure is old and needs repair in places. This can be seen in the pool where the nosing stones and cement tiles are broken and in need of repair in spots. Same goes for the cement tiles on the walkways and pool deck. The furniture in our room was old, but the beds were comfortable. There are no fridges in the rooms unless you want to rent one, although all rooms come with a modern safe. The bathroom in our room had been refurbished sometime recently and everything worked well. TVs are ancient 32 inch LCD flatscreens and ours worked well, but we didn’t care as we weren’t there to watch TV. There is no supplied bottled water so we took a tip from a friend and brought a couple of bottles of water from Toronto and refilled from one of the water stations at the resort. The lobby, restaurants and entertainment area are kept in spotless condition. The buffet is small compared to other resorts we have been to, but the food was always good. The two a la carte restaurants we tried (Italian & Garden of Eden) were surprisingly good. Two types of beer - Kalik and Sands Light - both quite acceptable. Liquor tends to be cheaper, local stuff at lobby and pool bars. The top shelf brands can be found at the Piano Bar. Probably one of the best features about this resort is the location on Cable Beach. The beach here is white sugar sand, nice and wide. Seems to be lots of shade umbrellas and tikis available. There is also cabanas on the beach that can be rented on a daily basis, and they come with butler service. Ocean water is warm and the views are spectacular. There is no fighting the “cruise” crowds for space like the madding crowds on Paradise Island where the cruise ships dock and off load every day. The Breezes is a small resort so the pool, beach, bars, buffet, rooms and entertainment are all within a very short walk. If you do want to venture off the resort, there is a large casino next door at the Baha Mar, a small straw market just down the beach behind the Melia Resort, or you can take the #10 bus for $1.25 and explore the large straw market and shops in downtown Nassau. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at the Breezes Bahamas, felt that it was good value for our money and will return in the future.

Awesome resort, the front desk staff are accommodating, the entertainment staff are super friendly and personable, there are so many things to do on location, the beaches are amazing! We would definitely go back!

The resort was clean, friendly and awesome location! The food was really good, we never went hungry. Everyone was happy and having a good time...staff included! Only 15 minutes from airport and shuttles to downtown were easily accessible.

Just got back from a fantastic holiday at Breezes. It was a short vacation but we enjoyed it thoroughly. We travelled with Sunwing. Unfortunately there is ALWAYS an issue with Sunwing flights and it was no different this time. We left 2 hours late because the fuel wasnt properly balanced. We were already at the runway 45 minutes late and about to take off when they happened to notice this!! Also they only had enough customs cards for about 2/3 of the passengers so the rest of us had to wait until we got off the flight, to find a table, borrow a pen etc. No apologies of course just it was the fuelers fault and its Bahamas fault. Once we arrived at the resort it was a very long wait to check in. Close to an hour. Even with these problems we were set for a great time and did just that. Lots of reviews say this resort is dated but we didnt find that at all. Service was good, food was great, the beach was beautiful and our room was nice. We would definitely go again!!

The hotel is old, but clean and well maintained. The beach is beautiful and that is only few minutes walk from the hotel. The Nassau downtown is a 10-15 min bus ride and buses are very frequent. That was our second time at Breezes and for sure we will go again.

Comfortable resort located on Cable beach. The grounds are well kept and the rooms are comfortable. Specialty restaurants are very good. Beautiful beach. Resort is 10 minutes from Nassau accessible by the local bus that stops in front of the hotel.

The best part of the hotel was the entertainment committee, they made the hotel. They kept people active during the day with activities and into the night with entertainment on the stage. The hotel should be proud to have this wonderful group of young adults.

We first went to Breezes in 2012 and loved it! We decided to go back Jan 19-26 and it was even better than the first time! The people are still amazing and the location couldn't be better. We really enjoyed the food at the restaurants. We tried all 3 and were very impressed, especially with the steak! If you go to Garden of Eden, make sure you get Adam's Loin for an appetizer, so good! Amazing staff at all of them but would like to mention great service received from Alvano, Mark and Shelly! New to us this trip was the beach cabanas. They are an additional charge of $50/day but come with a beach butler who will bring you drinks and food all day long. G was amazing and made sure we never were without a drink, even bringing them before we asked. Brittney was also very good and attentive. The weather was a little cooler a couple of days so we brought our party to the hot tub and had a blast! Met so many great people from all over!! We went to the casino at the Baha Mar next store and it was amazing! Free drinks while gambling and they are very strong with high end liquor (the only downside of Breezes from the last time we went is the quality of the liquor). Even if you don't gamble, you should still go check out this hotel. It is beautiful, but very pricey :) The shuttles go back and forth from Breezes every 15 minutes. Would definitely go back to Breezes!

To start the weather wasn't good when we arrived. The first 4 days were very windy and off and on rain. The last 3 days were sunny. We had a ground floor pool view with terrace which we asked for. Bed was comfy. Room could have used a really good cleaning ie: drapes, sheers & floor around the baseboards. Food was good. Beautiful beach. They could use a beach bar as there is only 1 bar around the pool. Wish they would use reusable plastic cups instead of the disposable ones. We brought our own cups. They went all out on the New Years party with live band and Junk a Roo parade. All in all we made the best of it. You can tell this resort is geared for the spring breakers. Would not return to this resort. Maybe if the weather had been better I would have given a better rating.

We wer pleasantly surprised when we arrived.. More than we expected as from previous reviews we had the impression it was a dated hotel It isn't..maybe they had renovations..but it is beautiful..nit luxury But for the price ..(time of the year, Christmas) it is worth it Place was clean..staff and service were excellent , room was lovely eso the pool n of an view room. Entertainment was awesome Beach is great (dirty waters but we were told it was due to the recent bad weather (stormy) Food was plentiful and mostly good Only disappointment was on Christmas Day we were expecting a Lille more specialty dishes ..festive I don't drink alcohol but our 2 girls enjoyed the bar .. The outdoor grill was great..fresh food All in all it was a great mini vacation and I can't wait to go again Ps 1 small thing, we were hungry when we arrived as out flight was late afternoon and by the time we checked in, it was after 10 pm so we were hungry and had no dinner. We had to wait until 12 midnite for the 'snack' Had we known we won't have had dinner upon arrival we would have purchased dinner on flight

The location, the beach, the staff, the variety and quality of the food were amazing for the cost of the trip. Thrilled to have all the water sports included especially the hobie cats. Hope they never change that. Loved having a 4 day holiday. How quick the transfers to the airport were. Beach and water superb.

The beach: AMAZING! The room: comfortable and clean The resort: small and cozy feel The staff: very friendly The activities/facilities (like water sports, tennis, pool) - friendly staff to help - highlight was our tennis lesson! The food: For foodies it will fall very short of the mark - but if you don't care much about the food, and you're looking for volume in lieu of flavor or variety, there will be no issues for less picky eaters! The entertainment: we didn't participate in any of the shows or the late night bar scene Location: As mentioned the beach was great - also a very short drive to the airport, and very easy to take the bus into Nassau to look around (I wouldn't bother booking a tour - as it's so easy to get to town and walk to all of the tour spots)

The hotel was clean and the grounds were clean. The place is dated but it looks like it's going under renovations. The staff were friendly and the food was okay. We left the resort every night and took the shuttle to bahamar for entertainment.

I truly and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Breezes Hotel!! So clean and staff is friendly. Food was so good and the pool is fantastic!! Amber at the front desk was amazing!! I didn't want to come home but I will definitely be going back!!

A good, solid resort for a bargain price. Not as flashy as some othe other Nassau resorts. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Food was decent. Staff was friendly. Beach is excellent. Pools are well maintained. Certainly not the best resort on the island, but possibly the best value. Minor complaints. A problem with an elevator took a couple days to repair. Causing some minor delays. We could not get a late night snack option.. Would have liked something after the entertainment. Added bonus. Very close to the new Baha Mar casino.. a free shuttle comes every 15 minutes. The Casino is beautiful place to visit!

Food wasn't good. Went off resort to find good food because I wanted at least one good meal. Drink selection was very limited and not good. Beach was ok, tons of seaweed though. Staff was generally friendly. There's a grill right beside the pool so there are seagulls constantly trying to take your food.

I went on this trip with my boyfriend and we had a fantastic week! The people that work at the resort are amazing. Now, I read that review before I went and didn’t think anything of it... but we actually made friends there and will miss everyone! Resort is smaller and very cozy. The only thing I would caution is we forgot to put money in the safe our first day and some was taken from a backpack. Please use the safe!

Rooms - to begin with the rooms i would have to say really good. You can defiantly tell that the cleaning staff use proper soaps to clean the floors and around corners. it's smelt fresh upon entering the room each day. 2 negatives things that i did not like and should've seen to prepare is you get no mini fridge which i'm used to from Dominican and Jamaica getting free water, pops and beers ect each day to keep the thirst away. On top there was no water provided and in hot climates you need hydration which unfortunately you had to spend $5 USD per day for my wife and i for a 1.5L bottle. sometimes two per day. ALSO please people... if you go to a resort because of a world class room stay at home. you're there to enjoy weather and get a tan :) the rooms are nice and you'll be satisfied. Dining - breakfast, lunch and dinner had been pretty good. for the size of the resort i guess you could say food selection was decent. not to much but it had your mains like meats, pasta, rice ect.. Fruits always stocked and sweets. i'm not to complain about many options as taste was there. WE NEVER WENT to the A la carte restaurants as my wife was pregnant at the time and wanted to munch here and there. i did here good selections and enjoyment out of them tho. Italian was a nice one from people thoughts, maybe next time. Public areas - nice, VERY open. as soon as you enter to check in you can see the ocean and breeze coming in through the windowless areas. once again very clean and it being an open environment in the lobby area makes it feel nice and relaxing. Pool - pool was nice, big enough for the crowd there and you had space to swim around with the swim up bar. seating was nice, always a place to sit down and choose from. there was also a snack bar which served hamburgers, hot dogs / fries and other munchy foods. Beach - the best sand I've ever walked in! so beautiful and sea weed free on the resort area. Really relaxing laying in a hammock listening to the oceans waves. They did have these little shaded huts you could rent out for $50 a day USD but i didn't see the experience there when they'd just serve you drinks and get you food. nothing special or worth 50$ to me. getting up once in a while to grab a drink is nice to walk around. save your money. Plus if you need or want shade go under a palm tree which was more enjoyable for us and is free :) Overall - i would recommend this resort to others looking for a nice getaway small but has what you need we did walk the beach down to Melia and BahAmar resort and tbh... you're paying much more for something where #1 the price wont change the weather or conditions you're in and #2 if you want to spend 3-600$ more a person feel free but honestly you can enjoy yourself just as much as you can on the other resorts. it all depends what you go on vacation for. All in all do a little research before booking and i'm sure you'll make a great choice :) Bahamas was defiantly nice and relaxing, hope to return one day.

Overall, we had a great time but there were some things that could be improved. The resort itself needs to be updated. The decor is old, roof needs to be done etc. We upgraded our room to oceanfront instead of the oceanview we originally had and it was definitely worth it. The no tipping policy was great but unfortunately the staff seemed less motivated and the service was not as good as other resorts where tipping is allowed. No surprise though. Pools were clean and we were able to find loungers every day which was nice. Food was good not fabulous. Restaurants were better than buffet for dinner but overall pretty good. I wish they had a tea/coffee area for guests. The beach was amazing!!!!

Having been to multiple all-inclusive across the Caribbean this location gives you a lot of bang for your buck! We were looking for an inexpensive girls get away and that what we got! The location is close to the airport and the layout of the resort is great. Not a large property so convenient to get around and other than one very busy day chairs were available at beach every day and no line-ups in the buffet. The food was great and a reservation were not required for the ala crates. The staff were always friendly and service was great. No balcony was a disappointment Also there are no fridges in the room and a lack of easily accessible drinking water was a concern. You had to go to the bar for water and when it was closed there was no place to get water? This resort caters to March Break students and with the heat and the alcohol consumption I think this resort really needs to look at solution for this matter!

Breezes is indeed an older resort The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable , very disappointed that there were no Balconies, nor fridges and water available in rooms. Beach and Pool were both wonderful . No issues with chairs being available even with the resort being full. The staff at the bars and beach BBQ work very hard for hours with no slow time . Managements needs to be made aware to staff up to accommodate when they are fully booked. Piano bar was by far our favorite hang out on a few evenings as it caters to 25 and up audience . Entertainment staff kept all busy that wanted to be involved from morning to evening . Excellent !!!! Now the only complaint I have is .The resort caters to spring breakers . The young people were honestly not a bother to me nor the group I was travelling with . On the last night we were there a young lady had too much to drink and pass out on the floor in the lobby bar . She was vomiting every where and all over herself. No one knew her name or room number . It took a few of us tourists to demand that management call an ambulance and have this young lady looked after . after putting her in a wheel chair and placing her in the front lobby for all to see , finally her room was found and she was taken to her room . But we still slept un easy as was this young lady alright ?? we do not know . If resorts are catering to spring breakers they need to have processes in place to handle such events . Would I recommend this resort ABSOLUTLY Would I book again with Kevin at Trip central Absolutely. Kevin has been booking our trip for several years now and I will continue to call him and I have recommended Him to several friends looking to travel . .

Breezes was a perfect resort to spend our five day vacation. The resort was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfy. We were only a 20 minute bus ride to downtown Nassau for sightseeing and shopping, and a 5 minute walk to the casino next door. The beach was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great except the pool was cold and the swim up bar was closed. Staff were very nice, but not as enthusiastic as other resorts. We went here as a honeymoon and informed the resort several months before that we just wanted the free honeymoon package which included t-shirts and champagne. Upon arrival, there was nothing in our room. We asked the staff everyday for 4 days before we finally got our honeymoon package. The t-shirts were both XXXL. My wife is a S or XS and I am a XL. We inquired about this but they said they had no other sizes. It's a shame they didnt have this more organized.

Got my phone stolen right upon arriving to my hotel. I was very upset and the hotel staff were helpful. The service is 4star the rooms are 3star. The food was 3.5star. And the people were just amazing.

Although the staff were very friendly and polite, I felt that paying almost 2700$ would at least warrant a fridge in my room and sufficient maid service. Apparently not. That was for just 7 days in a “5 star” resort. For one person. Never again.

We enjoyed are 2nd stay of the year at breezes. Are room location was the best. Garden Patio. Some minor complaints.We reported that the most to the drawers in the dresser wouldn't open. The 2 top drawers were broken. They said it would be reported to housekeeping. It never was fixed. The Food was very good, and overall we enjoyed our visit.

Do not come to this place. The staff is rude they don't want to serve you and it's like you bother them. We stayed here from October 4 to October 12, 2017. We had no air conditioning for three days and no towels for two days. The managers are rude they rolled her eyes and they can't be bothered. The service is below zero. The hotel is run down mouldy and needs a lot of work. Don't waste your money stay somewhere else. It was our first time to the Bahamas and we would never go back. We felt bullied ignored and like we were bothering everyone.

Don't waste your money! No air conditioning, towels and the staff are so snotty and rude.. we will never go back..all the works in every department were rude and bullied the guest and were not friendly.. they rolled their eyes and ignored us and the other guest. It's like we were bothering all of them. They don't clean the tables, serve the beach, pool or lobby.. hated it here and wanted to come home the whole 7 days we were here..

it has everything you need to spent a great vacation.. all the people working there are awesome.. the food is also good too .. and the place is clean .. it s close to downtown and the airport .. it has all inclusive drink all day .. there are 5 delicious restourants at this resort

The hotel was dated and our first room was awful! Supposed to be upgrade to deluxe garden view but all we had to look at was the back of the building with a hammock- no patio furniture for 3 of us - we were moved and spent the rest of the vacation trying to get a third chair for our patio. Th phone was a shell with no working parts and even though we asked for a working phone every day it never appeared! You need to send a rep to check it out - ask for room 104 and look at our deluxe garden view it will amaze you !! The beach was great - people amazing and food good- I have photos if you'd like to see them !

Miranda Mawdsley was a great travel agent and was very professional. She answered all of my questions and made sure that my needs were met. I would highly recommend her! The resort was also amazing and the location was great. Bahamas overall is such a beautiful place to go.

Friendliest staff ever. Hotel is a bit worn, we had booked a deluxe garden patio, and ended up with a room patio that looked out onto a brick wall, discarded old shoes, and a hammock, no other chairs or furniture. not sure how the three of us were to sit and enjoy the patio with one hammock. the staff did finally change our room to accommodate a proper patio with chairs. food was excellent. No information from westjet re transfers to and from the airport. When we approached the desk they told us to try and remember the name of the company who transported us and call them.. Have never had this experience before. there has always been someone with signs at the airport, and a book with transfer info to the airport,, not this time.

This is the best vacation spot on the island, and great value for Canadians. The food, drinks, location and the wonderful staff make this 3 star rated hotel a 5 star. Located on Cable Beach, best beach on the island, it is just a $1.25 jitney ride from Nassau and within walking distance to other attractions, ie. golf course, casino. Breezes brings travellers the tastes, sounds and the friendliness of the Bahamian people, which brings us back each year to this beautiful island. Your vacation is what you make of it. All you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your stay Breezes Bahamas.

It was a Great resort, a little dated, but has a clean white sandy beach, with a good variety of food choices. It also has an attentive hardworking staff. They Could use a few more umbrellas around the pool for shade. A little hard to get a chair by the pool with one. It had a very safe and friendly atmosphere.

Breezes hotel is disgusting! The rooms are dusty, full of mole and have a fouly smell! The hotel is very old and need a full upgrade. My family got sick the one night we stayed there! Our rooms were so disgusting we had to sit in the lobby all night until morning do we could move to another hotel! The lights in the wash rooms didn't work and the wash rooms are dirty and disgusting! I am still devastated from the experience! Can't believe the government allow them to be operating! The Breezes need to be close down!

Great value. Fantastic beach. Gracious staff. Great service. A very relaxing place - didn't engage with any off-site activities. I would recommend this destination for anyone that is looking for some rest and relaxation . One I the best beaches I've ever visited.

Clean grounds well maintained property. Close to all attractions. Safe environment. Cons - lack of balcony-so tiny literally cannot stand on it just a grill in front of sliding doors, cardio equipment in gym not functional, and could use more nightlife activities since not much going on locally. Also very poor check-in experience we had a delayed flight and waited in the lobby for 2 hours to be checked in without so much as a drink offered to us while we waited. Arrived at 11pm did not get a room until 1am!!!

My sister and I had a great experience at Breezes - the rooms were clean, the service was decent, and the beach and pool are phenomenal! The food and drinks were good and easily accessible - what more can you ask for?!

The staff was very nice, the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the private dinner on the beach it was a definite a highlight. Our Butler Dawson made it very memorable. Beach was gorgeous. Don't let the Spring Nreak kids scare you they were fine the hotel kept them on the other side of the resort

This is a compact resort on Cable beach. It provides all the expected amenities and the food and drinks are excellent. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. The rooms are clean and well appointed, but lack a fridge unless you are willing to pay extra. Check in was painless and no extra charges were levied. The wifi was a little temperamental at times.

Very beautiful view of the ocean. Great entertainment, easy to get around and friendly service. Enjoyed talking to the staff and learning about the resort. Would like to go back to Breezes as you get a little bit of both beach and pool.

We stayed at the Breezes for one week , all inclusive. Located in Nassau, Bahamas. The staff were prompt to any request and made you feel special. Located along the ocean. Lots of entertainment, eatery options, close to downtown Nassau. Great bus service to down town. A jitney bus costs $1.25 each. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend the place. I

Our 4 night stay at the Breezes was so much fun. The staff and the guests were so friendly and inviting. The evening activities were always fun. The food was tasty and fresh and the al a carte dinners were delicious with wonderful service! The beach was beautiful. The room was clean and well maintained although the finishes were a little dated. Would love to bring my adult children next time as the resort was very well suited to them. Lots of wonderful Candians too! Go Blue Jays!

The Breezes is an excellent resort. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help you out. The food was plentiful and very good. I'm a retired cook so I know what it is like to put on a buffett that size. There was lots of activities to do if you chose to or just sit on the beach. The beach was the cleanest one along all the resorts. A little bit of seaweed which wouldn't hurt you.lol. No overall I have to give it a 15 out of 10. The shuttle was right there to drive us to the resort. We took the local jitney downtown Nassau. That was an education in itself. We took a water taxi to Paradise Island and we were told about the history of the Island as we made our way over. I would stay at the Breezes again. I would love to come back right away! The weather was perfect, not too hot or humid. The Bahamians are very fortunate to have this weather year round, even the hurricanes are no big deal to some of them that we were talking to..

We love the Breezes its our second home we have been there 4 times now and find service amazing. Thanks to Lakisha,Chantal,Quisha,Jarvis your family and make sure everything is perfect. My only complaint was as a return guest you are invited to a special dinner on which we found our invitation in the hallway and missed out on the invite. They have always placed in room in the pass disappointed we where. The hotel is outdated but who stays in the rooms your there for the sun. Food is great a variety to choose from every night to many choices actually. I always request oceanfront ground floor found out this yr it has changed and was now beachfront and had to cancel and re book which caused a few problems after speaking with breezes directly. My sister and I find the resort over all safe for women to travel to safe to take the bus for $1.25 downtown to straw market . If your looking for relaxing time in the sun with good service and food try it out ! Also thanks to Julie the travel agent from trip central for taking the time to correct booking to make sure we had our beachfront !

Simple rooms but clean, good food, excellent service. Fun activities and good value overall. Noise level throughout can be a problem for sleeping. Walls are very thin and since it is less expensive, larger groups of students may be staying.

This resort,although a little dated was wonderful,my wife and I were there for 4 days, service was excellent,food was better than expected, people were great,make sure to go downtown,and to paradise island if you have time,would highly recommend this trip,we will definitely be back, for another vacation.
