The Bahamas, an archipelago of about 700 islands, extends over an area of about 760 miles in the north Caribbean. Bahamas vacations offer tourists the opportunity to explore some of the rich colonial history of the Bahamas deriving from British culture, history, and tradition. You’ll be delighted to find a range of great foods to tempt the palate, including the region’s celebrated seafood. In addition to local tastes, Bahamas music offers a mix of Caribbean styles, including Calypso and steel drum bands. Major Bahamas vacation destinations include Nassau, Grand Bahama Island with Freeport, and the Out Islands that are popular with sailing enthusiasts. The capital city of Nassau is located on the island of New Providence, the largest of the many islands in the Bahamas. It offers a variety of historical attractions and outstanding beaches. Grand Bahama Island is a small town setting with several natural wonders – underwater cave systems, three national parks, outstanding beaches and diverse marine life. Freeport offers the second most popular destination, featuring top-notch beaches, casinos, nightlife, and world-class scuba. The Out Islands are truly unique – no cruise ships, high-rise hotels or crowds – and perfect for those who wish to experience a more authentic Caribbean island experience. Eleuthera offers a variety of accommodation possibilities, from simple cottage rentals to high-end condos – great alternatives to the larger Bahamas vacation resorts.
Getting Around: We can help you find flights to Bahamas. Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS), the main point of access to the Bahamas, is located just 16 km outside of Nassau. Once in Nassau, taxis are not hard to find.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Good start to a good vacation
Overall the resort was ok. However the beach side bar close too early. The resort needs a third bar to cut down on wait times. This was my first all inclusive that didn’t serve snacks throughout the day. Breakfast was good but supper was a bit repetitive. That’s why my wife and I ate off resort. The evening entertainment came on late and wasn’t high quality. The location is good and easy to get to main attractions by cab. The only place on resort that is air conditioned is your room.
Would not go back Again, conditions were very poor had no air for 5 days.\n Moved me to a room for 2 nights with air, which the neighbors were loud smoking up and fighting all night long. So not a good experience at this hotel, I would like to speak to someone about the situation.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Worth it for the views and price
I had a fun trip- some ups and downs but overall net positive! there were lots of activity’s and beautiful beaches (and amazing shells!). There were kid activities and fun games for adults too. I liked the silly performances and the singer was really good. The staff were really nice and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs (they worked really hard to make it special for everyone and they really made the trip worth it- for ex. They would always high-five my nephew and other kids and were always sweet to me, and I saw them sit for a meal with a boy with special needs who was ecstatic to spend a meal with them!
As with any vacation don’t bother with the timeshare presentation, waste of time for a few free gifts (I didn’t listen to my own advice haha)
I did find there were a lot of silly little rules that got to me on day 3/7- like:
No swimsuits in the dinning hall (understandable but slightly annoying when you’ve been swimming all day), blocked off areas for timeshare members; having to book every activity (including dinner reservations) at the main desk before 2ish or you can’t go; The stores closing at 5ish even if the sun is still out till 8 (again understandable but you start to lose track of time relaxing on a vacation and then the stores are closed when I’d actually like to spend my money); the pool closing at 8 (fair as there’s no lifeguard at night, but you’d think they might consider getting a night time person). Again I understand the rules but they started to get annoying.
The food was actually good! I liked the buffet for most meals, and the restaurants were fun (especially as they were free!
In terms of allergies I wish they would have signs posted for certain common allergies like nuts and sesame as the dining hall had sauces like Nutella without listings of nuts and the burger buns all had sesame (I worry for kids with allergies like my family). The restaurant was really nice (I even got a free cake for my bday! They did however forget my partners allergy even though we mentioned it so if we hadn’t seen pesto ourselves he could have been sick, which I wasn’t a fan of, so just make sure to be really, really clear about allergies).
Alcohol:
The mixed drinks were tasty and the bar tenders really knew their stuff! They had at least 40 drinks offered and they knew all of them!
the liquor was okay- other than the wine, it was strong but tasted like crap.
Great trip overall, def worth it for a not too pricey trip and very family friendly!

The resort was well taken care off , most staff was amazing , Tiffani from the company was great and the tour guides was so knowledgeable.
The beach was beautiful the water incredible , you do not have water in your fridge but there are water stations to refill bottles plus a store to get water , the buffet was ok , managed to eat 3 times a day the à la cartes the food was great . Absolutely no complaints at all , I heard some people complaining but honestly I didn’t know what about lol

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Very relaxing!
The experience matched the photos I seen online. Very relaxing beach, great ambience. Picture perfect scenery. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Even though I went during "spring break" it didn't really take away from my relaxing experience. I just wished I was informed before hand. Overall I give it a 8.5/10.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: ok Resort
Resort was ok, food was just ok, was not impressed with being invaded by over 300 students who basicaly took over the resort. I would not have paid the money I paid to go there, also found out other people didnt pay what we paid which also upset me. I feel a rebate to us should be made. The resort advised they do this ever year for 3 weeks, we advised they should let people know so they can decide if they want to go there or not. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and it was very stressful. We had to listen to loud music and kids running around most of the night playing nicky nicky nine doors on your door.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Overall great hotel!
The hotel although a bit dated was clean and comfortable. Shower worked air worked. Some minor things could use some TLC but who cares. Forever cleaning resort. Bar was quick although could get a bit slower after the large group of younger people arrived. Food was plentiful and lots of variety. A La Cartes were all good hot and quick. Cannot speak for pool as the biggest negative was all the chairs were gone super early however the beach is large and has plenty of loungers. Ocean very rocky to get into wear water shoes. After getting past rocks beautiful!
I will look at the availability everytime as we had a great time!
Dated rooms but nice resort overall. Food, service was great. Clean & Tidy
Beach not accessible due to rocks.
Would have been nice to have had a heads up on the 260 Florida Grad Students arriving!!! Pool disgusting vomit & hair & sunscreen floating. Felt bad for older guests & people with young children as lack of chairs & poolspace. Will return tho another time

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Great resort
The resort itself has been there for quite some time and has great charm to it. Not too big! Our rooms were facing the ocean with lovely balcony. Lots of places to sit but there is quite a bit of sunny areas. The pool is large and situated beside the ocean. No complaints about the food. Lots of variety and quite tasty! The ocean is pretty rocky to get into so definately need water shoes. All in all we had a great time.

Verified PurchaserWarwick Paradise Island: Good resort
The resort was ok..rooms was ok bathroom was very small.. bed was very hard just a standard room..also pool was nice .. they have a beach not to big.. the food was amazing loved every meal.. the staff was very friendly and kind…but resort is for couples I would say..
Beautiful location - 2 hrs from Toronto . The ocean water nice warm and blue. BRING YOUR WATER SHOES . Nice long beach to walk and safe. Food Ok. Stuff helpful! Rooms need update ASAP!- that was the big downside of this trip. Cuba 4 stars better than this one . Also lots of cockroaches !
I will go back if they fully renovate the rooms/ beds/ sheets/ pillows . The whole!
Beach was stunning. Rooms and grounds very clean. Staff and Entertainment was excellent.
Sunwing guides were excellent. Specifically Andrea. The bar staff was excellent. Always friendly and engaging.
The hotel was on a great beach that was clean and the water was beautiful. It is a smaller hotel which made it quick access to the pool and the beach. There were always chairs to use.
The pool area was great and the lobby area was really nice with a great view of the ocean.
All the games were fun and we used them nightly (pool tables, ping pong tables, jenga)
There was plenty of food available from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The food was good and had some, not a lot but some, variety at mealtimes.
The food in the restaurants were good and luckily we had 8 people to be able to make a reservation. However, the restaurants were only open certain nights and the one night we had 6 people we had to wait 2 hours to get in. I think it would be easier to make reservations for everyone rather than wait in line to see if you get in.
The staff were friendly but some of them not quick movers. A couple of times at the pool bar, they were talking amongst themselves rather than asking us if we wanted anything.
We wanted to use the tennis courts but when we went to use them there was sand on the playing areas so we asked at the desk if we could get a broom and clean it. The desk advised they would have someone clean it. It took over a day and half for the courts to be ready to use...
The staff were accommodating.
The entertainment staff tried hard to get people involved during the day and nightly. However, there were not a lot of people present. I am not sure if there were not many guests because of time of year or the guests went elsewhere for the evening or just went to bed. I would say the average age of the crowd was middle aged.
There was easy access to information and booking for any excursions and the staff were informative regarding local questions, such as bus into town etc.
The hotel is beside the casino hotel, Baha Mar, and it is easily accessible with a directional path through the beautiful grounds of Baha Mar.
Every part of the hotel was very clean!!!! It was a little run down in areas and outdated and some things didn't work well.
The only thing that I had issue with were all the birds outside in the pool area and the outside eating area. People could not leave food on the table for fear of the circling birds coming and taking your food. I am not sure what can be done about this as people throw food at them especially on the beach and near the outside grill.
I enjoyed the stay very much.
Thank you

The view from our balcony was breath taking, room was clean, no complaints. The staff were very accommodating. Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Sun, Sound, and Swim-Up Spirits at Breezes Nassau
I stayed at Breezes Nassau from March 11 to 15 2026 with a friend, and the resort delivered exactly the kind of carefree Caribbean escape we wanted. The beach was stunning—wide, soft sand and clear water just steps away. Multiple pools gave us options, from relaxed lounging to the lively swim-up bar where the drinks flowed all day. The Bahamian architecture added charm and a sense of place. Food was plentiful, especially the buffet, and the Italian à la carte restaurant was a highlight. Evenings were full of energy with a live band, a fun piano bar, and plenty of bars to explore. Overall it was vibrant, social, and easygoing—perfect for a fun-filled getaway. We met people easily, danced late into the night, and never had to worry about entertainment or drinks running out. It felt like a true all-inclusive experience done right. We would happily return again.
This resort was very good .We were very impressed with the cleanliness inside as well as outside. The bathrooms could use an update but other then that no complaints. The buffet , Asian and Italian restaurants were very good. Pool and beach wonderful. We will definitely return here in the future.

Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Needs to up its game
The beach saved our vacation and saves this resort. Didn't mind dated rooms but where the Breezes falls down is overall service/cheapness: can't get a good coffee (not even from cheap espresso/latte machine), ran out of strawberry daiquiris every day and no straws to drink them, no mojitos, not enough bar service generally.
Unassuming small hotel, not too busy. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Perfect if you want to avoid crowds. A bit dated, but very clean. Friendly staff. Fresh food, good selection. No reservations needed for a la carte restaurants, but you need to get in line early. Never any trouble finding a chair on the beach. Great value.
One of the nicest resorts I've ever been to. The Reef does not disappoint. Can't stay enough about the staff, at every level from cleaning to front desk, friendly, helpful, professional. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped and a very positive feature. The beach is superb. All in all, just as advertised. I highly recommend.

Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Very Disappointing
Unfortunately, our trip
to the Breezes was terrible, our room was musty and very old and dated. The food was horrible and the service was terrible. We arrived on Thursday night and left to go to another resort on the Monday morning. We spent more time at the Hyatt BaHar then we did at the Breezes where we were staying. The fact that i had to spend another $2000 to go to another hotel was very very disappointing.

The hotel itself is outdated and needs a makeover. Rooms are small. Staff is very friendly. The pool area is the nicest part of the hotel. Needs to have more options for dining and having to book the restaurant a day in advance is outdated as well. Hotels that I have been too don't reserve like that anymore. Very close to the Atlantis which was nice to have to spend time at.

Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Very outdated
This resort is extremely outdated, limited drink options, the rooms are horrible, no water bottles in the room fridge, the showers ran luke warm - no hot showers or any water pressure.
Bartenders and front desk staff were friendly. Gift shop manager alliyah extremely rude and servers for the limited restaurants they had, were rude, No friendly interaction whatsoever. Pools aren’t heated it’s freezing. All guests are much older crowd.
The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. I would definitely return, maybe when the weather is a bit warmer. Pools are not heated :-(. It was a bit chilly this time of year. The beach was beautiful
The rooms appeared clean, but were just patchwork fixes everywhere, the toilet was not fully attached to the floor. The food was ok, not great, and was repurposed from the previous meal/day and was not refilled timely, so once filled it is a fight to get some before it’s gone. There was no table service for coffee or drinks while eating, or at the pool, so you have to go get drinks yourself. While the staff are friendly, they are not eager to serve. À la cartes were good but small so it was hard to get a seating. There was pizza at night that was good but if not for one of the entertainment staff (Theo, who was awesome) we never would have known. The beach was nice and clean, but beach towels were not always available and ran out mid morning. The pool was not cleaned daily so by the end of the week it was dirty with leaves, dirt and hair. The nightly shows were good and the entertainers were fun and friendly.
All is very good , except for the loud music and choice of music at pool side .Please play according to your clients .What I mean is +/- 80% of the folk there were above 50+ years of age and much of the music was for a much younger group , such as all the rap that was played. As well the MC , spoke way tooo much and it was too loud

Verified PurchaserComfort Suites Paradise Island: Value for money....
Booking the Comfort Suites was the right choice for sure. The grounds, including the pool, restaurant and lobby are well kept. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Thanks to Natasha at breakfast who went above & beyond for us. Having breakfast included just makes sense to get the day started off on the right foot as Atlantis is notoriously expensive.
The rooms themselves are looking a little tired and in need of some updating but in terms of having a base to sleep & shower while spending the days at Atlantis it's just fine. And, the location is excellent - just a quick walk over! We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is very outdated. Simple things I’ve never had an issue having in other resorts is bottled water in our room. Communication between the front desk and what I thought I was getting (I upgraded to beach front room with a butler) was inaccurate. The people in the restaurants and pool/beach staff extremely nice. We ended up either going into Nassau or going to Bahia Mar beside us to get half decent drinks. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place. Not worth the money I spent.
Spent 1 week here in January 2026
Pros:
Weather was perfect; 24/25 C everyday, no humidity
Beautiful white, powdery sand beach
Huge pool with lots of lounge chairs, on beach as well
Friendly, helpful staff
Clean rooms, well maintained grounds
Pool Grill was excellent! Fries, burgers, conch fritters all delicious!
Cons:
Hotel itself is older, rooms and furnishings older but clean
Mattresses on beds very squeaky, but fairly comfortable
Food at the buffet and the 3 restaurants was good however the system used to go to the restaurants was very poor. No reservations but first come, first serve, honour system. Your name was put on a list and you stood there until called not really knowing who you followed. And only one restaurant was open each night.
There were 3 bars, only one had top shelf liquor and it didn’t open till 6pm. And some nights they ran out of vodka and liqueurs.
We had an amazing family trip and stay at comfort suites over the Christmas holidays. Easy access to Atlantis and marina village. Great to have water park and beach access at Atlantis included. All staff were very friendly and room was clean. Would stay again.

Verified PurchaserSandals Royal Bahamian: Not worth the money
I recently stayed at Sandals Bahamas resort want to share some feed back.
First and foremost, the primary reason for my visit was to celebrate my 25 wedding anniversary's, which I had communicated this in advance with our booking agent, However, upon my arrival, I was informed that my request had not been received. It was only after showing the email from my travel agent that the staff acknowledged the oversight. I was puzzled as to why requests are not properly communicated to the resort, especially when we witness other rooms had “Happy anniversary” and happy birthday” signs on their doors. I also requested an updated room but was given an outdated one. I was told that they were not sure if they could change my room next day and that I had to check back. When I did so, I was informed that they couldn’t change my room until Monday. By that time I decided to forgo the offer, as I did not want to spend another day packing and unpacking.
On the third day of my stay, I received a bottle of wine and a card wishing me and my husband a happy anniversary. While I appreciated the gesture, it felt quite impersonal, as the wine was already in the room . A bucket of ice with a bottle of champagne would have been a more thoughtful touch.
Moreover, the elevators in our building (west Bay Village) were not operating properly or working at all. our suite was on the 5th floor, and the elevator was not stopping on this floor for the first 3 days of our stay. We either had to go to 6th or 4th floor and use the stairs to get tour floor. This was quite inconvenient and stressful.
We’re did let management know about this issue and received a $200.00 USD credit and we appreciated the gesture, but this issue should have been looked after much sooner.
I was quite disappointed with the size of the beach.area was very small, and it was not possible to walk on it. There was seaweed in the front of the beach. One day there were some workers removing the seaweed, but they were throwing the seaweed back into the ocean. I believe that this not a solution as the seaweed will get back to shore and prevents us from using that portion of the beach due to seaweed.
Additionally, our suite looked outdated. And did not meet my exceptions. I had made several requests when I book my trip three months prior to my departure, but none of them were fulfilled.
On a positive note, I must commend the resort’s food, which was amazing. However, there was one night when it took over 2 hours for our food to be served, despite the restaurant not being very busy. When we inquired about the delay, the staff apologized, and we eventually received our meal.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Peaceful December visit
Breezes has a beautiful sandy beach with no debris. Since it was mid December and midweek it was not crowded or loud. We swam in the ocean but the pools were too cold due to stormy nights at the beginning of the week. Mattresses and pillows were fabulous.Buffet was good with many entree choices. Different salad every day. Pastries were especially good. Room had dated decor but only slept in it so who cares. Very clean. Attentive maid and front desk service. 35 dollar taxi ride to straw market. We did day trip to 'swim with pigs' do not recommend. Did day trip to Atlantis water park.

Unfortunately, viva Wyndham Fortuna was just good. This is a very aged hotel. We requested and paid for the Superior Oceanview Room and could barely see the Ocean. Rm 1171 was at the furthest end. Verified PurchaserThe Coral at Atlantis: Not a 5 star resort or experience
This resort is advertised as a 5 star.
The amenities at our resort: pool, towel station, and outdoor bar and restaurant were all closed for the entirety of our 5 day stay. Daily we would have to walk 25+ minutes to find a pool that was open, a place to get towels (where there was always a 12 to 25 minute wait), and at best find 1 open lounge chair for us to share.
The sunset beach bar advertised 5 to 7 pm happy hour. We arri9ed at 5 and they were just closing. Services were inconsistent or non existent.
The hot tub was cold all 5 days.
Staff on the beach were inconsistent.
You spend months saving, planning, and getting excited for a holiday based on the images and videos only to get there and have major amenities closed. Very disappointing!
The resort is extremely expensive: food, drinks, lockers. We went to the local grocery store and off site restaurants to eat.
This is not a 5 star resort. We will not return, nor recommend it.
The beaches are fabulous
The staff were friendly. They kept the rooms clean.
Upon arrival at the airport the transfer bus said they only had us on the list to return 5 days later, not to get to the resort and told us to take a taxi. We, along with another couple convinced them to call 'someone' to fix the error and let us on the bus to take us to the resort.

Verified PurchaserWarwick Paradise Island: Super Fantastic Resort and Staff
My siblings and I surprised my mom with a 5 day vacation for her 60th birthday here. My mom has never been to Bahamas and there was not a minute of disappointment. Ms. Debbie was exceptional in providing service that felt like a friend. Ajah arranged my mom's surprised dinner providing small perfect details. Brenda in the Spa provided an 1.5 massage which left my mom rested, calm and smiling. The staff within the resort were very pleasant, professional, welcoming and friendly. The chef prepared a beautiful Lobster dinner with perfection and did not miss on the flavor. My mom was impressed with the grab bar in the bathtub which is something she never sees in hotels and thought this was a very good safety feature. Housekeeping were friendly and helpful when my mom needed her dress steamed and did a great job maintaining the room. The only con my mother had was nightly entertainment was lacking. otherwise this resort earned every bit of the 5*. My mom did not want to leave and would most assuredly return for another stay. Food, service, beach, views, service, everything is a WIN.
Thank you Warwick Paradise Island for making my mom's 60th birthday the best experience she could've asked for.
This resort was more than I expected it to be! The staff are very warm, friendly and very helpful. The beach is gorgeous, I have never been to a resort before where everyone was so friendly. We had an 11yr. old with us, could have been helpful if they could have had unlimited beverages for free.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Won't be back
Very disappointed. Would have been worse had we paid full price, but there was a promotion with Sunwing. This resort is barely a step up from Cuba. Buffets were basic and repetitive. Rooms are dated and in need of repairs. Staff does bare minimum. Our room wasn't cleaned the last 3 days. Drinks were good but they ran out beer several times. We won't return to this resort or Freeport.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Viva Fortuna Beach by Wyndham, Grand Bahamas
Period of Stay: Sept. 6-13, 2025
The hotel is modest in size which will suit anyone looking for a calmer environment. However, the promotional photos don’t correspond with the actual state of the facilities.
We changed rooms the 2nd day. Our 1st night the room the air conditioning did not work and no hot water. Guest service staff were accommodating in finding a new room.
The rooms with respect to maintenance and cleanliness are dated with stained sheets, moldy comforters, loud air conditioners running constantly leaving the floors wet, room musty smelling and mirror and patio doors fogged. The door to the bathroom had seen water in its time showing wet stains and warped, (possibly remnants of Hurricane Dorian in 2019) and the bottom hardware rusty. A new door or fresh coat of paint would have alleviated this.
Cleaning staff need to be educated to wipe down surfaces and not just sweep floors, make bed with existing laundry and leave towels.
Bare minimum for cleaning.
Food overall was basic at buffets, elevated at ala crates were good.
Alcohol beverages considered ordinary, as well as service.
International brands were for VIP members of Wyndham.
Fortuna Beach is the main asset of this resort. White sand, clear blue water set in a natural environment. Off site, Banana Bay a short walk from Fortuna Beach, has picture perfect clear blue water (no sea grass) and on site beach bar and restaurant.
One large pool at resort with small kids pool adjacent. Regular pool activities throughout the week with Fridays being their foam party day. Their wow activity (included for guests) is the Flying trapeze although very few guests tried it out during our stay. Activity staff do their best to make it fun for guests.
Despite the beautiful natural setting, this resort doesn’t live up to the standards of a Wyndham. A complete refresh of rooms and other areas would be beneficial to bring up the star rating to a 3.5* as it states now. The grounds were somewhat clean, grass long in areas and landscaped flowering bushes flowering were pretty.
However, it is important to note the price was favourable for budget conscious travellers and families.
The people of Bahamas are wonderful, the beach was gorgeous but I would not return to this resort myself.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: From experience, we expected better from Wyngham - very disappointing
Although we had a wonderful vacation, the hotel was a complete let down. For a Wyndham resort, we expected better.
Here is the low down:
Check in was fairly quick but there was confusion. On the bus, we were told to go get something to eat and then come back to check in after our luggage arrived (it was loaded on to a luggage bus whereas the people were in a people bus). First time I’ve been separated from my luggage during transit from the airport to the hotel. But when we tried to go to eat, we were told to check in first – ok whatever.
Our room was clean and housekeeping did the there very basic – made the beds (don’t think the sheets were every changed), swept the floor and cleaned the bathroom. Nothing extra.
There was a towel rack over the toilet – no problem except that is the only place in the entire room to hang anything. There wasn’t even a hook on the back of the bathroom door. So, there is no place to hang wet towels or bathing suites. There was three hangers in the closet but they were used for clothing.
Lighting in the room – there is a light above the entrance, and a single wall sconce in the room. The light in bathroom was good. However, there were no lamps in the room except tiny half inch round book lamps for each bed. The light on the hairdryer provided more lighting than those. You could not read by them as they were not close enough to the bed to light up the pages.
Even though the water in the room is not drinkable, the resort provides ONE 500 ml bottle of water. Yes, it does say one bottle of water in the list of inclusions, but I expected at least a gallon to last us the week. If you want more you have to go to the gift shop and buy more.
Food and food service – The food is boring and repetitive and could definitely use more heat. The pasta was constantly under cooked. The only service you will receive is the removal of your plates. They do not offer beverages – no coffee (I don’t drink coffee but that’s not the point), they do not offer to bring water to the table, or any other drinks. They only clear your plate and reset the table for the next person.
Entertainment? Is there any? I can’t say for sure. The animation team often did their little dance at the pool but there was nowhere to see what activities were happening when. I don’t even know if there is a evening show every night. We did see that there was going to be a Lion King production but that’s because we happen to walk past the theatre and saw the advertisement on the screen. It’s the only bulletin we saw all week. The only interaction we had with the animation team was our last day and one actually said ‘hi’. They don’t come around to invite you to play games – if there were any??
If you are looking to get you hair braided, do not use the woman just west of the pool. Go to the little shack at the east end of the beach.
There is no late check out – period. We had a six hour wait between check out and our bus to the airport. They do offer a courtesy room – if you can get in and you have to almost beg for towels.
This resort has absolutely no place to go, besides your room, for respite from the heat/humidity/rain. There is no effort to entertain during the rain (we experienced this in Jamaica – the animation team made sure people were entertained when it rained there). As far as we could see there was no game room or library. We knew we were going during rainy season but still.
On the good side… because of the season there was plenty of chairs on the beach. Also, a lot of palm trees to provide shade if wanted. The beach was always cleaned – groomed daily and someone walked around to pick up people’s cups (why people can’t return their cups is beyond me).
Dawn at the front desk was very nice to chat with and I can not say enough about Tiffany from Nexus Tours. She was so helpful and friendly. She is very knowledgeable about the resort and the tours. She educated us on the tours available and then allowed us to purchase what we wanted when it suited us. Alissa from Nexus Tours also deserves a shout out. Even with a slight language barrier she did her best to help.
Overall, yes, we had a good vacation – sitting on the beach, reading our books, and enjoying the ocean. But for a Wyngham, we expected better service, better attention to detail and more friendly people. (Nexus staff are not part of the hotel so they don’t count here). We will be hard pressed to return to this resort. We have kept this review strictly on the resort – don’t get me started on sunwing/westjet, that’s another issue for another review.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Great Entertainment
Needs more shower by the pool and by the Ocean for rinsing. Me and my friends enjoyed the entertainment. They worked hard to make the guests happy.Germaine is the best. We had a hard time booking the ala carte.
This resort is perfect if you’re looking for exceptional!
The staff and services at the Warwick were above and beyond our expectations .
The food at the el a carts are changing regularly, so it’s not always the same menu . ( the food was by far the best food we have had at any all inclusive resort .)
The staff remember your name and treat you like royalty .
The cleaning staff were amazing and Michelle Williams couldn’t do enough for us , Always asking if we needed anything special . she gave us recommendations, for our stay .

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Great place but rooms were dirty
Great staff, and amenities, but the rooms were so dirty and I found myself constantly killing big roaches, small roaches, caterpillar and all kinds of bugs in my room. Also the pillow cases smelled and had black mold spots on one side. Also the buffet was very self serve, I came with a baby and I was expecting someone to offer to bring a highchair or drinks, but its not that kind of place.

We loved every second at this resort. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable.
We loved the beach and the pool. The food was fine. I loved my morning omelet.
We will return every year. I hope nothing changes.
Very nice resort, our AC wasn't working and had to keep calling maintenance to come and fix it. Overall service was very good. Rooms were clean and so were the grounds.
Make sure if you book a room - specifically have to book for a balcony view = otherwise the island view is a bit dissapointing

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: A Beautiful Beachfront Stay with Great Value
Our recent stay at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach was a mix of highs and a few areas for improvement, but overall, it was a great getaway for the price we paid.
Waking up to breathtaking sunrises over the ocean was an unforgettable experience. The golden hues stretching across the sky, paired with the calm, warm breeze, set the perfect tone for each day. With consistently beautiful weather, Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach provided an ideal setting for relaxation—whether it was unwinding by the shore, embracing the peaceful atmosphere, or simply enjoying the soothing sounds of the waves.
The resort also offered an impressive selection of included activities, from catamarans to kayaking and canoeing, ensuring there was always something to do. Additionally, the variety of excursions available catered to all budgets, making it easy to explore the area.
While the resort’s charm was undeniable, the hotel itself showed signs of aging and could benefit from an upgrade. The buffet dining was underwhelming, with cold food, minimal variety, and a lack of seasoning. However, the Mexican and international à la carte restaurants truly delivered—offering delicious, high-quality meals that made up for the buffet experience.
The staff at the resort were consistently friendly and welcoming, enhancing our overall experience. The nightly entertainment was another standout, with talented performers delivering engaging shows we thoroughly enjoyed.
For those looking to shop for souvenirs, taking a cab to Port Lucaya is highly recommended, as it offers a great selection of handmade crafts from local vendors.
All in all, Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach provided a memorable vacation with a mix of pros and cons. If you can secure the right price, it offers good value for your money.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Not thrilled ?
Very big resort. Room location was horrible. When you arrive/leave your baggage and explore the facilities. Couldn't book dinner reservations for their el la carte restaurants as they were booked for the week. Get up at 6:00 am every morning to get a pool chair. Good luck! Towel service sucked! Guest service staff were not friendly. Entertainment was great.
However, I wouldn't recommend this resort.
P.S. we got locked out of our room for 2 hours the night before departure, due to old malfunction key pads.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: March 29 to April 5, 2025 review
The room was spacious. The workers were nice and helpful. There were 4 pickle-ball courts and a tennis court that we took advantage of. The al-a-carte restaurants were fine to good. The buffet had varying dinner options with lunch and breakfast being less fluctuating. The resort was kept reasonably clean and and felt safe walking around at any point of day or nght.
The beach had rocky portions and seaweed at high water mark. The water's edge had greenish vegetation for the initial 1m into the water. Could have been more events as other locations we have been to. Some of the buffet items were very salty. The sports bar had old and broken games. The disco was put on after 1130pm in the sports bar. Did not attend as was later than stayed up. The pool was fairly cool, colder than ocean.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: 3 years in a row. Easy getaway with group of friends
We have gone here 3 years straight with a group of 15 -18 friends each year. Love the size and the activities i.e. 4 Pickleball courts, Archery, Hobbie Cats, yard games silly activities to partake.
They need to refresh the games i.e. Corn hole bags were half full bolo golf only 2 bolos bocce balls broken or different types...these are tiny spends to add fun. Foam party needs more canons ha.
First 2 years bars were well stocked and bartenders were over the top great. This year they seemed out of most things. No mint for mojitos, no white russians (coacao), no brandy alexanders often. I look for not sweet or fruity options...Anyhow still had great fun and giggles with our friends.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Cheap and Cheerful!
Sure, you can go to Cuba for less. But for The Bahamas - Viva Fortuna is a great deal! The beach is absolutely glorious! Lovely soft sand and uncrowded sandy strolls in both directions. Bluest water as far as you can see and palm trees framing stunning sunrises. All this alone is worth the price of admission! For a cheap and cheerful resort, Viva Fortuna can't be beat.
We upgraded to an oceanfront room which was brilliant - you are literally ON the beach! The rooms could certainly use some upgrading but ours was very clean, the bed was comfy, the fridge was cold and the shower was hot. The food at the buffet was fine (nothing spectacular) but booking a specialty restaurant was virtually impossible. Even on our first day we were told "everything is booked!" We did manage 2 meals at the Cafe Viva and both nights the room was half full at best. So "booked" really means understaffed. That said, this is NOT a 5 star resort and the food (and horrible wine) reflects that.
Most of the staff members were friendly and helpful, nobody in our group starved and the beach was the best! My biggest complaint was the non-stop BOOM-BOOM music. The DJ was definitely not reading the room. Sure there were a few 20-somethings, but far more mature adults and families. I am a long-time radio DJ and I would have chosen much differently, especially for certain times of day. And ... if you were sitting at the beach bar (which should have umbrellas on the tables!) the music there was in very loud conflict with the pool music. Please - pick one! On a positive note, the evening singer was very good!
Extra note: our package was with Sunwing and I would be very reluctant to book with them again. At the Freeport airport we had to wait 40 minutes to check in and then another 45 to pass security. Then, upon our return to Toronto we had to wait almost TWO hours for our luggage!

Verified PurchaserWarwick Paradise Island: Fourth time in four years
We love this hotel. It is a very different experience from the huge resorts on Paradise Island. Although it is not right on Cabbage Beach, it is just a five minute walk or you can take the shuttle There is a small beach on site and there is so much to watch from the huge (10 000 sq ft ) deck on the water overlooking Nassau…fishing boats, ferries, transport boats, and mega yachts. The pool is huge and hardly used plus there is a lap pool.
Not a single complaint about this resort! Above all, the staff is the best. They are genuine and love to have fun with guests.
We’ll be back next year!

Verified PurchaserThe Coral at Atlantis: Wanted to forever, finally did it, did not regret.
It was great. The service was fantastic, the room was super clean and recently renovated. Was it the nicest room we have ever stayed in, no. Consider what you are signing up for though. It was the most budget friendly of all of the resorts on the property. If you can afford it maybe look at The Royal or The Reef or The Cove if you have the pocketbook. A lot of people say the cheapest option is the Comfort Inn across the street which offers day passes to Atlantis. But its the Comfort Inn, I didn't come to Bahamas to stay at a Comfort Inn. We came for Atlantis and The Coral fit our budget perfectly. If you were thinking of staying at another resort or a VRBO/Air BNB and want to visit Atlantis know that its $195.00USD per person, per day. Staying on the property makes the most sense. Also prepare for a lot of walking, there is so much to see and the grounds are expansive. There are shuttles that can take you to the other resorts every 15mins or so which does help.
Please also note Atlantis does not offer transport to and from the airport. We contacted Sandra's, her pricing was perfect as was her service. She also allows for stops at the grocery and liquors stores if required.
When we arrived at the resort we were greeted by Jermal with a great big smile and a "Welcome to Bahamas and Atlantis, if there is anything you need during your stay please let me know!" form that moment forward he was our go to guy for the rest of the trip. He is truly an asset to the resort. Every time we saw him he always came over to check on us, see how our day was going, asking us about our plans and offering any help or advice we required. Our room attendant Deshawn was just as good. We saw her almost every day, and looked forward to every interaction. She made us feel like family and her work was top notch. Whenever you asked her how she was her response was always "I am Awesome!" We also had the pleasure of dealing with Enoch the Manager. He was exceptional and made our stay very pleasant, he even arranged something special for my wife on her birthday.
We scoured the internet and read every review for The Coral before booking. Yes Atlantis is dated and some things could be improved but they are forever working on it. It has to be a monumental task itself in upkeep, let alone improvements yet they do it day in and day out. It was always VERY clean. Did we wait for elevators at the Coral, never more than 2-3 minutes, they were never broken. A lot of reviews complain of this but we never had an issue. A ton of reviews harp on the check in process. We did wait in line for about 15 minutes but beyond that it was super smooth, our room wasn't ready at the time (12 Noon) but they sent us a text when it was. We were situated on the 8th floor in 8216. The view of the ocean was partially hidden by one of the other towers but it was still huge. Additionally the proximity of The Coral to The Marina is great, excellent for an evening stroll. Make sure to catch the Junkanoo parade there Tuesday and Friday at 9pm.
The food was as most say unjustly expensive. Nothing we ate while we were there was anything to write home about unless you went off the resort. It could most certainly be taken up a few notches. We enjoyed Poseidon's Table the most. Do spend the $27 on a refillable tumbler for soft drinks. We also lucked out with $800.00 of resort credit when we booked in January which helped immensely. We used every bit of it and more as a family of 3. Maybe a visit to Fish or Nobu could have changed my opinion of the food but didn't have the time to reserve.
In summary Atlantis is still great, we kept saying its like the Vegas of the Caribbean in all its grandeur. It truly is Grand in every sense of the word. Just take a bit of time and really look at the details as you walk around. Really stop and take a look at things. The time and effort that went into making this place is something to behold. There is no shortage of things to do and check out. The beaches, the grounds, the pools, the waterpark, the shops, the casino, its goes on and on.

Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Perfect little get-away
The resort was perfect for my daughter and I for a nice little break. Small resort that only took a few mins to get to the gorgeous beach was the highlight. Not a snazzy place, but very clean and simple, which is what we were looking for. We only tried the buffet and enjoyed the food. Especially liked the local food selections. Close enough to the "Fish Fry" near the resort to try for a dinner off the resort. Staff friendly and came quickly when we needed help with our room safe. We didn't explore the night life part so unable to share about that! We just wanted to get back to our very comfortable white fluffy beds after all day on the beach. The gym was a bit of a disappointment but there was one good elliptical and two treadmills we could use. It was enough to get a work out in.
I would definitely go back, even go back by myself for a little break from daily life next winter. Trip Central made this booking very easy and I felt taken care of by the company. Thanks Breezes and Trip Central for a beautiful holiday with my daughter.

Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Despite the nicks and dings, a reasonable place to stay
Yes, the structure and decor is dated, but in a way it was a bit of an interesting time capsule that carried its own inherent charm.
We visited the same resort in the summer of 2016, and everything was still the same.
The resort was generally quite clean, and our experience found all the staff quite friendly and helpful.
We had no complaints about any of the food, though the selection was not as broad as we have experienced at resorts on other islands. All in all, the food was quite good and nothing to complain about.
I would have to say the best feature of this resort is its beautiful beach. There are ample loungers for seating, and the beach staff will kindly provide sun protective umbrellas to those who want to limit their sun exposure.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Great Resort
We visited this resort once 5 years ago and again this past week. Staff were super friendly and the food was excellent. The rooms could benefit from some remodeling as they are old and tired. We really enjoyed the water aerobics each day in the pool. One thing that was missing was a functioning ping pong table. They used to have the table just outside the bar, which was lots of fun, but now it has been relegated to a room known as a “sports bar”.Unfortunately the table is defunct without a net, without paddles or balls and folded up into a corner, unusable! The same goes for the billards table, it was as well completely unusable!
Overall, good value for the money. Beautiful beach as well as great food and drink

The hotel was very clean, the food was excellent with lots of variety. The grounds were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful
The housekeeping was very good.I would stay there again and told my friends about this great place.
My friends and I booked this resort for our reading break in February this year. The resort layout is small but had everything we needed. Staff were very nice and engaging with our group. Although there were not a lot of younger people our age there at the time, we still made some great friends. The food was delicious and there was a wide assortment of drink options. The beach was exceptionally beautiful with calm blue waters. The resort is close to some in town bars that you can walk and drive to if you choose. The activities available at the resort are available to everyone to ensure there is always something to do. I personally used the beach volleyball court every day.
If you want an easy trip, this is your spot! Less than 3 hour flight from Toronto and 10 min bus ride from airport to resort. It has an amazing white sand beach with the water steps away from your room. Only one pool, which is always very cold. I could count on one hand the number of people swimming in it. Staff are less than ideal, with bartenders scowling (with only two bars, there is always a long line), and buffet has no service other than clearing your plates from the table. The food was a 3.5 star resort, definitely. If you could get into one of the 3 a la carte restaurants, you hit the jackpot. They only have 3 and never all open on the same night. This is terrible. Kids club is also not at all what we would expect, no toys and the playground was caution taped off. This is a 3.5 star place but that is truly only because of the location.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Resort has changed in five years feeling its age
The food buffet was good as it was five years ago. The rooms are looking tired and are in need of repair. Staff was very friendly and was able to answer any questions that you had. The steak la carte food was really great.
I wasn't sure how great this place would be based on the previous reviews. It was better than expected! Sonia at the front desk greeted us with a smile and polite and helpful service. I requested a top floor which they accomodated, and they explained how to get into Atlantis that day. We arrived too early for our room to be ready, but Cedrics helped us put our bags in their safe area so we could go out exploring. We had a microwave put in our room to make it easy to prepare some little dinners. The restaurant on site has very slow service at dinner (seemed understaffed) but the prices were reasonable for the food quality. Breakfast changed up slightly each day and we appreciated not having to spend the extra money on food! There are two grocery stores within easy walking distance. Super convenient to access Atlantis resort. If I had to go to this Bahaman island again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. The room was clean and our maid Amanda did a great job giving us water bottles each morning for our adventures. The pool was a little cold but had a lifeguard on duty for the opening hours. The managers rum punch social three times a week is a nice touch!

Verified PurchaserWarwick Paradise Island: Quaint and cozy resort
Husband and I stayed for 7 days. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a great selection at the breakfast and dinner buffets and always different food everyday. We also enjoyed the a la carte restaurants. Great entertainment and friendly people. There was a wide range of activities throughout the day which always made it interesting and fun. The beach was private and small which prevented vendors from bothering you. The rooms were ok but they could use some upgrading and fresh paint. In particular, the bathrooms and plumbing could use upgrading but all in all it was a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed all the ships and yachts. We were walking distance to the marina, Atlantis and Cabbage beach. Unfortunately we were not provided with airport transfers which was very inconvenient and the taxis were expensive, not to mention the resort fees over and above the price. The staff is what made the resort.
The beach was great and the resort has a lot of potential but needs updating and improvements. Food was ok, not great but better than anything I had in Cuba ever. Rooms are dated. Cleaning staff could be better. Lots of sports to do which is great ! A gym, water sports, archery, pickle ball and tennis and even a trapeze. All in all relaxing but could be updated. Needs a dedicated coffee area and another food option. The beach bar food can be improved upon. Stores need to be open later. People look at shops in evenings and they close at .
I love this resort!!! The food is very good and they even have Taco Tuesday's :) The beach is well maintained and the pool is very nice to spend the afternoon in. And if you want they have a great hot tube.
Love this Hotel. Food never disappoints, so much selection!! Service excellent. Grounds and beach beautiful!!
Drinks were the best!! Amazing 24 hour bar and disco!!! So much fun!!will be retuning very soon.

Great opprtunity to participate in many excursions or events.
Plenty of staff keeping up with grounds and housekeeping.
Lovely opportunity to many great new people. Entertainment every night which waws fun!
Yearly girls trip of 6, age range from 45-70; and since we had not experienced the Bahamas, this is the resort we booked. The rooms are in desperate need of a makeover! The water pressure in the bathroom shower is almost non existent and your lucky if you have warm water! So much for getting shampoo out and rinsing soap from your body! As for the room, not even a little sitting area with small table, and I realize you don't go to a resort to stay in your room, but there are times you want to sit......to maybe have a coffee or put your shoes on, lol. We were also expecting a complimentary litre bottle of water and maybe a pop or two????? As we have experienced at other resorts. Food was mediocre, ala carte's were impossible to book, even though we tried first day there..........
On a positive note, even though the weather wasn't the greatest, the beach is awesome and we were pleasantly pleased to see how clean it was kept.
There were a few "friendly" "helpful" employees..........Kirkland was awesome! Very friendly and helpful! Along with 2 gentlemen in the dining area, my apologies for forgetting your names, but you know who you are!
Beach was awesome, rooms were dated and needed some tlc.
Water supply and pressure for showers was pretty much non existent. Barely got a trickle of water most of the time and it was not warm.
A/C did not work properly in the room. Turned the temperature up to 90 degrees but still froze. Left it off for the duration of our stay
Food was pretty good, nice variety
Bar was anlways out of something though. Felt like they were rationing things

Grounds, service and food were great. Prices on most things really expensive. Some pools that were supposed to be heated were not in the beginning of our stay which was disappointing and the beach sand was not cleaned to remove seaweed.

Verified PurchaserBreezes Bahamas: Resort was great-would go back for sure.
Customer service was amazing and entertainment was great. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the outdoor food place. Didn’t get to try the ala carts. Drink service was also good. I Recommend some air purifiers for the rooms particularly the piano room!

Verified PurchaserSandals Royal Bahamian: Amazing Vacation!!
We just spent a week @ Sandals Royal Bahamian May 2024. We had an Absolutely Amazing Time! We stayed in a swim up room on the west side and had nothing but sunshine and Island breeze from when the sun came up until 2 in the afternoon! The Resort itself is kept extremely clean! We felt very safe! It is on a public beach but sandals has security on the beach preventing anyone but Sandals guests on the property! The Resort is a nice size, beach is steps away from rooms! Lots of different food available! They cater to your every need! Thanks for making our stay one we will never forget!! If you want perfect weather this is The Place!! Our flight from Toronto was seamless it couldn’t have been better!! And you must visit Sandals Private Island!!

We have always vacationed in Nassau or Aruba and this time chose the Warwick Island resort. We were a little concerned as this hotel was a little smaller than the hotels we have stayed at. We did not need to worry about that,in fact I would say the hotel was better than our previous stays. The people were super friendly, the food was so fresh all the time, great variety and tasty. Every night different food, what a variety the buffet was so excellent we did not bother booking a la carte.
Poolside, there were always loungers available, you did not have to worry about leaving towels on them. Great location, watched all the ships and yachts manoveour the waterways. The rooms were spacious.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Good small resort
Heather was great to deal with very accommodating.
Fantastic flight with Sunwing 2:30 hours from Toronto to Freeport great crew.
Resort is very cute and well kept .This is a very low key resort great for getting around rooms need updating but relatively clean but I did request more pillows and received them. Check in was total disaster everyone were guided into the auditorium were you had to line up to get your bracelets rooms are not ready until 3 we arrived at 1:00 pm once you had your bracelet then you could go for lunch had to go back to auditorium at 3 for room key. Food was good nice selection beer and wine on tap no waiter or waitress service remember not a 5 star but over all was very pleased with this resort requested rooms close together family of 5 adults 1 infant very accommodating. The Italian restaurant was delicious also very good service. Did not try the other specialty restaurants International and Mexican. The beach snack bar had amazing food hamburgers hotdogs and nachos with pizza as well as a beach bar very accommodating tips definitely help put a dollar in the box..Beach absolutely stunning more than enough chairs no need to reserve beach beds. Entertainment was late never made it as it started at 9:30 lobby bar was nice for a night cap. Would go back definitely looking at November.

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Extremely Disappointed! Will not recommend! Go elsewhere!
There is so much that we want to share regarding the resort Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach, but we want to be fair and factual with our comments. We have travelled extensively, so do have comparisons to guide us.
First the positive things! The staff are excellent and do everything possible to ensure you have an enjoyable stay at the resort. The Beach is first rate and very beautiful, you could walk in either direction for a very long time. The Pool area is clean and recently refurbished, including the Beach Bar.
Now, here are the many, many areas for improvement. This is undoubtedly the worst resort we have been to including Cuba! This resort should be closed for major renovations. It is old and you see this everywhere. The main lobby is disgraceful and gives a bad first impression. The Theater is like a Barn with cheap white plastic chairs. The large bar area needs some new clean furniture. Glasses on tables are picked up regularly, but no one wiped the tables for the entire week. The food is tasty but very limited in variety. Meals are always cold! Nightly entertainment is limited to the same one person playing every night. Repetitious! Need a variety of performers for the week. The nightly shows were at a "high school" level. No doubt these kids worked very hard to put on the show. Paid for a "Superior" Ocean View Room and was placed in the furthest building from the ocean with a "glimpse" of the ocean. When I enquired about this, was told the resort was full!! The Sunwing Reps were not helpful and was only focused on selling day trips!! I should be refunded the "extra" we paid for this!!!Admittedly our room was recently repainted so was okay. Had problems with room lock which was not resolved! Had issues getting in and out! During the nights both doors rattled with the wind giving the impression that someone was breaking in!!This Resort needs a total reno job! Some of the common areas need a deep cleaning. It would benefit the resort to have focus groups to get input on the improvements needed. Using a double-decker bus to transport guests to and from the airport is senseless because more than 50% of the guests are seniors and had difficulties getting to the upper deck. Some were breathless and unsteady when they got upstairs. They were unhappy! The lower deck was for luggage only!! Would like to speak directly to a Resort management Rep!!! But not available or just don't care!

Verified PurchaserViva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Had a blast!
Food was fabulous, top notch. Rooms were fine, nothing special but super clean. Staff were great. Friendly, safe atmosphere. Dive shop was full of good people. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Would definitely go back.
Resort was great. Beautiful beach, food was good. My only complaint was the transportation. Open air double decker bus on the windiest day. Sunwing could of done better.Viva Fortuna Beach is definitely worth a visit.

Verified PurchaserLighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan: Relaxing Resort
Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan was a delight. The grounds were spacious and well maintained.
While the buildings are a little older, they were well kept up and had the charm we were looking for. Our room was large and comfortable. The AC worked perfectly and the housekeeping staff were great!
The pool is beautiful and the beach is perfect!
Not too many guests were there, so we never had an issue about finding the perfect spot to lounge or to dine.
The Waves Bar and Grill by the pool was excellent and served up incredible lunches. ie: Queen Conch tacos, salads, wings and nachos. The drinks were excellent and the staff were super friendly and happy to accommodate to your tastes.
The main restaurant is buffet style on weekends and ala carte on weekdays including breakfast. Coconut cinnamon french toast anyone?
This resort is also very walkable to the marketplace that includes restaurants, bars and some higher end stores.

Verified PurchaserClub Med Columbus Isle: Wonderful time at Club Med
We had a very warm welcome when arriving at the hotel and the atmosphere from that moment never stopped.
Excellent and very friendly staff.
Grounds are immaculate.
Room was perfect. 2nd floor with a view of the ocean, but we didn't spend much time other than to sleep as the beach was soooooo beautiful.
The app for Club Med was spot on (giving you the activities for each day, dress code for dinners, and all the information for your flight home).
Our luggage was brought up to our room on arrival and taken for us on departure.
Felt completely safe and well taken care of on our holiday.
Food was excellent each and every meal!
Absolutely not 1 complaint.
I believe we have now become Club Med travelers lol!
You won't be disappointed at the hotel (and if you are, you are not appreciating what the hotel has to offer or appreciating the kindness of the staff)
We will definitely be back!
Good job everyone!!!!

Verified PurchaserSandals Emerald Bay: Not Worth It!
The only things truly 5 star were the dinners, the grounds, and most all of the staff.
Breakfast and lunch were 3.5 to 4.
Room: It took 3 interactions with the reception desk and 2 1/2 days to have maintenance come to address issues with our room. The light was out in the water closet and there was a leak from the room above (long enough for mold to form). A 5 star room with mold?!? The hotel was also not full.
Included water sports: Nearly non-existent. The equipment was there but couldn't be signed out because they put up yellow and red flags. The worst the water conditions were were 12 inch waves mostly localized. No undertow or rips exist in the bay.
Excursions: Our day trip to swim with the pigs should have included snorkeling. That part of the day was cancelled without prior notice to those going; nor was there a discount offered. Note: The water in the area they showed us snorkeling was to happen was quite calm.
I could go on... All in... Sandals Emerald Bay did not deliver what it advertised!
I was not happy with my overall stay. With the location of the resort there was not much to do within the area. There wasn’t much activities to do within the resort. The taxi fare to get around to food places or shopping was outrageous. I was not able to enjoy myself as much as I would have liked. I don’t think I will be back at this location
